Syngeneia Kathairein part 26
#27 of Syngeneia Kathairein
You like dark fantasy, dragons, adventure and a bit of romance?
You want to see the work of a professional video game writer?
You find AI's interesting?
This story of mine has all of that! Syngeneia Kathairein puts you in the shoes of Entropion, a purple dragon tasked to ''make the world right again''. (although he is a jackass in this prequel intro!) The view is set in first person view from Entropion's POV. This story is inspired by warcraft, forgotten realms, spyro the dragon and dragon age, among other things. AIdungeon's makeup is a bit messy, but > arrows denote saying or doing something. Part of the story is AI generated, please keep that in mind.
welp, forgot last week. here's 2 weeks content.
Disarria explains what she got. Accelerate time at will for a small area, this dark power will wear down almost any material!"that does sound awesome, she also got a light power that allows her to make holograms. You look at her and grin back " I guess we got a lot more time to spend together then" > You say "We still need to work together. These security walls won't collapse by accelerating time alone. My gas infused spit corrodes anything but far too slowly.... ya see what I am getting at?" Disarria thinks for a bit. "Hmmm.... we are in a lab full of reagents. We can do even better! Now I just need to practice on my hologram work so we can disguise the hole..." you nod, working on a high destructive mixture that can melt a wall when combined with rapid tome acceleration. You prepare your escape. Tracing the construction of this place Disarria has a rough idea where you can flee to. You are in a complex with more cells but that is all you know at the moment. You both work on your plans and hope that you can pull it off. You prepare your escape. Tracing the construction of this place Disarria has a rough idea where you can flee to. You are in a complex with more cells but that is all you know at the moment. You both work on your plans and hope that you can pull it off. Days pass and you are getting closer to finishing your work, the guards have no idea what you are doing but they keep a close eye on you, the wall should be opened by now. You are not sure if this plan will work but it's better than going down without a fight! Disarria looks at you "Enty, that wall is softer than afield of daisies tonight is the night. The runes blocking normal magic didn't respond. Like, at all." You show a toothy grin. > You say "Prepare our impostor holograms and the undamaged wall hologram. It's time we find redemption out of this shank. " Disarria nods, working on the holograms. You begin to feel tingly and your vision goes hazy. "There is something in the air, it feels magical." You say. "That cocktail of yours... yeah we need to go" Disarria answers. You left through the wall and now are I a type of... service tunnel. You quickly disguise yourselves with magic into 2 blue dragons. Just in case. These tunnels seem to connect to many rooms to serve food or water through chutes.
You will have to murder any maintenance worker spotting you. You move forward, checking for life. You hear some movement, you hide and send a bolt of frost to kill the worker when he appears. You are lucky, this one was alone. You continue moving through the tunnels and towards your goal. You get closer to the control room. Your plan is coming together but it's a long shot... Disarria goes ahead to scout, you follow after a while. "You were right, there are 4 workers here." > You breathe corrosive gas on the workers. You send a cloud of gas towards the workers. The gas eats at their skin and dissolves it as they scream in pain. They are dead within seconds but it was a horrible way to die. You loot the humanoid clothes left in puddles and find some keys. You and Disarria rush further in the complex. > You say "We are alone, again.... how long are utility tunnels normally, Dis?" You are alone, again.... how long are utility tunnels normally, Dis?" Disarria looks at you "Dunno, I am guessing not this long... they must really like their security. You keep going straight and after a while there is an intersection. You see 2 blue dragon guards. They look at you in tour blue dragon disguises funny "wait, our shift is over already?" One of them says. > You say "We lit a garbage can on fire, we've been ordered to cover for you as punishment. So just let us get to it." "Ah, sure. Don't blame you for that one. Good luck" They reply and let you pass. You reach the door and stand guard, pretending to be guards with Disarria. Once they left, you and Disarria take a look at your key bundles and find the matching ones. > You say "Maybe we can liberate some sweet loot! Two keyholes, they got their security right... at my lead, turn your key Disarria. 