Welcome to the first story I'm calling mine (more on this later).

This story explores the tension between dragon and rider as one finds a new way to bug the other. Who knows what this could lead to, a good time? the end of a friendship?

Big thank you to

@Fawkesish

for writing the majority of this story. I gave him an outline and he finished majority of the story in two days. That man is a crackhead when it comes to writing stories.

Anyway, off you go. Shoo, read my story!

“Bored…" muttered Nyx, the large double-wing wyvern lying on his back across the stone floor of the dark cave. “This is bullshit!" He exclaimed. “You know that, right?" He added, turning his head to look at his rider who sat at a makeshift table in his cave.

“Orders are orders Nyx, you know it as much as I do." Ander replied without looking up from his page. The human sat on a crude chair with an oil lamp to help him read.

“We are dragon hunters, there are rumors of hostile dragons in the mountains… shouldn't we be hunting them?" Complained the wyvern, his large dark blue-gray tail flicked restlessly from side to side.

Ander tried to re-read the same paragraph one last time before he gave up, knowing that he wouldn't be able to continue while Nyx kept interrupting him. Looking up, he looked into Nyx's amethyst eyes and sighed. “The captain has made it very clear. Until we have all the information about this dragon, where it lives, where it eats, and more importantly, what it's doing, we are to stand by and await further instructions."

Rolling his big eyes dramatically, Nyx took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, “I'll give you instructions…" he muttered under his breath and shuffled on his back to get more comfortable. He waited until he heard Ander turn the page on his book before continuing. “We could be out there, right now. Gathering information-"

“Drop it Nyx, we both know if one of their dragons caught wind of you, we would be losing months of work." Ander explained. “The enemy hasn't sent their dragons this far south before and we really need to know why they are here, not just stop them." He added.

“Why? That's easy, they want our land, our ladies, and our gold. There! Investigation done, now can we do our job?" Nyx explained, laying on his back he curled his twin-tipped tail around and inspected them. With a flex of his tail muscles he clapped the two ends together in a dull slapping noise. Hiding his amusement as Ander jolted in his seat slightly.

“While I welcome your astute deductions my dear Nyx, we still need to wait for the captain. We are a unit, remember? What happens to those that don't work as a unit?" Ander asked, knowing full well that their training had drilled the answers into them.

The large wyvern sighed, “We get killed like a deer straying from the herd."

“That's right!" Ander said with a hint of passive aggression. Glancing over at the large reptile he held the wyverns gaze until Nyx looked back up at the ceiling. Ander, content he had won this round, returned to his book.

“What do you mean, catch wind of me?" Nyx inquired after a brief pause.

Ander closed his book with a sigh and looked at the large mount. “You know what I mean, we both know a true dragon has a fantastic sense of smell."

“Pfft, true dragon." Grumbled Nyx, “I'll show you a true dragon." He added and curled his tail around to point at his exposed groin with both tail tips.

“Nyx, buddy. I hate to be the one to tell you, but a true dragon has four legs and one set of wings." Ander teased with a smirk at the look of offense the wyvern had on his face.

“First of all, I don't know where you are getting your lies from." Nyx retorted. “Just because some dragons aren't born with redundant legs, doesn't make me any less of a dragon."

“Of course not buddy." Ander said with a grin. “You are a big stwong dwagon who can out fly anything in the sky." He added in a playful childish voice.

“Damn straight I can. Two sets of wings means I'm twice as good." Nyx boasted, stretching out his two pairs to emphasize his claim. While dragons were known to come in all shapes and sizes, Nyx was one of a few that boasted a second set of wings that protruded from just above and behind his lower set. During a constant flight, they would beat together as one set. However during fast maneuvers, he could flap them independently to make sharper turns or even hover for long periods of time.

“Twice as good…"Ander muttered under his breath while he shook his head in disbelief. “I think one true dragon would be a challenge for you, let alone two." He added softly.

“I heard that!" Nyx retorted. “For a man who supposedly upholds order, you do spew some lies. I could totally take two on, if I wasn't cooped up in this tiny cave."

“First of all, it is your cave. You picked it. Secondly, when was the last time you had taken down an actual dragon, all by yourself?"

Nyx swallowed and looked back up at the ceiling. “I could do it though." He muttered.

