Comfort in Fright
A beast and a human meet but there is no fear to be found in the human for when faced with a creature not of his own kind, he finds an odd comfort.
Leaves crumbled underneath gentle steps trekking through the woods as a cool breeze followed. There were enough leaves on the branches above to create a neat canopy that kept the moonlight from shining through while old black spire lanterns lit the path at the sides. A lone figure walked along the path wearing a hoodie long enough to fall below their knees and cover their hands. Black hair obscured both of his eyes in a mess that bounced against the Autumn breeze. Lanterns illuminated almond-colored cheeks dotted with pale freckles. A bag hung off of his shoulder with one arm resting against it to keep it close to his hip. The stone path ended at the doors of a cathedral built of old stone with black metal curling around it to keep it secure while pointed spires reached toward the sky as if extending in the hopes that God might meet them just below the clouds. Not since the old cathedral had been built had any sort of holy presence walked through it. A cursed beast had been said to exist within and most people were smart enough to steer clear from the desecrated location. That being said, the doors were still opened and the human still stepped through the threshold without fear or concern.
Ander had come here seeking a bit of peace and quiet, and it certainly was quiet. The door creaked as it opened and again as it closed but that remained the only sound until the door shut. On the outside, the cathedral had looked kept well enough to warrant a daytime visit to admire its splendor in sunlight and the insides were kept in a similar manner. Ander had expected crumbling stone and wood to fall on him along with broken pews lining the chapel but that wasn’t the case at all. Bronze held candles with flickering flames at the tips hanging on the pillars rising to the ceiling. A carpet laid on the floor heading between dark wood pews that appeared to be in pristine condition. He walked between them with his hand out to feel over the smooth surfaces before he found himself at the altar. Everything appeared as it should in a cathedral he supposed. No sign of that cursed beast people in town talked about. Disappointing to say the least.
When he got to the frontmost pew, he sat down and brought his pack up onto his lap. He looked from one side to another for a moment before sighing, drowning in the blissful silence free of prying eyes and buzzing voices. From his bag, he produced a sketchbook and a set of pens and pencils. The sound of pages being flipped one by one echoed in the grand chapel until Ander landed on a blank page. He hummed as he took one of the pencils to start scratching out lines on the paper. They weren’t neat but they were drawn over and over again with a light pass until he got them where he wanted to be. He didn’t know what he wanted to draw tonight but he supposed he should start with something to warm up. The basic shape of the cathedral came to him from memory with many details missing but he kept on scribbling until he felt like he had a solid base. He noted how the buttresses were missing but it didn’t have to be perfect. It was only for practice after all.
Cool blue light replaced the warm oranges of the flames as the color of the candles shifted while a chill wind passed through the chapel. Ander’s eyes were still focused on the page on his lap and his hand moved with steady strokes to add a few details he remembered to the cathedral and a few others that his mind could come up with that he thought might be interesting. The chill air did not touch him, the azure flames did not draw his gaze. Chimes began to play like a priest calling for peace in the great chapel but the human still did not pay it any mind. A shadow dropped from the darkness of the ceiling, a drop of ink on the flickering blue flames of the candles spreading on the stone floors in front of Ander. It rose and rose until bristling black fur was revealed hued with specks of crimson along its back. Great wings opened and sharpened long ears flicked in the air along with a long tail whipping back and forth. Fangs glimmered in the candle’s lights as the beast opened its maw and strode forward with bright violet eyes whispering foul intent.
Ander still did not see what was happening until the shadow of the creature made it difficult to see what he was drawing. When he looked up, he caught a good look at what appeared to be a large bat with digits outstretched and ready to grab him while those wings blotted the light. The face seemed almost fox-like with an angular snout but the fangs that it showed were no less impressive for it.
When he still didn’t react the beast hissed and when Ander turned his attention back to his sketchbook, the beast coughed and straightened, wings folding together as it tilted its head and muttered, “Excuse me...Are you confused or perhaps in shock?”
