Dragon's Legacy: Beyond the Gate
More experimental stuff, with a character that I will be keeping <3
Within the confines of a broken kingdom lie a gate hidden deep within the vaults once treasured by a ruined king. Once a week, a singular knight from the remnants of the kingdom's survivors come back to visit this vault on a pilgrimage of sorts. These gate knights are masters of a great magic and from the earliest moments of their knighthood they are given the burden of visiting the vault and standing guard, meditating on their power and the darkness within that had ruined their previous kingdom. The youngest of their order was given the duty to guard the entrance, to pour their magic forth to ensure that the darkness would be kept firmly behind that gate. One such knight stood outside the gates of the broken city, entering with curious big eyes absorbing the quiet ruins. Through the palace that had survived this entire time the young knight made their way, stopping only when they reached the stairs that led down into the vaults below, eyes narrowing staring back into the darkness below.
A young knight, bold and frightened all the same was on her own for the first time. She was unsure what she would find within the vaults, but with no more hesitation she began walking. Mia had been raised her entire life in a cloistered hall, a world entirely built to raise her bloodline into grand gate knights. From a young age she had studied magic, she had studied swordsmanship, but not a single time had she ever been alone and allowed into the outside world. The outside world was so much grander than she had expected. Green as far as the eye could see and even in the ruined city there had been flowers and shrubs growing all over. While the fear was rushing through her body, she shivered as well in anticipation. She had traveled through the old streets of her ancestor's home, seen the palace, and now she would soon see the cause of her ancestor's destruction, the source of the evil that had destroyed their kingdom.
Further and further down the steps she went, hand raised to cast light upon the walls. Eventually she made her way to the bottom where a large metal gate covered a great expanse. Before the gate a large obelisk jutted free from the ground, script etched into the obelisk. The words on the obelisk were a simple warning to stay out and instructions for priests and knights to give tribute to the obelisk; simple, nothing about what was within, and nothing about what had destroyed the kingdom. She had expected something far more specific, something far more exciting, and yet here she stood with nothing but more questions. With a sigh she placed her hand against the obelisk, allowing her magic to slip in, to feed the obelisk, but still nothing happened. Soon enough she took herself from the boring thing to examine the gate instead; her duty could be fulfilled when her curiosity was satisfied. Her hand trailed the smooth metal, searching for seams, cracks, or any signs of age at all, but she could find nothing except for a purple gem that had been obscured by the obelisk.
Curious, she reached to touch it. It felt so cold, so absent of life as if it had been untouched for centuries. She could feel an invisible pull, a chain dragging at the magic within her and she smiled just a bit. Mia had no clue what it would do, but she began putting her magic within the gem, closing her eyes and gasping as that pull gripped on to her entire person and began draining the life from her body. She had to tear herself away with a gasp as the thing nearly drained her with one singular tug. Panting she realized that she had fallen and her legs were weak. With some small struggle she picked herself from the ground to see that the gem was shining bright, and that the gate was slowly lifting. Her heart was pounding, her mind was racing, but she felt nothing but excitement. No evil presence came from behind the gate, instead she felt something like a fount of magic, a source. Once the gate was open just enough she slipped underneath, stumbling just a bit. Within she saw something amazing, perhaps the source of her kingdoms ruin. A dragon with white scales illuminated by torches, shackles holding the thing down by the legs.
Noise. So long had it been since the dragon had heard a single sound from beyond the gate or at all. He had been trapped for so long that the passage of time was absent, and his mind became blank when he tried to remember his name to introduce himself to the small human before him, small for human standards. A knight, one with the magic that had sealed his body within this prison. Standing, he calmly craning his head down to the girl who was now gasping for air, "Hrm...It has been a long time...since I've had company. Normally old men, now a pretty raven haired human girl with deep brown eyes...I do not remember my name...what is yours fledgling?"
Mia found herself in utter awe. Dragons had been extinct for so long that most simply talked about them to frighten young initiates. Beast of terror and foul magic, large and capable of tricking human's with demon tongue, but Mia only saw beauty. Realizing that she had been called pretty her cheeks flushed for a moment before she composed herself to speak her eyes growing wide as she finished her words, "Mia. Mia is my name. You...you don't remember your name...but, does that mean you've forgotten what happened to this kingdom?"
Eyes narrowing, nostrils flaring the dragon snorted, "I am not allowed to forget. I am drained of my magic and given some again, just enough to survive. Today was another day where I expected my torture to continue, but I am given this instead, a guest. If you're curious I'll tell you what I can, though perhaps fragmented. My crime is existence. I was taken in to be used as a source to fuel this kingdom's machinery, and my brethren burned it to the ground before being hunted down one by one. Even though I escaped, I was brought back again just as the world above was being torn asunder by war."
