This is the last episode of the series "Has its perks" I hope you enjoyed it from the first page to the last one. I really tried to entertain you, thought this whole series emerged from a sudden idea and a forgotten story I finished after years. I did not want to make a 7 episodes long novel, with all the characters and character development. It was hard to write these, especially this last few chapters.

I wanted to make something epic, I hope I did not bite more than I can chew and you will enjoy.

Also there is only one quick love making scene around the end, so if you are here only to beat your meat... I'm really sorry... maybe next time.

Also you may want to read the following stories to fully understand this one:

  • The Star Forge

  • Story from the Shelf

I will keep a little pause writing the next story of mine. It was hard to make this one ready at Christmas and I'm a little exhausted.

It is continuing right from where I left the previous one

Chapter 4 – The Creator –

“Thank you Star Smith." I pulled myself together, I have the hardest task of my life.

I started at the beginning, telling more about myself and the World Eaters, how we met and how I escaped from the massacre. I told him that they are form a Realm where nothing else exists but them. It is infinitely cold, nothing remained, just the World Eaters. They managed to escape because someone opened a portal for them, an explorer maybe. They extracted the Life form that person, destroyed the first Realm. It was millions of years ago probably. No one really knows.

They eat the Life Force itself, sucking out from the environment and their prey. Earth is the starting point in every Realm, then they just travel across the universe, destroying everything; Making the planets lifeless, rendering the stars cold like their heart. Basically they make every Realm similar to their Own. They were conquerors.

Druids were the favorite meal everywhere because the magic we use is strongly connected to the Life itself so meanwhile a simple human is like a glass of water, we are a huge pool of wine. That is why those monsters killed my folk first. Also we were a threat to them. A big army of Druids would have been able to stop them going from the nearby Realm at the first place. We fought with them on Earth, wounded them badly, that is why they had to wait that long.

Then I described him the plan I forged since I figured out some Druid can swallow the Life force and seal it inside of the human body. It was more likely the last thing for that person to do as no one can bear that much Life Force. But that Boy… he was talented, young, perfect for the task. Also the chances of survival with him was out of the chart. He hid his powers for eighty years even from himself that is what makes him so strong.

He asked about the rest of my team. The Smart was resourceful, he was perfect in improvising and has great knowledge on everything. His mind can help a lot. The Soldier was an old General, a great fighter and a genius in war games. He can make a plan that will work. The beast, the killing machine with almost impenetrable skin, breathing fire… if he will listen to the Soldier, then the group will be able to keep the line for ours and help the Boy survive till we arrive.

“The Boy, without knowledge is like a campfire without the fire." The Star Smith told me while he caressed the head of the creature he just called Geri. “He must realize his potential before the final strike."

“I know, I managed to convince the spirits, they will guide him, teach him. But we don't have much time." I hurried him.

“Hah…" He laughed a small one. “…Little girl, the time lost the meaning for me long ago." He said like a grandfather to his grandchild. I was about to protest against calling me a 'little girl' as I lived two thousand years, but we were interrupted.

“He lives outside of the time. Right Leonardo?" It was a lioness wearing a black plate armor with spikes and blades. Only the helmet was missing from the suit.

“Oh Caretaker, you always know what to say." He seemed to be touched by the name she said.

“I'm… “ I was about to introduce myself.

“I know who you are Light of the Winter." She interrupted me and used the name my mother gave me. I only told a handful of people this name. Where did they get it? “I know that you came here to ask a favor from the Star Smith. My task is to keep him safe and comfy here in Life Space Seventy-three. So I think you should go." She looked threateningly at me but a single creature won't make me move even a finger of mine.

“The World Eaters will destroy you and your whole civilization if we can't stop them in time. I set my plan in motion and all I need is him helping with all the power he possess." I stood up and made a step towards the lioness. She snarled at me and growled, releasing her claws into the ground.

“Earth." The Star Smith sighed with nostalgic tone. “I was born there, who knows when." Suddenly he changed his tone. “I know what you are asking Light of the Winter. The last battle of the Star Smith, the end of my journey as the Creator." I was shocked as he was talking about his death obviously. I couldn't imagine a powerful being like him to die. It was against his nature.

“Star Smith, you cannot die!" I stepped to him and the lioness did the same with fear in her eyes.

“Leonardo, you will live many more years!" She rubbed her head to him carefully.

“I want to have my rest. I was waiting for her request too long." He took a deep breath. “Let's go and defeat the World Eaters. Save all the Realities, all the universes." He smiled at me, but it was a sad smile.

“We will help you!" Cried the lioness, then she roared suddenly. “Tao'kale Mira, Tao'kale Leonardo!" She shouted into the air. Soon hundreds of lions were running towards us wearing the strange armor, ready to the battle.

“Well-well, Light of the Winter. You just got yourself an army of fearless beasts." He smiled at me, but that smile wasn't promising any good for the enemy of ours. The recruitment went better than I expected. I nodded to myself.

“But before we go, I would like to ask you something. There is a woman, a draconian woman in a nearby Realm…"

Chapter 5 – The Boy –

1.) The First Encounter

I was outside laying in the tall grass with my pride of lions all around. Under my head there was the stomach of Samson, and I relied my legs on the backside of Suzan a young lioness. It was the perfect idyll as the sun was warming us. George was so kind that he let me walk outside of the cages with the whole gang and have a day when we were doing whatever we wanted. Of course I started with some love making with three of my girls so I was resting now.

“Having fun?" I asked a young lion who were playing with my left hand. He grabbed with teeth, claws and then wrestled with it. Of course carefully, but I often felt the claws more than I liked to. Thought it was entertaining watching that to-be predator playing like a little kitten.

But there was something. A scent around me which did not let me fully enjoy the rest. It smelled like dried bones, sand and ice at the same time. It was faint but got stronger in every minutes. Maybe the pride also felt it somehow, or they just mirrored my increasing uneasiness they looked around often and sniff into the air in every minutes.

“Something isn't good." I stood up, looking around for any phenomenon that can cause this scent, this feeling in my gut. “Guys, go home, I will be right behind you." I said to the pride, calling for the drums and the chanting. It made that scent disappear and changed to the well-known, warm, musky.

As the pride got up, made its way back I remained just like my uneasiness. I was waiting for at least an hour, when suddenly I saw it, a shadow was sneaking closer to me, but it wasn't actually a shadow as it had form I cannot understand first. It was a black creature but as soon as I reached for it with my ability, it attacked me. I barely had time to duck and roll, hide in the tall grass.

“Boy, get up, here!" Someone was shouting at me. I peeked, it was a man, with a huge gun. The shadow creature was next by me and I cried up in shock. Suddenly a ray of blinding light hit it and it disappeared. The only thing I could see was that it had two long horn on its head.

“I said get up!" He walked to me and reached around with a hand, nagged for a second and with more force than I would guessed he pulled me onto my feet.

“Who are you?" I asked from this strange person. He had short blond hair, blue eyes… no, green, no… brown. As he looked around the color of his eyes were changing. I have never seen such a thing.

“I'm the one who will keep you alive till she arrives." He said. “And my name is Doctor…" He cut it and put the strangely looking gun to his shoulder. As I followed his stare there was at least twenty shadow creature approaching in the grass. Two pointy, black horns and a waging tail, that was all I could see from them.

“Can you kill them all?" I asked and made myself ready to everything.

“I can't see them clear… so… basically…run!" And he did accordingly, I just tried to keep the pace, he was inhumanly fast. But look who is talking; I could keep the pace easily which surprised me as well.

