As the wyverns landed in front of the main building of their home, Tenchi stepped off Rywigo's back just as Peridot came running and jumped at her, hugging her wife tightly, "Ten-Ten! You came back!" Tenchi giggled as she wrapped her arms carefully around Peridot, "Of course, I did promise after all." Peridot nodded before giving her red beauty a warm kiss, "I heard Hildegaard speaking to herself inside that she saw her mother during the war. That is how I knew that you had done what you wanted."

Tenchi gave her a warm smile just as Trinity walked out from the inside with the map in her hands, gently crossing off a spot on it, "Very well done. I am surprised you did so well." Tenchi nodded before looking at Peridot, "It is good that you stayed behind, Peri. I saw many things that I wish I had unseen now. The death of many of the Frostclaw Tribe. That image will never go away." Sasha was the next to leave the building, shocking most that were there. Like the eavesdropper she had been, she spoke her mind quickly, "I have not witnessed the war myself, but an action gave birth to hatred, the hatred fueled the will for revenge, the revenge ignited the flames of war, then one action started a cycle that spun the wheel of fate. Even as you altered the past, there might still be wheels of fate turning, just waiting for the moment when something stops it. And once a wheel of fate stops..." Sasha's eyes shrunk to pins in size, "...Death knocks on your door to collect the prize."

Trinity nodded, "You speak like a real prophet right there, but your words are the truth. No matter how we might change our past, we are still bound to one day die." Tenchi went silent before closing her eyes, giving a thought before Peridot asked, "Hey, miss Trinity? Is there a location that might be connected to that side branch? I would like to know more." Sasha looked at Peridot, "You cannot be serious." Peridot looked at her mother, "Mom, for once, let me go." Sasha was about to object, but this once she saw the eagerness in Peridot's eyes, the never-ending spirit to discover. In truth, she saw herself in those eyes.

Sasha had nothing to say as she just smiled and closed her eyes, "Those eyes of yours, Peridot. No matter if I say no to you, you will find a way to get what you want. Very well, I will give you a benefit of doubt. If you come back unharmed, I will stop seeing you as a little girl." Peridot walked right over to Sasha and gave her a tight hug, "Thanks, mom." Sasha just giggled before letting her go from the hug and Trinity nodded to her, "Yes, there is a location at Evangelion Peak." Sasha was looking at the beam of light, "Evangelion Peak. The Temple of the Gods. Why there?" Janch walked closer, "I can answer this. The temple is the former home of Vana before she moved down to the ground level. This means that the journey of them would begin there." Tenchi merely smiled at the prospect of knowing this as she grabbed Peridot, "Then what are we waiting for? Lets go!" Janch whistled, "Hey Gane, lets fly!"

With the wings of Janch's loyal wyvern and husband, they soon found themselves standing in front of the ancient temple that had once been Vana's home. Tenchi looked at the wonderful structure. The pillars seems to hint a bit of ancient Greek culture, but with a hint of medieval European cathedral. Moving closer, she was soon noticing the light was coming from the inside of the temple itself. Putting a foot on the first step of the temple, the doors flew open as the scent of fresh pinewood filled her nose and the heat wrapped itself around her body, pulling her inside, Peridot and Janch following as candles began to light up a path over to the light. Tenchi noticed another mace-like rod sitting on top of an altar with a writing on it, "What does it say?" Janch had to just look at it before smiling, "Tenchi, the Goddess of Justice." Tenchi was about to question it, but her hand soon found the rod with Peridot's help and Janch soon joined with Gane as they got sent into the past.

As Tenchi came to it, she sat up and rubbed her head, seeing Peridot hanging over a rock and throwing up from the time travel sickness. Gane and Janch seemed to already be at work with scouting the surrounding area before Tenchi noticed something familiar, "Wait. This is Hau'Ga'Rui. Look!" Peridot looked up from the rock and saw that indeed, they were in front of the area where the Shadowtail Tribe began. Janch quickly landed and grabbed Peridot and Tenchi quickly before flying behind some trees, much to Tenchi's dislike, "Oww. Hey, what are you do..."

Janch silenced Tenchi as she pointed to the lifeless corpse of Gaceia floating by them and soon all their eyes turned away to avoid witnessing what would been a clear contradiction to any creature's bodily nature. But when the unworldly deed was complete, the corpse turned into a black ash that covered the bodies of the bodies of the newborn cubs laying on the ground, the magic that was infused into the ash aging them rapidly to late teenage before a verbal exchange began between them, Janch listening carefully and translated, "So, this is our home now? Perhaps it is better that we get ourselves some protection. We never know what might exist around here."

As the final line was spoken, they felt how they were transported into the future and landed behind a big wall, just as two older looking dragons were thrown out and a hissing dragon were looking at them, "You two are tainted with their blood. Leave now and never return!" The two dragons stood up and looked at the lonely dragon, "But, we are still part of your tribe." The dragon growled at them before throwing a ball of intense shadow at them, "You two HAVE no tribe anymore!" As one of them got hit by the ball, she was launched into a tree before the dragon left and the entire area around the wall was sealed off. The outcasts looked at each other and cried as they held each other close, "What did we do wrong?" Janch just looked in shock with Tenchi and Peridot before they slowly followed the two outcasts.

