Hey, SF is back! This short story was inspired by Kalahari and his Medic wolf artwork here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/48486754 . It involves a small team led by her rescuing and then caring for a lost human. The technology is advanced but mixed with the tribal style of an isolated place. It does contain adult material.

The arctic air always had a chill, except for those rare summertime afternoons. However, the Arctic wolves who were part of the Emergency Response Unit were never phased by the cold. The locals, regardless of species, were equipped with durable winter coats that shielded them from the worst winter weather. However, the snowfall outside of one town in the edge of the habitable north was ominous.

Tikani briskly walked down the hall inside a small municipal building where the words “Emergency Response Unit” were engraved on a large sign outside. She entered a medium sized open room that was split between open showers to the right, and a dressing space with benches and lockers. There was no time to spare so the Arctic wolfess quickly found her gear waiting for her. Safety harnesses were strapped securely; fingerless gloves were donned; and an advanced collar communicator were snapped into place. Lastly, the most vital piece of equipment…

Known as iron legs, metal boots, or simply jumpers, the technology allowed the wearer to run in leaping strides somewhat similar to a kangaroo. It made pulling heavy weight, like a sled or running through the heavy snow much easier. Therefore, a rescue could be performed much faster, increasing the chances of saving someone’s life.

“All personnel please report to the main holding bay immediately. This is not a drill. Please report to the main holding bay.” The male voice of her team’s director sounded off through the intercom system.

‘I’m ready.’ Tikani confidently told herself with the final straps secure, and turned the power on for her jumpers. Data synced with her collar, and she was ready for action. The Arctic wolf quickly exited the dual usage room and went down a short hall before leaping down a flight of stairs. It was not a drill. Someone’s life was in danger, and their training was honed for moments exactly like this. Heart pounding in her ears, she was calm and collected despite the excitement in the air.

“I’m ready!” She burst through the door and into the holding bay where the rest of her team was ready and waiting with all of the equipment they would need.

A couple miles away in the snowy tundra, a blizzard had descended upon the region with sudden ferocity. Visibility was greatly reduced. The punishing winds and snow whipped across the frozen landscape forcing any living being to take shelter, wherever one may find it. But not every creature was so lucky. A single human was sheltering behind a small hill across the mostly flat barren landscape. He had unfortunately been caught off guard by the sudden change in weather. Snow had hastily been piled up at his sides to help block the winds, but it only helped so much in his condition.

‘I don’t want to die.’ He scrunched his eyes shut, and shuddered pitifully at his predicament. His cheeks were red and numb. The bitter cold bit and stung him without reprieve every passing moment. Extremities ached down to the bone. A shaking hand clung to a handheld radio for dear life. The human had sent out an emergency call for rescue hours ago, but he hadn’t received anything via radio except for haunting static. His worries only grew without any answers.

Despite durable gloves, his fingers were too cold and numb to operate the device anymore. Shivering feebly, Adrian’s only hope was rescue or the blizzard suddenly lifting; but his optimism was fading. He was exhausted and losing his fight with the cold. His vision darkened and he felt his body begin to give up. The cold crept closer with numbness setting in. The passage of time began to freeze in his rattled mind.

‘I can’t move.’ The thought bounced in his head as the wintry winds became deafening. Hallucinating sounds of birds and faint screams played tricks in his mind. Then the sounds of distant shouts and barks mingling with the gusty winds echoed in his ears.

“Hold on!” A voice echoed inside the blistering winds. It could’ve been a hallucination, and he couldn’t muster the energy to open his eyes.

‘Just hold on.’ His sluggish thoughts repeated what he thought he had heard; but even his thoughts were fading fast into the darkness. He heard something jumping loudly through the snow above the sound of the wind. And then nothing...

Adrian awoke from an oddly restful slumber. Laying peacefully still, he could feel himself breathing slowly and calmly. However, blinking his eyes only revealed darkness.

‘What?’ His eyes slowly danced from left to right before his brow furrowed in thought. Adrian wasn’t cold anymore, but it wasn’t from numbness either. It was dark all around him, but very warm and soft like floating on a sunny cloud. One thing was certain, he had no idea what was going on.

‘Am I dying?’ He wondered, but oddly didn’t feel unhappy about it. The human was no longer freezing beside a snowy hill inside a blizzard. A muffled sound of wind echoed faintly around him, as if he had woken up inside a cabin in the middle of the night.

‘Did I already die? Where am I?’ He tried moving only to feel weight pinning him down. Suddenly, there was movement all around him.

“Oh, I think he’s awake.” A soft female voice spoke up somewhere in the darkness.

“I think you’re right.” A second female voice whispered from somewhere close by. “Yep, I feel him squirming.” She confirmed.

“Don’t move.” The first voice warned. Adrian froze in place but still couldn’t see anything. He felt two arms move on his torso and something soft and furry squish against the sides of his face. Leathery padded fingertips and gloved hands rested securely over his crossed arms.

“What’s happening?” Adrian started to worry. “Where am-?”

“Calm down. We received your emergency call and rescued you.” The first voice told him.

“We?” He didn’t understand. “Where are you?”

“I’m laying on top of you.”

“And I’m laying underneath you.” They told him. It suddenly dawned on Adrian what they meant, and why he was feeling soft fur and body heat directly against his skin.

‘Wait, skin?’ Adrian blinked. “Am I naked?” A wave of embarrassment flashed over his body.

“You had enough snow on your clothes to turn into a snowman.”

“We didn’t take everything off.” The voice below reassured him. “All of your wet clothes have been removed, but we left your undershirt, middle piece, and paw socks for warmth.” It took him a moment to figure out that she meant underwear and socks. Thankfully, he could feel them on his body.

“You were going to freeze to death if you kept some of those wet clothes on.” The voice above explained. The recent memories of huddling in the snow and clutching the handheld radio returned to him. The horrible cold, numbing body, desperate calls, and sudden blizzard flashed through his mind.

“Phew. Oh, I’m really alive. Thank you.” He breathed an emotional sigh of relief, and managed to relax. Adrian could hardly believe it. He had survived after all!

“You’re welcome. It’s all in a day’s work.” The female underneath him warmly spoke. “I’m Tikani and she goes by Saint.” She introduced themselves to him.

“My name is Adrian.” He introduced himself. “Thank you for rescuing me. I thought I was going to freeze to death.”

