Chapter 2
Time passed in the peace, not nearly enough though as she blinked her eyes open. Her head was being softly shook. “Carmen…? Wake up, I think you'd like to see this."
She lifted her head and looked towards Kane who only motioned towards the TV.
“Breaking News: The world racked with chaos after mass transformation?" was what read upon the headline, while a female news anchor began to speak.
“Breaking news, we bring you a report of a so called 'mass transformation' happening across the world today." The anchor began. “Individuals on social media have spoken of having their 'minds transported' and their 'bodies remade' into something different. Since then, pictures of extremely realistic fantasy creatures have been appearing all over many of the large social media sites, reportedly real pictures of their new bodies. Now, we have Dr. Delard Fawkes here, who is an expert of mythological studies to explain more about this phenomenon, Dr Fawkes?"
The doctor then began to describe the act as either a mass hallucination or group stunt made by students, clearing trying to downplay the whole scenario. Carmen and Kane exchanged shocked glances at each other while the doctor spoke.
Carmen's eyes looked down towards the ground. “I'm not the only one."
Kane gave a shocked chuckle. “Yeah… I wonder if we know anybody who we know got…"
The TV broadcast cut, and was replaced with a blue panel donned with simple text upon the screen. “EMERGENCY GOVERNMENT BROADCAST."
The pair's attention darted towards the TV once more as a loud tone emanated as well. The panel disappeared and revealed an older man standing a US Government podium seemingly ready to speak. The president of the United States.
“Ladies and Gentlemen of the world," The older man spoke with a seriousness that the pair had never heard before.
His eyes darted towards the camera and back down to the pedestal. “I stand before you in a time of unprecedented uncertainty and turmoil. Our world has been bonded with one of fantastical reality, a merging of two vastly different realms. This cataclysmic event, aptly named “The Merge," has brought about profound changes and challenges that we must now all face together."
“The creatures of fantasy and myth now walk among us. The laws of magic, once confined to the realm of fantasy, are now as real as the air we breathe. The very fabric of our existence has been disrupted, and the consequences have been tragic. Many have lost their lives, and our world is in a state of chaos and confusion." He stopped for a moment letting the silence sit from the weight of his words.
“I want to assure you all that we are doing everything in our power to provide help and relief to those affected by this catastrophe. Resources have been mobilized and will be available to anyone and everyone in need as soon as tomorrow morning. We will work tirelessly to bring back the peace that has been lost and ensure the safety of all US citizens and we hope that other countries will do the same." He stopped looked back down towards the papers upon the pedestal and nodded slowly.
“In these chaotic times, I bring to you all a beacon of hope. I am proud to introduce an individual with will work closely with us to better understand these new creatures and how they have affected our reality. Nicholas Ta'lorin is an expert on the other world. His knowledge will be crucial in helping us navigate these uncharted waters." The presidents' eyes stayed locked upon the camera his face grim.
“There is nothing more that I understand then the fear and uncertainty that grips our hearts. This is an unprecedented change to our way of life and our actions will reflect that. However, we must remember our resilience as a nation, remember our united power as a people. Together, we must face this new changed world with courage and determination. It will not be easy, but when has anything worthwhile come easy?" The president let the silence sit again as he took a deep breath.
“I would like to introduce to you all, Dr. Nicholas Ta'lorin."
A man followed the president upon the stage. They shook hands as the president made a nod towards the other and walked off. The man who now stood at the podium was thin, almost unnaturally so, with dark black hair slicked back, and piercing blue eyes. Strangely, his ears seemed to end in a faint point and the way he held himself was even stranger.
“Good evening, citizens of the United States, my name is Nicholas Ta'lorin." The man began, his voice strong and commanding yet harboring a foreign accent. “You do not know who I am, nor should you, as my work with the US Federal Government has been kept a national secret due to security concerns that have now been… deemed unnecessary. My position was that of a… diplomat. A diplomat between this world, and another."
The man looked back down towards the pedestal and sighed. “It is my solemn duty as a representative of the U.S. federal government to shed light on these occurrences and provide guidance for the path ahead. This other world, the one that I, along with many other similar individuals from other countries, was tasked with keeping a truce with, was one not like our own. There were creatures more powerful than we have ever seen upon our world that wondered through this one in mass quantities."
“But I digress, the reason I speak to all of you today is due to events that you may have all seen transpiring over the past few hours. As I am sure you will all see, many of you have become far more acquainted with the other inhabitants of this world than others, and this has led to some… complications. I would to preface this with my deepest condolences to the many individuals who have lost their lives during the past few hours, may they rest in peace." He stopped taking a deep breath before continuing.
“This world I speak of, this other world, no longer exists, as it has been combined with our own." His voice took a serious timbre. “This has resulted in many individuals in our world being merged with their counterpart, and as some of you may have discovered your counterpart is most likely not human. Our world is now home to the fantastical creatures that most may thought of as just story, but I make a promise to you all, that these individuals are still the same people that you knew." He continued.
Carmen and Kane exchanged a glance.
“As we investigate and attempt to shed more light on the effects of this catastrophe, I implore for you all to stay calm and composed in the face of this unprecedented situation. We are working diligently to understand the full extent of the event and to ensure the safety and well-being of our citizens." He stopped for another moment and sorted his papers.
“I understand that this revelation might be difficult to accept, and that many of you will have questions and concerns, but for now I ask of you all one thing. It is crucial that we come together within our great nation to adapt to these new circumstances. The people affected by the tragedy are not our enemies; they are individuals who have had a dire and difficult situation placed upon them. Do not abandon them, instead provide guidance and acceptance where it is needed and we will get through this together." He finished.
He picked page off the pedestal and set it back down, waiting a moment for the air to settle. “Other broadcasts will be televised through normal routes discussing our first steps for implementing measures to adapt our society to these merged citizens. There are plans in place for loans, grants and subsidies to be put in place for individuals who need to adapt their homes, businesses or lifestyles to these changes. Along with that we will be having a press conference tomorrow at noon about what we know of this situation."
He sorted the papers and set them down. “In closing, I want to reassure you that we are committed to transparency and will keep you informed as we navigate this extraordinary journey together. The challenges ahead may be daunting, but the strength and resilience of the American people have never wavered in the face of adversity. Together, we will emerge from this stronger, more powerful, and more united than ever before."
“Thank you."
The transmission returned to the news, the visage of extremely confused broadcasters appearing on the TV. Kane wordlessly grabbed the remote and muted it as he looked towards Carmen's jaw dropped face.
“I… holy shit." Carmen spoke first. “What… what does this mean?"
Kane starred off out the window with a furrowed brow. “I don't know."
“I…" Carmen began but lost her words.
Kane nodded in understanding before his expression hardened. Giving a nervous glance towards her, Kane let the silence simmer before speaking. “What did it feel like?"
“What?" Carmen asked confused as she was brought out of her thoughts.
“To… to, ah what did they call it... 'merge', what did it feel like?" Kane elaborated.
“Oh… I… I don't really remember." Carmen shook her head and thought of this morning. “I remember a man talking… something about collapsing realities, and then I saw a lot of people, and then I woke up to… well I think the bed breaking."
“Huh…" was all Kane could think of saying. “I wonder why I didn't change?"
Carmen looked down towards him, with a soft grin. “Cause' you're perfect the way you are?"
Kane laughed. “That means that you weren't perfect before, and I wouldn't say that."
Carmen blushed under her scales as she looked towards the TV to look away from Kane. She ran some words through her head trying to think of the best way to phrase her next question. “Do… Do you think I'm perfect now?" She asked quietly.
“Well, nobody's perfect…" Kane begin with a smile as he stood up to be eye level with Carmen. “But you're pretty damn close." He finished with a kiss on the snout.
Carmen shrunk into her shoulders at the touch with an embarrassed smile. His corny flirts and sudden confidence always made her melt. “Y- You're pretty good looking yourself." She tried to fire back, but her flustered mind showed through.