While scribbling, Ander responded, “I think that I’m about to die. Maybe. The rumors never really said what you did to people.”
The creature hummed, “I see...Doesn’t that frighten you? Death isn’t exactly the worst thing that can happen. There are types of torture that you could never imagine.”
Ander nodded, “True.”
“And that doesn’t frighten you?” Asked the beast.
He kept quietly scribbling away at what he was working on while answering, “It does but I’m focusing on something to get my mind off things. What is it that you usually do?”
The beast breathed out, “I usually frighten people and toy with them until they run out of here. Maybe I offer them a wish or two if they stick around with promises of cursed consequences. Have you met many oddities in your time, little one?”
As the scribbling stopped, Ander answered, “I don’t think so but I’ve met a lot of monsters. Mostly my own kind.”
Silence filled the air between the beast and the human before Ander began to draw again. Lines scratched over the paper to add a few details to the exterior of the cathedral, a moon hanging overhead as he tried to set a scene from imagination rather than pure memory. The shadow of the creature hung over him again making it rather difficult to see what he was doing but he still persevered despite it. If the beast was going to eat him or kill him where he sat then at least he would be doing what he loved in his final moments. Really, he should have felt some sort of fear, some sort of reproach at the idea but there was nothing but a dull numbness echoing in his body maybe because he never truly felt like he was alive.
“Would you like a table for that?” Asked the beast while hovering a claw over the page.
Ander blinked and looked up at the beast, “A table for this? Do you mean...So I can have a hard surface to draw on?”
The beast nodded, “Yes. I can’t imagine that’s comfortable or productive in the slightest.”
“I guess, I’m used to it.” Ander said with a small smile, “Sitting against trees and walls with my legs as the only hard surface that I have. I don’t mind staying here.”
“But if I’m offering?”
He pressed his lips together while looking down at the paper. Even if it was a trap it was still a tempting offer. Finally, he gathered his things in his bag and hopped off of the pew with the bag slung around his shoulder, “Okay, I’ll accept your offer.”
“Strange human...Accepting an offer from a creature you don’t know could end with your death or with some sort of harm coming to you. Be more careful and ask about what I’m offering.” Said the beast with a huff.
Ander looked at the ground before looking up into the beast’s violet eyes, “Oh, I guess you’re right. What are you offering?”
The beast narrowed their eyes at Ander before sniffing, “Too late. You’ve already fallen for my trap.”
“Oh. If that’s the case then I guess I have. Since I’m in your clutches, I’m all yours.” Ander said with a chuckle.
Clawed digits from those wings came to clutch his chin while the large bat muttered, “You truly are a fool...I don’t think it would be any fun to terrorize you in genuine but if you’re giving yourself to me so freely then come. We’ll go to my domain where you can have an actual chair and table to draw on. Then, you’ll have to draw me.”
As the beast of the cathedral turned around to start stalking away, Ander followed along while speaking, “That sounds fair but I have a question if you’d be willing to answer.” When the creature raised a wing as if to give the signal, he asked, “What’s your name?”
The creature stopped suddenly enough that Ander bumped into their back with a grunt. Their head turned so one of those bright violet eyes was visible over the shoulder as they spoke, “My name? What a dangerous thing to ask. A name is something powerful to spirits, beasts and other beings of magic but I know what you mean. Call me Irna.
“Thanks for letting me know, Irna. My name is Ander.” He said with a smile.
Irna rolled that single purple eye he could see before they kept on walking. He followed without another word and kept his questions to himself as they arrived at a door that would normally lead outside. While the creature worked the handle on the door, Ander tried to get a better look at what they were doing by peeking around Irna’s flank. They didn’t seem to be doing anything special with the door but when it opened and Irna stepped back, a hallway awaited them rather than the Autumn evening.
“After you little artist.” Said the creature with a fang-filled grin.