“We aren’t finished rescuing you yet.” The voice above him grumpily spoke. Adrian felt the body on top of him shift, causing warm fur to brush over his body.

“Collar command, voice to mom.” Saint spoke and a dim green light blinked and barely illuminated a tiny space in front of his face. Adrian could suddenly see the outline of a fluffy furry neck, but nothing more in the darkness.

‘Collar command?’ He didn’t understand.

“Mom. The human is alive and now awake.” Saint spoke.

“Oh that’s wonderful!” A cheery loud voice simultaneously exclaimed through the collar and somewhere outside the sleeping bag close by.

“She’s going to come over here and check on us anyway, isn’t she?” Tikani quietly giggled.

“Yep.” Saint half sighed.

“Are we still outside?” Adrian was confused as the faint green light dissipated, returning them to darkness.

“Sort of…”

“We are inside a specialized sleeping bag to preserve body heat and keep us shielded from the wind.” Tikani explained.

“Oh.” He could hear the howling winds through the specialized sleeping bag. The sound of a zipper opening for a brief moment pierced the muffled silence of constant wind outside. Faint light poured in through a small opening. The subtlest sensation of Arctic cold air made the human tense in his nearly naked state; but the two furry bodies kept him warm.

“Hello!” A happy voice spoke above the harsh winds. “The wind is still rough, but it stopped snowing.” She informed them.

“That’s good to hear.”

“How is the human doing? You said he was awake.” The third Arctic wolf was curious.

“He’s doing ok, Mia.” Tikani spoke. Adrian felt an unseen hand pat him.

“That’s good news.” She sounded relieved. “Did either of you two want to switch with me? I’m not cold, but did the human need an extra layer of fur to keep warm?” Mia asked.

“I’m fine, but thank you.” Tikani mentioned.

“No thanks, I’m good.” Saint said. “Besides, your fur is probably full of snow.”

“I can brush my fur in two tail wags.”

“Mom, it’s okay…”

“Oh fine, but just let me know if either of you change your minds. Keep him warm!”

“Thanks, mom.” Saint stated as the zipper was resealed from the outside.

“Always the doting mother.” Tikani giggled.

“My doting mother.” Saint laid down down onto Adrian.

“So everything is okay?” He asked.

“Yeah. We were waiting for the snow and winds to lighten up before we move.” She explained. “I guess the wind is all that’s left now. With the weather as unpredictable as it is, we have to be cautious.”

“We got to you, and you’re safe, so there’s no need to risk running through a blizzard or snowstorm.” Tikani added.

“Isn’t your mom going to get cold out there?”

“We’re all Arctic wolves, so my mom would have to stay out there for several hours to get cold.”

“Oh.” He understood. “I didn’t know all of you were wolves.”

“It is too dark to see.” Tikani admitted. “Although you can feel our fur.”

“Yeah…” Adrian wondered if they weren’t wearing much if he could feel their fur. Did this mean he was laying between two naked Arctic canine women this entire time? The tiny dim green light suddenly illuminated on Saint’s communication collar.

“The wind has calmed down!” Her mother relayed. “I think we can head back if one of you two wants to help me pull the sled.”

“That’s good to hear.” Saint sounded happy. “I’ll come out in a moment. Get two leashes ready for our harnesses.”

“I will!” Mia’s voice excitedly spoke and then the green light to Saint’s collar disappeared.

“Alright. I’m going out to help my mom pull the sled.” Saint rose up and crawled over them. Adrian felt fur brush over his body.

“I’ll stay here then.” Tikani didn’t mind. “Let me know if anything urgent comes up.”

“Will do.” She continued climbing out once she unzipped a portion of the bag. Cold air flowed in, briefly chilling the human. A tail accidentally brushed over Adrian’s face, causing his head to turn to a soft mass beside him. Wiggling his nose, Saint left the specialized bag and zipped it shut form the outside.

“Her tail hit my face too.” Tikani told him while wearing a half grin.

“She’s not the most friendly type.”

“Saint doesn’t warm up to people quickly, but she’s a tremendous help to the team. I don’t know how, but she’s the exact opposite of her mother.”

“I see… I think I hit something soft with my head.” He turned his head back to face up. He could feel a certain softness resting on his shoulders and beside his cheeks. Out of curiosity, Adrian reached up and his fingers touched a soft ring of skin surrounded by fur. He paused as the soft warm mass easily yielded to his touch.

“Uh. Are those your-?”

“Yes.” Tikani answered before he could finish asking.

“S-sorry!” Adrian hastily withdrew his hand as embarrassment made his cheeks redden.

“You’re fine.” She reassured the human. “They’re the warmest and softest.” Her humor made his cheeks blush as both of her breasts stayed nuzzled around his face.

“Tikani, we are harnessed to the sled and preparing to move.” Saint’s voice sounded through the Arctic wolf’s communication collar above Adrian’s head.

“Please proceed. Thank you.” She replied back.

“How are they able to pull both of us on a sled?” Adrian asked.

“We all wear dual function harnesses. They can attach to a cable to the sled.”

“And pull us all the way back to town?”

“Yes, and we also wear special equipment on our legs to help us-.” Her voice suddenly stopped. Adrian felt the sled underneath them move as it was tugged, causing them both to sway.

“Hold on.” Tikani kept a firm grip around his torso.

“O-okay!” He kept ahold of her bare arms. The human could hear the faint sound of snow passing under them. The sled made a gradual turn before Saint and her mother started picking up their pace. They passed over an occasion bump or thump, but the ride was surprisingly smooth for the nearly frozen human.

“How fast are they going?” Adrian felt a strong consistent pull even after several minutes. The sensation was similar to driving a car.

“Knowing those two, probably a strong running pace.” Tikani told him.

‘A strong running pace?’ The human couldn’t imagine two people, Arctic Anthros or not, being able to do that on their own. The minutes passed by quickly as they seldom hit more bumps in the fresh snow.

“Tikani, the building is within sight.” Saint’s voice spoke through her communication collar after a while.

“We’re back in town?” Adrian could hardly believe it. His nightmare was finally coming to an end.

“Yep.” The Arctic wolf beneath him briskly spoke.

“Thank goodness…” He imagined sitting inside a warm cabin with something hot to drink. His eyes blinked as the sled ran over a small bump, and then a steeper incline. Adrian felt the canine’s large breasts squish around his face as her arms shifted up to tightly grip him.