Kane watched her silently as she spoke, a smile across his lips. “Do you know you glow when you're happy?"
Carmen furrowed her brow. “What you mean like… metaphorically?"
“No, I mean… here let me." He began as he walked towards the bedroom quickly. “Oh man you… Well, it's not just a new bed were buying."
“What?" Carmen said in a light panic as she stood up from the creaking couch to follow him. Though it didn't take long for her to spot the bent wooden door frame to their bedroom. Splinters cracked through the middle of the once straight boards. “Oh. Whoops?"
“It's nothing." Kane said as emerged back from the room holding his phone. “Here… let me just…" He said as his kissed her on the snout again.
“Wait-" She began though was quickly silenced by the flashing of a phone. He turned the picture back towards her as she drifted closer to focus on the screen. She literally glowed, the space between her crimson scales were glowing a bright yellow just like her eyes. It was like lava flowing through the cracks of rock. “Am I like that all the time?"
“No, just when I kiss you." He said with a smile. “Normally you're just your cute red self."
Kane laughed. “And now you're glowing again."
Carmen looked away in a blush once again as he embarrassed her lovingly. The smile upon her face not fading in the slightest at the words. She looked back towards him cautiously nervous he'd make another snide remark yet Kane and Carmen's eyes locked together in a loving gaze. The connection between the pair growing back to what it once faster than either of them expected. A bonfire began to light with Carmen's body, a feeling of pins and needles covered her body as an arousal more powerful than she had ever felt made itself known. Kane moved closer to her face and Carmen inched towards him as well. They both stood inches apart, Carmen's heavy hot breath overpowered Kane's, the smell of cooked meat permeating the air from her last meal.
For Carmen, it was as if time held no weight. She could see the pores of his skin, smell the sweat, salt, and blood flowing within him. She could feel her heart pounding with her weight chest, and she could hear his pounding away as well. Time slowed down to a crawl as she watched his face inch closer and closer to hers.
The air around began to heat up from her illuminated scales. Kane's face slowly grew brighter and brighter from the light as with every heartbeat he grew closer. He inched ever closer slowly drifting to kiss her once again, and Carmen dove at the opportunity. Lips against thick sheets of keratin, it was not a texture that Kane was used to, but the feeling was still there. Kane grabbed Carmen's face lovingly as Kane attempted to push his tongue past her lips, but instead found his mouth filled with a reptilian lump of flesh instead.
Immediately Kane pulled out, coughing at the shear amount of tongue that was placed within his mouth. He was not prepared. He propped himself against the wall as he gagged from the pressure. Eventually he caught himself and turned towards Carmen with a broken expression. “I- I'm sorry, that went to fast I…" He said breathlessly
“But…" Carmen began, the fire within her had not been put out, her body burned with a needy desire that needed to be extinguished.
“Just… just give me some time, I… I thought I was ready but I'm not, not for that just yet." Kane spoke his face disappointed.
Carmen could feel pressure still building, she wanted to roar, grab him and pin him to the floor. A couple deep breaths only bottled the intense heat, it did nothing to quell it. Her body throbbed with every pulse of her heart, waves of pure fire following shortly after. Just one day, she told herself, one day and it'll go away.
An electronic ding echoed throughout the house as the pair sat defeated. Kane, eager to change the mood, followed the noise back to the bedroom, emerging shortly afterwards with her phone. Kane hesitantly handed it to Carmen, who held the extremely small device in her comparatively massive hands. She, as lightly as she could, pressed the button upon the side and watched the screen light up.
A smile encroached upon her face as the background appeared, a picture of their trip to Alaska some months back. Both her and Kane smiling atop a snow-capped mountain range, an explosion of oranges and yellows behind them as the sun visually said it's goodbyes. The smile faded as her claws tapped against the screen, causing no movement or activity what so ever. Her hand vigorously tapped the screen as if beating it into submission but nothing came only the rough sound of a sharp talon against smooth glass. Her anger building against the inanimate slab of tech, a small pen like object appeared upon the edge of her vision.
Carmen turned towards it, a predatory look within her eyes, before her face melted at the sight of Kane holding a cheap stylus pen. “I… I got you."
A smile encroached upon her lips as she daintily grabbed the small thing. It was barely the size of one of her digits, which did not help her using it. A small burst of relief in her flood of hormones hit her as she realized the stylus worked upon the screen. She tapped her code and moved the screen up to her eye to see the notifications. A text, from one of her friends, Georgia.
'My bars open! You should come stop by!'
Carmen stared at the text message in silence.
“What is it?" Kane hesitantly asked, eager to break that void.
Carmen didn't respond instead typing very slowly and delicately with the stylus.
'I changed.'
A response came shortly afterwards. 'So did I!'
'I got a lot bigger.' She cautiously typed again.
'So am I! Just stop worrying and stop by! It'll be fun.' Georgia responded quickly; it was clear she still had thumbs.
Carmen looked towards Kane. Pure, kind, Kane, his smile ever soft and his body ever… She stifled the instinct to pin him to the ground and have her way. She took a deep breath. “Geo wants us to go to the bar, apparently it's open?"
“Oh- Uh yeah sure just let me get some… clothes on…" He said as he looked over her.
Carmen felt something drip down from her crotch onto the ground as she realized she was completely naked. “Oh my god, clothes, I hadn't even-" She began.
“Don't- Don't worry about it! I've got an idea."
Carmen raised a brow as she handed the phone back to Kane and hesitantly followed him into the bedroom, this time putting more effort into not breaking the door frame. Though she still felt her horns knock against the frame as she shimmed past. She cursed herself as Kane rummaged quickly through the closet throwing out a couple pieces of clothing haphazardly as he emerged with a strange large blanket. “I made this as a Halloween costume, but I think it'll work."
“What?" Carmen's question went unanswered as Kane through the blanket across her body quickly. She looked towards him as he did so, watching him grunt from the force of tightening what felt like leather straps. “Was this the…" She began.
“The flying carpet yes, but it'll look stylish!" Kane cut her off.
Carmen winced as she looked back towards herself and realized it was actually a large intricately designed purple and blue blanket. Geometric designs covered the entirety of the cloth, a design quite a bit too gaudy for her. Carmen watched him run around the entirety of her room filling form, eventually stopping for one last strap just below her tail. He pulled it haphazardly tugging it tight and folding the loop only to look back towards Carmen's shaky wincing face.
“It's on my…" She as she felt her boiling slit drip with intense arousal.
“Oh shit! Sorry, sorry sorry." He repeated as he realized the strap and hesitantly adjusted it before tightening again. “Are… are you okay? I didn't mean to-"
“I'm fine!" Carmen barked as she battled the internal monster. Her body was practically screaming at her to fuck and yet it took everything she had to breath deep and stop herself. She wasn't that, and there was no way she was going to start now. Kane absolutely mindedly wondered what that strange smell wafting through the air was.
“How… How do I look?" Carmen asked desperate for a change of pace. She looked over herself seeing the large blanket covering most of her body significantly tighter than she would have liked.
“I- I mean you look great!" Kane said nervously.
“Oh boy." Carmen responded finally catching herself as the feelings started to simmer. She didn't see anything lewd showing on her body, so she nodded and looked back towards Kane expectantly as her body still slightly shook.
“What I- Oh!" He realized as he spotted her looking at his cloth-less body. He darted into the closet and grabbed at seemingly random long pants and a sweater. He put his phone keys and wallet in his pocket as he turned towards Carmen with a smile. “There! Ready to go."
Carmen nodded silently as she grabbed her phone back from Kane and messaged Georgia.
'We are leaving now.' She typed slowly.
'Great I'm so excited to see the 'new' you! ;)' Georgia replied.
