#8 of Dad Camp

A murder in Dad Camp!? Say it isn't so? Just what the hell is going on? Elliot is so confused and does his best to help! Will they figure out the mystery at hand?

After the initial shock, Pascal hopped up onto the table next to Elric's body. He was dressed as a police officer. Standing next to him was the meerkat with the megaphone and a gecko, both of which were also dressed in police uniforms. Everyone groaned.

"Good morning gumshoes!" Pascal called out to them, "As you can see! Someone has murdered Elric!"

"It's up to each cabin to try and solve the mystery first!" shouted the meerkat.

"All around the camp are fifty different clues that can lead you to finding out who did it," shouted the gecko, "There are exactly fifteen sheets in each location, one for each cabin. If you follow all the clues exactly, they'll reveal the location of where the murderer is located!"

"The clues aren't easy though," said Pascal, "Only ten of them are correct! You'll need to use some wit about yourselves to figure it out!"

"As always," said Elric, breaking character as he leaned up on his elbows, "The winners get a night in the luxury cabin!"

"You all have until five this evening to find the murderer!" Pascal said, "On your cabin doors, we have tacked the first clues! You're looking for a clue within the clues to find the location of the murderer, nothing more! You'll also need to present to us at least ten of your clues to give a valid guess."

"Good luck gumshoes!" the meerkat yelled into his megaphone.

"I'm going to strangle them," said Allen as he rubbed his eyes.

"I suppose we should go get our first clue," Elliot suggested.

"Lets," said Allen, "Cause if we win, I'm going to punish the hell out of Pascal for waking us up this early and shocking the hell out of us."

Elliot and Luke laughed at him. They followed the wolf up to their cabin. Allen pulled the piece of paper tacked to the door. He huffed as he read it over. He passed it over to Elliot, "Can we get a few more hours of sleep first?"

Elliot read it out loud, "He who treads up from sleep, will find grounds hot and deep, beneath the cans you will find, a clue worth your time."

"N...not exactly the b..best rhyme," Luke laughed, "B...babe, why don't you get some more sleep. I t...think El and I c...can handle this."

"Mmm..ok," said Allen, hugging the rat and giving him a kiss, "I'll catch up with you guys when my beauty sleep is finished." Allen went back into the cabin to crash.

"I guess we're getting coffee," Elliot chuckled, "I hope it's ready considering the kitchens not open yet."

"T...that would b...be terribly evil if they had us search the coffee w...with no r....reward," said Luke.

Sure enough, the coffee was in fact ready. Under the cans was a stack of paper. There were already two teams standing there and reading the clue. Elliot and Luke got coffee first before grabbing their clue.

"Helmut," said a tiger, "This can be two places..."

"I know," said a very tired looking ibex, "Should we split up, or go with a gut feeling?"

"Do you think we'd be able to guess right if we had the wrong clues?" asked the tiger.

"It's too early for this Sterling," said Helmut, "Just pick an option, and we'll go with it."

Sterling nodded as he grabbed one of the coffee canteens, "We'll do one at a time and go with our gut feeling." The tiger filled up their canteen. Helmut raised his cup to the gathered groups as they left.

Elliot stared down at the clue. It was more confusing this time, "Reach for the stars, lay upon your back, search for the demolition rack, empty out what you thought was real, watch your step from all the banana peels.... What does this even mean?!"

Luke laughed, "G...good thing I'm here. T...there's two old mines up in the m...mountains. They s...still have the demolition b..boxes there. A..and t...they never found much of anything in them, s...so they emptied a mountain for w...what they thought would be r...riches. I...I'm b...betting they left clues at both. N...not sure what's meant by b...banana peels though."

"Probably Pascals power snack," Elliot laughed.

Luke grabbed a canteen of coffee just as Sterling did, "I g...guess we're doing some hiking. W...we should grab a day p...pack since they have protein b...bars."

"Good thinking," Elliot went up to reception with Luke. Sure enough, there were fourteen day packs left on the front counter. A sign said everybody gets one. Elliot threw the pack around his shoulders as him and Luke set off. The sun had started to slowly rise giving the camp the hazy glow of summer mornings.

Elliot took his shirt off as they hiked up the mountain side and stuffed it into his pack. Luke had taken the lead up the trails. He stopped at a crossways.

"K...knowing the B...Beasts, they p...probably went for the one f...furthest away," said Luke as he looked up and down the trails, "T...this way."

