The Coach's Whistle (For Zsisron)
A little story commission for Zsisron, done for the image here. Enjoy the little hypnotic antics of a college swimmer and a bear coach in the locker room. Art done (obviously) by Spelunker Sal, and story done by me.
Naki sucked in a deep breath as he reached the far end of the pool, sucking in as much oxygen as his lungs could hold. "Coach...you...suck..." he muttered under his breath, lifting one arm out of the water and putting it down on the edge of the pool, looking down the length of his lane.
The school had put the pool together from a great deal of the budget, and it was absolutely massive, mimicking an Olympic sized pool in every way, including the sheer size of the thing. The lanes were regulation size, both in width and - unfortunately for some of the students - length, forcing anyone that swam it to go as far as they could and making them push their bodies to the limits.
All to satisfy Coach Set. Naki looked towards the side of the pool, seeing the muscular bear making his way around to him. Shaking his head, the lizard pulled himself out of the water, his arms shaking just a bit as he broke the surface and had to support his weight all on his own. He sat himself down on the edge of the pool, and continued taking slow, deep breaths as he waited for the coach.
These new exercises were harsh, he thought to himself. Normally, the coach pushed all the swimmers extremely hard - though never to the point of abuse, by the school's rules - but lately, the bear had been pushing him through exercises that didn't make much sense.
First it had been stamina exercise, to keep swimming until he was literally about to sink to the pool's floor. The coach had a ridiculously good eye for telling when he'd reached that point, and had actually pushed him until he couldn't swim any further. Coach Set had leaped into the pool at that point, pulling him to the nearest edge and then setting him down on the edge, but it still left the lizard exhausted and sore.
Now, the coach had him doing underwater laps. Full. Length. Underwater. Laps. Even though Naki had a better lung capacity than some of the other swim team, it was almost impossible for him to hold his breath all the way from one side of the pool to the other side and back again. He supposed that maybe it was useful in keeping him moving through the water quickly, as well as a better workout by swimming with the water all the way around him, giving him more resistance, but he couldn't imagine it being useful in any of the competitions that the team competed in. After all, they didn't have any events that took place underwater. Not fully underwater.
Coach Set stopped behind him, nodding down at him. The bear chuckled, a bit of country in his voice as he spoke. "Looks like you're getting better at holding your breath, Naki," Coach said. "You managed two laps that time. Maybe next week we can get you up to three."
The lizard suppressed a groan at the thought of trying to get any better at this than he already was. His lungs felt like they were on fire as it was, and he'd been close to blacking out on the way to the starting point on the second lap. "Coach..." he muttered, shaking his head.
"What, you think that you can't do it, Naki?" the bear asked.
"That's...that's pretty much it, yeah," the lizard said. He turned himself around, feeling his speedo pull a little tighter against him from the twisting. Looking up at the bear, he sighed. "I barely made it this time. Come on, give me a break; this is getting ridiculous. What am I going to use this kind of training for?"
"More stuff than you'd think," the coach said. The beach chuckled, reaching down and pulling him up by the arm. "You thought that the stamina training was pretty stupid too, didn't you?"
The lizard nodded. "Yeah, I did; thought you were trying to kill me the first couple days, you know."
"But I wasn't, was I?" The bear chuckled, still standing about half a head over the lizard. "Bet all that training has you partying harder and longer than ever before."
Naki rolled his eyes. "Come on, that's - "
"No, no, tell me," Coach Set said. "You're out at the clubs, on the dance floor, and even in bed with some hot piece of tail longer and harder than ever before, aren't you?"
The look on the coach's face, that little glimmer in the bear's eyes, was just too much. Naki chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "Alright, alright, I admit it. I'm doing a lot better out there now. I'm the first guy there, and the last guy to leave."
"And in bed?" the bear asked with a wink.
"That's private," Naki said, though he felt a little blush rising to his cheeks anyway as he thought of how the stamina training HAD helped him there too.
It was enough for the bear, apparently. Coach slapped his back with a big broad hand, and nodded towards the locker rooms. "Catch a shower, Naki; you had a good bit of training today, you deserve a bit of a break before I take you to the next level," the bear said with a smile.
