Draconic Disdain
A commission for Sparkshark on FA
Anna examined the discarded clothes. Brown trousers, a snakeskin belt, black boxers, well-worn shoes, and scraps of a ripped apart jacket and collared shirt were all in a small pile. She raised her hand, ready to incinerate vestments that would be no longer needed by their altered owner when something in the pocket of the discarded pants suddenly vibrated and chirped. The witch drew back and watched the pants shiver when the chirping sound transitioned into a snake's hiss.
"Curious," Anna whispered, leaning forward to reach into the pocket. Her fingers touched the something that shuddered again, this time emitting a bird's squawk. She gripped the object and hastily withdrew it. She gazed down at a sleek, trembling device and recognized what it was: a mobile phone, one lighter and more advanced than the last time she had seen one several years ago during her previous retributive incursion. The phone chirped and vibrated again, reminding her that the former owner of the phone was receiving a call. Anna smiled and accepted the call.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hey!" a voice snarled, its volume a little too low until Anna remembered to hold the phone up to her ear. "Where the hell have you been, Dean? It's past hours and I needed that inventory today!"
"Dean is not available," Anna chuckled.
"Then who the hell are you?" the voice snapped, then sighed. "You're one of his whores, aint'cha? Is he sleepin'? Well, is he? Hey, wake him up, lady, and get him on the phone!"
Anna considered what to say next. She did not like the man's tone or attitude and if he had any connection with Dean's business then she despised him overall. She couldn't be sure though, she would need to see him in person and look him in the eyes. Over her life, she'd come to realize that the ancient saying about souls was not too far off. When she spoke next, her voice carried a suggestive, slightly reverberating tone, a trick she had learned from the Sirens.
"Dean will see you here," Anna replied.
"Here? Where!?"
"The pet shop, here with me."
"The pet...goddamnit, he's still there? Tanner's place?" the man on the other end growled. "Why the hell am I asking you? Who the hell are you, goddamnit?"
"Come and see."
"That's not an answer, that's not an..." the line was silent for a moment. "Goddamnit, I'm coming over."
The phone beeped and then the call was finished. Anna smirked and tossed the phone onto the counter, it might have more use in the future. The clothes, however...
Anna waved her hand and the vestments ignited with hot blue flame, dissolving into ash in a matter of moments. The witch contemplated, when was the last time she had used that on a human? She shrugged, waving her hand again, scattering the ash away and out of the suddenly open door which just as suddenly shut. Afterwards, Anna stepped behind the counter and waited.
The witch did not have to wait long before a squat, stocky man burst into the store, causing all the jingling of bells to cry out as the door slammed behind him. His hook-nosed visage appeared to be marred with a constant scowl that was only complemented by his thick, horn rimmed glasses. He glanced around the shop with a snarl until his gaze fell on Anna. Upon spotting her, his expression did not lighten; rather, it contorted into an even deeper grimace as if merely the sight of her disgusted him. Despite her own reservations on the matter, the witch smiled when he approached her, one finger raised, wagging as a warning.
"You!" he screeched. "You're the one from the phone call." the man halted his speech to examine her further. "You never answered my question. Just who the hell are you? Some foreign associate?"
"Yes," Anna said, her smile remaining as she spoke. "You could say that."
"I did say that." the man shook his head and glanced about the place once more. "Where are Tanner and his crummy children? Where is Dean?" He looked over Anna's shoulder to the back room and called loudly. "DEAN! Come out, you pig!"
"Dean is back there," Anna said, her voice echoing with the same subtle siren tone as before. "I can take you to him."
"Yes, yes, you do that." the man nodded ."Whoever the hell you are."
"Anna."
"Anna, hmph?" the man grunted, cocking his head. "I figured it would be something more..." he shrugged and waved his hand. "Forget it, you've already wasted enough time."
"And whose time would that be?"
"My time! Graham," the man spat. "You should know that, if you deal with us, lady." Graham paused. "Anna, goddamnit. Now come on, what are you waiting for?"
Anna nodded and motioned for the man to follow her. Graham followed her around the counter, trailing close behind. When she opened the door for him, he gave her a quizzical look.
"Isn't it usually the other way around," he said and shrugged. "But whatever, that's supposed to be dead anyhow."
