an endless voyage ch 41: All or nothing

Xenia is a clone of Admiral Maya, Admiral Maya is a Hungarian Kuvasz, and so is her evil clone Xenia (and Emperess Maya from the alternate reality)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

XSS Destroyer....
Karen-X knew her best option was to appear to cooperate. She also knew it would look suspicious if she agreed too quickly. So to that end she remained defiant throughout several rape and torture sessions. and only appeared to ''break'' under duress of torture when she felt it was appropriate. Years of abuse by Emperess Maya had her well accustomed to such torment, and she knew Xenia's obsession with her meant she could be Really defiant before she was in any real danger.
Eventually she appeared to succumb, and set about fixing Destroyer's systems.
In reality she had sabotaged the weapons and shields in the process of repairing them in such a manner, that when Jerry fired the particle beam cannon, the resulting overload would fry every control crystal in both the weapons and shields, rendering the ship defenseless and leaving him no choice but to withdraw from battle. She repaired the Engines-and only the engines- properly, of course.
...............................................
Gunner dropped out of hyperspace about an hour after breakfast.
"Excalibur, Gunner." She sent on comms. "Authentication Sarah alpha 992 red gamma 7 tango."
"Authentication verified, welcome home, Gunner." Maya said. "Git yer butt aboard, s' we kin git started."
"Yes ma'am!" Sarah replied. "Gods! its great to be home!"
She alligned the Raven for landing, and ran through her mental checklist as always.... gear down...tailhook deployed, speed 250....line up the ball...flaps down....
She felt the bump of the landing gear against the flight deck a moment laer, and began to apply the landing brakes. Seconds later she was jolted forward as the tailhook grabbed the arrester cables, bringing the Raven swiftly to a stop. Sarah hit the cockpit release, shut down the engines, and at last extricated herself, then headed off for a much needed shower while the techs downloaded her sensor data.
An hour later, Admiral Maya had called a meeting to plan the upcoming mission. She and the captains of the fleet were seated in the conference room, and Karen presented the data Sarah had collected.
"Mah gods!" Maya remarked "Look 't this detail! She put her nose rahgt up their asses an' they never batted an eye." She held up an image of the central portion of an Xian shipyard as an example.
"Its a canine expression." Mike told the other human captains who all looked at Maya quizitively.
"At least we know we are in the right place, Admiral." Captain Poloniev said.
"Yeah, but look at those orbital defenses." Jim said.
"Its a bloody fortress." Captain Patterson agreed.
"I see no way through those defenses, Admiral." Captain Cheng said.
"I disagree. " Mike said. "If we knock out those three nodes. the defense network should collapse."
"It wont be pretty, but yeah. I agree." the captain of the CSS Buckner added.
"You're talking about a suicide mission." the captain of the Louisiana added.
"Not necessarily." Maya said. "If'n we use the Xian IFF that Gunner recovered, it jus' mahgt confuse their sensors long enuff t' take out them nodes." Fighters take out the nodes, an' then, workin in pairs, y'all keep the cruisers off mah six while Ah nail them shipyards, we finish scrappin their fleet, an' hit the planet hard with ever'thang we got. If'n each ship takes these positions." she activated an overhead projector in the table, showing a globe of X from Sarah's scans, with geosynchronous orbits and ship names on it. " we kin blanket the planet with nukes, autocannon, railgun an' laser fahr, an' turn the surface t' glass."
Maya knew it wouldn't be easy. She knew the cost of victory would be high, but it paled in comparison to what the Xians would do if they failed. And she also knew all to well the difference in necessary lives spent, and lives needlessly wasted, and made it a point to weigh her decisions carefully so that any casualties were always the former rather than the latter.
"Ah won' sugarcoat this." Maya said. " S' the biggest battle any a' us's ever dreamed a'.... an' some of us aint gonna be comin home....But if'n we fail, that's it. Nobody'll ever git this close t' X again. We're all that stands 'tween the Xians an' conquerin the known universe..... Now Ah gotta do this... Its in mah contract... 's what Ah'm gittin paid fer...an' 's what Ah live fer. Ah won' thank less a' ya' if'n anyone wants t' back out."
"Dixie runs from no one, Admiral." Mike said. "We Rebs will never submit to tyranny."
"For Queen and country, Admiral." captain Patterson said.
"No worries Admiral, you can count on Mother Russia." Captain Poloniev added.
"China has your back, Admiral." Captain Cheng added.
"We're all in this together, Admiral, and we'll see it through." Jim said.
"Here Here." the other Confederate captains added.
"Alrahgt." Maya said. "Then lets git down t' buisness."
And so began the actual planning of the great battle to come.
Everyone looked over the data Sarah had collected -and there was a great deal of it- and then, Maya listened as the fleet captains offered ideas and opinions for each leg of the mission, and factored in all their multiple viewpoints as she drew up her battleplans.
"Meilin, Ah agree, we caint jus' charge in head on>" Maya said as she began to explain her strategy. "Yer rahgt Mike that moon needs t' be dealt with fore they kin raise the alarm. Usin' the stealthship t' blow the nodes fore the fleet jumps in, 's a good ahdea Dimitri, but S' Karen said, they'd detect the radiological signature a the nukes...an any conventional payload big enuff t' do the job'd make the stealthship bout impossible t' fly." She paused, then; We'll use the stealthship alrahgt, but she'll jump in moments 'fore the fleet, an' scatter sensor decoys, powered down, throughout the detection grid. Then when we jump in, we light up the decoys, an overwhelm the grid. If'n it works it'll blind their computers an' force their gunners t' fahr manually."
"There's no reason we all gotta jump in the same point either." Maya continued. "We spread our coordinates, an' skew our vectors exitin hyperspace, s' we spread out. That way our forces're distributed evenly t' deal with theirs, an' not presentin such a attractive target fer the orbital defenses."
"I swear, Admiral, with your tactical brilliance, your name will be echoed with the greats, like General Lee." Mike said.
"Or Winston Churchill." Captain Patterson agreed.
"And General Tsun Tsu" captain Cheng said.
"Or Alexander Suvorov." Captain Poloniev added.
