In which a gryphon wrestles
Scales and Honor: Darkened Skies
Chapter 23: Fluffed Feathers
The night eventually began to wind down, voices growing ever more quest as the drink began to run dry. Plates had been long taken back as Merlia told the others about a tale involving a pair of larger than life Ettins and how a gnome adventurer tricked the bullies out of pounds of gold they had pilfered over the countryside.. It was late, what time the princess did not know but her body certainly whispered for sleep. Fatigue lingered on her bones like a tiny thread, wrapped around each limb and slowly tugging her to the ground. Sleep whispered at her ears, tossing a hand around her drooping shoulder and offering sweet promises of a restful time and it was certainly alluring.
“Well I think that like our dear princess before me this is it for me." She yawned, apologizing for her words that sounded like a dozy lion's roar. She bowed her head before waving to the others, who returned the gesture before listening in on yet another tale from the dwarven ranger. Even Feku had gotten in on the excitement and drawing little light shapes with her claws and having them spring to life and prance around the table. How they had the energy left was beyond her. While she was barely standing up, they seemed hardly affected at all. No crease along their tired faces, nor drooping heads or eyes. It was as if they were sustained on the story alone as it worked its magic all around them and keeping their minds fresh and prepared for whatever came next. Though as she glanced around she noted that Krotos was missing. He must have slipped out at some point during the night's many conversations.
“Right at your side!" Voidwing scampered over, tripping over himself and flopping at her feet. The gryphon shook his head, ears splaying before he gave her a beak parted smile. “Like I said!"
“Are you going to be fine my loyal gryphon?" She laughed, lowering herself towards him as the gryphon settled onto his little haunches.
“Okay…Okay.." He held up his claws, wings fluffing out behind him. “I may have had too much to drink. I blame the others for insisting that I do so. And you did seem to insist that I have fun in their festivities." Voidwing hiccupped, claw going to his beak as Nivra giggled loudly. He apologized in a stammering way as he listed promise after promise that this sort of thing would never happen again.
“Oh, shush that little beak of yours my soft pawed protector." She plucked the gryphon up into her arms, running a hand along his back and massaging where his wings met his chest. His soft fur glode through her fingers, warmth teasing at her tips with every small stroke. She fought off another chortle as his eyes closed and his body arched with her hand. It was times like this she could see why the dragon insisted and kept implying they were kitties.
“Thanks." He mumbled, nuzzling against her arm as Nivra stood back up and carried him towards the door. “Wait…" His head perked up, glancing around the room as they passed through the doorframe. “What happened to Lyndis from before? I think I remember her scampering out of here in a drunken stupor? And the red dragon? And Arcturus!" Voidwing rose up, peaking his curious beak over her shoulder. “Where did everyone go?"
“That's…. complicated." Nivra admitted, trying to ignore the gnawing sense of dread that bit at her sides. She sighed as a cold wind seemed to sweep by them and wrap the two in a cloak of uncertainty. She stared into Voidwing's eyes and unloaded everything William had told them, even the part about Lumara pushing into the Drenedar, and the suspicion that the uniter was used to destroy Wallowdale pass. As she spoke the words the shame weighed heavily upon her spirit, daring not to glance out any window in fright that hollow faces of the victims would be waiting for her with expectant, judging eyes. Ones that sought someone to blame, the blood the coursed through her veins being close enough. Voidwing's response was understandable, it mirrored her own in many ways as the horrific reality settled into his apricot eyes. They widened at first, unsure of the scope of an act, but soon enough his ears splayed tightly against his head and the gryphon shivered at the thought.
“That's…. horrible…" He whispered, the words lingering on the air like a dark cloud. “And…and your father knew?"
“I hope not." She sighed, running her hand along the gryphon's back. “Though who are we kidding? He was most likely the one to give the order." She felt her heart tighten in her chest. “We might have more to make up for more than I ever had imagined. I knew my father was interested in war…but I never imagined that something like….that would be created." She stopped dead, silence falling on the hallway as she felt so small within these walls. “How can anyone forgive us for such an act? Can you imagine?" She followed the hallways until they strode out into the cool night air that dragged ice claws against her skin. “All those people…All at once. It's worse than the marauders." She stared up to the thousands of stars above as the cold creeped inside of her and clutched firmly around her heart.
“So, we will have to do better." Voidwing proclaimed, settling a claw on her chest and offering her a concerned chirp. “You will do better. To do otherwise simply isn't an option. I know you can."
“Yea.." She trailed off with a slow stroke along his body, tracing every feather of his wings. How she longed for his true size right now. To be wrapped up in this moment and simply melt within his warm feathers. At least that would help with the cold that seeped into the marrow of her bones.
They crossed the courtyard in silence, only each other for company but no words needed to be said between the pair. They were just about to take the way back towards her room when she caught the sound of Lyndis' voice from overheard. It was a ragged, tired thing and laced with the ever-present state of fear that made it crack and tremble along the air.
“And how do we do anything about bloody that? A whole god damned city Krotos!"
“Allegedly." The blue gryphon's reply came firmly, not even waiting for a moment to pass between the two.
Nivra leaned back, curiosity getting the better of her as it tugged her back along by the ear.
“Oh you think they earned the benefit of the doubt?' Lyndis' slurred words came, followed by a hearty laugh. There was the loud crash of a glass bottle shattering against stone. “That's a load of focken bullshite and you know it. I'd never put anything past those sleezy snakes! They earned every bit of ire that I can muster!"
“Is that fair?" Squawked the gryphon. “What about Arcturus and me?"
“Oh shush that handsome beak of yours. You know what I meant."
“Handsome am I?" Nivra could imagine the Gryphon smirked, tapping the rogue on her nose. “You should lay down more compliments." There was a smack, followed by the squawking laughter."and what does that change?"
“Course it does! Can't you see?" Lyndis sighed. “Damn Nivra was right of course. I don't get to have a bloody life. I'll be sucked into whatever my parents are doing…Not doing.."
Nivra leaned forward passed the stone to see the Drenedarian princess sitting on the roof, head drooped out before her as the blue gryphon was up beside her, a welcoming wing wrapped around her shoulder.
“I just wanted to have a life outside the damned princess thing. Is that so hard to ask?"
Krotos beak moved into offer the princess a soothing coo, one that Nivra had heard from Voidwing plenty of times. Her heart felt stretched the longer she watched Lyndis' hands find their way to Krotos' cheeks and tenderly stroke along them with quivering fingers. “Can't have bloody dreams of my own. Adventuring! My own way of things!"
“I know." Krotos said softly, his voice tender and lacking any of the lewd hints that usually filled it.
Nivra knew they were destined to rule over their people and it was their duty, but seeing the strong Drenedarian reduced to near tears over this? It was not that hard for her own heart to throb and yearn to offer words.
“Its not silly you know." Nivra stepped out, preforming a gesture with her hands in the shape of fluttering wings then touching her arm. Gravity seemed to forget about her as shivers ran down her skin, erupting in goosebumps as they rose forth into the chilly night air.
