Chapter 25 Odin's eyes widen as Miyu stood in front of him. She had stopped the glaive with her bare paws but the blade was digging into her shoulder causing her to bleed profusely as she held on to the pole with all her strength.

"What is wrong with you Ace? You should know not to take this guy alone!!" Miyu said to Ace.

Odin pushed down on her forcing her one knee.

"You're in my way." Odin growled.

Odin raised his tail and struck Miyu in the face sending her sprawling out on the ground.

"This doesn't concern you, Stay out of my way or I will have killed you as well." Odin said as he turns to face the wounded tigress.

Ace slowly began to recover from the paralysis and he weakly stood up. His eyes went bight red as the savage gene too full control. He charged at Odin but the dragon swatted him aside with his tail not even turning around. Ace recovered and threw 3 charge grenades. Each on stuck to Odin's armor and exploded seconds later. Ace soon had a deer in the headlights. Odin stood there unharmed; he didn't even have a scratch on him. The smoke coming off his armor from the blast showed that the grenades did hit their mark. Odin smiled showing his fangs as his body began to glow.

The glow intensified and the ground began to shake, lightning shot wildly from his body as the shaking got worse. Ace took his chances and charged at Odin once again. He punched the dragon right in the forehead with amazing force. Odin stood there looking Ace right in the eye. It was clear that the punch had no affect. Odin didn't even flinch or wince. Odin extended his claws and cut through Ace's armored vest with no effort. Ace fell the ground and jumped back barely avoiding getting sliced in half by Odin's glaive. Sora and Venus who was carrying Athena soon landed. Luna and Flair stood in their way.

"Stay out of this." Luna hissed.

"If you persist we WILL use force." Flare said.

Sora lunged forward only to get cloths lined by Luna. She then grabbed Sora by the tail and threw her into a building before she flew off in pursuit. Venus and Athena brawled with Flare. Despite the two working together Flare was still able to hold off her younger sisters with ease. She had more fighting experience than both of them and it showed. Flare was trained in the art of combat since she was an infant. She mastered every style of fighting she ever studied, and on top of that she was an elite assassin, to her killing was like breathing. She quickly hit a few pressure points on Venus's back paralyzing her... Venus fell to the ground in a heap. Flare then punched her out. Athena soon found herself in a strangle hold.

"You two have gotten soft." Flare said before letting go and kicking Athena in back sending her to the ground.

Athena's paw glowed as she prepared to use her power but she soon was engulfed but a sudden blast of fire stopping her attack before it began. Athena screeched in agony as her whole body was burned. The fire soon fizzled out leaving Athena on the ground black smoke coming off her body. She was alive but hurt. The fact that she was a water dragon was the only thing keeping her from suffering permanent damage.

"Now, we can't have any water those fancy splashes of yours now can we bubbles? The difference between you and me is that I am stronger." She stated

Sora and Luna fought in the air. The two traded punches seemingly to be even.

"How could you take one of those monsters as a mate!?" Luna growled.

"He is not like the rest of them!!" Sora shot back

"Do you have ANY respect for mom!? They killed her in cold blood and you mate with one of THEM! You are nothing but a damn traitor!!" Luna hissed.

Luna kneed Sora in the stomach before taking her by the neck. Luna folded her wings in and slammed Sora into the ground. Sora kicked her off and punched her repeatedly in the face knocking Luna off balance. Sora than picked up a near by cars and hit Luna with it sending her sailing. Sora put down the car and flew after her; the two were soon slugging it out in mid air. Luna kicked Sora in the face sending her crashing into a building causing into the collapse. Sora soon flew out from the debris and rammed Luna sending her into a tail spin. Sora then repeatedly punched her before letting her crash into the pavement. Luna jumped to her feet and jump kicked Sora sending her to the ground. She then picks Sora up by her tail and slammed her into the pavement before throwing her into the air. Sora soon crashed into the ground and Luna lands her back making Sora scream in pain. Luna grabbed Sora's head making her watch Odin and Ace fight.