Luke led them to the right. The trail became more treacherous as it led up several cliff faces. Elliot sighed as he had trouble pulling himself up in certain spots. Luke did his best to help him lift up. Once they got to the top of several cliff heavy spots, Elliot flopped down onto his back.

"Ok," Elliot chuckled, "I'm getting more exercise after this to trim this gut down."

Luke laughed, "Aww, b...but it's cute."

Elliot blushed and grinned. He took a quick smoke break while they rested up for a few minutes. They continued their path on the way to the mine. A large cave with old railroad tracks loomed into view. There were voices coming from within the cave.

"That would be eerie if this wasn't a scavenger hunt," Elliot laughed.

Luke pulled the flashlight from their pack and turned it on. They started to walk down into the mine. The rat led them down as the shaft started to shrink in size. He suddenly started to slip downwards. Luke turned and grab onto Elliot, causing him to land down on his ass as they started to slide down further into the mine.

Luke laughed, "T...they d...did warn us about banana p...peels!"

"Cave algae hardly qualifies for bananas!" said Elliot as he stood up and brushed his butt off.

"Come on," said Luke as he led them further in.

"Ahh, competition," said Helmut as he shone his light on them, "I guess we weren't the only ones to walk this far."

Elliot chuckled, "Have you guys found the clue?"

Helmut pointed upwards. Sterling was climbing up the rock face towards a set of boxes. On top of one of the boxes was a stack of papers.

"Mind getting us one?" Elliot called up to him.

The tiger laughed, "Only if I get a blowjob when I get back down."

"I don't think it's worth that much to me," Elliot shot back.

Sterling laughed. Luke jumped up on the rock face. He was rather nimble as he shot up the rock face. He passed Sterling on his way up.

"Are you kidding me?" Sterling growled.

Luke hopped over the top of the cliff face and grabbed one of the clues. He began his decent as Sterling had reached the top. Luke dropped onto the ground and ran up to Elliot.

"C...come on!" he laughed as he dragged the lion towards the exit of the cave.

The slippery slope that they'd slid down proved quite difficult to get back up. The floor near the walls were less slick so it was slow going for them to ascend up and out. The sound of cicadas greeted them as they exited the mine.

Elliot held up the clue, "North of the lake you go, travel near and far with a bro, down the river and through the woods, the mountain throws its goods."

Luke snapped his fingers, "Waterfall!"

Elliot chuckled, "You're good at this."

Luke blushed and grinned, "I...I love puzzles and riddles."

Luke led them long ways along the mountainside to skip going back down the cliffs. Up ahead they could see several groups headed for the waterfall. Elliot wasn't sure how they caught up like that. Helmut and Sterling were already there too with the clue.

"Damn," said Elliot, "They must've run."

"T...that's alright," Luke chuckled, "One of us is b...bound to m...make a mistake."

Luke and Elliot went under the waterfall. It was the same one that he and Pascal had showered under. In the back of the overhang lay the stack of papers with a rock on top of them. Elliot pulled one out and read it out with Luke.

"Benches upon you'll sit or lay, enjoying the smells of a well worked day, that's ok, the showers are near, to cleanse your bodies clear," Elliot chuckled, "I guess we're off to the shower room."

"O...or the weight room," said Luke.

"Oh yeah," Elliot read over the clue again, hoping something would be more clear about where they needed to go.

"W...we should hurry back d...down," said Luke, "W..we've already b...burned three hours."

It took them about an hour and a half to get back down. Elliot wasn't used to this much activity. They took a quick break for him so he could massage his calves. He stretched out his feet before standing back up.

"Should we do showers or gym?" Elliot asked.

"If it's P...Pascals clue, the g...gym," Luke chuckled, "R..Roger and Red as you c...could see aren't ex...exactly b...body builders."

"We'll go for showers then," said Elliot.

"Mmm," said Luke as he thought, "I...I think the weight room. M...maybe they expected us to think showers b...because of those two."

"Hope we're right then," said Elliot.

They made their way to the rec center. They went down the hall and turned towards the weight room. Liam and his roommates were there picking up the clue.

"Hey Elliot!" shouted Liam as he waved frantically at them, "Hey Lukey! Looks like we beat you here!"

"H...hey Liam," said Luke as he pulled the clue out from under one of the free weights, "How m...many clues do you g...guys have?"

"Six!" said Liam.

The moose he was with smacked him the back of the head, "Damnit Liam, don't tell them that."

"Sorry!" Liam rubbed the back of his head.

