#10 of The Squall

Well, here's the next chapter. FINALY! XD Again, the characters belong to me. Please do not use without my permission. I'm very sorry it took so long. Hopefully I'll get the next chapter out sooner. But I'm not going to be making any promises. XD

Shaun's vision was hazy as he started to come to. His eyelids felt like they weighed a good 20 pounds and he struggled to open them.

"W-where...*cough cough* Where am I?.....H-hello?...*cough* Is there anyone..*cough* there?" He managed, coughing due to the smell of the chloroform still embedded into his senses. As his vision cleared, he began to notice more and more details of his surroundings. He was in a very bland and sterile looking room. The Floor, walls, and ceiling where an almost blindly bright white and what wasn't white, was chrome, which made the room all the more brighter as the shiny surface reflected the light back into the room. Shaun tried to get up, but found that his wrists where bound behind his back and his legs where bound to the chair he was sitting in.

"W-what the hell is going on?...H-heeelp!...Someone help me!" He yelled. The only response was a suave yet cruel sounding chuckle.

"About time you woke up." Said a lion as he opened the door and stepped into the room, a predatory grin on his face. "I've been...eager to meet you." The way he spoke was as if he was about to devour a juicy steak after a long while of not eating or that of a sex hungry person about to advantage of someone.

"W-who are you?" He asked, a strong sense of fear already welling up inside him.

"Oh me...Hmm well, I could be your worst nightmare,-" said the lion in a almost stern tone as he sauntered up to the restrained human and began to caress his chest with a paw, his smile turning more suggestive "-or a dream come true."

The human flinched before instincts took over and he began to his attempt at bargaining his way out. "L-look as flattered as I am, I'm not really comfortable with the man on man love so if you couldMMPH." Shaun's attempt at bargaining had failed miserable his Charles quickly moved his paw upwards, covering his mouth. "

"Oh we'll climb that wall when we come to it...mmmmm and hard. But, there's something else I'd rather talk about.

To say Jess and Ashley were lightening quick at gathering the others would be an understatement. They had managed to leave Ashley's place, head back to Jessica's hometown, gatherer up the others, and arrive at their current location in a matter of a few hours, the bovine's large strides able to cover ground far better and faster than a micro car. They all sat in what a lot of people liked to call "The Place" which was nothing more than a large abandoned warehouse which quickly became a perfect place for couples to come and have a romantic evening filled with cuddles, coos, and kisses...among other things. Now, however, it was a base camp. Jess, Tony, Tina, Ashely, and Beth all sat around one another, discussing any and all ways they could use to rescue Shaun....but the only thing they could accomplish was build up more and more frustration.

"Damn it! How in the fuck are we going to get him out of a place like that. I-I mean. They have highly trained fighters guarding the place." said Tony rubbing his head in frustration. "They even have a macro on guard!"

"And what am I?" said Ashely, the macros voice reverberating against the walls of the warehouse.

"No offense Ashely, I didn't mean anything by it. It's just that he or she probably went through the same training as all the other guards. Which means-" before Tony could finish, Ashley chimed in.

"I'll get my ass kicked, I get it." she said irritably. It was then Jess stood up her fists clenched.

"Now's not the time for this! While where here debating on how to rescue Shaun, he's there getting experimented on or who knows what else they're putting him through.....he could...be....they.." Jess couldn't finish as she broke down, images of what the human could be going through flashed through her mind. Bethany reached down and lifted the sobbing husky to her chest, the large reptile whispering comforting words. As the husky was being consoled, Tina stood up.

"Look, it may seem hopeless, but we have to at least try. Sure we may get caught, but at least we'll be near. Heck they may put us with him.....so what do ya say?" They all remained silent for a few minutes before Jess slowly separated from Bethany. She walked over to her best friend and wiped away what was left of her tears, determination etched into her eyes.

"Lets do it...I want my human back.

"You mean our human" Chuckled Bethany. Jess quickly turned to the T-rex.

"We'll come to that bridge when we cross it."

"Come on you guys, he's a person. He's not a piece of property" Said Tony. They all couldn't help but laugh, realizing what they were saying. But the lightheartedness was replaced by determination once again.

"Right...Well let's get....who are you?" Before Jess could finish, she had noticed a figure standing in the large doorway. Stepping out into the light, the figure revealed itself to be a 7 ft tall Tigress, decked out in black combat gear. She was the definition of an Amazon. She was toned and could easily best the strongest man in the fight, but her curves still let everyone know she was all woman.

"Sorry to rain on your parade, but I can't let you go out on your little rescue mission." Bethany quickly crouched down, ready to fight.

"And how exactly are you going to stop us?" The tigress simply smirked before giving off a whistle. Suddenly, over a hundred men and women appeared out of the shadows, all decked out in similar gear as the tigress. Each were armed to the teeth and ready for war. Bethanys jaw dropped. "Okay.....that's how." Jess looked frustrated.

"Please! We have to save him!" The tigress was firm.

"I'm sorry, but that's not possible."

"But why!" said the husky on the brink of tears.

"Because that's our job." The tigress smirked once again. Jess looked confused. Tina on the other hand looked as if she was looking at a goddess.

"I.....I don't believe it......you're....her......You're Julie Mila." Julie smiled. Jess was still confused.

"Who?"

"

You...you don't know who she is?! Don't you pay attention to the news?" Tina asked in shock. She turned back to the tigress, but was still addressing her friend. "She....is the leader of the president's personal military force." Jess looked as if she was slapped.

"The....president?" She whispered, looking back at Julie. "But..why would she?...I mean." That was all Jess could say before Julie spoke up.

"How could she not? As soon as she saw you two on the news, her main priority was getting to meet him."

"But...why all this? Why send you guys out? No offense." The tigress held her hand out, showing no offense was taken.

"Well, considering it's nearly impossible to keep any secrets from the single most powerful person in the country, as soon as news got out of the humans kidnapping...well...here we are." Everyone remained silent as all the facts sunk in. The tigress then began to order her troops out of the warehouse and into the trucks outside. As she began to follow, Julie turned back to Jess and her friends. "You guys comin?"

"But.....you just said."

"I said I couldn't let you guys go rescue him. I never said you couldn't assist." Tina was a little confused.

"You mean?"

"That's right. You can come along for the ride. Just leave most of the work to us." Jess and the others didn't know what to say. "Well...you guys going to stand there all night or are we going to go rescue a human!" That was all it took. In a flash, Jess, Tina and the others ran out to join the rest of the soldiers in the truck. Julie could only smile in satisfaction.
