Neebis sighed as he sprawled out next to an old barrel that was placed to be a makeshift table. The dragon's body aching after a long day of pulling the heavy plough through the fertile earth, but another day done, was another day done well. He dipped his head into the old bucket full of homemade ale and took in a mouthful of the tangy liquid. While the dragons referred to it as ale, the bucket contained a much higher alcohol content than anything bought from an official establishment. After gulping down the ale, a small smile pulled at his snout as he watched the other farm dragons relaxing under the evening sky.
The sign reading "The Dragon's Rest" hung above a makeshift bar, a favorite place to rest for the dragons that worked the land that surrounded it. While who owned the land wasn't clear, the owners of the neighboring farms were content to let the dragon's use it as a place to relax after a hard day's work.
Neebis' eyes stared up at the sky, the long strings of lights dangling between the tree branches gave a warm homely glow to the clearing, the rabble of dragons talking and joking about their lives filled the air with a chaotic melody that made Neebis relax. It was rare that he got to visit the markets, but on the rare occasions he was chosen to haul goods for his employer, he always mused that the clearing felt so very similar. The smells of food and alcohol made his mouth water and the sense of community made him feel like he wasn't alone in the world.
Every piece of Dragon's Rest had been salvaged from retired or broken farming equipment, from the bar, which was in an upturned dozer blade, to the old fence posts that were used to make the sign. A feeling of accomplishment filled the white dragon's heart as he looked at the tangible outcomes of their hard work.
The dragons around him were all the family he had, being an abandoned egg, he was raised by the dragons he now worked with and spent many of his fledgling years pulling weeds from the crops until he was strong enough to pull a plough.
His paw traced over his bare shoulder, where the harness had dug into him, and massaged the scales as he relaxed. Looking around the other dragons, he saw all were partnered with their mates, lounging together while joking and talking about their days. A pang of loneliness flickering through his mind before he took another sip from his ale bucket.
Tonight was a special occasion, a pair of dragons were leaving the farm and traveling to the city to try their luck at a new life. While they were not slaves, their pay was offset by the costs of food, ale and shelter which was provided to them by the farm owners. So while their needs were met, saving any substantial amount of money in order to leave was always difficult. He watched on as the other dragons congratulated the leaving pair and wished them well, and he started to think more and more about his future.
It was no secret amongst the dragons that wealthy business people had been inspecting the farms, taking inventory and measuring buildings and they all knew it was possible that their homes could be bought out from under them. But they had all been told by their employers that the need for dragons to work the land would always be a constant and they were not to worry.
He had contemplated looking for work elsewhere, but the hours put into working the farm left very little time to seek an alternative, yet alone search out a mate. Sitting alone he took another sip of his ale and let the alcohol wash away his worries.
His white body was sprawled out but his red neck frill raised in curiosity as he noticed the rest of the dragons go suddenly quiet. Looking around he saw the source of the disturbance approach, her eyes were the first thing he noticed, a bright blue with a hint of teal cut through the darkness as she emerged from the shadows. Her horns, throat and wings were all an inky black that seemed to absorb the light around her as she moved into the clearing. As she came into the dim light, flashes of red scales dotted her neck, legs and tail, each one a gradient of black to burgundy-red. While he had dealt with his fair share of venomous snakes on the farm, the contrasting scales triggered a primal thought of danger as she strode across the clearing towards the bar. Her posture was strong and proud as she walked calmly past the lounging dragons, her bright blue eyes darting across each one and sized them up.
Neebis saw the other drakes looking at her athletic form while their nesses stared at her with mixed expressions. Every part of her body looked lethal, the ebony horns that protruded from the back of her skull in a graceful angle curved upwards towards sharp points, her talons were curved and looked like they were honed in battle rather than by a pedicure. Neebis' neck frill perked higher as his eyes ran over the countless scars and damaged scales that covered her toned body and focused on her tail tip, a fan-like tip flicked open slightly before folding sleekly again.
Her attention was fixed on the bar as she approached, the nylon harness she wore bristling with pouches and loops, designed purely for function rather than form. The strips of Velcro sewn onto sections of her harness caught Neebis' eye, areas where she could attach patches and insignias as required.
Her black lips pulled back to reveal her ivory white teeth as she smiled at the burly dragon who served out the ale. "And who would I have to get under my tail to get a drink around here?" Her voice was confident and unwavering as she stared at the larger drake behind the bar.
"Well howdy ma'am, this isn't a bar for the common folk, see. We don't have a license to sell to outsiders."
