Establishing Control

Prior to the renewed dominance of the Serevokin people, the sight of one of the naked draconics as he stalked through the streets and markets of the lesser species would have been met with violence. It was more than likely that the violence would be swiftly averted with a healthy dose of the scaled male's mind-altering musk, but the intent would have been there all the same, however briefly. In Astikoraanna though, where Aliastikora had established the rule of the Serevokin Alliance, it was accepted. Those small tribes that refused to join the alliance and offer up their males for breeding by the draconics still bore resentment towards the Serevokin; Astikoraanna was one of few places the Serevokin could move about in safety.

That was probably why the two draconic males whom Tyren and Silikaerati followed showed no interest in watching their backs. The black-furred vulpine and red-scaled Serevokin stuck to the bushes and trees of the great central garden, their motions quiet as they slinked along behind their targets. The moonlight shone down over the black and green-scaled males that the couple had overheard, and the occasional arcane torch shed their unnaturally still yellow light over the foliage.

Hashrah. That was what one of the two Serevokin had said. Tyren had been the one to first overhear them, but it was Kaer who truly understood the implication. Illegal to keep, the harems of breeder toys enjoyed by the old Serevokin order were symbols of another time. In that time, the Serevokin had almost become extinct. If there were Serevokin in the city of Astikoraanna that kept such harems, then the city guardians needed to be informed. It flew in the face of everything that the old draconic who had established the Serevokin Alliance had set in place.

Kaer glanced from time to time over at the equally naked Tyren. The vulpine had come to him in the night, drawn to the gardens and the Serevokin within it. He'd agreed to become the breeder mate of the young, red Serevokin. Kaer didn't know Tyren in the slightest. They had met, he had mated the young fox, and then they had overheard the plans of the other Serevokin. The draconic's seed was likely already at work within Tyren's body, changing it inside in both little and more drastic ways to ensure that he could safely bear Kaer's progeny. In the times of old, any number of odd concoctions would have been used to ensure the health and safety of the breeder male during their pregnancy. The Rite that took place before all more modern Serevokin breedings passed on some of the draconic's powerful ability to heal, and it ensured that all matings went much more smoothly. It also helped to ensure that every mating ensured impregnation.

A twinge of concern raced through Kaer's mind, as he and Tyren slipped from around a bush to dart across a small clearing and into the city proper. The fox was his first breeder male, and the position was one of respect. Kaer knew that in time he would have other males come to him, but they were simply for the breeding. The first male - the one with whom a Serevokin shared The Rite - was a special one. They remained together for as long as the Serevokin's life lasted, and due to their short lifespan it was unusual for one of the lesser races to die before them. Once the Serevokin passed away, their first mate was marked with a brand upon their forehead and chest and never again was the focus on Serevokin attention. They were the Survivors, widows who were never bred again out of respect for the bond they forged over the years with their mate.

But if the two Serevokin that Kaer and his mate chased through the garden were involved in keeping hashrah, then they could be in greater danger than Tyren understood. If it came down to a confrontation or if they were discovered, then Tyren could easily be killed by one of the other, more powerful males. Despite how they had met and that they had little time to build upon their relationship, Kaer felt fear for the well-being of his mate. Part of it stemmed from the life that he knew was growing within the vulpine's body, but still more came from the vulpine himself. Tyren had piqued Kaer's interest, and he was not about to see his fox come to any harm.

As Kaer had suspected while they were in the garden, the two Serevokin had headed towards the sector of the city dedicated to the Linorika tigers in the east. Kaer felt surprised despite his vindicated assumption. If the Serevokin they'd heard were indeed keeping hashrah, then it would be much safer to keep them near the Serevokin sector of the city, in the north. In the shadow of the Serevokin Citadel, they would be far more likely to be undetected by the lesser races. As Tyren and Kaer darted between buildings and tried to keep an eye on their quarry, it only made the draconic wonder exactly why they would want to go to the tigers.

The truth became apparent soon after the Serevokin duo headed down a small back alley. Kaer waved Tyren back as he leaned just barely around the corner, and his keen eyes scanned the dark passage for a moment before he caught the two shadowy forms. The image was fleeting; they vanished a short ways down the alley into a building. When silence reigned over the alley for a few more moments, Kaer followed after them at a brisk jog. He heard Tyren's footpaws on the stone ground behind him as he slid to a halt in front of where he'd seen the pair enter the building. There was no doorway though, no window or any other point of entry. The entire back side of the building was flat but cracked with stress. "This makes no sense," he muttered, as he ran his taloned fingers up and over the chipped stone. "I saw them, I swear it. They entered... right here. And yet..."