"Take a good look Sora. YOU did this to him. That mutt is suffering because YOU broke dragon law and took him as a mate without father's consent. Not Only is it one of the most sacred of dragon laws it's also punishable by death if broken. His blood is on YOUR paws and his death will be YOUR fault. He has some moves I'll admit but he is no match for dad." Luna said with a pleased grin...

Ace jumped back beaten a bloody. His body started to tremble. Odin took a step forward and Ace instinctually took 3 steps back. His paw trembled slightly. He giving it his all but Odin still hasn't even used his full power yet. Through out his whole life Ace always found some way to win any battle he fought no matter the odds. But this time the tiger wolf had met his match and he knew it. Ace felt himself tremble with fear a little bit as the dragon stared him down. For the first time in his life Ace felt helpless. The differnce in stength and power was glaringly obvious.

Ace understood now why Odin was known as a warlord of the stars. The warlords where known to be some of the most powerful warriors in the galaxy and after facing Odin he believed it. Nothing he did affected him; He didn't even slow Odin down!

After beating Kira Ace thought he could take down anyone. But now he was beginning to realize that beating Kira was just dumb luck. And now he was paying for his over confidence. Sora warned him that if he ever crossed paths with Odin to not fight him alone but he didn't listen. He soon felt another emotion surface. It was fear. His primal instincts were telling him to run.

"I don't think I can beat this guy... I should have listened to her." Ace thought to himself.

*Flashback*

"Once my father finds out about us he will be furious." Sora said.

"I can handle him." Ace said.

"No, you can't, Ace he is called a warlord for a reason." Sora said.

"Sora there is not a fur or dragon alive who can beat me." Ace said as he walked out the door. *End of flashback*

"You may have beaten Kira. That is an impressive feat I'll give you that. But his power is nothing compared to mine. You are weak" He said.

Ace stood up and kept fighting. By this point most of his ribs were broken and his fur was matted with blood. Ace charged at Odin but the dragon simply pointed at Ace. His talon glowed and a single beam of light energy shot from it, piercing through Ace's left leg like a bullet through a piece of paper. Ace feel to one knee gripped by pain unlike anything he ever felt before. There was gaping hole in Ace's leg, blood poured from it. Odin then shot him again, this time in the shoulder.

"Why do you hate tiger wolves so much?" Ace asked as he fell to the lay on the ground.

"You want to know why? The tiger wolves to my mate from me, all she ever did was help people. She helped the tiger wolves more times than I can count. She paid to rebuild their cities after natural disasters and even helped cure many diseases and find home for the orphans of your race, never asking for anything in return. She was a kind soul who only wanted peace among the races was cut down for it. Then they put her corpse on display like a damn trophy, bragging about it. They took my love from me and robbed my daughters of their mother. For that reason I won't rest until every last one of you abominations have been destroyed. And now....You fall" Odin said.

"That is going to have to wait."

Odin turned around to see a female jaguar standing behind him. She was well toned wearing a green armor only covering her breasts and her sex with a slave collar matching her armor. Her eyes were jade green and she had long brown hair that she wore in a braid witch went well with her golden coat. But was most noticeable was the 7 foot live anaconda she had on her shoulders. The Jaguar herself was about 6 feet 5 inches. Most of the snake was coiled around her waist while its tail was coiled around her right inner thigh and its head rested on her left shoulder. It soon looked right at Odin and let out a loud agitated hiss.

"Demi tell Lamia to mind her own business." Odin hissed

"Mistress has sent me to retrieve you for a meeting of the warlords. You would be wise to attend." Demi said petting her snake.

"I have no interests in such pointless gatherings." Odin said bluntly.

"It's urgent. We have gathered vital information on the skull hunters, and Koga." Demi said flatly.

