Pilgrimage of Eric - Part 4 - Father of All - 2nd Chapter
This is the second chapter and the third will be here probably sooner as it is 99% done. Then there will be a harder chapter for me which is only a sketch now as I wanted to fast forward the events to the next one where another piece of the mystery unrevealed. Then with a huge jump we arrived to the 6th chapter where you fill find out something really important about the main characters.
There will be a copy-paste chapter following each other as well... not spoiling but there will be slight differences between them, you will know why. And then two or three chapters later the final conclusion of the whole Pilgrimage of Eric.
After I finished I will try to get back to the Outer Rim.
If you find serious grammatical errors (probably there will be a metric ton as I'm out of shape) just send me a PM and I will fix it. Also thank you for the effort in advance.
2.) Glimpse from the Past
Clarissa attacked me, not just playfully, not just out of practice or any reason I would have accepted. I just spoken a few names and the next thing was that I was bleeding from my neck because of her claws. I was mad of course; I built some trust in her and she destroyed it with only a flick. How should have I known that names were forbidden if she never told anything about her past? I asked her a few times, but she evaded with different topics. As I was walking back into the depths of the camp Valeria accompanied me and was interested in my wounds and how I got them.
“Not of your business!” I answered harshly what she indicated with a snarl.
“Watch your tongue!”
“Sorry, I’m just angry with Clarissa. She did these.” I tried to console her, it wasn’t her fault that My Lioness almost ripped out my throat.
“Strange. She would only kill you if you would become a traitor.” She looked at me meaningful.
“What?!” I was shocked by this innuendo I almost forgot my anger. “No! I just said two forbidden names, as it turned out, what I got from… a certain person.” I almost debunked myself that I had a little conversation with the Goddess of Light.
“Oh.” She seemingly got that. “Her human mate and her dragon friend.” She nodded, probably on that it was a sensitive topic that should not be poked.
“Do you know anything about them?” I hoped one of her oldest co-fighter would know something. Meanwhile we reached the last chariot which was already packed up ready to the road. It was the last in the line, the furthermost point from Clarissa. I didn’t want to stay close to her.
“I love my life more than asking personal questions from her.” She snorted then waived goodbye and joined to a group of warriors. It was strange that I felt myself in safe surrounded with those beasts after one of them tried to kill me just a few minutes ago. I knew it wasn’t entirely Clarissa’s fault, she thought she lost them, that guy was her lover, her mate and the dragon was her friend. ‘If I would have lost my closest friends, I would probably be angry with anyone mentioning their name. But honestly, I have no idea. I have never even had a family until the recent events’ I was pondering ‘I’m not sure that I will ever have. My Goddess mother seemingly forgotten me again, my father is still a mystery.’ The only person I really loved was My Lioness… who almost killed me. I was confused and angry at the same time.
A few hours later while we were walking on the road I got in a conversation with Harvey as it turned out he had great sense of educated humor, so he made me forget my problems and even my injuries. He had read a lot of books; we were arguing over the best characters in the Solitude of Apple Trees for hours. Harvey was certain that Surella was the main protagonist who was a talented witch raised by lions. I thought differently as in my eyes the old smith, John Rockglider was the key person. We were sorting reasons to persuade the other and laughed a lot meanwhile. Max and Liam joined for a few minutes, they were walking up and down next by the caravan as guards and made the conversation more interesting.
At noon we stopped at a little clearing, but the equipment stayed on the chariots. We only grabbed a few blankets and rugs so I knew we will be up and on foot after an hour or two. It was tiresome to keep the pace with the lions I had no idea how Pa’adre was able to act like he would have been fifty years younger. He never complained, never asked for short rests, never sat onto the chariots. I raised my imaginary hat.
While I was looking for something to eat in my bag at a small campfire I just established using some twigs, dried leafs, ignited by magic, Clarissa appeared next by me. I tried to avoid her since the incident, but she had found me eventually.
“I would like to show you something.” She told me on a tone I couldn’t interpret. She used her well-known determined look, so I had no idea what she was up to that time.
“Like what? How to slice my throat open with a flick?” I asked, snorted, she just sighed, and her features had eased up a little.