Mia's eyes widened, "Machinery? My home, my monastery operates through the power of our magic, of gems fueled by our effort. I've never heard of this, our history has never said anything, only that we made a grave mistake." She then looked up to the dragon, hand moving to touch the smooth scales upon his arm, "Why has no one freed you?"
The dragon closed its eyes. She was an innocent, he could not take what little anger he had left out on her, besides through her actions he would finally be free from this life, "Ignorance. Perhaps your order does not know. Regardless. I will die soon, perhaps the last of my kind."
Mia frowned. Her ancestor's had wronged this creature, taking his life, his family and more away from him and her own people had even admitted to these mistakes, shunning everything that their past had to offer. Atonement was well within their grasp, her teachers would surely approve, "There has to be something I can do...your kind are entirely gone, this certainly isn't right! There has to be a way to keep you alive."
The dragon opened one eye to see that the young knight would not leave him alone, that she seemed intent on keeping him alive to preserve his people. There was no way to keep his people alive, no way without sacrifice, "Leave. I am the last of my people and I do not care. I will join them finally, and perhaps even I will remember my name and theirs as well. Besides, even if I should live, I am broken." the dragon brought his wings up to show the deep gashes and holes that dotted his once glorious wings.
Mia stood her ground, even as she saw the horror of the dragon's past etched into his wings and even as the dragon snapped at her, she stood her ground, "There has to be a way. Now that I know what has happened here I can't just ignore it. I'm sure that my people would want to atone for this and if they don't then...I have to do it myself. This isn't right, you, you're a beautiful creature of magic, a gift from the gods themselves."
Snapping fangs and lashing tail didn't send the girl fleeing, so with a tired expression the dragon spoke what would need to be done, "I would pass my child to you, through my seed. So you see, an impossibility as I wouldn't force it upon you as your people would not only shun you, but they would kill you. Your life would be lost."
Mia's cheeks flared red and she felt heat rushing up her spine. She would lose her home, she would have to find some other place to live if she accepted this, but she couldn't just leave this, "I....I'll bear your child. I'll go back to the monastery and on my next pilgrimage I'll leave with your child in womb to a safe place."
A chuckle sounded off, echoing through the chamber. Standing up fully the dragon stretched, breaking free from the shackles that were there for mostly show. The gate had been the thing keeping him in and bound to those silly metal things. Even free he still felt his life ebbing away, but the girl before him had offered to take his child and even though he had made a display of horrifying and trying to push the girl away, there she stood, stalwart as the knights that had taken him from the sky. Staring down at the human he could only see a pale skinned fledgling knight, but her actions spoke volumes about her spirit. She was prepared to shoulder the sin of her people. He would give this girl his seed then, he would impregnate her, but more than that he would transform her spirit and give her the tools necessary to survive as an outcast of both her people, and the natural world. With a low hiss the dragon breathed out, "Very well. Shed your armor, your clothes, I'll be quick..."
Mia's cheeks were still flushed a deep red, but she did as she was told, armor dropping to the floor and her clothes soon following. She stepped out presenting herself unsure of what to do, but the dragon pushed her on to her back with one strong hand. She yelped and found herself pinned on her back facing the dragon's maw. The color sunk from her cheeks and she expected to be promptly eaten, but instead the dragon dragged his tongue across between her legs, pushing what it could inside of her causing her to let out the most embarrassing squeak she could muster. Her hands moved immediately to cover her mouth, her legs squirming. The dragon let out a rumble as it continued to lick at her pussy, tongue moving up and down to prepare her for his entrance. Pulling his mouth away he felt an old fire kindle within his mighty chest. It had been quite some time since he had tasted a female, and though he had never bedded with a human, he found himself growing firm and ready for his first, "What a smooth body...soft, curvy and yet firm in places...you've trained well." the dragon said as his eyes scanned her body.