Graham walked past Anna into the backroom and came to a sudden stop after only making it a few steps inside. Anna quietly closed the door behind him while he gawked at what he saw.
"What the hell is this?" he asked, adjusting his glasses with one hand while pointing at a water-filled container at the far end of the room. He squinted. "Is that a fucking shark?"
Anna chuckled, the man did not seem to notice. Instead, his focus had shifted from the tank to a serpent that was held up above a table by gnarled shackles of wood near the shop's back door. A red and black-scaled snake struggled weakly against her bonds and birthing a large, white egg crowned at its vent. Despite the snake's desperate pushes, she seemed to be making no further progress in forcing the ovoid out thanks to a lack of gravity's assistance and her confinements. Graham stared wordlessly at the snake for a bit before getting a closer look while Anna watched from behind.
"Goddamn," Graham swore, glancing over the snake and its unusual imprisonment. He looked to Anna. "This is...this is goddamn diabolical."
Anna nodded.
"Yeah," Graham continued, his scowl twisting into a smirk. "I love it." he scratched his chin. "I never knew the boys were so ingeniously twisted! Yeah, they choked some bird and cats, but this...this is their work?" he asked.
"No," Anna said. "Watts'."
"Watts'?" Graham blinked. "The snakeman? No, no, he is not that wasteful."
"Wasteful?" Anna shook her head. "Oh, but Watts is not being wasteful. Look at her." she nodded towards the struggling snake. "She is being ever so productive."
"Huh?"
"She killed and now she gives back and none of her eggs are infertile." Anna smiled. "I made sure of that."
"I don't get what you're saying, lady."
"Watch!" Anna cooed, pointing to the egg. "This one is hatching!"
The egg suddenly shuddered and cracked, the sound echoing throughout the otherwise silent room. Both watched as the ovoid came apart still within the serpent's vent, the broken shell shards causing her obvious discomfort as an infant snake poked its small head out of where it had broken through. Anna laughed, reached up and snatched the newborn serpent from its shell, holding it up.
"See?" Anna said. "One life given where it might have otherwise been taken." She stroked the small snake. "She takes after her mother in hue but not in hubris." she beamed at the entangled snake up on the wall. "Very good, Watts. Very good. You have managed well thus far, I am certain you can get those shards out without my assistance."
The snake hissed and flicked her tongue out, but lowered her head nonetheless. Resigned to her fate, she pushed, her body convulsing as it attempted to expel the egg remnants.
"Watts?" Graham said. "You named the snake after him?"
"No," Anna giggled, placing the infant snake in a small container of its own. "That is Watts."
Graham blinked. "Watts."
"Yes, she is a good girl, so very productive!"
"Hmph," Graham grunted, the scowl returning. "You're very strange, lady. Where the hell is Dean? You said he was back here. This all is--" He waved his arm. "Entertaining, but I have business to attend to." He looked around the backroom. "And where is the inventory, goddamnit? Tanner promised me some elicits today."
"Oh? The animals, you mean?"
"Yeah, the fucking animals. One tortured snake ain't gonna cut it. Neither is a shark, a goddamn shark! How am I supposed to sell that? I don't deal in aquatics! What the hell is that doing here, anyways?"
"That," Anna smirked. "Is Dean."
Graham sighed and turned towards the witch. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Dean? Dean ain't no shark and Watts isn't a snake neither! Maybe, uh, maybe you're talking wrong? Is your English bad? Did Dean buy a shark?"
Anna shook her head, and walked away. "Come."
"No!" Graham said, following nonetheless. "What are you going to show me next, lady or Anna or whatever the hell you go by? Some stupid animal that has no value to me? You've wasted enough time as is, goddamnit!"
Anna stopped and shook her head. "They all have value. Look." She pointed towards a sleeping cat that had several small fuzzy kittens snoozing by her exposed belly. "Gene, once a murderer before, now a mother and this is only her first litter!"
Anna pointed to a cage where a crow cawed loudly, it was on top of a tall pile of glistening white eggs, the black bird poking its head out of the bars.
"And see? Clem, practicing for what will soon be her true purpose. She has done so well so far, I am sure she would not mind trying eggs a larger size."
Anna smiled and snapped her fingers. The crow shrieked, wings flapping as it stumbled back and its body began to swell with eggs. The witch chuckled and turned towards Graham.