“Uh.” He fumbled his words knowing what his face must have looked like despite being in the dark.

“We’re being pulled up the outdoor ramp and into the main holding bay.” She explained. The ground leveled off once again and then slowed down to a stop. A dull sound akin to a garage door was heard through the specialized sleeping bag. There were a few voices outside that he couldn’t decipher, but he heard the last one with enough clarity.

“Ok…” Someone next to them said. The specialized sleeping bag was opened from the outside. Bright lights stung his eyes, briefly blinding him. The bag was opened fully allowing modestly cool air to wash over the front of his body. However, it was no longer frigid.

“Careful. I’m sitting up with you.” Tikani cautioned him.

“O-okay.” He grumbled and rubbed his eyes. The Arctic wolf beneath him rose up, putting them into a sitting position. A wave of lightheadedness quickly overcame the human. Adrian grabbed onto her soft strong legs to steady himself.

“You alright?” Tikani asked.

“Light… in the head.” He managed to say. A pair of gloved hands held him steady as he gradually regained his balance.

“Oh gosh, is he alright?!” Mia’s voice pierced the air.

“Yeah, he’s just lightheaded from laying down for so long.” Tikani told her.

“Poor thing.” Their words hovered around the human until his fuzzy head began to clear up.

“You okay now?” Tikani patted his back before standing up. The warmth of her body heat and fur left his back, but he still felt warm enough on his own for the moment. The building’s interior felt warm and humid, especially compared to the raging cold outside.

“Yeah, I think so.” His eyes slowly adjusted to the room’s lighting until he could make out tile flooring and off white walls. Tikani stepped aside as the human’s vision began to clear. Adrian couldn’t see the furry bodies nearby very well, but simpler objects became legible. A poster read “Kanuq Regional Code…” with a list of locality numbers listed. There was a large clock at the top of a wall opposite of him, but he couldn’t accurately read the time yet. A small set of stairs underneath led up to a walkway and a pair of doors.

The snapping and unsnapping of buckles mysteriously sounded off around him from the Arctic wolves. After a little bit of focusing, he could now see his rescuers in their full glory.

“Oh my…” Adrian’s cheeks turned red once he saw how little his rescuers wore. Tikani, the Arctic wolf who he had been laying on, was an athletic canine despite the thick fluffy fur coat she possessed. A toned torso, and sturdy pair of legs were all evident to see mostly because she was virtually in her bare fur. This left her large breasts to bob along naturally as they hung from the lovely pull of gravity, but there was no embarrassment about it.

Clothing was always optional given the thick fur coats that the residents of the north possessed. Adrian knew this well enough. Arctic wolves, polar bears, lynxes, malamutes, huskies, and Samoyeds alike viewed clothing as unnecessary. Natural naturists at heart, there were even superstitions amongst elders about modern clothes who disdained them vehemently. A type of rain jacket or cloak was the only common clothing aside from a morning robe that everyone would wear.

The front of her torso from her fluffy cheeks down to the downy fur of her womanhood was a light dusty grey cream color. Her arms, legs, and backside were a standard gray, but her back and tail possessed a dark grey stripe. The tips of her ears and cheeks also had the same dark charcoal grey fur color.

The dash of white paint down the center of her forehead was matched by a long white line going across her cheeks and bridge of her nose as well as a short line on her chin. The tribal paint was a personal touch, but patterns were taken from tribal lineages often passed down from generation to generation. Their gazes suddenly met, or had they been staring at one another for a while now?

Her icy blue eyes cut right through him like the blizzard winds, but left him with a delightful chill instead of a harsh one. Adrian quickly closed his mouth. Those large breasts had been nuzzled up to both sides of his face for who knows how long. He could see the exact spot between both where the the dusty cream colored fur was extra messy. And his face still felt warm!

‘Wow…’ Adrian’s eyes slowly moved to another wintry wolf. Nearby, Saint was unfastening her complex harness tied securely around her upper body and torso. She had a thin athletic figure. Her body was proudly strong and lithe with varying shades of light and medium grey, but also just as naked as Tikani’s. Her breasts were much smaller than Tikani’s, and her stout nipples almost appeared sharp as they poked into the air like icicles. The tuft of light grey fur along her groin didn’t hide the line of her womanhood from view either.

Adrian soon found himself shivering from being exposed to the air wearing nothing more than a t-shirt; but also from the awkwardness of being in a room with several naked female wolves.

“Ah, you’re still cold!” Mia noticed he was shivering and quickly wrapped a thick grey robe around him. “You would’ve stayed very warm had I laid with you and Tikani on the sled.”

“Th-thanks!” Adrian bashfully spoke as his teeth chattered loudly for a moment.

“You’re welcome.” She was all too happy to help. The human gulped as the heavy breasted wolf smiled kindly at him, not at all minding that she was completely naked in front of him. The mature Arctic wolf’s thick fur coat was completely white from head to tail. She would’ve appeared invisible in the snow if it wasn’t for her dark brown eyes. A bit lower, her large breasts were openly hanging between her arms with wide pink rings of skin in the center of each. From what he could tell, she was a tad more heavyset due to age, but that didn’t seem to be holding her back at all. He didn’t doubt that he would’ve remained very warm in her fur coat.

The door at the top of the stairs suddenly opened up as a fully clothed grey fox emerged from the other side.

“Hey! You can bring him into the med bay!” He called out with a wave. “I’ll get Nayan and Ute from standby.” The grey fox spoke before turning back and hurrying somewhere else into the building.

“He has to be dramatic when everything is okay.” Tikani rolled her eyes.

“Claire already gave him the updated status report, so he knows everything is fine.” Mia confirmed with a nod.

“I did.” The athletic Arctic vixen confirmed nearby.

“Can you walk on your own?” Tikani crouched down beside the human.

“I uh. Um. Yeah, I think so…” Adrian started to use his legs only to hesitate.

“Here, Let’s help him Mia.” She put an arm around her shoulders.

“Of course!” The mature wolf knelt down at the human’s other side and pulled his other arm around herself. Adrian was easily pulled up by the two strong beauties and walked up the stairs where the double panel door slid open for them. The hallway was narrow, and the three of them snuggly fit between the off-white walls.

The subtle and occasional clicks of Mia and Tikani’s claws touching the tiled floor softly echoed, and was the only sound Adrian heard above the silence. It was incredible that their paws didn’t make a sound despite the casual steps they took. However, walking with the aid of two naked Arctic ladies was more of a distraction than helpful. He kept his gaze straight, hoping not to notice their nakedness too much.