"And yet there is no door," the vulpine finished. As the draconic male started to rub over the wall in an effort to find the truth of things, Tyren kept his eyes on the ends of the alleyway. "There have been rumours for years, you know. Probably longer than you've been alive, actually." The fox glanced back over at Kaer. "They say that the people that leave the city don't actually leave. They say that they're rounded up and taken by some Serevokin who don't believe in the new ways. They even say-"

"Ah!" The fox's speech was broken off by Kaer's triumphant sound, and Tyren turned in time to see a portion of the cracked wall slide away. A slight glow emanated from within the room, and it lit up a wooden staircase that spiralled down under the floor. "But I expected a room... a home, or something to that effect. Not... this." He glanced back at Tyren. "We Serevokin make our breeding dens under our homes. That is why they are so small; most of the room is beneath the ground." He nodded to the staircase. "Linorika hate to be underground. They would not construct such a room."

Tyren nodded once as he tried to peer down the stairs, but only blackness stared back at him. "Well, we found where those two Serevokin were headed, then," he slowly said. "Is this enough? Can we bring this to the guardians at the Citadel?"

Kaer considered the option for a moment. It would be enough to warrant a search, yes, but only if the Linorika condoned it. If they didn't - or if the Linorika who would were under the sway of rogue Serevokin - then there would be no search. They needed more evidence. "No," he finally replied as he stepped inside the building and paused at the top of the stairs. "No, we need to go down. We need to see more before we act." He glanced up at the fox. "Return to your home, Tyren. Meet me in the garden at noon, where we met, and we will-"

"I will do no such thing," the fox interrupted as he strode up to Kaer's side. "If whatever's going on is dangerous enough for you to send me away, it's too dangerous for you to do alone. I'll come with you." He rolled his shoulders a little as he folded his arms. "Besides, I'm your mate now, yes? We are not meant to be separated so soon after The Rite. You won't change my mind, Kaer. Not without wiping it first, and I already know you wouldn't do that. So you're stuck with me."

A slight smile spread across Kaer's features, and the draconic nodded once before he turned his attention back to the stairs. If the fox was that determined, then it would be interesting for the Serevokin to see exactly how far he was willing to go. He began to slowly and carefully head down the stairs, the light gradually swallowed up by the depth of the passage. In short order, even the enhanced sight of the Serevokin wasn't enough for Kaer to see where he was going. He was forced to make his way down on feel alone, and it was just before that point that he felt Tyren gently grasp at his scaled tail to help him find his own way.

Eventually though a point of light grew brighter beneath them. The shadows were lifted, and at the bottom of the stairs stretched a short hallway. Several arched doorways dotted along the rocky walls presumably led off to other rooms, but directly ahead and at the end of the hall was a taller, wider and opened door. The vulpine paws on Kaer's tail released their grip, and the Serevokin silently made his way to the edge of the doorway. He took a breath and steeled himself before he leaned out carefully to take a look. The view beyond was far less spectacular than he'd expected; stone pillars rose out of the ground and into the ceiling, and a chest-high partition before a corridor just inside shielded the rest of the room from view. He frowned as he turned to wave Tyren back for a moment.

It was when Kaer slunk over and behind that partition that he found himself witness to a much more interesting sight. His eyes widened as he glanced up and over the wall, into the room below and the bodies within it, as the scents of sex and musk and rut hit him like a brick. A series of beds were lined up against the opposite wall on the lower floor, and a variety of males lay atop them. While those males were asleep - Kaer thought most of them exhausted, as his eyes drifted over their damp, seed-sticky backsides - the ones in the center of the room were very much awake.

The black-scaled Serevokin male that he and Kaer had chased sat in a tall, finely-carved wooden chair. A pair of Lissak vulpines crouched at his side, and their paws played gently up and down over his hips and legs. A Linorika feline knelt between those legs, and the male's back was to Kaer as he lapped gently up and down along the draconic's fully exposed shaft. Each of the three lesser males sported fully hard malehoods of their own. The room was flooded with Serevokin musk, that powerful, mind-dominating scent that each of the draconics produced and that Kaer had detected when he'd entered. Immediately, he felt himself glad that Serevokin were immune to their own musk. If it weren't the case, he would have become a thrall of that black draconic the moment he'd set foot in the room.