#
" Ah reckon so, but 's jus part a' the job." Maya said. "Anyway, s' Ah was sayin, we skew our exit vectors, an' spread out the fleet, Jackson an' Tsun Tsu here, Buckner an' Stuart here, Queen Elizabeth an' Jefferson Davis here, Alabama an' Landry here, Kentucky an' Louisiana here, Lee an' Vassilev here, an' Ah'll be comin rahgt down the middle, where Mah fighters kin cover y'all an' yer pilots kin make use a' mah tankers. The minin' ship'll drop out further bahind us, an' send out a ore shuttle unmanned, on autopilot, packed with weapons grade nuclear material in t' one a' the shipyards. If'n the dickheads take the bait t' investigate, BOOOM. We hit 'em from all sahdes at once an' their ships got nowhere t' run. We box 'em in an' blow 'em t' scrap." she paused then. "Mah pilots'll deal with the center control node, Lee an' Vassilev, yer pilots take node 2, Jackson an' Tsun Tsu, yer pilots take node 3."
"Aint gonna be a lot a' room t' maneuver with all them weapon platforms in the way, an' in s' close t' the planet's gravity well, fortunately that affects the enemy s' well. Unfortunately it means the enemy's more likely t' try an' make use a' their fighters t' do kamikaze attacks. We all seen the tactic 'fore." Maya said. "Gonna expend a lot a' ammo fer point defense AC an' RAC turrets, but it caint be helped. Each ship'll need t' assign one fighter squadron t' anti kamikaze defense." she paused then "If'n y' git boarded, use yer transporters, lock on t' Xian lifesagns, an' beam em in t' space. won' work fer Xenia 'course, but it'll git rid a' her soldiers. Failin that, git yer people outta them areas an' vent the section t' space. we caint afford t' be fightin on two fronts here."
"Ah want Lieutenant Ivanov t' pilot the Raven this tahme, 's Ah need Gunner takin out the nodes." Maya said. "An' in light a' what we're about t' do, Ah'm makin it mandatory all fleet personnel report t' Doc Natalie in mah Sick Bay, t' put sperm 'er eggs on file."
"Admiral I understand the thought, but respectfully I do not think subjecting the female population to laparoscopic surgery before a battle is very prudent." Captain Cheng said.
" "S why Ah said put 'em on file with Doc Natalie." Maya said. "Doc Natalie has a procedure fer collectin eggs that don' require surgery, an' zero recovery tahme. S' almost 's easy 's it is fer the males donatin sperm. Ah done it mahself, 's 've all mah crew."
"In that case I see no problem with it." Captain Cheng replied.
""Respectfully Admiral, I feel Lieutenant Cambridge would be better suited to flying the stealthship." Captain Patterson said.
""She jus' got back in the cockpit after recoverin' from battle injuries, an' Ah caint take the chance a' her freezin up from shellshock." Maya said. "Sahdes, Ah need her with Gunner's squadron. Ah based mah decision on a combination a' things, includin physical health, various aspects a' pilotin skill, personality, an' mental condition...S' a pretty close draw most a' the way, but Kelly's recent injury swayed mah Decision in Yuri's favor."
"Once we've dealt with the platforms 'an ships in orbit, the biggest problem's gonna be from ground based missiles on the planet." Maya said. A squadron a fighters assagned t' shoot down anythin leavin the atmosphere'll take care a' most a' that, but if'n any git through, Excaliburs' hull armor's the thickest. We kin take the hits, s' as a last resort use mah flagship fer cover."
..................................................................
While the meeting to plan the mission dragged on, Karen was with Hank, working to do their laundry. It wasn't exactly the best way to spend time together before such a mission, but it was still nice. Particularly when a pair of very large faded undies came up in the bags of clothes they had taken to wash.
For a moment, Hank froze speechless. His maltreatment by Selena had him still a little shellshocked to such things. "I...Its not what you think, Honey." he said before he could stop himself. As his mind caught up, he knew full well Karen wouldn't mind if he had some fun with the Admiral, but for one brief moment he was worried.
"Yes it is, my love." Karen said. "Maya left these in our bed when she and I were intimate most recently."
then seeing Hank looked like he had a bad dream she added "Another flashback from Earth?"
"Yeah." Hank said. "For one brief moment was worried you would be upset I had anal sex with the Admiral this morning before the meeting. If those are from your time with Maya then where did she leave the other ones?"
"Don't worry my love, that would never bother me." Karen said. "I know you love me above all and that is all that matters." she paused then. "As to the underwear she dropped this morning, Tom picked them up when he gave me analinguis as thanks for me being pregnant with Trina's pups."
"That's good honey." Hank said with a smile. "Might as well wash them with our stuff though. waste of power not to."
"Yeah." Karen agreed. "But she isn't going to recognize them afterwards."
"Yeah I'd say not." Hank said with a laugh. "I bet they haven't been washed properly in a long time."
"Six years, four months and three days." to be exact." Karen said, giving the underwear a sniff. She tossed them to Hank. "See for yourself."
"My nose isn't as sensitive as yours, honey." Hank said. "I smell kuvasz butt, pee, and Honey, but it doesn't tell me anything about how fresh the stains are or how long they have been there."
"Sorry." Karen said, piling more clothes in the machine. "Its easy to forget you can't smell the things I can."
"No problem my sexy lovegoddess." Hank replied. He added the underwear to the machine he was loading, then at last dropped in the detergent tablet and started the cycle.
...............................................................
An hour following the meeting, Doc Natalie and her nurses had their hands full at the inrush of fleet personnel coming to donate eggs or sperm. She also had to give Lieutenant Yuri Ivanov a physical as Karen needed his exact weight and measurements to calibrate the Raven's inertial dampers and calculate projected fuel burn rate.
On his way out afterwards, Lieutenant Kelly Cambridge poked her head out from behind a privacy curtain to say: "Good luck out there Yuri. And good Hunting."
"I am sorry you did not get the call." Yuri replied. "And thank you."
He took the clipboard Doc Natalie had given him down to the fighter bay where Karen was waiting, making a final check of the engines and weapons while Feena loaded the decoys into one of the internal ordinance bays.
"Good evening Chief Karen." Yuri said when the spaniel slid out from under the aft section lying one one of those ''mechanic roller's " "I was told to report to you." He offered her the clipboard.
"Yes, thank you, Lieutenant Ivanov." Karen said. "I just need to make a few adjustments now, and if you will climb into the cockpit and take a seat, I can adjust the flight controls to your liking." She looked over the paper from Sick Bay on the clipboard as she spoke.
"Thank you." Yuri said. Then as he climbed into the cockpit, he said. "This displays are alll in Canid I can not read this."
"Its all digital." Karen said. "Touch Sol on the starmap, touch the 3rd planet, then touch Russia on the globe that appears, and the linguistics database will program the readouts to display in Russian." The ''battery'' switch was already on as Karen had needed power to check over some of the systems.