The dragoness' smile flickered slightly as she looked around the dragons that were resting under the amber lights. "Well, how about this then." She said and reached into a pouch to retrieve a paw full of crumpled notes. "no, that's rupees, that's French, ah! Here we go!" She exclaimed and placed a large fifty dollar note on the metal bar, her claws ringing against the rusty metal surface. "I think I have accidentally misplaced something, I wonder if someone has accidentally misplaced a bucket of ale as well."
A smirk pulled at the dragon behind the bar's snout as he fetched a bucket and started to fill it from a large wooden keg. "That's it big boy, fill me up good. I want to hear it slosh as I walk." She chided and tucked the other notes back into her pouch.
Looking around at the other dragons, she saw them quickly averting their gaze, each dragoness wrapping a tail or paw around their mate as she assessed each of the gruff males. All of the drakes were clearly taken with the exception of a strong looking alabaster dragon hiding at the back, his crimson neck frill quickly going flat against his neck as he was caught staring.
Neebis gave a weak smile before becoming focused on his own drink, his eyes flicking up as he saw the black dragoness, carrying her bucket in her maw, come sauntering over to him. Her powerful wings tucked close to her sides and neck held in a sleek s shape as she prowled towards Neebis. He looked around at the other dragons for support as she sat down on her haunches in front of him and placed her ale bucket down on his barrel table.
"Mind if I join you?" She said and made herself at home, her paw quickly unlatching her harness and let it fall to the ground. Neebis gave a polite nod and sat up straighter before taking another sip from his bucket, catching a look from another drake who enthusiastically nodded towards the black dragoness.
"I'm Neebis." He said softly and saw her smile widen, her bright teeth contrasting against her black scales in a wicked grin.
"Well hello Neebis, and what do you do?" She asked before dipping her head to her bucket and taking a long deep sip of ale.
"I'm- I'm a farmer. Sorry, I didn't catch your name." He asked, his eyes trying to hold her gaze as she continued to drink, her throat muscles flexing and contracting as she slurped, all while her bright eyes looked up at him.
Lifting her head, she closed her eyes and let out a content sigh, "gods I needed that." She said softly before opening her eyes. "So, Neebis the farmer. What is it like working on a stud farm, eh?" She said and focused her intense blue eyes on his.
Neebis swallowed and sat more upright, trying to shake the feeling of being prey under her gaze. "It's a hay farm actually, not a stud farm."
"If it's not a stud farm, what are you doing there?" She teased with a wicked smile. Her bright blue eyes holding his as he gave a nervous laugh. "Oh relax! You look like I'm going to bite you, unless you are into that?"
Neebis smiled broadly, "no, it's just. We don't see many dragons like you come to our little bar."
The black dragoness feigned offense, "like me? You mean a black dragon?"
"I mean, outsiders." Neebis corrected, "where have you come from?" He asked, realizing she never answered his previous question.
The dragoness looked around the rest of the clearing, enjoying quick shuffles of the other dragons as they tried to not make it known they had been watching her. "A little place up north, between nowhere and further away." She mused and turned back to the white dragon. "But what about you? You live on the farm I take it?"
Neebis nodded as he swallowed a mouthful of ale, "all my life." He said proudly, "hatched and raised under these stars."
"Naww, fuck you're cute." She teased and saw his neck frill collapse in embarrassment. "I think that's great, you have a home and a family here." She quickly added to reassure him. "That's not something everyone has, I think it's neat."
Neebis gave a nod and took another sip of his drink, glancing subtly to his friends he saw one of them gesture with his paw to keep talking and pointed at the dragoness. Lifting his head he took in her features, her snout was slightly shorter than his but he couldn't pull his gaze away from her eyes, her eye ridges framing the bright blue pools in a way that made her look like she was gazing longingly back at him.
Neebis jolted slightly as he felt her tail brush against his, "oh, sorry." He exclaimed and went to pull his tail away only to find hers press more firmly against his.
"Don't be," she said softly yet with a direct tone. "So tell me, Neebis the farmer, why is a handsome drake like yourself sitting all alone on this fateful night." She asked and cocked her head slightly to look bashfully at him, her tail gently stroking his.
Neebis focused on his words as he held her gaze, "why would a fine dragoness come sit with a lonely dragon like myself?" He retorted.
"Oh? You think I look fine?" She asked, "and what would missus Neebis say if she caught you saying that?"
