#20 of Syngeneia Kathairein

You like dark fantasy, dragons, adventure and a bit of romance?

You want to see the work of a professional video game writer?

You find AI's interesting?

This story of mine has all of that! Syngeneia Kathairein puts you in the shoes of Entropion, a purple dragon tasked to ''make the world right again''. (although he is a jackass in this prequel intro!) The view is set in first person view from Entropion's POV. This story is inspired by warcraft, forgotten realms, spyro the dragon and dragon age, among other things. AIdungeon's makeup is a bit messy, but > arrows denote saying or doing something. Part of the story is AI generated, please keep that in mind.

19 is the 8th prime number and the number of Protons in a Potassium Nucleus which you would have about 2.2 x 10^24 of in your body. The Vietnam war lasted 19 years and the 19th US constitution amendment gave women the right to vote. That's all, as I didn't know what to put here.

"Yes Enty, I am. Just like you my parents got murdered when Malediction found out their child is a purple dragon." You comment "well, any relics or heirlooms won't be kept here. How about we poke around in Malediction's throne room and storages?" "We?" "Yeah, we. You think I'll let you go in there alone? I got your back, Enty" Disarria jokes. The two of you head through tunnels and halls to eventually reach the dragon-sized doors to the throne room. You're about to head inside when Xenia finds you. "Hey guys, why are you going in there?" "Just seeing if anything is kept here," you reply. > You say "You want to see Apocalion's prison silo, Xenia? After all Abysmalia will be spending her time to keep it operational. " "Yes, I would like to see it," Xenia says. The three of you head to the prison silo. It is a large, pit-like room with a long spiral staircase leading to a catwalk that circles the entire room. In the middle of the room is a large, cylindrical tank with a firmly closed lid. The Rhodium dragons have constructed a crude magical machine with the Onyx as focus. It feeds the vault a constant ray of negative energy. Abysmalia is inspecting the device, she already summoned a few undead Draghouls from Malediction's former guard to encircle the prison and guard it. You get to Abysmalia. "Hey there Abby, any progress in getting the gem out there?" Abysmalia informs you that it is child's play. She sighs afterwards. "Keeping this thing online has increasing costs. Even the increase is increasing!" Disarria cuts in and says that's called an exponent but Xenia gives her a gentle push to shut Disarria up. Abysmalia continues "with my talents I can keep this thing shut longer than the Rhodium idiots. Hm? Probably for 70 years" you smile wide "so I can take a vacation?!" Abysmalia doesn't look amused at all. "Yeah let me work my tail off keeping this thing closed and finding willing sacrifices while also hunting undead. I found a way to sacrifice undead because I am that good" you deliberately ignore her sarcasm and nod, smiling. "Thanks, I, Disarria, Koriza and Zalisi will have a grand holiday" After Abysmalia reluctantly gives you the Onyx, you put the dark gem on your back.