He figured that the grin was supposed to fill him with a sense of dread but he found the hospitality refreshing and inclined his head before heading through the door, Irna furrowing their brow the entire time. The hall appeared like the cathedral itself with fine stone and bronze on the walls that suspended candles tipped with blue flames. Ander’s eyes drank in the sights as he turned his attention from one corner to the other wondering where he truly was. Before long, the door shut behind him and the shadow of his host headed toward another door to open it. Ander followed and looked up at Irna wondering if he was allowed to go first or not and they inclined their head allowing him to head inside. A room awaited him adorned with various things. Bookcases lined the walls containing various artifacts among the books like skulls and jewels. Another corner of the room had flowers hanging from the wall that bloomed and glowed with a strange light.
Irna stepped into the room and past him to raise a wing. A table appeared with dark wood similar to the floorboards with a chair that they grabbed and pulled out for him, “Welcome to my domain. My little home where I control every single thing. You see, you at least had a chance of escape back in the cathedral that I desecrated but now you’re trapped!”
“Did you desecrate the cathedral? I thought people said that happened when it first was built. Are you that old?” Ander asked while setting his bag on the table.
The bat frowned and folded their wings together, long digits over one another as if they were crossing their arms, “No I'm not that old. I moved in after the rumors happened. I think a rafter fell on a priest and they thought it was haunted...But that’s beside the point. Aren’t you terrified? Aren’t you frightened now that you have no way out?”
Ander took a seat and looked around the room again before shrugging, “I did come here for peace and I guess I got that.” He then pulled his sketchbook out along with the appropriate tools while Irna scowled and hissed, “Now...You wanted me to draw you, right?”
Irna looked at him with a raised brow and a twitch of the mouth, “Does this not frighten you? Does this truly not even elicit a response out of you!?” They said while opening their wings and baring their fangs. The walls behind them began to splinter as blue flames gathered around them, Irna’s words echoing in the air as they leaned in closer, “Do you not have any self-preservation at all in this stupid little head of yours? Do you feel nothing? Are you broken?”
A tear came down his cheek unbeknownst to him and he rubbed it away with the back of a hand while sniffling, “Oh. Sorry. Let me just uh.” Another tear came and then another while he kept batting them away, “Sorry...Sorry.”
He kept apologizing while Irna’s ears pulled back and the expression on their face softened, magic fading as they muttered, “Wait...Victims cry but I get the feeling that you aren’t begging for your life. What are you apologizing for?”
“That I’m broken. That I can’t feel the way you want me to feel so I’ve just ended up disappointing someone else.” The tears were flowing now rather than dripping and he kept trying to push them away to no avail getting the sleeves of his hoodie wet.
“Why should you apologize for those things?” The creature said with a grunt while their hands hovered over Ander’s shoulders, “I’m not scary enough, I guess, and maybe you’re just different. You didn’t disappoint me. Just threw me for a loop. Nothing wrong with being different.”
A choked bout of laughter came from Ander’s mouth he sniffled and shook his head, “You’re comforting me? A big scary monster with pretty eyes and scary fangs is telling me that it is okay to be different? I must be dreaming.”
“D-Dreaming? Are you stupid? I could tear your throat out right now! If you want to dream I can make you experience nightmares upon nightmares!” Huffed the creature.
Ander sighed, “But instead you chose to give me a kind word...That’s more than what most people I’ve met would ever do.” Once his tears were dried, Ander grabbed his sketchbook, “Right, I should get to drawing you.”
The creature snorted, “That was more of a ruse to try and get you annoyed or fearful of the fact that I have full control over you but nothing I do is working so may as well go through with it.” Irna then rolled their eyes, “We could always just talk about you instead.”
“I don’t know about that,” Ander said quietly while picking the right pencil.
Irna leaned in with a raised brow, “You accept a strange offer from something you’ve never seen before and yet, grow discomforted by the idea of a discussion about yourself? Now I really want to have this conversation.”
A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth while he started scratching a few lines on the paper, “If you could take a pose of some sort while grilling me, then I think I can manage having a conversation about that.”