“You were listening?" Krotos' ears swiveled in their direction.
“Eves droppers!" Lyndis gasped, brushing off her formal clothes, no doubt with reddening cheeks as she sat up straight with a cough. “I mean…What you bloody want? Can't I drink myself into complacency and watch the stars with this here handsome gryphon?" She patted at Krotos' chest, her brow stitching together.
“I'm handsome? His crown feathers rose one by one as the smug gryphon tilted his head down and gave the princess a beak half parted smirk. There was a rumble that radiated from his throat that sounded like that of a pleased cat. “That's the third time of the evening you've said this. Are you sure you like dragons more darling? Or are you ready to ride a gryphon instead?"
“Oi look what ya un made me do." She playfully smacked Krotos' beak as the gryphon released a pleased sounding trill. “Made me set off the gryphon's libido." She stuck a finger to the tip of that yellow beak illuminated by the moonlight. “No funny business. You're a good friend. Don't ruin it by gropin or making passes at me alright?"
“And let you have all the fun groping me instead?" Krotos pulled his head back, sticking out his tongue.
“Oh, you know what I meant!" She tossed up her hands, not resisting as the blue gryphon's wing pulled her in closer against his furred chest. “You're horrible did you know that?" She drunkenly chuckled, running a hand along the bird's chest and pulling out another bottle from her side. She uncorked the glass container with a pop, letting the cork clatter to the courtyard below.
“I might think so…" Krotos leaned in, eyes locking onto the bottle. “You going to share that?"
“Stop that you bloody mischievous catbird!" She laughed as Krotos insistently nosed at the bottle with his beak. Her hand slunk around his head, ruffling the fur upon his head as both erupted into a drunken howl that seemed to fill the very air with warmth.
Uncertainty tugged at Nivra's sides as the pair almost seemed to give her the cold shoulder as they cackled and smacked each other's sides in the night air. Words flowed between little sips of the glass bottle. In a way they almost looked like lovers with how cuddled up, the half-elf's cheeks practically burning as the strong blue gryphon regaled her with a story from his time in the guard. Nivra willed herself towards them, settling down beside them onto the roof with hardly a sound. Cold instantly stabbed up through her dress and casting a shivering curse upon her skin as she crossed her arms tightly. The spell that she had been holding onto faded from her mind when the little black gryphon bound from her shoulder, a surprised meep escaping his curious beak. As if time had suddenly sped forward, her diligent body guard grew steadily before her until with a happy chirp he was his full, proper size in no time at all. His claws touched at his fur, feeling all around as if it was all part of an elaborate illusion before a sigh of relief passed between his beak, his ears splaying cutely as he did so. He curled around her, strong claw reaching around her chest and dragging her firmly against his feather and fur clad chest. In an instant the cold was met with by warm gryphon, she leaned her cheek against him with a pleased sound.
Without prompting she ran her fingers through his white fur, warmth teasing at her frigid fingertips like a lover's kiss. She giggled when he fluffed up his feathers, soft chirps radiating from his beak as his careful digits stroked her back with tender care. “Glad to have you back to your full size." She wrapped an arm around his soothing fur, practically stitching herself to the sauna that was his chest. She felt his body shift around her, silver puffed tail smacking beneath her shoes.
“Oi!" Lyndis pulled the princess from her dashing, warm distraction. “What are ya even doing here? Couldn't ya see that we were doin jus fine wit out ya?"
The words flew through the air, a knife on which to pierce Nivra's heart. The wizard maintained her calm as the sting lingered about her head, granted reprieve by the steady thumping of Voidwing's heart. She knew they were only summoned up by the booze rattling around in her companion's head, so she closed her eyes and took several deep breaths to steady her thoughts. She gazed out to the sprawling city before them and the buildings seemingly warped and wrapped around sturdy trees. Lights dotted the multiple layered structures, people that couldn't sleep just like them. Dark shadows flew overhead, briefly blocking out some stars within a few steady wing beats. That caught her attention. She cocked her head, ignoring she looked like the gryphon she admired as her eyes traced the silhouettes path against the star filled sky. There were two of them, moving practically in tandem with one another as they rose and fell through the air. Together they curved around the city, separating for brief moments but always coming back to wrap themselves against one another as they carried on with their strange dance. It couldn't have been guards; the patterns were just to erratic. Then it came to her, it could very well be the dragons that were often spoke of within the city. Two scaled souls enjoying a star speckled night just like this that seemed to drag together lonely hearts to comfort one another in warm embraces.
It was not hard to think about her home the longer she dwelled on the shimmering lights and the soft sounds echoing out before her. She found herself drifting back to familiar packed streets and smells. She closed her eyes, leaning against Voidwing with a pleased sigh. For a flicker of a moment she was back there. Flying high around the buildings with her onyx protector, and long evenings practicing her craft. “I'm home sick honestly." She sighed, opening her eyes as an inner cold lapped at her heart. She glanced out into the dark waters down below, faces of those she had left behind to pursue Crimson reflected within the shifting, blackened surface. “And I figured that I'd rather be sitting here with someone I know rather than by myself and Voidwing here." She glanced up, patting his chest with a smile tugging at her lips. “Though he is good company in his own right." Giggles bubbled up from her as the Black gryphon turned his head upward, his eyes closing, and a pleased sounding chirp rolling off his tongue. “Besides." She leaned forward, glancing past the sea of white towards the ever so curious rogue. “You looked like you sort of needed it." Instantly she tried to back track her words as she realized her mistake. Lyndis struck back with a sharpened tongue, a voice laced with anger.
“I don't need any bleedin help! I can handle it by myself! I don't need no Lumarian's pity!"
“Hey!" Krotos squawked, his wings fluffing out in the air. “What did we just get done talking about?"
“Well…" Lyndis' fire died quickly before the caring blue gryphon's eyes. “Sorry." She hung her head and buried it into Krotos' fur. “You and Arcturus…You're different Krotos. You and he are good people."
“And what do you think of me?" Nivra's brow rose, the words coming without much thought. “Why do you seem to hate me so much? I'm trying to make things right! Just like Arcturus and Krotos here!"
With that statement whatever bluster the princess had was lost like a flame set before a gale's mighty wind. Lyndis' eyes swept out to the city, her hands clenching tight the bottle of spirits as her body slumped and she leaned into Krotos with a sigh. “It was so easier when you lot were just the bad guys I was supposed to hate. Everyone hears the bleedin stories about the Lumarian lot. How they come to our towns and take them over. They have taken them over. Its almost like an olden fairy tale and the big bad evil empire that everyone in their right mind has to resist." Lyndis' shoulders rose and fell, taking a sip of the spirits. “Then I went to your bloody kingdom. Met your people. Catch up with Arcturus and that pompous red dragon of his." She chuckled weakly, running a hand through her hair. “That oblivious, good natured idiot. Then I meet this gryphon here and…you." Lyndis rolled her eyes to Nivra, shifting within Krotos claws. “And you lot had to be everything I hoped I'd find."