Odin eyes went wide and Ace narrowed his. Koga was Ace's older brother and a member of the skull hunters. Koga was also the suspected tiger wolf who killed Odin's mate. Their mutual hatred of Koga was the 1 thing Ace and Odin had in common. Koga and Ace had a history. Even though they were brothers and pretty much grew up together they got along like Wolverine and Saber tooth. Destroying skull hunters was Odin's top priority. Odin looked down at Ace.

"It seems fortune has smiled upon you this day whelp. However next time you won't be so fortunate...." Odin hissed as he flew back to the ship Luna and Flare soon followed.

Sora ran over to Ace and turned him onto his back gently. Demi walks over and injected Ace with a serum. His wounds soon healed immediately.

"The serum can heal any wound." She said before she vanished in the shadows.

Athena stood up and walked over to Ace and Sora helping them both up. Though the holes in Ace's leg and shoulder since closed the pain still lingered. Athena then tended to Miyu's shoulder. The wound was deep so treating it was a challenge but she was able to pull it off.

Inside the Oblivion Luna ran up to Odin clearly enraged.

"You're just going to let him go!?" She growled.

"Destroying the skull hunters takes priority" Odin said calmly.

"You had him at your mercy. You could have done away with him by now and THEN you could have been on your way! But No you had to toy with the whelp!" Luna said.

*CRACK*

Odin punched Luna in the face sending her to the ground. With a growl he picked her up by the neck and lifted her off the ground.

"You would do well to remember your place!" Odin growled.

"Forgive me... father I spoke out of turn..." Luna said gasping for air.

He then dropped Luna and went to his thrown room. The warship soon left earth and after a few hours arrived at a space station where the other warlords waited.

Each of the war lords had body guards, apprentices or servants. Odin entered along with Flare and Luna. The other warlords and their factions stood at a large circular table. They soon saw Demi standing next to Lamia large female naga. She was easily 20 feet from head to tail tip with a well toned build which was common among serpentine. Across from them was Mugen a well muscled malamute. He was wearing an F.A.S uniform with a gold paw badge on it witch showed he was of the highest rank. There were 2 other female canines standing next to him, Suzuka a dhole and Tayuya a female white poodle with black hair. Both had similar uniforms but no badges. Odin then turned his attention to a female Siberian tiger walking past him. She had long black hair that went past her shoulders with a gray stripe going down it. Like Mugen she also wore the same uniform. She was accompanied by a female leopard. The tigress stopped and turned around and faced Odin.

"Well look who decided to show up for once." She said.

"Watch your tongue fur ball!" Luna hissed.

"So Odin I heard you and Ace crossed paths a while back. You worked him over pretty good." The tigress said.

"And what if I did Kittana?" Odin asked.

"Ace is a big male now and he can take care of himself...Still from one parent to another...I DON'T take kindly to people beating up my cubs..." Kittana said with a growl.

"As if you could call yourself a parent." Odin said with a snort.

Kittana's ears flattened.

"What was that?" She hissed.

Kit step forward but Lamia soon came between them.

"We are here to discuss business. Not to fight amongssst ourssselves". She said calmly.

Mugen and his group simply watched not wanting to get involved.

"Can we at least try to get along for once?" Mugen said calmly.

The truth was the warlords hated each other, some would even say despise. The fact they could be in them same room without trying to kill each other was a miracle in itself.

"Rumor has it the skull hunters have a base on Wyvern." Kittanna said.

"There is proof that they are also in the fur colonies as well." Mugen said.

"Wyvern is Sora's territory so it is her problem." Odin said.

"Are all dragons as cruel as you?" Mugen asked.

"You would be wise to watch your tongue, before I rip it out of you maw." Odin hissed.

"How dare you!" Tayuya growled.

"Tayuya silence yourself." Mugen said calmly.

"But Sensei." She objected.

Mugen gave her a stern look and Tayuya with a growl obeyed.

"I think the big question is that some of us have relatives in the skull hunters and will they be able to do what is necessary." Mugen said.

Everyone looked at Kit. The tigress slammed her fist on the table with so much force she almost punched through. With in seconds all the body guards were on the table weapons drawn and trained on one another. Each of them was ready to fight to the finish. Each of the warlords called off their guards and resumed the meeting.