Eager to get some of the chlorine off of his scales, Naki hurried past the coach towards the locker room door, pushing it open and slipping inside.
He was the only one left here at this late hour. The coach tended to keep the tougher training until after school hours, probably to make sure that he could give the students involved a little more attention, make sure that they did it right. Naki had heard of some other students getting some personal help from the coach, but he'd never seen anyone else around the pool after school. Maybe they just had their sessions after he did, when the coach could focus on them separately.
In any case, it meant that he had the locker room to himself, and the lizard enjoyed that. He passed a couple of the rows of lockers near the door before turning down the aisle where his locker was. It was halfway between the showers and the coach's office on the other side of the room, and was a good spot for him to have his stuff. He could keep an eye on it from either side of the room, and even when there were a lot of other students in the locker room, he could leave the thing unlocked while he grabbed his shower.
Of course, alone, he could just leave it hanging open and not worry, even if it was somewhere else. He turned the little spinner on the front, unlocking his locker, and pulled out the towel that he had inside. His clothes could wait until later, he thought.
Setting the towel down on the bench, Naki reached down to the speedo he wore. Slipping his thumbs past the waistband, he tugged the tight swimsuit down his legs. It helped that he was still pretty wet from the pool, letting the suit slide down his legs. The muscles were trim, but still bulged a little more than those of a non-swimmer. "Might want to get a bigger pair," Naki muttered to himself as he pushed the speedos down to his ankles.
Sliding them onto the bench as well, he grabbed his towel and walked over to the shower. He kept his tail low out of instinct; it wasn't so bad in a college locker room, but back in high school, anybody that walked to the shower with their tails up had labels attached to them, whether they were accurate or not. He had conditioned himself to keep his tail down in the locker room, just to keep from getting any extra attention from the assholes that were in the locker room.
A quick turn of the knobs got the water running, and he tossed the towel over the shower-head, just behind the stream. It'd keep dry enough back there, and there was less chance of some joker coming in and stealing his towel when he turned his head. Naki smiled as he slipped under the water, the steamy heat already making a little mist around him.
"Aaaaaahhhhhhh," he sighed as his body was covered in the hot water stream. It was so much better than that pool. Heated it might have been, but this was so much better. He could almost feel the water blasting the last of the chlorinated stuff off of his scales, cleaning him up and taking away that little itch that the chlorine left behind. His hands rubbed along his body, not really needing soap, just encouraging the water to take away all of the itchy stuff and leave his scales clean enough for the trip back home.
In the back of the room, he heard the door to the pool open again, and he heard the heavy, steady footsteps of the coach. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Coach Set head towards the office. The bear looked back at him for a moment, giving him a nod, before stepping through the door.
Naki shrugged before letting himself focus on the hot water from the shower again, ignoring the bear behind the window in favor of the feeling of the shower. Everyone got used to the coach seeing them in the buff after a long enough time on the swim team; it was always a little uncomfortable at first, but it wasn't that bad after the first couple of times. It was just what it was.
Digging his fingers into some of the more sore muscles in his shoulders and then in his legs, Naki shook his head. The tough training was a pain in the ass, but it really wasn't that bad. And Coach Set had never let any of his students down in all of his time at this school. The lizard had even checked on that, after the first session of stamina training. Not only had the bear never let any athlete down, but he'd pushed anyone that he had taken under his wing up to professional levels of the sport.
Naki wasn't certain that he wanted to go quite that far with swimming, but it never hurt to get a good bit of experience under his belt. So, he'd put up with it for a little longer. Not sure that he'd ever recommend anyone else for Coach's teaching and training, but he would try out Coach's training for a bit longer, see if it got any easier.
He sighed softly as the hot water started to cool down, and he reluctantly reached for the knob, turning off the water with a shake of his head. "Hot water never lasts as long as it should," the lizard muttered under his breath.
