Reboot
You thought I was dead didn't you, but Infinity is here on the new site and this is the other half of chapter I that I couldn't release and honestly thanks to fanfiction.net I shelved it, but not anymore, this here is gonna be the most visceral mind numbing insanity inducing sci-and-not-so-fi novel you've ever read and oh yeah sex, lots of it, you might want some napkins, for the blood, tears, and spunk, because its gonna go where no life form has EVER gone before just you wait...
Chapter 1: First Contact

2320 hours GST
Epsilon 298 system
Albedo snapped awake when his ES suddenly exited hyperspace, this startled him in a most unusual way as he did not anticipate a forced gate out much less to see warnings all over his HUD… The holographic MFD's flickered red and with the word's “warning!! system failure imminent!!" plastered all over them followed by something he had never seen before… binary code scrolling down every single display along with ear splitting white noise and then as quick as it started the code stopped with a resounding pop, his copilot panicked then oddly expired along with seemingly the ES itself.
He tried several times to reboot the system all failing, then another ship gated out above him this one obvious in identity a long red ship shaped like a sword with rotating wings flew overhead as the Simeon drifted helplessly then suddenly the Simeon sputtered to life, and engaged it's logic drive, the craft lurched forward as the subluminal engines came to life, Albedo was yanked into his seat violently by the sudden acceleration, as the craft sped towards the Durandal, and then performed a snap roll that brought it in line with the Durandal's docking bay, the craft then lurched forward yet again now careening into the hangar, crashing through all manner of objects on its way in, before finally crashing into the hangar's far wall knocking Albedo unconscious.
As the he woke he found that the Simeon was offline, he looked up and punched the emergency release button for the cockpit, and it swung open grinding as it did so, the hangar was oddly quiet, no one had noticed his sudden arrival, as Albedo hopped onto the floor of the hangar he looked up at the Simeon, or what was left of it, the craft was trashed, the wings were gone, and so were the legs, and there were more holes in it than Swiss cheese, he pulled out his knife and then moved to the tram, hoping maybe he could find out where everyone was, it was quiet, too quiet... he entered the tram and heard annoying elevator music, and punched the holo-key saying bridge... as the tram door closed he made a note of the Elsa in the hangar, he would need it to escape if necessary, the door closed and the tram began to move, and within seconds he was at the bridge, as the door opened he noticed something even more strange, the guards were there, but dead, he saw no visible wounds, but they had clearly died in agony as they were contorted into horrific shapes in a crumpled heap on the floor, he walked up to the lift, but the door would not open, he pressed the button, expecting no response, but instead Rubedo responded "what the fuck is it now?!! OH SHIT, Albedo!?!... hold on I'm opening the door get your sorry ass up here NOW!" startled by Rubedo's sudden desire for his assistance Albedo was now very worried, what had happened here, and why was Rubedo so panicked.
The door opened and Albedo stepped into the elevator, the lift began its ascent before the doors had closed, which was odd, in seconds he was on the bridge and saw several wounded Realians, and most of the crew on the bridge, Albedo walked forward and said "so Rubedo, why are you so afraid?" sensing the apparent fear in his idiot brother... Rubedo shook his head and responded "well lets see, first Chaos disappears, then Citrine comes into my room, and TRIES TO FUCKING RAPE ME!!!, finally I..." he stammered a bit then continued "I shot her, and then she fuckin exploded, in this black energy wave, and then most of the damned crew died, screaming in pain as they died they all said one thing, Join us in hell, give us your souls, Damnation awaits all" Albedo now shocked by Rubedo's sudden breakdown then looked around, and asked "what happened to them?" pointing at the Realians bleeding out on the ground, Rubedo responded "they went nuts all of em, started spouting some strange gibberish, humans too, then started killing everyone else, we stopped them, but then we gated out, and now we are dead in space" Albedo arched his eyebrows and looked around again, Rubedo was not lying, and most of the crew seemed on the verge of losing it.
Then a 100 series spoke out "Little Master we have control over all systems, comms are online but only on board the ship all externals are offline... Little Master !??! unknown contact detected its not using the UMN, something is gating out using another method!" Albedo said "now just what the flying fuck is going on here??!" Suddenly as if to answer a blinding red flash filled the bridge followed by an intense feeling of fear and despair, the now unusually horrified URTV's looked out to see a ship smaller than the Durandal moving towards it slowly, the ship was definitely not human or gnosis in origin… it's jagged black and red exterior had what looked like claws and spines jutting out in menacing positions and was as terrifying to look at as the terror inducing psionic signal it was producing. Rubedo yelled "ALL HANDS TO BATTLE STATIONS! PREPARE TO ENGAGE, WHATEVER THAT FUCKER IS ITS GONNA DIE!"