"If you are referring to Koga then don't worry. When that time comes I WILL kill him without remorse or hesitation. And seeing as only 3 of us could make it this time we should head out and gather more info." She said firmly.

The others nodded in agreement.

Back on earth Ace and the rest had since made their way back to the house. Ace was sitting on the couch. His physical wounds were healed but the emotional one weren't. Even though he gave it his all Odin made short work of him. If Demi didn't intervene he would have been killed. Sora was pretty cross with him for facing Odin alone and putting himself at risk and he didn't blame her. His actions put the whole family risk. Odin's words were still fresh in his head.

"Damn him, Next time WILL be different! I WON'T lose to him again!" Ace thought to himself as he clenched his fist.

Sora was perched on the roof looking at the sunset. She knew that Odin would be back. He won't rest until he kills Ace and anyone else who gets in his way. She watched the sunset in deep thought and one question came to her. Will she be able to stop him?

Chase was walking back to the house after running a few errands for Yoshi. When he turned the corner he saw Koga standing in his path. The tiger wolf narrowed his eyes at Chase and walks towards him. Chase turned and ran. He turned the corner only to see Koga standing there with his arms cross. Before he could turn around Koga grabbed him by the shirt collar and lifted him of the ground. Koga carried Chase deep into the ally far from sight and out of ear shot. Koga dropped Chase onto the ground. Chase was cornered.

"You're the one mated to the dragoness aren't you child?" Koga asked.

Chase glared at him not answering.

"It's in your best interests to be honest with me child. I don't intent to harm you...so long as you tell me what I want to know. Don't bother calling for help. They won't hear you from this far away far away from the house and even if they did it would take 2 minutes for them to get here. It would take me only two seconds to cut off your head now answer my question boy." Koga said placing a paw on his sword.

"Yes, I am mated to Athena." Chase said.

Koga's ear went flat.

"Well then you are braver then you look, mating her of all beings. You must be pretty strong; you'll have to be in order to survive." Koga said calmly

Chase gave him a questioning look.

"I see...So she hasn't told you about the mate ship duals..." Koga said.

"Mate ship duals?" Chase asked.

"When more than one male wants to be mated to the same female they dual each other, the winner gets the female's paw regardless if she wants to or not and loser gets nothing. It's the ultimate wager. When you are in a duel no one can assist you and fatal force is allowed. If you refuse a challenge you lose automatically..... Once word gets out that one of the dragon lords is mated to a human, every drake in the galaxy will come to challenge you, and try to kill you." Koga said.

"You're lying!" Chase shouted.

"If you don't believe me ask her for yourself... " Koga said.

Koga's ears perked up as and he looked behind him for a moment.

"Think about what I said human. You're relationship with that dragon just may be the death of you. If you want to live I suggest you end it." Koga said before jumping up to a nearby fired escape and disappearing.

Venus soon landed in front of Chase. She looked where Koga went narrowing her eyes a bit before turning her attention to Chase.

"You took too long so I came looking for you...." Venus said.

Venus then picked Chase up and took off into the air.

"Venus Are mate ship duels real?" He asked.

Venus gave him a surprised look.

"Who told you about that?" She asked.

"A white tiger wolf told me. He said that if a male dragon challenges and I lose I will lose Athena as a mate and be killed. Is it true?" Chase asked.

Venus sighed knowing that Chase would have to find out sooner or later.

"Yes, it's true. If you lose a mate ship dual you lose your mate and a most likely your life... That's how Kira became king. He faced my father in a mate ship dual and killed him." She said.

"Well then I am just going to have to become stronger so I WON'T lose." Chase said.

Venus smiles a little bit which was rare for her.

"This human never ceases to surprise...." She thought to herself.

Koga stood on the roof of the building watching the Venus fly off.

"Enjoy yourselves while you can cold bloods...I'll be coming for you soon." Koga thought to himself.