Grabbing his towel, he started drying himself off, dragging the rough cloth along his shoulders before working his way down. The bristles on the towel - different from some of the stuff that the mammals and furless used - was particularly designed to get into the little gaps between his scales, making sure that none of the moisture got left behind to leave some kind of rot or other problems for him to have to deal with. It was just a bit uncomfortable, considering that those spots were never touched, otherwise, but it was better safe than sorry.
As he dragged the towel under his tail and around his groin, he heard the sound of Coach's footsteps along the floor, accompanied by the slight clicking sound of claws tapping on the floor. Naki turned his head to see the bear leaning on the side of the barrier by the shower. "Something wrong, Coach?" he asked.
"Nah," Coach Set said. "But if you got a minute, I need to talk with you about some stuff. Just couple papers that I think you should look at before you leave."
"Sure," he said. "Let me finish drying off?"
"No problem."
The bear stayed where he was, and Naki felt the coach's eyes roaming over his body a little more than usual. It felt a little weird, but he ignored it as best he could, shaking his head. The coach was probably just making sure that he was alright; the coach did have this eye for things, seeing things that were a bit off or where exhaustion was settling in. Yeah, that was it, that was it.
When he was done drying off his legs, Naki wrapped the towel around his waist and walked around to the benches. He sat down and looked up at the bear. "So, what kind of paperwork were you wanting to show me? Some new waiver for some weird training?" he asked with a chuckle.
"Heh, nothing like that," the bear said. He leaned against some of the lockers, his whistle reflecting the locker room light for a moment before flattening against the bear's bare chest, nestled somewhat in the fur there. Coach adjusted his cap lightly before continuing. "Just a couple of papers, some offers that you're getting from some of the other colleges. Some of 'em are tossing you some scholarship opportunities if you come over to their swim teams, y'know."
Naki blinked. "What?" he asked. "You're kidding me."
"I don't kid about this stuff," the bear said. He pulled several folded papers out from under his arms, tossing them into the lizard's lap. "Take a look if you don't believe me; it's all there."
Hardly believing his ears, Naki grabbed the papers and unfolded them. There were several pages, each one with a different seal from a different college, even one from a university. Admittedly that one was all the way on the other side of the country, further than he'd like to travel, but that was amazing. It was even a prestigious school, the kind that snooty people in sitcoms tended to brag about being from.
Even the other colleges were nothing to sneeze at. They weren't quite at the same level as the university, but there wasn't a guy in this school that would turn up their noses at the names on the papers. And they were wanting him, HIM of all people, to join their schools on a swimming scholarship?
Shaking his head in shock, Naki slowly lifted his eyes from the papers to look up at the bear. "When...when did these - "
"After the last swim meet," Coach said. He smiled a bit. "Heh, and these are only the start of the offers, Naki. I promise you that."
"The...the start?" he asked.
"You think that these are the only ones that'll be interested in you?" Coach asked. The bear shook his head a few times. "Nah, you stick with me and my training for another few months, and you'll have colleges and universities all over the country begging for you to join them. Not just scholarships, but housing and travel arrangements too, I'd bet." The bear leaned back. "Of course, you could just take these now; there's some good names there, and I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to make a name for yourself now rather than later."
He looked down at the letters again as he felt the coach's words sinking in. The thought of actually going to all of these colleges, whether they were the ones that already were inviting him or ones that the coach was promising would want him at their campuses, was incredible. He'd thought that he'd be lucky to keep staying at this college for the rest of his education years, but now with these offers in hand - not just the thought of the offers, but actually in hand - he had options.
And...and it was all because of Coach Set. Naki lifted his eyes from the letters again. "Think that I could stick around here for a few more months, at least?" the lizard asked. "I'd like to see what other stuff you can teach me before I go with any of the offers."
The bear's lips turned up in a bit of a smirk, but Coach Set nodded. "Heh, you got a good head on your shoulders, kid. I'll make sure that you have the body to match it." The bear stood up a bit straighter, and the smirk got a bit more serious as he continued. "But if I'm going to keep training you, I want you to keep something in mind.