The Durandal accelerated to combat speed powering up it's weapons and as it did so brilliant blue light arced across her hull, Rubedo shouted "FIRE EVERYTHING!" blue lances of light formed across the ship's hull and then discharged towards the odd alien ship impacting a red barrier and doing no damage whatsoever, whatever this ship was it should have been cut to ribbons by the hundreds of heavy ion beams that impacted it but instead did nothing to the tiny ship… Albedo, now genuinely terrified not only for himself but for his idiot brother as well could only stare in sheer horror at what happened next. The tiny ship now much closer had no humanly identifiable features and appeared to be approximately 1.5 kilometers long and 0.5 kilometers wide stopped instantly, then bright red lights formed at the tips of it's “claws" and then before they even discharged, cut holes through the Durandal piercing it's shields and hull clean through as a second later bright red beams followed through the hull, burning into the stars behind it… they did not cease however and began to literally carve the Durandal to pieces as explosions further tore the ship apart thump silently in the void.
Rubedo now shaking with fear, shouted "WHAT THE FUCK!!!" as the alien ship cut apart the front of the Durandal, encountering no resistance, KOS-MOS then interrupted "Shion my analysis indicates that we have a zero percent chance of repelling the alien ship, i recommend we evacuate immediately" Rubedo watched as the alien ship continued its methodical destruction of the Durandal, then said "fuck it lets get out of here, everyone get to the Elsa" then more warnings flared saying the ship had been boarded by a tiny craft, and that aliens were teleporting all over the ship "god fucking damn-it we gotta move" Rubedo said as they all piled into the elevator. The elevator began to move quickly then slowed down, then stopped half way as a massive explosion rocked the ship, then the elevators mag locks failed, and they plummeted to the bottom of the shaft, luckily it stopped right before the sudden life ending stop at the end, the doors were still open, and so they all crawled out, however as Allen was climbing out last the elevator doors closed on him, pinning him to the doors, then the lights dimmed to a dark and evil red color, and Albedo heard a multitude of dark voices laughing, the elevator then caught on fire igniting Allen with it, then moved up slowly, the group watched in horror as Allen screamed in pain as the elevator slowly cut him in half while burning him alive, then finally a loud crack, and the elevator shot up, making a sickening wet crunch as Allen's lower torso fell to the ground still twitching... Shion now beyond terrified began screaming hysterically, Albedo grabbed her and drug her to the tram all while hearing more explosions and what sounded like distant rifle fire, he wondered who was left alive to be shoot, and more specifically at what?
The tram hatch closed automatically as the lights turned red again then shot down the shaft at extreme speed, the lights then went out, as the tram slowly ground to a halt, Albedo was instantly regretting not bringing a heavy machine gun, as Rubedo drew his pistols, ready to shoot at whatever was now prying the hatch open, then with three knocks and a 3 second pause the hatch flew clean off and backwards over the head of a man with a large rifle, and some sort of bulky combat armor, it was green, and had a blue visor, and was completely sealed, he gesture for them to follow him. Albedo asked "who the fuck are you?" the man responded "call me your shadow..." as he raised his rifle, "the demons are coming get ready" the man said through a voice filter, his armor glowed, and suddenly a horde of alien monsters appeared in a bright red flash, they were horrifying jet black and charred, with chitinous plates across their bodies and long arms with huge claws, and their head was basically a giant mouth opened wide, wide enough to swallow a persons head, if it had a throat, its maw was filled with razor sharp curved teeth hundreds of them all curving backwards, they let out a shrill ear shattering scream, then charged at the group, and the group opened fire, with no discernible effect, the man pointed at a cone shaped plate on their left hand side, and Rubedo immediately adjusted his aim, hitting dead center, black goo splattered the deck, and sizzled and smoked, as the monster twitched then died, one leapt at Albedo and with a quick stab to the cone from his knife... died.