"This is much better." Yuri said.
"Good." Karen said, "Go ahead and start the engines so I can check the hydraulics, and then you can show me how you want the flight controls configured."
Yuri flipped the engine switch from "battery" to "start" and one by one the four JP3850 engines spooled up to ignition flashover without incident. It was impossible to hear over the noise, so he gave a 'thumbs up' to show ignition good.
Karen climbed up on a wing of the fighter, wind from the inrush of air through the turbine intakes blowing her fur about and flapping her fancy ears a bit in the process. Leaning into the cockpit she plugged a data cable from a maintenence datapad into the instrument panel and began to adjust the various control responses the way Yuri wanted them.
Even this close, they both had to shout to be heard clearly, but they got the job done, and Karen also adjusted the RCS pedals to fit the length of Yuri's legs properly. Then she unplugged the cable, climbed down, and completed her check of the hydraulics.
"Ok." Karen finally said. " Taxi up to allign for takeoff, and then shut the engines down so I can top off the fuel. "
Yuri did as Karen asked, and soon, The Raven was ready for launch. Karen informed the bridge, and Maya gave the order to proceed with the mission.
Yuri refired the engines, and took off without incident. Once in open space however, like Sarah, it took him a moment to adjust to the digital controls. Once he got it down, he contacted the bridge. "Excalibur, Shark, all systems read nominal."
"Copy Shark, Engage Hyperdrive....An' good Huntin." Maya replied.
"Likewise Admiral." Yuri said, taking the Raven to Hyperspace.
And in a flash, he was gone.
An hour later, Maya ordered the combat patrol recalled, and ordered the fleet into hyperspace.
At current speed that gave them roughly twenty four hours to ensure all fighters were refueled, and ready, and to get some rest before the battle to come.
...................................
Everyone awoke to their alarm clocks with two hours still until they dropped out of hyperspace. Time enough that the command staff of all ships were fully alert and all fighters, tankers, and support craft were manned and ready to go. The Raven would have already arrived, Maya knew, and would be seeding the decoys among the sattelites at this very moment.
Karen found herself wishing she could be in several places at once, as she had to run the transporters to quickly recover downed pilots or people abandoning ship as well as beaming any intruders into space, but she also wanted to see Hank off in the fighter bay, and be in Engineering to help with damage control. She sent her wellwishes with Grace who was going to see Tom off anyway, and then set about double-checking that the transporters were ready and tuned properly to .001 variance. Then she checked her sidearm, armed the transporter room automated defense turrets, making sure they were calibrated to only fire on Xian biosigns, and fired up a portable APU to keep the systems online in case main power failed. Then at last settled in for the battle to come.
Admiral Maya ripped a huge noisy fart as she straightened her posture in the command chair. Kayla had just announced two minutes to their destination.
"Admiral that is disgusting." Molly remarked.
"Beans an' brats. heck of a pre-mission breakfast." Maya said.
"Probably not the best idea." Kayla remarked. "Ten seconds."
"Drop us outta hyperspace." Maya said. "Callie, shields up, arm weapons an' fahr on the firs' target y'see." She mashed a button on her command chair then "Launch all fighters an' support craft." then another "Enginerrin, Ah want ever'thang y' kin gimme fer shields weapons an' engines, take it from artificial gravity if y' have ta jus don' make us weightless without warnin." then she turned to Erika. "Activate the decoys, an' send this fleetwide. "All ships, 's Admiral Maya. "Light 'em up." Then to Molly. "Broadcast Xian IFF. S' see if'n we caint confuse 'em."
The fleet all engaged their assigned targets simultaneously, and for the moment, the sheer number of decoys seeded through the detection grid, combined with broadcasting Xian IFF had the orbital defense platforms spazzing out, arming, disarming, rearming, tracking about in endless circles. THe Xian battleships and cruisers returned fire of course, launching their own fighters as expected, but for the moment it was good news.
.....................
Xian command bunker....
"Fleet Admiral Andy, send to His Majesty King Jerry, and Galaxy Commander Xenia." Andy told the bunker's comm officer.
"Done sir." came the reply.
"My king, she's here." Andy said. "I don't know what the fuck she did but the defense grid isn't locking onto her ships. we could really use Destroyer's firepower right about now."
"We are pushing the engines, but we are still two days out." Jerry replied. "How the fuck did she get there so quickly." His blood boiled with rage.
"The wreckage you found, my king. We believe it was somekind of wormhole projection device." the ship's science officer remarked.
"Of course thats what it was you idiots." Karen-X said. "I will try to coax a bit more out of the engines but we are yellow-lining hard as it is (canine term for red-lining.)."
"Stop them at all costs." Jerry told Andy. "Make that fucking bitch sorry she ever set foot in this Expanse."
"Yes, my king." Andy replied.
............................................
"Bogey on my six." Gunner called out, as she set up an attack run on one of the nodes.
"Not anymore there isn't." Shark broke in on teamcomm.
"Good to see you made it, Shark." Gunner said. "Form up with Bullseye, Gator, Longsword and Yinyang and let's get this done.
"With pleasure, Gunner." Shark replied.
......................
Excalibur shook from the impact as the shields cackled with electricity absorbing enemy fire.
"Shields down to ninety two percent." Callie informed.
"Keep firin." Maya said. "concentrate on any shield impacts. Helm, Evasive Maya 7 tango."
"Yes ma'am." came the replied.
"Weapons platforms are slowly coming back online." Molly informed. An 80" AC burst slamming their aft shields puntuated her remark.
"Gunner, Excalibur, need t' speed up takin out those nodes." Maya informed.
"Wilco Excalibur." Gunner replied, then to her squadmates, "Hotshot, Gator, watch our six, Longsword, Bullseye, Shark, on me. Let's punch it."
.........................
The view outside their cockpits was breathtaking. The sheer sight of all that ordinance being exchanged as both sides traded fire...one could almost say it was pretty. May knew better of course. She knew all too well the aesthetically pleasing scene was in fact the partially controlled chaos of war. She saw one of her wingmen was in trouble, and immediately slammed the throttles to full afterburner as she twisted her Phoenix Mk V in a tight high-g turn to intercept the enemy.
The Dick-Head chasing Melanie stayed hot on her trail, firing off bursts of AC fire as the newfie bitch dived climbed, barrel-rolled, and pulled all sorts of high-G combat maneuvers to shake her pursuer. At last he had finally achieved missile lock.