"This Neebis is single." He teased, thankful that the alcohol was giving him the confidence to keep up with the flirtatious dragoness. "But you never told me your name." He added before dipping his head down to drink from his bucket.
"And why would you want to know that?" She questioned and moved her snout close to his ear, "is it so you can cry it out into the night." She added and roared out a laugh as he choked on his drink, coughing as ale was snorted through his nostrils.
"No-no." He said before clearing his throat. "It's just rude to not know."
"Oh it's rude now, is it? And who taught you such good manners?" She teased and gave him a wink.
"It's just, that's how people do- wait." He said and saw her smile broaden. "You did it again!" He chuckled as he caught her redirecting him.
"Oh, and here I was thinking I was dealing with a dumb drake who didn't know how to talk to a ness," She teased playfully. "It's a silly game, but it's fun. What do you do for fun around here?" She asked as she lowered her snout to her bucket.
Her eyes widening and lip twitched in the beginnings of a snarl as Neebis quickly nudged her bucket out from under her. "You did it again, if you don't tell me your name, I'll have to make something up."
"Oh?" She said and looked him in the eyes, "what would you call me?"
Neebis cocked his head slightly and pretended to think for a while, "hmmm, something black, fiery, I think would call you ash, or maybe coal, yes coal it is." He teased and saw her eyes narrow. "Or, you could tell me your real name."
"Feerah, you can call me Feerah." She said softly and pulled her bucket of ale back towards her.
"Well Feerah, was that so hard?" He teased and received a broad smile from her in return. "You said it was a game?"
"So, you were listening." She mused and looked him up and down, "me and a few others from work try to see how long we can go before without saying our name,I went two weeks while living with a cute french drake, it was good fun, great artist that one."
Neebis chuckled politely but was wondering how it was possible to live with someone and not know their name. "So what do you do for work, Miss Feerah?"
The black dragoness battered her eyes and looked at him sideways, "what do you think I do, Mr Neebis?"
"Is this a part of the game?" He asked and saw her nod. Smiling, Neebis looked her up and down, his eyes looking past her athletic build and powerful wings, but instead focused on her scales. It was hard to see in the dim light, but countless scars littered her body, many faded with age but it was clear she was accustomed to fighting. He continued his inspection until he focused on the harness that lay at her feet, the webbing and loops causing his eyes to flick up and assess her posture. "a fighter, soldier of sorts?"
"Very good," she chided with a smile and took another sip from her ale.
"I would say you are probably on your way to the academy up north, right?" He asked, he had heard from other dragons about a military training ground a few hours flight away and their strict no-fly zone.
Feerah nodded, "very good, but enough about me, what does Mr Neebis do all day, do you do much work with seed?" She asked while stroking her tail up his.
"I- I mainly help plough the fields." His gaze lingering on the deep scar that ran from her top lip up her cheek and continued across her eye ridge.
Feerah lowered her head close to his, "ploughing? Really?" She said quietly and tilted her head to look down his chest towards his groin, "yeah, I could believe that." She added before lifting her head away as the barkeeper delivered a second round for them.
Neebis' snout burned hot as his cheek scales turned a soft red hue, the dragoness chuckling as she took another hearty swig from her bucket and gave him a playful wink as she swallowed.
"What about you, what do you do specifically in the military?" Neebis asked, while adjusting his hind legs as his groin tightened. A dragoness that wasn't afraid to let others know what she wants or how she feels was always a weakness of his, and his neck frill made that invulnerability all the more obvious as it perked up when she brought her snout close and invaded his personal space yet again.
"What do I do? Whoever will let me." She teased, "so how about it? Care for a roll in the hay? Show a gal a good time."
Neebis' heart was hammering in his chest as he held his stiff position, "okay, this is a prank isn't it?" He asked and looked at the rest of the farming dragons who were very focused at what was going on at his table. The drakes were all giving him smiles and subtle nods of approval.
"Why do you think it's a prank? Can't a ness ask a drake for some fun?" She said, her words like silk as she brought her snout close to his ear, "a big strong dragon like you, I bet you have the pick of the dragonesses here." She whispered into his ear before brushing her snout against his cheek. Sensing his hesitation she lowered her voice further so he knew she was talking only to him, "listen, I'm not here for a long time, but I'm hoping you can show me a good time." She added before giving a quick lick to his cheek.
Neebis swallowed hard and held her gaze, her powerful blue eyes reading him like an open book. "Why me?" He asked quietly.
