Jace:

The only things Arana seemed able to remember was being told to protect the pouch with her life. I sighed and said softly "Thanks for trying Arana. I guess I'll have to try and figure everything out on my own." She smiled sadly and said "Sorry I couldn't be more help." I grinned and shrugged it off then handed her the pouch and said "Well I gotta get back to my room and grab my clothes, then I'm going to battle the gym leader of this place. When that's all done I guess I'll come back to talk to you." She nodded and as I went to shake her hand she grabbed mine and kissed it then said something I didn't quite catch or understand. She let go of my hand and I walked back to my room with Nurse Joy following me closely trying to make sure I didn't hurt myself.

When I got back to the room I could tell the girls were pissed as all hell, since Rory, Flame, and Steve were pinned against the wall by several sets of claws and had attacks pointed at them. I blinked and said "Girls it's alright, I just went to check on the girl I brought in earlier." They dropped the guys then glanced at Nurse Joy who nodded and tackled me knocking me flat on my back. I blinked and said "I'm really getting tired of every time I leave a room, I get tackled when I come back." Dusk growled and said softly "Because ninety percent of the time when you leave you come back with some kind of injury. Of that ninety percent half the time you end up near death." I smiled innocently and kept my thoughts on that particular matter to myself. They got off me and I walked into the room and got dressed then headed back to the hotel to grab the rest of our gear. Tomorrow was Maya's contest so I decided today would be the day that I challenged Misty. I stretched out as I walked, wondering how we were going to beat Misty without much trouble.

When we got to our room I grabbed my stuff then headed downstairs. I sat down across from the hotel for a few minutes. Afterward I paced thinking about how best to use Rianna, Blood Claw, and Dusk to their fullest potential and end the battle quickly. I decided I'd ask Dusk what moves she knew and go from there, same for Rianna. I opened my pokedex and went over Blood Claws information as I paced. I smiled slightly as I saw that if I bought him a tm for Thunder he'd be able to use it. With that in mind I walked to the pokemart and purchased some tm's. I sighed softly as I thought about how things would go then stretched and muttered "Wonder if this tm will really help Blood Claw finish the fight that much sooner."

As soon as I said his name Blood Claw walked up and studied the tm's. He snickered when he saw the thunder one and said "I'm guessing you want me to learn that?" I nodded and he said "Alright, but only because without it you don't stand a chance of beating Misty." I raised an eyebrow and said "What are you afraid of losing to a bunch of fish?" Blood Claw ignored my comment and motioned for me to attach the tm. I sighed and picked it up then placed it on his shoulder and pressed the button. He let out a yowl as it injected a strange serum into his shoulder. I pulled it off when it was empty then tossed it in a trash bin. Blood Claw looked at me questioningly and I said "Go ahead and use thunder on me to test it out. may as well get used to shit like this for when we try catching more pokemon."

He nodded and closed his eyes as he started concentrating. I could feel the electric current building around him and thought about telling him to stop, then decided to let him blast me and find out just how strong the blast would be. As the energy started getting to a critical point Blood Claw opened his eyes and growled deeply. His irises glowed with an inner golden light and yellow lines streaked through the whites of his eyes. I shivered and said "Blood Claw use thunder now." He nodded and let out a high pitched yowl and a lightning bolt shot into the air then came down and struck me in the chest sending me back a good ten feet. My vision started getting bleary, so I closed my eyes and focused on keeping my heart beating after how strong that shock was. Blood Claw walked over and sat down staring at me then licked his paws and said "The simple fact you're still alive after a shock like that, means more than most people could possibly imagine. To me, it means that you're meant to be my trainer. So I'll listen to your commands, but only for this one battle."

I nodded and coughed up a slight trickle of blood then climbed to my feet and dusted off. I mumbled "Prof lied when he said that an electric shock isn't that big a deal the first time." Blood Claw snickered and the two of us walked back to the pokemon center to get the girls. Rianna and Dusk were sitting outside yawning and everyone else was inside conversing with stantler and our new dragonair friend. I smiled slightly and said to Blood Claw "You get the girls, I'll go challenge Misty." He yawned and did as I requested with a flick of his tail, while I ran off to the cerulean gym. As soon as I walked through the door a tall elegant young woman sighed and said "Great, another kid who doesn't know a thing about battling trying to challenge me."

I growled softly and said "A. I'm not a kid. B. I'm not a novice to battles. C. I'm going to kick your Arrogant ass into a tank to cool down after my pokemon kick your pokemon's asses." She laughed softly and said "You're a vulgar guy, I'll give you that. Can you back up your words with your pokemon?" I smiled and said "They will back me up, as soon as they get here." The doors to the gym suddenly burst open and the three I'd chosen to fight Misty were standing there looking intimidating. Rianna had an aura sphere, which she'd obviously already used one to blow open the doors, Blood Claw had electricity arcing all over him, and Dusk had a shadow ball charged up in her mouth ready to fight.