As night fell and the two finally collapsed on the ground, they looked up towards the moon, "Why did you abandon us?" They both cried and Tenchi felt it pulling on the heartstrings a bit, but she knew that she couldn't interfere with it. Watching one of the dragons struggling to reach over to her sibling, she cries, "What should we do, sister?" The other dragoness looked up at the moon and just turned over onto her back, "Please. Eat me. At least then you will survive longer." The dragoness cried before she looked at her sister, "No, I can't. I rather die than eating you." The dragoness laying on her back smiled, "It is okay, sister. As long as the moon stands high, I will never stop watching over you."

Tenchi began to cry a little and Peridot held her tight as they saw how the dragoness sitting near the laying one was bringing out a dagger made from wood and quickly froze it solid, just about to plunge it into the smiling sister before she threw it into a nearby tree, "No! I can't." The sisters looked at each other before hugging tightly to each other, "This is why we were abandoned. We could not kill another to survive." Tenchi sniffed silently and Janch soon whispered to them, "Do you hear the sound of running water?" They listened and soon it seemed the sisters picked up on it too and got up before rushing towards the source of the sound.

Following them, they soon arrived to what seemed to be the sea, watching the sisters diving into the water without even thinking about any dangers, only to come back after a few minutes with some fish in their hands, "We are going to be fine!" They both seemed rather happy and looked at each other before nodding as they took a seat and began to eat their catch and not before long they had only the biggest one remaining.

Tenchi smiled at how they seemed so peaceful, but the peace was soon broken as a loud growl was heard and from a nearby rock out in the water, stood a large black wyvern with red eyes and stared at them. The sisters froze in fear and watched it slowly approaching, their survival instinct kicking in as they prepared to defend themselves, only to witness the black brute collapsing in front of them. One of the sisters looked at it and took the fish before moving closer to it, "Are you okay?" The wyvern growled at her, but when the smell of fish came to its nostrils, it seemed to calm down, calmly biting onto the tail of the fish before swallowing it down whole and looked at the sisters before standing up and circling around them as it then laid down to form a protective barrier around them, a soft growl almost telling them what it wanted as they leaned against the rather wet and warm body and fell asleep together with it.

As a final jump in time occurred, they found themselves looking up at the morning sun and the wyvern waking up the two sisters with a soft nuzzle on their backs. Like the night before, both sisters jumped into the water and soon brought back enough fish to sustain them both and their friend. Tenchi, Peridot and Janch just watched in amazement how even with a taint in their bloodline, they still could commune with the wyvern and find respect. When they finally finished their meal, the wyvern growled and stretched the wings before almost growling them onto its back and as Gane took to the air after them, the big wyvern seemed to fly to the north of where they were, past even Gac'Ea'Ax. But the further up north they came, the colder it became and the less the sun was shining down onto the water below them.

It was then that Janch pointed into the sky, "Look!" As if a sign from the gods or Creators, a meteorite fell towards the horizon in the north and the sound of a thunderous impact could be heard and a pressure wave hit the sisters and their wyvern friend first before Gane took the wave that was weaker and kept on flying as they noticed the waters below now seeming to form one giant ring wave that slowly swept across the planet before coming to an end somewhere else. It was when the wyvern finally began to drop the altitude that they noticed it. Shrouded in a light darkness was an entirely undiscovered place. Peridot felt eager to investigate it, but to the disappoint of her and Tenchi, it seemed to the distortion was fixing itself, forcing them back to their normal time, at the price of making them lose consciousness.

"Hey! Tenchi. Peridot. Wake up! You too, Janch." Tenchi rubbed her head and grunted at Sasha's call, slowly opening her eyes, "Hmm? Owww, my head. What happened?" Sasha looked at her and grunted, "You tell me. I was in the middle of helping someone to study for their exam and noticed how Gane flew through a window and landed with you three unconscious on his back." Tenchi looked at Peridot and Janch, both having their left arm in a cast while Tenchi had no injuries at all. Sasha quickly brought her attention back to the topic, "So. What happened?"

Tenchi gave Sasha a brief rundown of all that they had seen and learned. Once Tenchi was done, Sasha walked over to the map and looked at it, "It was all interesting, but that last part makes no sense. There is nothing to the north. I did not see anything like that." Trinity chose the bad moment to walk in as she was crossing off the spot on the map in her hands, making it appear on Sasha's own map. Realizing too late, Sasha was already looking at the map and grinned at her, "Oh, what is this then?" Snatching the map from the avian, Sasha was looking at it and noticed that unlike hers, Trinity's had two white patches of ice and snow marked in the north and south with a name written next to them, "Hu'O'Zevan. The realm of frozen darkness. Why did you hide this from us, Trin?" Trinity looked away, "A specific reason. It is something you must find out by yourselves. Too scared of facing the unknown?" Tenchi soon made her way over to look at the map and Sasha looked at her before nodding, "Tenchi, I put you in charge of this decision. It is your tribe as well as mine, but I cannot decide as my own one threw them away." Tenchi felt warm inside to hear Sasha saying that before she spun around to look at Peridot and Janch, "Lets bring in every family member we got. Time for a big meeting."

The End.