“Okay, I think can walk now.” Adrian spoke up from the snug space between Mia and Tikani.

“Are you sure?” Tikani paused and loosened her grip.

“Yeah.” He stood without any extra support and felt steady. Tikani and Mia exchanged glances.

“Mia, can you help gather the equipment with Saint?” She requested. “I can take him to the med bay., if that’s fine,”

“Of course.” The older Arctic wolf agreed. “I’ll catch you at the showers later. If you need anything, just give a shout. You take care Adrian.” Her naked front brushed across Adrian’s side as she turned around and walked back to the holding bay.

“Thanks.”

“Thank you.” Tikani spoke before turning her attention back to the human. “Just walk alongside me, okay?”

“Okay.” He nodded and took his first steps on his own.

“You’re doing well for someone who nearly froze in a blizzard.” She observed with a faint grin and began walking alongside him with an orderly gait. Adrian couldn’t help but notice how her large breasts freely bounced off her chest, and subtly swung with her feminine stride.

‘Keep your eyes… focused.’ He blew a hasty sigh to avoid gawking at the beautiful canine lady beside him. They turned a corner and approached another set of doors. After keying in a code on a small panel, Tikani swiftly passed through the sliding entrance and led him down another short hall. There were a few side doors leading to closets, offices, or who knew what kind of other rooms.

“This place is small, but there’s a lot inside.” Adrian remarked as they passed under a small tapestry resembling a flag had the pattern of a white wolf head sewn on it.

“Yes. We also have a small pool for training and exercises.” She told him. “But we often use a large pond outside for training as well.” The thought of plunging into ice cold water made the human shiver on the spot despite wearing a thick robe. Tikani paused halfway in the hall, close to a small open area.

“This should be the room, but no one is here. They must be running late.” Tikani presumed and wiggled her ears. Instead of of taking him through a sliding door, there was a thin curtain that parted in the middle with a white wolf head logo. The inside reminded him of a simple doctor’s office exam room with a table, stool, counter, cabinets, sink, and an idle chair.

‘I guess since I’m not in danger, I only need a regular check up.’ Adrian guessed. The realization made him feel better as he sat down adjacent to Tikani.

“Do you know what time it is?” He asked. Tikani’s short ears perked up cutely as she looked around the walls, but didn’t find a clock.

“Sorry, I don’t.” She shook her head and looked back at the curtain. “I can go check if you want.”

“No, it’s fine.” He waved a hand. “I’m just exhausted either way.” Adrian slumped his shoulders. He couldn’t help but feel as though it was very late, but it didn’t matter.

“So where are you from, and what brings you here?” She curiously asked while watching him. “The town of Kanuq isn’t known for much other than being a very cold place.”

“Well, uh.” Adrian had a difficult time not staring at her naked body.

“I already know that you’re not from around here, because half the time you’re talking like I’ve pinched your tongue.” Tikani teased and tapped her thumb to her finger a few times before giving one of her large breasts a tap.

“Yeah. That’s true.” He looked away bashfully. The sound of voices caught their attention just as two figures walked through the curtain and into the room. The male lynx was short and stocky, mostly due to his thick winter coat, and wore a standard white lab coat. His tall pointy ears had tufts of fur on their tips. The female malamute however, was “dressed” traditionally like the Arctic wolves. Completely naked, her black and white winter fur was very fluffy and gave a stocky appearance. Nearly hidden in the dense fluff was a thick corded necklace with what what appeared to be carved bone ornaments attached. It was a very unique mixture of modern technology and tribal tradition.

“Hello!” The female malamute waved and smiled brightly to them both while the lynx gave a much more reserved grin and nod. “It’s always a good sign when everyone is sitting up on their own.” She noted. “You must be Adrian the human.” A hand was extended. “I am Nayan and this is Ute.” She introduced herself and the lynx to him.

“Yes, and hello.” Adrian shook her leathery palmed hand. “It’s nice to meet you both.”

“I see that you have another successful rescue Tikani.” Nayan acknowledged the Arctic wolf’s heroism.

“The entire team was ready once we got the call.” She softly grinned.

“Now then…” The female malamute focused on Adrian closely. “Can you tell me everything that happened to you? We will look you over while you talk.”

“Sure.” He nodded.

“I can fill you in on any details that you may need.” Tikani offered.

“Please do, but I should have everything in the report that your team sent.” Nayan tapped the tablet that Ute was holding.

“I have it pulled up.” The lynx added.

“Please remove your robe, Adrian.” The malamute donned her stethoscope and approached him. He was given nothing short of a standard physical. Although, they checked the human over thoroughly for signs of frostbite and any other ailment that could’ve been caused from the cold. Tikani happily explained her side of the story and how she found him. The most awkward moment for Adrian was when Nayan checked his heartbeat, leaving him with a very up close view of her bare chest. The human nervously smiled at Tikani who watched while holding back a smile.

“Considering everything, you’re in good shape.” Nayan concluded with a content smile. “You were smart to bring that handheld radio with you.”

“No kidding…” The human mumbled feeling thankful.

“Given the hour and what you’ve been through, I’d recommend that you stay here overnight.” Nayan advised.

“What time is it?” Adrian tiredly asked.

“About half an hour to midnight.” Ute checked his tablet in hand.

“It’s almost midnight!?” He was surprised.

“We do have spare beds for such occasions.” Ute the lynx added. “We can help prepare anything for you.”

“I can handle that.” The Arctic wolf spoke up. Adrian looked at her in surprise, but didn’t complain.

“Sure. I appreciate your hospitality.”

“Perfect!” Nayan smiled. “We can give you another check over in the morning, but you have a clean bill of health from us.”

“Thank you.” Adrian was glad to hear that everything would be alright.

“Take care, and goodnight.” Nayan and Ute bid him farewell for the night before leaving the exam room.

“You don’t have to worry about me. I’ll be okay.” Adrian quietly spoke.

“Nonsense. You nearly froze to death.” She reassured him. “I take my job very seriously.” The wolf gave him a kind grin and a thumbs up.

“Thanks. I appreciate it.” The human felt lucky to have her as a rescuer. The wolf smiled and let her tail wag for a brief moment.

“So what brings you up to the far north?” Tikani curiously asked.