As the group pushed through the hangar they noticed the Simeon and next to it a odd fighter like craft, with wings swept down and forwards, with four large cannons on the wings, the cockpit was in the center on top of a arrow shaped hull dark Grey in appearance, the tail had two massive engines and wings going diagonally upwards and outwards, then slanting back inwards on them were four large missiles per wing... meanwhile the enemy was becoming more numerous... suddenly a loud roar as ceiling broke and two huge monsters dropped down, then fired red energy at KOS-MOS who despite her sheer agility was unable to dodge, the red bursts ripped her clean in half, taking several crew members with them, Albedo ran and picked up KOS-MOS' Gatling guns despite their weight his sheer adrenaline took over, he unloaded into the monsters but they ignored him, they grabbed MOMO then ripped her in half as Shion ran back to try to help, in vain, as they ate what was left of MOMO with a sickening wet crunches, and let out a loud roar as Albedo charged them, the one on the left back handed Albedo knocking the guns out of his hands, and him into the wall while the armored soldier continued laying down fire, then the Elsa broke free of its mooring as multiple explosions rocked the ship, the lights flickered and the ceiling collapsed crushing Rubedo and the rest of the group save Shion, who was desperately fighting off the two giants with the armored soldier, Albedo yelled as a smaller monster got behind Shion, then it opened its gaping maw then bit into her head, the soldier ran towards Albedo as he helplessly watched the blood brain and viscera splattering as the demon crunched through Shion's head, Albedo vomited as he heard what sounded like wet leather crucnhing with potato crisps, he watched as her whole body convulsed, Albedo jumped up and charged them only to be hit several times by the red energy, except this time he didn't regenerate, the soldier then said "I'm sorry I tried, but you'll be fine" as he jumped into his fighter then left, leaving Albedo in a crumpled heap bleeding to death on the floor, everyone was dead, blood was everywhere, for the first time in 14 years Albedo was terrified...
A massive explosion rocked the ship, as the decks separated, beams cutting through, he saw outside, as the atmosphere left the ship, time slowed down, and Albedo was powerless to do anything but watch his horrific demise unfold. As the beams nimbly carved through the ship the Durandal still acting on auto mode tried to retaliate before a quick series of extremely bright flashes tore through the main fuselage and severed the ship in half the “sword" shattering at the hilt as the beams ceased they're onslaught, escape pods and debris began spraying out of sparse sections of the ships remains as atmosphere vented violently into the void as well as bodies, obviously there were some survivors however as if that wasn't enough the alien ship began firing pulses at the escaping shuttles and pods annihilating them with ease… Albedo watched helplessly as the Durandal broke apart into thousands of chunks… and then he felt Rubedo die, he felt as if he had his heart ripped out and in a way, he did, but as he sat there he realized there was nothing he could do and even if there was he was literally paralyzed with fear. He watched as the ship disappeared around him into the void with a bright red flash, and then began to feel dizzy and weak…
He then was engulfed by a bright light and for a moment saw a what looked like a woman with blueish purple skin and two sets of arms stared at him, he immediately said “what the hell just killed my brother??!!" the woman smiled before an obviously human albeit much younger woman joined her, this one with long bleach blonde pigtails and light almost pale skin and a blank expression on her face… the blue skinned alien said something to the other and then walked towards him while the human disappeared. The alien spoke in a voice that was both calm and seductive but obviously not human “You have been chosen human… and will be saved, yet I am not sure if you are worthy… but I hope you will prove yourself in time." Albedo replied in a smart ass tone “well now… did you just decide you wanted to be a girl all of a sudden, and then become real? Because I have no idea why you are here or what you want, and I am certain you don't want to play now do you?" she smiled and said “You certainly are going to be interesting, I'll give you that… but in the future, assuming you survive that is, you WILL show me more respect, however, in the meantime you will be given a second chance of sorts and I will be watching, do not make a fool of me human..." Before Albedo could respond she disappeared and he was blinded by a white light that burned like plasma… and he saw something… a dream, but not a normal one as this one was of a great war, before he could analyze what he had dreamed he woke up… in a dive pod.
Now he knew three things 1: He had seen a female version of the ancient Hindu god Shiva.
2: He was in the Yuriev Institute and was much younger,
and most importantly 3: He had the worst hangover ever…
Today was going to be interesting to say the least…
Meanwhile elsewhere someone else was starting their day in a similar manner.

A/N As you can see I am just starting out and if necessary please correct any mistakes in reviews I had planned on starting this earlier in the month but I forgot about it until now… also there will be much more ahead for my… I mean Albedo but first another character will take the stage… and he's so screwed. Please review and tell me what you like and don't like but keep in mind this story is not meant to be an 80's action flick (at least not in the beginning) so it is intended to start out slow yet set the stakes. If you have any ideas on what to do PM me and I might consider it if it fits well enough… I love criticism so go ahead tell me you're thoughts but be somewhat polite, and if you have insults or otherwise non-constructive negative feedback… you know what to do with it I hope you like whats to come as I haven't even begun yet