“I’m sorry for your neck. I…” she stalled and sighed a big one again. ”I would like to show you why I did that in the hope that you will eventually understand my… encroachment.” She finished and rubbed her head to my chest.
“All right. I was angry with you, but I still like you Aunt Clarissa. Show me what you wanted.” I caressed her head shortly before she led me away from the camp. She only stopped when we were at least five minutes walking distance away from everyone. I hadn’t had the slightest idea what she was up to, so I followed her with rising suspicion.
“What do you know about the Battle of the Bone Tower?” She stopped, turned to me. I leaned to an oak tree and scratched my temple. There wasn’t much space left between us as the trees grown frequently in that area.
“Nothing specific.” I shrugged. It wasn’t well documented, most of the survivors were lions despite even humans were fighting it. Lions used to keep their secrets really well. I didn’t want to rely on rumors and gossip.
“All right then. I will show you what happened, with magic, so you will understand everything. You will be just a visitor in someone else’s body, witnessing the events, but you won’t be able to move or speak. It will be an odd feeling I admit.” She was uncertain about something for a second then looked at me with the question in her eyes.
“Are you sure about it? I may see things you probably want to keep it from others.” I warned her. I didn’t want to end up dead and buried in a forest because I saw some secret I shouldn’t have had.
“Don’t worry. Despite you will see my most kept secrets I think they will help you become what we are. You will see how I discovered that I’m a Demigod and how it led to… well… here.” She gesticulated widely and her tail was swinging in every direction. I thought she was still uncertain about it. But I couldn’t have denied the fact that my curiosity reached its climax. Witnessing a historical event in the past, living through it as a character was intriguing.
“All right then. What should I do?” I stood closer and she waved me to sit down in front of her. That way I had to look up to her face. Then her eyes started to glow in blue, the magic thickened around me.
“I will cast an illusion onto you. Don’t worry, you cannot get hurt despite whatever you will see or feel. I will be there the whole time protecting you.” Then she licked my face and her tongue was crepitate on my stubble, I smelled smoke. I almost asked her that how could have it been as I hadn’t had any stubble nor campfire in reach.
Suddenly I felt myself lightweight and the world was whirling around me. I couldn’t hold my balance, I fall back, but I didn’t hit the ground. I was falling through white whirling mist, which was extremely cold. My bones were blazing, my skin was frozen solid, then the feelings had changed, my skin was like I caught on fire, my bones were made from ice.
Something hit my feet and when I was able to see clearly, I was watching a campfire, surrounded by lionesses in plate armors. The armors were engraved with runes I did not recognize. My hand was also in gloves made from steel and it was holding a sharpening stone, working on the edge of a huge broadsword. First, I didn’t understand a single thing. Then I realized I was in a body of a human, but it wasn’t me. It was odd that I was only a watcher in a stranger’s body. I didn’t even know if I should have use “I” or “Him” referring to the events set in motion by someone else. I was confused.
“Ethan.” A tawny blur arrived to me in the corner of my eye, it was Clarissa, but she looked much younger. There wasn’t as many scars on her face and she looked more cheerful. As soon as she sat next to me, she leaned to my shoulder which was enormous. “You have to rest a little. Tomorrow we will attack the Pike Fortress” she whispered into my ear and licked it.
“All right my love.” I said on deep tone. It was almost growling so I understood why he was named as White Lion. “I know you are worried about the wizard, but there is nothing can stop us if we are together.” I quickly kissed her nose but, in that motion, there was more love than I have ever seen before. Ethan really loved Clarissa with everything he had. Why he hasn’t reached her after the war? That was the question I couldn’t ask, everything around me faded away and I was falling through the mist of ice and fire again.
I hit my feet to the ground. This time it was morning, the sun was peeking out from the mountains of the Kingdom. I was in a row with heavily armored lions and lionesses, humans and there was a huge dragon flying above our head. The army of hundreds of thousands; ready-to-kill beasts, the best warriors of humans and a dragon. It was the most impressive view I ever have, as Ethan’s eyes were scanning them. Everyone was ready, but for what?
