A bunch of poems that ive writin over the years. Some are how i felt, some are based off a story that friends have writin. And yes they all have read it and I have there permission to write and post these. All are writin from Zepher's POV Zepher is my main OC. And some are just for venting. Alone, yet not alone?

Being alone, is what i've knowen,
Being in the dark, is where i've been.
My heart yearns for another,
My heart yearns for warmth.
But cold is what my heart feels,
Silent is what my heart is.
Twice i've fallen into the dark,
Twice i've lost my light.
Twice i've been pulled from the dark,
Twice i've felt the warmth of my heart grow.
And twice i've had my heart stabbed.
Twice i've had the warmth taken,
Twice i've lost my light.
Twice ive been caste into the dark,
Each dark deeper and more cold.
My light is gone, my heart is cold,
Its beats are silent, my blood is cold.
And now i sit, all alone,
In the dark, all a...lone?

This cold stone cell

This cold hard stone surrounds me, traps me
its silince is all ive know, all ive had
its darkness is inviting me, embracing me
its touch is cold, my heart is colder
My brother comes, he say's "Just Die!"
"No one needs you, no one wants you"
"I don't need you, I don't love you"
"Just take your shiv, and take your life"
two years come, two years go
thats all hes said, thats all ive heard
I lay here broken, I lay here cold
A shiv in my paw, and death in my head
As i lay here, In this cold stone cell.

the moon in my night,
you're the warmth in my spring,
you are the snow in my winter,
your soul is as pure as an autumn breeze.

While flying through the air, on a morning summer breeze.
The sight of snow on the mountains, the sight of flowers on the fileds
While enjoying the sights of summer, my world went dark.
There were no warnings, there were no hints
The sun was shining and the sky was clear, and then my world turned to dark
In the time it took my heart to beat, my world went from light to dark
And in the dark i stayed, for five more beats from my heart
And then my world went back to light, and all was as it was
Was that dark a fluke? A thing that just occurred?
Or was it something Darker? Something that will occurr?

This place is cold, This place is dark "What is this place, Where am I?" "What is this place you ask?", "This is where you'll die" "Who are you?", "Whos there?" Out of the drak, Comes a hord of dragons The Elders of the village, and the dragons of the village The village i was hated, The village that banished me They came for me, They came for blood I turned and ran, I ran for my life "Run faster, half-breed","We almost got you" They taunted me, they mocked me "Your a taint", "Your not pure" "You are a freak", "A thing that should not be" I ran, I cryed "Go away", "Leave me be" I staggered, I skidded to a halt I took a fighting stance, They closed in on me "You should of never been hatched", " You should never have come to be" "We will fix that", "We will remove this mistake" "We will show your corps", "For all the world to see" "Furdragons and dragons should not mate", "Lest they bring a taint to our pure, noble blood" And then they all charged, There going to kill me And right as they struck, I woke up...

The Price of Love

my love is a joke, used to amuse others.
my love is pain, caused by the ones i try to love
my love is a play thing, destroyed by thoses who dont want it anymore
my love is glass, easily broken and painfuly put back together
my love is the sea, used to dump unwanted things in
my love is the ground, people shit and piss on at will
my love is the poles, cold and barren
my love is space, dark and void
my love is a dead sun, all burned out and without any light
When i loved my heart burned bright and i gave my light and warmth. Like the sun i spread my light and warmth to those near by.
And then they left.
I gave my light which they used to see, i gave my warmth which they used to warm And then they left me, cold and alone.
Like the sun that burns too bright my light is faded my heat has droped and like the sun i just cave in, crushed by the weight, of the cold dark void.

This Broken Flawed Tool
It was just another day
Everyone was out, out going about their lives
All but one, One was not
I sat here waiting, waiting for my family
But my family never showed, they never showed up
I sat here all alone, all by my self
I had nothing, at least at first
But i had time, Time to think
Time to let my mind wander, wander into places in my mind
Dark places, of my past
A part of my past, that no one but me knows
The part where i was made, made as a shell
Just an empty shell, Thats all i was back then
Untill that day, the day my life changed
When they put half of "him" in me, Half of all "he" is.
I was ment to hold his power, And return it when it was needed
But i gained more then power, I gained a family
And my family doesnt even know, They dont know the truth about me
The truth of what i am, The truth of what im not
Iam just a fake, A tool to be used
A tool that is broken, broken and flawed
I am Zepher Blackbird, And i'm not real.
I was never ment to have a life, never ment to have a family
Never ment to have friends, never ment to...fall in love
This was never ment to happen, But it happened all the same
And now i must leave, leave the ones who are like family
Leave the ones who call me their friend, Who would stand by me to the end
Leave the one who calles me his brother, And looks up to me with love and awa
Leave the one who has my heart, The heart i was never ment to have
And so i leave, I leave this place
This place that has been my home, home for only just a week
Though its only been a week, What a week it has been
I'll never forget their laughs, I'll never forget their smiles
I'll never forget their voices, I'll never forget their faces
I hope they can forgive me, Forgive all that i have done
Forgive me for having a mind, forgive me for having thoughts
Forgive me for for the lies, forgive me for my heart