“You know how I feel about that?" Nivra's arms tossed upwards in the air as cold bit at her skin like icy teeth. “I just found out my kingdom has struck an accord with the undead. Which I still can't fathom how that happened. But to add that onto the pile of horse dung, I discover that we might be possible for one of the worst war crimes by our civilized people!" She harshly swung her hand down, closing her fingers into a fist as anger brought glints of warmth to her bones. “That's the kingdom I have to take charge of. That whole storm of a mess that I must pick up and set straight. Hell do you know it feels knowing all I had to do was stay home and put an end to it? But instead I had to go off on an adventure to find that red dragon and his companions?" She sighed heavily as the weight on her soul increased tenfold. The faces in the rolling waves only stared at her with harsher eyes, judging the future queen that had let them down. “Sometimes I feel although I made the wrong decision."
Silence fell between them all, only broken by the sounds of the water crashing against the rocky shore below. Nivra shivered, leaning heavily into her bodyguard's chest as his limbs pulled her tighter against him. She was grateful for him in times such as this. His ability to seemingly know when her soul was in turmoil and seek a way to put a straight end to it. She shivered within his comforting grip, sighing when his beak started to run through her hair as if she were a hatchling in need of a mother's care. She pulled tighter against his fur, soon his wings wrapped around them like a blanket trying to shield her from the cold. She started out into the stars, contemplating just what to tell Arcturus of all things about the affair. He'd probably take it just as hard as she was right now. The pregnant pause was ended when Lyndis spoke with a warmth that she hadn't had directed at her before.
“No…you did the right thing. It might have been a tad naive or foolish but your heart was in the right place." The rogue handed off the bottle of spirits to the expectant blue gryphon around her. “You saw a problem for your people and sought a way to solve it." Lyndis slumped forward, her eyes staring out into the black void. “What did I do? When my kingdom had troubles such as Lumara and my father's words were in my ears. I know he tried to marry me off, but what did I do? I gathered my things, left my friends and ran as far away from that place as I could from my responsibility. Perhaps you were right after all princess. Maybe I should have just gotten married off and taken my place by my parents' side. Then maybe my people wouldn't have been in the problem they are now."
“But you gathered something I didn't during my time." Nivra shot back, catching the rogue's attention like a hook. “You lived among the people. You got street smarts etched into your bones, you can read people. Perhaps deep down you went to Lumara to learn about my people. The ones you were supposed to despise and resent. You wanted to see that not everyone of us was bad, especially before you took any responsibility given to you by your family."
Lyndis laughed, grabbing back the offered bottle from Krotos. “How naive you are. Giving me too much credit you are." She ran a hand along Krotos' chest as the mischievous bird held the bottle right out of her grasp, wiggling it in his claws.
“Say I'm handsome again." The bird chuckled with a grin. “Maybe even say how much more than the dragons you hold dear."
“I won't say that you bleedin bird!" She laughed, trying to snatch the bottle but missing. “But you're bloody handsome alright? Perhaps if you weren't so lewd all the time I'd have a soft spot for you! Now hand over the damned wine!"
“Oh!" Krotos chirped happily, handing back the bottle with a pleased trill. “Whatever would your dragon think princess. Charmed by a gryphon whilst he was away." He started to laugh with squawks, throwing his head back into the air.
“I'd be worried about it. He is a strong dragon Krotos. You'd find yourself under him I'm sure."
“Promise?" The gryphon winked, only earning another smack and joyous laughter from all parties.
“oh, come now Lyndis." Nivra composed herself, “You don't give yourself enough credit. Trust me I get that a lot." She wiggled her legs over the side.
“Oh yea? And what makes you think that I didn't just leave for selfish reasons?" Lyndis countered, wiping her mouth. She gasped, her breath curling out from her like a dragon.
“I might have thought about you at first. Truthfully part of me was suspecting it, but your friends. Arcturus. They trust you. Heck, even the dragon trusts you more than I." She sighed, eyes drifting around the courtyard expecting a pair of cerulean spheres to be peaking up at them. “Whatever did happen to our dragon anyway? Wasn't he supposed to be searching for you?" She quickly searched the courtyard, not finding a trace of their red scaled companion.
Lyndis burst out laughing with Krotos. She leaned forward, almost falling over with a hysterical shriek as a yellow scaled claw sprung out to catch her. He flared out his wings, beak resting on her nose as he chastised her drunken state.
“Oh shush your beak. I can handle meself!" She announced proudly, walking two fingers up the charming gryphon's beak. Realizing that the wizard was patiently waiting for her response the rogue spun her head around, her eyes like glossy marbles. “You missed it. The little guy stumbled around into practically every bleedin wall!" The rogue thrust a finger down towards a barrel resting by the wall, all splintered and broken upon the stone. “Couldn't seem to fine me after only a moment of looking. Must have gotten distracted by his love. Cause he let the paladin pluck him up and carry him off to the stables to sleep away his drunkenness!" She shook the bottle held within her hands, squinting her eyes and glaring at what little remained to swish around within its confines. “Tis what he gets for drinkin our stuff when he was that small! First time I've seen him proper and drunk! Course ya ask me, I'd have bet money on Krotos being the one to be that drunk." She laughed hysterically, smacking the chuckling gryphon right on the widest part of his orange striped beak. “And here I was thinking it was only gryphons and dwarves that could drink their weights in booze!"
“Its one of our most well-known qualities." Krotos cooed. “Besides our radiant beauty and gift with flight." His eyes flicked to Voidwing with an amused chuckle. “Course we have other qualities to impress mates. Isn't that right soft paws?"
“Hey!" Voidwing squawked, tail thumping loudly against the roof. His beak clacked several times. “That isn't my name!"
“Oh really?" Cause I hear it spoken by that human you clutch between your talons so often I was mistaken."
“She does doesn't she!" Lyndis laughed, smacking her knee. “It's so bloody cute!"
“It's a pet name!" Voidwing's feathers ruffled as the crowns on his head pinned back and shied away from the blue's gaze.
“Hey." Nivra whispered, raising a hand to pull the flustered bird's attention to where it belonged. To her. When he didn't look to her immediately, she caressed his cheek and whispered soothing sounds until his eyes did find her. She felt trapped within those apricot pools that twinkled with stars in the thousands reflected within his shimmering eyes. “If you want to leave, just say so." She ran her fingers up to scratch behind his ear.
“I'm fine." He sighed, wings flaring out to shield them from the other pair. 'We don't have to leave on my account.
“I didn't mean anything by it!' Squawked Krotos, “And Lyndis stop smacking me before I toss you off the roof! How was I supposed to know that his hide was so thin?"
“Try it blue bird…hic…and I'll land on ….hic…my spell." Her voice trailed off into a jumble of slurred sounds as Krotos chuckled and held her close with a steady wing.
“If you can focus on the spell." Krotos smirked, gazing in amusement as the rogue had no words and simply crossed her arms as she leaned into him. “I will consider that a victory."
“Oh mind your beak."