“I have a distant cousin who owns a cabin up here at the edge of town. He’s an Arctic fox, but doesn’t care for the tundra like I do.”

“What makes you care for the tundra?”

“This will sound stupid, but I always loved snow since I was a kid.” Adrian admitted. “I never experienced it enough as a kid, but I would always be excited to go out and play in it. As I got older, it just looks beautiful to see the landscape covered in a white blanket of fresh snow. I planned to come up here for a visit since I had never been this far north before just to enjoy the scenery. I guess I pushed myself a little too far without any guidance.”

“This whole time I bought you were part of a research team, or something like that.” Tikani admitted.

“Haha, no I was never a very scholarly person.” He found it funny.

“I take it you’re not very used to Arctic anthro customs, like our lack of those clothes.” She gestured to the robe he kept tightly closed.

“Eh… no.” His modest answer made her giggle sweetly. “Well… You aren’t completely naked.” His eyes lowered to her odd equipment. “What are those things you’re wearing?” Adrian stared at the bulky parts on her lower legs an paws.

“Oh, these are called jumpers.”

“Jumpers?”

“Yep. It’s a nice piece of technology that helps us run long distances.”

“Oh wow. No wonder Mia and Saint got back here so fast.” Adrian said only to yawn.

“You’re tired. I shouldn’t keep you awake any longer.” Tikani guiltily spoke with her ears fallen back.

“Don’t feel sorry. You saved my life today.” He reminded her. The Arctic wolf stood up only for the white wolf curtain behind her to move. Adrian was surprised to see Saint’s mom Mia appear in the doorway. The pudgy mature Arctic wolf was no longer wearing any of her equipment and simply stood before them in her completely bare fur.

“You two are still here.” She was surprised to them as well. “Saint has already left, and I’m sure our director has as well.”

“Yeah, it’s late and I don’t want to walk home in the dark.” Tikani admitted.

“What did the doctors say? I thought he had a clean bill of health.” Mia looked at the human.

“They recommended that I stay overnight given the hour and what I went through.” Adrian spoke up.

“You look very tired.” She noted.

“He’s very tired from his ordeal.” Tikani agreed. “He can stay in one of the spare beds beside the nurse’s station.” She suggested.

“If there’s a bed, I will lay on it.” He spoke up causing both ladies to laugh.

“I’ll take you there then.” Tikani offered and helped him to his feet.

“Thank you. I’ll sleep well tonight.” Adrian murmured. Mia idled by the entryway with a look of concern on her face as hey walked up to her.

“What’s wrong?” Tikani asked.

“Can I stay with you two?” She hesitated to ask. “Would either of you mind?” Her eyes darted from Tikani to the human.

“Of course you can stay with us.” Tikani readily agreed and turned to Adrian.

“Sure, I’m fine with that.” He didn’t care.

“Thank you!” The mature wolf beamed and jumped to Adrian’s other side. “I was afraid that I had scared you earlier.”

“Nonsense. You couldn’t scare anyone.” Tikani smiled.

“Oh, I could try!” Mia giggled. All three of them walked into a nearby cove along the hallway. A clean countertop was flanked by a lone chair with a place to sleep. The bed was plain and small with a simple fitted sheet and long pillow to sleep with. The setup could’ve just been a mattress on the floor and the tired human would’ve been fine with it. Adrian sat down on the edge with a grateful sigh as Mia joined him. He slumped forward and realized that he had forgotten the robe back in the exam room. The human was left in a pair of underwear and a shirt, but he wasn’t cold anymore.

“Where did my clothes end up?” Adrian asked them. Tikani looked at Mia who answered.

“Saint and I hung them up to dry in the shower and locker room close to where we were earlier.” Mia explained. “They should be fine for you to wear in the morning.”

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” The mature Arctic wolf rubbed his back. The warmth of her leathery palm felt nice.

“Did you put up all of my equipment from the main holding bay?” Tikani asked.

“I put your collar and harness away, but you’re still wearing your jumpers.” She pointed out.

“Let me take them off then.” Tikani sat down on the chair near the bed.

“You must be very tired if you aren’t talking.” Mia looked closely at Adrian. “Or are you a quiet person?”

“A little bit of both.”

“Did you like Nayan the doctor? She’s always very nice.”

“Well, yeah. She’s very… helpful.” He thought about the malamute.

“All he could think about was her breasts in his face.” Tikani teased from her chair. Adrian cut his eyes at her, but didn’t have a retort.

“Oh?” Mia understood with a silly grin and looked back at the human with a gleam in her eyes. “Well there is nothing wrong with that.” She said in a reassuring tone. “Arctic wolves have the softest and warmest breasts to stay warm.” Mia winked. Adrian felt his cheeks redden with embarrassment.

“I told him the same thing in the special sleeping bag.” Tikani leaned forward and began unfastening parts of the technologically advanced items from her leggings. He tried not to watch, but gave up once her large breasts began to batter her knees. The soft feminine masses had a lovely way of swaying or resting once she was still for a moment.

“We should go to sleep too.” Tikani slipped both jumpers off and stood up, leaving them under the seat.

“Yes, it’s been a long day for everyone, especially Adrian here.” Mia patted the human’s back. Adrian expected them to leave, but once Tikani turned off the main hallway lights, she returned to the bedside. Mia shuffled over to the opposite end of the bed and laid down.

“Is there enough room?” He looked at the bed which was barely large than a twin size.

“Sure, I can have my back to the wall.” Mia offered and laid down. Adrian sat still until a white furred hand pulled him down into the middle of the bed.

‘Mia is stronger than she looks!’ Adrian thought, but the human had more pressing matters on mis mind. His back was pressed up very intimately to the mature wolf’s naked front. Moreover, Tikani was standing at the bedside wearing an innocent grin.

“Mmhm. It’s been a long day…” She yawned and stretched before climbing into the bed with them. Adrian stayed still as she unabashedly laid down facing him. The naked canine lady didn’t seem to care that their fronts were pressed together either. Laying between two voluptuously furred Arctic wolves whose fur felt softer than fluffy clouds was the greatest feeling he could ever experience. There was nothing warmer or more comfortable. It only took a few seconds for the exhaustion of the entire day to catch up with him. Tikani and Mia whispered to each other about the day’s events as he fell asleep.

Adrian awoke warm from head to toe, and his frigid mishap from yesterday was a distant memory. The human was very much fully rested and refreshed from the previous day’s ordeal. No longer aching or shivering, he nearly mistook the temporary bed for his own back home. He started to stretch only to feel two furry bodies nuzzled up beside him.