Geena and Boltwire are out flying, Ciff is on Bolts back laughing with them as they play.
Hypter and Phoenix are in the kitchen cooking, Meilida is serving the food.
Drew and Aldra are in a pub, Jaegar is with them drinking to good times and friends.
Elantra and Lyorenth are walking the streets of Warfang, Cronic is with them looking at hats.
Terran and Filiva are with Noctus, there spending time togeather like a family
Everyone is out having a good time, the day is bright and beautiful
Life couldnt be better for them, they have family and friends to be with.
All but one, one has his things packed and is leaving Warfang
But why is he leaving, he has friends and family in Warfang so why leave?
Who would leave this city full of life and joy, who would leave there friends and family?
His the oldest of the group, his name is Zepher Blackbird.
His friends have other friends, They care and love them.
His family has friends, And a new family that doesnt include him anymore.
Terran was his life, Noctus was his love.
Terran has Fliva, Noctus has the two of them.
Shes the big sister they never had, shes something he couldnt be
He loves his little brother, his happyness is important to him.
Terrans happy with his mate and his new sister, Zephers.....not needed
And so he leaves, both from sight and from mind.
Walking the world by him self, Alone and not needed
Few know him now, Even fewer care.
One day a stranger walks up to Terran and ask, "Can you tell me where Zepher Blackbird is?"
Terran just looks at him, his head tilted and he asks in return.
"Zepher Blackbird?", "Who is he?"

He is called Zepher, He is called Zeph
He is called son, He is called brother
He is a furdragon, Born with a flaw
But everyone has flaws, Its something everyone has
Our flaws help shape us, Into who we are
But he has a deep flaw, He cant fall in love
Its taken many years, But hes finnaly realized it
He can say the words, "I love you"
He knows there meaning, And the reason one says it
But he cant mean it, He cant fall in love
One thing Zepher hates is liers, Those who lie for there own gain
Nocuts is kind to him, Shes cared deeply about him
But he'll never lie to her, He wont lie
He cant tell her he loves her, He cant love at all
If she were to die, Would he cry?
He cant love, So he cant love her
Shes done so much, But he cant love
When he was injured and fell from the sky, Meilida helped him get back on his feet
She was happy to see him get well, But all he could do was say thanks
He cant say he loves her, He cant fall in love
Zepher was born without the ability to love, He will spend his days cold and alone
He still feels joy and sorrow just like anyone can, But he'll never have his heart warm at the love of another
When he dies, He'll be put in the ground
He'll be covered in dirt, And like always
He'll never love, And always be alone

