Train of Time
Moody night.
Every second that passes, marks another birth
With every moment past, signifies another death.
Seemingly a peaceful cycle, within this fairth
From within nature, sorrow comes.
With an unknown goal, cloudede future.
With left foot over right, right over left.
Without a sound, enduring the unending torture.
Within my heart, there's so little left.
Pain is my family, lonliness my kin.
Rain that falls, only reminds me of my sin.
Grains of truth in this mound of lies
Trains filled with hope, filledwith kith.
Waiting for the end, the final destination.
Praying for little, a peaceful slumber.
Obeying fate, what are we to such might
Trying not to derail, to fall to doom.
Forgot how to hope, to dream of better things.
I still hold a single one, in its lonesome.
For this cruel locomotive to halt, to stop.
To step off the cold steel, frozen time.
Memories of the past, haunting images.
To admire the sunshine, clear skies
To learn to dream again,
To see the light,
To see my life
As the previous one, also written during AT in my wonderously cold Alaskan tent.