Carmen stared at the text in silence, wondering what Georgia no was. Maybe she as a massive drake that could take her- No… Clean thoughts. Carmen's body still burned within, she hoped that she would be able to quell this fire sooner than later. “We can go." Carmen continued; her voice still shaky.
Kane, sensing the unease in her voice just nodded and led the charge to the front door, opening it for her and letting her duck and shimmy through the tight gap. Kane followed and locked it behind him. It took two steps out of the door for it to finally hit Carmen. “How are we going to get there? It's five miles away."
“Can… Can you fly?" Kane asked.
“Kane, two hours ago I couldn't even walk." Carmen snapped.
“Oh uh- yeah." Kane blinked before pulling out his truck keys. “We could take the work truck? You'd probably fit in the…"
Carmen sighed and wordlessly walked towards his large diesel truck. Its normally large imposing black form sat so much smaller than normal to her. Opening the tail gate, she wobbled upon it and set down quickly within, feeling the cold metal against her more sensitive scales cooling her down. She squeezed herself tighter against the cab as Kane closed the tailgate. She towered over the Cab, and she could feel the truck's suspension give at every one of her movements. Another reminder of how different she now was.
Kane gave her a broken loving look, “I'm sorry we have to do this, I…"
Carmen shook her head and sighed. “It's fine."
Kane gave one last worried look towards Carmen before hopping in the truck and letting it purr to life. As they began to move Carmen could feel the truck taking slow wide turns and accelerating far slower than normal, Kane was attempting to be careful with her on the back. A smile grew at the kind thought. Though that morphed into lowering herself as low as she could within the bed, which was admittedly not that far, worried that someone may spot her or that her new appearance may draw too many eyes.
Though that was not the case. They didn't even have to leave the neighborhood to see something extraordinary, as it seemed almost every house some sort of different mythical creature was either inside, outside, or attempting to make its way outside. The first sights she spotted were not hope inducing, she spotted arguments between humanoid shapes within homes, a crying man with pointed ears outside of another, a Large green skinned man as tall as the buildings they stood next to crying into his arms. Thankfully no one seemed harmed but it seemed things weren't going well.
Yet there were others who seemed to be fairing otherwise quite well! A reptilian humanoid hugging a smaller much shorter man, a younger thinner man with goat-like legs speaking to a woman with flaming hair, and even a tall wolf like creature sitting outside a house with a handful of children running around upon it's back! It'd had only been a half a dozen hours since things had changed so drastically and yet it seemed that normalcy was shifting to something entirely new.
The sight made her smile. Though her mind didn't stay on the new sights for very long, as when the wind began to hit her face, a strange feeling grew from within. A primordial calm permeated herself, as if the wind was grabbing her deepest worries and whisking them away to a place unseen, her stress, her sadness, her pain, all taken far from where she stood. It was peaceful, like a warm bath to melt it all away. Though like all good things, this feeling had to come to an end. The truck slowed down and turned a corner to the bar that she knew oh so well.
The bar was barren, only a handful of cars sat within the parking lot. No more than what would be on a weekday night. Carmen wasn't surprised due to current events. Kane parked the truck and opened the door to see Carmen already on the ground and anxiously waiting. Carmen was She wanted nothing more than for this to be done and over with and it showed in her body.
“I guess." Carmen responded, the bright light of seeing Georgia once again burning through the lust that licked at the edges of her mind. The outdoor area was entirely empty, most likely due to the fresh chill that permeated the air. Carmen spotted, thankfully, double doors upon the entrance, making her ability to enter significantly easier. Kane, as per usual attempted to hold the door open for her, but she pushed through both instead.
Inside was honestly, mostly normal, despite the intense colorful number of species that sat the many booths within the place. Men with pointy ears, women with horns, children with lion tails and a genderless individual made of literal water flowing at the bar. The bar was full of a laughter, light conversation and banter, just like normal despite the strange circumstances. Or at least it was, until Carmen walked in.
Silence filled the space as Carmen entered the building, all eyes fell upon her in an instant. She tried her best to shrink back through the door but felt Kane's hand upon her side. Immediately she took a deep breath to quell the fire from his touch and opened her eyes to see a woman she didn't recognize at the bar with hand hovering over the shotgun on the wall.
“Whoa whoa, where just here to see Georgia!" Kane attempted to defuse.
“What the hell is that thing?" Someone whispered off to Carmen's right. Her eyes followed the sound to see a large biker looking man with green skin and tusks wide eyed towards her.
“Someone say my name?" A voice rose from within the back as a woman emerged. Her voice heavily bore a thick country accent that only could come from the deepest parts of the American south. It sounded like Georgia, yet the woman that emerged from the back only vaguely looked like her.
Georgia had always been sort of the plump stereotypical motherly type individual of Carmen's friend group. She never showed any interest in losing weight or generally being healthy. So, when a tall muscular centaur of a woman came ducking out from the back door donning Georgia's normal work uniform and face, it surprised the hell out of Carmen.
“Whoa- What's going on here?" Georgia asked her voice tinged with curiosity as she spotted the large winged lizard standing in the middle of the room. “Kane?"
“Hi Georgia." Carmen said with a forced smile as Kane just shrugged.
“Oh wow! That's… come on, let's go out back." Georgia spoke with a big smile. “It's all good everybody, she's with me."
The collection of individuals within the bar all looked at each other before a handful of them shrugged and went back to drinking and talking. Georgia motioned for the pair to follow her out the back door the significantly more private 'safe space' as she called it. A small forested area that used to surround the whole bar before industry made it's play.
“So, you're a dragon now?" Georgia asked as she looked over her. “That's pretty fucking cool."
Carmen looked over her body again, wings, scales, reptile. “Yeah, I guess I am, and you're a… centaur?"
“Fuck yeah, I am. This shit is the best." Georgia said as she flexed her now incredibly toned muscles.
Now that she was up close Carmen could tell that it was more than just the equine lower half that was transformed. From the look of her tight-fitting clothes almost all of her weight was gone, replaced by tight angular muscle. Similar but not the same to a female human body builder. Even her generous breasts were mostly gone replaced by tight muscle. Her face was also slightly more angular as well, with pointed ears sticking out of her golden locks. Her equine half shared similar colors, and like Carmen, she also had what looked like a blanket thrown over her back half.
“And husband's one too! It's a pretty sweet deal." Georgia finished, though her face fell as she saw Kane frown. “I can imagine you guys are having some… difficulties."
“We did." Kane spoke first. “But I think we've gotten over… most of them."
Carmen looked away as she felt heat was over her anew.
“Oh, that's good! I hope that things haven't gone too bad." Georgia said with a small laugh.
“I broke the bed." Carmen said offhandedly.
“Oh really? I did too! Well, we both did actually but Charles said I did it first so I'll believe em'!" Georgia responded. “I remember waking up all woozy after the voices, it was a whole trip. Charles thought it was dream because I lost all of my soft bits, but it was the truth!"
“We uh… had some difficulties." Carmen squeaked.
“Well let's not dwell on that stuff! Apparently, us 'encumbered' individuals, like you and myself are getting some hefty paychecks from Uncle Sam! So, let's go drink away our future money, alright?" Georgia joked a she pushed Carmen's scaled shoulder. “Come on, let's go inside."
Carmen gave Kane a hopeful look as Kane smiled back once again causing Carmen to give a puff of breath from the heat. The pair followed the centaur inside, back towards the bar thankfully not causing as much of a scene as the first time. Carmen, seeing how high off the ground she now stood, just moved one the high bar stools out of the way and sat on the ground.
Kane pipped up from behind Carmen as she sat. “I'm going to let you ladies drink, I gotta go see if I can grab some food and what not!"
Carmen nodded. “That… That makes sense."
Georgia smirked. “Have fun!"
Kane just laughed as he waved and walked out the door.
Georgia's ever positive smile fell upon Carmen. “So… What's it like?"