I smiled darkly and said "Rianna you first." She jumped in front of me with a nod then smiled at misty and made a "Bring it on." gesture. Misty sighed and tossed out her kingdra who anyone who'd read about her knew had once been a horsey. I grind darkly and said "This is going to be interesting." Rianna nodded slowly and I said " Release your aura sphere on kingdra as soon as it tries to surface." She nodded and stretched out slowly, then charged another aura sphere and held it over her head. I blinked and noticed it seem to keep shifting. I shook my head and ignored it, instead focusing on our next move if Rianna's attack didn't work out. Suddenly Kingdra surfaced and shot a hydropump at Rianna, who jumped out of the way and slammed her aura sphere into Kingdra's back." It let out a high pitch scream of pain, and Rianna used a bone rush attack to hit it in the head. It sunk under water to get away from her and I yelled "Rianna get back to the platform." She nodded and used an aura pulse to land back on the platform in front of me.

She smiled at me and I smiled back then blinked as Kingdra suddenly came up and blasted Rianna into the wall. I growled softly as she slowly climbed back to her feet. I raised an eyebrow and she said "I'm alright, a little bruised but otherwise just fine." I nodded thinking then said "Use aura pulse to send Sea King in the air, then jump up and blast him with an aura sphere, before finishing with a bone club to his face." She nodded slowly seeming to like my idea then said "Great, however I think I'll make sure the bone club sends him onto a platform, and finish it with an aura pulse." I grinned at the idea, motioning for her to have at it. She grinned rushing forward and slammed an aura pulse into the water sending it flying into the air, along with Kingdra who growled in irritation and tried to dive back under. Rianna jumped up and slammed an aura pulse into it's back sending it flying higher then used agility to get above it, and slammed a bone rush into it's head. This ended up knocking it onto a platform where it tried to get to the water.

Rianna charged an aura sphere as she fell toward it then slammed it into it's stomach causing it to spit up a bit of blood and pass out from the pain. I motioned for her to come back over as Misty returned Kingdra. She sighed and said softly "Nice try Kingdra, I should have known you wouldn't be ready to take on a Lucario who seemed like she couldn't lose." She put the pokeball on her belt then pulled off another one and tossed out her dewgong which let out a drawn out "Dew gong goooooooooong." I blinked and said "Dusk you're turn." She nodded and stepped forward then glanced at me with love in her eyes. I smiled at her and knelt down to run my hands over Rianna, who'd moved next to me after her fight, and check for any wounds. When I didn't find any, I started scratching her ears to let her know just how much I appreciated her help. She leaned into it with a soft sigh then mumbled something I didn't quite catch. Suddenly Dusk let out a soft huff to catch my attention and I sighed. Rianna quickly hopped to her feet and I slowly followed suit.

Dusk snorted in irritation then turned to face Dewgong with a look that screamed 'I'm going to destroy you!'. I shivered at the thought and said "Dusk start with roar." She nodded as she opened her mouth and let out a piercing roar, that caused Rianna to dive behind me and sent shivers down my spine. Dewgong dived under water seeming scared and I said softly "Nice job Dusk, now how about when Dewgong gets close you use thunder fang." She nodded and charged electricity in her mouth watching the water all around her. I knew that unlike many water types Dewgong was almost completely immune to ice type attacks. I also knew that fire type atttacks wouldn't work so I was going through my pokedex looking for anything that might help out. Suddenly Misty said "Dewgong use aurora beam." Dusk and I both blinked then I yelled "DUSK IT'S BEHIND YOU, USE AGILITY TO DODGE IT." She nodded and jumped out of the way growling softly . However Misty seemed to have planned for this and said "Now Dewgong attack." Dewgong's attack hit Dusk midway between two platforms so there was no chance for her to dodge. I winced and said softly "I hope she is ok after an attack of that strong a caliber." Dusk slowly surfaced and shook her head with a burn mark on her side and I whistled softly. She quickly climbed onto a platform and looked at me for instructions. I said "Substitution, then prepare to use bite."

She nodded and vanished in a puff of smoke as the substitute appeared. I rubbed my shoulder as pain started to spread throughout it and wondered if Dusk's forelegs were bothering her. Suddenly Dewgong attacked the substitute with horn drill and Dusk bit down on it's neck. Misty smiled as if she knew this was going to happen and said "Dewgong go as deep as you can. Let's see how long the puppy can hold her breath." Dewgong nodded as the pain started to spread, then swam down to the bottom of the pool growling deeply. I blinked and cursed softly realizing that Dusk wouldn't hear any commands I gave her as long as they were underwater. As the two went down I saw that Dusk was biting harder and harder on Dewgong and shaking her head turning the water slightly crimson. I blinked and mumbled "Now it all depends on whether Dewgong's blood loss is going to go faster than Dusk running out of breath. Either way I have a feeling I'm going in the water after a pokemon." Misty saw the crimson stain of the water and said "Did you plan on her tying to kill my pokemon?"

I slowly shook my head and said "No, I didn't think she'd start tearing Dewgong up like that, but I think the pain in her side is making her act wilder than usual." Misty slowly nodded and said "I guess now we play the waiting game." I nodded slowly and Rianna said "Dusk isn't going to make it." I raised an eyebrow causing her to explain "Dusk's energy is rapidly failing. That hit caused more damage than she'd like to admit, while Dewgong's aura is glowing with half the intensity it originally had. Meaning it's got a while to go unless Dusk does something drastic." I looked at Misty and said "You win this round." then dived into the water and swam down to where Dusk and Dewgong were at the bottom seeming to try and fight. I pulled them apart then slipped Dusk on my back and dragged Dewgong to the surface. They looked at me and I said "Misty won this round, because I just couldn't stand to see you guys hurt each other anymore." Dusk nuzzled my cheek then passed out." I pushed her over to Rianna who started using her aura to heal her, then swam Dewgong back to Misty who returned it.