It didn't control his mind, but Kaer was still affected by the scent. It was at the core of Serevokin sex; the room reeked of arousal and need and spent desires. He felt his own length stir, though he willed the urges out of his mind as he focused his gaze on the green-scaled male. He'd begun to pace back and forth, hands clasped behind his back before he finally turned to the black Serevokin. "You try my patience, Soka" he growled, and the sound caused the first draconic to glance sharply up at him. "Pleasure yourself with your hashrah all you like; but the master ordered me to take one. A test." He waved a taloned hand towards the sleeping forms. "Wake one. Now."

With a grunt and a roll of his eyes, Soka twisted about in his chair and raised his voice. "Dosaan! Rise, pet. Tekar has a purpose for your body, and you will obey." As he spoke, one of the Linorika males on the bed snapped awake and sat up. The tiger's blue eyes fixed on Soka's as his orders were issued, and he bowed his head before he silently slipped off the bed and approached the green-scaled Tekar. "Dosaan has yet to be bred since his last birthing, but his mind is wiped anew. You had best return him to me when you are done, Tekar."

As Tekar snorted and watched the feline move towards him, a flicker of motion out of the corner of Kaer's eye caught his attention. He whirled about with the expectation of another Serevokin, but found instead Tyren. The fox slipped over to the partition to crouch beside Kaer, and he froze up as he opened his muzzle. A wince spread across the draconic's face as he watched the vulpine exhale slowly through a soft murr. Kaer's pheromones were the ones that had filtered through Tyren's mind first, and only those pheromones would command the fox's thoughts until the time that he gave birth. That the draconics below couldn't manipulate his mental state wasn't a problem for Kaer; he was more concerned with the manipulation of his physical state.

Tyren pressed tightly into the red-scaled male's side as he groaned softly, and his eyes lidded as his ears tipped lightly back. His sheath had begun to swell, and the tip of his malehood started to emerge into the thick, musky air. "Kaer... I'm sorry, but I... I need... I need..."

A shiver ran through Kaer's body as he tried to look up and over the partition again. He needed to focus, to keep his eyes and ears open in case he could catch anything of interest below. Already he could see that he'd missed something; the feline named Dosaan had bent down to set some sort of glass down on the ground. Traces of a green fluid remained within it, but Kaer's gaze shifted back up to the feline as soon as he noticed the Serevokin behind him grasp at his hips. A tingle stirred in Kaer's own loins, and his tip began to slip free of his slit as he watched the draconic below him grind into the tiger's offered backside. Dosaan shuddered and moaned, and his legs spread out wide as Tekar pushed the tip of an impressive large length of flesh against the feline's tailhole.

Kaer's eyes widened and he ducked his head back down behind the partition as he felt something warm and damp wrap around the tip of his own malehood. A quick turn of his eyes beneath him showed how Tyren had slipped between the wall and the draconic, and the fox's eyes were intently closed as his muzzle sank down along that still-emerging length. Kaer bit his lower lip in an effort to keep silent, and fought to keep his eyes from rolling. At least if the fox was down there, he might find his musk-driven needs sated. Furthermore, his filled muzzle was more likely to keep him quiet. Lissak were known to be vocal breeders when completely lust-drunk.

It took a moment for Kaer to bring his gaze back up and over the partition again. It was drawn down again and again to the vulpine beneath him, and the slow bobbing of that shadowy, black-furred head as it worked back and forth along his shaft. He was quickly coaxed to full hardness by the hungry male's efforts, and every drag of those tightly-pressed lips as they ran up or down over his sensitive flesh threatened to expose Kaer's location with a heady moan. He bit his tongue though, even as Tyren's wriggled and lapped all over his ridged malehood.

The musk in the air grew with intensity as a sharp gasp drew Kaer's attention fully back down to the room below. He watched as Tekar ground himself firmly up against his captive feline's backside, before his hands closed tightly around Dosaan's hips. Effortlessly, he picked up the tiger and turned him around, only to take a couple steps forward and push the surprised male hard up against the wall. Dosaan didn't seem to mind in the slightest, though; Kaer caught a glimpse of the feline's firm malehood as it was pressed against the cool, smooth stone wall.

A quiet grunt escaped Kaer, lost beneath the impassioned sounds that rose from the room below. The fox beneath him was well and truly gone, lost to the overwhelming drive to pleasure his mate brought on by those powerful pheromones. Tyren slurped his way up and down along that draconic shaft as though he were dying of thirst, desperate to taste the seed of his mate as it splattered across his tongue. The fox's own length jutted up proudly from his lap as he leaned back against the partition, and a steady stream of pre trickled down and over his length to mat the fur of his sheath. Both of his paws grasped at Kaer's thighs, and his tight grip prevented the draconic above from escaping even if he'd wanted to.