Bright violet appraised him before the creature shrugged and took a step back. They folded their wings and stood at full height with their tail curled around their legs creating an imposing statue before him. Ander looked at the creature before back down at the page to continue his lines now that he had a pose.
“So, why is it that you do not fear me?” Irna asked.
While he kept scratching away at the paper, Ander muttered, “Well, I told you that there were a lot of monsters in my life that were of my kind. I meant it. My parents weren’t great and they carted me off to college as soon as they could and chose what I was studying. I’m not even going to college for art and I mean, I guess I’m good at programming but I don’t know what to do with it since I never thought of what I wanted to do. They never really let me do anything, just yelled at me to get out of the way. Now as some sort of adult, nothing I do is right in their eyes. Getting picked on at school in various ways I’d rather not get into also didn’t help. I don’t even like to talk much...”
Ander kept his hand as steady as he could through the conversation but if a line came undone he just did it again and erased the excess. This was the only thing he could correct in his life without being attacked. While he worked, Irna spoke quietly, “And why are you speaking now, to me of all things?”
He chuckled, “I thought, that this would be my last conversation and still kind of think these are my last words. You did say that I was yours or something like that. If you ate me or killed me, I guess that would be just the way it ends.”
Irna sniffed, “I don’t usually eat my victims. A little shock of fear is enough to draw out the energy that I crave.”
“Oh? Is that the only way you can get your fill?”
The creature shrugged, “Most emotions draw out some sort of energy. A sip is usually enough. Drinking blood and sex work as well.”
His cheeks flushed with a bit of color at the last method while he continued to move his hand, “I see...Sorry I didn’t end up being the meal you expected.”
Irna raised their wings with a huff, “Bah! You’re not supposed to apologize! You’re supposed to get indignant and tell me that you’re not some sort of object to sate my hunger!”
“You want me to fight you?” Ander asked with a tilt of his head.
The creature’s wings folded again as they muttered, “Well, it would be a nice change of pace. Used to be an exorcist or two would come around and give me a bit of excitement but now all I get are drunk couples and the occasional thrill-seeker.”
Ander hummed and tapped the end of the pencil on his lip before resuming his work, “I guess I could yell or maybe say an insult or two.”
“It wouldn’t be organic.” Irna said with a sniff, “You’re already doing my bidding right now.”
After a few moments of the only sound playing between them being the scratching of his pencil on the paper, Ander muttered, “Thank you.”
Irna tilted their head, “For forcing you to draw for no compensation?”
He shook his head with a small smile in response, “No. For getting me to talk. I feel a bit lighter. Maybe I can actually get a good night of sleep when I finally get to my apartment.”
“Won’t your parents be a problem?”
Ander sighed, “I live alone now but they do send me a lot of messages.”
Flickering shadows crept over the page and he looked up to see that Irna had stepped forward, “Then stay here for the night.”
“Stay here, with you?” He asked with a tilted head.
Clawed digits moved to brush aside his hair revealing bright amber eyes as the creature spoke, “Yes. Although confusing, this night has been entertaining. If you wanted, you could stay here with me and we could keep talking or you could keep drawing me if you desired.”
Again, color touched his cheeks as he peered into the creature’s eyes, “Are you saying you want me around?”
Strands of hair were clutched tenderly as Irna’s lips pulled back to reveal a fang-filled grin, “I’m saying I find you fascinating and I want to keep enjoying you for the evening, so yes, I want you around.”
“Uh, you’re getting a bit close aren’t you?” He asked while his cheeks began to blaze.
Irna’s grin faded to a small sharp smirk while they tilted their head, “So, I threaten you, I posture at you and I even take you into my domain and yet, now you are concerned? When I show just a little bit of interest in you?”
He tried to look down but the digits on his hair moved down to clasp his chin and bring it up, “I just, I just don’t understand where this is coming from.”
Lips closed together until they were a few breaths apart while Irna answered, “I told you, sex works too. Besides, wouldn’t it be nice as payment for you?”