2.) Forming a team

We reached the buildings within ten minutes, which should have been a Guinness record or something because I walked for two hours with the pride to the point where we started. The doctor just kicked the doors, waiting for me to get inside and then closed behind me. He used some strangely looking phone to close the lock and pushed me further inside.

“What is happening? Who is this?" George came just like Joe, Sophia and Missy her nurse. It was around noon so they were probably preparing the lunch, when we arrived. Somehow I couldn't see Claudia, the other nurse, she was at the warehouse when left the building.

“He is…" I started and stopped, actually he did not introduce himself. I looked at him with a frown, the question was in my eyes.

“I'm Doctor…" Something hit the door with great force so he couldn't finish. Again. “…Shit! Fuck!" He aligned his weapon to it, which made a buzzing noise and lights started to run up and down on the barrel. Where the hell did he get that weapon?

“Tim, use the Call!" He said to me and I was bewildered. 'Call? What is he talking about?' but before I could ask the question he continued. “The Call of Wilderness. Collect all animals, all living things around this building from as far as you are able to. These things cannot stand a sudden change in life force concentration … at least for a couple of minutes, an hour at max if you can collect enough."

“Wait a second! How do you know my name?" I was surprised

“Just do it!" He shouted at me.

"All right, I will try!" The drums were already sparking in my head because of the excitement so it wasn't hard to extend my scent all around the land, the only problem was that I couldn't find any animal near or far. No lions, zebras, giraffes, nothing. Even my pride wasn't in the cage where I sent them not too long ago. Those creatures probably scared everyone away from the area. They felt strange like they were made to swallow my aura, feed on my power. The warm, musky scent got colder and colder. I was about to tell him the bad news when I felt something that kicked me off of my feet.

“What happened?" The Doctor asked and pulled me up with a swift motion.

“Something big is heading this way. I have never felt anything like that before." I was scared and gasping for air. When that thing touched my scent-tentacles the feedback was like an explosion. That thing had so strong aura, it could be deadly just standing next by to it.

“Fucking-fuck! All right everybody. Does this place have any bunker, shelter for hiding in case of disasters?" He asked George.

“It is a sanctuary for wild animals, not a military base!" He protested. “But we have weapons, mostly tranquilizer guns." He scratched his temple. “Joe, Sophie, go and grab as many guns as you can. Here in the cantina we can barricade ourselves."

“Good thinking. Do you have vitamin cocktails? Vitamin K mostly. They are allergic to it." His eyes changed to green and then blue again. George saw that too and looked at me like he will cry for help within a second. That was the moment when something heavy landed in front of the building. It shook the room, made the tables and chairs dance away a little. Cries emerged from outside, the cries of those creatures and a consciousness filled the air. It was full with lust for blood, hatred emitted like heat from the radiator. Every single hair stood up on my back, the drums, chanting faded away. I was edging panic when suddenly everything disappeared. It did not take more than ten seconds.

“What the hell was that?" Joe asked swallowing a hard one, despite he wasn't that scary kind.

“We will find out soon enough." The Doctor answered and slowly stood closer to the door, pointing with his strange gun. Suddenly someone was knocking on it, three slow knocks. We were exchanged a surprised look; that was unexpected.

“Who is that?" I shouted automatically but only got a few pairs of scolding stares.

“It's Arcturus. The Witch sent me." He answered and the Doctor looked happier, lowered his gun and smiled at me. He quickly unlocked the door with his strange phone.

The person who walked inside was really odd looking. He was wearing only a long black coat and pants. He didn't have any shoes or shirt. How the hell got here with bare feet? I had no idea, but his eyes got me really; They were amber with pupils only a thin slit. He wasn't human at all. But then he blinked a few and his eyes were turned back to normal.

“Let me guess; You are not from this Realm." The Doctor smiled at him.

“No I'm not, but I will fight with the World Eaters so I'm here to help you. The twenty minions are all dead, but we will get some company soon. I saw there is a bigger army heading here. Thousands of them, maybe millions. They are looking for him for sure, so we had to prepare." He pointed to me with a finger.

“Looking for me?" I was shocked. 'What did I do with them? I'm just me! A guy who speaks with animals.' I was desperate.

“You are a druid. If they can feed on your energy they will be strong enough to destroy this whole Realm and go for the next one." The Doctor explained.

Suddenly a man with black plate armor appeared in the corner, he came from the thin air with a sword in his hand. He had long greyish hair and extremely blue eyes. He wore a black metal plate armor with a crest on the breastplate; It was a dragon skull and two swords in it. The Doctor and Arcturus was ready to fight. It seemed the strange man did not mind it; he was just standing there with a little smile at the corner of his mouth.

“I hope she sent me to the right place. I'm Robert Franklin Broken-fang, Second General of the Dark Army of Da'aryth." He said with hoarse voice. 'He is a what of what from where?' I just blinked a big one. That was an impressing introduction.

“Prove me, she sent you!" Arcturus stepped forward and the consciousness started to fill the area again, it was foreshadowing really bad things. I gulped a big one. I was surrounded people capable of incredible things. First the Doctor with his high-tech gun, then Arcturus with this emotion-emitting stuff and it was Robert something of something, who just walked to Arcturus and smiled into the face of the danger. It seemed Arcturus was angry because of the crest, I had no idea why. Probably he liked dragons.

“I won't prove you a single thing, creature. She sent me to defeat some monster eating up all the Realms. I will fight for mine. With you or without you." His hoarse voice made his words more threatening than it should be.

“Guys, guys! The enemy is outside." The Doctor interrupted the silent fighting. There was a tension in the air, like the two was playing with matches on a pile of gunpowder. “She sent us all here to protect this kid till she arrives with someone who can destroy the World Eaters. So instead of killing each other, we should concentrate to the task. Right? Right!" Then he turned to me.

“Tim, you are a druid so if you could embrace it and use it, we will be able to defeat whatever they send. Even the Eater Masters." He grabbed my shoulder and shook it as an encouragement. I went white like the wall; they were asking too much. I just barely accepted that I might be more than a Beast Master. I wasn't ready to embrace some magical stuff or do magic at all. I did not even know how to. It isn't just swish and flick.

“Slow down! I don't know anything about druids! What should I do? How should I do?" I shook off his hand and went into the kitchen in hurry. I'm not a damn wizard! I'm not a fighter! Oh spirits what have you done with me?! I grabbed the edge of the kitchen counter till my fingers numbed. I was forced to defeat monsters yet I had no idea how to. The only thing I knew that I was in a really big trouble.

3.) The world in flames

I took a few deep breaths till I calmed myself down enough to rethink my position. I was with a group of strangers on the place I called home. My beloved lions had run away and there wasn't any sign any animal near or far. Even the lovely tigress escaped from her cage somehow. I was just a boy with a strange ability, with the love of animals. All I wanted to hug a lioness and kiss her till the end of the world.

Unfortunately, I have to fight to avoid the end of the world, to keep my pride in safe, protect them as a true Alpha Male would do. I turned around and concentrated to the drums in the corner of my mind, the whispering and made it louder. I made it so loud it was cracking my ears and splitting my head but I did not care that time, I wanted all, I wanted the power behind the ancient ritual, the forgotten words, the rhythm of the pounding ground. Reaching deep I found that; I made it crystal clear.

Suddenly Robert stepped into the room with surprise on his face, sword in his hand ready to fight with whatever he finds. It was me shaking under the power of the Beast Master. I fell to my knees; the ground was engulfed by blue flames. As I looked back at him, everything was burning around me.

“What are you doing kid?" He asked me but I wasn't ready to even open my mouth not to answer complicated questions. I was swimming in the ocean of the instincts and feelings, not capable of rational thinking.