“That will not be easy.” A lioness poked my thigs and pointed to the opposite direction. As I turned there was an even bigger army heading to our way. They used the long shadows of the rising sun to hide themselves. Then I remembered an important aspect of the Battle of the Bone Tower; An evil and powerful wizard Imonora had cursed an entire fortress near the border of Copperhill so he had humans possessed by dark powers to fight for him. I was a brave warrior as I only grabbed on my sword ready for everything. I was in his shoes thanks to the illusion; but if I were in his shoes for real, I would have run away till I faint. Gods and Goddesses in the Sky, they were at least a million!
The soldiers looked like they were tinted to black and dark blue, their skin was cracked wearing armor made from magic. It was enchanted or summoned, I couldn’t tell, but normal every-day steel wasn’t able to penetrate the plates and shields. Fortunately, probably because of Clarissa I had a sword with runes on it and the Sisterhood of Fangs were trained against magic users as well. The biggest problem was with the numbers we were fighting against.
“Ethan! Duck!” The dragon cried above me then landed with force the ground shook. He flattened out at least fifty from the enemy then turned around, scorching the rest. I had no time to complain and threw myself onto the loosened soil soaking in blood and other fluids.
“Careful Rionth! I’m not fireproof!” I scolded him but he only gave a dashed growl which was laughing dragon stile.
“We have bigger problems now.” He pointed to the Bone Tower where another dragon flew to the sky. Rionth was already heading to its way to fight it off. It was different the Rionth who was brown and normal looking in dragon terms. The newcomer was black with glowing red veins all around the body, the membrane between the wings were torn and even from the distance we could clearly see that he spitted cold flame from his mouth. Some black-blue-green fire that instantly evaporated everything and everyone in its way.
“Goddess of Light, help us!” I sighed silently. Suddenly Clarissa was next by me with glowing blue eyes.
“It was summoned from Cold Flame. We cannot defeat it! We must retreat!” She looked at me with the helpless rage in her eyes. She knew there wasn’t any mortal power enough to kill something sewed from the invention of the gods. We were doomed.
The whole army was crying in fear as that huge dragon which was twice the size of Rionth settled its way towards us. Clarissa used some spell to create a shield around the first row of the warriors and there was an old wizard who did the same on the opposite side of the battlefield. They tried to protect our people, but it was only a weak attempt. Nothing can stop Cold Flame just Ever Flame. Creating them, was out of our league.
The monster reached us with opened jaws spiting death and chaos onto the ground destroying everyone and everything on its way. I saw no escape, Rionth was arriving but he wasn’t fast enough. He tried to catch us, save us before the flames. He will be late only for seconds. When I was sure we will die I turned to Clarissa.
“I love you!” I cried to her. Before the black-blue-green flames reached me, I saw the panic in her eyes, it lit them up in white and silver, even radiated some mystical energy from her body. Then the darkness engulfed everything. I felt no pain.
I was falling again through the mist of fire and ice, it was taking more time than I was prepared so I had time to think. Imonora cursed an army, made them stronger than an average foot soldier, then when it wasn’t enough he summoned an impossible monster from Cold Flames, forced the lions and humans to retreat, ending the battle before the chances would have turn to the other side. And in the moment when the creature killed Ethan and probably Raidhyrrionth, as he was about to grab his friends to save them, Clarissa suddenly realized the potential in her and she embraced the Ether, became a true demigod.
My feet hit the ground and I was in a soldier far away from the distance. The monster was breathing fire to the ground probably to the point where Ethan and Clarissa were standing only a few seconds before. Suddenly a blinding white light had sweep away the black-blue-green flames, throwing the creature hundreds of meters away.
“What was that!?” The man I possessed cried, felling from his feet due to the shockwave. I suppose it was Clarissa and her demigod powers. She killed half of her own people with that blast.
“For the name of Attot! It is Ever Flame!” The old wizard’s jaw was on the ground next by me. “Who could wield that amount of power and not ceasing from existence in the next second?!” He dropped onto his knees with silently moving lips. He probably was praying not tearing his eyes away from a glowing lioness shaped creature in the distance fighting with a dragon made from Cold Flames.
Suddenly I was falling through the mist and arriving soo soon into the next body I almost cried up in surprise. But as I had no body to control, just travelling as a non-corporeal, metaphysical entity, I was relying on the host to cry up. Which she did.