A spark of emotions struck through his body with a mix of uncertainty and fear sliding together with a bit of arousal, “I...I guess that would be true. Just, I don’t know. I feel like you could do so much better than a sad human. Maybe another creature or a different human.”
Words were shut away behind a mouth that closed over his. Ander’s eyes grew wide as his lips parted and the creature’s long tongue pushed inside. The blazing heat in his cheeks spread to the rest of his body while his mind grew foggy. He tried to get out of his chair and nearly fell out only to be caught by those powerful wings. Static gathered in his mind made up of the combined sensations rolling forth from that kiss grinding together. The tongue in his mouth dipped deeper, sliding ever so closer to his throat as if they were robbing his breath. Both of his hands came up to clutch on to the creature’s body, fingers looping through the fur. Strong digits slid back and then up to his head to grasp at his cheeks as the beast continued the kiss until he was practically drowning. Their lips met for a few more choice seconds before they parted, the tongue in his mouth coming out to slide over his lips before it pulled back all the way.
“There we are.” Whispered Irna, “That’s what I wanted to see. You’re shivering and finally showing a bit of fear but it is mixed with so many other things. Aren’t you disgusted that a monster like me would touch you like this?”
At first, his mouth remained shut before opening but even then, he had no words for them. He tried again and his words were small, “I mean...Why would I be disgusted? You’re beautiful and you’ve treated me better than most people I’ve met.”
The sound of Irna chuckling rumbled at the back of his head as they leaned close to kiss his neck and breath out, “Dangerous. Do you know what I could do to you?”
He swallowed to try and wet his throat and spoke through cracked words, “You could bite out my throat, break me in half, tear my mind asunder with magic and probably a lot worse.”
Fangs were bared with a hiss causing his body to lock up as he felt the points against his neck. The hiss turned to laughter and those fangs moved away as Irna spoke, “Not scared, are you?”
Cheeks burning again, his hands came up to grab their cheeks and bring their mouth down on his neck, his body shuddering as he felt their warm breath curling over his skin as he muttered, “Yes...But not of you. I’m only afraid of failing you.”
Irna’s expression shifted to a small dot before lips pulled back, shaking as they revealed fangs held tight in a snarl. They then rumbled against his neck, “Of all the stupid things to say to ruin this mood.” Before he could apologize, Irna leaned back so their eyes met, one stray digit of theirs brushing along his cheek, “You won’t fail me. There isn’t even an expectation to begin with! We just met and I’m a monster for fuck's sake! Be more concerned about yourself!”
“Concerned about myself? What a weird thing to say.” He said with a small chuckle while trying to avert his gaze.
The claw at his cheek pressed against the skin as Irna’s voice came with a hiss, “You’re a strange human and maybe that isn’t a bad thing but let me ask you something before I continue taking what I want...Would you want to wish those little problems of yours away?”
Ander was forced to look into Irna’s eyes as a claw drew his chin up while he muttered, “It would be nice, I can’t lie.”
“Then you would wish for the death of those who have harmed you?” Irna said with a whisper that curled along his back.
He shook his head as best as he could while he answered, “No. I wouldn’t want that to happen.” He then saw their eyes narrowed and before they could say anything he continued, “Part of me might want that. I know. Please don’t look into me and tell me that, please don’t force that side of me out to the surface or anything like that. I just know that it exists. I know that I can be mean, I can be hateful because I’ve hurt so much and I don’t want that. Please, Irna...Don’t.”
Irna continued staring at him with that sharp gaze while they leaned closer to press their maw against his neck, “I should do it. Curse your little existence and make you suffer. Make you beg some more for me to spare you of your inner demons.” Their eyes then closed as they breathed in deep, “But I don’t feel like it. Your misery isn’t what I’m after. You’ve soured that meal.”
“Oh uh...I’m s—”
“None of your apologies.” They said with a hiss, “Enough little artist. Let me enjoy a different kind of dish.”