“Uh-huh." Ander chuckled and looked back down at his closed book. “Do you even know where to strike on a true dragon, or were you just going to give it the ol' bite and scratch."

“Do I know where to strike!?" Nyx retorted loudly, “Of course I do! Unlike you, my little human neck weight. I used to tussle with my nest mates since I hatched. I would be more concerned that you don't know where to swing your metal stick!"

Ander combed his hand through his brown hair and took a deep breath. “It's not a metal stick, it's a zweihander." He said shortly and glanced at the large sword that was sheathed and stored with the rest of his armor. “You would know this if you paid attention in training and didn't spend your classes chasing tail. Besides, I'll have you know I am well versed in a dragon's anatomy. I have a few more years of training than you. Remember?" Ander stated, knowing very well that he was leveraging his seniority. “I could use a dagger and have you beg for mercy." Ander added.

“Well-versed in a dragon's anatomy, my ass." Muttered Nyx as he scratched the side of his neck with a wing claw. He knew his rider was a formidable swordsman but that didn't stop him from playfully pushing Ander's buttons. He waited in silence until he heard Ander open his book again before smirking. “Alright then, bookwyrm. How would you take me down?"

“Take down the mighty Nyx?" Ander asked rhetorically. “Well, that's easy. I could do it without a weapon."

“Pfft. Liar." Nyx chuckled.

Ander grinned, his pearly white teeth contrasting against his shadow cast form, “Oh, I could bring you a deer laced with poison, or maybe a mushroom soup with death caps in it. You would just lap it up, without a doubt."

“Poison! You would stoop that low? I thought you were a man of honor."

“I'm a man that wants to win." Ander said as he stood up and slowly walked towards the large wyvern. Looking over his massive body that filled most of the cave with his wings outstretched. As the small human came closer he chuckled as Nyx's hind legs tucked closer to his body, “Well, if you want an honorable death. Your big strong armored scales are only on your back and belly, not on your wings or on the inside of your legs. So I would start there."

A playful smirk pulled at Nyx's snout as he chuckled. “I bet you would do well between my legs… even with your little dagger." His smirk turning into a broad grin as he saw the human become red in the face. Finally, after hours of boredom, he had found a new game to play.

Slowly stretching out one hind leg to give the human an unobstructed view of his underside he held the human's gaze, “Well then master of dragon anatomy, where would you strike your dagger?"

Ander glanced down his large wyvern's body before starting to turn away speechless, he had seen his wyvern exposed many times but found himself more confused than usual about his opinions of his beast. His eyes lingering on the thick thighs of his wyvern before he tore his gaze away quickly.

“Oh, please don't run away from a challenge my little knight." Nyx teased. “How are you to strike me down if you cannot look at your target? Hmm?" He added with a proud grin.

Arriving back at his table, Ander glanced back at the sprawling drake. “Something t-tells me you would prefer more than just looking." Ander said, his previous confidence quickly vanishing.

“Well, if you were offering. But by the way you blush like a fair maiden, I suspect you wouldn't have the stones to try anything fun." Nyx challenged.

Ander swallowed before shaking his head in disbelief. “Could you be any more of a cliche? Bored dragon is horny, surprise surprise-"

“Hey, don't bring race into it my little rider. Also, I didn't make it sexual, I'm just giving you an opportunity to get an in-depth look at your target. Should you ever need to take on a dragon like me." Nyx retorted with a grin, knowing he was making his companion uncomfortable.

“I have seen everything I need to in my books, thank you very much. I am quite capable of exploiting every weakness a dragon has, even a wyvern like you."

“Pfft, what books have you been reading?" Nyx asked and saw Ander become more flustered. “And how long did you… 'study' the pretty pictures, My little rider?"

“Long enough! And for your information, it was Alagust's synopsis of the dragon lifecycle-"

“Oh god! I swear that has the worst smut." Nyx cried out. “Like, the mating scene in the middle, the dragoness looks soooo unimpressed. And the so-called 'detailed' drawing of the male anatomy… well, I can see why she wasn't satisfied."

Ander frowned and looked at his companion, the textbook had been rather wordy in its descriptions and he found it odd that the wyvern would read something so dense. “Since when did you start reading textbooks? Wait, let me guess. You were just looking at the pictures."