"Did you--did you just..." He shook his head. "No, no. You're still making no sense. You're showing me a bunch of animals with human names!"
"Humans with animal shapes," Anna corrected. "Cruel, wicked men that deserved neither their humanity or masculinity. So..." She smiled wickedly. "I repurposed them."
"Bahahaha!" Graham chortled. "So you're saying you're a goddamned witch? You're a fucking loony! Really, where is everyone? Out for dinner while they left a madwoman in charge?" He scowled and shook his head, all pretense of humor gone. "You waste my time with these stupid fairy tales. Wicked men? We're businessmen, lady, and we do our job well." He grit his teeth. "At least usually. Today has been a loss."
"No, no, have you not been paying attention? There has been so much gain. They contribute so much more now."
"Myths!" Graham threw up his arms. "Delusions! Fantasies! Animals are not people!"
"Ah, but people are animals. These men forgot that." Anna regarded the man, staring into his eyes, into his soul. She scowled. "And your iniquities are no better than theirs."
"Iniquities? What is this, the inquisition?" Graham huffed and raised a hand threateningly. "I've had enough of this tomfoolery, if you won't make sense I'll slap some into you!"
"Myths," Anna muttered. "A fairy tale?" She nodded slowly. "Yes, yes, that will do."
Graham snarled and swept his hands toward the witch while she brought a finger up and pointed it at him. Before he could make contact, a crackling spark lanced out, striking the man squarely in the forehead and causing him to stumble back and cry in pain whilst clutching the affected area. The pain of the shock made him shiver and shudder, his eyes remaining closed as mystic energy coursed through his body. When he forced them open, he let out a cry because he could not see. Deprived of his vision, he stumbled further away from where he thought Anna might be, one arm out and grasping as if that might ward her off. Anna remained where she was, simply smiling and watching.
"Bitch!" Graham cried hoarsely. "Was that...ugh....a goddamned t-taser?"
Anna didn't answer. Graham blinked the tears out of his eyes until slowly his eyesight began to return. However, beyond the lenses of his glasses, his vision seemed to blur with hazy vagueness. Angered, he shook his head roughly, causing his glasses to crash to the floor. Graham gasped and fell to his knees even as his vision suddenly sharpened. He reached for his glasses but stopped, blinking once more as his irises expanded, taking on a yellowish hue while his pupils contracted into black, reptilian slits. He blinked again, noticing finer details upon the floor he hadn't seen before. Small particles of dust floated in front of his eyes and even the tiniest etching in the floor was readily visible. This newfound clarity brought with it a terrible headache, the minute details proving temporarily too much for his simple mind. Shuddering, he fell onto hands and knees, eyes alternating between opened and closed as his body sought to reconcile this finer vision.
Only greater pain was able to force Graham's vision to focus as something abruptly erupted from the back of his right hand. He gasped, his reptilian eyes widening when he caught sight of the small orange scales tearing his skin apart before subsuming all hair and skin upon his hand. He cried out and raised his hand, groaning with the sprouting of each scale, their growth drawing blood and further pain. Blood oozed from the openings as the scales started to spread rapidly until they reached his knuckles, at which point the pain only intensified. His pained hand grasped for his glasses and caught hold just as hardened points pressed out from the tips of his fingers, extending and curling out into curved claws that clacked against the ground. When his newly formed claws reached completion, his hand clenched with pain, shattering the lenses and embedding shards of the glasses into his palm. He lifted his hand and dropped the broken glasses, the shards already falling out thanks to the painful growth of scales in their place.
"W-what?" Graham whimpered once he saw what his hand had becoming, what it was twisting into. He looked up at Anna. "N-no, what are you--?"
"You already know, silly man," Anna said, motioning to the other tortured animals in the room. "I have shown you."
With a grunt, Graham forced himself to his feet, his clawed hand twitching with every new scale grown upon it. He took a step towards Anna and cried out when his heels snapped and cracked, forcing him to fall to the ground. He landed flat on his face with a pained moaned, his nose broken in the process.