I swam back to the girls and Blood Claw who'd walked up then said softly "It's up to you Blood Claw." He nodded then sauntered over to the platform and let out a yowl of challenge. Misty blinked and said "Interesting choice, I can't wait to see how this round turns out." before tossing out her Staryu. My pokedex recorded the info, then suddenly shut down. I looked at it carefully then shook my head and focused on the battle at hand. Misty smiled and said "Staryu blast it with water gun to start things up." I smiled and said "Blood Claw dodge, then go after them with a simple furry swipes." He nodded then rushed forward dodging the water gun and slashed Staryu's ruby with fury swipes. I laughed at the look on Misty's face as Blood Claw sliced open Staryu's ruby then Blood Claw bit down on it and started shaking his head like mad. Misty sighed and said "Staryu use swift on that annoying cat."

Staryu let out a loud "Yu" noise and blasted Blood Claw knocking him back then dived in the water to heal. I looked at Blood Claw and said "Use thunder on the water and finish this." Blood Claw nodded and closed his eyes then started building electricity around him. He put one paw in the water then released his thunder attack like it was nothing. I winced as I felt the electricity in the air, while Rianna and Dusk said "He won." I nodded and returned him to his ball then looked at Misty who quickly returned Staryu. She hopped across the water and stood in front of me holding out her hand. I grabbed and shook it slowly smiling a bit self consciously. She studied me then said "I never learned your name, mister vulgarity."

I blinked and mumbled "My name is Jace Shadows. I owe you an apology, for my attitude, but I felt you were looking down on me and my team. I hope you'll accept my apology." Misty smiled and said "I'll accept your apology on one condition, and that condition is, you take my little sister with you on your journey. She's just like me when I was a kid, and probably can't wait to go out and see what people are like outside the city. So, do you accept my condition?" I shrugged and said "Allow me to meet her first, then I'll decide." She nodded and yelled behind her "Kira, why don't you come out and watch our conversation in person."

A young girl who was maybe two years younger than me walked up and said "Hey Sis, what do you want?" Misty smiled softly then said "Kira I want you to travel with Jace. He's on a pokemon journey that will probably take him all over, and I know you've been waiting for a chance to get away from home." Kira blinked then stared at her confused. Misty smiled and said "I left on a journey with a young boy when I was a kid, so I feel you should have the chance to do so. Plus I doubt mom would complain to have you out from under foot. You can take two of the gym's pokemon with you, but after that it's up to you how big your team becomes." She nodded and Misty said "Have fun, and if you guys meet a guy named Ash, or if you see Brock. Tell them I said hi." I nodded and sat down next to the girls as Kira asked "Do you really mean it Misty? I get to go on a pokemon journey instead of sitting here at the gym watching you take on challenger after challenger?"

Misty nodded and Kira jumped into the air yelling out in happiness. I smiled watching her and Misty mumbled "Such a little girl at times." Suddenly she handed me the cascade badge and said "Good luck on the rest of your jouney." I smiled saying thanks for a wonderful battle and accepting my challenge.", then I snickered softly and said "What you never acted like a kid when you were a teen?" She kept silent, so I left it at that. Rianna and Dusk looked at me then mumbled "We have got way to many girls travelling with us." I heard Blood Claw laugh inside his ball then glanced at Kira and said "When you have you're stuff together meet me at the pokemon center."

She nodded, then turned and ran farther into the gym. I glanced at Rianna and Dusk then asked "Ready to go?" They nodded and got to their feet then the three of us started for the pokemon center where they could be patched up, and I could grab some supplies. As soon as we left the gym I called out Blood Claw again then sat down and hugged him. He looked at me surprised and I said "Thanks for everything Blood Claw. Without you we wouldn't have won."

Blood Claw raised an eyebrow and said "You're point." I smiled slightly and said "First thing I'm going to do when we get to Vermilion City is buy you an eye patch." He nodded slowly then I stood up, and the three of us started walking again. Rianna and Dusk walked ahead of Blood Claw and I, talking among themselves. When we came in sight of the pokemon center everyone ran over and tackled us. Dusk yelped as the others hit her and I just burst out laughing until my back lit up with a fire I wasn't ready for. I let out a scream of pain that caused everyone to jump off me, then rolled onto my stomach and retched up what felt like everything I'd ever eaten. The others watched me and I screamed even more as my back suddenly opened up and wings burst out. Then I felt ice spread to the base of my spine and something burst outward. I yelled in even more pain as something else burst out of the top of my skull. The others stared at me then Flame asked "When the hell did you develop dragon wings, what looks like on of a Ninetails' tails, and a Mightyena's ears?"