“What's what like?" Carmen responded.
“To be a dragon!" Georgia spoke poking Carmen's nose.
“What's it like to be a centaur?" Carmen retorted.
“Fucking amazing, I'll tell you what. I'm stronger, faster, and fitter than I've ever been in my life." Georgia said as her smile widened. “And the husband's hung like a you know what if you catch my drift."
Carmen gave a light smile and laughed, now more grateful than ever that her scales hit her intense blush.
“Though we haven't done it yet, he's too modest, and wants to 'take things slow' which I get." Georgia said with a more serious tone. “So…?"
Carmen's gaze fell down to her hand, its white claws contrasting the dark red scales that coated her whole body. “It's pretty strange, but I guess I'm stronger now."
“What's it like to walk on four legs?" Georgia followed up.
“Oh… I… Honestly I forgot, it feels kinda normal now, like I've done it my whole life." Carmen said as she looked down towards her folded legs.
“Yeah, I felt the same way with the horse half. Kinda just felt like I already knew what I was doin'." Georgia said with a nod. “But, have you flown yet?"
Carmen laughed anxiously as she shook her head, a quick glance towards her wings revealed that they were still in fact attached to her. “No, I… forgot I had them."
“Forgot? How! They look so cool." Georgia said in amazement. “I wish I had wings."
“I wish I just had wings; everything here has kinda been annoying." Carmen said her tone turning dower.
“How come?" Georgia asked, her tone shifting.
Carmen, catching onto this opened up. “Kane was… pretty scared of me when I woke up. It was only a couple hours ago that he actually started to not look at me with fear."
Georgia just listened.
“And… I look in the mirror and I don't see myself anymore, just whatever the hell this is. I feel like a monster." Carmen dropped.
“You are not a monster." Georgia said, as serious a tone Carmen had ever heard from her. “You are still the woman that I got drunk with in college, and some stupid body shifting ain't gonna change that!"
“But don't I look like one?" Carmen spoke her voice defeated.
“No way in hell! You look badass! You've got a sleekness, and sharpness; it's all just a different type of beautiful!"
A smile creeped its way upon Carmen's lips, whether she liked it or not Georgia's unending enthusiasm had an effect on her. She met her smiling eyes. “Thanks."
“It's true." Georgia said before spinning back to the bar. “So, can I get you something to drink?"
“Water." Carmen said, her parched immediately making itself known. She hadn't had a sip of water since last night, and it suddenly felt so obvious.
“Oh, don't want to live a little?" Georgia teased.
“Not in the mood for stumbling upon unknown allergies." Carmen responded teasing back.
“Oh, like a dog eating chocolate, I get you. I'll grab some water." Georgia responded.
“Did you just compare me to a dog?" Carmen asked.
Georgia stopped tail swaying before continuing. “Well, you're loyal like one."
“That doesn't make it any better." Carmen said back with a smile.
Georgia slammed a cup on the counter and filled it up with water. “Eh, drink your water."
Carmen shook her head and grabbed the relatively small cup. In one sip it was gone. Georgia looked at the cup in surprise. “Damn, and that was the big one. Here I gotta…"
Georgia reached underneath the bar and emerged with a large glass around the size of a bucket, big for even Carmen. “Here."
Carmen cautiously touched the glass, before Georgia slapped her hand. “Careful! It's novelty! some random drunk came in here left it on the bar and forgot it. I don't even know what it is."
“So, you kept it?" Carmen asked with a small laugh.
“It's a big ass glass bucket, what was I gonna' do, throw it away?" Georgia retorted.
Carmen just laughed, as she filled it up with water.
“You know what's funny, my cousin, Ronald, you met him at my wedding, remember? Red hair?" Georgia began as Carmen shrugged. “Anyway, he turned into a centaur like me, but he was in the fuckin' elevator going to work!"
Carmen's eyes went wide. “That must've sucked."
“Yeah! He called me afterwards, told me that the fire department came down and cut him out. Crazy stuff." Georgia continued as she finished filling up the bucket. “I guess I'm lucky I just broke our bed. You ever find a replacement for yours?"
“No, I… I've been kinda' split between all this." Carmen responded taking a sip of the large bucket as Georgia threw some ice in it.
“Yeah, yeah I get it." Georgia responded.
“Do you know how that money works?" Carmen asked. “The grant or whatever from the government."
“Oh yeah! So, you gotta' go to the DMV and reregister yourself as a 'shifted individual'. They added a whole race thing to the card and everything." Georgia said as she rifled through a sewed pocket on the blanket she wore, revealing her wallet and subsequently her ID. Just like she had said, a species marker lied with 'Centaur' underneath her new photo, along with that a 'day of transformation'. “Then they sent me an email afterwards that I may be called for 'reimbursement' for being a 'encumbered individual'."
“They act like this is their fault or something. Why are they giving us money for this?" Georgia continued as she began to make a margarita.
“Day of transformation? Was it not all at once?" Carmen asked as she inspected the ID in her claws.
“I guess not! The lady at the counter told me that they expect multiple more 'waves'. Lots of information they seem to know that we don't. Never seen the government keep this big of secret." Georgia responded as she began to shake a mixer.
“I guess I'll have to get there tomorrow if Kane's up for it." Carmen said just as confused. “How did you even get here?"
“I live right around the block, remember? I just walked." Georgia said with a smile as she poured her drink.
“Yeah, yeah sorry my brain…" Carmen said shaking her head.
“Nah, I understand, lots of stuff happening so little time to process it." Georgia responded as she took a sip of her margarita. “I'm honestly shocked so many people are fine with this whole thing. Rumor is there were already some of these fantasy creatures living in hiding, all of em' coming out at once kinda' softened the blow I guess."
Carmen raised her brow. “Wait, so they were already here? Isn't that like an invasion?"
“I mean… I guess? But I'm not to bothered by it cause' Farmer Joe, the guy who gives me the ingredients for my beer, was apparently a minotaur! Used some fancy 'magic' stuff to hide it. Super big guy, even bigger after." Georgia explained. “And he's cool, so if he's cool, I imagine most the people already living here were cool too."
Carmen nodded as she took another sip of the water. “Makes sense."
Georgia's face hardened again as she looked over Carmen. “You know, I thought I was gonna' have a tough time figuring this stuff out and living my life but… You definitely have your plate filled."
“Yeah… Kane's still on edge, and I…"
“You'll figure it out. If anyone can push through all of the hell your being served, it's you. You're one of the strongest women I know and I'd expect nothing less."
Carmen blushed under scales and smiled. “We'll see."
“I'll see you getting all cuddly with Kane again, that's what I'll see." Georgia said with a smirk.
“Well anyway, I gotta go pee, and I don't fit in the bathroom, so I'll be back in a minute." Georgia finished as she sat her drink down, and turned to leave. “Don't have too much fun without me!"
With the clop of hooves against hardwood she was gone. Carmen looked back down the at the glass barrel, the idea that she needed something so large to sate her new size did not sit well in stomach, but she emptied it regardless, desperate to cure her sudden thirst. Her eyes locked with the water humanoid that sat upon the corner of the bar awkwardly.
The doors swung open suddenly breaking the murmur of the quiet bar. Carmen's head darted around at the sudden slam of wind to shudder at the sight. A large, though only slightly larger than her, blue scaled wing bearing lizard walked through the door. A dragon, one of the masculine persuasion, she couldn't tell by looking though the smell told her she was in trouble.
The dragon was wearing strange jewels and leather clothes, nothing that seemed even vaguely modern. He was tailed by two humanoids, who trailed him towards a booth, though the drake and locked onto Carmen's still shaking staring form. Carmen tore her view away and tried to look for Georgia, though found her nowhere to be seen.
She could smell him, oh god she could smell him. It was the most irresistible scent that she had ever felt in her entire life. Like a salty spicey smell that burned her nostrils and fueled her bonfire. The smell seemingly filled the room to a point where she couldn't escape it. Her body raged for her to submit to the powerful male as his smell seemingly marked it so.