1... 2...3!" You turn your keys at the same time, the door opens. You and Disarria enter the room. You quickly close the heavy magic immune door as multiple older blue dragons turn to you "CYKA BLYAT!" "Vat is dis?!" "Above your clearance, guards!" They yell at you. > You use dark magic to dissolve the enemy blue dragons. You use dark aura to decay their flesh, they are no match for you. In seconds they are bones. You loot the room, finding only a key card, that seems to be made of a strange metal. The card is named: "Violet Clearance Key card". You and Disarria look around and see a magical cage... similar to the ones that kept the thrones but stuck to tubes and a cage-like structure. > You say "There may be a powerful monster in that cage Dis! Or a weird experimental organism. Let's open it!" "Why not" says Disarria. You approach the key card to the card reader, it opens a door. You walk in, and see... a dragon. It is unlike you've ever seen. It's purple looking but not a purple dragon. The skin is translucent purple, glowing. Four beady, milk eyes look at you. You don't see a pupil but you can feel that you are being observed. Its tail splits in multiple ends like a fox o nine tails. The dragon seems weak and confused. "Exhausted. Nalomuzo has no idea what happened" the creature talks funny, certainly not from around here. > You say "Wait.. Wait a fucking moment. Did the blues keep a VIOLET DRAGON here?! They do exist!" "Oh, a dragon? Let me see!" Disarria asks to see the dragon. You show Disarria the dragon. Disarria sees it and gasps. "The most elusive being in the world... a violet dragon! I have no idea how Nalomuzo got here but we need to free him!" Nalomuzo seems to have understood you, as he approaches you. "Warchief. Nalomuzo and purple dragons of kin. Allies" you smirk, seems the mythos weren't mythos at all. "Hey dis, he sees us as our friend. How about we don't disappoint him and blow this joint?" You suggest to Disarria. Disarria thinks for a moment. "Yes. Let's go. We are not meant to be dragon slaves!." You and Disarria exit the chamber, leaving Nalomuzo free. You wonder where you should go now... > You keep going straight forward. The three of you keep going straight. You wonder what is in the other two paths... no time to lose! You come across a lightly guarded door. The blue dragon guards, 2, shoot at you with their frost attack. > You respond with a adrenaline filled flame attack. You fire a huge flame at the two blue guards. They are not killed, but they are set on fire.
You continue forward to the next room. The next room is a large room with a single enemy, a blue dragon wizard. The wizard seems to be commanding the next group of guards. He sees you and prepares to attack. You now must choose whether to attack the guards or the wizard. Before you can act, Nalomuzo opens his mouth and emits a ray of toxic radiation. The other blue dragon guards flee as the wizard fell apart like legos do. Wet, flesh splat on the floor and Lego. Actually. You can see the light and the 3 of you flee outside! You are in a mountainous area, with a few trees and a river. The 3 of you look at the mountains and wonder where you are.... > You say "There is no magic field here like there is inside... relay teleport to the submarine?" Disarria nods as she grabs you and Nalomuzo. You do the thing, using what little energy you have left and soon you 3 find yourself in the submarine. Zalisi and Redsamuru seem shocked to see a living violet dragon! "It's okay." you say to them. "I've got a lot of explaining to do... but first, nap time" You go to your room and lock the door behind you. Nalomuzo and Disarria got to deal with this now. Disarria gently wakes you up by nuzzling you "wake up lazy prince..." > You say "No. Go away you purple obscenity. " "What did you say to me?" She asks. "I said no. Go away." "No, I mean what did you call me?" You look at her and reply "I called you a purple obscenity... now leave me alone." She is confused at first but then says "You called me a purple... obscenity? Like a vulgar word for a female dragon?" "Yeah, that's what I said." You reply, annoyed. Disarria sighs. "Charming, really acting like royalty are you? Anyway.... we are going to the mainland. Molich is crooked as hell!" You feel relieved, hopefully it is better there. "Klyanev, city of ice. We're going to go to the capital. Zalisi wants to find her noble house" she was stolen, just like Koriza. Maybe her parents are still out there? Hopefully you'll find them, you have to bring peace and order to dragons after all! You nod. "Good, I'm glad we're going to the mainland." You stretch and yawn. "Let's go." > You say "Disarria? Is Nalomuzo comfortable in the sub? I want to