I slowly climbed to my feet then shrugged and said "I don't know what you're talking about." He raised an eyebrow and said "Try standing up how you normally do, instead of adjusting to the new weight." I did as he asked and nearly fell on my face. I looked at him confused and Dusk said "Jace you look like you've adapted to the forms of multiple pokemon, and fused them to your own. It's the same way you looked last night before talking with that monster from Theus's group." I nodded slowly and stretched out then the others said "Can you get rid of the extra appendages?" I nodded slowly and focused then winced as the tail, ears, and wings pulled back into my body. The others watched then said "Why is your pokedex glowing?" I glanced down and pulled it out then my pokedex said "Unidentified user . This system is shutting down. When original user returns, this system will reboot."

My pokedex shut down and I stared at it then started shaking it mumbling curses under my breath. Flame and Shadara just sat there laughing at the look on my face while the others started discussing what we needed to do next. Suddenly we all heard the sounds of a giant group of people coming up. I stopped and looked at the others then said "You don't think that's team rocket, do you?" The others just shrugged while Rory and Maya asked "How do you know team rocket." I explained my last time of meeting the infamous organization then checked to make sure my pokeballs were empty and looked at the others.

They looked back and I said "Rory, Maya, I need you two to summon all of your pokemon. After that we'll be as ready as we can be. Tell them to use whatever they think they need to do to defend themselves and us." They nodded and Maya threw out her team, who I'd yet to meet, then Rory tossed out a single gyarados that seemed a bit lost as to why it was there. Rory smiled and said "Gyara, I want you to help me out by stopping team rocket alongside everyone else." Gyara nodded then charged up a hyper beam as the first group of rocket grunts walked up. I blinked as I noticed a juggler and a few others who weren't dressed in the usual Rocket attire. I pulled out my wooden sword and Nika grabbed hold of Slayer who swore softly. The rocket team suddenly tossed out all of their pokemon and the battle was under way. Nika skipped the pokemon and went straight for their trainers, while the rest of us went for knock outs with each pokemon. I winced as a machop got past my guard and sent me flying with a karate chop to the stomach.

As I climbed to my feet I noticed that Silver, Rianna, and Dusk were pissed. They sent attacks throughout the pokemon sending several Raticates, Fearows, and Golbats flying. Suddenly Blood Claw used thunder and shocked half of them. Flame just smiled and formed an iron tail attack then said "One for the money, Two for the show. Three to see them go." and sent them through the wall of the church. I winced in sympathy then rushed forward and got into a fight with a scyther. I was surprised and mumbled "Scyther's just don't seem to like me." then the two of us started fighting like mad. We got so lost in our personal battle neither of us noticed that the rest of the fighting was starting to draw to a close. Suddenly I saw an opening that if I fucked up would cause me to lose, and took it. I thrust the wooden blade forward through Scyther's guard and slammed it into his stomach, then his bladed hands came down cutting it in half. I sighed and muttered "Ha I win you bastard." Scyther fell down and I looked up to see everyone else was already done. I blinked and said "Ok, so maybe I took a little while, but can you blame me?" The others just shook their heads and walked into the center to check on Stantler, Arana, and Aluina who'd been injured while we were gone.

I followed them slowly after taking the team rocket's members pokeballs and returning their pokemon. When I got in I handed the pokeballs to nurse joy and said "Nurse Joy those pokemon are members of team rocket. Their trainers are outside, so I suggest you call Officer Jenny, or whoever is in charge of law enforcement." She smiled in appreciation for letting her know, then picked up the phone and called the police. As soon as I was sure Nurse Joy was going to get the cops I followed the others to Arana, Stantler, and Aluina's rooms. I stopped in Stantler's room first and pulled out an empty pokeball. He smiled at me and said "Finally." I nodded and tossed it at him causing it to catch him. The ball shook once then the glow faded. I picked it up and said softly "Yes, Stantler joined our team and is going to help us out." Then I walked into Aluina's room where everyone else was waiting for me.

I raised an eyebrow as I walked in and said "So what happened to you Aluina?" Aluina smiled sheepishly and mumbled "I got attacked by some kid who wanted to catch me, then Flame and Shadara saved me. I feel like a fool for letting my guard down." I smiled in understanding and said "You were used to Maya, Rory, and I's laid back attitude to having free pokemon in our midst." She nodded surprised I took it so coolly then said "I'll be fine in an hour or two. Nurse Joy said that if I had a pokeball it was nothing it couldn't have cured." I nodded and stretched out then said "Great, because I have to see if my package arrived at the hotel, and I need to send some pokemon back to the prof." She nodded and I walked out to head to Arana's room.

Arana looked up as I walked in then tackled me and said "MASTER JACE YOU'VE RETURNED!!!!" I blinked and looked at the girls who were giving Arana death glares then heard Flame say "I didn't know you were into slaves Jacey boy." I glared at the evil dragon, who just laughed his tail off. Lia mumbled something about that being a good thing then Arana said "When do we leave here master, and I am going with you, right?" I nodded and said "Yes Arana you're going with us, but please just call me Jace." She nodded and slowly got off me, allowing me to climb to my feet. As I got to my feet Silver pulled them out from under me then sat on my stomach. I looked at her confused and she smiled darkly then I felt something warm spread throughout my shirt. I stared at her and said "You so didn't just mark me." She looked at me innocently then hopped up and sauntered away. Suddenly Dusk followed suit and said softly in my ear "You'll always be mine, even if you don't want me as yours." then hopped up and walked off.