“Die! Die!” I kept crying hysterically when I realized it was Clarissa and I was looking the events through her eyes that time. Her…my…Damn it is so confusing… so My tears were flowing from my eyes and muffled crying shook my body every time I shouted at the monster. I didn’t even realize in that sorrowful moment that the white light-blasts, slowly dismantling the creature, were Ever Flame, also destroying Clarissa’s brothers and sisters in arms.
I wanted to separate myself from her in that moment, but I couldn’t, I felt not just the physical things, but her emotions as well. I was one with her in every meaning. Probably because we are Demigods under the effect of this magic, she casted onto me. I couldn’t just see what she saw but feel what she felt in that moment. The world in pain, the solitude biting into her soul, the desperate longing to undo the past only for a moment to hug Ethan for a last time.
“Die!” She just cried and concentrated her pain, loneliness and grief into the words, which supported by the Ether shifted the world around her, sprinkling with the burning invention if Illigna.
“The Night Who Feast On Souls will never die!” A bodiless voice shouted into the air, making the Conjured Dragon even bigger. Despite the confident statement, the creature flew back into the direction of the Bone Tower.
“Everyone dies at the end!” Clarissa was growling silently. She stepped over the anger, her voice was ice-cold and determined. I knew that I would never want her to speak with me on that voice, it was forecasting the death even of the gods if they would have dared stand in her way to avenge Ethan and Rionth. I could feel the Ether sizzling in her veins, so much power flew through her I have never thought it was possible. But emotions can alter the magic. An angry wizard is not just dangerous because he is a wizard, but anger can amplify the amount of Source he can use. Now think what a battle-hardened, angry, demigod, lioness would be able to do with the Ether. I was sure I will witness from the first row.
Clarissa did claw into the air and the reality itself unstitched. She did not bend the space to travel, she tore apart and forced it around her. When the tattler of the reality faded away, she was on the top of the Bone Tower. Imonora was standing there with wide eyes. My jaw would have been a hundred miles below the surface if I would have been in his shoes; Someone just raped the reality and natural laws in front of his eyes which was impossible. Even magic has rules that you must follow, or it won’t work at all. I thought only gods were able to do such things.
“What are you?” He asked forming a ball of Cold Flame in his hands. He was indeed a powerful wizard.
“Your death!” She answered and as soon as he threw the ball, she breathed Ever Flame to cancel out. That was the moment when The Night Who Feast On Souls arrived and landed between them, also breathing but Cold Flames.
Clarissa quickly jumped away, rolled and jumped again to evade the continuous attack, meantime she shifted the reality around her to support the efforts. She did it so easily it was almost comical for me.
“You are strong!” Imonora was walking behind the dragon as it was the only thing that could have deflected the Ever Flame that Clarissa used time to time. “If we would join our talents, we would have been gods above the world.” He probably thought that she was aware of his words, but I knew, as an insider, she was about to unleash her wrath.
“I’m a Demigod already!” She cried and her body exploded into Ever Flame, she suddenly was burning, coating herself and everything around her in the invention of Illigna. It wasn’t painful, it was only some warm, tickling sensation all over, it didn’t even hurt.
The dragon tried to jump into the air from that sudden burst of the deadliest spell exists, but it was too big to move fast enough and caught by it. It was crying on a terrible high-pitched voice till it evaporated completely.
“You! You survived the Ever Flame!” Imonora was swallowing back a huge one. “It can wound even a God, how did you do that?” He was preparing himself for death already. I knew the answer, she was half Dragoness-God and Illigna was immune to every kinds of fire as she was born from it. Probably my Mother and Da’al was also. Maybe I was too, but I wasn’t insane enough to experiment with it.
“I’m the Ever Flame!” She cried, giving all her emotions to it. Suddenly Imonora was blasted into a million pieces only by the voice of Clarissa amplified by Ether. The she cried again in sorrow, and the Ever Flame was engulfing the top of the Bone Tower. She became the Flame of the Bone Tower in that moment in every meaning.
