Current Events
It was a dream. All I did, was write down where I was and what I saw.
The socio-cultural imapact, of something unstoppable falling onto the world. It's not a disgusting blob, or some disfigured, ugly monstrostiy. But instead something, someone would actually want to worship. Except, this awesome looking creature, doesn't feel that a mutual relationship with humanity is required.
Current EventsBy Darkmaster03 Aouki's landing caused massive devastation over a large
area, every living being was ripped apart in a very large vicinity. Unable to
get a direct physical view of him. I had to rely on news reports, footage and
third party information. At first they treated this extraterrestrial impact
very cautiously, it took time to mobilize forces, scientists were working on
identifying, the type of creature this even was, apparently never having seen a
rabbit, or maybe rabbits never evolved on their planet. When the first few bits of footage were brought back,
showing Rabbit casually climbing out of the deep crater, his powerful impact
caused. Loved the way the camera panned to his toes, seeing them splayed apart
as he pressed the ground inward, while climbing out. They zoomed out to get
Aouki's full body into view, he gripped the gravel with his blue furred hands,
placed the opposite leg upward, and hoisted his body up with tremendous
momentum, he continued like this for a while, like a professional rock climber. Sitting at the bar, overhearing the guy's around me take
bet's that, the giant was going to lose his footing and go plummeting back down
into the crater. Part of me would have loved to see it happen, wanting to see
him use his powerful feet in action for a second time. Slapping two-hundred
down on the table, "He's pro, no chance of him falling." Others were watching
intently, as Rabbit eventually gripped the upper rim, hoisting this knee over
and onto the flat ground, I smiled, not because I had won eight-hundred, but
because the camera guy had zoomed in, the lens aimed perfectly on that icy blue
fur under his long lapine feet. Sadly it didn't last long, Rabbit straightened
his leg out onto his knee, as he pulled his other leg up, placing a long paw
with a heavy THUMP, onto the desolate ground. Standing up, Aouki raised his
arms high over his head, in a grand stretch, his lean physique a grand light
blue spectacle for my eyes. The camera panned all the way out, everything for miles
around was just gone, there were pieces here and there, a couple leaning
skeleton buildings, but all around, everything was blown apart. This blue
titan, making his way, casually walking to the right of the panning camera. The
entire pub or bar I was in, suddenly went dead silent for some reason, EVERYONE
was looking at the flat-screen monitors, seeing the grim aftermath of what this
creature had done, before the screen went black, the camera cutting out.
Supposedly, to warnings of getting shot down by troops, if they didn't leave
the area at once. Feelings of tension and fear were heavy in the air, people
were talking, asking questions to one another, "what if the army can't stop
it?" "This creature single-handedly destroyed an entire city." "Those people
didn't even have a warning!" "Are they actually going to try to communicate
with it?" "That creature, killed more than a hundred-thousand people!" Making my way outside, I had to get out of there before shit
got real, gazing up at the black sky, street lights just turning on around me.
Closing my eyes, taking a couple of deep breaths, before heading home for the
night. The next night, I saw the most bizarre scene, ever
witnessed. It was from a hillside in between the blue furred Rabbit and four
rows of army tanks. Aouki was walking straight into them, not knowing what the
hell they were thinking? Then the camera moved right a bit, I noticed the
outskirts of a city skyline. The camera guy seemed to be prone, by himself,
some amateur, holding the camera still with his elbow. Hearing a low dominant
firm voice from a loudspeaker, giving orders to the giant, still casually
walking forward, the distance between them getting shorter and shorter. Every paw pressing down on the earth, each step leaving heavy
imprints, even from that far away, I knew those massive, long paws were going
to crush those tanks two at a time. Shrill voice emanating from the tank in
front, the tone having lost all the dominate qualities, Rabbit not even caring
to listen, just kept coming. The camera, held in a firm grip, elbows on the ground to act
as a tripod, started shaking sporadically. All of the tanks blasted into the
oncoming behemoth at once, Aouki didn't even miss-step, every step was still as
solid and firm as the last, only evidence of the tanks even having had fired
upon the creature, was the billowed smoke left behind. Those guy's seemed
delirious, they didn't even back away or try to run, as the blue Rabbit was
upon them, lifting his foot in the same casual walk. Those broad toes swung
forward, I saw the main gun of the first tank, get stuck between those furry
appendages and pushed up, lifting the entire vehicle vertically onto its back
part. One fluid motion, screams arose from the loudspeaker. CRUNCH! The paw just came downward, no strain seemed to be exerted,
the metal just flattened instantly, in a smooth motion, nothing was left but an
oblong flat plate, pressed to the contours of Rabbit's insanely heavy tread.
With the colonel no longer giving orders, troop morale was lost, most of them
bailed out of their tanks, Rabbit lowered down and grabbed one, squeezed it
tight, with a casual flick of the wrist, I saw crushed tank debris flying
towards me. Immediately dashing forward, towards the oncoming projectile, it
flew over my head and took out part of the hill I had been prone on. Looking at
the giant rabbit, putting my hand up, giving two side-to-side waves. Suddenly a
large plum of sand erupts in front of me, one of the tanks, was aiming its
turret straight at me. Why? Instinctively covering my head with my arms,
looking straight at the long barrel aimed at me from down the hill. BOOM!Aouki leaped with both massive paws onto the tank,
flattening it to mush in an instant. The earthquake rocked me, the ground
shifting up and making me fall backwards, putting my hand out in a vain attempt
to stop the oncoming projectile, which the tank managed to fire off, before
Aouki landed onto it. I was no-more, the footage was lost. Rabbit turned his
head away and continued toward the city.