On top of the moose's head was a mouse sitting up in one of his antlers, "It doesn't matter really. The Beasts said there were many clues, and only ten would be right. If we get a few wrong, we just have to decipher what the missing pieces are. It's anyone's game.'

"I...it's our g...game," said Luke as he looked over the clue.

"How about we compare clues and share the victory?" asked the moose.

The mouse stomped his foot against the moose's head, "No. We fight fair. Besides, I have cooler dudes to invite."

"Pfft," said Elliot, "We're cool."

"Not cool enough," Liam stuck his tongue out.

Elliot shook his head as he stepped aside with Luke to read the clue, "Evening comes and you need a snack, but be ready for an attack, the prowler roams amuck, watch out now before you get stuck."

Luke furrowed his brow as he thought this one over, "Hmm, could b...be the v..vending machine. It has the Prowler energy drinks in it."

"I guess we'll try there," said Elliot, "And maybe we can get lunch."

"G...good idea," said Luke. As they exited the rec center, Allen came running up to them.

"Where the hell did you guys go!?" Allen asked, "I've been looking all over the camp for you."

Luke chuckled, "W...we had to go up the m..mountain."

"Geez," said Allen as he hugged the rat to him, "Where we headin' now?"

"Lunch," said Elliot as his stomach growled.

They sat down for lunch and made their orders. They spread their clues out to read over them and caught Allen up. There were several other groups doing the same thing. Some had two clues, and others had up to eight.

"It seems they threw out cheap clues to make them think it's simple," said Allen as he looked around, "Although, maybe it is simple and you guys have overthinked."

"I hope not," Elliot chuckled, "We've got half the clues needed."

They continued discussing their clues as they ate lunch. Luke pointed out that each clue started out with one capital letter, and that it was probably going to be an anagram. Once they put their plates onto the dish rack they went straight towards the lobby. There were five snack machines, not one of them required paying either. Luke walked up to the energy drink machine, looking all around it.

"N...nothing..." he frowned.

"Since we're here!" Allen slapped his hand on the Prowler energy drink button, and pulled out the can. He went to pop it open but it wouldn't budge, "What the hell?"

"Oh m...man!" Luke grabbed the can and twisted the top off, "T...those c...clever b...bastards!"

Elliot took the clue and read it to them, "Inch your arms to the sky, looking for that tiny lake eye, no boat nor fare, will take you there."

"D...do you think it c...could be the lakes island?" Luke asked.

"It's worth a shot," said Allen, "Let's head down."

They made their way to the lakeside just in time to see Victor dive in. Allen went to go check the boats. Every last one was chained to shore with heavy padlocks. Keller and Jiro came over, the bat running up to hug his arms around a blushing Elliot.

"They locked all of them!" Keller cried out, "So we had to send Victor on his own!"

"I guess if they thought of the island too, we can't be too far off track," said Allen, "Be right back." The wolf took a running start as he ran up the dock and dove in. He swung his arms as fast as he could as he swam out to the island.

"That's a hell of a swim," said Elliot as he watched him go.

Victor was already on his way back. The shark climbed out of the water. He made brief hellos and goodbyes with Luke and Elliot. The three of them took off as they discussed their clue. They could see Allen pull himself up onto the island and make his way into the middle. He pulled up a piece of paper and dove back into the water. He made his way back to shore and pulled the clue out of his mouth, dripping with water and drool.

"Sorry," he huffed, "It was the best way I could think to keep it dry."

"I...it's ok babe," Luke chuckled.

"Can't you see, you belong to me," Elliot chuckled at the reference, "can't skip to the rhythm, as long as you hold with him."

"T...that's a stretch," Luke chuckled, "I'm kind of s...stumped though."

The three of them read over the clue. Allen grinned as he grabbed Luke and started dancing with him.

"W...what are you d...doing?" Luke laughed as he was swung around, "N...not that I m...mind....OOOOH!"

Allen chuckled, "Big dumb wolf figured this one out. Come on!"

Allen led them up to the rec center. They made their way down the hallway and followed the sign that said dance hall. Sterling and Helmut were just leaving.

"Better catch up boys," Helmut winked at them.

"Damn," Elliot sighed, "They've been really ahead this whole time."

"T...they still have to f...figure out t..the final answer," said Luke, "W...we at least have an i...idea."

There was some music playing up on the stage in the dance hall. A small boombox was sitting on top of a stack of papers as it played classical music. Elliot stepped up and took one.

"All around the world you have come, near and far for some, we first met here on day one, opening up a new age of fun," read Elliot as he sighed, "I swear, if we make one more circle I'm strangling Pascal."