I climbed to my feet and Flame stood there staring at me while Rory and Maya laughed there asses off. Arana put her arms around me and said "Master, do I get to mark you, or are you going to mark me?" I blinked and mumbled "Arana, I don't plan on marking anyone. I already told you to call me Jace, and can you please release me." She nodded and let go then waited for me to lead on. I sighed and glanced at my shirt which was sticking to me then said "Well I guess we'd best drop by the hotel so I can get my package, then I'll call the prof and mom. Then once Kira is here, and Aluina can go, we'll head on our way to Vermilion." The others nodded and followed me as I headed for the hotel. As soon as we got outside Kira ran up and said "HIYA JACE!!!!!!!" I smiled at her and said "Welcome to the team Kira. I guess I should introduce everyone." She nodded and I said "You already know me." then I put a hand on Rianna and Dusk's shoulders and said "My Lucario is Rianna, and my Mightyena is Dusk."

They bowed their heads in greeting with a simple "Hi there." Then I put my hands on Flame and Silver. I noticed Kira couldn't take her eyes off Silver and said "My Ninetails is Silver, and my Charmeleon is Flame." Flame nodded in greeting and Silver said "Charmed to meet you, and you feel likewise I'm sure." Rika nodded slowly in response and I yawned then put my hands on Maya and Lia's shoulders. I smiled and said "This is my coordinator friend Maya, and her Zangoose Lia." They said hi to each other and I put a hand on Rory and my other on Shadara who was sitting on his shoulder and said "This is my dragon Shadara, and my best friend Rory. Rory's training to be a breeder." He smiled at her and waved while Shadara just nodded. I sat down and put a hand on Blood Claw then called out Shelda and said "This is my Bagon Shella, and my Persian Blood Claw." They both nodded in greeting and Kira smiled.

I stood up and said "Last but not least are the Lady Nika, her blade Slayer, and I guess that's everybody except Stantler, Arana, and Aluina." Arana, Nika, and Slayer said their greetings then we all started for the hotel. As soon as I walked in I ran over to the front desk and asked "Did a package for Jace Shadows come in?" The desk manager nodded and handed me a plain leather bag with the symbol of Arceus on the front as well as a pair of crossed blades, and an egg with an X on it that reminded me of Thorian's robe. I blinked and put it over my shoulders then walked with Maya and Lia to the contest arena. I mumbled to May as we walked "Sorry about nearly forgetting your contest, how long do you think this will be?" She shrugged and said "It's a small contest so, probably only two or three hours at most." I nodded and bought tickets for everyone then wished her and Lia luck as they went into the contestant's chambers. We sat down in the front row and kira asked "Are you going out with Maya?" I shook my head and said "No she's just traveling with me, however I promised I'd watch her contest."

She nodded and leaned back as the first contestant came out and did a beautiful display with his Roselia. We all clapped appreciatively and I mumbled "Looks like contests are harder than I thought." Silver nodded and said "Yeah, but I'd still like to enter one." I nodded in understanding and she laid her head in my lap. I laughed softy and went back to watching the next couple of contestants. After about ten minutes Lia and Maya walked on stage. Instead of the flashy entrance of most contestant's pokemon Lia just acted calm and relaxed.

The two of them did an elegant pattern then the judges announced those moving onto the next round. Maya's name was the first one, then a few others. Her opponent was a kid from Pewter city and I mumbled "Man he's going to be tough to beat. His onyx's attacks were dead on, and very creative." Silver and Rianna nodded while Dusk just said "I think Maya's planned ahead for just such an occasion." I nodded and leaned back to watch since they had the first battle.

Maya summoned out a Gyarados who's scales were a deep sea green. and had silver whiskers. I blinked and mumbled "Wonderful way to start off." The others nodded then her opponent summoned a crystal Golem. I blinked and mumbled "Now this is going to be interesting." The others nodded and we watched as the two let off perfectly coordinated attacks trying to cause their opponent to slip up. Finally Maya won with by her Gyarados using a dragon rage attack that turned into a blue heart as it burned her opponent knocking out his style points. I whistled softly and mumbled "Wonder if that could be changed to make it more dangerous." Flame nodded understanding my thoughts and thinking something similar.

The next couple of contestants battles flew by, but one where the person used a black Ninetails caught my attention. I watched the battle for a while then mumbled "Fur dye." Silver nodded and nuzzled her head deeper into my lap. I sighed then went back to watching the battles as they continued. The second round passed by in a blur and it finally came down to Maya and the boy with the Roselia. Dusk suddenly said "Maya's going to win by default. He's going to forfeit, because he refuses to fight her." I stared at her then heard the announcer say the same thing and blinked confused.

I decided to ignore it and all of us ran to congratulate Maya who was smiling exuberantly holding up her new ribbon. She was a good winner though and told everyone she hoped to go against them again, and that next time it was at the ribbon cup. Then she and Lia rushed over to us. Lia tackled me and hugged me then jumped up looking embarrassed, while Maya hugged Rory and mumbled something in his ear. He smiled really big then Lia mumbled "Sorry Jace." I smiled to let her know no harm no foul, then suddenly Aluina ran up and said "So, it's time to go, right?" I nodded and climbed to my feet then started for the part of town that led to Vermilion City.