The creature began to peck from their throat back up to their lips where Irna’s mouth closed over his to let their tongue dip inside and twist against his own again. He trembled as their wings engulfed every portion of his body until he had been sheltered from any source of light. Ander could not see within the cloak of Irna’s wings but he did not feel panic without the light. The feeling of their mouths and tongues melding together remained a warm spot in the cool darkness that urged him closer to the source of the heat. Their embrace of lips deepened further than before with his mind swimming in the affection. Apprehension and concern that he wasn't doing enough grew only to be snuffed out by a strange presence twisting inside of his head, replacing those negative emotions with sprouts of hunger and confidence. Ander dipped closer to the kiss, his eyes shut tight now as he tried to focus entirely on the other’s maw. His tongue could feel the fangs that had threatened to tear his throat out but they remained perfectly still as if frozen in fear that they might harm him. In this, he realized that Irna cared for him more than anyone he had ever come to know. Many would be sad to find that such a monster was the only creature capable of loving them in their lifetime but he cherished the fact and only found an elated joy in the warmth that rose through his body.
Wings parted again allowing light to touch his body but the kiss continued with his eyes shut until he felt clawed digits brushing at his cheeks. Their kiss ended with a collective sigh that twisted together and his eyes opened. Irna stepped back and he watched as they brought out a wing to show to direct their attention to the room. A bed had replaced the other objects in the room, or perhaps, it was better to say that they had somehow been transported to another room entirely. Candles hanging on the wall lit the room with a warm glow revealing a few shelves nearby with books and various little bottles.
Before he could pose a question, Irna’s voice came with a breath, “Strip.”
His cheeks brightened while he pointed at himself and stammered, “Really? Right now? Are we actually going to…?”
Irna rolled their eyes but smiled, “Yes or should I do it for you?”
Quiet steps took him toward the bed as he placed a hand at the edge while looking down at it, “Well, I have to admit, it would be nice to feel your claws on me again.”
As if summoned by the mention, he felt claws at his front grabbing the bottom of his hoodie to start bringing it up while another set of digits slid up his belly causing him to shudder. He didn’t hear Irna moving but their chin laid atop of his head and he could practically feel them smiling while their digits trailed up to the bottom of his chest. Ander could at the very least keep his legs from buckling but his body trembled like a leaf beneath the gentle touch of the monster tugging his hoodie off bit by bit until he had to raise his arms to help with the process. Next came his pants, a clawed digit looping through the waist of his jeans to tug gently until the button popped. The zipper came down with a metallic tremble that sent a shiver up his spine to signal the final approach.
Jeans and boxers were tugged down at the same time letting his member out into the air while stray digits passed over it, a soft chuckle toying over his head as Irna muttered, “Already up for me? Idiot without a shred of self-preservation. I’ll solve that in time but for now, I’ll enjoy your lack of caution to the fullest.”
One claw passed over the top of his shaft, stopping at the tip before Irna took their wings away and stepped back. Ander turned and took a seat on the bed, legs squeezed together as if he could hide his arousal as the creature approached him. They came down onto their knees surprising him as they lowered their head until he felt their snout touching his thigh. A tongue slid from their open maw to drag against his bare skin causing him to shudder. The prick of fangs on skin added to the motion of his body, the tongue continuing toward his crotch until it was twisting around his shaft. Irna’s drooling maw opened wide above his member before it came down swallowing every inch in one go. Dripping warmth encased his shaft with drool and that long tongue that began to move back and forth along his length. His hips jerked in response to the bat's tongue and maw around his member. He couldn’t help but wrap his arms around their head and grind against their mouth. Strong wings curled around his waist in response while Irna continued to suckle on his shaft.