"I'm going to push you hard. There are times that you're going to hate my guts, but you gotta do what I tell you. You have to follow the plans I give you, and you have to make sure that you follow the regimens for building up your body that I suggest. If you don't, then you might as well just grab one of those letters and run off to another college now. Do you understand me?"
Naki nodded his head. "Yes. I understand, and I agree to that," he said. It would probably cut down on some of his partying, he thought to himself, but he knew that he needed to focus on this for a while. He could party later, when he had his future secured; until then, he'd follow what the coach said.
His response seemed to satisfy the bear, at least somewhat. Nodding his head, Coach Set sat down on the bench next to him. "Good. Now. Before you go, I want to try one more thing with you," the bear said.
"What, some new diet plan?" Naki asked. His taste buds and stomach rebelled at the thought; the last time that Coach suggested something like that, it had put him off of meat for almost a month. The results were undeniable of course, but it had not been a pleasant time for him.
"No, no, nothing like that," the bear said with a chuckle. Coach grabbed the whistle around his neck, lifting it up and holding it between them. "There's something I do with some of the guys I train, some hypnotic stuff. It helps them focus, puts them in the right mindset. I'd like to see if you can get into a trance, and see if it can make you work a little harder, give you a little more motivation to do well." He swayed the whistle side to side slightly, and Naki's eyes followed it before he could stop them. "Think you're willing to give it a shot?"
There didn't seem to be much harm to that; he'd heard enough about hypnosis to know that it wasn't all that dangerous if another person put him in a trance. He wouldn't do anything he didn't want to do. "Alright," Naki said. He turned a bit, straddling the bench as he looked straight at the bear. "What do I need to do?"
"Just relax. Relax, and watch the whistle go back and forth," Coach Set said. The bear set the whistle swaying again, slowly going from side to side. The leather band it was attached to set it spinning slightly, letting the light reflect off of it from different angles, making it shine as it spun slowly from side to side.
The lizard followed its path, watching it sway back and forth, back and forth. He glued his eyes to it, making himself watch it sway. Curiosity made him wonder what it would be like to be in trance, and the drive to be a better swimmer, and learn more from Coach Set, made him want to give this a chance.
Slowly it spun, slowly it swayed. The light seemed to leave an after-image on his eyes, a trail in the air from the light reflecting off of the metal. It went side...to side...slowly spinning, slowly weaving a repeating arc in front of his eyes. There was just the slightest hint of the whistle sound in the air, not shrill, not shrieking, but just a slight, barely heard whistle, soft as a summer breeze, and just as soothing.
As the whistle swayed, he heard the coach talking. It came from far away, surprisingly so, as though the bear was talking to him from across the room rather than barely a foot away. "Just relax...just relax and watch the whistle...Just like I told you. Just relax like I told you, and watch the whistle sway...listen to the sound of the whistle, and listen to the sound of my voice...
"You like to listen, don't you? You like to listen, and do what you're told. Coach knows how to help you, and you know that you have to listen to Coach to get better...you're just listening to me like you always do...just listening to Coach telling you how to do better. It's no different than what you always do to train. Just listen, listen to me, and watch the whistle sway back and forth...watch the whistle, and listen to me and the whistle..."
His eyes kept following the whistle, but it was getting a little harder to do. His body felt so tired, like he had just spent twice the normal time in the pool. He realized that he'd leaned forward slightly, the whistle a little closer now, but that wasn't a bad thing. It just made it a little easier to watch the whistle, a little easier to listen to it and to listen to Coach. It was really easy to watch it, too. There was just something so fascinating about the light coming off of it and the sound of the whistle it made as it went from side to side.
"Yes, it's so easy to keep listening to the whistle, and keep listening to me. It's so normal...so very easy to do. You're just listening to Coach, and doing what Coach says. You've always done what Coach says...and it's so easy to keep doing it. You're just doing another sort of training for Coach now, something new. So you have to listen to directions to do it right. So just keep listening...just keep relaxing...and listening to Coach and to the whistle..."
Naki nodded slowly. It really was just like training, he thought, just...just training for the mind rather than...the body. Just needed to do what Coach said. Coach knew what he was doing, and would help him figure this out...would help him train the way he needed.