When we got to the edge of the city I saw a flaming silhouette of a bird fly across the sky and said "Guys I know who I want to track down first." Everyone looked at me and I said "I want to track down Moltres, then Articuno, then Zaptos." The others started to ask why so I quickly explained "I just have a feeling Moltres is my best target for first. Also, I saw a silhouette in the sky that made me think of it." The others sighed then said "Alright we'll help you track down Moltres, but first we need to get to Vermilion city." I nodded and said "Yeah, and shit I gotta call the prof and send Stantler back to him." I ran back into town to the pokemon center with everyone else in tow. When we got to the center I saw a bunch of police cars parked out front and shivered mumbling "I've got a bad feeling about this." The others nodded and I said "I'll meet you guys at camp, just head out of town, and like I just said I'll meet you at camp." They nodded and ran off while I pulled out Stantler's ball and walked into the pokemon center.

As soon as I walked in Nurse Joy said "There he is officer, the boy who reported them." Officer Jenny walked over and said "Hello young man, can you tell me what happened earlier." I shrugged and explained about my two run ins with team rocket and how I'd given the second groups' pokemon to Nurse Joy. She nodded and handed Officer Jenny the pokeballs then the two started talking. I walked over to the pc while they were busy and called the Doc. He answered on the first ring and said "Ah, Jace. Good to see you've gotten you're package."

I nodded and said "Yeah I did Doc, thanks. Now I have a few questions to ask and a pokemon to send your way." Doc nodded and said "Fire away my young apprentice." I sent him Stantler then said "Doc my pokedex isn't working right, what do I do?" He raised an eyebrow and said "What's it saying?" I explained and he said "Interesting, why would it say that?" I explained about my changes and he said "Hmm, that may be it. You'll have to manually reprogram it." I raised an eyebrow and said "How." He went into a long detailed explanation and I wrote it all down then said "So I need tools?" He nodded and I said "Thanks doc." He smiled and hung up then I did the same.

I turned around to see that Officer Jenny was studying me. I yawned and said "What do you need me for Officer Jenny?" She smiled and said "I need a statement, then my cousin will see you in the next town with something new." I nodded and stretched then said "Ok this is what happened." I explained everything for a full ten minutes then ended with "And so we left the pokeballs with Nurse Joy and I had her call you guys." Officer Jenny nodded and said "Thank you for your time Jace. I guess my cousin will see you in Vermilion City." I nodded and walked out then ran to catch up to the others on the road between Vermilion and Cerulean city.

I ran for a good three or four hours before I saw smoke rising in the air. I followed it to a campsite, which sadly wasn't my friends. It was a group of junior trainers on a trip into the woods. I quickly apologized for interrupting them, and crashing their fire. Then I walked back to the road and continued looking for the others. After a while I ran into a Venonat and a couple of Venomoth. I ran away from them like mad, since all my team were with the others at the campsite, wherever it was. I lost them after about twenty minutes of running, and falling down a hill into a pond. I surfaced and found myself face to face with a group of Poliwhirls. I blinked and said slowly "Nice Poliwhirl, no reason to attack me. I was just leaving." I slowly got out of the pond and backed up the hill with one of them following me at every step. I looked at it and asked "Can I help you with something?"

It nodded and said "Do you mind if I travel with you?" I blinked and said "Why?" He shrugged and said "Because I want to be able to do more than sit in a pond." I shrugged and pulled out a pokeball then threw it at him catching him. The ball shook a few times then stopped and I picked it up. I studied it and said "Well this is an odd way to become a pokemon master. Half the time I end up getting pokemon without originally intending to." I heard someone laugh nearby and decided it was time to high tail it out of there, and started running down the road. I stopped at another fire and finally found everyone sitting around and discussing some stuff. I walked up and grabbed a plate of stew off the stove then sat down against a tee and dug in. Rory smiled and said "Not quite as good as you're stuff, but I figured you'd be tired when you got back. So what happened." I explained slowly between bites then got another plate as I finished talking and eating.

I devoured my second plate in a matter of minutes then grabbed a bottle of water and chugged it down. Everyone laughed at the way I was eating then I explained what happened on the road. The guys and Maya laughed while most of the girls stared at me as if surprised I didn't fight. I shrugged and said "It was fight or flight, and I didn't want to hurt any pokemon so I chose flight." The girls smiled proud of me and Flame said "Idiot, we could use a bigger team." I raised an eyebrow and said "Not without my legendaries forsaken pokedex fixed." Flame mumbled something under his breath then curled up and went to bed. I grabbed out my sleeping bag and set my stuff down then walked off looking for a good spot to sleep. Silver and Rianna followed me while Dusk laid next to my stuff curled up. Everyone picked their own spots and went to sleep in their own fashion. Arana followed Silver and Rianna mumbling under her breath.