And so Kaer remained trapped, his hips forced desperately to stillness as he turned his gaze between the two Serevokin below. All the care that he himself had shown Tyren when the two had mated earlier was absent from the display of the green draconic. Tekar's claws dug into Dosaan's sides hard enough to draw blood, and his firm grip and rough thrusts kept the tiger pressed firmly up against that wall. Kaer watched that ridged draconic shaft slide down into the feline's body again and again, watched the tiger's tailhole stretched out around every inch as it was plunged into his depths. There was no care or reverence in the breeding. There was the Serevokin's pleasure - the Serevokin's control - and little more.

The red-scaled draconic's hips began to twitch as Tyren's tongue began to curl and wrap around his shaft. Kaer fought the urge to glance down, and instead turned his attention quickly to the black-scaled Serevokin. Soka's head continued to lean back, his eyes closed as his pets showered his malehood with their attention. The vulpines and the feline that knelt around him didn't fight or try to steal their master's attention. They were simply dedicated to their task, and they stroked reverently over the draconic's body as their tongues lapped up and down over his shaft.

The view in the room below was too much for Kaer to resist, mixed with the attention of his fox's muzzle and the thick musk pervading the air. One of his hands slipped down to rest on the top of Tyren's head, and he curled his fingers into the vulpine's headfur as he pulled his mate's face firmly down into a hard, deep thrust. A chocked-off moan of approval sounded from beneath Kaer before Tyren's muzzle was completely filled, and the dragon released a quiet purr of pleasure as he felt every inch of his considerable shaft stuffed into the too-small muzzle of the fox. The tip was squeezed and massaged by Tyren's gulps around it as the Serevokin held himself there for a moment, but the rapid wags of the vulpine's tail was more than enough proof that he would keep swallowing until his draconic mate made him stop. That his nose was pressed against his mate's richly-scented genital slit only enticed him further.

Only when the sounds of Tyren's efforts became louder did Kaer draw himself back again, and he shuddered as he felt the fox's teeth graze lightly across the ridges of his shaft. He quickly ducked his head back down beneath the partition as he bit his tongue, stifling his groan. He needn't have bothered; a heady moan from Tekar would have drowned it out. Kaer took a moment to pant softly as Tyren resumed his eager licking and slurping up and down, before he lifted his head to glance back over again.

Soka's length glistened in the firelight as his slick pre-fluids ran down over his shaft, only to be cleaned away quickly by the hungry muzzles and tongues of the pets at his feet. Quiet, barely audible whimpers and whines rose from their muzzles when they drew back from that musky object of their affections, its scent only instilling greater and greater need as time went on. Kaer's eyes focused for a moment on the vulpines and the feline that knelt before the Serevokin, and noticed for the first time that their paws had become a tangled mess between their legs. Faces pressed eagerly up against the black draconic's malehood, each of them desperately grasped at the lengths of their fellow breeder toys and pumped hard and fast.

Tekar paid them no mind. The green Serevokin's attention was fully focused on his harsh thrusts into Dosaan's backside. The tiger whimpered and mewled as he was pushed up against the wall over and over again, rammed into the stone with every slam of the Serevokin's hips against his rump. That thick, draconic length only seemed to slide in and out faster as time progressed, driven onwards by a cascade of pleasure that ran through the scaled male's body. The feline's legs slid further apart and his forehead pressed up against the wall as he was vigorously bred, held up only by Tekar's firm grip on his body. Dosaan didn't complain, though. He couldn't; all that he was had been given to the Serevokin to take as he pleased, and any trace of discomfort or pain was washed away beneath a firetide of intense, pheromone-driven pleasure.

Kaer's own hips rolled as he watched, unable to help himself. He thrust into Tyren's muzzle slowly at first, and the smaller fox was all too happy to lean up and bob his head just a little faster along that pulsing length of flesh. But as Tekar's thrusts grew more frenzied and Soka brought the heads of both vulpines down against the side of his own length, Kaer found his hips rapidly moving out of his control again. He humped faster and faster, and his shaft throbbed between Tyren's lips as hot spurts of his pre began to sate the lustful vulpine's thirst. Pretty soon, Tyren stopped moving entirely. He simply pressed his lips down and around his mate's length, and he moaned softly around his filled mouth as he gave himself up to his draconic's desires.