“Hadiya." I whispered but not just with words, with my heart as well. I formed this thought into a cry which made the blue flames bend away from me, shockwave travelled through everything but no one noticed except me.

“Are you all right?" He asked me again, putting the sword away. This was the moment when I realized what was happening around me. I saw and felt the life. It was the life force emitted by every living being, it was whirling and waving, fluttering like the fire. As I tried to reach for a flame it filled me with energy, sparkling, sizzling like electricity. It resonated in my bones, pulsated in my veins and I recognized Eban's power all around me as well. I was part of this power, I was changing it, bending around my will. The ground was shaking suddenly, the wind was blowing away the table in front of me and made Robert step one back.

“I think I'm fine." I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. The light of the flames was still visible through me eyelids. It was biting my skin, made humming noises inside my ears. The blue flames turned to water, flowing with colors, it was like under a sea. I recognized Aisha's ability and from that moment I knew I can use all the powers of the spirits. I was a Druid indeed, the nature was my companion and my weapon as well. “I'm fine."

“Good." He nodded, turned around, went back into the cantina.

“I can provide more than just good. I'm a Druid." Inhaled, exhaled, concentrated to the clicking sounds, the humming, the drums, the resonations, the power biting my skin, the clear words of the ancient ritual, the pulsating scent in my nose. I embraced it all finally. “I'm a Druid."

But there was something else. Every time I tried to grab that other phenomenon it slipped away, it was similar to a piece of sapphire, clear and hard, shining and indestructible. When I tried to understand it smelled like old books. I thought that could be the fifth spirit, Akilah. Somehow she was hiding her power from me. The question was; why?

“Tim, come here, we need to talk!" The Doctor called me from the cantina so I went outside. The feelings faded away a little but I was sure I will be able to embrace them again anytime I want. Maybe I can form them as well to my liking. It was a fantastic feeling.

“We have five tranquilizer rifles, two pistols and a few flares. The ammunition is a problem. The Vitamin K is limited, we can make two hundred darts at max." George waved to Missy and Sophie filling the mentioned little darts with the liquid. “And we only have two clips for the pistols." He sighed.

“Better than nothing." Robert remarked. “Arcturus and me will be the first line of defense. Those who can bypass us will face with…. what was your name?" He looked at the Doctor.

“My name is Doctor Roland Wolf. But you can call me Roland." He introduced himself finally.

“Roland you will waiting for them with your weapon. The rest of the team will be on the roof. George and Joe will handle the guns; females will help them. I will require precise shots; we cannot waste the ammunition." He continued.

“Why are you in charge?" Arcturus asked folding his arms. I did not know what was that tense between them, like they did not really like each other, despite they just met. Somehow the crest was the key to this contrary. Why doesn't Robert like dragons? Why Arcturus is angry with him because of this? It did not make any sense.

“Because I'm a General and this is war. If you think you are more qualified to make the plan, I'm listening." He replied and it was a tense moment of silence again. Arcturus just shrugged as an acceptance but there was a thought couldn't get out of my head.

“What about me?" I had to ask.

“You will be on the roof with a gun as well or just stay here and hide." He pointed to the ceiling. I snorted in disbelieve.

“I can do more than that! I'm a Druid!"

“You are just a little boy. Moreover, you are the task we got. We have to save you, which means you won't fight on the field." He protested and leaned to me highlighting his words. I reached the end of my tolerance. Maybe they can fight and do tricks but I wasn't a defenseless boy anymore.

“Watch this!" I stepped one back and embraced the power I just discovered. The world was in liquid blue flames, making clicking noises like dices. The idea was simple, if they cannot get close to us then we are safe so I have to make some barricade or similar obstacle out of this force.

4.) Hold the line

Roland told me these creatures cannot stand too many life force concentrated into one single place. I was able to see and control the life force, I made it flow towards the building from all direction till I wasn't able to stand the pressure it made on my mind. It was like with scuba divers going too deep but in this case it was making some kind of spiritual pressure. Hard to describe. Maybe that was what the monsters couldn't stand. Anyway I felt myself at the bottom of the life force ocean.

“Oh kid, what are you doing?" Arcturus shook himself. “I'm freezing and burning at the same time." He added rubbing his arms.

“Druid stuffs." I shrugged like it was nothing, my nose was bleeding so I wiped it away with my sleeves, oh and the world isn't whirling around me… I'm fine. I had to lean to the nearby desk. I was a little reckless about my new-found abilities.

“Hm…" Roland pulled out his phone-thingy and waved it around. “You did something… it is like a dome around the building filled with positive energy." He pushed something on it. “That will hold back the World Eaters for an hour at least. Good work Tim!"

“Great." Robert took the word. “Now follow the plan. Arcturus, let's go out and check what kind of monsters they are sending." He patted him on the back which the mentioned rewarded with a snarl.

***

Joe, George, Sophie and Missy were on the roof ready for the fight. It looked little silly as we were about to fight interdimensional monsters with compressed air and vitamins. I suddenly became uneasy somehow.

Robert was standing a hundred meters from the building with bared sword, ready to fight. Arcturus was next by him. I had no idea how will they hold back the World Eaters. There were at least a million standing, waiting thirty meters from them and they were getting closer and closer as they adapted to the higher level of life force. Roland, did some adjustments on his gun, he explained that he puffed up the power output so he will be able to kill multiple World Eaters with one shot. The drawback, it will drain the battery faster. He was really optimistic.

“Don't worry kid, she will come and everything will be just fine." He patted my shoulder. I did not want to share his attitude. Looking to the monsters they were twice as big as a lion, with big fangs and long claws on all four. I couldn't see any eye or nose, but two black horns standing backwards from their skull. Their skin was extremely dark, looked slimy.

“Sure… if you say so." I expressed my skepticism, he just smiled, went outside ready for the fight as well. I had to sigh a big one.

The dome of life force suddenly shattered into pieces, it was like someone hit me on my stomach. I knelt to the edge of the roof gasping for airs, not hiding my nervousness. Robert suddenly vanished from the spot where he just stood and appeared next by the first line of monsters. He swung his sword, killing ten monsters within a second.

“HE CAN TELEPORT!" I cried with wide eyes. Arcturus wasn't waiting more than a second, he just walked like a peasant at the fair but when the first creature attacked him, he grabbed it by the horns and threw at the rest with force, they obliterated the line. Then he exploded into a dragon! One second he is a human, next second he is a huge, black dragon! I wasn't looking for my dropped jaw anymore; it was already embedded deep into the center of the Earth. Then the dragon just swung its tail, killing fifty monsters at least and then he jumped into the air, using fire breath on the enemy. So that is why he was looking angrily at the crest with the dragon skull! I slapped my forehead in realization.

Despite the incredible fighting abilities of my companions, the enemy outnumbered us. Soon these World Eaters got closer and closer to the building so Roland had to shoot them. Every single shot was made from light and when hit a creature it exploded, killing the nearby fellows as well. It wasn't enough as he run out of ammo after ten minutes.

It was the next biggest surprise despite a dragon was flying above my head, a man with a sword was teleporting and moving so fast I wasn't able to follow with my eyes, that Roland suddenly turned himself into a bear, killing the first beast with a flick of his paw, then the next second he was a crocodile snapping his deadly jaws around a neck. He was a shape-shifter!

I thought I must do something before they reach the building so I concentrated onto my power. The blue flames flickered around us but those monsters somehow masked it greatly. So I turned to Eban's power instead, the pulsating and resonating force was still there. It came from the air, ground, fire, water. I jumped off the roof, using an air-current to stop myself in time, it would have been really embarrassing to brake my legs after the first move.