Pleasure and pressure built in his gut while an odd sensation began to gather in his mind. It was a nameless and nebulous thing that served as a blockade against the various doubts that attempted to invade this precious moment. Warm breath spread over his crotch and stomach as the creature inhaled and exhaled through their nostrils, huffing while they continued to work diligently on his shaft. The beast’s fur served as a comfort against the constant pressure he felt in his gut from the rising arousal urging him closer and closer to an orgasm. He tried to hold himself back but the claws at his thighs and around his hips seemed to pull him closer, pull his presence deeper into that inviting until he found himself lost in a grinding pleasure until he gasped, hips jerking forward a few more times while his seed was spilled onto their tongue. Irna kept their nose rooted against his crotch while he trembled, his eyes shut while he rode out the pleasure of his climax. When he finished, Irna pulled back inch by inch until their mouth popped off of his member with a slurp. They then opened their great maw to show him the sticky seed that he had spilled, his body shivering in response as they closed their maw and gulped it down with a smile.
Words escaped him as Irna rose to their full height and planted a claw on his chest to urge him to move until his back met the bed. They then brought themselves onto the bed as well, body over his as they turned to bring their heat above his face. His cheeks burned a bit when he saw the slit between their legs. It was only fair that he returned the favor and so his hands came up to feel over the warmth, spreading it slowly to reveal the bat’s insides. He brought his mouth up to plant a kiss on the exposed sex, eyes shut as he let his tongue out to drag against it. A reward came immediately in the form of a hissing sigh that trailed through the air and urged his head to dip forward just a bit more to let his tongue slide inside. Their hips came down to push his tongue in deeper and smother his face with muscle and fur. He didn’t mind the pressure and his mouth continued to plant kisses along the heat as if he were treating this like kissing a lover. Inexperience kept his tongue frozen in place at times as if he were uncertain of where to go but he soon found which spots brought shivers through the large monstrous body seated atop of him.
Ander’s cock began to grow again from the excitement of having this creature over his face while their noises signaled a pleasure that he was creating. He loved every little second of those sounds; even the hisses and growls as bestial as they were counted as music in his heart as he continued to lap away at their heat. His movements slowed a bit as they began to move their hips back and forth as if they were riding his tongue, their insides tightening further as they continued to grind on his face. Irna’s movements continued to grow faster until he could only remain still and allow his lips to come into contact with their heat in a smothered kiss that caused his body to shudder. He soon heard a groan roll through the air as their hips stopped atop of his face, sex grinding against his mouth as he felt the gush of their climax.
Their heat came off of his face along with their body as Irna moved to straddle his lap. The large creature looked down at him with bright violet eyes speckled with what he swore were spots of red reflecting their hunger. He opened his mouth to say something but quickly clamped it shut as one of their large hands came over his head to hold him down while the other grabbed him by the hips. They brought their hips up and started to grind and adjust themselves so the tip of his shaft brushed against the entrance of their sex. His breaths gathered against the palm of the creature holding him down while he looked up into that eternal gaze. Irna’s mouth hung open now as mist flowed out and between sharp fangs. One of his hands moved between his legs to clutch his shaft to help them, urging it between their wet folds until he made the connection. The warmth was intense enough to make the rest of his body feel cold as they dipped their hips down all the way, pushing aside his hand and engulfing his length in sticky heat.
As Irna began to move their hips up and down, their words came along with that mist, “I could have you any way I want. Could have magicked myself something to pound into your cute butt and you probably would have accepted it.” When he nodded, that open maw pulled back into a wide grin before they leaned down with their mouth hovering over his head, “So damn cute. I think I’ll keep you. That’ll be your curse and my thanks for sating my hunger tonight. Now, dream with me.”
Their hips rocked back and forth while they kept hold of his head and side to keep him steady. He tried to push up against their strength but his thrusts were meager and pathetic compared to the monster’s power pounding down atop of him. The grinding pleasure he felt returned to his gut as a pleasant pressure that rose to the top of his head. Arousal tugged his mind into a strange mire that he couldn’t quite shake off. His world seemed to twist and swirl until his surroundings faded away leaving only the bat above him with those lovely purple eyes gazing down at him while Irna continued grinding down on him. When he thought that the building sensations might become too much to handle, Irna’s hands moved away from his mouth and body to wrap both of their wings around his form to cloak him in that loving darkness that sparkled with the starlight of their eyes. Ander breathed out, wondering whether or not this magic was simply part of the moment or part of some sort of machination on the part of the creature riding his shaft. His hand came up looking for any kind of support and he found their body soon enough through a coat of fur, his face coming up to press against the bat’s chest while he let himself dip deeper into pure darkness to keep himself grounded.
