Letting My Trainer Know
CHAPTER 2
I finally came to after who knows when. With my eyes still closed, I realized I was in a bed with warm blankets. I felt a hot towel on my brow as I opened my eyes. I looked around; I was in a spacious bedroom with a huge bay window overlooking the beach. To my left was a nightstand with a tray of what looked like medicine. Also, through my blurry vision, I made out what looked like a big white shape lying on the easy chair. To my surprise, the shape moved.
"You're awake Ty!"
My eyes immediately closed as I winced from the piercing noise. I opened them again as I saw a face looking down at me.
"Han?" I said weakly.
"No silly, it's Togekiss!" She said cheerily. "We've all been taking turns looking after you! You're in Han's room right now."
"Oh. Hi. Could you not be so loud?" I groggily said.
"Sorry, you did fall off a cliff after all." Togekiss whispered.
"Yeah, I thought I died."
"Don't say things like that, Ty!" Togekiss scolded me in a motherly tone. "How did you even fall in the first place? I remember hearing Han shout at you and Salamence and then looking over to see you fall. You had me so worried!"
I sighed inwardly. Togekiss was the closest thing to a parent me and the team had to a parent, (Excluding Han of course.) but I thought I could take care of myself.
"Okay, okay sorry." I tried to get up, but when I moved any limb, pain shot through me like a sword.
"Uuugh" I grunted in pain.
"Oh Ty..." Togekiss murmered, "You're injured you know."
"Ow, how bad were my injuries?"
Togekiss' expression became sober. "They were bad. When Swampert brought you to shore, you weren't breathing, your fur was soaking wet, and your body was freezing cold. We didn't have any potion in the villa either so...."
"Then what happened?" I said, wanting to know more.
"Well, Salamence and I fetched Nurse Joy but the Pokémon center was in the next town. So to keep you alive in the meantime," Togekiss then tried to giggle a little, "Han apparently gave you mouth to mouth."
My cheeks immediately began to burn up like crazy. I had to roll on my side so Togekiss wouldn't see.
"Hey! You shouldn't move so suddenly, you'll hurt yourself again." Togekiss pouted.
"I'm fine, can I see Han?" I said trying to sound neutral.
"Sure."
Togekiss then left to fetch Han. I put my hand to my lips. Thinking about what Togekiss said.
"Han kissed me." I muttered incredulously to myself. I then mentally slapped myself. He was trying to save my life, not trying make out with me. What kind of Typhlosion am I? Blushing and dreaming about my MALE human trainer. If I didn't have this stupid crush in the first place, I wouldn't have fallen. Besides, we're best friends, what if he didn't like me back? I would ruined our friendship then. I was getting frustrated.
"Damnit" I said to myself.
"Something wrong?"
I looked over to see Han walking in while placing a pair of odd headphones on his ears. Those must be the new PokeTranslators. Following close behind Han were the other Pokémon. They all seemed worried while eager to find out what happened except for Salamence, who had a guilty look on his face.
"Hey Ty," Salamence said, "It was all my fault, I caused you to fall. I'm so sorry..."
I looked at him and smiled cheekily. I never saw him ever looking so shy. "No worries, Sal, it wasn't your fault. I just lost concentration for a bit."
"How?" Leafeon asked.
"Who cares? He still hasn't thanked me for saving his fiery butt" Swampert said. He was about to laugh, but Salamence's and Han's looks shut him up. "Sorry..."
"But how did you fall? Please tell us!" Leafeon nearly shouted.
I couldn't tell everyone that I was checking out Han, so I tried to stammer out an excuse as my cheeks started to burn AGAIN (Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me?)
"That's enough guys; Ty's been through a lot, I'm sure he'd rather not talk about it." Han said as he put his hand on my shoulder, causing me to blush even more. Thankfully, he took the blushing as a sign of embarrassment at the fall, not embarrassment at having his hand on my shoulder. I smiled and nodded.
"Why don't you all go outside and relax for a bit? It's my turn to take care of Ty anyways." Han suggested.
"Why not," Swampert said.
One by one, my teammates filed out the door, wishing me well as they left until only Han was left in the room with me.
Han had a weird look on his face. Suddenly he went and embraced me in a bear-hug; his hands were gripping me tight. My entire face went red and I felt like I was going to erupt in flames. But I went and hugged him back, accidently giving an audible growl of pleasure. The hug felt right, every part of my body wanted to stay like this forever. I then knew for sure that I loved him and now maybe he loved me back. I got a shot of courage for a second and nuzzled him a little with my snout. My heart started pounding and to my dismay, I felt myself getting hard. If I wasn't under the blankets, it would be really awkward for Han to look down and see my "piece". Luckily, I'm a pretty bulky Pokémon, so I managed to adjust my body to hide it.
Han finally broke the hug and looked into my eyes... To my surprise, his amazing brown eyes didn't show love or passion. Instead they showed worry and parental concern.
"Ty, you're my best friend, don't ever do something like that again, you had me very worried." Han whispered. He got up and walked out.
"I'm going to make dinner, so just yell if you need something!" He called after disappearing down the hall.
I sat in the bed feeling extremely depressed.
"So the hug was platonic after all, I guess." I thought to myself, as my member slowly retreated back to its sheath as if it was disappointed too.
"So I was right!" Standing in the doorway was Togekiss and Alakazam. Togekiss had a serious look on her face while Alakazam's expression was inscrutable as usual.
"Umm, right about what?" I said as innocently as possible.
"Oh shit, they couldn't have possibly found out about my secret could they?" I thought.
Togekiss just continued to stare at me for what seemed to be forever when she finally spoke.
"So tell me the truth Ty," Togekiss said quietly, "You're in love with Han aren't you?"