May put the reticule on her HUD dead center of the Xian's engine and mashed the trigger.
Her fighter's twin autocannons tore through the Xian's shields, and shredded his engine. The Xian fighter exploded before he could fire.
"Fucking moon outpost's shielded." Melanie said on comms."I finally broke through but I'm out of missiles."
"Bug out fer resupply, Ah got a full load." May said.
"I'll cover you first." Melanie said. "I still got autocannons."
May set up her attack run, waited for lock, and pulled the trigger. "Fox-2" she announced as the missile streaked away from her fighter.
"Nice shooting." Melanie said. "Excalibur, moonbase is history."
"Bout tahme." Maya said. "Keep on 'em."
"Gladly Admiral." Melanie replied.
...........................................
C.S.S. Kentucky
"Enemy's shields are failing, sir." the sensors officer reported.
"Our shields are holding at forty percent." the tactical officer reported
"Target their bridge with the main cannon." the captain ordered. "Fire."
"Yes sir." the tactical officer replied.
The white-hot beam of superheated compressed plasma lanced out from the bow of the C.S.S. Kentucky, and engulfed the bridge of the Xian ship, boiling away hull armor as it seared through everything in its path. The superheated air inside the ship caused the Xians on the bridge to spontaneously combust, moments before being exposed to hard vacuum as the cannon carved through the ship.
That plasma beam weapon was the ''secret'' weapon of the Lee-Class ships. It was slow to recharge, though Karen's modifications to the Queen Elizabeth's cannon had since been made on all ships, ate a lot of power, and had issues with overheating, but it packed a hell of a punch for a ship their size.
"Target destroyed sir." the sensors officer informed.
"Sir, the Louisiana got hit hard from the orbital defenses. Their shields are down."
Move us in close and put our shields around them." The captain said. "I know it wont hold long but maybe it will hold long enough."
"Aye sir." came the replies.
..........................................................
"Shields at seventy percent, Admiral." Callie informed.
"We just lost a shield generator ma'am." Melennia informed from the bridge-engineering station. "Several meters of our aft port quarter are unprodtcted."
"Kayla come about, protect our aft port quarter." Maya ordered.
"Intruders on deck 50, Admiral." Callie informed. "Reports of gunfire with security personnel."
Maya pressed a button on the arm of her command chair. "Transporter room."
"Already on it, Admiral." Karen said. She worked the transporter controls as she spoke, locking onto the Xian intruders, and beaming them into the cold vacuum of space. It was not the first time she had done so, and would not be the last, but still, it felt strange using a machine that normally made everyone's lives a little easier, in such a manner. At least the transporter executions were quick.
.....................................................
"Excalibur, Gunner." Sarah reported, "That's two nodes down."
"Good t' hear, Gunner." Maya replied.
"The Vassilev just took out the last one." Molly informed. "Orbital defenses are going offline."
"Unfortunately we just lost the Stuart." Erika said. "The Buckner reports the Stuart's crew abandoned ship and the Buckner is working to recover the escape pods."
"Point t' point jump, 's give 'em sum cover." Maya said.
"Yes ma'am." Kayla said. "Engaging Hyperdrive."
The massive Heavy Dreadnought made the jump to hyperspace, only to drop out a milisecond later, coming between tow Xian battlecruisers and the CSS Buckner still working to recover survivors.
Kayla brought the ship 180 degrees about, presenting their more shielded bow to the enemy while protecting their aft quarter, and Callie brought the weapons to bear like a bag of hammers.
..............................
So far things were looking up. Maya had only lost one starship, while the Xians had lost several, as well as their orbital platforms. The fluid nature of battle was such that could cnange in a heartbeat, but for the moment the odds were in Maya's favor.
Massive volumes of munitions passed eachother in flight, shields flared, cackling with electricity, and explosions bloomed colorfully as the powerful starships traded blows.
Fighters form both sides swarmed like masses of angry hornets, some pilots locked in deadly duels of skill and machine capability, while otthers harassed support craft and starships alike.
the mining shuttle sent out on autopilot at last reached the center of one of the shipyards, and detonated with a blinding flash. four Xian battlecruisers and one heavy dreadnought battleship were vaporized as the blast set off a chain reaction in the shipyards fusion reactors.
Radiation from the blast played hell with sensors, but for the moment it was one less thing for Maya to worry about.
Human and mammilian pilots flew side by side, watching eachother's backs as they carved their way through the soup, but for every Xian fighter they shot down it seemed two more took its place. It was the Xians' homeworld afterall. The enemy had a relatively unlimited pool of pilots to draw from, sending fighters up from the surface to replace those destroyed in the battle. Losing one didn't hurt them much in terms of combat effectiveness... but the fleet's pilots were finite. Every time one of them went down, the fleet's combat effectiveness took a hit.
...................
C.S.S. Stonewall Jackson.....
The ship shook like it was coming apart as an Xian nuke slammed into their shields.
"Shield Status!" Mike shouted, picking himself up off the floor and retaking the command chair.
"Under 20 percent, sir." the tactical officer replied. "Hull breech on Deck 3, ventral railgun 4 and torpedo tube 3 are offline."
"Emergency bulkheads!" Mike shouted, pressing a button on the command chair. "Engineering, transfer auxiliary power to the main cannon. As soon as we fire dump whatever's left into shields."
"Yes sir." the chief engineer replied.
"Target locked sir." the tactical officer reported a moment later.
"Fire!" Mike ordered.
The tactical officer pulled the trigger, sending a deadly beam of superheated plasma into the Xian battleship's engineering section. The intense energy ate through what was left of the dickheads' shields and carved its way through the hull sending the bodies of Xian soldiers spewing out into space. The beam seared through the Xian ship's main reactor core, and the ship exploded moments later.
"Damn straight. That's how we do it in Dixie! " Mike pumped a fist in the air. then on fleetwide comms. "Excalibur, we have a kill."
"S' good news, Jackson." Maya replied. "Jus' got another one mahself."
"Glad to hear it, Admiral." Mike said.
................................
In Excalibur's armory, Rena was busy painting "From Maya with love" on each of the nukes as they were loaded for launch.
In the main transporter room however, it was a much more somber scene. Karen had just beamed over what was left of the Alabama's crew. The ship had been hit hard and there was no way to get to the escape pods in time. Maya had made a point to point hyperspace jump hop[ing to rescue the crew with the transporters but there just wasn't time.
"How many'd we git?" Maya asked.
"Two hundred." Karen said. "I got two hundred...out of four hundred fifty."