Despite the overwhelming pain, he stared at Anna; his improved vision allowed him to see that indeed there were blemishes upon what had appeared to be a perfectly pale face. This offered him very little solace thanks to his throbbing nose and altering feet. He touched his nose with an unchanged hand, he felt it collapse and fold so that he simply did not have a nose anymore but merely two nostril slits that did not hurt as much as before.
Suddenly, Graham's fingers dug painfully into the flesh of his face as they grew into claws. He pulled his hand away, but not before he had scratched a set of shallow wounds upon the skin. They pained him for only a moment before a deeper hurt took its place as scales sprouted from deep within the scratches. Shortly afterwards, his wrists and digits throbbed, reshaping with a snap of bone so that he no longer possessed opposable thumbs. He shivered as the scales crawled up to his elbows, prompting painful reshaping there. Tissues and tendons stretched to support their altering configuration and pushing his arms up nearly straight.
Muttering incoherently, Graham lowered his head and gritted his teeth while scales made his scalp bare and bound only by an increasingly orange hide. His ears were lost under a tide of painful subjugations and so was his hearing. For a few moments he was deaf to his own groans and pants of his pain, but all too aware of the terrible tactile sensations of scales spreading over his changing form. Then he could hear again but not quite in the same way. Sounds close by were mostly the same while those farther away, such as Anna's intake of breath, were more distinct. He barely had a second to appreciate his adjusted hearing before it was filled with the shrill sound of a shriek; his shrieks as his cranium collapsed, eyes pushed apart and skull flattened and broadened, His shrieks continued as his tongue twisted and split in two, teeth sharpened and multiplied until finally his head shoved spitefully forward into a reptilian snout. The tip of his muzzle rebounded off the ground with vibrations so excruciating that he fell onto his side, his snout falling open in the process. His gasps, once so human, sounded more akin to the cross between a crocodile croak and a serpentine hiss.
With a raspy whimper Graham rolled onto his back, strangely leg-like arms resting at his side while his neck lengthened and thickened with scaled flesh. All too soon the pain renewed; a tight, binding force acted upon his torso. He shrieked again, trying to swear or speak but his altered mouth was simply unable to replicate human speech any longer. Scales spreaded up his legs and upon his torso that cut and bled. His soft skin and flesh easily falling prey to the tougher yellow spots while his torso broadened and barreled out so that his collared shirt simply shredded, exposing a gleaming, yellow belly. His hips popped and cracked as claws pressed out of his toes, one lost in the process so that five became four. His shoes subsequently burst apart, his exposed altered reptilian claws stretching and occasionally clicking together.
Graham would have stayed in his back had not three painful protrusions, one at the base of his spine and two set between his shoulders, forced him to back on his hands and knees. This time, he did actually stand on his hands and knees but upon his talons much like a feral, four-legged animal, his lengthened neck granting him a different vantage point than the last time he had taken the stance. At first he struggled to truly stand until his four feet lengthened with raw, stretching growth that was not quite painful enough to cause a collapse. Instead, it was the stretching of his spine into a tail and the abrupt burst of twin appendages from his back that forced him low onto his belly. Each second of these extremities' growth precipitated a mewling screech. Worse, two more protrusions pushed out of either side of his skull, yet these were not limbs; rather, they were simple curved protrusions of bone, horns that finished growth just as his wings flapped out to finality and his tail ceased lengthening so that its spaded tip rested only a few feet from his rear legs.
Thinking the changes complete, Graham turned his lengthy neck so that he looked over his sloped shoulder and to his altered form that was still somewhat covered in tattered clothing. He hissed woefully. His form was somewhat sinuous; sleek, scaled and serpentine, yet at the same time muscled and well built to allow him to use his bat-like wings. The addition of three new limbs, altered sense of smell, sight, and sound, a warm hide, a new stance that would no longer allow him to walk on his two legs ever again and a warmth in his belly was all too much to process for a moment. He stumbled and swayed on his feet, claws clacking against the ground and tail twitching as he sought to understand how this could be. He was human one moment and now a...dragon the next? He flapped his wings and hissed uneasily.
"Hmm," he heard.
Graham hissed and looked up. Anna stood over him, grinning. Smiling, how could she be smiling? Because, Graham realized as fear filled him, she was in control. She hadn't been lying. The animals she had named before had been men and now they were powerless creatures forced to birth and breed, females that--
Female.