The luck was with me as well, the first creature stumbled on something, hitting the mud with its face, the two behind him had to stop. It was enough time for me to grab the ground and pull a huge rock out from deep. I heated it with fire from Arcturus's breath till it was like the molten steel. I was fast enough to kill those three and five other with this piece of weapon before they could attack me.

The next bunch was running faster so I needed something else; the air. I made a sudden windblast that knocked them back a hundred meters at least. So druids can fight, I concluded. It wasn't even hard.

“Kid! What a hell are you doing here?" Robert appeared next by me while Arcturus blast a row with fire in front of us.

“Helping you, saving my life." I said and for a brief second he raised his eyebrows a little. I considered it as I managed to shock him.

“Just stay close to me and do your stuff carefully." He sighed, stormed a bunch of creature. I didn't waste my time and formed a fire ball from the nearby dead monster on fire.

5.) The Power of a Druid

Fighting side by side with Robert and Arcturus, Roland meanwhile from the roof George, Joe was shooting at the creatures was an incredible experience. The Vitamin K was working as it made the creatures weak and sleepy. I was completely in shock that I used this power I just discovered like I would have been doing it for years. It was working like an instinct an involuntary reflex. Eban's power was resonating around me, forming the fire into balls and spears, making spikes from the ground, creating whirlwinds… but it was me who did all those things, right?

“Incoming!" Robert cried. “Back to the line! Dragon, make a barricade!" He ordered us back into defending formation. Something big was jumping forward with a huge sword. It was from the same species but walking on two legs, wearing a black, metal, plate armor. The creature was at least three meters tall, extremely muscular so probably really strong.

“What the fuck is that?" Roland asked next by me. I hoped he knew the answer, not asking the same question formed in my mind too. “Limbs, attack the limbs!" He suggested suddenly waving around his phone-thingy.

“GIVE ME THE BOY!" The creature was shouting. Its voice was metallic and cracking, hurt my ears and made a minor headache.

“Dragon! Now!" Robert cried and Arcturus landed in front of us after a huge jump, using fire and a swinging motion with his wings. It made a wide fire tornado that killed the World Eaters in a huge area, but not the Eater Master. He just raised his shield, deflecting the elements.

“Shit! More of them!" Roland pointed to the distance and more Masters were coming with the gazillions of monsters as minions.

Soon I caught myself on using more magic for defending myself and the rest of the gang, than attacking the creatures. Robert was a killing machine bolting among the enemy, destroying groups of them with one hit, kicking the Monsters with force they exploded into meat and bone shrapnel. I used the wind and the earth to help him; mostly throwing the monsters to front of him and he dealt with them.

Roland was hard to follow, he used so much shape shifting between animal forms, half-forms that sometimes I lost tracking. He was right next by me helping however he was able to. Sometimes a big lizard man pulled me away from an attack, next time a half lion snapped the creatures in half at my back, but he used forms I couldn't explain, maybe huge insects combined with zebras? I had no clue.

Arcturus used his dragon form with great power and surgical precision. He obliterated complete rows of the enemies, attacking with fire mostly, but using his physical advantages as well. He had to concentrate more on the Eater Masters, but they were strong enough the defend themselves against a dragon.

Soon Joe and George was out of the ammo, they just hid on the roof with the pistols hoping for the best. Despite Joe was a werewolf he could only help George and Sophie not fainting in shock when a creature was too close to the building. His little above the normal strength wasn't enough for anything else.

I was near the end of my stamina as well, doing the druid stuff exhausted me more than I thought. I saw the group dynamism was fading away slowly. The enemy just flowed endlessly, it was clear that we will be defeated step by step. How much time had passed? When will the 'witch' arrive?

Robert used half sentences, command words to coordinate the attacks at first, but as we were more and more jaded he ordered us to keep the defender position, though he seemed to be tireless, he was fighting after an hour or so with the same momentum he started. Good for him!

“I can't do this for much longer!" I cried to him meanwhile used a wind blast combined with little pieces of rocks to kill at least twenty creatures. Unfortunately, this was enough distraction for everyone to let an Eater Master close to us.

I saw everything in slow motion like all the time is mine to act, the Eater Master swung forward into the direction of me with his sword but I wasn't able to move away. The tip was getting closer and closer to my chest while I prepared myself for the pain and probably my death. In the last minute I felt another thing; someone was pulling me back, unfortunately not fast enough to save me; The tip penetrated the skin at my shoulder and went in at least two inches; it was strange, I did not feel the pain, only the cold of the metal in my body. Robert managed to pull me back with force I slid five meters, right next to another Eater Master. The luck had forsaken me seemingly.

The pain hit me in the exact moment when I looked up to the creature standing just a step away from me. My wound was burning and freezing at the same time, I had to grab and cry in agony. I closed my eyes, waiting for the end in a way or another, but the only thing happened was that I submerged into water suddenly.

I was underwater, it was obvious, sinking like a dead log, the cold liquid eased the pain but penetrated my body, removing the warm from my limbs. I wasn't able to breath; I was choking slowly to death. Opening my eyes there was Hadiya swimming closer and grabbing me with her teeth on my forearm. She was pulling me up to the surface and I felt the warm musky scent around me, filling the environment slowly with life. Suddenly she pushed her power into me with force. As my face broke the surface I was back on the ground. Her power filled my bones, my veins, the drums were pounding the ground, the chanting was shouting in my ears. My wound wasn't bleeding anymore; I couldn't feel the pain as well.

I stood up and let all the life force out from me with a huge burst, every World Eater vaporized, every Master Eater had fallen to the ground dead in a two-hundred-meter radius. It wasn't over with just that, as soon as the blast faded away, the ground started to ripple, grass, small bushes and even one or two trees emerged, grown from it within seconds. Robert had to jump away from a thorn tree and looked with wide eyes.

That was the power of a druid. Creating life where there wasn't any. Unfortunately, the hordes of World Eaters only stopped for a minute or two but I was ready. The blast that killed the monsters filled my fellow with energy as well.

They were running towards us already.

“Prepare!" Robert stepped further. “Dragon, Shifter; Defend the sides. Druid we stay together, use magic carefully." He commanded when they were only twelve meters away. Suddenly something strange happened.

6.) The Creator Arrives

Clouds grew onto the sky rapidly which was odd even for me, but they were moving constantly, hiding the sun and casting shadows to the ground. Then a beam of light struck right to front of us. When the dust settled, a man was standing there all alone. He wore a brown west over the purple long sleeved shirt, brown suit pants. His hair was short and a little greyish. The Master Eater stood to him and the man nodded to it.

“Hello. I'm the Star Smith from the City of the Falling Moon. I'm the Creator and the Destroyer, the Beast of Gola'va Ka Tila. The Bearer of the Light and the Bringer of the Darkness." Then he kept a little pause meanwhile two metal beasts just materialize from the thin air next by him. They looked like horse sized wolves made from iron and heated up from inside by a mystical fire. “I ask you politely to leave… fast! This Reality precisely and all of them too are under my protection." He smiled as the Eater Master made two steps backwards after he introduced himself. That Star Smith must be dangerous person.

“YOU CANNOT BE! HE IS DEAD!" The creature said and the Star Smith just took a deep breath.

“Oh my friend, I'm very alive and convinced by her…" He pointed back to us when a curly red haired women stepped next to me, in black robes decorated with feathers and bones. On her shoulder there was a raven looking at me. That strange duo emitted the same power as the spirits and myself. She was a Druid as well. “…to protect the Life… and that boy too."