“A new drake?" His voice was like a hot knife through butter. Masculine dense, and powerful things that made her body lock up.
Carmen turned to face him slowly trying to hide her burning arousal. “Uh- No…" Her voice was incredibly shaky.
“Ha! I wondered if I'd run into one of you, and what a delectable little thing you are." His voice was foreign, with an accent that sounded both familiar and yet entirely alien. English was most definitely a tongue he was not familiar with.
Carmen cringed at the words and tried to look away but her eyes kept darting to him.
“Look at you, practically about to fall apart and the seams just from my scent." His voice dripped with the arousal that she craved. “I can smell you too." He whispered in her ear.
Her insides shattered at the words, her body burned with want and desire and her overactive slit was flooded with pure lust. Though her mind recognized the words as disgusting, it took every ounce of willpower she had to not jump off the ground and mount him.
“Have you ever even met a real drake before? I was born in the wilds, I know how to really please you, better than anything these pesky elves could get you." The drake emphasized his gaze cataloging every piece of her body beneath the blanket like a butcher with pieces of meat.
Carmen began to speak but the drake cut her off.
“Why don't you take a look at the real deal." The drake said with a powerful smirk.
She didn't need to look below him. She could smell it; she could smell the thick musk that radiated off his body in waves. The powerful odor that burned a painful hole in her power to fight back. It seemingly skipped right past her brain and straight into her crotch. Though she did anyway, she slowly leaned her head down below his legs.
A twitching spire of purple dragon meat sat dripping beneath his thighs. A long-ridged tool with what looked like a canine knot throbbing heavily. It looked bigger than anything she had ever seen before, other than maybe specialty sex toys. She felt as if she could practically see the steam radiating off the burning tool. She slowly moved forwards towards it, wanting nothing more than to grab it and shove it into her awaiting gash.
She began to move her legs forward but found her head forcefully pressed down against the ground. “tch tch tch, no no… If you want this, you're going to have beg for it." His voice dripped with control and disgusting power.
Carmen's body craved it while her mind screamed at everything for it to stop.
“What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Kane's voice echoed through the door way.
The blue drake made a slow glance towards him barely regarding him. He turned back towards Carmen and pressed harder down on her head. “Beg."
“No, the fuck she is not, back the fuck off buddy!" Kane said as he kicked his paw and stepped between Carmen and him as he recoiled.
“Foolish elf, you're interrupting greatness." The drake's voice dripped with indignation.
“I'm interrupting you about to-"
“What the flying fuck is going on here?" Another voice, this time Georgia's came from the back. “Put that fucking thing away you creep before you wish you didn't have it." She said as she spotted his hanging cock.
This time the drake flinched at the sight, clearly putting more threat in a Centaur than in Kane. “I was laying my claim on a willing female, she clearly was in want. I could smell it from across the village."
“All I see is you taking advantage of one of my dear friends, you jackass." Georgia responded.
“The female clearly wants, can't you, even with your lesser nose smell her desire?" The drake sneered.
Kane starred daggers at the drake as he drew a pocket taser, not entirely certain if it would work. Georgia on the other hand, without even looking grabbed the shotgun and cocked it pointing towards the drake.
“You can fuck right off or I'll show you want this female wants." Georgia responded, holding the gun steady towards his face.
The color in the drakes' scales lightened a bit as his eyes darted between Kane and Georgia, though the lingered upon the centaur much longer than the man. Slowly he took a cautious step back. “F- Fine." The drake stuttered as he turned tail and left the building, the two humans that followed him in staying behind.
Kane looked back towards Carmen with worry, though his brow furrowed in confusion upon the sight of her desperate face. “Are you… You were going to…" It hit him hard.
Disappointment, anger, and then defeat passed through his face in waves as Carmen's inner self shattered. She had failed to keep herself together, failed to fight against her own instincts. Kane was pissed and it wasn't just at the Drake. He moved to start saying something but caught himself, took a deep breath and then finally spoke. “I'm leaving."
Kane turned around and walked towards the door in silence, not even a single glace back towards Carmen. “Kane! Wait!" Carmen finally said her voice still shaky.
There was nothing in response as Carmen rose from the ground and darted towards the door, her lust addled legs still wobbling with every step. Kane wordlessly got in the truck and started it, then sat waiting in the tinted truck. Carmen could see his head slumped against the wheel. She walked towards the door. “K- Kane, I'm sorry, I…"
He didn't lift his head as he just pointed towards the bed. There was nothing she could do here. Carmen lowered her head in personal defeat as she boarded the truck and closed the tail gate. Holding on tight as the Truck drove all the way back to their house.
Carmen wasn't paying attention to anything; she didn't really care about her surroundings as she replayed the events of the bar back through her head. Nothing about what the Drake said or did bring anything to her, but his smell… The thick heady smell that even now permeated the air around her brought the fire back in a moment. That absolute douche of a lizard brought her to her knees entirely through the scent of his body alone. The thought hurt, it dug at her so powerfully that she felt she may actually bear wounds from the pain.
The harsh turn of the driveway brought her out of her stupor as she watched Kane get out of the truck and slam the door. He marched to the front door and slammed it as well. Carmen slowly jumped out of the truck and crawled back towards the door. She had never felt so horrifically small in her life.
When she entered the house, Kane was nowhere to be found, the only hint of him ever being there was now the locked bedroom door with the sounds of crying from the other side.
“Kane? I…" Carmen began, causing the crying to only worsen. “I'm sorry."
Nothing changed, nothing came, she had truly failed, her only chance to make this right was long gone. A piercing pain gripped her chest as she stared at the grain of the door. “I'm… so sorry Kane, I…" she began again the hell of her mindscape showing through her words.
“I'm sorry." She said again to the muffled crying, to which no response came.
The door did not move, it did not open, it did not unlock. It taunted her to break it down and rush to her love, but she knew that would only make things so much worse. So instead, she laid down as the unending feeling of defeat and self-betrayal ate away at her being. She wanted to leave again, wanted to find a cure, but she couldn't leave him. Something was there that made the thought of leaving him so endlessly painful.
Time passed as her eyes burned holes into the wood. The muffled sounds of tears eventually faded as the sun began to set. The beautiful oranges of the evening filling the home, a deep contrast to the pile of red defeated scales on the floor.
Eventually she fell asleep. Though her mind was never at rest. Thoughts of the drake, Kane, and all the events of the day assaulted mind relentlessly, tormenting her every thought, never giving her a moment to herself. Instead of the human she once was, she now sat as some amalgamation of myth and legends upon the floor. A scaled abomination she was, and she expected Kane to love her? Fat chance.
Carmen awoke to the sound of shuffling not far from her. The door was open, Kane wasn't in the room anymore. Her attention darted throughout the home, trying her best to pin him down only to hear shuffling within the kitchen. Slowly she quietly shifted to her feet and crawled towards the sound, eye darting across the room as if something may attack her.
The kitchen was dark, the sun had just begun to rise and it had not hit the edges of the building yet. Kane stood silently above the kitchen sink. He glanced at her, his face bright red as tears ran down his cheek. “I rushed through those doors thinking you were getting… hurt, or attacked or something…"
“Then… then you looked at me." Kane said as he turned towards her. His eyes were bloodshot. “And you looked like I had just ruined your FUCKING life." He yelled.
His body shook with every shaking word. Eyes darting towards the ground as his shoulders slumped.
“You know, maybe we can't do this." He shook his head, his voice defeated. “Because… Because it's clear that I'm not what you're looking for if the first fucking lizard you see…" He his voice broke.
“Kane, I…" Carmen began her body tight against the ground.
“Don't you fucking dare, 'Kane' me, I saw what I fucking saw!" Kane yelled, his emotions flaring. “I… I thought that maybe we could… we could figure this out, but I… I don't know now."