Out of the corner of his eye, Kaer caught sight of Soka's head as it lowered again. His hands slipped down to the tiger's head, and the draconic said something that Kaer couldn't hear. He shivered as he watched the tiger nod and shuffle closer, only to engulf every last inch of the black Serevokin's malehood within his mouth. Soka's head lolled back once more, and Kaer's eyes focused on the curl of the black draconic's fingers as they tightened against the back of the feline's head. Even as the Linorika tried to bob his head along his master's shaft, Soka simply began to hump up hard and fast into his muzzle. He thrust with all the intensity he might use to breed the tiger's backside, and quiet growls and groans of content began to emerge from his own muzzle as he bred his toy's face.

The overpowering scents in the air, the warmth of the fox's muzzle and the sights before him were too much for Kaer to handle for long, and he knew it. He felt that familiar tingle surge through his loins, sparks of pleasure that heralded something much, much greater. It looked like he wasn't the only one; Tekar's hips had slowed down slightly, but they slapped against the tiger's rump with even greater force. The green Serevokin drove his shaft as hard and deep into his toy's body as he could, as eager to feel every inch of his malehood wrapped up in the heat of the feline beneath him as the feline was to feel the surge of that fertile, powerful draconic seed planted deep within him. The green draconic was on the edge, and Kaer knew he was right behind.

And then it happened. Tekar arched his back as his eyes squeezed shut, and he drew back until only his tip rested within Dosaan's backside. Then he roared loud and deep, and thrust in one final time with all his strength. Kaer saw the draconic's ridges flare as his breath caught in his throat, and watched as those ridges disappeared inside the tiger's clenching rump one after another. Soft moans and whimpers of approval and encouragement and lust-drunk need came from the feline as he pushed himself back as hard as he could into Tekar's thrust, ensuring that the spurting Serevokin shaft would deliver its load into his innermost reaches. Even as he was filled, the toy's malehood began to soak the wall with short, hard pulses of his own seed.

It was more than enough for Kaer to be coaxed over his own edge. His chin fell to rest atop the partition, and his tongue lolled out of his muzzle as his hips stilled at last. The tingle coursing through Kaer's malehood set him shuddering as he reached the point of no return, and his shaft twitched and throbbed firmly between Tyren's lips as his ridges flared up and against the fox's teeth. The Serevokin fought to keep himself silent, and he almost bit his tongue as the first pulse of his seed shot across the vulpine's tongue. A brief gurgle of surprise rose up from beneath Kaer, but it was quickly silenced as the draconic's hand drew Tyren's head further down along his erupting malehood. Any sound of protest was drowned out by the sound of the fox hungrily gulping down every spurt as it was provided, and Kaer's whole body trembled as he desperately worked to keep himself silent.

Finally - almost mercifully - the draconic's climax tapered off. The flood of his fluids slowed down, left to a trickle as his nostrils flared for breath through the musk-thick air. Kaer forced his breathing to slow as he pulled his head back up and over the partition. No sooner than he had done so than he saw that the tiger between Soka's legs had been pushed down and away, the reward for his hungry servicing of his master visible on his white-stained lips before they were licked clean. "So, Tekar. Did Dosaan meet your expectations?"

Tekar offered no immediate reply, and Kaer fought back a shiver of pleasure as he felt Tyren's tongue continue to lap slowly up and down his spent shaft. Instead, the green-scaled draconic spent a few more moments wrapped up in the warmth of the feline beneath him. He ground against that raised backside for a second longer before he drew back, and he growled and pushed down on the tiger's back as Dosaan tried to rise as well. "Down, toy," he snarled. The tiger sprawled with a whimper to the ground, before Tekar gave Dosaan a shove against the wall with one foot and turned his gaze up to Soka. "He is alive, if somewhat ignorant of his place. Time will tell if he remains that way, but... this concoction seems to not be lethal. Prior tests... the lesser were killed before the breeding even was finished."

Tyren must have overheard something, because Tekar's words seemed to snap him out of his lazy licking. The fox pressed back against the partition, one ear perked up as Kaer slipped back down until only his eyes peered over the top. A brief glance down at Tyren showed him with a clean face - the fox hadn't let a drop of his mate's fluids go to waste - but with a still-hard shaft that throbbed with need. It seemed though that with a muzzle filled with Serevokin seed, the vulpine was able to resist his needs somewhat. "Then what do we do now, hmm?" Soka asked, as the two vulpines from earlier returned to his side to resume their gentle strokes over their master's sides. "Do we wait to see if the master's efforts result in the death of one of my hashrah? And if so, how long do I have to wait before Dosaan need be replaced?"