“YOU CANNOT SAVE THE BOY! YOU ARE FOOL IF YOU THINK! HE IS MINE!" The Master Eater shouted again, made a threatening step to the strange man who didn't even move a finger.

“I'm a fool man indeed, I was there when the universe was born, and when it ended, I have seen vanishing into nothing. I travelled through space and time, did the worst and the best." He kept a little pause. “You don't want to see me doing the worst again meanwhile saving that boy." His voice was warm but somehow, he changed the intonation mid-sentence to highlight; he is really-really dangerous. If I thought that the Eater Masters were scary, that man made me sure; I don't want to make the Star Smith talking to me with that voice. Technically I almost shitted my pants though I was the one he intended to protect.

“I KILL YOU AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!" The beast-men cried to us, the army of the shadow creatures were slowly getting closer ready for an attack.

“I knew you would say that!" And he snapped with his finger. The clouds vanished suddenly, revealing a huge space ship. Light beams hit the ground everywhere on a million places at least and four legged creatures appeared from them. First, I did not know what just happened, but after I figured out quickly; We got support. The newcomers were lions in some kind of high-tech armor with two, barrel shaped, foldable cannons on their back. The surface of that black suit was decorated with spikes and blades everywhere. The weapons started shooting, killing the World Eaters instantly.

“He just summoned an army!" Roland cried up happily. The Star Smith swung his arms forward, the metal wolfs blasted the enemies away from him with fire and lightning.

“Team, keep the positon, help the lions!" Robert looked around, standing into defensive stance. “Dragon, change back to human form!" He ordered and to my biggest surprise Arcturus did the change mid-air, landing with force that made a shockwave around him. He was totally and completely naked! I caught myself on looking away shyly.

“Tim, I'm Tlachtga the Druid. We have to help the Star Smith; the battle isn't over yet." She stood to me.

“Tao'kale Mira!" A lion shouted next by us and killed a World Eater with claws. She just tore the creature's head off then jumped to the next one, biting and tearing its arm. Meanwhile her shoulder cannons killed at least five of them, seemingly living its own life. Amazing!

I was in shock again as I wasn't able to follow the quickly changing events around me. A month ago, I was just a boy, barely out of the school, looking for a job to earn money to buy my first laptop. Then I became a lion whisperer. Fine! I thought, I was a little more than an ordinary man. I loved the lions and making them my new family was fantastic. Then I travelled to Africa by a sudden opportunity and met with a spirit animal. Fine! I thought again, I was introduced to some kind of spiritual layer of the world. Not a big deal. But I figured out that I was more than I thought, again. I was a beast master suddenly, a man capable of control every animal near or far. I think that was the point where everything started slipping out from my hand. I only had a few days to digest I'm a little more than I was and again; Bang! You are a druid Tim, deal with it!

I was standing on a battle field filled with speaking lions, using technology, space ship among the clouds, a dragon flying around, a teleporting-superman giving the orders meanwhile a shape-shifter helping me fight with the interdimensional, life-eater monsters. Oh, and Tim, you are supposed to defeat them. So, I was fine all and all of this crap; I just ignored them, Ignorance can keep your mind clear. But when the Star Smith entered the game, changing the power balance with metal wolves, light beams, I just needed a little pause, to catch my breath. Maybe a cup of tea, a comic in my hand, a lioness to my side, purring. But I only got a red-haired druid, shaking me back to the reality.

“You kidding me! He is incredible! Look!" I pointed to him. He walked slowly meanwhile the two metal wolves killed almost every single creature around him. Sometimes one or two managed to brake the circle but they had to face with the man in the brown suit. His left arm was made from metal as well, which was a powerful weapon. The Star Smith just pointed to the beasts, palm first, then a light beam struck from it, evaporating the creature. And that crazy druid thought he needs help... from me!

“Yes he is. That is why I called him. But without you, we won't win this battle!" Her eyes were green like a lake, I looked into them mesmerized by the beauty and the knowledge behind those beautiful gems. She must have seen many terrible things. She was strong, probably she knew more about living as a Druid than me, so I did not understand why she was expecting me to do the impossible.

“What could I do? I'm not a bloody Harry Potter!" I protested, she just smiled like a mother would do to her child.

“You have the bless of all the spirits. I sent Hadiya to protect and teach you, show you the way to live and the power that is already inside you. Just feel, let the spirits guide you!" She whispered to me and kissed my forehead.

“Look at that!" Roland cried suddenly. “He made some localized gravitational distortion!" He grabbed his head in disbelieve. As I looked where he pointed, two hundred World Eaters were in the air, floating helplessly. Under them the Star Smith stood hands raised to the sky. Then he made a movement like clapping, the two hundred monsters vaporized. “He dismantled the molecular structures with gravitational tidal waves!" Roland was totally bewildered. I didn't understand the half of what he said, but the view of the monsters turning into nothing was something that I was appreciating. All right Tim, you can do this! Just kill the gazillions of monsters with some kind of power you probably never heard of before. Like a walk in the park.

7.) Spirits

One of the World Eater Master broke through the protective barrier which was made from Arcturus, Robert and a bunch of Lions wearing armor. That one was really fast, I only had time to push Tlachtga away and roll into the other direction. As soon as I was on my feet again Robert appeared next by me.

“Do what she says, I will deal with this one." He gave me the order and attacked the Master with incredible accuracy, speed and strength. That creature looked a little different than the rest. It was bigger, four meters in height. The armor he wore was made from chitin instead of metal, he didn't have any weapon. I strongly hopped that Robert saw what I saw. It was not just a World Eater Master.

“He is a Life Crusher! Watch out!" Tlachtga cried, formed a spear from the ground, shot to the creature. That magic was obliterated by the armor of the beast.

Unfortunately, we had to watch out for the simple World Eaters as well, but Tlachtga was good in it. She formed roots around us, catching and binding a hundred beasts, then spikes made from ice pierced through them from the sky. I was just standing there with dropped jaws. So this is when a Druid is fighting? The earth quickly swallowed them. When the next attack came she somehow extracted the blood from the creatures, forming needles that made pincushion from the attackers, killing them on spot. Then she waved her hand around, the dead creatures burst into flames, exploding as soon as the row behind them reached them. She was incredible. I turned my head back to the fight of Robert.

He quickly evaded an attack, stab between the plates of the chitin armor. He did not earn any effect so he tried from another direction. Seemingly the creature cannot feel any pain. The Crusher grabbed his sword with his hand in an unexpected moment, crushed with the force of his palm into million pieces. Robert was taken aback and this second of hesitation in the fight was enough for the monster to tore into Roberts stomach with his claws.

That beast pushed its deadly fingers through his lower abdomen, they were going out on his back, like he wasn't wearing a metal plate armor. I gasped for air as I saw my protector, Robert the incredible fighter and the clever General dying in front of me.

Tlachtga cried and ran to him, made an ice spear throwing at the creature, but she wasn't fast enough. The crusher simply tore him into two pieces. He was dead, Robert died protecting me! I felt sudden increasing sickness and wanted to puke. The ice spear went ricochet, didn't even made a scratch on the chitin armor.

Arcturus arrived suddenly, straight from the sky, blasting into the crusher in human form, fist first, sending it hundreds of meters away. Tlachtga was kneeling on the ground breathing heavily and looking at me with wide opened eyes. There was the ice spear went; right into her chest. She was wounded by her own magic.

“No! You cannot die too!" I quickly jumped to her, grabbed her as she was the end of her stamina. My eyes were full with tears but the surface tensile kept them from flowing in rivers on my face. I did not know what to do.