Graham hissed and scampered back away from the witch before looking down between his foreclaws, past his yellow underbelly, and towards his haunches. He hissed again for there was nothing there, nothing at all!
Or so Graham thought. Closer inspection with his improved vision allowed him to see that he did have something there, a scaled slit that could only be his cloaca now that he was a reptile, an opening that would explain why he didn't really have an anus as far as he could tell. Still, Graham was familiar enough with reptilian anatomy to realize that the presence of a cloaca did not mark him as male or female. That would be a factor that could only be determined if he became aroused or if he were bred by something.
"Confused, my darling dragoness?" Anna asked, causing Graham to look up at her. The dragon hissed and opened his maw, exposing his many sharp teeth. Though he was shorter than he and somewhat smaller, he felt confidence suddenly surge through him. She had turned him into a dragon, a dragon!--not some weak creature like a snake or cat. He could kill her or threaten her so that she would have no choice but to turn him back. Graham's self-assurance only grew when he felt the warmth in his belly rumble and his nostrils began to smoke. If there was one thing dragons were known for, it was fire.
In that next moment, Graham spewed fire at the witch. She laughed, unharmed, as the flames passed over her, the heat in Graham's belly dying down while it began to build further down below. The dragon's bravado drained away when his flames quickly quelled, leaving him panting and...wet? Graham hissed and looked down between his legs again and saw his slit. It appeared moist and puffier now, dripping slightly and burning with need. The dragon panted again and fell onto his haunches, tail twirling around one leg as he awkwardly reached for his slick slit with a foreclaw. Carefully he prodded the opening, shivering and screeching at the pleasurable sensations that flooded his senses, the pleasure urging him to press further in until his claw pushed pointedly in while his passage clamped needily upon the intruding digit.
No, not his. Hers.
With a screech, Graham withdrew her claw and rolled back onto all fours before promptly pressing her slit into the ground if only to suppress the heat in her nethers. Anna laughed and approached Graham, causing the dragoness to retreat, slick slit rubbing pleasurably against the ground. She shivered and shrank away from the witch, her fear the only thing keeping her pulsing nethers from taking all of her attention.
"So fiery," Anna whispered, the words seemingly increasing Graham's burning desire. "So hot. How will you ever relieve it?"
Graham shook her head, hissing. Sure, she was female but that did not mean she had to succumb like the others. She had to flee, run, get out of here! Tentatively, Graham flapped her wings before she realized she had no idea how to use them.
So, with a shrill shriek, Graham darted away from Anna. Panic and fear fueled her initial sprint, but something seemed to pull and tug at her strength. She ran for the rear exit, but the previously short distance did not seem so short anymore, its length somehow grew with each scuttling step she took. In fact, everything seemed to be getting bigger. Somehow, she was shrinking!
A few seconds after this dreadful realization, Graham stumbled and fell flat on her snout, her foreclaws grasping the ground while her rear raised in the air, a cold breeze feeling oh so wonderful across her smoldering sex. Here she remained, claws suddenly shackled by unseen forces. Her distinct hearing heard steps and then Anna was upon her once more. When Graham looked up this time, the witch loomed over her. The dragoness shivered in fear and rasped pitifully. If the witch wanted, she could pick up the dragoness and cradle her easily within her arms.
"Oh hush," Anna said. "We cannot have you running, especially not when you are in heat. "Oh no, no, no."
Graham hissed and puffed smoke, rear squirming as her slit throbbed again. She gnashed her teeth together, slightly biting onto her tongue to keep her mind off her wanton lust.
"Though," she smiled and continued. "It is not fair either to leave you like that. Hold on."
Anna walked away, while Graham, with no other choice, held on. Her loins tightened and she squirmed, all too aware of how swollen her slit was, how its edges responded so sensitively to even the touch of air upon them and how a sweet smell was beginning to linger in the air; a scent that could only signal a dragoness in heat. It was an absurd thought really, because dragons didn't exist after all, they were just myths and fairy tales. Yet here she was, a dragoness in heat, slick slit hungry for a mate that might not even exist. The lustful dragoness squealed and managed to barely raise her haunches, granting her some relief as her folds stretched. Then it became worse as it felt like there was more to fill.
"Here," Graham heard. "This may help."
