Drag-On Days: The Beginning
#1 of Drag-On Days
{{Author note: I've been trying to get into writing, and I was inspired by some materials to finally write something. Which is practically impossible for me anymore due to having chronic migraines which seem to have no end. I had the fit of inspiration and here's the product. Let me know how you all feel, please, I don't want mega heavy criticism, but some is appreciative because I'm making this into a series. Thanks - The Author.}}
It was like any other day, Arthur, a Human, of average height, about six feet and an inch. His hair blonde with crimson streaks and green eyes, and Mikael, an Elf, about, six foot eight with snow white hair and purple eyes, were outside, practicing their sword skills, 'Arthur, how much longer are you going to be?' It was Angelis, his black dragon, and by his, the two were lovers, despite Angelis having raised him since she found him twenty-two years ago. She was speaking telepathically to him,
'Not long, my beloved.' he replied.
He checked Mikael's shoulder's, seeing he was going to cut from bottom left to top right, glad these were wood weapons. He moved to step into Mikael's right side, negating the strike as his waist was bumped against Mikael's wrists stopping the attempt. He'd bring his sword to tap his friends' back, just toward the left shoulder blade, a heart strike, "Nice fight my friend, need to practice on watching your opponent. To see where he'll be striking from, all in the shoulders. Especially with two handed swords. Subtle movements win big in a fight."
They both laughed, Mikael smirked, "Yeah, yeah. Again?" Arthur shook his head, looking to the sky, Mikael sighing, then speaking, "I see. You know, Alexia is jealous of Angelis?" Arthur shook his head.
He thought of Alexia, usually seeing her on a hill when he needed a confidant, after all she is a Human like himself, though there were many times where he thought of making love to the woman, to let his a hand caress soft blue-black hair, to look into her brown eyes, but these thoughts were shaken from his head, "My heart belongs to Angel. Me and her...we've been through too much." And with that, he'd crouch low, and use the strength in his legs from his own natural ability ontop of some mild magick, to jump into the air.
Mikael nodded, chuckling as he watched his friend leap high into the air, muttering under his breath, "Then you should leave, let her love someone else."
Arthur grabbed onto Angelis' body, moving to grab hold of her neck and kiss it gently, "You get more beautiful every day, Angel."
"And your tongue gets to be more silver each time you speak. Shall we go to our home?" He shook his head,
"No my love, let's go to your cave, I want to be alone with you." She nodded.
Moments of flight later they neared her roost, and immediately she growled, "An intruder?! I am going to bake his hide!"
Arthur licked her neck, "I know how you are, I'll keep out of the way."
Soon as she landed, she was hit with a powerful white blast, the force of the blow sending Arthur flying into a cave wall, looking up as he heard the echoing noise of words, only to see before his eyes, chains, come out from the cave, wrapping around Angelis, causing her to be pulled to the ground, "Arthur...run...!"
"NO! ANGEL! WHO IS HERE?! SHOW YOURSELF COWARD!!" Two shadows, now three appreared, soon as he saw them, he recognized two, but the white dragon, he had never seen before, "Queen Tricia!? King Dvilka!? WHY?!" The King, standing as tall as seven foot two, his hair a forest green and his eyes an ice blue, laughed, speaking in a harsh tone,
"Because this bond you two share is blasphemous! IT ENDS!" The King laughed, and the Queen stared, her skin so pure white, her hair raven black and long as her shoulders, while the dragon had a evil grin upon his maw, a sadistic intention belying it.
The Queen spoke, her voice a bittersweet combination, almost sour in its' tone, "She is oh so beautiful! When her purpose is fulfilled, can I skin her, make the scales and hide into some pretty outfits!?"
Arthur moved to Angelis head, "Darling what can I do?" he whispered.
She replied through their link, "We need to enter a pact...I will grow strong enough to break free of this and we can run!" He nodded and quickly he moved to kiss Angelis.
Speaking back to her through their telepathic link, "Anything! How?"
A growl had emitted from her, having enjoyed that kiss, only to grunt as she felt a great weight being pushed ontop of her, and she knew what it was. The Holy Dragon had mounted her and was preparing to thrust into her, working himself into growing harder. She'd bite Arthur's neck, and he'd feel a burn through his neck, moving to his throat, then to his mouth, it was as if he was being poisoned and it was trying to destroy his mind and senses.
He blacked out just as he heard a mighty roar. Any who passed through the wilderness miles from the cave, could hear the echo, so fierce one would believe it could shatter the Heavens.
Time passed, he'd not known how long, till he awoke, ontop of Angelis' back. He slowly shook his head. His throat moved, as did his tongue and lips, but words did not form. He used his link to Angelis, to speak to her, "Why can't I talk?"
She sighed softly, "Darling, when you enter a kind of relationship with something like me, a Dragon, or a Demon, you lose a part of yourself you are proud of. You enjoyed talking. You enjoyed mastering languages, even taking it upon yourself to learn my ancient language, to master the Draconic. You did save us both though, from forming this link...at a price. Now should anything happen, a fatal wound, I will die with you. And should anything happen to me as well, just as fatal, you will die with me."
He could feel water splashing onto him, salty, warm, realizing it was her tears. "I did say anything, didn't I? I guess I will write to my friends." He smiled kissing her back. He had been pulled into a state of shock at a sudden realization. "OH NO! MY FRIENDS!"
She shook her head, "Safe, darling. While you recovered, I told them. I told them we had to go away for a while. Alexia was heartbroken, of course. We have to stay away. We cannot go back to our homes. The sky is our home for now."
He kissed her neck speaking soft in their link, "As long as I am with you."
She chuckled, emitting a low, soft growl, her way of sighing, replying simply, "I love you Arthur."
He moved up her body to kiss at her head, "And I, you, Angelis."
End of The Beginning.