I was falling through the mist again and only wished I would have never seen these. It did not help me accept what I was and thought I understood My Lioness more than before, I only felt bad about what she lived through. Of course, I forgave her instantly what she did with my neck. Ethan and she was in love, Rionth died saving them. Maybe I would have reacted the same way. This little trip answered a few questions, but I still had a million more.
“Eric?” I heard her voice and I did not realize I arrived into another body. It was a man adjusting his tunic in front of a mirror. Behind him there was Clarissa without her armor. The time was somewhat later than the Battle of the Bone Tower. The man was tall and thin, obviously not a warrior, but he did not look like a wizard as well, just some noble in that fancy piece of cloth. We were under the shadows of extremely tall and thick trees. It wasn’t a house as we were under the bare sky only on the smoothly rammed ground.
“Yes my dear.” I had a strange intonation I did not recognize but I was speaking the lion language. “His name is Eric. I cannot tell you more about him.” I turned to the lioness frowning and snarling.
“It isn’t a common name but there must be a few hundred just in the Kingdom. Hm… more likely in Iceland as it is originated to that area if I remember correctly. It means Gift of the Gods, or Powerful Warrior, something like this, in their language.” She was thinking rubbing her jowls with her paw.
“if you say so.” I shrugged elegantly.
“Why is he important anyway?” She asked slowly walking to a table. I stepped to a bookshelf next by it which was made from beautifully craved wood and caressed the backbone of a book with one finger. The writing was from an ancient language only used among the highest-ranking nobles in the Sacred Forests. The title was “Children of Gods” from an unknown author. I had no idea how I was able read it as that was a language, I wasn’t familiar with. So, the body I was in was a Forester as we called them in Iceland. They never left the forests and cared more about the trees and bushes, the animals living among them than the outer world and the people.
“He is an asset that you will find useful. I was told by someone I trust.” I said slowly, carefully looking up onto a tree-branch where a colorful bird was sitting. Before the mist engulfed my vision again, I saw that the bird had golden eyes.
“Are you ok Eric?” I was sitting on the ground leaned to a tree and Clarissa was in front of me. As I tried to move the pain hit my every limb. But it was a good feeling as it was my body that time. I had enough of falling endlessly and possessing others not able to control them.
“It hurts. But I’m all right I think.” I said and massaged my forehead. It was a strange magic I never wanted to experience again. It was interesting to watch a Glimpse of the Past, a historically relevant evet but the side effects and the knowledge you may gather… I wasn’t sure it worth the efforts.
“Stiff muscles could be a side effect. It will fade away quickly.” She helped me standing up and licked my face. She looked impatient but worried at the same time. Could have been because I just saw a few things she wanted to keep as a secret. I did not know where to start or if I should have come up with the topic or remain silent.
“It was a really strange experience and…” I stopped, ran out of ideas to continue.
“If you have questions, ask. If you have remarks, make. If you want to forget, do. If you want to leave, go.” She sighed a huge, but I couldn’t interpret the meaning. She didn’t seem relieved. She was afraid that I will turn and never come back again. This made her uneasy which meant that I was important for her despite the recent events.
“I forgive you.” I said “I love you Aunt Clarissa.” I said and there was a moment of motionless silent. Clarissa inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly for a long time. Her eyes were full of gratitude, my forgiveness meant more to her than I thought.
“I love you too… nephew.” She said slowly.
After we chatted about Imonola and the power he possessed we agreed that maybe he was helped by a Dark God, no one is talented enough to use the Cold Fire except a demigod. Then she admitted she was afraid that I will run away after she showed me what she did as she was ashamed of what she was doing when she discovered her abilities. She killed a thousand lion by that Ever Flame Blasts, then she vanished for good. Also, she admitted that she was suspecting some funny business when she was told about the mysterious Eric who will help her in her mission. Then she found me by accident, a smart Magister, a talented wizard who was actually a demigod like her.
“It was my mother.” I sighed on the thought that she moved the strings from behind the curtain just to lure me away from my home and into the hugging paws of My Lioness.
“Maybe. Could be. In that case I will send her a thank-you page as you helped me a lot already and we are far from the end.” She smiled at me.
“I was just lucky.” I shrugged and laughed, as I’m a half-blooded luck factory.