“See?" Nivra smiled warmly as the black and silver shield started to retract to her bodyguard's back. “No one is trying to hurt or belittle you. Besides, I think we can come up with some better nick names for him anyway." She scratched below Voidwing's beak and relishing the soothing sensation as his ears perked up with a pleased chirp. “How about dirty paws?"
Voidwing chuckled, pulled his head back and cocking it slightly to the side. “Hmmm." He rumbled, tail tapping delightly behind her. “How about lewdbeak? Flashyballs?Or…"
Nivra listed off more to go along with the gryphon she cared for as they devolved into snickers and gasping breath with each childish utterance of every name they could summon forth. Most of them were playthings off his name or how lewd and suggestive he was. This continued for quite some time until she silenced his beak when he burst out laughing with the suggestion. “Small Sheath."
“I resent that!' Krotos interrupted their brainstorm with a series of indignant squawks, followed by Lyndis' cackling laughter. “It's anything but small. And you!" He nosed at Lyndis. “If you don't agree I suggest giving it a good feel, just so you can be proven wrong!"
“Yea it's not really that small." Nivra whispered, finding herself unable to resist laughing as the gryphon's grey orbs came to mind. Her cheeks blushed, realizing she may have stared at them a few times during their travels. Wondering just how full they really were. How they felt smacking against…Her cheeks burned. Just how much did she have this evening?
“You looked?" Voidwing's head pulled back, clacking his beak on the air. His ears swiveled in Krotos direction. “Are you…you know.." He whispered, hugging her close as he trembled. “Pining for him?“
She placed a hand on his beak, closing it with an amused sigh. “Whenever will you learn Voidy? I am not longing for him. But its kind of hard not to observe his bouncing balls when he walks and flashes them all day." Her hands curled around her loving gryphon's chin. “Don't worry. While I may find his balls nice. I find your eggs much more appealing." She smiled as Voidwing's ears splayed, and the gryphon shyly glanced away from her, mentioning how he found her rump just as alluring.
“I heard that!' Krotos chirped happily. “And thus, my mental note of lewd princesses grows longer each day. All I have to do is grant you spirits, and you girls fall head over heels for gryphon sheaths!" The blue gryphon avoided Lyndis' clamping hands with a chirp. “You can't silence it now! I know your secrets! I have two princesses that long for my balls to smack loudly against their rum-" Lyndis' caught his beak with her arms, cackling as the gryphon struggled within her grasp.
“Think that may be enough out of you." Lyndis laughed, only letting the gryphon go when he flashed her innocent eyes that broke through her resolve. “Curse you." She smacked his beak as the air filled with his pleased chirps.
“I think lewd paws fits him more." Voidwing rumbled, running his claw across her belly. “Perhaps even dirty paws. “
“I resent that! My paws are never dirty!" Krotos squawked, shaking his head and fluffing up his feathers. “I make sure they are always clean! Cleaner than yours anyway Softpaws. “ He tilted his head to Lyndis, nosing softly at her cheek. “Right Lyndis? I have the more pristine paws." The rogue tried to resist as the unruly gryphon nosed and nibbled at her hair until the rogue burst out laughing, smacking away his playful beak.
“Fine! You have the cleaner paws. Just leave my bloody hair out of this!"
“That can be arranged." The gryphon winked, eyes drifting back to Voidwing with a mischievous smirk. “See?"
“However!" Lyndis curled a hand around the gryphon's neck, scratching at his fur. “That's not the part you're always bleedin trying to show us is it?"
“Well…" The gryphon chuckled, twitching back and forth. “I guess that is also true." He gave a heavy sigh, rolling his eyes as he did so. “Fine you fledgling! Call me dirty paws, lewd wing or whatever little nickname you concoct for me. I will then just refer to you as soft paws from here on in. Then perhaps we can find out just how soft you really are." The gryphon winked, making Voidwing's head pull back with indignant chirp as his feathers ruffled.
“I'm not soft!" The gryphon's chest puffed out, pressing Nivra closer against him as he held her firmly against it. “I'm quite hard as it were! Quite like nails!
The Drenedarian princess and blue gryphon howled, spraying the night air with a cloud of spittle as their laughter continued until breath was beyond them. Tears came to their eyes only to be flicked away as the two tried desperately to regain their composure.
“Well don't worry your tail none. I don't intend to find out just how hard you bloody are!" Lyndis cackled, seemingly clutching Krotos for dear life. Even Nivra found herself giggling away as her loyal bodyguard protested, trying to back track his words and insist that he had not meant the thing lying between his legs.
“Sure! Sure!" Krotos beak clacked as the flustered Gryphon shifted his weight on the roof. He gave Voidwing a wink. “Didn't think your mind was in that sort of place. Perhaps you're not so far gone. Might even have to start calling you lewd wing."
“If you do that." Voidwing's eyes narrowed at the laughing gryph. “I'll…I'll" The gryphon's ears swiveled back and forth as he raked his mind for a proper retort. “I'll fly right up there and smack you so hard in the balls that your ancestors will feel it!"
“That's bloody awesome!" Lyndis shrieked, cleaving the silence like an executioner's blade. Even Nivra had to glance up with a raised brow and a half smile as she admired the fierceness that was reflected in Voidwing's eyes. What was in that drink? She had never had him be that bold before. Especially about smacking other males in the eggs. She covered her mouth at the thought, giggling like a school girl as the two birds stared at each other, sizing the other up with tapping tails.
“You surprise me yet again little wing." Krotos smirked, his ears perking straight up and wiggling on and off. “I didn't think you'd resort to a plan that under handed. Or should I say. Lewd paws?"
Voidwing's eyes fluttered shut as the blue gryph called out several more iterations of the lewd wing, and mentioning certain things about the bodyguard's balls. Wondering just how blue they were, and if that was the reason for his deep desire to spill himself. Nivra stroked his white chest as it rose and fell with soothing breaths, his ears flicking cutely behind his head as he tried to retain his usual calm.
She flashed Krotos daggers with her eyes, nose wrinkling with each utterance that left his beak. She sort of knew that they were playing but the irritation for this little game was reaching its zenith and even she was going to tell that squawking blue bird to shut his beak.
“Besides!" Krotos turned away with a swivel of his ears and giving Lyndis a smile. “I don't even think he could smack my balls. Too small of a reach. He'd never be able to reach them properly!"
“I'd love to see that." Lyndis smacked her knee. The wall that was Voidwing broke, his eyes bursting and filled with a flame that seemed to set the air ablaze.
“Fine!" Voidwing thrust a wingtip straight at the smirking blue. “I'll see your words smug you pompous blue feather head." The black gryphon let go of Nivra, pushing himself to all fours with a clack of his beak and leaping to the courtyard below with a flare of his wings. He circled around, pinning his wings against his back before staring at the blue gryphon with narrowed eyes. “We'll wrestle right here" He tapped the stone below his claws. “Right in front of the princesses." The gryphon's head drifted to the side as Krotos' ears swiveled towards him, as if the bird was trying to feign attention.
“Unless of course you're all squawk and no beak." Voidwing smirked, tail thrashing behind him.
