Uninvited Guests (Ch. 13-b)
Khaesho rushed towards the entrance at a manic pace; if he hurried, he could get into position before they got into the cave proper. He had been doing his best to talk and even think in English, for Shou's sake, but at a time like this, he and Kalokin...
Dry Eyes, Cold Hearts (Ch. 1)
The brown and tan striped wolf yawned, cracking his knuckles, stealing another glance towards the sky to see how far Solus had moved. His watch was over in two hours at Solset, when Solus sank beneath the horizon and Belluosus began his majestic ascent...
Something Forgotten(Ch. 2)
The itching she could still feel was slowly settling, but her mind was freshly disturbed by the thought. Her ears flattened against her skull and she keened slightly as the horrible thought rolled through her mind though. Kalokin beat her to the punch...
Reprieve (Ch. 10.5?)
Of course, there were still several hours to go until sundown, and Kalokin wouldn't need more than fifteen minutes to fetch a snack. No, this time was for him to sort his thoughts out, to get his mind in order. The last time he'd told this story, he'd...
Metamorphisis (Ch. 13-a)
Shou curled up under the pile of fur and made herself small. Kalokin had let her think he was going to start mangling her as soon as he could, but truthfully? He wanted to let her sleep as long as possible while still letting her try and sleep through...
Decisions and Regrets (Ch. 5)

Dry Eyes, Cold Hearts (Ch. 2)

A Small Problem (Ch. 11)
Shou herself hadn't expected it, but between the damage her soul had suffered and the energy she expended with Khaesho and Kalokin, she found that she was exhausted. Her ears twitched slightly as she curled into him, letting out a soft, sleepy noise as...
Wayfinder's Journals (1)
Day 46 I can hardly believe my luck! Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be allowed access to the capitol itself. The grand city of Ocala surpasses all the legends I've heard, truly it is an oasis secreted away within the desert. I could...
Cornered (Ch. 3)
For a small, inexplicable moment, Shou was genuinely afraid, not for herself, but for the policemen. Kalokin's menacing laugh had reverberated through her mind, and it sounded... wicked. She winced, twitching her ears to catch the sounds of her claws...