Disarria impatiently pulls you back up the stairs to the throne room and then a massive cave entrance littered with bones and cave paintings painted with blood. This was Malediction's lair, it still has his scent. This is very strange for Disarria as this location was the most forbidden for her when growing up. > You say "Look at Malediction's blood paintings... the detail is astounding. They look like hieroglyphic styled language, it should be easy to read. Dis, try to find where it starts." Disarria looks at the paintings, she looks impressed. "Hm. He was my brother after all. You are right, it is a code of some sort." she sits down to the ground and starts looking at the paintings. Disarria looks up to you "I have no idea. I can't work out this bloody code, look for yourself" Disarria, annoyed, stands up and leaves you there. Well that went well... > You say "Hmmm.... it is obvious! The reason Koriza, Machafuko, us 2, and seemingly Zalisi too, are either royalty or purple dragons is because Malediction wanted to control the world through us. Makes sense for Malediction's character. He wanted us married so we could breed him a purple dragon army! His final goal was to.... what the hell? That hubris filled moron wanted to usurp Apocalion?! It stops at the time Koriza killed him. Here there is a doodle? "Koriza was here" oh. I love that girl, even vandalized the life's work of that psychotic faggot." You think about the story so far. You are not sure how you should react, you aren't surprised by Malediction's master plan. Disarria finds a drawing where her parents are murdered, and she was stolen. Just like you... she knew this and it answers nothing. Disarria and you go back and forth a bit. She said a while ago she also visits Catharsion in dreamscape regularly. Catharsion also told Disarria there isn't much on her parents, just like yours. > You say "Dis, we were too young to remember anything about our parents, sure, Malediction was awful but his actions made me meet Koriza. You and the group are my family and I wouldn't trade that for any other way." "Thanks Enty, you're too kind" Disarria says while hugging you. You growl softly in content. You take a trip through memory lane by walking through the palace. > You say "Hey, this dark palace is quite an impressive building... would you ever want to return here or are there too many bad memories like in Koriza's case?" "I don't think I could ever live here. It's the place where my parents were killed, and Malediction tried to kill me! But if you ever wanted to return here, I would be fine living in a palace. We could even expand and build one for each of us, how cool would that be? You could even build a family with me!" Disarria says. "I'd like that"I never thought about it that way, but you're right. I do have some great memories here. But still, returning here would probably be a bad idea" Disarria says. After a pause she continues. "I had free roam because I am a purple dragon. Koriza was just a tool to Malediction. About her... want to snoop in her old private stuff?" You are in a mischievous mood and agree. You head there, Koriza's room is cleaned out. A hollow reminder of a former life... Disarria admits to you she has a surprise for you as she seems to be looking for something. You wait curiously. "Found it!" Disarria exclaims. It is a set of dark tinted metallic armor, it looks very crisp and is made out of multiple plates. No rounded shape can be seen, only sharp, geometric edges. As you try it on Disarria tells you this is the very armor belonged to Catharsion! It is an extremely tough set of high carbon steel. This is why the set has been preserved well for millennia. It fits you naturally and you put the cage grilled visor down. "Do I look like the savior of the planet yet?" You put your arms out pretending to be a hero. "You look like young Catharsion!" Disarria says excitedly. > You say "It's quite heavy, I doubt I will use it outside ceremony as I prefer speed and flight. I don't know if I can fly with this!" "I still love it!" You say. Disarria nods disappointingly "Well I trust your judgment! Koriza is too small to wear this, but she us a big fan of Catharsion. > You say "So, what makes the metal of this plate armor suit so special it can no longer be produced?" "It was made from regular iron and a mineral unreachable without the titanic powers of a god.