“You are more powerful than you would think. Trust your instincts." She said on low voice and coughed up some blood. The spear must have pierced her lung. “I'm happy that I could make this happen. Sorry for leaving you alone with this great responsibility." She sighed. “I... arrived..." she stopped and looked away with blind eyes. It was over, she was dead too. I was shaking in despair.

“Help! Somebody!" I cried but only Roland arrived and two lions. They were too late. Tlachtga the last druid was dead.

Suddenly the increasing sadness turned into blazing rage and anger. I was there, shaking like an aspic while I held that beautiful woman in my arms. Robert's lifeless body was laying not far from that point as well. They died and who knows how many lions were dead as well. I saw a few motionless body here and there on the ground.

“Sorry Tim." Roland patted my shoulder. Suddenly I had an idea. What if I pump the life force into her body? I concentrated to the world in blue flames. It was working faster than I thought. But the problem was with the World Eaters. They stifled the blue fire, like they were feeding it constantly, using the life force to keep them strong. I must do something with them first. I thought.

“Got you!" I whispered. The picture had formed in my head. I will remove the life force from everywhere, making the monsters starve. Or like pulling a battery out from a doll. I slowly put Tlachtga to the ground, stepped away from her body.

I was ready to die trying to save the world as I knew my body won't survive that amount of life force. No one would be able to. Too bad I couldn't hug my lions and lionesses for the last time. But... no doubts, no more delays! I will do what I have to do. I'm Timothy Connor the last Druid!

The warm musky scent filled my nose in the same time with the drums and chanting in my ears. No, that time it wasn't in my ears; my bones, my muscles, every single nerve in my body was pounding. The blue flames started to curve towards me as I made myself a vessel for them. I concentrated with more power than ever in my life to make them come closer and closer. Suddenly the chanting made sense. I understood the words of that shaman.

“We are one with the beasts, one with the elements, one with the Spirits. Feel our heartbeats, see our fire, smell our scents, because we are together!" I whispered too, feeling the words which made me ready. I pulled all the flames all the life force into myself till I was full. The world in flames went dark, only the lions emitted some. The World Eaters stopped moving. They looked confused for a second which was enough for the lions to execute them on spot. My act was the turning point in the war.

My skin was burning and my bones were freezing. That incredible amount of life force inside my body made me shivering in pain. It was too much as I felt it will tear me apart from inside. I fell to my knees and as I touched the ground, I saw my skin turning into white, every hair on my forearm became hoary. I lost the balance. As I was falling back to the ground, I arrived into the water again.

***

I understood that water was the sanctuary of my mind. It was hiding me from the pain, from the fact that I was dying despite I couldn't breathe, despite it was sucking the warm out from my body. Will Hadiya save me again? Or any other spirits? Probably not. Removing every life force from at least six kilometers radius was the abuse of the nature. I wouldn't be surprised if they would let me die.

“It is not the end, just a new beginning." A woman told me, her voice was echoing under the water. It was familiar somehow. I was already at the end of my air so I gasped a big one.

Water filled my lungs, but I wasn't suffocating anymore. I was able to breath. The cold started to flew out of my limbs so I was able to swim up. As soon as my face broke the surface I was back on the battleground.

“Tim, are you all right? You went albino with blue eyes!" Roland was leaning to me as I was laying on my back. “The battle is over." he smiled as I stood up slowly. My skin was still white and I still felt the incredible amount of life force inside my body, but the pain vanished. I used to it I thought.

“What happened?" I asked the obvious; World Eater corpses were all over the place, the lions walked among them checking every single for life signs or helping the fallen, curing the wounded. Arcturus turned to dragon again, he was flying above us in circles. His consciousness was all around us still radiating hate and lust for blood.

“After you collapsed, every Monster stopped, slowed down. It was enough advantage for the army to kill them. The last few just fell over lifeless. But dude! I'm freezing since that moment and not just me!" He folded his arms like he was really cold. Suddenly a raven flew to my shoulder. He was Tlachtga's companion.

“She is gone, isn't she?" He asked. Wow! A talking bird! When I thought I saw everything something surprises me again and again.

“I'm sorry. I couldn't save her." I told him bowing my head. “Is that really over?" I asked from everyone around me.

8.) The new beginning

You probably know that after every battle the biggest task is to clean up. Especially if the battle is full with corpses of interdimensional creatures, intelligent, talking lions, and advanced technology. The Star Smith simplified the issue by asking one of the iron wolves; the beast summoned millions of millions tiny light beams off from the space ship.

“The World Eaters are vaporized. The Tao'kale Mira's dead and wounded are on the ship with your friends. I'm really sorry for your loss." He said to me and put his metal hand onto my shoulder.

“She saved the world." I told him still not knowing if I should cry or just mourn in silence. I barely know her yet I felt I lost an old friend. Probably because she was a Druid too.

“She saved every Reality across every universe. The Light of the Winter did what millions of millions before her wasn't able. She will be remembered." He sighed and staggered. He seemed tired, but not in his body; his soul was tired.

“Are you ok Star Smith?" I had to ask.

“I have seen too many, lived too long. I'm so tired...." he sighed again. "I'm ready my dear!" He said to the sky and suddenly a huge lioness appeared next by him. She was whiter than the snow, emitting light from her silk like fur, which was decorated with bluish glowing forms and curves all over. I dropped my jaw as she radiated some kind of consciousness, a mind that so strong like the universe itself. I have never felt something like before. Arcturus's stuff was dwarfed next by hers.

“I know you are, Father of mine." She told with her mind only and rubbed her head to the Star Smith who hugged her back. When I tried to recall her words, I realized she did not use any. She whispered her raw thoughts deep into my subconscious and it formed into understanding through my memories, my experiences. Like she only made a little spark which caused an explosion. As she hugged back, the Start Smith slowly faded away, till only the big lioness remained. “Rest well, Leonardo." A tear left her eye and as it landed onto the ground, a flower emerged from the point. It was like a rose but made from metal, the leafs were made from amber. Then she vanished as well.

“She was a Goddess." I said to her cold place, when I realized.

“She was Mira, the Great Goddess." Ruith whispered into my ear who were still sitting on my shoulder. He told me recently that if I allow him, he will support me just like he did with Tlachtga. I didn't mind. He was a good company.

George was helping Joe and Sophie removing the ruins of the building from the way of the cages. Though there weren't any corpses around but sings of explosions, burning or impacts everywhere you could look. The main building was also damaged, some of the cages were into million pieces. It will take months and lots of money to rebuild everything. Not to mention that I did not know if the lions are ok or not. They could be dead by now as well. The thought made my stomach jump.

“War has no winner, just a side who loosing less." I sighed.

“Wise words for a young boy like you." Ruith rubbed his head to my temple to comfort me. I sighed again. In the corner of my eye I saw Hadiya sitting in the tall grass, looking at me. Next by to her there was the rest of the spirits. The bird, the hyena, the zebra and my beloved lioness. I went to them and caressed the lioness spirit who had incredibly blue eyes. Next by to Mira she was like a little kitten compared to a Bengal Tiger. Yes, she had an effect on me as well. Strangely I felt the musky scent around me, but the drums and the chanting vanished.

“I can't stay here after all this." I waved around. “I can't just rebuild the shelter and snuggle with the lions like nothing, not all of this happened. I can't.... just can't." I sighed. Hadiya pushed her nose to my face, I hugged her neck, knocking of the raven from my shoulder. The touch of her fur was warm and silky so I pulled her closer to myself. Something radiated from her, as I looked into her eyes it was glowing in blue. She never did anything like this before. Then the rest of the spirits stepped to me, also with glowing eyes. I was confused, they did some kind of magic around me I was sure but what? Why?