“Hey, something tells me you enjoyed the pictures too." Grinned the wyvern and gave his human a playful wink before Ander looked away embarrassed. “You humans and your silly rules. It's okay to have fun, as long as everyone is having fun."

Ander shook his head and adjusted his robes before he sat back down at his desk. “We are done talking about this. I need to finish this-"

“Oh, we are totally not done talking about this. Unless you wanted to do something more than talk." Nyx teased. While rider and dragon intimacy was forbidden, dragons rarely kept sealed lips when it came to boasting about their conquests and the wyvern suspected a few pairs of secretly engaging in carnal activities.

Looking at Ander with his sharp purple eyes, he knew that he was quite good looking by human standards. His station ensured that he was well groomed, cleaned and fit, at peak breeding age by a human's shorter lifespan. While he himself wasn't against the idea of being with a human, he was enjoying watching his human squirm far more than anything else. “Come on, put down those silly books and I'll let you see the real deal."

Ander took a few moments longer than he expected to reply. “No, it's forbidden, if the captain found out-"

“The captain, said we need to trust one another, remember? With our lives, why couldn't we keep this as our little secret?" Nyx asked, honeying his words with an honest smile, when his human didn't reply he continued. “I'm just offering you a bit of a look, you are welcome to touch if you want."

“I-I don't think this is a good idea." Ander said, his words sounding unconvincing as he said them. “I mean, what if someone finds out?" he added, feeling his self control slipping as he looked over the sprawled form of his wyvern.

“It's just you and me, Ander. I trust you, do you trust me?" He asked softly. “Come on, it will help you get a better understanding of a dragon's weak spots. Something you may need to know when we face another dragon."

“I-I… You don't need to show me, I'm okay without seeing your dick. Trust me." Ander said, finally finding his courage. “I don't imagine it will matter in the heat of battle."

“Oh, my little dove, that's where you are wrong. You think I only have one… weak spot down there, don't you?" He asked and saw the human's mouth open slightly. “See? How about you expand your knowledge a little bit, and who knows. You might like what you see, I have heard nothing but praise from my previous… riders." He said with a smug wink, “Think of it as a bonus lesson to our training."

Ander cocked his head in confusion before he shook it to clear his mind of his clouded thoughts. “Nyx, it's against our doctrine. You know what happened to that dragoness and her rider." He said firmly, “They were stripped of their rank and exiled."

“Well, that's because they got caught." Nyx said with a shuffle of his wings. “And, that dragoness serviced most of the air wing. Hell, I made her roar herself silly twice. So it's no surprise her rider had a go." he added before looking up at the ceiling, remembering how the needy ness came on his climaxing shaft before he had swapped and gone again with his other length. A pleasant warth started to grow in his loins as he remembered the state he had left her in, the blissful expression on her flustered face and the breathless words of thanks she had left him with.

“That's beside the point!" Ander exclaimed and took a deep breath only to find the musky scent of his wyvern clouding his judgment. “I will take your word on your… equipment. Let's never speak of this again."

Nyx pouted and laid his head back against the cold stone ground with a huff. “I know you want to. I want it too, nothing shameful about it." He said before turning his head to look at his rider once more. “Don't pretend I haven't seen you checking out my rump when you put my saddle on-"

“That's enough!" Ander said firmly. “Please, drop it. I'm going to finish reading this book, then get ready for the evening, and that's final."

Nyx chuckled and rolled his eyes. He knew he was pushing the man too far but couldn't help himself, they had been cooped up in their cave like caged animals and he knew they both needed to let off some steam.

“Well, this wyvern is going to polish their equipment. You are welcome to stay and watch, or join in if you want-"

“Like hell you are." Ander exclaimed and saw the stubborn look in his companion's eyes. “Fine, if you are going to do… that. I'm going to get some fresh air." Ander said as the red coloration in his cheeks started to return. Standing up he took two steps and snatched up his large sword and sheath, opting to leave his armor alongside the wyvern's saddle.

“Aww, don't be like that." Nyx said playfully. “You can just watch!" He added as the human strode past his large lounging form. “I can be quiet!"

Ander shook his head, finding his pants tighter than expected as he quickly left the wyvern to his own devices. Walking out of the entrance of the cave he took a deep breath of the fresh air and sighed. The confusing thoughts racing through his head tore at his mind as he began the descent from their lair.