“Oh, the little gryphon wants to play? I'll amuse you then lewd wing." Krotos snapped with a smile, grabbing Lyndis and carrying her to the ground with a strong backwing to cushion his hinds before resting her across from the tail twitching black gryphon. “If you think you can out wrestle me lewd wing then be my guest." Krotos gave Lyndis and Nivra a wave, followed by a so pleased sounding chirp and waggle of his teal tipped feathers that it sounded like he was in love with them. “Give the ladies a nice show anyway."
Nivra floated to the ground with a sigh as her gryphon and Krotos prowled around the courtyard like two felines on the hunt. Their wings were tucked tightly as their claws clacked and dragged across the smooth stone. Their heads were low, muscles tensed as their tails flicked behind them like little snakes. Their ears pinned against their heads as each one watched the other's movements, ready to see the first move of their little duel.
“I didn't imagine that Voidwing had that much to drink." Nivra chuckled, striding over to Lyndis in case the two birds really got into rolling around the stone. “He really wasn't known to do it at the castle." She sighed, she did tell him to have fun with the dragon and gryphon.
“Krotos does it without being drunk. I think he just likes being thrown to the ground by a stronger male than himself and held there." Lyndis smirked, holding out the wine bottle she had been nursing and waggling it for her. “Want some?"
Nivra eyed the drink, its tantalizing promise of a fuzzy headedness whispering into her ear. The sweet yet sharp smell wafted through the night air and curled around her head, raising her arm like a puppet to snatch the glass bottle from the rogue's grasp with a polite thanks. She sipped at the liquid, enjoying the sweetness that rolled across her tongue, danced across her taste buds and slid down her throat like a lover. It was not as bitter tasting as the lot offered at the keep, this one was sweeter. Hell, she could barely taste the taste of alcohol in it. That of course couldn't be good. She just laughed, handing the bottle back as Lyndis' eyes lingered on the two gryphons still pacing around each other.
“Not everyday we get to see two male gryphons wrestling for us." Her voice was filled with a slight thrill as the gryphons flared out their wings and clacked beaks on the air as if taunting the other to start. “Bloody get to it!" Lyndis Hollard through her hands. “Or are you going to start smackin beaks together? Not that I'd mind that kind of show. Just wonderin where this is going?"
Voidwing was the first to make the move. The white legged gryphon wiggled his haunches, leaping at the blue gryphon with a keening cry. He sailed at Krotos like a loosed spear of talons and feathers.
“Oh!' Krotos leaped back with a quick pounce, nearly barreling into Lyndis with his haunches.
“Watch where you're going!" The rogue laughed, stumbling out of the way as the male laughed and offered his apologies.
“On the retreat, eh?" Voidwing recovered from his miss rather quickly, repositioning himself as soon as his hinds touched the ground. His body rippled with power as his hinds instantly brought strength to bear and the gryph was bounding through the air yet again towards his blue adversary.
Nivra smiled at the talent, amusingly enjoying as the lewd gryphon's eyes widened. Surprise shining brighter than any sun she had seen as her lover crashed into him, tumbling them both into the stone with a series of strained grunts. First victory would go to her bodyguard. Though that came of little surprise.
“I have to admit." Krotos gasped, pushing the warrior gryphon off him with his claws and slipping out of grip. “You got to be quicker!" Krotos pounced away, talons scraping the stone as he wheeled around Voidwing in a flash. With a pleased chirp he had jumped onto the black gryphon's back and knocked him to the ground. “See?"
“No way!" Lyndis pumped her fist as the two gryphons rolled around the floor with a series of irritated chirps, squawks, and lots of matted fur as some feathers started to loose themselves from their rippling bodies.
“Come on Voidwing, get back on top of him!" Nivra laughed as excitement coursed through her veins.
“Oh really?" Krotos laughed, only for Voidwing to capitalize on that distraction and flip over the blue gryphon with a heavy shove and happy trill. “Almost!" Krotos batted away Voidwing's claws, shoving the grunting gryphon away so the blue could right himself with a shake of his head and quick twitch of his longer ears.
“Good job Krotos, you're using what I taught you!" Lyndis was cut short as Voidwing flared out his wings and slammed into Krotos with the force of a battering ram.
“Ow…" Nivra winced as the pair crashed into the stone. “That had to hurt." Though they didn't appear to be injured as their beaks went to nip at the other's necks, thrashing around and soon becoming entangled within the other's limbs. “Though, you might need to train him more." She began to laugh as Lyndis took another sip, eyes narrowing at the brawling gryphons.
“Yeah." She sighed as the two male's tails thrashed against the stone and each other alike as their struggles had them rolling around the floor.
“Hey! Not the ears!" Voidwing squawked as Krotos caught and nibbled on one of the black gryphon's lion ears. “That isn't part of the game! Are you drunk?"
“Perhaps." Krotos chuckled giving the black gryph a firm smack on the haunches.
“Hey! You're not supposed to do that!"
“You going to stop me little wing?" Another smack sounded out as Krotos brought his claw again onto Voidwing's flank.
“Do you want to be smacked?" Voidwing curled his neck around, rolling with the other gryphon and finally tossing him off with a squawk.
“Why? Want to get your claws all over me?" The gryphon leaped up to all fours, flaring and then folding his wings as they stared each other down. “I think you rather liked that."
“Hey Nivra." Lyndis sighed as the two males pounced once more at one another. Words being exchanged about balls and skill at using their cocks. The rogue leaned against the hardened stone wall, just below one of the many lit lanterns.
“You plucked a feather!" Krotos screeched, ears springing up as his eyes filled with flames. “This means war soft paws!" With a defiant chirp Krotos brought Voidwing to the ground and pounced after him with a joyous chirp.
“Sorry about the things I said." Lyndis swished around the bottle in her hands, eyes staring down into the drink as if it contained the answer she was looking for. The rogue glanced up, and her amber eyes reflected the moon, and a contained a weight that mirrored Nivra's own as she thought back to her own troubled kingdom. “The cave…The table…Think you can forgive a sodding fool like me?"
“It would be most ill-conceived of me to not. This world has enough grudges and mistrusts. Trust me, it's something that I think often." She glanced up to the shining moon and shimmering stars that lingered around it like a necklace of white pearls. How many queens had done the same before her? How much impact did one truly have within their time? For a moment she felt small. Smaller than she had ever felt within her life. “And you were not exactly wrong to think the way you do. Especially after the image my kingdom gave the rest of the world. We have done terrible things. Deeds that need to be set right. Things…I need to set right." She returned her gaze to the troubled princess, giving her a weak smile. “I'll forgive you if you help me truly unite this land in a way my father could not. A way without weapons or threats." The wizard pictured phantom faces in the future shaking hands, kind words being exchanged as a bright future was made from two small people. Maybe she could make a difference.
“Think that's bloody possible?" Lyndis swished around the wine in her bottle. “I bet there's a whole slew of focken nobles that will have targets on your back when you return. Waiting for the perfect moment to keep the status quo doing."