Allen laughed, "He might like that."

Back to the cabin they went. Elliot smoked on his way back. He was surprised his feet weren't hurting from all this walking yet. He must've gotten used to it or the pain has surpassed his receptors and he's gone numb. Either way he was happy they weren't slowing them down. They entered the orientation room to find six cabin groups in there.

"Good grief," said Elliot as he walked to the front of the room. He pulled the parchment from the podium and went to the back of the room with Luke and Allen. They read over it and all three of them got stumped by this one. They left the orientation room to get someplace quieter as they read it again.

"Evermore do they rise above us, being always present and copious," Allen stared down at it with his eyes squinting, trying to force an answer out, "going forth and being tall, ill forgot should we think small."

Luke sighed as he took the paper, "I...I think they f...finally duped us."

"Could it be the mountains?" Elliot suggested, "Although there's many, but maybe they mean the tallest one?"

"They w...would be a..awful if they sent up b...back up t..the mountain again at this p...point," said Luke as he read over the clue again and again.

Elliot pondered for a moment and made another suggestion, "What if they refers to people?"

Luke chuckled, "T...that could be any of t...the c...counselors or Elric himself."

Allen suddenly gasped, "The Guardians! They rise above us! Guardians are angels, protectors and keepers. They're always here whether we see them or not, always taking care of the campground."

"But which one?" asked Elliot.

"M...maybe their cabin," Luke suggested.

"Worth a shot!" Allen wagged his tail as he led the way again. It was a short trip up the mountainside. There were eight cabins, all slightly larger than the cabins below. Each one was supposed to have the team names bolted over the top of the doors. In the middle of all of the cabins lay the names of each one. The doors instead had signs that read 'enter at your own risk'.

"Fuck," said Allen as he looked around, "I haven't been up here yet this year. It could be any of the cabins."

"L...let's split up, and search each one," said Luke.

Elliot went up the steps to one of the cabins. He opened the door. It was completely bare except for neatly made beds. He assumed it was to be used for future counselors. He closed the door and went up to the next one. His ears immediately went red.

He'd never seen so many dildoes and skimpy underwear in his life. There were toys of all sizes sitting on one of the tables. He wandered around the room looking for any indication of a clue. There wasn't much to go off of. He paused as he examined some of the toys. He shuddered as he glanced over the horse and rhino toys. Those are way too big!

Elliot sighed as he left the cabin and went into a third. Luke and Allen seemed to be taking a while in the other ones. This cabin was a bit more neat aside from a pile of used cumrags. These damn counselors were sex driven. Elliot chuckled as he came across a very lewd painting of Pascal on the wall. The wolf was posing with his cock in his hand and his tongue hanging out with his classy wink.

"He's so full of himself," Elliot laughed.

He exited the building and Luke and Allen came running up. "Got it!" said Allen, and he read it for them, ""Thank you for playing our game, hope it wasn't very lame, this is one of a final clue, to figure out the answer is up to you."

"N...now we have ten," said Luke, "L...lets sit down and f...figure it out."

The rat laid out the clues on one of the porches of a cabin. He pulled a pen out of his pocket and wrote the first letters of each one down. H-R-N-B-E-I-C-A-E-T.

"Hmm," he stared at it and wrote some words down.

Allen read them as he went, "Hibernate.... Beachier..." Allen huffed as he watched Luke write, "Babe, none of these are ten letter words..."

"I...I know..." Luke sighed, "I...I can't think of n...any words t...that fit."

"Could it be two words?" Elliot asked.

Luke looked over at the lion and back down to his paper. He started writing again. Allen read them out, "Inert beach... Thrice bean?... Bathe nicer," the wolf chuckled, "Three cabin..."

"Cabin three!" the three of them jumped to their feet and made their move. They ran down the hillside and came to a skidding halt. Pascal was there talking with Helmut and Sterling. The three of them let out exhausted groans as they walked up.

"Ah man!" Pascal laughed, "My cabin babes almost won?!?! They made it here like fifteen minutes ago."

"G...good job g...guys," said Luke, "A...and with only two minds."

"We didn't think we'd win any cabin challenges this year since we were short a roommate this year," said Sterling.

"Quite right," said Helmut, "We did great though. Good job to you guys. You kept toe in toe with us."

Four more groups showed up before five. Pascal was impressed that many of them figured it out. He made sure to let everyone know how proud he was. Suddenly the PA system for the whole camp came on.