talk with him. I mean.... he must've so much stuff to tell us!" Disarria nods "he is in pretty ad health due being in a cage for over a decade. Nalomuzo wishes to only do his story once." You hope Nalomuzo will regain his strength or at least hold up. You cannot bestow healing with your stamina at this point. You, Disarria, Zalisi and Nalomuzo collect in the meeting room. You don't ask about Redsamuru as Zalisi's facial expression says it all. He refused and they argued. Again. Nalomuzo explains. "Stasis, Nalomuzo came from above. Captor, Kirpichnikov stole Nalomuzo. Evil, Kirpichnikov only interested in power, not learning." You ask Nalomuzo where he came from, as you all want the myths around violet dragons answered. "Asteroid Belt, subject Syngeneia. Mythology, Nalomuzo scout, earth side to talk to inhabitants. Xenite and Desichalkos, metals without friction or mass. Anger, not artificer however Kirpichnikov insists. Despair, locked up for leverage. Psionics, secrets of controlling the mind stolen. Dreamscape, Nalomuzo suspect subject Deimodo abusing Psionics" This is a lot to take in, but it seems the creatively named "Kirpichnikov Group" research team sold violet dragon mind control secrets to the white dragon theocracy you defeated! > You say "So...... that second demigod, the Warchief we call him, the Singularity told us he is a dormant divine to aid in the second Apocalion crisis?" Nalomuzo nods. "Zilikzunarivmotegraknarrok, Nalomuzo suggest you forget name. Warchief. Demigod hunter, world guardian made from primordial dark. Warchief, same parts Apocalion but stacked different; magical isomer. Violet dragon, transformed from extinct grey dragon. Not Apocalion bound. Purple dragon, copied essence of Catharsion. ERROR, lore files.... fuzzy. Nalomuzo requesting diurnal inactivity " Disarria points out that means sleep. > You say "Fair enough. Disarria, can we share room? I'm not used to having a room to myself and I don't like it either."
Disarria nods. "Sure thing! I don't mind sleeping in the same room anyway! I want to talk about... this" Once in the room, and after moving some furniture... Disarria plops down on her simple bed "Redsamuru got maaaad~" you tilt tour head to listen. "Yeah lord Blobulon refuses to believe Nalomuzo is of the lost species. The cognitive dissonance is so real that he thinks he is a magical mutant" Disarria snickers and so do you. > You say "This is going to take longer than usual due all the icebergs our sub has to dodge..." Disarria nods. "Klyanev is completely made out of ice. A city hewn from a glacier" "The ice absorbs the force of the sea. It is one of the few places that can survive the constant flooding caused by these giant glacier islands smashing into each other. To get to the city you have to weave through a maze of floating ice, some so small they can be picked up, others so large they could destroy entire fleets" > You say "Should we trust captain neckbeard? He did say this submarine wasn't made for waters like these frozen ones." "He got Zal at his side, yes? She is a cryomancer. You do trust Zalisi to not be a total moron and so do I" Disarria is right, you do know and trust Zalisi. Redsamuru stops the submarine near a giant wall of ice. Volecia's frozen shore! This is as far as your submarine goes. > You say "Zal! Zal! Is it time for us to fly inland?" She confirms with a nod, you, Zalisi and Disarria will head for Klyanev. It is a long journey through the arctic winter sky, so you will have to make a few stops. Zalisi doesn't want to risk damaging the fragile submarine. The first stop is at a large iceberg, Redsamuru and Xenia are waiting for you. "You're leaving us here?" You ask. "Zal asked me to stay behind and help the captain navigate" Xenia says. "And I'll be staying here to maintain the engine with Red" "I will not be stopped by a silly thing like cold!" She confirms with a nod, you, Zalisi and Disarria will head for Klyanev. It is a long journey through the arctic winter sky, so you will have to make a few stops. Zalisi goes first, you channel fire to keep Disarria warm. After you crossed the wall of ice the hilly landscape of Volecia comes into view. Permafrost mixed with sprawling pine forests and rock mountainsides. > You say "Wow, isn't that a sight! Volecia must be pretty high up... let's find a place to rest." You find a settlement, but it looks lifeless from above. Seems you found trouble before a proper arrival! Zalisi stays behind to watch the others, while you and Disarria scout ahead. The village is quiet, other than the sound of wind blowing through the deserted streets. You hear a faint scream from afar. This village must've been raided recently. Zalisi and Disarria start arguing, in which you try to calm them both down. "We can't