Apocalion got imprisoned and thus the method is gone" Disarria explains to you. You give her a cocky grin under your visor. "Maybe a future mission for us to the Underscorch?" The Underscorch are very deep caverns leading to the mantle of the planet, where rock becomes magmatic slush. It is totally off limits! "You wish!" Disarria laughs, "Now follow me, we got a vacation in Korizan waiting!" She leads the way back to the sub. Where Koriza is muscular yet feminine, Disarria is a traditionally feminine dragoness. Beautiful, serpentine and thin body. The agile way she moves compliments her beauty. Disarria is a great friend and not bitchy like typical hot girls. However, you prefer Koriza. Her battle scars and "no nonsense" attitude are the most attractive to you. Koriza was highly guarded when you met her but now she is putty in your claws. Once back at the sub, it's just you, Koriza, Zalisi, Disarria and Redsamuru. You are both happy things are more relaxed now. Well, until Koriza sees you in Catharsion's armor. She swoons. You playfully catch her. This causes the rest of your entourage to roll their eyes and leave. "Warrior woman my ass!" Disarria complains. Koriza giggles. "Don't worry Dis, I am also a princess!" Disarria groans and leaves. > You say "How about me kissing you, my princess? Right here and now~" You say this in a smooth, sultry tone. Koriza is surprised at first but then smiles. "I like that idea." You and her kiss for quite some time. Her muzzle is very warm. Eventually the pair of you make your way to your bedroom. You make love that night. The next day the pair of you wake up late, Zalisi and Redsamuru make the atmosphere at the dinner table tense. Redsamuru starts off. "Koriza and Entropion? Why do you fuck like feral animals? Your noises are not normal" Disarria gives you a toothy grin and wink. As if to say "good job fucking Koriza, stud." Zalisi mumbles "....at least Koriza doesn't have to help herself after her man is done" Disarria laughs like a hysterical hyena. Redsamuru blushes in shame. "It's not my fault your cunt is defective and doesn't orgasm" Redsamuru states. Zalisi may have tamed him, but Redsamuru still has no etiquette. This causes Zalisi to roll her eyes. "I don't even like sex, but if I did I would not be having it with you." Zalisi states. "Why not? I am a good lover, even if I do say so myself." "You're a good lay?" Disarria blurts out in surprise. "Zalisi, could you stop saying that word?" Koriza asks with embarrassment. "I'm trying to eat here." > You say "It's comedic. Did Xenia and Abysmalia leave us anything? I always wanted to nose in Abysmalia's research papers." "Yes, they left us a shitload of food. They also left the notes for their experiments." Koriza grins, showing her fangs. "I've been reading them, and they're very interesting." "Hey, I saw the notes on the second floor!" you say suddenly. "They were in a notebook with a black cover. Did you look at that one?" "Yes," says Zalisi. "It was about the magical spectrum." > You say "Oh? Disarria once mentioned it. The magical spectrum states elements are almost never pure in magical spells right? Like necromancy containing a very tiny bit of light to raise the dead? Pure Darkness is a timeless void." "Yeah, that was the one!" Koriza grins. "They made a lot of notes on purity and which types of magic are close to each other." "Did they find anything new?" you ask. "No," says Koriza. "But it was still pretty interesting." Disarria eagerly adds to the conversation "Xenia and Abysmalia spent a lot of time together. These notes could help us craft new spells and dissect existing phenomena! The shadow schism demons are bizarre. Darkness with a bit of nature and light to create these grotesque flesh growths." > You say "I always figured darkness and light combined are trans-mutative, with its stability based on the ratio of light?" "That's a good theory," Disarria says. "It certainly sounds plausible." "The magical spectrum is a broad topic to cover," you say. "I'm not surprised it's confusing." "We should research the notes ourselves," Zalisi says. "Or at least copy them so we don't lose them." > You say "When we get to Korizan we'll experiment, magic in a tight metal container in the sea is a recipe for a burial at sea." "Alright," says Zalisi. "I'll make sure to come to you if I have any questions."

Disarria looks around the ship and says "The rest of you should do the same. You never know when a single detail might be the difference between life and death... or undeath." > You say "We also got the fire ruby, dark onyx and light diamond. 3 superchargers could make experiments really interesting. " "We should be able to make a good life for ourselves with these," says Zalisi. "But we should still practice our magic so we don't lose our edge." "This is true," you say. "I don't think it will be too much longer," Zalisi says looking st the sea life. > You say "Koriza, does Yanawa have any bunkers or such I can use? I want to do some brute force magic bombardment experiments." "You're joking right?" says Koriza. "Why would I joke about something like that?" you say. Koriza sighs and says "Yanawa kinda needs it's defenses, it's still unstable as the war is just over. Please just find a cave far from the city" fair enough. You dock the submarine at Yanawa, and move in the ghostly spectre of the palace. The rooms of Koriza's parents are locked and off limits after their passing. It is still too painful for her. You move back in Koriza's childhood bedroom with her. Zalisi and Redsamuru grab a room and Disarria has a room for herself, to her displeasure. She is a social creature after all > You say "Your childhood bed... our initial love nest. Hey, should I wear Catharsion's armor again sometime soon? " "I don't think I could take that much stimulation right now," says Koriza. "Oh? So you say, but your rosy cheeks are telling a different story," you say, poking her side. "Hey, stop that!" she says, pushing you away. "We'll have to cuddle plenty, too! I am a princess and warrior. Not some common slut!" Koriza teases you. > You say "I want to experiment with the gems and magic soon. Could you oversee the city meanwhile? Korizan and Yanawa need their princess. " "I suppose. Just don't break anything important!" says Koriza, kissing you goodbye. You walk around the city, talking to citizens and listening to their concerns. There are a few riots here and there, but you put them down with force and a little bit of magic. You notice how the citizens are more scared than angry. Most are not even protesting, just pleading for mercy or a solution to their problems. > You say "I do not wish to harm you. What troubles the people of Yanawa nowadays? " "The war that took our homes, the ongoing struggle for survival, the lack of food, the danger of bandits and monsters... you are a powerful wizard. Can't you stop all this?" "I don't know, I will grab my tools." You walk away from the man, heading towards your study. You have a lot to think about. Your wife is taking care of the city's problems with her intelligence, charm and leadership. You are taking care of it with your strength and magic. > You say "Disarria? Zalisi? Hello? Redsamuru? I require assistance with something. " "Hello, yes! I will help you. What is it?" says Disarria. "I'm busy now. I will help you later." says Zalisi. "I am busy! Engineering! ... stuff." > You say "Red, I need your mechanical skills. Zalisi? I wasn't asking. I need your water magic skills." Zalisi sighs. "Fine! What is it? You explain the destitution of post war Yanawa. You grab the darkness boosting Onyx, light boosting diamond and fire boosting ruby. These giant gems weight your back down quite a lot Redsamuru grabbed his engineering goods. Lots of gizmos and scrap in a cart he pulls with him. You return to the rowdy city square and find the man you spoke with earlier. > You say "Shelter, water, food. In that order. These desperate people here need all 3 if I understood you correctly?" He nods in agreement. You walk through the city, finding starving, thirsty and dirty people everywhere. "Hello sir, I'm here to help." He looks at you and the man, examining your intentions. "You do realize that if you give me food, there won't be any left for you right?" > You say "Shelter first. Winter is coming. Do you mind if I use that rubble there? " He nods. "I do need help. That was my house. I'm not charging you anything." The man is skinny and dirty. He wears old tattered clothing. The city has been through hell, but his house was probably very nice before the war. "Thank you."