"Good job master campers," came Turbo's voice, "If you all would please report to the dining hall for a special dinner and the announcement of the winners for this cabin challenge.

Everyone gathered into the dining hall. Elric was there, still with the butcher knife sticking out of his chest. The ram greeted everyone as they came in to gather in seats. The tables were already laid out with a feast fit for kings. Elric took his place at the front table along with all the counselors.

"Oh my," said Elric as he raised his hands to get everyone's attention, "What a crazy day! I got murdered and you all participated it seems. All that hard work shouldn't go unrewarded. So this dinner is for all of you. It's mostly an apology for shocking you all this morning. We'll also be serving our famous cheesecake when you're done! Please eat up!"

The hall erupted with animal noises and applause. It wasn't long after that the sound of plates and general conversation filled the hall. The meal was quite delicious and Elliot paced himself on what he ate to save room for that cheesecake. After a while Elric stood back up and called for attention.

"Now, there is a small matter of business we need to attend to," said Elric, "First off, a big congratulations to Cabin Twelve on their win!" The ram waited for the applause and cheers to die down, "Great job Helmut and Sterling. You two have earned the pleasure of going up to the Luxury cabin tomorrow evening with one guest each where you will be waited on by the Guardians and your counselor Takeshi. Onto the matter concerning this morning," Elric motioned to his chest, he grabbed the butcher knife and pulled it out of his shirt, the blade had been cut down and welded to a plate, "Since the Beasts decided to scare the piss out of you all, I think some old corporal punishment is needed for at least one of them."

The whole hall started to cheer as Turbo walked in with a paddle. Elric walked to the front of the table and took the paddle away from the cheetah, "Now! Helmut and Sterling. You boys have the choice of Pascal, Red, or Roger to receive one paddling from each cabin member. Who do you pick?"

Everyone started yelling names at the two of them. Helmut and Sterling talked quite briefly before standing up, Helmut speaking for the both of them, "We've decided on Pascal your highness."

Pascal laughed as he stood up and took center stage, "Alright boys, but first, let me give you a treat. Hit me Roger!"

The gecko pulled out the boombox from earlier and hit play. A rather provocative song came on, "There's no better way to get spanked then when you're naked!" The wolf was greeted with howls and whistles as he started to strut around the room. Pascal knew this was coming. He grabbed the neck of his shirt and ripped it off. Elliot blushed as the wolf tossed the tattered shirt at him.

Pascal grinned as he bounced back to the center of the room. He got in front of Elric, causing the ram to grin broadly. The wolf turned around and bent over in front of him. He dipped down and slowly rode the rams leg back up, pushing his ass against his crotch. The old ram couldn't help but grope Pascals ass.

Pascal laughed as he leaned up. He hooked his arms over the rams head as he leaned back and gave him a kiss. Elric blushed as the wolf released him. He jumped up on top of the table and started to undo his shorts as he swayed his hips perversely. He turned around as he pushed them down to show off his ass to the whole hall. More howls and hollers filled the room as he kicked his shorts away.

He spun around to show he was fully nude and motioned for the hall to stand, "Come on up boys! Give this bad boy what he deserves!" He jumped down off the table and assumed the position. He leaned down on his arms as he spread his legs and lifted his tail.

Elliot blushed as he didn't dare stand up at that moment cause he was hard as can be. Everyone else didn't mind. Elliot could feel his heart pound as one by one the paddle got passed along. Several of the guys took to heart what Pascal did and hit him really hard. He howled with pleasure from each smack though. The wolf was totally turned on by this!

Most everyone had gone and taken a turn on Pascals ass. Luke tugged on Elliots arm as they took up the end of the line. Pascal was panting and drooling on the table as they approached. Another puddle was beneath him on the floor.

"Mmm, about time my boys came up here," Pascal chuckled as Allen took the paddle.

"You deserve this," said Allen as he took a good hard whack against him.

"Nnngh, call me," Pascal grinned as he wagged his tail. Luke didn't get too much power behind his swing but the smack was quite audible. Elliot was last to go. The wolfs ass looked so tender and red.

"Sorry Pascal," said Elliot.

"Don't you worry big El," he said, "You can help me ice it later."

Elliot wound up and smacked the wolfs ass. Pascal chuckled as he pushed up from the table with a groan. His tail was wagging as he stood there in front of everyone, dick quite erect and dripping. He was a true lech for having enjoyed such a punishment.

"Haha, good boy," Elric slapped Pascals ass, causing the wolf to lose his footing a bit, "Now bring on the cheesecake!"