“Tim, I don't know what is happening." Ruith said while he flew back to my shoulder. They did something with the air next by me it was pulsating on a spot, bending with lights, then suddenly it hit me with force I lost my balance, my vision blurred and I hit my back to the ground really hard.

***

My head got a big hit so I grabbed and massaged while I sat up not understanding what happened. I was in a forest with tall trees and birds peaking from the branches. The spirits sent me somewhere, somehow for... something. Yes, I was a little confused as I slowly stood up bemoaning my back and the wound on my shoulder what the Eater Master made.

“Ruith?" I shouted hopping that my new-found companion was with me. But I got no answer. Suddenly I realized a whispering in my ear. It was blunt, from many-many mouths, sounded like the wind among the leaves, the ants marching on twigs. I realized I can hear the forest itself.

“That is great!" I took a deep breath and concentrated to the closest oak-tree. “Come closer my friend." I whispered to it. For a moment, nothing happened, but then the tree moved, tearing its roots from the ground, sneaking a few steps closer to me. The tree was listening to my order.

“That is something new." I scratched my temple when I realized my hand wasn't white anymore, it was normal again. But where all the life force went? Maybe the spirits extracted from me with that strange stuff they did. “Where am I?" I looked around but nothing was familiar.

The next by bush moved, rattled suddenly so I used my power to investigate what could that be. There was a creature inside, hiding, hunting. When I found out it was hunting me, I made the bush entangle that one. It was a lioness wobbling for help.

“Don't be afraid my darling. I'm Tim, just the friendly neighbor Druid who should be dead by now, but instead he was casted away by a bunch of spirits." I was chatting. The musky scent of mine slowly touched her, when it happened they forged together. Her eyes were incredible, green eyes popped open and I knew she won't hurt me anymore. I was one with her. I understood her more than anyone.

“Are you alone or is there anyone else?" I made the bush release her, she just walked to me with fluttering tail suggesting the pride feeling to me. So she had a pride nearby. “Lead the way." I smiled to her and she went into a direction.

After ten minutes of walking we arrived to a lake with ten lions laying around on the rocks. It seemed a really comfy place. Water supply with fishes, animals going on and off drinking so there should be food as well, the trees giving shelter from the elements. I understood why this pride had chosen that place. Despite the fact, lions were not living in forests with oak trees.

“Holy whiskers!" I gasped when I saw two moons on the sky. “You are not in Kansas anymore Dorothy!" I let myself a remark. So the spirits sent me into another Reality. Which is bad as I did not know how to open portals between them.

***

I spent the day with the lions walking around the lake, making plans about what should I do. Going back wasn't an option because of the lack of knowledge I had on doing magic. Wandering into depths of the forest seemed a waste of time as it could be as big as the whole planet. The only fixed point was the lions with me. I loved lions in every meaning and they accepted me already.

“All right… I should name you somehow." I was sitting on a stone and the lioness's head was in my lap. The one I met here when I arrived. “You were hiding in a bush, about to eat me. But your eyes are green, which is amazing. I have never seen a lion with green eyes." I was caressing her head between her ears. There was a name suitable for her. “I will call you Light of the Winter." As soon as I said it out loud my heart ached by the memory of Tlachtga dying in my arms. Probably the lioness felt the sudden change in my mood because she picked up her head and licked my nose.

“Also you folks deserve a name. So I think I will call you; Smoke Paws, Raindrops in the Wind, Stargazer…" I started to give them names I just figured out but I thought they will suit them well. When I finished and looked back to my Light of the Winter she rubbed her head to my chest with love.

“Thank you darling. How I wish you could speak like me." I sighed.

“What would that be good for?" Someone asked me from the nearby tree, I recognized Ruith's voice so I jumped up happily.

“You silly bird! I thought you gone!" It was a warm welcomed moment when he flew onto my shoulder.

“I did not want to disturb you. You were so busy with your thoughts and new friends. Also I would have liked to venture further into the forest and see what is what." He explained while I caressed his head with a finger. Seemingly he liked that much.

“And what is what?"

“I couldn't find the end of this forest. It is huge indeed. We are in a different Realm, which is full with life, but not a single sign of intelligent creatures. Thought there is a big mountain range at north, so we can't say for sure." That made me think; a perfect place for a druid with love of animals. Maybe that is why the spirits sent me here.

“I would like to go back and see what happened with the others. Arcturus, Roland, that army of talking lions… what happened with the world? I'm sure everyone saw that battle with the World Eaters and the space ship in the sky."

“I think you will find a way to travel between the Realms just like she did. Just give some time to yourself. First you have to deal with that beast." He pointed to the lioness with his beak and flew back onto the tree.

The mentioned beast was the Light of the Winter, the green eyed lioness. She was in heat and targeted me as a possible mate. The thought made my blood blazing in lust and I was rock hard in the next minute.

I quickly undressed, just throwing the cloths away, not braking the eye contact with this needy female in front of me. She purred louder when she saw my throbbing member. I did not waste any time and pushed it to her face.

I was expecting some sucking, but probably her need was too big to waste any time on foreplay, she just turned her back to me and laid down into the Big-Cat-Pose, setting her rump high, bending away the tail. Despite the dark around us, I could see clearly everything. The drums returned just like chanting, the warm musky scent as I kneeled behind her, grabbed the hips and aligned myself to the entrance. I had sex many lions before but I felt in that moment like it would have been the first time again.

As my glans slowly popped inside and the heat shock hit me, I knew that is the life I wish. She started to purr as I slid inside with all my seven inches. The moment when my pelvis hit her back side, the well-known milking motions begun. Muscle rings were tensing, releasing my length, moving rhythmically on my every inch. I knew if I would just keep myself inside I would came within a minute. But I wanted more so I pulled myself out till only the tip of my cock remained in.

She looked back with surprise on her face. Yep darling! Humans have no spikes on their dong. I pushed inside again fully, starting to move in and out rapidly. She leaned her head up, yowling continuously, shanking in her whole body, twitching in joy. I was probably the first male making her feel that pleasure.

When she reached the top and her fluids were flowing in rivers between my legs I was ready to release my semen as well. It was too much; the tight tapered shaped canal became a milking machine in every meaning of the world. It was slurping on my cock, crushing with force, demanding the cum, all I had. So I gave with a huge roar.

After I emptied my balls deep in her, she jumped forward and rolled from side to side on her back. One more satisfied Big Cat. Oh, she was perfect and you know, big cats use to mate a hundred times a day. I hope I can keep the pace.

She went to me while I was breathing heavily on my back, watching the stars above us and laid next to me, still purring endlessly. Soon the whole pride got up and laid around us. I got a soft belly under my head, two lions were sleeping on my legs. I was the center of the well-known lion-pile.

“I love you." I confessed to the Light of the Winter. The word got wings and coaxed out Hadiya's ability suddenly but there was something else. It was the combined power of all the spirits but led by Hadiya's. And the thought became reality. It was waiting for the word of mine, like a snow ball ready to be thrown. It needed a word that will form into an act.

“I wish you all could speak and think like me." I said and it blasted into the darkness, pulling the stored life force out from my bones, flesh, nerves. I opened the dam which washed the world away from my eyes meanwhile filled every lion around me with something.