Adrian blinked and found himself looking a plain ceiling overhead. Looking down, his eyes widened as he found two pairs of large breasts resting on each side of his chest. Hands and arms were laying over him, and their legs below were tangled together like twisted knots. His arms were buried somewhere along his sides and their furry fronts. He could barely see anything past the wall of fur all around him, but felt as though the cold would never be able to touch him again.

‘This is perfect.’ He exhaled contently.

“Someone’s finally awake.” A soothing voice spoke up as a hand rubbed his chest underneath his shirt.

“Mmhm. Good morning.” He glanced to his sides and both Arctic ladies were awake.

“Stay warm all night? I didn’t hear a peep from you.” Mia licked her nose.

“Yes.”

“I told you our breasts are the warmest and softest.” Tikani winked at him.

“Yeah, I can feel them.” He nervously spoke as their breasts rested right in front of his face. Mia giggled and patted his chest. Tikani’s hand lazily brushed down over the human’s leg as she adjusted her own.

“Hmm?” She propped herself up and curiously looked down. Adrian tensed feeling her hand land directly over his crotch. It was common to wake up with a case of morning wood, but another when someone else was touching his manhood.

“Oh!” Tikani blinked and realized what he was hiding underneath his thin cotton garment. Mia looked and all three exchanged quick glances.

“Uh, Um. I…” Adrian felt flush with heated embarrassment and closed his eyes wondering what to say. Unbeknownst to the human, the naked Arctic wolf slipped out of bed and skipped over to the edge of the hallway. Tikani peeked around the corner and turned the lights before looking back at the petrified human with a very happy grin on her face.

“Ohh. You’ve got her excited.” Mia whispered into the human’s ear.

“You know…” Tikani’s voice dropped to a low murmur. Adrian could feel her sashay towards him despite her silent paw steps. A pair of leathery palmed hands and fingertips gently rested on his shoulders. Adrian gulped despite how warm and nice her hands felt.

“I have an idea… It’ll help us both warm up.” She whispered into his ear. “More than Mia’s breasts and my breasts together.” Her words made his erect length jerk in an almost painful throb. His eyes shot open as another hand pulled his underwear down, allowing his erect member to fully harden in the open air.

“Oh…” Adrian found the Arctic wolf looking at him almost nose to nose with her powerful icy blue gaze. “T-Tikani.” He found her gaze mesmerizing and captivating, but glancing a little lower revealed her bare breasts hanging freely just above him. Adrian’s eyes darted to his left where Mia was still reclined beside him.

“Don’t worry.” The mature Arctic wolf rubbed his shoulder. “I’ll watch.”

“She can watch.” Tikani affirmed and climbed onto the bed and hovered over him. The human’s face only turned a further shade of red.

“Are you sure I’m still not freezing to death back out there?” He half jokingly asked causing Mia to laugh beside him.

“If you are then I’m freezing right beside you.” She winked playfully. The human shuddered as the Arctic beauty atop him began to lower herself. Adrian braced himself, but nothing could’ve prepared the human for what was happening. His tip parted her furry lips before she pressed down further. Inch by inch, his entire length was soon enveloped down to the base, throbbing with glee inside her.

He took a deep breath as his brain tried registering the physical sensations flowing through his nerves. The warmth from her womanhood felt hotter than the summer sun down south. Grabbing ahold of her soft grey hips, his hands seemed to disappear into her thick winter fur coat.

“You okay?” Tikani asked with a touch of concern. Adrian had to lift his eyes from where her soft light grey groin fur covered his skin. There was still a sharpness to Tikani’s icy blue eyes, but there was also a soft intimate feeling glowing from within.

“Y-Yes!” He nearly stuttered as his heart thundered inside his chest. The lovely naked lady atop him and sensations radiating from their connected sexes awakened a primal urge within the human. Adrian no longer restrained himself, and reached up to massage her large furry breasts hanging so perfectly before him. Cupping them carefully, he ran his hands over them in every direction. Each one had a subtle weight and exquisite softness that made him only desire more. Even the blushing dark rosy pink skin was warm.

“Mmmm.” Tikani hummed pleasantly and began slowly grinding her hips as Adrian played with her breasts and hardening nipples. There was a quiet slick sound that was joined by deeper breaths that each took. The wetness gliding over his manhood was different from the pleasurable soft fur brushing over his naked skin. However, Tikani wasn’t overpowering. Her movements weren’t wanton, but graceful and effortless like her work ethic. A paced rhythm ensued that made her breasts bounced all the more erotically for Adrian to enjoy. Mia watched from his side with observant eyes, but didn’t want to be forgotten about entirely.

“Don’t leave me completely out.” Mia softly spoke up and placed a hand on Adrian’s busy arm. She brought one of his hands to her own bare breasts, somewhat saggy from age and size. Adrian was too enthralled in pleasure to object, and felt the older Arctic wolf’s motherly breasts with as much focus as Tikani’s. Tikani shot a brief glare at her friend, but didn’t stop bouncing on the human’s lap. Her tongue started to loll out occasionally as her strong legs tensed. Throaty grunts and passionate shuddering sighs filled the small half room, and spilled out into the empty hall.

Adrian found himself thrusting upward as much as he could, and feverishly fondling both of their bosoms. The pleasure was mounting and he had no intention of stopping or slowing down.

“I’m close!” Adrian called out. The Arctic wolf could only give a nod of understanding while riding him. Clamping onto his sides with her legs, she bit her lip and groaned with feminine zeal. Adria came with exasperated grunt as Tikani rode his lap for every pulsating shot. His body shuddered and nearly flailed before completely relaxing. A beautiful euphoric feeling flooded his entire body like warm sunshine. Tikani straddled his waist with a similar pleasured expression across her cute canine face. Adrian felt flushed with warmth, and had started to sweat from the intimate early morning workout. The moments gradually ticked by with only relaxed breaths being shared between them.

“That was… very nice.” Adrian breathed heavily and removed his hands from both ladies’ chests. Some fur stuck to his palms though.

“Mmhm. You certainly have good endurance for a male.” She huffed with a grinning sigh.

“Uh. Thanks.” Adrian didn’t know what to make of the compliment.