"Yes...yes, you're understanding. You understand that Coach knows best...that Coach will help you be the best you can be...You know that you need to listen, and you need to do what you're told. You're a good student for Coach." The whistle seemed to move faster...or was he just thinking slower? Naki didn't know. "Just listen to Coach...listen to the whistle...Listen to the whistle..."
The sound of the whistle surrounded him, the soft, slightly - but comfortingly - shrill toots of the whistle filling his ears along with the Coach's words. It was always there...making him relaxed...helping him relax and listen...helping him listen to the coach...helping him do what the Coach wanted him to do...helping him be ready to train his body better...
"The sound of the whistle is so relaxing to you. It helps you think of listening to Coach. You know you have to listen to Coach when he blows the whistle. You know you have to do what Coach says when you hear the whistle. It's the signal that Coach is talking, and you have to listen," the bear said, his words sliding around the slight toots of the whistle, sinking into Naki's mind. The lizard nodded, his head moving up and down at the same time that it went side to side, following the swaying, glinting whistle.
Slowly, the whistle pulled back, the swaying slowing. Naki stared at it anyway, watching as it was lifted up to Coach's mouth. He had never noticed how right it seemed there, how much power that the whistle had when it was pressed to Coach's lips. Naki smiled slightly through drooping lids, his mouth opening slightly as a little toot of sound came from the whistle.
The Coach held the whistle at the side of his mouth, and continued to talk, his voice clear though quiet, and the whistle adding its sound to each word. "You're a good swimmer...Coach will make you a better swimmer...if you do what he says. Just do what Coach says...do what Coach says when you hear the whistle...just like you always do...do you understand, Naki?" Coach Set asked him.
The lizard slowly nodded his head, his eyes glued to the whistle in Coach's mouth.
"Good...good..."
Coach kept smiling at him, and Naki stared back. He had never...never noticed the way that Coach's muscles moved under his short fur...the way that the bear's body was so hard and firm with muscle. He'd never really noticed the way that Coach wore an open vest...always showing off his chest and stomach...never noticed the way that Coach had such...such a big bulge.
"Now...just remember...you're doing what I say, like you always do," Coach said, each word carrying a little tweet of the whistle with it, each little word making him nod a bit more in eagerness to follow commands. "Now...take off your towel, and get on the floor. I'm going to show you what the breath training was for."
Naki stood up slowly, reaching down to his towel as he continued to straddle the bench. It took nothing more than a flick of a finger to make it fall from his hips, and it landed with a wet flooft on the wood. He lifted one leg around the bench, and took the step he needed away from it before slowly getting down to his knees. His legs were slightly spread, and he could feel a bit of weight between his legs, something hanging between them, but he was barely conscious of it.
He watched through hooded eyes as the bear leaned back, unbuttoning his pants. They slid off quickly, and the coach tossed them somewhere out of sight. Naki didn't know where, all he knew was what he saw in front of him, just like all he heard were the coach's words and the little tweet tweets of the whistle.
Bear cock....Coach's cock stuck up straight in front of him, hard and thick as his wrist. The lizard's eyes were stuck on it, staring at it as it bobbed up and down in front of him, the slight hint of musk coming off of it. Clean, but aroused, the coach's cock seemed needy...wanting...
"Press your lips to my cock," Coach said, and Naki leaned in immediately, his lips pressed against the head of the bear's shaft. The skin was slightly spongy, giving, but only by the slightest of margins before he reached the steel hardness within. His lips pressed against it firmly, and it pressed slightly between his open lips, the leaking tip inside of his mouth, but most of the head outside.
Big, thick fingers wrapped around the bottom of his snout, pushing his head up slightly to look up at Coach's face. Coach looked down at him with a smile, a simple breath out tweeting the whistle again, making it harder to think, making him wait for the next thing that Coach would say.
"Take it all in your mouth. Suck on my cock...all of my cock."