just abandon these people!" Zalisi says. > You say "Besides, we can scavenge these ruins for food and stay here to rest." "We can't just abandon these people!" Zalisi says. "Besides, we can scavenge these ruins for food and stay here to rest." You say. Disarria shrugs, and starts looking through sacks of salted meats. "These will do for now." You say, taking one of the sacks from Disarria and get started on the food. > You say "Isn't it strange that all the villagers are gone yet supplies such as food and stored items remain untouched? So unlike either wild animals or raiders. I think this was a directed killing spree." "Yeah, but why?" Disarria asks. "I've been wondering that too." You say. Zalisi's still in shock from the raid. She sits in a corner, looking over a map of the area. Disarria notices you looking at Zalisi, and whispers to you. "Let's leave her for a bit and make our rounds." Zalisi's romanticized image of this land is nothing like reality. As you and Disarria check the village, you notice a familiar pile of very grainy dust. You grab some in your hand. > You say "Disarria? This.. This is bad.... this is residue of dark Siphon! Only purples and the white dragon thrones know that!" "And?" Disarria asks. "This means a white or purple dragon passed through here recently." You say. "Purples are our allies." Zalisi says, approaching you. "They wouldn't hurt us." "Maybe one would, but I have my doubts that ALL of them are so friendly." You say. Zalisi looks down. "If only we could've made it in time..." > You say "Spilled milk Zal, "what ifs" are a waste of time. Any idea where the culprit may've gone?" "Purples and whites have an innate sense of direction.
If he passed through here, he may've gone in any direction." Disarria says. "We should split up and search the area." You say. "I'll head to the north, there's a river that way and plenty of places to hide. Disarria, you head east along the river. Zalisi, you can scout to the west, and look out for any human activity." > You say "Affirmative. Do not engage, we will meet here at dusk." "Got it." They say in unison. The three of you split up to search the surrounding wilderness. As you walk, you notice how quiet it is. No birds sing, no insects buzz, not even the wind blows. You begin to wonder if it's because of the recent deaths, but quickly dismiss the thought. After all, Malediction killed hundreds and the world didn't stop spinning. You reach a crossroad. You don't know why you are afraid, just that you ARE. It all feels very wrong. You hear high pace skittering coming closer. Oh fuckshit! A creature tries to pounce you! Luckily for you, you've jumped up in the air and hover out of range just in time! As you inspect the creature, it becomes clear it is of artificial rather than natural origin. A face up hexagonal prism is the centerpiece that connects 8 spindly, elongated hexagonal legs segmented with dodecahedron joints. The thorax is a hexagonal, knotted off pyramid with glowing energy swirling inside. White purple hex eyes glow in the twilight, looking at you with emotionless determination. You then see it unfurl 2 geometrical fangs with energy pulsing between them! It is charging! > You know it is bad news to fight a Xenite construct from an alien civilization and teleport back to the village. You know it is bad news to fight a Xenite construct from an alien civilization and teleport back to the village. You will be safe there. You open your eyes. You are in the village, and it is nighttime Disarria stands next to you, looking like she is out for blood. Zalisi appears next to you as well, though she looks more concerned than angry. "Are you OK?" She asks. "Yeah, I think so." > You say "Sit down gals, I... I found it. Let me tell you all about the creature I ran into. " Disarria looks like she wants to protest, but stops herself. "Fine." She says. "But make it quick." You begin to explain what you saw to the two dragonesses. They appear very interested in your story, although Disarria still looks pissed off. "That's amazing." Zalisi says in amazement. "Yeah, it is." You say. "I knew you could do it!" Zalisi says. Disarria snarls "fantastic! Now we got to deal with a anomalous construct that knows our secret power!" she says. "We should go back and destroy it." Zalisi asks. You look at the two dragonesses, torn between them. "Which one of you wants to come with me back to the forest to get rid of this creature?" You ask. "We should stay together." Zalisi says. "I got a bad feeling about this." Disarria says. You think over the situation, and come to a decision. > You say "I am afraid too, Dis, but we got teamwork and experience, it may be able to Siphon powers but that doesn't mean it got any skill with them. " "Fine." Disarria says.