"Y' did yer best." Maya said.
Moments later a med team arrived to take the two hundred survivors of the C.S.S. Alabama to sick bay. Most had only minor injuries, but there were severe burns as well, and they all needed to be treated for smoke inhalation anyway.
.............................
"We need to do something about that other shipyard." Sarah told her squadron. "Lets get in there and take it apart from the inside.
"See those tanks." Kelly said. "We pop one of those buggers and I'd wager the whole thing will light up like a bloody christmas tree."
"A what?" Sarah asked, confused.
"An Earth tradition." Tom said. "Its a holiday a lot of people celebrate."
"So that's what all those weird decorations the captains of the Earthships requisiton every year were for." Sarah said.
"Yeah." Hank said. "Karen and I put a small one up in our cabin, but we had to be sure everything is safe for the pups. Anyway you put lights on the tree and that's what Longsword was referring to."
"Alright." Sarah said. "Tighten it up, and let's get fast. ready on your jump-drives the second those tanks blow."
"Yes ma'am." everyone replied.
They put their throttles up to full afterburner, flying in tight formation as they began their attack run.
"Whoever gets the first clean shot." Danny said.
"Agreed." Sarah said.
The flak was heavy from Xian point defense AC turrets firing grapeshot throughout the shipyard, forcing Gunner's squadron to bank and weave threading the needle between support structures as they made their approach to the target.
The tanks Kelly had mentioned were protected additionally by a pair of anti-aircraft missile batteries, but Yuri's well placed burst from the Raven's autocannons took them out before they became a problem.
"Nice shot! Shark!" Tom commented.
"I've got lock." Kelly informed. "Fox-2-4" She cooked off four missiles in rapid succession.
As Kelly's missiles streaked toward the target, they all used their jump-drives (and the Raven's Hyperdrive) to make a brief FTL hop clear of the facility seconds before the tank exploded.
It set off a chain of secondary explosions that rippled throughout the shipyard until eventually triggering a meltdown in the fusion reactors and the whole place went up like a supernova.
"Damn, Longsword, you dont screw around." Danny remarked.
"They had that coming, Hotshot." Kelly replied.
"Excalibur, Gunner." Sarah said. "Second shipyard is history."
"Glad t' hear it." Maya replied.
Explosions could be heard over the comm, and Sarah knew Maya had her hands full even more than they did.
"Alright." Sarah said. "We're all gettin a little low on go-go juice so lets hit the tankers before we head back into the soup."
..............................
"Admiral, we've lost the Louisiana." Molly informed.
"Wait, I'm getting reports the crew beamed over to an Xian ship, the XSS Stiffie before their reactor breeched." Erika informed."
"Confirmed." Molly said. "Sensors show gunfire aboard the Stiffie. Xian life signs diminishing...now only reading humans aboard."
"Callie, tag the Stiffie's a friendly." Maya said. "Erika inform the fleet."
"Yes ma'am." they both replied.
More enemy fire buffeted the shields sending tremors throughout the ship.
"Shields down to forty percent, Admiral." Callie informed. "Dorsal autocannons fifteen through twenty four are offline."
..............................
XSS Stiffie (Under Confederate control)
Eliminating the Xian crew was one thing. Actually operating the ship's systems was another entirely, as the former crew of the C.S.S. Louisiana discovered.
"The good news is, the bad guys still think we're one of them, for the moment. " the tactical officer said. "The bad news is its only a matter of time before they realize our not firing at ships of the fleet isn't due to battle damage."
"So where are we on gaining control?" the captain asked. They were standing on the alien bridge at the moment.
"That thronelike seat is obviously the command chair." an Engineeer said. "I think thats the helm over there." she gestured to a strange looking console with what she guessed were flight controls judging by their shape.
"I think I found the bridge-engineering station." another officer said. "I can't make heads or tails of this writing, but that looks like a ships' status display.
"The shields look white. assuming that bubble indicates shield strength." the captain said.
"Unfortunately I think in Xian, white means red, sir." another officer said.
"Any chance you can fly this thing?" The captain asked his helmsman who was examining the helm console.
"I can manipulate the controls, sure. As to actually knowing what i'm doing, it'd just be guesswork, sir." the helmsman replied. "Trial and error."
"How about weapons." the captain asked. "When they figure it out and start shooting, we need to shoot back."
"I think this is the aiming joystick for the autocannons." the tactical officer said. "Other than that..."
"Guesswork." the captain said. "Alright keep at it." the captain said. He took his seat in the thronelike command chair, and immediately the lights on the bridge went out.
"I dont think this ship likes us very much, sir." the first officer said.
"The feeling's mutual commander, but for now this bucket's all we got." the captain said.
"Its a biosecurity sensor." the Chief Engineer said. "I can bypass it but it will take time. and first I have to figure out how to bypass it without overloading the systems."
"Helm's dead sir." the helmsman said. "all the controls are frozen and the displays are blank.
"Yeah life support too." the engineer said. "There's enough air in here to last us a while, but we better fix it soon."
As if an angel were looking out for the crew of the Louisiana, Grace and Molly materialized at that very instant.
"Impeccable timing." the captain said. "Chief Karen, our engineer needs help bypassing a biosecurity sensor, Molly we need you to translate the controls and displays. And not to rush, but life support just shut down."
"Actually, I'm her daughter Grace, sir." the spaniel replied. "My mother is busy recovering downed pilots."
"Gods this place stinks!" Molly remarked. "Is this the bridge, or the latrine?"
"Yeah its pretty bad." the captain said. "Its the bridge though. At least I'm pretty sure anyway."
Grace bent down to inspect the security sensor, and opened her toolkit. She took out a tool and probed various points inside the panel, after which she said. "I can't remove it. It is hardwired into the power grid in such a way attempting to bypass it would trigger the autodestruct."
An instant later the lights came on and consoles started booting up.
"I thought you said you couldn't remove it." The captain remarked.
"I did." Grace said. "So I reprogrammed it to accept Human and Mammilian biosigns instead."
"good work." the captain said.
"Alright let me see here." Molly said, looking over the engineering display first. "It looks like your shields are at five percent and slowly recharging." she started to scribble down notes in Earth English as she spoke (all languages came naturally to her). "Your weapons are online, but only the forward RAC's and aft missile batteries are functional. Your hyperdrive and sub-light engines are all online, and main power is at forty percent...but you're venting atmosphere from hull breeches here and here." she pointed to white sections of the display, and Grace manipulated the appropriate controls to seal them off. "You're also bleeding Deuterium like a fountain, but the reserve tanks look okay." She handed the captain her notes, and then proceeded to do the same for the Helm, Tactical, sensors, Comms, and the other vital systems.