Mia faced away from the dragon. She had expected to be mounted as simple beast would do to its mate, not to be flattered and romanced, still it was nice enough. Before she could thank the dragon however, it brought its body over her, that thick draconic cock presenting itself to her. She yelped and backed away just a bit, sitting on her elbows to stare at that twitching thing. Rather than put it inside of her, the dragon had slid the thick red shaft against her body and laid it against her stomach, allowing her to see it herself. He had licked her, he had prepared her, so perhaps the dragon expected the same. Lowering herself just a bit more she let out a shaky breath and reached to touch that foreign cock, stroking over it slowly. In truth this was her first time seeing any member at all. She had never really seen it fit to play with any of the boy's at home, figuring that she would find her man eventually when her training was through, but now here she was with a dragon's cock in her soft hands. Biting at her lower lip she began stroking the thing, a satisfied rumble coming from the dragon as she leaned in to tentatively lick the tip lapping up the salty substance that poured free. That was it, the seed wasn't it? That salty thing she had just lapped up had been the seed that would impregnate her with the dragon's child. The thought consumed her for a moment before she frowned. Bringing herself up, she brought the dragon's cock low to her pussy, rubbing it up and down against her wet folds before prodding the tip against her entrance. If she were to think about it too much she would lose heart and either try to escape or offend the dragon, she couldn't think about it, she had already made her decision and so she said in a quiet voice, "P-please...grace me."
The dragon upon hearing the request was a bit confused. It seemed that she was doing such a good job at serving him, but he remembered that this must have been a taxing thing upon the girl. A strange and odd creature was now about to impregnate her and possibly ruin her life. Perhaps in another life he could have had much more fun with the girl. Grunting, claws gripping and tearing the ground by Mia's head, the dragon pushed, cock head slowly stretching her pussy apart to enter. Below himself, the dragon could hear Mia gasping and whining, feel her body writhing as he pushed his cock inside of her. Already he could feel himself fading at this point and even if it pained him to do this, he thrust inside of her with one quick and rough movement, burying the bulk of his shaft inside of her insides causing her to yell out.
Mia's hair was wild and covering her teary eyes, her hands reaching up to touch the underside of the dragon searching for any sort of comfort as the beast began ploughing into her again and again. Mia could feel the desperation in his thrusts that sent her jolting with every push. Already she could feel that massive thing inside of her swelling just a bit, that warm dripping liquid pouring out occasionally telling her that he was close. At the same time she was slowly coming to feel some sort of pleasure beneath the pain, something that she could hold on to and focus, causing her to let out little groans along with her whimpers and whines. The dragon once more thrust to her, once more stretched her as he pushed in as deep as he could, Mia letting out a howl that echoed against the wall, her insides burning as they were flooded with warm thick liquid. She panted staring down at the space between them, the dragon letting out a roar as it continued pushing into her, more and more of that thick stuff filling her insides. She gasped out and whimpered closing her eyes tight, her body jolting and rising to the dragon's thrusting as something inexplicable happened. Her mind turned blank and her insides tightened upon that draconic cock, her chest heaving as she gasped and clutched at the dragon's body. When all was done she laid there panting still, her hands dropping to her side, the ordeal finally done.
The dragon had finished with her, he had planted his seed properly. Pulling from her he craned his head low to nudge at her chin, "I'm sorry for the rush...for the pain that must have caused you. Since you have decided to take this burden...I'll leave the rest of my life with you, and my child."
Mia sat up, unsure of what the dragon meant, her hair still a mess and her mind in a haze when suddenly her world went dark. Everything was blank for a moment and she awoke just outside of the gate with a start. Panting she looked around her body in a cold sweat. Standing, she saw the room before her that had been behind the gate was entirely empty. Not a single sign of the dragon, not a single remnant of the creature she had seen before. Had she truly seen anything, or had she passed out from the gem's pull at her life and simply dreamed of the dragon. She was fully clothed and felt in no way sore, so perhaps indeed she had only dreamed. It was only a dream. Still, that meant that nothing was behind the gate, or what had been there was now gone. Rubbing at the back of her head she looked to the ground to see great claw marks, claw marks that had been made by the dragon in her dream when it had been rutting her. Face paling further than usual she wondered where the beast had gone and why she had woken in such a state. It was then that she heard a chuckle, a sound echoing from nowhere. Turning about she looked around to see that nothing was there, that she was the only thing standing within the cave. She then heard the dragon's voice clear even though his body was nowhere to be seen, "I've given you the last of my life and with this last breath of mine I'll tell you something fun. You're no longer fully human. Live on knowing this fact...and keep our child safe. I still cannot give you my name...but I can say I was certainly glad to have you as a mate...perhaps in a previous life we could have had a life together." With those words uttered within her mind the presence faded and again she was left alone with far too much to think about. Feeling over her abdomen she chewed at her bottom lip, so now she carried a dragon within her womb and she in fact was not fully human. Only time would tell how deep the dragon's blood ran within her, but for now she would leave, she would make a plan to escape to someplace safe, perhaps to one of the few other settlements left.
Upon leaving the vaults and palace she found that the sun was out in full meaning that she had been out for an entire night. Shaking just a bit she made her way out of the city and back into the world not knowing what to expect, not knowing that her body had already changed so much.