“It’s nice and warm in here now.” Mia spoke up with a little grin of her own. “A lot of passion for a small room.” Tikani’s short ears fell back bashfully for a moment. “You don’t think the front desk heard, do you?” Mia looked at the corner suspiciously.

“I doubt anyone is in yet.” Tikani looked over her shoulder.

“I hope not.” Adrian worried about getting them into trouble despite the good feelings coursing through him.

“You’ll be fine sweetie.” Mia reassured him with a soft pat to his chest. Tikani lifted her hips once he had softened up, allowing his member to slip out.

“I guess you need a shower.” Tikani realized that the human’s groin had become somewhat of a sticky mess.

“Yeah, that’s a good idea.” He agreed as she slipped off him and stood up. Adrian began to rise up only for Mia to stop him.

“Oh.” A white furred hand touched his chest. “I’ll get up next.” She suggested and hooked a leg across his side. Adrian found himself practically straddled by the mature beauty in all her naked glory. Mia smiled innocently enough, but gave him a few long seconds to eye her up before getting off.

“That was a hot and spicy morning.” Mia murmured to her friend while Adrian carefully slipped out of the bed last without leaving any mess.

“I have my stuff.” Tikani reached under the chair and retrieved her jumpers. “I’ll quickly check something first.” She walked over to the nurse’s station and typed something into a large tablet. Mia and Adrian took a moment to stretch before walking to the edge of the hall.

“Where are the showers at?” Adrian asked Mia.

“Down the hallway in another room.” Mia nodded to the left. “She has to put her stuff up anyway, so we will be with you.”

“Oh, Anastasia left a message for me.” Tikani spoke up with a little surprise.

“Who’s Anastasia?”

“A good friend of mine.” The wolf smiled but didn’t elaborate any further.

“What’s on the schedule for today?” Mia curiously looked at a calendar only to find that it was largely blank. “Why doesn’t anyone use calendars anymore?”

“Technology?” Adrian guessed.

“Some things shouldn’t change.” The mature wolf huffed.

“We were supposed to have an outdoor rescue training today, but I bet the director will reschedule because of yesterday.” Tikani stated.

“You’re probably right.”

“You don’t want to join us for a training exercise in the pond outside, would you?” Tikani teased Adrian.

“No, no thank you.” He half laughed.

“Males don’t like cold water.” Mia giggled. “It makes things shrink.” Tikani held back a laugh as Adrian frowned at the thought, but it was still funny.

“C’mon. Let’s get that hot water running for you.” Tikani walked with him down the hallway.

“It feels a little weird walking around with only a shirt on.” Adrian felt naked as they passed by the empty hall with his underwear in hand.

“Yeah, I don’t know why you’re still wearing your shirt.” Mia half joked.

“I don’t have fur like you two.”

“That’s why you have us to stay warm.” Tikani winked at him. Adrian didn’t have a funny retort or complaint with that. Turning a corner, they approached a set of double doors which promptly slid open for them; and revealed a medium sized room with two completely different functions. The right side had long benches and a row of open showers with a tiled floor and drains. The left side had smaller benches with a few lockers and shelves lining the wall.

“I’ll help you with the shower.” Mia offered and showed the human to the row while Tikani walked to one of the lockers. The rows weren’t far apart at all, maybe a mere arms length at most. It wasn’t difficult imagining the ladies casually bumping into one another while they showered.

“All of you shower together like this?” Adrian was still mildly surprised even though they walked around naked everywhere.

“Yep. Don’t people in warmer climates do the same? I bet you have outdoor showers since we can’t.” Mia asked.

“They could.” He shrugged. “I don’t know of anyone who does though.” He thought about how strange that would be where he was from. ‘As long as the bathrooms aren’t like this…’ Adrian kept to himself.

“You can take your shirt off and set your clothes on the bench if you’d like.” Mia gestured. Seeing that he was already naked from below the waist with naked women, it made little difference to take his shirt off.

“How do I operate this?” Adrian looked up at the shower head.

“Simply push this whole knob in and then turn it to how hot or cold you want the water.” She gestured with her hand to a nickel knob roughly the size of a baseball with a handle.

“Let it warm up for a second before you get wet!” Tikani called out from a locker. Adrian took his chances and pressed the knob like he was instructed. There was a brief sound before the hiss of fast pouring water shot out of the shower head. The sudden shock of cold water on his skin made him feel as though he had returned outside completely naked.

“Ahhh!” Adrian jumped to the side and into Mia’s arms.

“Oh my gosh!” The mature white wolf laughed loudly for a moment and held onto him.

“Told you!” Tikani called out. Adrian regained his composure as the shower ran beside him.

“Hehe. Here, let me help adjust it.” Mia reached over and turned the handle over. “There, let me know if that’s better.” She moved her hand to his back. Adrian touched the water with a cautious hand before stepping under the water.

“Ah, thank you.” He immediately rinsed his head. The hot water felt very nice and soothing.

“You’re welcome.” Mia let him be for the moment and walked over to where Tikani was across the room. Adrian took his time and relaxed while rinsing himself thoroughly before washing his body. Turning around to face the room, he could see the two Arctic wolves talking amongst themselves.

‘I could never imagine having to do their job.’ He thought to himself. ‘Gearing up, running out into the frigid cold, and searching for someone whose life hangs in the balance is the most intense job I have ever heard of.’ Adrian felt tense simply from thinking about the stressful tasks they had to deal with.

‘I guess I’ll be able to leave soon too.’ He would soon be dressed and headed to his cousin’s cabin for the day. The thought of departing saddened him a little. The sliding doors opened up and Saint walked into the room. She took a few steps before pausing.

“Hello and good morning.” Tikani waved.

“You three stayed overnight?” She looked at them in partial surprise.

“You left so early yesterday!” Mia exclaimed.

“It was already dark, mom.” She flatly replied.

“We didn’t want to walk home in the dark when it was so late either. I hope you cleaned up the dishes that were left out.”

“I did, I did.” Saint exhaled. “Speaking of dishes, Anatu was cooking in the kitchen when I walked by. She’s the only other person here that I know of.” She informed them.

“Cooking? I’m hungry. Aren’t you hungry Adrian?” Tikani called out.

“Starving…” He said above the pouring water.

“Sounds like a call for help to me.” Tikani giggled. “I’ll go see if Anatu has some food to spare, or if she wants to join us.” The wolf quickly exited the shower and changing room.