You position the light gem for a magic spell. Light is about order, and with the gem powering you up, you could easily "heal" a house and return it to its former glory. > You fill your body and mind with empathy and charge the light, then casting it on the ruins through the gem. You feel a surge of energy as you channel the light into the rubble. The rubble begins to glow, and then disintegrate. In its place is a clean, white house. You drop the magical energy from the gem. "How will this house stay up, it's just floating there?" asks the man in awe. "It's made of anti-gravity material." you lie. > You gently put the house on the ground. You gently put the house on the ground. "That's amazing!" You have successfully transformed a ruined house, into a clean, functioning one. You need to find a water source for now. Disarria seems impressed. "Enty, you just reversed entropy. that is the key to time travel!" Zalisi and red are working out a simple water pump from scratch as Zalisi purifies it with her watery magic. You leave them to that and go with Disarria. "I had a theory, we know the gems amplify their respective magic, but what if we strike them with another element I think it should lens the original spell, but modified by the gem" Disarria proposes her idea to you. She seems to be leading where you are walking to. It seems to be the city outskirts. "Dis... that is the way to the mass graves of the war... our task is remains disposal isn't it?" You ask her, hoping her words will liberate you from the duty you do not wish to carry out. "That's exactly why I think it is the perfect place to test this spell" she says with a cold, emotionless voice. She does that thing where she gets cold and distant, Disarria is protecting herself. You think for a while about what you could do here... > You say "How about I shoot a light ray towards the dark Onyx? I could transmute the corpses in fresh, edible animal meats?" "I was thinking of that too, but what if it backfires and poisons the whole area?" > You say "Yeah... I should practice transmutation before making something as risky as food... hm... how about water magic on the Onyx? Darkness and water should create a caustic substance breaking flesh down effortlessly " "That's nice and all, but what if it gets on us? I think you should try your light spell" You are not sure what to do here... > You say "We do need the destructive power of darkness to dispose of this mess. Destruction... yes! I will shoot darkness to the fire gem! I wonder what darkness and fire will combine into?" "Well, fire burns flesh, and darkness consumes light as it's entropy itself. I think it's risky too" "I need to try something. Fire and water, or darkness? Which would you choose?" "You choose then" While you were talking with Disarria, Zalisi had prepared your equipment for the burial task. You look at the 3 gems given to you. One fire gem, one light gem and one dark gem.