Unable to so much as nod, Naki pushed himself forward, sliding more and more of that thick bear shaft into his mouth. It pressed his lips apart, the thick hardness gradually spreading his mouth open and his jaws apart until he could feel the slight burn in them, but he kept moving forward anyway. A soft groan slipped from his lips, muffled by a tweeting moan from the bear above as he slid inch after inch into his throat. The lizard gasped around it as it hit the back of his throat, but pushed on anyway, forcing it past his gag reflex and into his throat completely.
In seconds, he was lip to groin with Coach. He could not look up, but he could still hear the bear whispering to him, could still hear the sound of the Whistle. The two of them were one in his mind, the Coach and the Whistle.
"Bob...bob up and down on my cock..." the bear whispered to him, and Naki did as he was told. He moved back and forth, leaning on his side a bit to get more comfortable as he did as he was told. He could feel a greater weight between his legs now, something throbbing, something that wanted attention, but there was no way he could give part of himself attention while he was doing what Coach said.
His lips tightened around the shaft as he bobbed up and down, pulling it in and out of his throat repeatedly. The massive thing was so thick that it made it impossible for him to breathe when it was in his throat, and he moved too quickly to get more than the slightest bit of air when he pulled back. The lizard, in some small part of his mind, understood the reason for the exercises in the pool now; they would allow him to serve the Coach better, to do what he was told better. It was as it should be, the Coach looking out for him long before he knew that he would need it.
A strong hand guided him, the Coach's hand around his snout, helping to guide him up and down the cock. The lizard could feel something running down his throat, but could taste nothing. He could hear the wet sound of thrusting, so very near the splashing sound in the pool with some of the swimmers, but not quite the same. Little gasps, and louder tweets, were heard from above, and each one drove him to do this faster, better.
It did not take long for him to feel the bear's climax. Out of nowhere, Coach grabbed him and shoved him down his cock, hard. The huge shaft filled up his throat, and his nose was plugged against the bear's crotch fur. No air could get to his lungs, and all he could feel was the throbbing in his throat as Coach emptied himself.
He didn't struggle. He just held his breath, feeling the coach enjoy the swallowing motions in his throat as he sucked down the last of the bear's load. The lizard waited, letting the bear have as much time as he wanted. His lungs complained, but they were not in danger. Coach would not let him be in danger.
Almost a minute later, and only when his lungs were on the verge of being in pain, the bear pulled back. Naki could feel the thick - though slightly shrunken - flaccid cock leaving his throat and mouth, and could taste himself and the bear's seed on the shaft as it passed over his tongue. He barely moved as the bear pulled out of him, only staring up at the coach when it was free of his mouth.
The bear smiled at him, slowly standing up from the bench, and letting the Whistle fall again. It glimmered, reflected, shone, and all of Naki's attention was upon it again.
#
Naki woke up with a groan, shaking his head as he looked up from the ground, seeing Coach Set leaving the office. "Ugh...what happened?" he muttered.
"You leaned over the bench and fell asleep after your shower," the bear said with a chuckle. "Seemed like the hot water got you all tired out. Remind me not to let you shower between the different swim meets anymore," he added with a shake of his head.
"One time thing, Coach," the lizard said. "Not gonna happen anymore."
He reached into his locker, pulling out his clothes and slowly pulling them on. The dry cotton felt good against his scales, a nice change compared to the wet swimsuit that he'd been wearing for the last couple of hours. Still, he wouldn't have minded staying here for another couple of hours of training, if that was what Coach wanted, but it was clear that their time was done for the day.
As Naki got up, he paused, and looked back towards the office. "Hey, Coach?" he called out.
The bear put down some papers, looking up at him. The Whistle - why did he think of it with a capital letter, he wondered - bounced a few times before settling. "Yeah, Naki?"
He hesitated, then asked, "Mind if I bring a couple of other guys around for training next time? I know a few guys that would be great for your kind of teaching. Could really help them get into shape, and they REALLY need to get into shape, I think."
The bear smiled and nodded his head, a little glint in his eye. "That'd be fine, Naki; anything for you. Can't wait to meet them."
"More like anything for you, Coach," the lizard said with a smile before turning to leave.