Carmen eyes stayed locked upon the ground as the words left his mouth. The world dulled, her vision blurred, her heart pounded as everything seemed to slow. A great powerful pain grew within her heart as her mind focused on his words. There were no tears, there would never be any tears.
“I'm sorry." Carmen peeped her breaths ragged. “I… I'm so, so sorry."
“I- I don't want your apologies." Kane said staring out the window. “I… I just want to know... why?"
“I- I don't… He was… I'm sorry." Carmen wheezed as her breaths grew ragged. “I don't know what made me…"
Kane turned to face her as Carmen's eyes landed upon him. He was pissed, to an extreme extent but he was restraining it. “What did he have that made him so… irresistible to you?" His voice dripped with pain.
“He… He… He smelled…" Carmen began, the words biting her as they left her mouth. “He smelled… good…" She whispered.
“He smelled good?" Kane's voice was coated in disbelief. “All of that was because he fucking smelled good?"
“You- You don't…" Carmen's voice cracked.
“You're right. I- I don't." Kane replied. “I truly don't understand, so maybe we should-"
His eyes met her. Carmen was sprawled out across the ground haphazardly, tail trailing behind her, wings limb on her sides, she had fallen to the ground without noticing. Her breaths were dragged her eyes were barely glowing, her whole body was shaking with emotion. Everything felt so far away.
“D- Dammit Carmen." Kane said as he spotted her. “I-"
“I'm so sorry." Carmen cut him off as she caught her breath. “I messed up, I… when we… my body…"
Kane's anger cracked at the sight. “Carmen… I… Just... What happened?"
Carmen looked towards him and only saw a broken man. Her breath broke once more. “I- W- When you l- left, h- he came in and… and he smelled… hot… and then he came over and he… was such a jackass, but his scent was…" She could feel herself getting flustered again
“It's really is about the smell then?" Kane's voice was quiet, the pain and defeat pouring through his voice. He looked down the ground as his back slid against the cabinet into sitting position. “I see."
Kane laid his head into his arms and began to silently cry. Carmen shakily stood up at the sight, wanting nothing more than to comfort him. “K- Kane, I still love you, I just- I just fucked up bad… I'm- I'm sorry."
“Do you?!" He yelled as his head snapped up towards her. “Because it seems to be that I'm obviously missing something that… that he had!"
“If- If some fucking jackass can walk into a room and… and bring you to your knees, how am I supposed to feel about that?" Kane's voice was strained with every word. “If it's that bad then what the hell am I supposed to do?"
Carmen was a mess; her whole body was shaking as she leaned against one of the walls. Everything felt weak and slow. All of her repressed emotions over the course of the last few hours were beginning to emerge again, she just wanted to go back to the couch, she wanted it all to be over.
Kane saw this and once again broke. “I- Carmen… I'm sorry I- I shouldn't have yelled. I'm…"
Carmen looked up towards him, his face was full of conflict. She felt hollow.
“I'm scared… not- not of you! I'm- I'm scared that this is the end." He spoke as his gaze drifted towards the kitchen. “With all of the things we've done, this life we've built… the thought of losing you… hurts more than anything."
“I- I don't know what you're going through but if… if it's something that I can't handle… then maybe… maybe you were right." Kane said defeated.
“No! Nonono! I-" Carmen immediately panicked. “I-" She watched his eyes slowly move to her, bloodshot and full of pain.
“I… When you kissed me, before we left… I…" Carmen began. “I felt something inside me… start."
Kane raised a brow. “What?"
“You… you lit a fire in me that I… I don't understand why but it makes me…" Her eyes looked up to him, hoping he wasn't in the beginnings of leaving. Carmen's mind darted for the word, to attempt to describe the overwhelming feeling that permeated her body. “Really… aroused…"
“… What?" Kane asked again, truly and dearly confused.
“I- I don't know, I can't explain it, it's like… it's like my body wants it so much more than my mind does and it didn't go away after we stopped it just… stayed." Carmen stuttered. “Then the… douche came in the bar and everything screamed at me to concede and I tried to fight back but I almost…" She felt the feelings begin to return.
Carmen's eyes darted throughout the room as her emotions blazed once again. “Kane I…"
“I'm sorry… I wasn't able to keep myself together and I… I almost did something I was really gonna' regret. But…" Carmen's gaze averted him, her voice cracking. “I've tried so hard to… to figure this out myself, but I don't think I…"
“Kane, I need you… I… I feel like I'm- I'm losing a battle with whatever this and I… I need you to… to help." Carmen stuttered as she flexed her hand. “But you… you were- were scared, and lonely and I… I didn't want to burden you."
Silence filled the air as Kane's brow furrowed. He looked towards the ground with a pained expression, his mind still fully confused. Sighing, he asked. “Carmen… do you still... love me?"
Carmen took a step back out of shock. “W- What kind of question is that?! Of course, I do! With everything I've got!" The anxiety in her voice melting away for but a moment.
“I…" He began as he looked back up towards her. “I was trying to hide it before… with my flirting."
He looked off towards the side. “But I'm feeling pretty conflicted about that. I sat on that couch holding your head and I didn't even know if I still had feelings for you."
Carmen took a step back as he spoke, her eyes burning with sadness.
“When I said what I said before, I… was trying to calm myself down… but now…" Kane said as he made eye contact with her again. “I really, truly, love you. I'm sorry that I… that I'm causing all these problems and I…"
“But I'm here for you, we'll figure this out, and I mean it this time. It's you and me through whatever the hell happens next. Okay?" Kane finished tears threatening to break at his words.
Carmen didn't waste a beat as she crawled up towards him and shoved her head into his arms. There was nothing else that needed to be said as Carmen laid down next to him, her towering body easily overshadowing his entire form. That didn't matter though, as she laid her head once again on his lap, appreciating the feeling of her head in his arms. Then he began to cry, and Carmen soon after, a painful yet happy experience that echoed throughout the empty home. The feelings flowed freely as their bonded wails joined together in a regained harmony. Though like all good things, it had to end, despite neither one of them wanting it to. Even after, they stayed within each other's embrace, passing the time cuddled next to each other.
Lots of time passed in this moment, but it didn't matter. They were there for each other and that was what was most important.
A small chuckle came from Kane's throat. “It's gone."
A quizzical tone came from Carmen's unmoving head, her eyes still closed.
“My fear… I…" Kane's voice radiated happiness as he continued to stroke her head. “I just… I just see you now, Carmen, the real you."
Carmen hesitantly smiled, as she opened her eyes and lifted her head. “You mean… me?"
“Yeah." Kane replied nodding his head and wiping his tears, before setting a hand on her scaled cheek. “The real, beautiful you."
“I… I don't feel…" Carmen's eyes looked at her reflection in the glass.
“Stop it." Kane said as he dragged her gaze to his. “You'll always be beautiful to me. No matter what you look like."
Carmen leaned into the touch as her smile widened, it was over, it was finally over. “You look pretty good yourself."
Kane blushed and laughed. “Thanks."
Carmen's eyes ran through the house once again, its empty rooms lit by the morning sunrise. Eventually her gaze feels upon Kane once again. He sat in silence, a smile upon his face as he watched her. It was clear there was nothing else he wanted. Carmen returned the smile and set her head back on his lap, and he returned back to stroking it.
Though not for long however, as Kane broke the silence and asked. “So… do you want to try again?"
Carmen lifted her head in quick confusion as she met eyes with Kane. Kane repeated himself, his expression making the question obvious. “Do you?"
Carmen's face went flush, her body beginning to shake as the unending need for his touch made its presence known once again. “Well… only if-"
Kane's mouth was on hers before she even had a change to close it, pulled into a deep kiss. Carmen initially resisted both surprised and scared, but found her retreat blocked by Kane. His hands firmly against her cheeks pulling her towards him as hard as he could, which to her wasn't very hard. Though she wasn't going anywhere, she leaned into the kiss, hoping this would be it.