Flowering warmth at the back of his mind seemed to whisper echoing encouragements that urged his hips to keep trying to move even though he couldn’t contend with their strength. His raw length pulsing inside of Irna’s heat reminded him that there was no condom keeping him from unloading inside of them. A small worry escaped through the blockade that he might be making a mistake, not in the sense that he was putting himself in danger but rather, that Irna might’ve forgotten something important.
A whisper in the darkness brought a shiver down his spine as the grinding slowed to a gentle back and forth, “Worried about me still? Hush...I know what I want. Let loose and relax my little artist.”
Those words brought his hips up but he did not give in entirely as he tried his hardest to make it last. Soft chuckles echoed through the sweetened darkness forming invisible bindings around his body that kept him as close to the bat’s body as he could possibly manage while their hips began to grind and pushed down on him again. His breaths were shaky huffs that spread across Irna’s chest while the dream that he had been trapped in continued drawing him ever closer to another climax. The heat engulfing his shaft continued to tighten as if it were bringing him in, his length twitching with regularity now as he inched ever closer to the end of this session. Such a thought brought a mist to his eyes as he wondered if he would ever see them again. The first in a long time who had ever given him a shred of kindness, who had yelled at him to worry about himself rather than to beat him into submission.
One more movement of the hips was all he could handle before his shaft began to twitch and release warm seed inside of those heated depths, his body shaking while he clung onto Irna, muttering the entire time, “I wish to stay with you. What’s the point in dreaming if I have to wake up?”
Irna’s words kissed his ears while their bodies melded together and his mind began to grow blank from the pleasure striking him and more, “Hush...I already told you that I’m keeping you. That is the curse I’m giving you, so deal with it. Now rest.”
Sleep began to claim him bit by bit until he was forced to accept rest. He still didn’t believe he would see them again when he woke and perhaps he would have accepted being a meal rather than never seeing them again. When his eyes opened, he sat up with a sudden start and looked around to see that he was back at the cathedral. Had he fallen asleep on the pews? Looking to his side he saw that his sketchbook was sitting there opened to a particular page. He brought it up and dusted it off before his eyes grew wide as he saw the portrait of Irna there in perfect detail. When he looked up, he noticed that the sunlight was filtering through the cathedral’s windows. The morning! Ander had somehow managed to sleep through the entire night but where was Irna? His clothes were on his body and his belongings were next to him, but where was the beast that supposedly had cursed him with their presence?
A shadow hung over him when anxiety was about to transfuse into panic. He froze and looked up as he saw those bright violet eyes staring down at him, “Good morning.” Irna said with a smile, “Scared you, didn’t I?”
Ander returned the smile hard enough that his cheeks hurt as he spoke, “I thought you were gone. I thought it was just some sort of weird nightmare! Does this mean…?”
Irna hummed, “That everything that happened last night was real? Why, yes it was. Your mind was fun to toy with. It was easy to dampen those anxieties of yours while letting your natural confidence bloom and I look forward to seeing more of it.” When he opened his mouth to blurt out a response, they shut him up by bringing both of their wings around his shoulders to rest their chin atop of his head and mutter, “I will be with you wherever you go. Call me with your heart, with your voice or mind...And I’ll be there. I promise not to kill the people bothering you but I might hurt them just a little.”
He coughed, “Hurt them? Irna, you can’t just—”
His words were cut when he noticed that they were gone. Laughter whispering through the cathedral as he got up. He supposed that he should be glad that the bat wasn’t going to hurt anyone and at the same time, he couldn’t keep the smile off of his face. Ander walked out of the cathedral feeling lighter than ever before. None of his problems had been truly solved but he had help, he had someone who cared and that kept his fractured heart held together.