The dragoness picked up her drink with her two front paws and lifted it to her snout and drank deeply before placing it back down on the table. "Because, I like to enjoy what the locals have to offer and I think you are cute, strong and honestly, I'm pretty curious if that red frill of yours shoots up or lays flat when you cum." She said bluntly, "I'm not looking for love, a relationship or any of that shit, I'm going to be gone by morning and want a good root before I go back to work. So how about it, Neebis the plougher?"
Neebis' mouth opened a few times as he tried to say something as she suddenly stood up, "how about this," she started while pulling her harness up and securing the straps, "I'm going to go find a hay bale to lay against. If you want to join me and show me how deep you plant seed, come find me." Turning away she walked silently towards the outskirts of the clearing, her black hips rolling seductively with every step, her curves silhouetted against the string of amber lights that ran up the trees. Neebis watched in awe at her as she left, her black tail fan flicked open as she mantled her wings to take flight.
"Neebis!" Exclaimed one of the drakes he worked with, his voice a strained whisper. "Dude!"
Neebis gave a guilty smile as he looked to his friend, "I don't know." He knew he wanted to find a dragoness, but felt more than a little intimidated by her attitude.
"Neebis, buddy. Come on, go have some fun!" His friend teased before getting a swat across the rump from the dragoness leaning against him. "I'm just saying, we are doing the northern paddock tomorrow, he should let off a little steam." He added and nuzzled his mate.
A smile crept onto Neebis' snout as he looked over to the black dragoness. Her powerful body hunkered down as she squatted down low to the ground then suddenly leapt into the air. Her inky black wings unfurling and powering down, her red markings quickly disappearing into the night as she took flight. With a hurried final slurp of his ale, Neebis quickly got to his feet and took off after the mysterious dragoness.
With a bound and a leap he took to the sky, beating his wings hard to gain altitude he scanned for Feerah. The waning moon cast a soft light across the fields but did little to reveal her location. Neebis' eyes narrowed as he searched below, the large paddocks hosted a scattering of large hale bales that had been collected and bound by the working dragons, each waiting to be collected in the morning.
The white drake's whole body jolted while flying as he felt a claw tap on the small of his back, his head snapping around to see the black and red dragoness gliding silently just above and behind him, a broad grin on her face. "Geez! You scared me." Neebis exclaimed, much to the enjoyment of the dragoness who chuckled.
"I'm sure I can make it up to you." She stated and dipped a wing, diving down beside him so close that he had to quickly tuck a wing in to avoid being clipped. He kept his wing tucked and followed behind the dragoness towards the fields below, Her dark scales almost disappearing against the dark ground as she flared out her wings and came to a running trot across the freshly harvested ground.
Neebis flapped his wings to arrest his fall and landed next to her. With a click of her buckles, her nylon harness fell to the soft earth and she walked towards him. Adjusting her wings to pull them close as she focused on his eyes with a sultry look.
"You look really-" his words were cut off as her jaws locked onto his, her long tongue driving into his mouth and running across his teeth, he took a step back and she quickly made up the distance, rotating her head to deepen the kiss. She continued to press towards him as he curled his neck and sat back on his haunches, her front paws quickly moving to the base of his neck as she moaned into his maw.
With her paws latched around his neck and tongue delving into his mouth she reared up on her hind legs and pushed him back, Neebis' body crashing down into the soft ground with a loud thud as she quickly stepped over him, her neck curling under her briefly before she broke their kiss and continued to step until his head was inline with her groin.
Neebis' eyes went wide as he looked up at her delicate crease that divided her scales, with a quick squat she lowered herself down until his snout was pressed firmly against her vent. Smiling she felt his tongue run across her lips, slathering them with his saliva. "That's it!" She moaned as he opened his maw and delved his licker into her warm folds.
Neebis felt his horns penetrate the ground as she sat down on his snout, his head becoming anchored to the ground while she gyrated and rocked. His long slender appendage pressing into her tender folds, her warm tangy taste drove his tongue wild as he plunged it deeper into her body. Her voice a low moan as she closed her eyes and enjoyed his ministrations, his front paws latching onto her tailbase as he slurped and stroked her velvety walls.
A whine of delight from the white drake sung out as her fanned tail found his emerging member. The delicate membranes stroked over and around the underside of his tool as he quickly became erect. Looking over her shoulder her eyes widened at the sight of his impressive length, she was no stranger to bigger males, but was glad his length was a simple tapered affair and she would not have to be tied down with a knot or have her tunnel raked by barbs.