Nyx pouted as his human disappeared down the slope outside his cave and let out a sigh. The excitement of trying to get Ander to join him had his heart rate elevated and found his tail drifting between his powerful legs. “YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING OUT ON!" he called out of the cave. Stroking his tail up and down his vertical slit he could feel his shafts stir.

While the gentle pressure of his twin tipped tail normally brought him pleasure, he found himself stroking and circling his slit more than he usually had to before his tips began to emerge from his tightening slit.

Glancing back out the cave entrance he couldn't see or hear his rider and took a deep breath, held it before slowly exhaled. “His loss." He muttered and gently ran the fork of his tail tips up the underside of his emerging lengths.

Closing his eyes, he tried to imagine the dragoness he had the pleasure of servicing. Even though their meeting had been fleeting, his dreams afterwards had been filled with finding her, rutting her senseless again and again. His two cocks emerged as he focused on the memory of the sounds the dragoness had made. How her whole body quivered around his length as he pounded his cocks into her one after another. He shuddered as he stroked his tail tips down the fleshy ridges that ran on either side of his shaft, designed to stimulate a mate to ovulate if needed. He gently caressed each one before curling his head around to see his handiwork.

Closing his eyes, he smiled as he remembered the look of lust in the dragoness's eyes but frowned when he suddenly pictured Ander replacing her. The small human bent over and presented himself to Nyx with the same look of desire. Nyx quickly opened his eyes and looked around, the scent of his arousal hung like a fog in the air, his sensitive nostrils twitching as he inhaled the lustful aroma. “Maybe another dragon could smell me coming." He muttered and chuckled at his own innuendo.

His smile fading as he looked longing back at the entrance of the cave, hoping to see his rider coming back to join in. With his tails idly stroking his shafts he tried to keep them both hard while contemplating seeking Ander out and apologizing. His draconic pride told him that the human should be grateful to be given the opportunity to share his body, but the rational part of his brain made him grind his teeth in frustration.

“Why do they have to be so difficult?" He muttered and stretched one of his wings out. While wrapping one of his shafts with his tail tips he squeezed gently as he rolled to his side and reached for Ander's gambeson. The thick dark blue padded clothing alluding his wing claws until he shuffled and pulled it closer.

Moving it near his snout he could smell his rider's musk in the gambeson, and felt his shafts harden with a distinct throb. Closing his eyes he tried to imagine the smaller human wrapping his arms around his shafts as he slowly collected the pre oozing from his tip and smeared it down his lengths.

“That's it, Ander, just like that." He murmured to himself, “I told you you would like it." He added with a blissful smirk.

Squeezing his shafts together he rubbed his tail up and down their full lengths, clenching his jaw as a nagging thought kept reminding him that he was alone.

He pumped his shafts frantically as the erotic moment started to fade and pressed his snout further into Anders gambeson before gnashing his teeth in frustration. His guilty mind slowly pulled him away from his lustful thoughts and caused his shafts to lose their firmness.

With a defeated sigh he relaxed his grip on his shafts and shook the dark blue armor off of his snout. “nngheh!" He whined and relaxed his body, allowing his shafts to soften and retract back into his armored slit. “Maybe I did push too hard." He muttered under his breath. Looking towards the entrance a pang of loneliness ran through his heart, since joining the dragon hunters guild he had been partnered with Ander and almost always had the man by his side. Frowning, he tried to wrack his memory for any mention Ander had made about previous lovers and cocked his head when he came up with none. “Surely not…" he muttered as he rolled to his feet. He always found the concept of a marital ring odd, a simple metal band that conveyed ownership and had never seen one on Ander's digits.

Arching his back he stretched before shaking his whole body and head, trying to clear his thoughts of his rider from his mind. Failing, he took a deep breath and sighed. The sun was starting to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the land.

A pang of guilt caused him to open his wings, ready to fly out and find his rider until he clenched his jaw with pride. “He should be apologizing to me!" He grumbled, sitting down on his haunches and curling his neck in a regal pose. “He will be back…" he added and watched the sun continue to sink, his rider was more than capable of defending himself. A smirk pulled at Nyx's snout as he thought that maybe a night in the cold would help remind Ander of what he is missing out on.
