I snuck out of my house during the night, don't want my parents to find out what I'm up to. Since it was a two floor house I used a rose trellis to climb down. I nodded and patted down a spot on the blanket for her, "Go ahead, I won't bite."

She laughed and said, "I know, because I might bite you."

I laughed hard and said, "Well can you not bite my neck?"

She sat down beside me and said, "Why? Going for the neck is quick."

I raised one hand and said, "Yeah, but it seems a little too extreme for my taste. At least bite my arm if you want."

She shook her head, "Sorry, but I like the neck thing better."

I slugged her on the shoulder and said, "You're a bad girl." We laughed hard again, and then when we stopped, we both looked up at the sky.

The stars look pretty beautiful, I can even see a constellation, I don't remember what it's called though.

Crystal sighed and laid her head on my shoulder and said, "Ryan?"

I put my arm around her, "Yeah?"

She looked at me and said, "Do you remember how we first met?"

I smiled at the memory, "I saved your life from a stampede, in fact I was in a car driving around and all the animals chased after you for pissing an elephant off."

She gave me a glare and said, "Hey that elephant had it coming. I jumped on it's back, so it won't screw around with me anymore. Bullying me like I was nothing, ha!"

I giggled, "Well despite your good intentions you made a elephant angry and he started a stampede just to get back at you."

She sighed, "Yeah he almost did, until you came in your jeep and rescued me, and I never even knew how to repay you for it."

I nodded and looked at her, "You never had to repay me, and that was two years ago. I guess that repayment has been overdue for two years now, so too late now I guess."

I made a frown, "What? Is there something on my face?"

She shook her head, "No."

"Then what is it? You're looking at me like I'm prince charming."

She raised her head to look at my eyes again, "Ryan, I just thinking, since we both like each other, do you think that maybe we could...We could..."

I asked, "We could what?"

She finally build up the courage and said, "Mate with each other?"

My eyes went wide and then Crystal said, "Look it's like I said, I won't force you, if you don't want to I won't push it. I mean after all your a human and I'm just a lioness."