The End, Of a Long and Bloody War

Hes a son, Hes a outcast
Hes a blacksmith, Hes a friend
Hes a husbend, Hes a brother
He......is dieing
His time is drawing near, His body is growing cold
He knows that tonight, Tonight his life will end
So he'll use what little he has, What little time is left
To remember what he has, Before his life will end
He looks and sees his parents, His mother and his father
They gave him life, The encouraged him to grow into the man he is today
His mother Zephira, His father Terradin
"Thank you both", "Thank you for giving me life"
He moves on, His life blood is flowing from his wounds
He looks and sees his friends, The most closest frinds he has
A Red Dragon with a noble heart, A White Furdragoness with a soul pure like snow
They helped him in his time of need, They helped him see the light and leave his shell behind
"Thank you Fire.","For helping me see the light and help me live again."
"Thank you Serena.", "For giving me hope in that dark and cold town."
Zepher coughed up blood, His time is running short
He moved on, He stumbled as he went
Next he saw a Purple Furdragon, His best friend Xander
"Thank you Xander.", "You saved me and my mate from a great evil."
Acrosse from him was a Littler Purple Dragon, But only a little bit smaller of course
Zepher smiled, His own blood staning his lips
"Hay little bro.", " Sorry for tesing you about your hight all this time."
"Youve growen so much from when we first met." "You'll make Crystal a fine mate Gallus."
"Love her with all your heart.", "And never forget she loves you."
Zepher coughed hard, He put a paw to his chest
Thats it, Thats all the time he had left
He went on, Half stumbling half walking in the dark cloud covered night.
Zepher want over to where he will die, The one he will die with
The one who filled his heart with warmth and love, The one who gave his life....meaning
Shes a gourgous Purple Dragoness, Her smile makes his heart swell
Her eyes shine like starlight, Her voice is a soft sweet tune that makes his heart beat with love
She is Adra, She is his mate
His love, His life
She.......is also dieing
Adras soul and Zephers are linked, If one dies so too does the other
They wouldnt have it anyother way.
Zepher stood in front of her, his face filled with love and happyness
She smiled back, As she layed on the cold hard stone of the last city standing
She knew the end was near, She didnt mind that there lives are about to end
She spread a wing open for him, Beckoning him to join her
Zepher walked over to her, She smiled that same smile that he has
As he laied next to her she draped her wing over him, He snuggled close to her
This is where they would die, This is there last night togeather
They looked to the East, The sun was rising
This is a wonderful day, The evil that plaged the world is gone
The world would heal with time, As will the people of the land
Dragons and Furdargons would work togeather, They would rebuild the world as friends
The War is over, Many thousands had died
But the tally of the dead wasnt finished, There were still two more yet to die
Zepher and Adra, The last two to die.....in the longest war the world had ever seen
The sun started to rise, It cast its warm brillient light on the land
It was time.
Adra closed her eyes first, Purring softly to her mate
"I love you"
Then her heart began to slow, Those would be the last words she spoke to him
Zepher turned his head, And laied it next to hers
He purred to her softly, And spoke his final words
"I love you"
Though he said what she had said, They both knew they loved each other
They didnt have to say it, But they did say it with all there hearts
The sun was half way up, The Dawn of a new era was about to begin
While the lives of two, Were about to end
Everyone was sturing, They were all injured during the last battle
They all stood up, As the sun shined on them
It was over, The War is over
They looked at each other, They knew it was over
Zephira went over to Terradin, Her mate
They huged and held each other close, They wouldnt have to see anymore die in the war
Fire got to his feet, The war he'ed been fighting in all his life....was finaly at an end
He went over to Serena, He had one last "duty" He wanted to preform
He held out a ring to her, And spoke five little words
"Will you be my mate?", Her eyes sweled with tears
Serena threw her arms around him, "Yes! Yes ill be your mate!"
Xander and Gallus, They saw the whole thing
They chuckled softly, It took him long enough to ask
Gallus saw Crystal, She arrived with the King and Queen of the city
As Gallus went to his mate, Xander saw Zepher and Adra and went over to see if they were ok
The King and Queen thanked them all
"Thank you all.","For what you have done"
"You saved our city.", "And our people."
Everyone stood and smiled with there friends and family, Theyed made it to the end
Gallus looked around and asked, "Wheres Big Brother?"
All there heads snapend and turned to the East, A loud roar of pain and loss
They ran over to see and hear Xander, He was roaring to the heavens as he sat next to Adra and Zepher
Everyone gathered, They didnt want to bleave what they knew had to be
Zepher and Adra were liying in a pool of blood, Zepher curled around his mate in there deaths embrace
Xander was screaming to the heaves, Leting them know that two pure souls were going to join them
Tears were streaming down his cheeks, as his cry was joined by many others
The War was over, But the cost had been high
They had lost so many friends, So many familys
And now they had lost two more
To a long and bloody war
Zepher and his mate Adra are dead
There friends and family had them buired togeather, Just as they were when they died
So that they will always be togeather, Even in death.

My life is shatered
My reason for being is gone
I thought I would never love
I thought I would never find happyness
Then I meet someone that cared
Cared enough to warm my heart and make me want to be with her
I offered her my heart
I offered her my love
I couldnt stand going a day without telling her i loved her
And now shes gone
What did i do?!
How did i screw this up?
I always told her the truth
I always told her how i felt about her
I thought of ways to be with her
I thought of a life with her in it
And now ive lost it all
Ive broken my own heart
Cause i did something wrong
I dont know what i did wrong but it doesnt matter
All that matters is ive screwed up again
Ive screwed up for the last time
I cant take it anymore
The pain of loseing someone like this
I cant stand this pain that i cause others in my desperat search for love
Im a fool
I should of knowen by now that im not ment to love anyone
If i cant hold onto the one i cared about
How can i love at all?
I was broken from the start
Ive never held a persons love for very long
I thought i just never met the right one
Then i did and now ive lost her
She said she never wants to speak to me again
And so
The last thing i can do
Is grant her wish
Ive lost my heart
And i dont want it back
Not with out her
Even though i know
That will never come to pass.
And so i'll reman broken
for now