Suddenly, Graham was shuddering and shivering as suddenly slightly cool pressed into her swollen sex. She hissed and pleasure, trying to tilt her head to see what the witch was doing. It only took a few more pushes of a circular ovoid or the dragoness to realize that it was an egg that was being pressed into her. The dragoness hissed in displeasure, but truly bliss was brought as the egg was thrust into her, her puffy passage eagerly clamping down on the intrusion. In one or two more presses Anna had pushed the egg totally into Graham's stretched slit, yet still, it was propelled further inside by an unseen force. The dainty dragoness quivered as Anna came around her and stood before her, leaning down to show that she held something in her cupped hands. It was a small lizard, a common green anole. Carefully, Anna placed the lizard in front of Graham while the dragoness continued to pant in pleasure as the egg moved farther and farther up. Still, she stared in confusion at the lizard before her. What did Anna expect, for her to eat it or for it to breed her? At her current state she could not consume much of anything save for the egg being squeezed in her passage and the lizard could not mate with something so much larger than herself.
This all changed when Anna tenderly tapped the lizard. The lizard shuddered and then suddenly exploded outward, gaining muscle and mass as its body reshaped into a sleeker, sharper, and stronger form. Graham half-watched, half gave into the bliss while the lizard gained claws, a pair of amber wings, and a crest of horns atop its now draconic head. Unlike her transformation, the lizard's own seemed so painless that it only seemed confused, not hurt by its uplift from meager lizard to handsome drake.
Handsome drake...
Graham shook her head as best as she could, trying to clear her muddled mind of lust. Unfortunately, her carnal desires only increased when the egg so deep into her folded suddenly seemed to dissolve, leaving behind an intense emptiness and an increased fertility of her egg chamber as the remnants of the egg swept away into her ready womb.
The uplifted lizard blinked its confusion and then it...no, _he_sniffed the air. He might have grown to a larger size and gained a few more benefits from his change into a dragon, but the lizard still possessed similar instincts. Graham tried to lower her rear, to hide that damnable smell beneath the cold floor, but it was too late. The drake sidled up to her, rubbing against her side and flicking a tongue against one of her wings before he came behind her, pushing her wings away and scraps of remnant clothing with his foreclaws before otherwise mounting her. Graham hissed, squealed and made all sorts of ruckus to throw the male off, but this only seemed to encourage him. The dominant dragon growled and bit into her neck roughly while thrusting into her ready passage simultaneously.
"Ohhhh," Anna sighed when the male grunted with the first thrust, Graham closing her eyes as if lack of sight would take away the feel of the dragon's cock within her. "I think he likes you."
The drake's stiff member rubbed roughly against her passage, the feeling of it within her so much better and yet so much worse than the egg. There was the fear of impregnation deep within the dragoness, but also the terror of knowing that she might end up as the other men that were female animals now--or was it female animals that were once men? Either way, each thrust brought her ever closer to climax and ever closer to motherhood perfectly matched her panic with pleasure. She did not want to enjoy it and yet she could not help but enjoy it.
"You will be a mother," Anna cooed as if that would allay the fears of the dragoness. "You will be ever so productive."
Graham shuddered at the next thrust, this one the deepest of them all. She was close to climax she realized, she must be. She wanted the burst of pleasure that would no doubt wash away her current fears, yet she feared the consequences the bliss would entail.
Abruptly, the male shivered and she felt his member twitch pleasurably within her. Graham braced herself, but nothing could prepare her for the sensation of a sudden spill of hot seed into her egg chamber. Neither was she prepared as the drake dismounted, leaving her womb filled but her bereft of the climax that would have at least distract her from her shame of being bred and her fear of motherhood.
"Hmm," Anna murmured, leaning down to scoop up the drake and cradling him in her arms. "Perhaps he did not like you as much as I thought."
As it was, the dragoness lay slumped against the ground, freed from her magical restraints yet without the will to move at the moment. She panted mostly quietly, her body all too aware of the seed spilling out of her sex while her mind considered other matters.
Would she be like the snake, fettered and fruitful, or the cat, bountiful and biddable, or the crow, fecund and yet infertile?
"Good boy," Anna crowed, nuzzling the held dragon. "She will be ready again soon enough."
Graham shuddered, wondering which was the worst.