Nuzzling his nose into the apex of her slit he was rewarded by a cry of ecstasy as her clit was tenderly pressed when he nudged the hood it was hiding under.
Neebis took a moment to swallow before plundering her tight body again with his tongue, the enticing scent of her arousal made his length twitch and throb against the folds of her tail fan. Smiling as he heard her gasp while he stroked a particularly sensitive spot, repeating the movement he could feel her walls clench and ripple on his squirming appendage.
"Fuck, Neebis. Yes!" She cried out, head tilted to the sky as she pressed more firmly against his snout. His pace increased to match her building arousal, her breath coming in ragged gasps as her heart raced. Her tail gently stroking and caressing his eager spire with a practiced delicacy, she could feel every twitch and jolt of his building arousal and knew they were both ready.
Neebis licked his lips to collect the juices that were running down his snout before focusing his licks on her clitoris, the black dragoness' form quivering and rocking against him until suddenly she stopped and pulled away from him.
The white drake's long tongue reached out almost on its own accord to try and follow her as she stepped out of reach. Opening his eyes he didn't realize he had closed, he looked to her while his horns were still buried in the soft earth.
Feerah took a few steps away from the prone dragon towards a small roll of collected hay. Her ivory teeth gleaming in the moonlight as her lips curled back into a smile, lowering her front over the bale of hay she lifted her rump.
Neebis' eyes widened as he saw her rump lift, followed by the base of her tail. With the grace of a dancer she lifted her tail so that the tip covered her modesty while the rest of her tail lifted until she finally flicked her tail fan closed and lifted her tail to reveal her juicy wet folds.
With a quick tug, Neebis freed his horns from the ground and rolled to his feet, practically scampering towards the ebony dragoness' puffy folds. She rocked her hips invitingly as he approached and gasped when his strong paws wrapped around her waist, his long member pressed firmly against her rump before he adjusted his angle and moved it under her tail.
"Don't be gentle." She whispered to him and looked him in his eyes, giving a nod of reassurance she smiled to him, "I'm not fragile, try and break me."
Neebis swallowed and pulled himself closer, his tip bouncing as he rocked his hips to find his mark. Her head turning back to face the empty space ahead as the pre-covered tip connected with her entrance, a quick surge of his hips drove the first few inches into her. The feeling of her wet warm walls hugging his shaft made him groan, remembering her command he rocked his hips hard and drove the rest of his meaty spire into her.
"Fuck, okay!" She cried out, her blue eyes wide as her depths were suddenly filled. His head came close to hers and his mouth nibbled at her jawline, glancing to him she could see the concern in his eyes and nodded, her mouth open in a ragged pant.
Neebis waited a few moments for her body to adjust, the tight clenching of her wet walls begging him to start ramming away but he waited until she turned to protest before pulling back and driving in once again.
Feerah felt like the wind was knocked out of her as his long dragonhood parted her tunnel and made her conform to his shape. "More! Fuck, yes!" She cried out into the night as Neebis started to rock back and forth inside her. "Mmmghyaaah," she moaned, her jaw alternating between opening for breath and clenching as her body took his powerful thrusts.
"You're so wet, so tight." He gasped while holding her hips steady, his strong toned farm legs hammering his hips into hers. Her tail curled off to the side as he pounded into her like there was no tomorrow, clutching the hay bale under her with her front paws she moaned loudly while she was rocked against the hay again and again.
"Yes! Don't stop, don't stop." She moaned, the way her tunnel was stretched around his cock making her eyes flutter closed with every wet slap. His thrusts were relentless, every thrust pulling back until a third of his hard cock was nestled inside her before driving into her firmly. He could feel the haybale deforming under them as he continued to pound into her. He could feel his climax building higher and higher, the slick warm clenching tunnel becoming too much for the farm drake.
"Neck! Bite my neck!" She cried as she felt his length stiffen further, her eyes rolling back as she felt his jaws latch onto her smooth neck and his thrusts pickup to an unsustainable pace. The thin twine that held the hay bale together lost its fight first, the sound of it snapping inaudible over the groans and grunts of the two dragons pressing into it.
With a final slam home, Neebis drove his cock into her depths and came undone. His length throbbing as the hay bale under them collapsed, her chest falling to the hay covered ground while her hips remained raised, his hard length now pressed firmly against a more sensitive area of her clenching tunnel.