Then, he moved to try again, once again attempting to explore her massive maw with his comparatively tiny tongue. She let him, for but a moment, before the need passed through her again. Slowly she pushed her tongue into his mouth, a significantly smaller space then her own. Kane didn't back out, he didn't pull back, he only took the feeling and ran his tongue across hers.
They were so close to each other, his smell was so potent so close, a deep masculine cologne sticking to his skin permanently. A warm, yet spicy scent that covered his body beautifully. Not to mention the feeling of his mouth from her tongue, it felt so small to her yet now, after everything, that didn't matter. She wanted this to last forever, to explore deeper, to feel all there was.
It was fantastic, until a certain point. It all came crashing down as Kane pulled out coughing.
Carmen immediately recoiled at the disconnect, panic pulsed through her as her eyes darted around. She had made another mistake, it was over, wasn't it?
“I… I have to… I have to breath… Carmen." Kane said breathlessly a large smile across his face.
Carmen gaze fell upon him waiting for him to break, but there was no disgust, no fury, just happiness. “You… you were fine? You're fine with… this? Even with your… your fear?" She motioned with a hand to her entire form.
“Carmen I…" Kane stopped as he caught his breath and smiled towards her. “I love you, no matter what you look like."
“I… But-" Carmen's words began to stumble out before Kane cut her off with a kiss upon the snout once again.
Kane pulled back with a smile. “You're so cute when you're flustered."
Pure unfiltered giddiness ran through Carmen's form as her head pulled back and a deep blush blossomed underneath her scales. She fidgeted anxiously as he rose from the ground, eyes laying back upon her, his smile never fading. “Well?"
Carmen shrunk as she shakily turned towards the bedroom, she felt like a teenager all over again, all of these powerful feelings so foreign yet so familiar. She could feel Kane's eyes looking up at her larger body as she walked in front, did she think that she looked good? Was this something he wanted? She shuffled past the door, and gave one look towards the broken bed seeing its shattered frame fallen upon the left side.
Kane came in behind, face perturbed for but a moment before spotting her nervous form. “Oh, I… well."
Shrugging, he walked over and grabbed the mattress from the frame and began, in vain, to pull and tug if off the bed. Though the hefty slab of memory foam sat defiantly to his attempts. Carmen sheepishly creeped over his shoulder and with one hand gripping it, yanked it onto the floor with unsurprising ease.
The sudden give caused Kane to stumble backwards and collapse to the ground, tumbling just off to the left of her towering scaled form. He rubbed his back as Carmen darted to him in worry, her head coming close this, worry drenching her face. Blinking a couple times, he grabbed her horn and lifted himself up. The abrupt touch to her strange addition made Carmen pull back less in surprise more just in shock for him using her body part as a crutch so casually.
Before continuing Kane suddenly stopped, standing in the middle of the room eyes darting between both Carmen and the blanket scattered mattress. Carmen froze, was he having second thoughts? Kane only sighed, before a small smile creeped on his face. Then his gaze landed upon Carmen, and his brow furrowed, before it softened. His smile grew to a full grin before he finally spoke. “God, I love you, Carmen."
“I… I love you too, Kane." Carmen responded, her mind still buzzing with a too many emotions to make a quick response.
Kane just chuckled as he began to pull his shirt over his head and in one move drop his pants, throwing both roughly towards the closet door. Carmen's eyes laid locked upon his slowly dropping underwear, a cage for the rather large tool that she had become so familiar with. Her eyes burned a hole into his skin as her mind immediately switched back towards that primal instinct of pure lust. It took everything she had to resist the urge to pin him down, just with the sight of it alone.
“So…?" Carmen hadn't realized that Kane was staring at her.
“Oh- I…" Carmen's gaze ripped away from him and darted towards the mattress. “Should I…?"
“Just… lay down on your back… I want to take this slow." Kane spoke as his smile returned at her modesty.
Carmen did as instructed, though her body still shook insistently at even the thought of her needs being sated. Her heart pounded, her body ached, her lust burned, but above all her mind was nervous for his reaction to whatever now lied between her legs. She fell to the ground wings splayed out and limbs hanging in the air as her head drifted up to watch Kane.
He had wandered over to her side, hands hovering just above the large scutes that ran across her lower body. Carmen's form, even while laying down, was a wall of scales in front of Kane. The top of her chest, rising with each breath, sat almost up to his shoulders in height. Kane's gaze kept upon it before catching a glance of her conflicted face.
Carmen wanted to scream at him to go between her legs and solve her problem. An inner part of her wanted to stand up and force him to remove this painful lust, but her fear overwhelmed it all. Her overarching, all consuming fear. The fear that one wrong move, one wrong word, one wrong look, could end all of this for her. Normally she was the one who was more 'dominant' but her fear made that not the case.
Kane's touch against her scales was electric, she could practically feel the spark. Carmen let out a pitiful groan as Kane slowly ran his hands across her chest, slowly just getting a feel for the new texture of her new body. His fingers lingered upon every scale, upon every crack and every bend. His hands trailed up her chest down her side and crawled up her arms. Carmen caught her now heavy breaths as the scales began to slowly thin out and the feeling of his touch grew stronger and stronger.
Kane lightly pulled her arm down from its limply hanging position to a level in which he could better reach, continuing his exploration of her new form. His ran his hands across her dense forearms and hands, marveling at the fact that all of them combined came close to the size of his torso. He fingers ran across her wrist before slowly running across her inner hand, tickling the inside of wide grip. Kane smiled as he heard a deep trill rumbling from within Carmen.
“That's still a good spot?" Kane asked, a mischievous smile upon his face.
Carmen's glance back was full of desperation, her fiery eyes a blaze and her neck scales glowing softly. “St- Stop teasing…" Her breaths were heavy and voice raspy.
The smile upon Kane's face blossomed into soft laughter. “Okay."
Carmen shivered as Kane ran his hand across her body, slowly making his way towards the more… intimate side of her. His painfully slow steps caused Carmen's deep heavy breaths to quicken, her heart to pound in her chest. He was so close, so close to it all. Kane rounded her back leg and approached the thick tail that trailed off past the mattress and bunched up against the nearby wall. Then his eyes laid upon it.
Kane was visibly perturbed at the sight, at least at first, before his eyes hit Carmen's and his smile returned, but as he looked down towards her crotch his brow furrowing once again. A thick horizontal slit sliced from one of her legs to another. The needy mound sat angrily swollen from all of the teasing that had transpired. Kane looked across, attempting to find something that was not there. As between her legs, there was only one entrance, not two.
“If it's too much we can-" Carmen began to say as she moved to stand up.
“No!" Kane panicked. “I mean, no. I… I'm… You stay where you are." She recognized the words; he was trying to be her in their normal routine. Carmen shrunk with modesty.
Kane ran a hand down her thicker belly scales, the dense scutes that lined the entirety of her underside. Split only by the throbbing opening that she craved to fill. His touch felt electric, growing only more powerful with every inch he moved closer. This was it; this was the final test. Was he going to…?
Carmen went to speak but found her voice cut off by Kane running a finger across her most sensitive part. Her body tensed and her breath was caught in her throat as the feeling of his finger, now coated in her fluids, ran across the sensitive fold.
He slowly looked towards her as he pulled his hand away. “Do you want me to-?"
“Yes! Please god yes." Carmen whimpered, her voice coming off far more aggressive than she meant but she didn't care anymore.
Kane nodded and quickly moved back only to stop just before. His hands floating hesitantly above the head sized mound between her legs. Carmen would have been worried if she wasn't being melted by her unending lust. Instead, all she felt was the overwhelming want for his touch, she craved it, she needed it.
“Please…" Carmen whined; her voice desperate beyond measure.