Using Molly's notes, Grace set about transferring the remaining Deuterium indo their auxiliary tanks, while Molly worked to translate everything. (Her father being Human, Grace could read English almost as well as Canid).
It was relatively quiet aboard the Stiffie for the moment, despite the battle raging all around them outside.
......
While work proceeded on the bridge, Confederate officers set about mapping out the ship, and marking key locations on notepads they carried. To say it was disgusting work was an understatement. the foul putrid latrines and filthy shower rooms had them wishing for EV suits, but the mess hall and galley were a close second.
Roach farms made up a majority of the food stores, giant roaches weighing upwards of five pounds in some cases. Various half-eaten roach-based dishes were strewn about the mess hall, and large pots of the same in the galley, along with a putrid clay-like substance that appeared to be some kind of synthetically produced nutrition substitute, which was biochemically similar to the fecal matter of sentient canines, which the fleet fed to their Xian prisoners due to the prisoners' inability to digest normal food.
The crewmen made a note to requisition some real food from Excalibur after the battle, and set about the task of cleaning out the Xians' food stores and placing the inedible ''food'' in with the Xian bodies being piled up in the main fighter bay. Once everything had been placed there, the captain planned to momentarily drop the forcefield with the bay doors open, and let all the garbage get sucked out into space, bodies included.
..............
Another missile salvo from the planet's surface was quickly shot down by the fleet's fighter squadron assigned to the task. Thankfully none of the missiles got through, but nonetheless May wanted to take out the launch facility responsible, just to teach the Xians a lesson.
"Alrahgt, any' a' y'all ever handle a Phoenix in atmosphere?" May asked.
The consensus was, ''only in simulations''.
"Alrahgt, we kin manage. " May said. "Jus' member yer inertial dampers're only fifty percent effective in atmosphere, s' watch those G's."
May's squadron adjusted speed and trajectory for atmospheric entry, and moments later great fireballs engulfed their Phoenixes, as the shields held back the heat and friction. Their speed carried them through the thermosphere quickly, and when at last the flames died out, a great alien city spanned out across the desert beneath them. AA AC, and SAM batteries cut loose almost immediately, but May and her squadron were ready.
A well placed Smart Bomb May deployed moments earlier put the defenses out of commission, even as she and her squadmates, banked hard, threading the needle between buildings while dumping flares and actively jamming.
The missiles went after flares, or slammed into alien buildings, and May's squadron continued on.
Slowing down from hyper-mach speeds to a mere 600kph for an attack run on one of the many ballistic missile launch facilities, the human pilots in May's squadron were briefly stunned at the reality of flying over an alien city on an alien world like this. They quickly recovered of course, but it was nonetheless incredible.
...............
Gunner's squadron having tanked up and rejoined the fray was still doing well. It was only after their most recent battle with a group of elite Xian pilots in an awesome display of piloting skill that made air show aerobatic maneuvers look easy that they at last landed aboard the closest fleet ship, the C.S.S. Jefferson Davis, to resupply their munitions. Sarah had also tried to convince Yuri to exchange the Raven for a Phoenix Mk V so as not to risk the stealthship further, but the young Russian pilot was not about to give up the Raven just yet. To his credit, Yuri had used the ship's stealthiness to good effect, seemingly coming from nowhere to pull his squadmates butts out of the fire, and hit the enemy where it really hurt. In the end Sarah relented, as while she didn't want the Raven getting blown up, she also wanted to test the ship to its fullest, and Yuri had proven himself capable of doing just that.
While their fighters were being fueled and reloaded, the pilots grabbed a quick bathroom break and a bite to eat while they had the chance.
"Ugh. This is worse than Dawn's gruel we had on that rock a while back." Tom commented, choking down another bite of Jambalaya.
"I told you we should have landed on the Vassilev." Yuri said. "Confederate food is bland. Russian food much better."
"No we should have landed on Tsun Tsu." Yaolin said. "Chinese food is best."
"Whats with your tastebuds, Bullseye." Danny said. "You was born a Reb like me. You should like Confederate food."
"It tastes okay to me." Kelly said. "Though I admit British food would have been better."
"It tastes like Molly's ass." Sarah remarked.
"No it don't." Tom said. "More like wet paper. Molly's ass tastes a lot better."
"Its foul, but better than nothing." Melanie said.
"Yeah." Hank agreed. "I think you're just spoiled to canid food, Bullseye. I sort of am too, but I still remember how human food tastes."
The pilots finished quickly, and raced back to the fighter bay just as the techs had finished resupplying their fighters.
"Light those fires boys and girls, we got work to do." Sarah said climbing into her Phoenix as she spoke.
Tom and the others quickly followes suit.
It was a routine takeoff, up to that point, but when they fired up their engines, all the thrust kicking around blew the shirt of a technician up. She was standing on the flight deck, waving lightsticks to direct fighters taxiing into position for takeoff. Why she wasn't wearing maintence overalls or a flightsuit was a mystery, but the pilots flashing eachother a thumbs-up got an eyeful at any rate.
"I'll say this though." Yuri remarked on comms. "Confederate girls have nice guns."
"I hadn't noticed." Tom said honestly. "Now the Admiral, there's a nice ten-pack you can really wrap your hands around."
"Boys." Kelly sighed.
They ran their engines up to full afterburner, then released their landing brakes, and soon enough they were flying free once more. Melanie had a little difficulty, pulling the nose up too late as she was not accustomed to the human ships' shorter flightdeck, but nonetheless they all made it unscathed.
................
The Xian helmsman was good, but Kayla was better. No matter how the Xian Heavy Dreadnought tried to maneuver, Excalibur stayed right on top of them. Callie poured burst after burst of AC fire into the enemy's shields despite the Xian's best efforts to evade.
The Xian gunner was no slouch either, and a lot of their ordinance found its mark. Shield strength was falling rapidly, and had failed completely in several sections.
The C.S.S. Landry blasted the Xian ship with their main cannon, finishing off its shields and carving a nice hole through the hull.
A final torpedo salvo from Excalibur was all it took to finish the job. Unfortunately the Xians got off a lucky shot before their ship exploded.
"We just lost main power, Admiral." Holly informed from the bridge engineering station.
"Ah kin see that." Maya replied. pressing a button on her command chair. "Bridge t' Engineerin."