“And the luck is with you again. Let’s take a detour behind that bush.” She told me and flapped my face with her tail invitingly. I was a little uncertain about that incest thing, but it was too complicated for me as she was tinted with the Essence and I was born on the conventional way, so it wasn’t really incest despite the relations between us. She was My Lioness and I was her Eric. I followed her fluttering tail and naughty laughter.
She didn’t waste her time with the fine nuances of exciting me, just simply pulled off my pants, threw them away knocking off from my feet, then lunged forward with slightly opened maw, engulfing my member. That happened within two and a half blinks and a lioness was munching on my maleness with force my eyes rolled back into my head.
“Mercy!” I cried on a low tone as I was sure two more slurps and she accidentally will swallow down my torn cock. Fortunately, she weakened her suction power and the pace to an optimal level. When she hit the right rhythm, it was a fantastic feeling. The tongue moving under my cock enveloping it almost fully. As she pushed it to the ridges of her palate rubbing into them slightly. As she sucked and sucked like a calf its mother’s tit, coaxing out the milk. The view of a deadly predator between your legs doing that and the enormous, spiked fangs next by your meat rod, the jaws powerful enough to rip your head off. This mixture of view and feelings had always amazed me and helped me reach the orgasm faster than with closed eyes or in the complete darkness.
She released my rock-hard cock in the next minute. The cold air after the warm and moist environment made shivers running up and down on my spine. But she only waited a moment and laid onto her back in front of me, invitingly presenting her lady parts.
“You know what I want.” She purred me on a voice I almost came then and there. She did not used any magic but the natural talents a lioness possessed. Speaking of which their pussy is what worth dying for. I swear they were made for men not for male lions, our mating organs can fit so perfectly that couldn’t be just a coincidence.
As I knelt to her opening and aligned my hip ready to experience the best thing on the whole world I looked up at My Lioness. Her eyes were flaring in the lust, the air was vibrating around her, but still, she did not use any magic. I was caught by the sweat scents and the warm, soft, purring body between my legs, under my palms and I leaned onto her. The tip of my cock found its way into her depths. The thermal shock was always unexpected. Lions have a few more degrees of body temperature than humans which is not important on the paper but significant in the real life. It runs through your nervous system, hits you from every direction.
Then as the glans disappears in the folds of her almost black ring of lips, the tightness attacks your senses. Even though she is twice as big as you she has a canal in your size. She was fitting me like a perfect glove. I only dipped my glans in her warm, moisture tunnel when I made myself firm that I will survive more than two thrusts fully. It was a hard task as she tried everything to milk me after the first inward movement.
She moved and I realized too late what she was about to commit. Murdering me probably, as she aligned her hind legs onto the back of my hips and simply pushed it, till I was balls deep. Then she grabbed my shoulders, curling into a ball of fur and lust, without any pause she rolled us away so that way she was on top of me sitting on my hip, while I was balls deep in her.
“I don’t have time for this.” She whispered into my ears not giving me enough time to pondering on the meaning, her internal muscles crushed my cock.
Lionesses have tapered shape pussy with muscle rings and perfect control over them. She was an expert in that meaning so the feeling was like I pushed my cock into a pit of angry, coiling snakes. Slippery, warm, massaging pit of snakes, milking me. I could only sigh in surprise when proving her words, she also moved up halfway than hit my hips with hers, burying my cock to the hilt again.
“Goddess of Light, have mercy!” I sighed grabbing her paws. After the third round I was over with the world and everything, I could only look into her eyes, pulling her head to my mouth and kissing her mouth meanwhile I reached the top of the pleasure. We moaned into the other’s mouth as she came with me when I started to spurt my liquids into her welcoming body.
Then we collapsed totally exhausted despite it did not take more than three minutes. I felt myself happy, satisfied and in love with My Lioness. I call that a good cure for stiff muscles.
Five minutes later I was pulling up my pants which wasn’t an easy task with my shaking legs and hands. I was used in every meaning of the word, but I did not regret a thing.
“Let’s go back into the camp, we will stop at the nearby creek before sunset, but we have to pack up and go in an hour.” She said and walked away. I could swear her movements were a little uncertain too. I was proud myself that I was able to satisfy a magnificent lady like her.
To be continued….