That was a good point. “I." Nivra suddenly stalled as thoughts came to a halt. “That's." She tore her eyes from the inquisitive rogue and instead to the rippling muscles of the two gryphons who with gasping breaths were still going at each other. Although now their movements were sluggish, filled with long pants as they fumbled around with their paws. Both had shown more endurance in the last few weeks, but perhaps the drink had dulled them in that regard. “That is entirely possible." Nivra ran a finger through her hair, curling the raven fibers around it. “That instead of cheers and praise that I will be sought after by hidden blades and poison. But that shouldn't stop me. Otherwise things wont exactly change, will they?"
“I could drink to that." Lyndis smiled as the two gryphons squawked loudly at one another.
“Give up! Voidwing shouted, pinning the blue gryphon on his back with a firm claw. “I got you!"
“No…You." Krotos' ears splayed, claws folding up against his torso to push back against the winning gryph's chest. “Give up."
“And besides." Nivra sighed, “Something has to be done. Otherwise our whole kingdoms fall apart, and if mine has the power to destroy whole cities within a single attack then Rothdell will fall as well." Faceless people came to mind, staring at her with looks of horror on their faces. Blackened eyes glossed over like marbles as they judged her for the sins of her fathers. “Dragons…Gryphons…Humans…Even half-elves. All equally killable to something like that."
“Bah!' Lyndis dismissed her with a wave. “Thing I learned from my bloody father is that everything has a weakness. It's all about findin the bleeding thing and exploiting it!" The rogue grabbed a phantom dagger, stabbing at the air with a grin. Then her eyes widened as she noticed that Krotos had yet to free himself and was wiggling across the stone. “Come on Krotos! You're going to be bloody beat by that tosser?'
“I'm trying!" The blue gryphon squawked with rasping voice. He tried to push and free himself, but it seemed to be no use. Voidwing held him down like a sack of stones and was not being shifted by any effort on Krotos' part.
“But he's much smaller than you!"
“I know that!' The gryphon snapped his beak. “But he's really good at this!"
“Hmmpf." The rogue smirked, crossing her arms across her chest. “Guess we just have to enjoy the show you lot are putting on." She gestured with a finger to the pair of swaying gryphon balls every time the pair wiggled. “You lot have a nice pair of eggs." Before Nivra could react, Lyndis pulled back the bottle with ever widening eyes. “Ok. I think I've had bloody enough if I'm eye fondling Krotos' sack.
“KNEW it!' Krotos tossed his head back in laughter. “Getting beat by this lewdwing was worth it. Just to hear that line. Wait until your green dragon hears about that!"
“Voidwing. Kick him in the stones for such a threat!" Lyndis snapped back. “And after I complimented his balls like that. How utterly rude."
“Maybe a bit too much to drink." Nivra laughed as her bodyguard nodded, holding down the squirming gryphon. His tail flicked to the side and she got a nice view of both gryphon's plump fur lined sack. She didn't look away, cheeks blushing as she watched them move back and forth. Teasingly drawing her attention from anything else. She had to shift her weight as lust teased at her, drawing moistness to her nethers. She laughed at the prospect of the drink bringing this side out of her, but she paid it little mind. She had the mental image of caressing those loving orbs to keep her company. How weighty they would feel rolling around in her palms, and their contents begging to be released. All the while the soft sounds of her gryphon to keep her company as he melted within her hands.
“Hey Softpaws. You might want to look. I think you've caught a princess with how your balls sway." Krotos smirked, gesturing to the spellbound princess with a nod.
“What?" Voidwing curled his head around, ears splaying on either side of his head as his tail shot straight down to hide off his orbs. “You were really staring at them?" The question came softly, and made her cheeks burn ever the brighter. “I had no idea they captivated you so."
“Ask her to touch them!" Krotos cackled, earning himself another forceful shove downward by his black and white opponent. “What? It's clear she yearns for them!"
“Well." She stuttered as her skin felt like it had been put to flame." Course I did Softpaws. I got a little inebriation going on and you lot started wrestling away." She waved her hands in a circular fashion. “Practically flashing me your family gems every few moments. It's rather hard to not gaze upon them. Though if you like we can discuss how pleasing they look at another time in a more…Private setting."
“Oh!" His ears perked up, almost in surprise as the gryphon gave a weakened laugh. “I'd like that very-“ His words were cut short as Krotos' flung up one of his squirming hinds, slipping right past the distracted gryph's defenses and nailing him right in the sack with a forceful strike. Voidwing froze, gasping out breath as the air was drawn from his lungs. The black gryphon's eyes bugged out as he released the loudest squawk Nivra had ever heard. The black gryphon toppled over, his laws shooting downward to caress his boys. “Cheap shot…" He whined, his voice cracking in the air.
“Just have to keep your eyes on everything! Can't let a princess eye fondling you to distract you! Awk awk awk..ahhhhh!' The gryphon screeched in agony as Voidwing gathered the last of his energy and smacked Krotos hard in his balls with the back side of his scaled claw. The blue gryphon recoiled, rolling back and forth with pained gasps as he to was clutching his eggs for dear life.
“Now…we're even." The black gryphon wiggled his hinds, wincing his eyes as he massaged his balls. “Should have been paying attention."
“You…bastard." Krotos groaned, laying the back of his head on the stone. “My own words against me."
“Oh, my fockengods you did it!" Lyndis burst out laughing, clutching at her sides . She nearly fell to her knees as the two males squirmed and shifted across the courtyard with winced eyes and weakly curling tails. “I thought you'd just bloody wrestle! But you actually focken did it! Oh by the gods your face!"
“It's not funny!" Krotos' beak clacked towards her indignantly as his tail thrashed against the ground. He rolled to his belly, shielding his face with a wing.
“Going to hide from me now? Are you crying under there?"
“As the dragon says. Go get mounted!"
Pushing passed the cackling Drenedarian princess, Nivra surged forward, avoiding the still hiding gryphon. With sigh she knelt beside her onyx feathered guardian. She fought the urge to giggle or laugh as she laid a hand tenderly across his cheek. She had to admit this was rather an awkward moment but she maintained her calm. “How do they feel?"
“Aches." Voidwing gasped, his body recoiling ever so slightly. The gryphon opened an eye, one of his forelimbs drifting downward. “But I got him. That's…what matters right?" He gave her a brief smile before he was gasping once again. “I got that sneaky gryphon back."
“You're sneaky too!" Krotos snapped back, his feathers fluffing up. Even when Lyndis slid next to him it did little to ease him. “Oh, now you're coming to my aid?" He turned to her with narrowed eyes and ears pinned against his head.
“Hey there blue feathers. You did this to your bloody self. I'd be at least a tad more respectful before I try that little trick on ya." She replied, curling a hand around the gryphon's ear.
“Now let's get retire for the evening. I believe I have a spell for this."Nivra stroked his head, chanting the words and letting magic course through her veins and into her loyal gryph.
“You have a spell for aching balls?" Voidwing's skeptical eye found her as he shrank to the size of a cat so that she could pluck him from the ground.
“Well not exactly for that. But, it can be applied for it I imagine." She stroked his form once she had him nestled into her arms. “Don't worry now." She said softly, massaging his feathery head. “Perhaps the wise thing will be to not get into a contest about smacking other gryphon's balls?"