*no response*
"Unfortunately internal comms are down too." Erika added.
"Gods Dammit!" Maya cursed. then under her breath, "Come on old girl, don' do this. Jus' hang on an' Ah'll git ya a complete overhaul soon's were dun here."
"Ma'am. Your orders?" Holly asked.
"Take a message down t' engineerin." Maya said. "Tell Tina if'n Ah don' have full power back in five minute, Ah'm gonna make Karen chief engineer."
"Yes ma'am." Holly said with a laugh. "That outght to do it."
"Yeah." Maya said. "Tina's a fine engineer, she jus' needs the proper motivation. Now get goin!."
"Yes ma'am." Holly replied. Then she set out for Engineering.
..............................
The launch facility dealt with, May and her wingmen had some fun strafing the streets of the city, sending alien vehicles and pedestrians flying in a gory mess of explosions, bullet ridden bodies, and twisted metal.
"Yee Haw!" Kaci remarked. "How's it feel t' git a taste a' yer own medicine Dick Heads!" She strafed a group of Xians running down a street as she said it.
Larry wasn't quite so enthusiastic. He had dreamed about this day from the moment he set foot aboard Excalibur....How wonderful it would feel to make the Xians pay for what they had done.... But now that dream was reality, and as he saw those Xians running, presumably screaming in terror and agony as he and the others rained hell on them from the skies, he couldn't help thinking how bad it had felt when the Xians had done the same to Earth. When those phallic shaped fighters came in, strafing the streets of Port Allen Louisiana..... When he saw on the news their old highschool had been taken out by an Xian missile...Houston, Atlanta, and Miami being nuked...He did his job nonetheless but still, he couldn't help wondering if any of the alien buildings they destroyed had been schools, shopping centers, or movie theatres.
"Ah reckon that's Jerry's castle, 's set up a attack run." May said.
"Yeah but look at their flag." Larry said.
"Hahaha! Serves'em right." Kaci said. "Fuckin dickheads."
Her reason for laughing was simple. With an APU powering the transporters, Karen had beamed the Xian flag from the top of Jerry's royal palace, and used it to wipe her ass after a much needed bathroom break. She then attached the Aces' flag to the bottom edge, and beamed both back down, so now, the Xian flag, with a big shit stain over King Jerry's face, flew upside down, while the Avenging Aces flag flew above it, right side up. It symbolized that the Xians had been conquered (though the battle was ongoing) by the Aces, though of course it was anyone's guess if the enemy would actually recognize the morale-crushing gesture for what it was.
"The Admiral shure knows how t' rub it in." Kaci remarked.
"Maw didn' do that." May said. "Stain's too small." she paused as they made another run at the castle, unleashing the last of their missiles and firing long bursts from their autocannons, then added; "Anyway Ah reckon we bes' bug out, comin up on bingo fuel anyway."
"Yes ma'am." the other pilots replied.
They pulled into a steep full-afterburner climb angled to leave the planet's atmosphere.
.......................
Main power came back online just as Erika informed Maya the C.S.S. Lee reported the last Xian ship was history. Unfortunately it had cost them another ship. The C.S.S. Buckner, as with her ship exploding all around her, Captain Amelia Anderson had armed all her nuclear missiles, ordered her crew to abandon ship, and set a collision course, valliantly sacrificing herself to destroy the last Xian Heavy Dreadnought.
While their pilots worked to eliminate the remaining Xian fighters, The remaining ships, including the captured Xian ship, moved into assigned geosynchronous orbits, preparing to nuke the planet.
"The fleet awaits your orders, ma'am." Erika said.
"Alrahgt." Maya said. "All ships, lock in yer targetin coordinates." Maya said on fleetwide. then to Callie, "Spin up all functional missile launch tubes, release firin' safeties, an' open launch doors."
"Only a third of our missile tubes are coming online ma'am." Callie replied. "Opening launch doors."
"Firing safeties disengaged." Callie reported a moment later. "Target coordinates locked in."
"All ships report Launch status green ma'am." Erika said next.
"All ships commence nuclear bombardment." Maya ordered. "Authorization Maya Alpha 447 red 225 Charlie Tango 4 green." then to Callie, "Commence firin, all weapons."
"Commencing orbital strike." Callie reported.
"All ships report initiating orbital strike." Erika informed.
................
Mushroom clouds blossomed up from thousands of sites all over the planet, leveling alien cities in an instant.
The nuclear fires combined with impacts of autocannon and railgun slugs impacting and white-hot plasma beams boiling away the already molten crust quickly reduced the surface to molten radioactive slag. It would take centuries, possibly millenia, for the surface to finally cool under the heat of those binary suns, and even then, the radioactive fallout and toxins in the atmosphere would keep the planet uninhabitable almost indefinately.
The fleet had only just finished their bombardment when a very unwelcome guest showed up.
........................
XSS Destroyer........
"My king! the sensors officer said. "We're too late."
"What do you mean too late!" Jerry glubbed.
"Our home, sir. I'm reading no life signs... the surface reads as molten glass."
"Launch fighters, shields up, arm weapons." Jerry said. "Let's make that bitch pay."
"Yes my king." came the replies.
"Now y' see how cruel Maya really is." Xenia told Karen-X."
"Somebody had to do it." Karen-X replied. "I've watched Emperess Maya ''glass'' many worlds...But this is the first time I thought any deserved it." She grabbed Xenia's sidearm before the Kuvasz could react, shot both Jerry and Xenia in the gut, rolled, ducked, and made a mad dash for the fighter bay.
Clutching his wound with one hand, Jerry jabbed at the shock collar remote with the other, only to have two electrodes extend from his command chair and zap his ballchin instead.
Karen-X strapped herself into the first Xian fighter she came across, fired up the engines, and plowed through a fighter bay tech as she took off. She used the jump drive while still inside the bay to make a brief Hyperspace hop to open space, and began broadcasting "Do not fire Do not fire, I am a friendly." on all frequencies as she headed for Excalibur.
...........
Excalibur, Gunner." Sarah said. "Tally one Xian fighter inbound. Bogie claims non-beligerence."
"Confirmed Excalibur." Tom said. "Bogie just wasted three Xian fighters trying to intercept."
"Gunner, Excalibur." Maya said. "Give that pilot sum cover, an' escort 'er in." Maya recognized Karen's voice anywhere, and since Karen was in the transporter room, Maya knew this must be the other Karen she'd met in her encounter with the alternate reality.
"Wilco Excalibur." Gunner replied. "You heard the Admiral, punch it." she told her wingmen.