Chapter 6 – Aftermath –

The Witch was dead just like Robert the great warrior. I did not know what happened with the Star Smith he just vanished from the arms of that strange creature. I knew what it looked like, but I also felt its presence. Dragons, my race was able to emit our thoughts, it was a way of hunting as well, paralyzing the prey with different and strong emotions. But that Lion was the definition of power, it wasn't a consciousness nor thoughts, emotions. Every time I tried to understand it overwhelmed me, made my brain to see things, like she was radiating light from her fur. But that was impossible, right?

The Boy survived thanks to all the Gods, the Witch has right at the end he was the key to defeat these monsters. He did something, a magic which made me cold and sad at the same time. Thinking about sadness, as the Witch died I will never see Helga again. I was fighting for her and only for her. The Witch promised me she will bring back.

“You are bleeding." Roland stood next by me. “And naked of course." He added. I was indeed naked, but I used to the feeling. He seemed disturbed standing next by me. But he forgot all this when the boy suddenly vanished.

“What happened?!" I was shouting for answers. He was standing in the grass looking something in front of him then he gone. I hope he will be all right.

“The Spirits sent him away into a different Reality." Roland told me using his magic-box in his hand. Then I realized he wasn't naked despite he was a shape shifter like me.

“How do you have cloths? You changed your form as well."

“Well, my clothes are also me so they are changing with me." He rubbed his temple in confusion meanwhile I blinked a few to understand what he just said. No! It should be a problem for the another day. I hissed in pain as my shoulder had three claw marks. The big World Eater Master in chitin armor, the one who killed Robert almost killed me as well. He was strong and those claws were able to penetrate my skin. But I destroyed it, ripped into pieces, burned it into ashes.

“Can I help you?" A woman asked me, holding a blanket in her hands and a small box with a big red cross on it. She was mesmerizingly familiar. Those brow eyes and black hair as the darkest night. The curve of her face, the tiny little nose. Even the birthmark on her left chin. No it can't be possible!

“Who are you?" I asked in shock.

“Oh, I thought you will remember me after you made me a hatchling six hundred years ago." She told me and I dropped my jaw. It was her! IT WAS HER!

“HELGA!" I cried out, grabbed her by her hips and spun her around. “How can you be here?"

“The Star Smith came to me when I was dying. He tore me out from our Reality and brought me here. I was waiting for you for five hundred years when the Druid visited me and told me I should go to Africa… here. I came as Claudia Hunter, a nurse a healer of animals.

“But why were you hiding from me?"

“Because she told me I have to. I can only meet you after the World Eaters are dead." She hugged me with force and feeling the heat of her body what would burn anybody else washed all the doubts away. She was my only one!

I was happier than before.

****

“Well, you have a really odd taste." I whispered to myself as I was watching the dragon-guy hugging a black haired woman. I was more into blonds maybe reds. But it was another topic as I tried to keep myself together no matter what. Tlachtga was dead. She died and it was a thought I was about to hide into the depths of my mind. At least for now. There was more to do before I could mourn her. She was my companion for twelve years, she taught me how to use my ability, she showed me the secrets of the universes and Realities. We travelled together, lived together. She was like my older sister and my best friend.

“Maybe we should accept that it's gone. The shelter, the animals. I don't have money to rebuild everything and start over from the basics." I heard George sighing sadly. Joe the strange black man was next by him patting his shoulder.

“We will figure out something." He tried to console him with not much luck. I had a sudden idea.

“You can come with me. Tlachtga showed me how to open portals to other Realities. I made a device capable of it. I call it… well… Portal Popper." I dropped this topic to them but they got it on different ways. Joe's eyes brightened up hearing this opportunity, but George just sighed a big again. “Come on! There is more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than can ever be done."

“You just quoted from the Lion King, don't you?" George stepped to me with a smile in the corner of his mouth. “That was and is my favorite movie from my childhood."

“If it's working…" I opened my arms and shrugged

“This is my home, my place to be. Also there is Myka… I can't leave. I have to rebuild everything for the animals." He grabbed my shoulder and squeezed it a little.

“I can help with that too. You know I'm really clever." I smiled what he returned.

“Thank you Roland." He hugged me which surprised me greatly.

So I had a job to do, rebuilding a shelter in the heart of Africa, undo what those monsters did. Maybe this is why she had chosen me at the first place. She knew I will carry her heritage about solving problems and helping people. Well I became a scientist to create new things which will make the life easier for everyone. So I'm a people person we can say that. But who knows? Maybe another twenty years and I will settle down in Africa, living as a lion… or a zebra. Whatever!

“No you silly cat, you shouldn't lean over the water that much!" I laughed to the lioness falling into the river. I was teaching them how to catch fish, but she slipped and now she was wobbling sending water to everywhere, acting like she was about to die. Drama was deeply embedded into Big Cats.

“You did not say that!" She was complaining while she shook all the water off of her, onto me. After the night we spent together, the magic that got wings, they became sentient speaking creatures. It was six months ago already so I used to it. Ruith told me Tlachtga did the same with him, that was the reason why he was what he was.

“Come on Flame of the Night, help her." I waved to the lion waiting for the yummy fishes, he just sighed but did what I said. They accepted me as the Pack Leader which meant they followed my words like laws. I made a few because I thought they will need them. With some luck they will become a fantastic species, despite the fact I couldn't give them thumbs to grab. But grabbing on stuffs isn't want makes you intelligent and advanced.

“Just hold her by her tail, don't let her fall into the water again." I explained my plan. He snorted.

“Can't you just ask the fishes to jump into our mouth?" He said, I laughed on the idea. Well I was a Druid so I could have just command the fishes to make a line and offer themselves to the lions one-by-one.

“I won't be here forever, so you have to learn how to catch fish."

“But why? We can hunt whatever we want!"

“Yes you can, but what if you cannot find anything? Then you have to get food from the river, which means you have to fish." I explained and he cooked his head. The lioness just pushed his muzzle with a paw.

“Told you!" She added, get herself ready for the round number umpteen.

“Tim, how do you mean, you won't be here forever?" Light of the Winter came from the bushes. She had a habit to hid in them, that is how we met at the first place.

“I… I want to travel around the world. Maybe I will start with those mountains." I pointed to the huge chain at north they named Dividers.

“But you built us this little paradise. You made the river, the meadow back there, you pulled the rocks out from the ground, where we can sleep under the sun, which warms us during the days. Why did you do all of this if you will leave us alone here?" Flame of the Night stepped to me and rubbed his head to my chest. I caressed the rich mane with a sad smile.

“I won't leave you in the near future. You have to learn a lot before I could leave you with the thought you will be fine by your own. Also that doesn't mean I won't come back ever. I just want to discover this new world."

“We will miss you Builder." The lioness Muzzle Pusher came, not disproving her name; pushed away Flame's muzzle, rubbing hers all around me.

“All right my friends. Let's get back to the topic of fishing, before the night." I hugged all of them one-by-one before we went back to the edge of the river.

I was the Builder of this little sanctuary for the Lions, the species I made by giving them food, place to sleep, space to multiply, where the weather will spare them, the ability to think and speak. Yes, I knew why they called me that way.

Light of the Winter was next by me when, after many years I gathered them around and said, the time arrived. I will go and discover the world. She was also with me when I climbed the mountains and looked down to the place I called home.

“What now?" She asked rubbing her had to my chest.

“I have many ideas my dear. For example…" I stretched out my arm and snap. A sizzling bright door appeared next by me.

“When did you learn this?" Ruith was asking me. He was always with me just like my mate, the lioness with green eyes.

“Druids has to keep some secrets." I smiled on their surprise.

“And where are we going?" She stepped next by me, while the raven flew onto my shoulder.

“Everywhere." I smiled, stepped into the light.

The End…