“He…started it." The gryphon shivered in her arms, tugging on her heartstrings the longer she looked gazed at his diminutive form. Nivra spun around, hugging the gryphon close against her chest as Lyndis had taken to at least offering some soothing words when she wasn't giggling at the situation like a harpy. The two gryphon's eyes met as Nivra crossed the courtyard, but it wasn't filled with malice or irritation like she thought they might be. Instead the gryphons nodded in unison, some sort of understanding reached between them. The princess rolled her eyes at the idea. Males, certainly they were strange at times.
“That was a nice shot." Voidwing grumbled, shifting in her arms.
“Same." Krotos winced, his tail flicking against the stone. The blue gryph rested his head back into Lyndis' lap, giving the chuckling rogue a weakened coo. “Are you proud of me Lyndis? I fought dirty. Just like you always do."
The rogue seemed to bite back her snappy response and instead stroked the gryphon's feathery head. Her eyes rolled before a smile tugged at her lips. “Just next time don't let the bloke hit you back you dolt."
“Oh trust me." The gryphon sighed, shifting his haunches with a groan. “I'd rather not have that happen again..And..thanks."
“See. You can be a good gryphon if you try."
*
“I still can't believe it's that easy to take one of you male gryphons down. I think we better invest in getting you some armor to cover up those areas Cutewing." Nivra sighed as she stroked the back of her onyx gryphon resting on his side and taking up nearly all her bed. “Maybe some leathers to adorn your handsome feathers. I'm thinking something silver." She curled a finger around the base of his ear, Voidwing pressed into it with a soft coo.
“I'll take that suggestion under advisement. Usually my foes don't aim for my well…sack." The gryphon chuckled, when asked he laughed. “I heard of a story once where it was suggested a gryphon use a pot to protect that area."
Now wouldn't that be funny. Nivra giggled at the idea, imagining Voidwing carrying that silver cooking instrument awkwardly between his legs. How he would waddle around with his tail awkwardly held to the side so that he could see that the armor was still attached. “Must have been a desperate gryphon then to do that." She ran a hand down Voidwing's side, the fur gliding through her finger tips. She saw his flank twitch and his silver tuffed tail smack against the wall. Without warning the mental image of his black coin purse came to mind. “Do..they.." She sighed, “Still ache?"
“I'll manage." The bird groaned, shifting his haunches. “Damn blue hit them fairly hard. Never saw it coming."
“All because you got distracted by his accusation about my eyes fondling your balls." She laughed as her cheeks flushed. Maybe he wouldn't remember that part.
“Was it true? Or were you just going along with it and having a laugh? I understand if you were.." Voidwing's ears splayed against his head as he lifted his beak to peer into her eyes.
“Course I wasn't joking." She playfully smacked his side, working a weakened chuckle from his beak. “Is it so strange for a young woman such as myself to gander upon the form of my beloved?" She held a hand over her lips, giving a fake gasp of surprise. “I am such the oddity in this world! Whatever will anyone think of me?" When he smiled, she caressed his chin, flashing him a warm grin. “And you don't have to put on the whole tough as stone attitude Voidy. If your balls are hurting let me know. We can do something for you. No reason you have to sit here in pain when you don't have to."
Regarding her words the gryphon looked away, his tail thumping against the bed as his legs fidgeted two and fro. “Then if you must know. Then they do still ache something awful."
“Was that so hard oh loyal gryphon? Besides, it was a rather foolish contest to get yourself tangled in. Though entertaining if I must say so. Really brought quickness to my breath." She laughed, pleasingly remembering the way their muscles rippled against one another, and their tails swayed over the hardened stone. Her cheeks flushed as their sacks were on full display. With a sigh she brought herself back to the bed with her bodyguard.
“I know it was." Voidwing grumbled, “I have the sore balls to show for it!"
“If you were going to actually do it you should have at least kept your guard up. Next time don't be surprised at the notion that I like looking at your maleness. I mean..I catch you gazing upon my rump several times during the day despite your best efforts." She smiled when he looked away trying to deny that little truth she had spotted. She nestled up closer to his back, hugging at his chest. “And back to your wrestling. Do you know how mortified I was?" She laughed. “That my skilled bodyguard was bested by a mere guard gryphon with a shot to his balls?"
Silence lingered for only a moment before Voidwing bowed his head. “Sorry. It won't happen again."
She patted his flank one more time. No way she was going to sit here while he ached. Even if it was brought upon himself by his childish antics. With a stern tone she locked eyes with him. “Spread your legs Voidy." She pushed against his leg, demanding entry.
The gryphon tilted his head to the side. “Did you just…."His hind leg twitched in her grip, unsure if it wanted to move.
“Just do it." She pressed against his flank again. She thrust a finger towards his beak when one of his eyes rose. “For your sore balls soft paws. I'm not going to sit here and let them trouble you for a moment longer. I got a soothing spell that can help with the pain. So, come on!" She playfully pulled his hind leg to get her intended prize. He could have resisted, he was after all much stronger than her, but as she pulled, he yielded and the gryphon rolled to his back.
“Princess!" His void sprang forth like a nervous teen found by an over zealous father. His ears pinned back against his head. “This…isn't proper.. You shouldn't be.."
“Oh snap that beak of yours shut." She gave him a disarming smile before resting her eyes onto the taught sheath that hung on his lower half. Right near the base was her destination, two large orbs covered in black fur that she bet couldn't fit in her palm. She curled a hand beneath his chin when his head curled to her, rubbing around the fur to sooth his concern. “You don't have to be nervous around me." She laughed, kissing at his silver tipped beak, trying to sooth him as her own heart had started to flutter within her chest. “You already walk around with them on full display. Why is this any different?" When he offered no rebuttal, she remembered the spell. She let a growing warmth of the coming magic travel up her spine and spread to her fingers.
“Its…" Voidwing dipped his head. “We've never done anything like this..You know…You gazing upon me like a mare in heat."
“Its not like that!" She smacked his white belly. “I think Krotos was right if that is where your mind goes. It's to help with your aching balls!" Her hand traveled across his furred belly as if on its own, right towards his sheath. She felt him twitch as a silence fell over them. For a moment there was a teasing thought to massage and grope at it, she could sense he was feeling it as well with how he was staring at her hand intently. She resisted however and only traced around it, rubbing her way down towards his plump sack. Her hands grew warmer, a lesser version of the fire spell she employed used creatively to bring soothing warmth instead of death. When her fingers brushed against the blackened fur she giggled weakly before starting to roll the warm organs in her palms. She could feel their weight behind them, truthfully making more salacious thoughts crop up the longer she kneaded and stroked them with her fingers. Like how they would feel pressing up against her as Voidwing trembled in bliss. But there was no time to wonder about how they would sound smacking against her backside. Or how he would feel trembling with her as he let out a blissful cry. She was only doing this to help him after all. That is what she repeated when Voidwing pointed out she had been stroking the base of his sheath for a tad too long.