‘I am hungry.’ The human hadn’t realized it, then again he had plenty of distractions. Finished with his shower, he cut the water off only to discover a new problem.

‘I need a towel.’ He realized. Peeking around, he found a little loose tuft of grey and white fur hiding under the bench along with three low wooden stools. Dripping naked, he stood idly on the tile floor. The double doors opened up as the Arctic wolf returned with a smile across her face.

“Food is on the way!” She declared before turning to Adrian who waved a hand for help. Tikani nodded and understood before kindly bringing him a large towel.

“Thanks. I should’ve asked for a towel before I started.”

“You’re welcome, and it’s no problem.” She helped dry him off. “If this towel can dry my wet fur, then it should take care of you in less than a minute.” Her hands were firm yet gentle on his body.

“Thank you.” He said once his head emerged from the towel.

“You didn’t have any bad dreams last night did you?” She curiously asked.

“No. Why do you ask?”

“Just curious.” The wolf reassured him. “You slept without a peep like like Mia said.”

“It was the best sleep I’ve had in at least a year.” He made her chuckle.

“I’m glad to hear it.” The double doors to the room suddenly opened up as a nude female malamute barged inside.

“Hey! Who thinks this is a restaurant?!” The fluffy canine called out while carrying a large tray in her hands. However, a pleasant smile emerged on her lips as she stepped forward. She had an athletic figure despite her thick winter coat.

“Hooray for breakfast!” Mia smiled.

“Sorry to send a waiter after you, chef.” Saint half joked.

“No problem. I like to share.” Anatu sat down with them.

“Come over here you two, let’s eat!” Mia called out and waved.

“Ok!” Adrian wrapped the towel around his waist and walked over to the group with Tikani. Everyone was seated in a circle with one spot saved for him, and a spread of food in the center. The communal life of the Arctic anthro peoples was something Adrian hadn’t planned on experiencing during his brief stay up north, but there wasn’t one moment he regretted.

“I don’t recognize you.” The malamute looked at Adrian curiously.

“I’m Adrian.”

“We rescued him yesterday in the evening.” Tikani answered. “He’s the human who radioed us.”

“Oh!” Her face lit up. “You’re that human! Wow, I bet you feel better staying inside.”

“Definitely.” He nodded.

“He was unconscious when we located him.” Saint explained.

“Well, please eat as much as you want.” She gestured to the large tray.

“Thank you.” Not knowing the last time he had eaten, the spread of food captured Adrian’s immediate attention. Hard boiled eggs, boiled potatoes, cod, and a few other foods he couldn’t recognize were included. Everyone started eating if they hadn’t already.

“What is this meat? It is meat, right?” He picked up a small piece of very dark red, almost black food.

“Of course!” Mia held back a laugh as she ate one herself. “Try it.” Adrian took a testy bite and chewed it.

“It reminds me of fish, but like a beef steak.” He couldn’t place it.

“That’s whale meat.” Tikani said while chewing a potato.

“Whale?” Adrian blinked.

“Mmhm. My favorite.” Anatu hummed happily.

“Try the dolphin steak.” Tikani pointed at another dark slab of thickly sliced meat.

‘I don’t even think this is legal where I’m from.’ He took a bite anyway for hunger’s sake and found it to have good taste. The naked ladies around him chatted and gossiped about anything and everything while they ate a filling meal. Adrian was secretly glad to not be the center of attention. It was nice simply feeling normal once again without worrying about death.

“Alright. I gotta go back. I think my breakfast time is up.” The malamute stretched before standing up.

“Thanks for catering breakfast to us.” Tikani handed the empty tray and plates to her.

“Of course. I hope you liked some of our Arctic cuisine, Adrian.” She grinned.

“It was delicious, thank you.” He smiled in return.

“See ya later.” Mia said as the malamute left.

“Did you have my clothes ready for me?” Adrian asked. “I think I’m ready to go as well.”

“Yep, I’ll get them.” Mia walked over and retrieved them from a string up clothesline nearby. “Here’s your clothes.” She handed them over one article at a time. Adrian was happy to dress himself once again, and bid Mia and Saint farewell.

“Thank you both for your help, and rescuing me.”

“Of course! You take care.” Mia wrapped her arms around him, enveloping the human into a big fluffy hug.

“Mom you’ll smother him…” Saint sighed.

“Thanks.” Adrian patted her back until he was released.

“Take it easy.” Saint waved. Adrian nodded and walked past the double doors with Tikani alongside him. Walking down the narrow halls, they passed through two more sliding doors before reaching a little front lobby.

“Good morning-oh hey, it’s you two.” Anatu said from behind a desk. A young male husky was tending to a printer at the other end of the receptionist desk.

“Yep. Adrian’s ready to go, but I’m coming right back.” Tikani said and took him to the front door. The sun was shining outside without a trace of a cloud in the sky. However, it was still cold.

“It’s good to get back to normal.” He stood at the top of the small concrete stairs leading down to the sidewalk and street.

“You’ve got a clean bill of health from the doctors… and from me.” She added in a lower voice and winked.

“Ahem. Um, yeah. Thank you for that.” He felt bashful about it. “I will always be thankful for you and your entire team for rescuing me.”

“It’s all part of the job.” Tikani smiled. “Keep that radio handy if you want to walk out in the tundra.”

“I will.” He nodded.

“Take care.” Tikani winked and gave a simple handshake with her characteristic confident smile.

“Thanks. You take care as well.” Adrian turned and walked down the short flight of concrete steps to the sidewalk. However, his boot slipped as he stepped on a hidden patch of black ice. Adrian quickly grabbed ahold of a cold railing and prevented himself from falling, but Tikani managed to appear by his side, holding onto him securely.

“Thanks.” He breathed. “You’re not even wearing your jumpers.”

“I’m always prepared, but don’t give me a scare like that.” She softly scolded him.

“Hey. Sorry.” Adrian sheepishly smiled.

“Give me a heads up if you come back to town.” She quietly spoke before letting go.

“I certainly will!” Adrian smiled brightly before bidding her farewell. Walking along the street, he reached into his pocket and felt something inside beside his radio.

“Huh?” He felt a piece of paper. Pulling it out, he read a small scrawled message that had Tikani’s contact information. Adrian blinked a few times and read the note just to be sure. His cheeks had turned red, and not just from the biting cold. The human continued walking to his cousin’s cabin with a bounce in his step. He had a few extra reasons to enjoy the cold weather now.