..............
Unfortunately neither Xenia nor Jerry's wounds had been fatal, but then, that was Karen-X's intention. Se wanted them to live with the shame of having everything being taken from them. Left to wander the galaxies, the last survivors of the Xian race. Well Xenia wasn't Xian, but given her thirst for power, she might as well have been.
Destroyer closed in on the fleet, reaching weapons range just as Karen-X landed safely aboard the merc ship, Excalibur.
"Open a channel." Jerry said.
"Done sir." Came the reply.
"Well well." Jery said, as an image of Admiral Maya in Excalibur's command chair appeared on the screen. "Admiral Maya, we meet at last. "You've caused me a good deal of trouble these past fer years, Admiral."
"King Jerry." Maya replied. "Yer war's over. Yer fleet's in ruin an' yer homeworld's uninhabitable. surrender yerself an' yer ship, an' Ah might be lenient."
"You are the one that will surrender, Admiral. As King of the Glorious Planet X, I'm placing you and your fleet under arrest for genocide. Shut down your engines and prepare to be boarded."
Maya got up, dropped her pants, and mooned him. "Kiss mah furry white ass." Maya said. She ripped a big noisy fart before pulling her pants back up and sitting back down. Then motioned for Erika to close the comm.
"Callie, make that ship go away." she added.
"With pleasure, Admiral." Callie replied. An instant later, she brought the ships autocannons to bear on the massive Xian vessel.
An instant later, the other ships followed suit. They were throwing everything the had at the Xians, but the shields held firm.
...........
XSS Destroyer.
"Fire the particle beam cannon." Jerry said. "Target Maya's bridge."
Yes sir." the tactical officer replied. He pulled the trigger, but instead of firing, their entire weapons grid overloaded, and their shields failed.
"Weapons and shields offline sir." the tactical officer replied.
.............
With the shields down, the fleet did heavy damage to Destroyer before Jerry gave the order to withdraw.
Maya set about mopping up the last few Xian fighters, while escape pods and cockpit modules were recovered, as well as bodies, and then once all fighters and support craft were back aboard their respective ships, the fleet limped into hyperspace. The planet where they would make repairs once a little over 30 hours away, would take them a week at this speed.
...........
With what was left of the fleet back in hyperspace, and things starting to wind down, the final casualty reports had been confirmed. Melanie whose injuries had been too severe, passed on during the night with Sarah, Kelly, Tom, Hank, Danny, Yaolin, and Yuri at her bedisde. her death had brought the final tally to 600.
Kelly, Danny, Yuri, and Yaolin had returned to their ships shortly after Doc Natalie had confirmed the bad news.
Many of the crew had started a wall of remembrance in the enormous mess hall, honoring the six hundred, humans and mammilians alike, who had made the ultimate sacrifice for the fleet. Photos and personnel files were tacked to the wall for all to see and remember.
Excalibur having so much room to spare, was now home to the pilots and crew of of the earthships they'd lost as well. The captain of the former CSS Louisiana had kept a skeleton crew aboard the Xian ship, but the bulk of his crew lived on Excalibur along with those of the Alabama, Stuart, and Buckner. It was quite an adjustment to put it mildly. Serving in Maya's fleet was one thing. Living aboard Excalibur was a different matter altogether. They had to adjust to the way the ship was run, and get used to other people doing the jobs they were so accustomed to. For command personnel, it was especially hard, and every day during Mess Call it never failed that someone looked for a seat at the senior staff table, only to find the table already full.
........
S' how'd y' do it?" Maya asked Karen-X. At the moment she was living in guest quarters aboard Excalibur.
"I rigged the particle beam cannon to overload the power grid." Karen-X said. "Then I reconfigured the shock collar to send a signal instead of activating, and under the guise of installing heat and massage in Jerry's command chair, I rigged a ballchin zapper to be triggered whenever he tried to use the collar. After that it was a simple matter of waiting for the right moment....and well, my experience as the Emperess' Galaxy Commander paid off."
"Glad t' hear it." Maya said.
"Admiral...That ship...The Xians built it, but its my design.... I know you've already got your Karen here...but with two of us working together, we can have this ship better than new. Assuming your engineer allows it."
"Mah Tina won' have a problem with it." Maya said. "She's prideful shure, but she ain't pigheaded lahk the one from yer Excalibur."
"In that case, you'll have the power to take on Destroyer head-on when we're finished. What do you think will become of them, anyway."
"Ah reckon they'll become mercs lahk us." Maya said. " 'Er pirates if'n they caint git no good contracts. Either way Ah doubt we seen the last a' them."
"Yeah." Karen agreed. "I was talking to your Karen earlier, and she offered me a job on Earth, running AMD in her place so she can effectively be in two places at once."
"Ah thank y'd be good at it." Maya said. "Ah thought ya's gonna serve aboard the Jefferson Davis though."
"For the trip back to Earth, yes." Karen-X said. "Then while you're collecting your pay I'll take my place in the AMD mansion."
"Sounds good t' me." Maya agreed.
Karen-X pulled Maya into a deeply passionate kiss, after which she said. "You don't know how long I've wanted to do that, Admiral. With the Emperess it was just sex, no feeling to it. I /wanted/ to love her...but I couldn't. The cruel things she did...Having my inventions perverted into torture devices...She loved me in her own sick twisted way, but as much as I wanted to I couldn't feel love for someone so tyrannical."
"Ah'm not her." Maya said, squeezing Karen-X's rump playfully. "Yer not mah plaything, Cabin girl, slave, er anythang lahk that."
"I know, Admiral." Karen-X said. "I am nobody's slave. Not anymore...I dont want you to do this out of pity or because you think you owe me for her treatment....but just this once I'd like to share a perfect moment with you... to know what love feels like when its real and no torture is involved."
"Ah never had sex with a Galaxy Commander 'fore." Maya said playfully, undressing as she spoke.
"Never been with a Merc myself." Karen-X said. She got up to lock the door, then proceeded to strip off her clothes as well, before joining Maya on the bed.
Unlike her Karen, Maya noticed that Karen-X had a clitoral fossa ring through the point of her (Y) and the canid word for 'food' around the fleshy ring of her canine anus, as well as 'drink' on her (Y).
When Maya asked about it, Karen said. "As I said in her own sick way the Emperess loved me. She ''worshipped'' my body by making her mouth my toilet, and filling my cabin with lavish accomodations. But I would have traded it all from the start, for just one night with you."
............
More to come in the next chapter.