“Sorry." She laughed, cheeks burning red hot. “Does it feel any better?" She kneaded one blackened orb as Voidwing's leg trembled at the touch. He nodded without a word, head flopping against the bed with a sigh. “Oh…yea it does." His claws twitched in time with his ears. “I never…" His words trailed off as she worked the base of his sheath, essentially providing motion for the spell to copy when she was done.
She giggled at every little squirm and weakened gasp he made when she kneaded his heavy orbs. Once more her mind wondered how full they were, if they needed to be emptied, and what truly was going through that gryphon's head as he gandered at her rear like she was a hen. “Never had anyone pay attention to your balls?" She asked calmly, trying to not show how much she liked how his sheath was plumping up in her palms with each rotation. She pulled away with the final symbol of the spell cast before her massage could turn into anything else. While she wouldn't have minded, she didn't want to shove him into something he wasn't ready for.
“You're still rubbing them?" He gasped weakly, rolling to his side to deny her the view of his sheath and balls.
“Not in the slightest actually." She looked away with flushed cheeks, already wishing she could have felt them a tad bit longer. How nice and plump they felt within her hands. Like a large peach. Her spine tingled as the gryphon let out a groan and curled his head to inspect himself. “I can…still..feel your fingers stroking and kneading." He fell back against the sheets, squirming. Ooooohhhhh."
“Still feel good?" She laughed, running a hand along the back of his neck as her skin grew hotter, and certain areas of her body began to moist. She had to shift herself against his back, pressing her face against his fur as lust teased at her mind like a siren's call. When he nodded, she smiled, admiring how his feathers were fluffing up with each squirm. His heart starting to sound like a stampeding herd also warmed her own. “Why did you even get into that sort of position anyway?" She scooched up along his back until her face was near his neck and crown feathers. “You must have known this sort of thing could have happened. “ She breathed in deep at his neck and getting a full dose of his scent. What was a slight dew between her legs was starting to turn into a river as Voidwing let out a moan of bliss.
“I didn't…expect to be in your bed and getting my orbs caressed and sheath rubbed." The gryphon's beak parted as a whine escaped him. His body trembled, eyes clenching as Nivra watched with rapt interest. His tail curled in and out in time with his quivering hinds.
“Something wrong?" She whispered into his ear, curling a hand around one and kneading at the hide.
“No..No." His ear twitched as his breaths started to come more quickly. “Just…not used to this.." each word had come softly, almost as if he were struggling with something and losing the battle despite his best efforts.
“I meant getting kicked in them feather head." She laughed, rubbing at his chin. “Not how I have you squirming with a simple soothing spell."
“Well.." Voidwing gulped. “If this is what awaits me for getting hit there, it only encourages me princess." His eyes closed as his talons clenched against the air, a hiss escaping his beak as his voice turned into sweet sounds of unbridled bliss.
“Sure you're not taking too much pleasure from this?' She rubbed his neck. She had truly meant to only help him, not arouse him to orgasm! “Like you want to spill your seed or something."
“Never…better." Voidwing forced the words, clenching his hinds.
Nivra smirked as she took note of his writhing body. True she could have ended the spell there and leave the poor gryphon that way but her mind wasn't exactly on the same page. She twirled her finger to keep it going, slinking up to nuzzle at his twitching ears as a new series of moans escaped his handsome maw. “Alright soft paws. I'll keep the spell going then." She kissed the back of his feathery head, sliding a hand down to take care of her own problems that had begun to soak her undergarments. Never did she imagine that she would get this much thrill holding Voidwing in her palms and watching as he quivered and squirmed within throes of bliss. “Even if you were rather foolish today you were rather handsome, wrestling around with the gryphon. The way your muscles rippled, and your feathers fluffed." She sighed as she pictured the two males tossing around the ground. “Not to mention showing off your everything." She bit her lip, dipping one of her fingertips into her drooling lips. She sighed at the contact as she played with herself, teasing her inner walls with little flicks until dipping in a second finger to join it's wandering brother. “Had me dripping wet you did. Wanting one of you strong gryphons to pin me down, spread me wide with your cock."
“Princess…" Voidwing said weakly, coherent sentences seemingly out of his realm of thought as his eyes clenched. “So..lewd."
“Course it is." She gasped, rubbing at her clit and sending waves of pleasure coursing through her lower regions. “Bet you like the idea…having me spread around your throbbing length as I milk it for every drop you got. Can you picture it?" She cooed, bathing her hand in feminine fluids.
“Yes…." He trembled, a long intake of breath following as she pulled against his fur. Crown feathers extended on the back of his head one by one until her bodyguard's body suddenly shook, his hinds humping the air several times as a musky smell spread to the air, and a blissful cry escaped his parted beak.
“Ooooo." She rumbled, picturing how it must have shot forth. She grinded against his back as the gryphon glanced downward in disbelief of what had happened. He squirmed as she massaged his chest, rubbing up against him as she explored her own depths, seeking her own finish. Her loins burned with needs as he fingers clutched firmly against his feathers and groaned his name into his ear. With a third finger dipped into her soaked snatch she snuck an arm around to feel for his length. To her dismay he shifted and denied her his cock.
“Anything wrong?" she whispered seductively, words laced with the lust driving her mad.
“No..nothing." He looked away, clacking his beak several times as his ears pinned against his head.
“I think something did happen." She groaned, flickering her clit with her fingers. “I think you got excited and loosed yourself onto the sheets." Her persistence was rewarded as her hand snuck around and managed to grab hold of his turgid length. It was drenched in a sticky, warm substance that must have been only one thing. Gryphon cum. It clung to her fingers as she kneaded his hot, pulsating rock-hard spire, drawing another weakened gasp out of her lover. That little contact was enough to bring her rising pleasure to its apex. Her insides fluttered like raging storm, arching her back as her insides squeezed against her fingers. She moaned Voidwing's name as she shivered, clutching against him firmly against her.
“Have fun?" She panted, snuggling up against his back as she joined her gryphon in a panting, afterglow, bliss. Her whole body felt heavy, like the bed was trying to pull her deeper into it's soft insides. “That was rather hot." She laughed as he rumbled his approval. “Should I apply that spell more often?"
“Perhaps." He chuckled, curling his head around to nuzzle at her hair. “Though I am sorry for loosing myself so early…You got.. me.."
She scooched up his back and silenced him with a kiss on the beak. She followed up by massaging his chin. “Maybe next time." She pulled back, fighting off a yawn as the day finally caught up to them. “We can put that Gryphon cum somewhere else."
“Where's that?" He replied with a weak smile, to which she pulled him closer.
“Where do you think soft paws?" She smirked, running a hand along his neck as lewd thoughts danced around her head. “I want to spread myself around that thick cock of yours."
“Oh really?" He rumbled, “That does sound like a nice time. Perhaps I could even call you my little hen?"
“That's the spirit." She nuzzled his fur, sleepily closing her eyes.
“Love you." He cooed, wiggling within her grasp.
“Same to you soft paws." She mumbled, letting sleep take her into it's embrace.