Kane gave one last look towards Carmen before he slowly moved his hands back down. Carmen could only give a weak moan as he pushed the thick folds of her aching slit apart, his fingers tracing where the smooth scales transitioned to soft, pink flesh. He started slowly, pulling carefully and cautiously till he was staring at the two holes within. Kane looked on in more curiosity than anything, till the neediness within Carmen caused her the flex sending a wave of pure unadulterated hormonal musk directly into his face.
Carmen's eyes snapped open as the feeling of Kane's weight upon her body faded. He had pulled back, coughing from the dense scent that slammed into him. Carmen was snapped out immediately as reality came back. She watched as Kane reacted so heavily to something that her body had created, and began to pull away.
Kane saw this and quickly grabbed her fleeing foot. “No… No, it's not bad, it just… caught me off guard."
Carmen didn't believe him, but she stayed where she was anyway, still desperate for his touch. Carmen's eyes laid locked upon him as he ran his hand down the inside of her leg back down towards her seeping vent. She could feel his hesitation, his fear? Anxiety? Disgust? One of these emotions caused his hand to slow as it ran up the thicker scales of her tail.
Suddenly, as he pushed through it all, Carmen felt her vent open once again, the cool air brisk against the sensitive flesh. A painful handful of seconds past as nothing seemed to happen, was he staring at it, was he… she looked on to see him inspecting her. A powerful primal part of her brain cherished this, it roared with passion at the sight of him taking in her scent. Though her saner mind worried that this was all going to fast.
A light trill of surprise and pleasure was all she was able to get out as Kane caressed the most sensitive of her inner holes. One of his digits lied buried between her legs, and then as he noticed her pleasure, it became too and quickly three. Carmen had never felt something like this before, it was so drastically different from anything she had ever been able to comprehend before. With every movement of his surprisingly small fingers waves of pleasure rippled through her body. Then, most likely accidently Kane brushed what was most likely her clit, and all her muscles at once tensed from the piercing spike of overwhelming pleasure.
Yet as Kane's dexterous digits stroked her, she couldn't help but crave more. She somehow knew that he could go farther, deeper harder than he had ever before. Carmen's eyes laid upon Kane as her mouth parted to relieve the heat, his eyes were locked upon her, he was truly here for her. She knew she needed to tell him how she felt. The words came before her mind even realized she was saying it. In the short moments it took to process it she knew it was necessary. “M- More. Deeper." The voice that came out didn't sound like her, it was more like an animalistic growl than the tone that she had lived with her entire life, but she didn't care.
Kane only nodded, stopped for a few painful seconds before he pushed his whole fist into her body, then as he realized it was deeper, his whole arm. Words immediately lost meaning. Her vision was filled with stars as time became an abstract concept. The feeling of his entire arm moving in and out of her was intensely powerful. The pride that she could fit it, the pleasure from the feeling, and the love that he was there to do it.
The wet sounds of their love joined her deep breaths as the deep heady scent of dragoness lust filled the room. A tiny part of her knew should she feel disgusted at the bestial smell, but all she could feel was pride. Carmen could hear Kane's heavy breaths joining hers as the smell of his sweat joined her scent. She only closed her eyes and basked in the pleasure of his forceful pounding within.
Then, suddenly, like a rogue wave against a boat. Carmen no longer existed. Instead, pure pleasure and bestial satisfaction filled her inner self. Waves of forceful energy slammed through her body as she climaxed. Her eyes rolled back as her tongue lolled out, her mind no longer processing anything that was going around her. Until she realized that she was yelling, or at least she thought she was, instead what she was actually doing was giving a large animalistic roar that shook the very foundations of the home.
She didn't care though. Her head fell back against the wall as she immediately ran out of energy. For those few great seconds nothing mattered more than the immense relief she now felt flowing through her veins. A sound echoed through the room, one slightly irritating to her primal brain. Her eyes flickered open as the aimed to find the source of this strange noise.
Until her eyes fell upon Kane once again, and Carmen returned. She blinked a few times before she realized just how out of breath she now was, and she didn't even really do anything.
“Are you okay?" Kane's face was plastered with worry as he repeated the question.
Carmen only nodded as she attempted to catch her breath. A deep intense smile grew across her face as the root of her satisfaction came into view. “Yeah." Was all that she said.
Kane smiled back as he nodded quietly.
A moment or two passed as the two lovers kept their eyes locked, though Carmen was the first to break this, her fiery eyes drifting down Kane's body inspecting him like a predator. She noticed his right arm entirely coated in a thick slimy fluid that dripped down the ground slowly. But she skipped that instead landing right upon his crotch, eyes locking onto his slightly hardening tool. Wordlessly Carmen, still with a strong smile, shakily rose to her feet as Kane raised a brow in confusion. “What are you doing?"
“Repaying the favor." Carmen responded as her head moved closer to his penis. Her glowing scales and yellow eyes illuminating his otherwise darkened body. Those aforementioned eyes never left the powerful tool that laid between his thin legs.
A powerful deep masculine musk that permeated his space, as distinct as his name. “You smell good." Her lust drunk mind said.
Kane nervously ran a hand across her massive head. “L- Like the drake?" Her mind flashed back to the drake before, to the weapon that he had between his, and disgust only followed. She forced her mind back to the moment, and took a deep powerful sniff of his scent.
Carmen at first didn't respond, instead with her large tongue she trailed the area up from his crotch all the way to his pecs, savoring the taste of his masculinity as she met his gaze. “Better." Her fiery eyes piercing through her nervous face as her warm breath surrounded his smaller form.
By this point Kane was rock hard, he had always been a submissive little man at heart and Carmen finally felt comfortable enough with him to return back to her role. Carmen slowly and teasingly licked the tip of his throbbing cock, she traced the edges of every vein, every ridge, and every bump. Only vaguely noticing how small it was now compared to even her tongue itself, she pushed the thought aside and focused on the main course.
She smiled as she felt Kane grunt and stumble from the teasing, though stumbled in the routine of things as she felt him grab her horns for stability. At first the strangeness of the feeling took center stage, before the pride of being strong enough to support him replaced it. Kane practically fell apart as Carmen continued, fully shoving her maw into his crotch and enveloping his tool with her tongue.
Carmen basked in the feelings of her lover, the scent, the flavor, the sight. Everything that made him, him. Kane on the other hand, was not holding up well, Carmen could feel him putting more and more of his weight upon her head as she continued. Each stroke of her tongue against his flesh let loose a new grunt or moan from him as the feelings that she knew well overwhelmed him.
“I… I'm-" Then, just as quickly as it started, Kane's whole body tensed and throbbed with pleasure. His hips weakly thrusted against her crimson maw as Carmen tasted the familiar flavor of cum. He tensed and flexed until finally he fell weakly against her head, all of his weight being supported by just her neck. The feeling was disheartening at first, the insane size difference between the two, but she didn't care anymore. Instead, she stood there, supporting her lover in the most literal way as he caught his breath.
Kane wordlessly pulled away as his tool slipped out of Carmen's mouth, coated in her fluids. “That was…" Kane said breathlessly.
“That was great." Carmen finished the thought.
Kane just nodded as he smiled, sweat rolling liberally down his forehead. “Yeah."
Their eyes met in perfect harmony as their smiles grew to match. Carmen, taking the lead, finally spoke. “Thank you. I… I'm sorry that I-"
Kane just placed a hand on her nose and shushed her. “Don't worry about it. Ever. I understand."
Silence fell as their eyes stayed locked. Unspoken emotions being communicated just by looks alone. The moments passed as no sounds were made. They were both just happy to be together.
“That was amazing." Kane finally said. “I… I was worried, but- It… you…"
“I get it." Carmen cut him off. “It was really great."
Kane smiled, with no fear, no anxiety, no disgust and no pain. “It was really great, wasn't it?"