I glanced over my shoulder at the three of them and mumbled under my breath wondering if things were going to get even stranger before the night was out. As I started to lay down I felt the burning and icy sensations spreading again and prepared for the worst. However contrary to my expectations there was no pain, just a slight feeling of relaxation and pleasure. Suddenly the feeling spread to my groin and I twisted to be on all fours as my body reacted. The girls saw me moving and rushed over to see what was happening. This time my changes and my clothes didn't agree. My ears pushed my hat off my head, my tail cut a hole in my pant, and my wings burst out of my back shredding the back of my shirt. I sighed and mumbled "Well there goes one of my favorite shirts. "

The girls studied me then Arana said "I think I like the improvement, although his wings are.... interesting." I raised an eyebrow and mumbled "Interesting how?" Arana smiled and said "They are like a dragon's wings except for in coloring. They're black and crimson instead of blue and yellow, pure orange, or blue and red." I yawned and stretched then glanced down at my pants and mumbled "Well at least it's just the one hole rather than a few dozen." Suddenly more heat had spread to my tail and I thought "I shouldn't have said anything. That'll teach me to keep my mouth shut." Suddenly the heat went down my tail then came back and branched out from the base. I shivered and cursed softly then slowly sat down. The girls studied me and Rianna said "Mightyena ears, dragon type wings, and a Ninetails' tails. Why no Lucario traits?" I shrugged and said "Do you think I wanted to suddenly change?"

She shook her head then studied my face and said "Have you always had dark regions around your eyes?" I blinked and said "What do you mean dark regions around my eyes?" She shrugged and I let the matter drop then slowly laid on my back with a yawn. Suddenly Silver, Rianna, and Arana started arguing among themselves about who got to do something, but I was to tired to take notice until Silver let out a yip that spoke volumes. I blinked and muttered "I don't like the sound of that yip, especially since Arana and Rianna are walking away and arguing among themselves." I sighed and sat up only to be tackled by Silver who said "Tonight you're all mine." I raised an eyebrow and said "Meaning?" She smiled lustfully and said "Meaning I get you to myself and the other girls can't interfere. Also meaning that they'll prevent anyone else from interfering." I blinked and said "What exactly are they preventing everyone from interfering with?"

She smiled slightly and said "How about I show you instead of telling you about it." Then she leaned forward and aggressively kissed me. Something inside me didn't like her being in charge, so I followed instinct and grabbed her neck. Then I kissed her deeply while growling softly into her mouth. my tongue sought entrance into her mouth and she obediently replied. The kiss lasted a couple of minutes with us tongue wrestling each other until I finally came out on top and we broke apart. I smiled slightly feeling my lust rise and my attraction for Silver grow. She looked at me with innocence in her eyes then pulled on what remained of my shirt and got it off me. I growled softly and pushed her onto her back then slowly started lapping at the outer lips of her labia. She whined softly as the pleasure spread then yipped when I bit the inside of her thighs. I slowly slipped my tongue in deeper and growled softly causing vibrations to spread throughout her already slightly we tunnel. She moaned softly, but we were far enough away from the others that they didn't hear a single sound.

I smiled and pulled away from between Silver's legs then sat up. She walked over and I undid the button of my jeans, then she grabbed the zipper with her teeth and pulled it down. I slipped out of my pants and she pulled down my boxers then stared at my crotch. I raised an eyebrow and said "What's wrong she?" She shook her head and started to slowly lap between my legs causing me to start getting erect. I glanced down to see that my shaft was all, but gone. Besides that there was a bunch of hair between my legs that seemed to cover from the base of my belly button down to about mid thigh. I stared at it and mumbled "Is that what they call a sheathe?" Silver nodded then slowly wrapped her muzzle around my the tip of my shaft, then bathed it in saliva and stated to suckle on it. I growled and thrust into her mouth as more of my sheathe emerged. She held still and let me thrust a few more times then put a paw on me to hold me still as she slowly moved her head up and down my shaft, and wrapped her tongue around it.

I shivered at the feeling and mumbled under my breath then leaned back and yipped as one of her teeth touched my shaft. I pulled out of her mouth and she got on all fours then pulled her tail out of the way and offered her now dripping sex to my rampant cock. I growled softly and grasped her around the waist, then lined my shaft up, and thrust forward hard. I barely missed my mark, so I thrust again this time aiming a little higher. I felt something soft and wet cover my shaft and slowly started pushing forward. I stopped when I felt something blocking the way forward then pulled back, and thrust forward breaking through and touching yet another barrier. I stopped and waited for Silver to adjust then started to slowly thrust in and out. My pre, her juices, and my saliva making the process smoother and less painful. Suddenly Silver started thrusting back against me in time with my thrusts forward. We both started to speed up as she got more adjusted to my size. Suddenly I felt something swelling at the base of my cock, and started trying desperately to thrust the entire thing into Silver on instinct.

After a few minutes I felt it slip inside of her and swell. I blinked and mumbled "That was odd." then tried pulling out. Silver yipped in pain so I stopped and instead went back to thrusting forward. She moaned with each sharp thrust then yipped as the tip of my shaft suddenly passed her cervix. I blinked feeling more room and started thrusting harder and faster growling softly. Then I suddenly bit down on Silvers neck and thrust one last time before releasing deep into her womb. I tried to pull out and She yipped so I just stopped and kept shooting rope after rope of seed deep into her womb. I rolled onto my side and Silver curled up next to me seeming sated. I sighed and mumbled "Well looks like I fucked yet another one of my pokemon. Does this make me abnormal?" As we were connected I suddenly saw that Silver was starting to shift like Dusk had. Her fur was moving, her muzzle shrank inward, her eyes lost a bit of their slanted look, and her top pair of breast grew while the others vanished. I blinked and mumbled "Wow, now Silver's changed. Does it have to do with me, or Shadara?"