Her climax rocketed through her as she felt his length pulse deep inside her, his hot seed splashing against her innermost barrier while her vagina did its best to milk him for everything he was worth. His needy moan into her neck made her smile and she quickly looked back to see his neck frill perk up to its maximum height.
Neebis' rear claws dug furrows into the dirt as he ground his slit against hers, his whole hard length throbbing as pump after pump of pent up seed was sown into her hole.
The firm grip of his jaws was replaced by tender licks as his climax slowly tapered off, her spasming folds matching the pulsing of his member in perfect harmony while he filled her with his virile release.
"That, that was... thank-you." Neebis gasped as he relaxed on her back, a slight rock of her shoulders snapping him out of his stupor. "Sorry." He murmured and took a step backwards to remove himself from her, his long length pulling out of her folds with a wet shlop.
His legs felt too shaky to stand on and quickly sat down on his haunches, his softening member dripping as it retreated back into his slit, looking over to Feerah his cheeks blushed as he saw a long dollop of his seed hanging by a gooey strand from her folds.
"Not bad." Feerah smiled and collected a paw full of hay to clean herself up with.
Neebis swallowed his guilt before padding over to a clean section of the exploded hay and lay down, With a strong paw he patted the makeshift bedding, "so, do you want to sleep under the stars?" He asked, her smile widening at the question.
"Maybe another time, stud. I've got to get to work before dawn." She said and began to rummage around the remnants of the hay bale, "Now where did you get too", she said to herself before her eyes widened and she retrieved a dark green duffle bag from under a pile of hay.
"Wait, you put your bag here?" He asked as she unzipped the bag and rummaged around inside. "What if we didn't, you know." He asked only to receive a wink from her.
"Oh, I knew I would have come back here, with or without a sexy stud." She teased, her tongue poked out the tip of her snout as she concentrated on retrieving something from deep inside her rucksack. "Ah hah! There you are! Snack?" She asked and offered a small wooden box in her paw.
Neebis' eyes narrowed on the small timber box and reached out. "So that's it? You're going now?" He asked, a hint of sadness creeping into his voice.
Feerah looked at the big eyes of the white drake, his crimson neck frill laying flat against his neck as he looked longingly at her, like so many males before. "Keep the snacks." She said simply and pulled her harness over her shoulders, the buckles clipping closed with a final click. Stepping to her duffle bag she placed a paw through each of the handles and lowered her chest onto the bag, her paws latching the straps to her harness with practiced ease.
Neebis looked down at the small wooden box and gave it a curious sniff, the scents of honey, nuts and pastry creeping through the wicker timber lid. With a delicate claw he removed the lid and looked down at the small treats, his head cocking as he tried to work out what they were. The small square pastries almost glistened under the dim moonlight, the thick glaze of honey over the nutty, flakey pastry making his mouth water. "What are they?" He asked as he gave one a poke with a talon, flakes of pastry quickly falling off the treat and creating a mess.
"Baklava." She said simply and stood up, padding over to the prone drake she reached down and plucked one from the box, tossing it into her mouth before closing her eyes and humming in delight.
Neebis looked at her expression and took a small piece out, gently placing it in his mouth he was surprised at the sweetness, the flakey pastry quickly becoming absolutely delightful to suck on. The natural sweetness mixed with the remnants of her arousal to create a delicate blend of tang and sweetness that made him smile. "Okay, this is amazing. Where do you get more?"
Feerah smiled and gave him a gentle lick between his horns, "I picked these up in Kabul." She answered and saw his confused look. "But the best treats are in Paris." She said smiling as his eyes widened slightly.
"Before you go, I have to ask. Do you always find mates in farmers bars?" He asked nervously, "just so I know for the future."
Feerah smiled broadly, "bars, markets, boulangeries, coffee shops. Everyone needs to eat, even single 'nesses." She said and mantled her wings. "Until next time, Neebis the farmer." She said and launched herself into the sky, her large wings sending errant straws of hay swirling as she disappeared into the night.
Neebis' heart sank as he watched her vanish into the night, his heart longing for something more than just a one night fling under the stars. Looking down at the small wooden box that held the delightful snacks, he picked at another piece before placing it in his mouth. Its flaky pastry and sweet taste was like nothing he had experienced while on the farm, a niggle of a thought itched at the back of his mind making him wonder what other treats could be had if he left. With a sigh he looked up at the stars and contemplated the black dragoness' words before coming to a conclusion.
While his entire life had been spent on the farm, there was a whole world out there that he wouldn't see if he stayed.
