This text provides an encyclopedic overview over the world of creatures known as Candyfurs that I'm creating. If you haven't read the stories yet, I recommend doing so first as this might give some spoilers. This text will be updated with new elements as I write more stories.

Overview

Candyfurs are anthropomorphic furry creatures, whose bodies are composed purely from various kinds of candy. However their bodies are not edible, except for certain fluids they secrete (fur "grease", saliva, "semen").

Here's a list of common terms and features:

Body/primary/base flavor : The basic flavor of the whole body, which also determines color and texture. A small amount of body flavor is secreted into the fur, but much stronger presence is inside of the muzzle - the saliva

Semen/cum/secondary flavor : Flavor of the ejaculate, usually different from body flavor. Highly concentrated. In case of solid candies, the ejaculate version is in liquid or semi-liquid form. The semen is composite of two fluids - the base, which is secreted by prostate, which is mixed with strong flavoring produced by candicles

Prostate : Large gland that produces the base for the cum flavor, which constitutes 80-90 % of the volume of ejaculate, but lacks strong flavoring. It's mostly hollow organ, which is filled with the secreted liquid and can hold relatively large amounts when full.

Candicles (also candies, balls, nuts, jewels): Flavor producing "testicles" (portmanteau of "candy" and "testicles") - oval organs inside of the scrotum. Also mostly hollow, they fill with the secreted liquid, which is highly concentrated flavoring agent for the semen. The rate of secretion is very high, they fill fully within a day on average, but the rate can increase rapidly based on sexual activity

Pre-cum : Small amounts of the prostate fluid that leak during sexual excitement

Homoflavored : Term describing the semen flavor, meaning that both candicles produce the same flavor (from homo - "the same"). This is most common

Heteroflavored (also heteronutted, or heterocandies when referring to candicles): A very rare condition, where each candicle produces different flavor (form heteros - "different"). This leads to very unique flavors, which vary wildly for the whole duration of ejaculation, since the rate at which the two flavors mix fluctuates, with different ratios producing a different unique flavor.

Tasting someone : Slang used to indicate that the person had a sexual interaction with someone, during which they tasted their semen flavor

Flavor maturation : During puberty the production of semen candy starts, but usually takes some time before the flavor reaches its full concentration, starting completely flavorless. Usually this takes just a few months, but some individuals it can take a few years.

Flavor signature : Each candyfur has his own unique flavor signature determined by his unique combination of genes. All of the fluids he secretes carry this molecular signature, which blocks the interaction between the flavor and taste buds. A special enzyme inside of the muzzle removes this signature from the taste carrying molecules, allowing to taste other flavors, except for own signature, which prevents tasting own flavors. (so they can't constantly be tasting own body flavor in the muzzle). It is possible to taste own flavors when kissing, because partner's enzymes remove the blocking signature form own flavor, allowing it to bind with own taste receptors.

Activities

Due to high rate production of the semen candy, sexual activities are very common among candyfurs and they search for partners they can interact with. When candicles are full (or near full), they experience strong sexual arousal (being "horny") and seek release.

Because tasting someone's semen candy is integral part of the activities (and very sexually exciting for the involved), certain activities are more prevalent than others. However each activity has its own unique perks.

Kissing : Very popular activity. Can be expression of passion, affection or even love. It's very enjoyable because it's allows to taste partner's body flavor strongly, mixed with own body flavor

Masturbation (solo): Provides very small release (only about 5-10 % of the volume is released). It provides substantial release of sexual arousal only during the onset of puberty, when the production rate is still low, but when it increases to average it no longer suffices and thus is only a side activity

Masturbation (mutual, or self in presence of partner): Simple presence of a partner amplifies the sensations significantly due to combination of sexual visual, touch and olfactory (smell - each partner has unique pheromone signature) and thus provides strong release even with self-masturbation (about 50 % of the volume), although mutual masturbation is much more common

Oral : Another very common activity which provides substantial release, directly into the mouth. Oral stimulation also has the benefit of tasting partner's penis, which has strong base body flavor due to large secretion on its surface during sexual excitement.

Species

A species is a combination of base anthro animal/creature and body/semen flavor. Any anthro creature could technically work, furry or not. Here is a list of prominent groups of flavors so far described in stories (with many more to come!)

Gelatine : they have very unique bodies, which are translucent (like gelatine) and thus see-through (except for eyes). They can have fur, which has the feel of normal fur, but is also translucent.The body color and flavor is usually clear, pure gelatine, although flavored variants exist. Their semen flavor is gelatin with strong flavoring produced by candicles, which can be actually see inside of the translucent scrotum, looking like orbs of vividly colored gelatine and have very elastic feel. Squeezing and deforming them lightly is very pleasant to the candyfur, but as with anyone else, hard impacts or squeezed would be very painful

• Chocolate : various variants of chocolate candyfurs can exist, both as body flavor and semen flavor, like dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate. In case of semen candy, the chocolate is in liquid form, albeit somewhat dense and viscous.