Even as Silver and Jace mated the councilor known as Daven and a figure covered in a deep Blue cloak stood in a hallway speaking about him and his friends. Daven smiled darkly and said "Make sure that if you get the boy, you don't harm him. Just follow him and make sure he doesn't fall for that full Theus's lies." The figure nodded and said in a voice like freshly turned earth "I'll do as you command Councilor, but if anything happens to the boy or his companions I can't be blamed." Daven nodded and said "Just make sure you cost none of them their lives, or we're all doomed." The figure nodded slowly and continued "As you wish my lord. I Darkus Maxim, will track the boy, and when the time is right capture him so you may question him."

Daven nodded and watched as Darkus Maxim vanished into the shadows then turned and walked out into the sunlight. He took a deep breath and said softly "I wonder if those fools who worship Arceus realize that Theus isn't their only problem. If not, then maybe capturing the boy and blaming it on the followers of Theus, will make my master's plan come to fruition that much sooner. However for it to truly work I have to make sure both Theus and Arceus hate each other when they arrive in this world. That means finding the boy and his counterpart, if there is one, and making them both learn to hate each other."

Daven laughed darkly and pulled the hood of his robe up then walked into a glowing green portal that appeared out of nowhere. Unbeknownst to him, a small green figure watched from the shadows alongside a pink orb. The creature in the orb and the green figure looked at each other then nodded and went their separate ways. Each of them had their own plan on how to stop the treacherous Daven, and make sure that the ancients plan worked. For without that, the doom the ancients had prophesized would indeed come to pass. And that, no sane being, could allow to pass. However unbeknownst to the two pokemon the young guardian Jonas watched on and smiled slightly. He looked up and said, to a presence only he could feel, _ "My lord it appears that all of the pieces are in play. I just hope the boy doesn't succumb to temptation like poor Ron did. However if he does, maybe the guardians can draw him back." _ The presence whispered into his ear and he bowed low then said "As you command my lord."

Jonas walked up to a stone statue and whispered something that none, but a true follower of the time when pokemon and man lived as one, would know. The statue swung to the side and a torch lit passage was revealed. He slowly walked down the passage wondering about his lord's latest orders. He sighed and thought to himself "My lord isn't taking into account that the boy is untrusting most of the time. I hope Aluina can explain things to him to where he understands." He shook his head slowly and closed his eyes then sighed and opened them mumbling _ "Davia why didn't you tell Ron who your son's real father was. It would have saved him so much grief when he realized what the markings on the boy's face meant." _

While Jonas spoke to himself and prepared to follow the orders of his own lord, Thorian sat around speaking with one of his spies. The spy sighed and said "Lord Thorian the boy has regained his group of followers. Originally I thought I could keep him away, however it appears their bond with him is to strong." Thorian nodded and motione for him to continue. The spy swallowed softly and said "Well I saw the boy gained yet another member of his team. Also he has the pouch and the girl Arana. His changes have started to become out of his control. I don't know if he'll be able to adapt, however I'll keep you updated." Thorian motioned for him to leave slowly, then stretched out and popped his spine. The spy ran from the room and Thorian sighed softly then followed him out.

Thorian watched the spy run down one corridor then went down the opposite one and arrived in his master's office. His master looked at him questioningly and he said _ " My lord my spy has reported the boy is still changing. Also, it appears the children of Arceus have sent someone to tail the boy. What would you have us do about it." _ The man smiled darkly and said "Let them send their followers to watch him. It won't interfere with my plans. However I want you to keep an eye on the boy personally." Thorian nodded slowly and said " As you command my lord, however I believe the boy is onto us." The man nodded and motioned for him to leave. Thorian bowed quickly and walked out wondering what exactly his master had planned.

The man leaned back and mumbled softly "Everything is going as you originally thought it would. I'm surprised, I thought the boy would fight harder. Maybe those fools who follow Arceus didn't realize what he is, and more importantly didn't tell him the truth about the prophecy. IF not, maybe it's time we reveal that he holds the end of the world in his hands. Maybe you can show him in his dreams." The aura around the man pulsed once darkly then vanished and he nodded. He mumbled softly "As you command my lord. So shall it be." He slipped to his feet, then walked to his own room where a young Vaporeon girl awaited him. He whispered softly in her ear then motioned with his hand and a black portal appeared. He pointed and the girl walked through then he followed. He smiled as the girl laid upon an old stone altar then pulled out a knife and slammed it into her chest. He stared into the distance and said "In the name of the god of destruction and in the name of my lord Theus, as well as my lost love. I SUMMON THEE DARKUS NEXUS!!!!!!!!!!" A creature slowly appeared over the girl then stepped forward and studied him. He smiled darkly and said "Assimilate Dark Rai and reveal to Theus's heir his true destiny."