The green Serevokin just snorted as he glanced back down at the feline beneath him, one of his hands pressed against the tiger's back hard enough to keep him flat against the floor. "If the master's plan works the way we expect it to, then you can keep the largest hashrah of any Serevokin alive today," he replied, and Kaer heard a hint of a frustrated growl in his voice. "We will not need the lesser races for much more than entertainment after all is done... and no, we need not wait. I will return to the Citadel now, and inform the master of our success." With that, Tekar released Dosaan and turned back towards the steps up - the same steps that led to Kaer and Tyren.

Kaer ducked back before Tekar saw him, and the draconic's mind raced as he looked over their options. The balcony above the room that the breeder males were taken in had only one exit, and they would be spotted if they made a break for it. Just before Tekar came into view though, Tyren found a solution. He pushed Kaer down hard onto his back and dove atop him, his grip on the draconic's body surprisingly strong as he forced both bodies to still even as he shuddered at the sensation of his length grinding against Kaer's smooth scales. Cloaked in the shadows of the partition, Tekar walked right on by without so much a glance to his side.

For a few seconds, Tyren kept his weight atop Kaer's body. His dark fur kept them hidden, but Soka never came up the steps after his satisfied friend. Instead, the couple heard the telltale slurping of a muzzle along a male's shaft, and a quick glance up and over the balcony again showed that both foxes muzzles had come to rest in the draconic's lap. Soka's head lolled back as he murred his approval, one hand on the back of each pet's head as they noisily licked and sucked over his flesh.

When Tyren slipped back down again, Kaer began to worm his way free from beneath the fox's weight. "This is bad," he whispered. After all their efforts to remain hidden, he didn't want a raised voice to give them away.

"Which part?" Tyren asked as he licked slowly over his lips. "And I'm sorry, but we have to get out of here soon. That Serevokin is starting again, and unless you want me jumping on you like I had to... sorry again..." He glanced down at his lap, and wrapped a single paw tightly around his malehood, just above a fully engorged knot. "Should I take care of this now, or...?"

Kaer simply shook his head and waved Tyren towards the door. The fox nodded and slunk out quickly, and Kaer only tossed Soka a cursory glance to make sure the black Serevokin was distracted before he too escaped the room. He kept his silence though until he and Tyren were both at the spiral staircase, and he sighed as he started to head up it. "You couldn't help yourself, I know," he replied, still in a whisper. "It is part of why I preferred the thought of you staying away from this. And as for your question... all of it is bad." He glanced back as Tyren grasped at his tail again, to lead him up the dark stairs. "Whatever this 'concoction' that Tekar spoke of, it has already cost beings their lives. We need to find out what it is, and we need to report this to someone in power."

Tyren nodded. His fingertips squeezed gently at the smooth tail in his paws as he felt the fog around his mind begin to lift, and the need that kept his sheath warm began to fade away again. His shaft however remained stubbornly erect, and the fox found himself unwilling to release it from his other paw's grasp. "But they mentioned their master at the Citadel..."

"Which is the real reason this is bad," Kaer muttered. "If Serevokin in powerful positions here are involved, then this could become very, very dangerous. If it was just a couple Serevokin with hashrah, then we could be attacked by them at worst. But if this is organized and goes beyond a few isolated Serevokin..." He shrugged. It didn't bear thinking about just yet; they needed to know more, but there was little they could do on their own.

"And what are we going to do about it now?" asked Tyren, as they broke into the light of the building again. "I mean... besides finish me off, I hope..."

Kaer's gait slowed for a second as he considered a few different possibilities, and forced the thoughts of a very needy mate out of his mind. "We still do not know how many Serevokin are involved in this," he slowly replied. "To that end, there are none we could truly trust. Not without intimate knowledge of them, at any rate." He took a quiet breath and exhaled it in a hiss. "Luckily, there is just such a one.

"Come, Tyren. We will go to see my brotherkin. He will know what to do."

And this here marks the end of the second chapter of Kaer and Tyren's story! The plot thickens, as does the sheath! A lot's been packed into Establishing Control, but there's still two more stories left to come! You'll have to wait a week to see what happens next, though; gotta breed suspense somehow! So leave comments, gimme a score and a fav if you really liked it, and let me know your feelings on this!

Keep your eyes peeled, furballs! See you in a week with the next installation in the series, Citadel's Secrets!
