Chapter IV: An Unexpected Arrival, Part One
New Allies and Enemies and new frontiers
Chapter Four: An Unexpected Arrival, Part One
The lights flashed, and people pumped the jam; as was parties in Carson City; when people weren’t in casinos or drunkenly wandering the streets they partied and if there was one thing they did right it was Carson City’s parties. Downtown there was a club, with typical club amenities. There was the bar and the dance floor and the white powder spilled in bathroom stalls and then there were the parties.
“Wow babe you are quite the dancer!”
Yelling as he did what came naturally he was standing in place and rocking to the jams while he watched the pretty little thing in front of him. She was Loraine Hart, if you couldn’t tell she was dancing with unknown guy number 56 during the week, and she loved it. Beer goggles were in full affected but when you had as much money as she did well then who needed to know who you were going home with.
“I know I learned it from my butler!” Loraine said as she more or less weaved her body side to side. The multiple shots in her body were in full effect and she loved it. Dancing on the dance floor and stamping on the ground, who needed to worry about real life when fake like was so fun?
“Well then baby maybe you and me can go home and we can meet this butler and you know then you can show me more of your moves.” Random Guy #56 said as he pumped his fist up into the air and the crowd around him yelled, at this point in the night the entire club smelled of alcohol and if the club could walk it might just crash into the mechanic’s next door.
“Oh yeah that’ll be fun; follow me pretty boy.” Once again, Loraine was drunker than a skunk and she showed it as she walked. Her feet barely about to make contact with the ground as wobbled forward and tried to make her way towards the door. She grabbed her phone out of her dress and held it up in the air; she clicked and took an out of focus photo.
“Now this is what I am talking about, come on you little thing we’re going to have some fun.” 56 said as he and Loraine passed through the exit and went past the two bouncers. And then she fell, the world turned upside down and she didn’t know left from right.
As she hit the ground, she managed to barely put her hands out and save her pretty face at the expense of a few scratches on her hand. Shaking it off she stood up and looked around, where did her guy go? She tried to call out but suddenly real life hit her in the gut and she felt like she would puke if she opened her mouth further.
She wobbled further with determination to find fifty-six as she looked around, unknown to her and her bliss soul people were taking videos and photos of her as she wobbled around the sidewalk and looked around for fifty-six. She suddenly was attracted by a shining light in the alleyway.
More of less her body fell into the alley and she grabbed balance against the dumpster as she looked at the shining ball of light in front of her. She put her hand forward and touched the ball, putting her hand forward she touched the ball and suddenly her hand was burned.
“You have touched the ball and you are now the Riftwalker’s Legionnaire, wait for the dimensional transportation.” The ball cried out in a masculine voice as it lit up the night covered alley. Loraine backed up as she cowered behind the large dumpster. Looking forward the ball expanded and it swirled around.
Looking forward Loraine looked as the ball collapsed into itself and then suddenly like rips in the fold of a paper a rip in the fabric of the universe formed. The ground in the vicinity shook as the tear between universes opened and then suddenly in a low flash of light people appeared.
There were more than a few people it seemed to be a massive group, and leading them were three people. The first was an Orca standing in front and putting his hands forwards as he seemingly searched around, behind him a black lizard and accounting and behind them was a strange animal.
It had wings spread out and seemed to be stretching out. It had a large glowing blue necklace around its neck and it seemed have shark like skin. It had dragon like wings and some horns on its head. Loraine couldn’t make left or right of the strange group of people standing before her.
“Are you sure this is the right universe Brother Basil it looks a bit more stuffy and blacker than the last one we were in?” The Orca said looking around and his eyes adjusted to the blackness of night and he got a look around the alley way. The shark face palmed and walked forward as he looked at his leader.
…
Good question; and another is weather we shall take the risk and go into that town; there is the chance that it is of either side and depending on that answer; well we are either dead or alive in the end.” Basil said as he tried to work out on which side of the wall they were on. He started to sweat as he realized that he didn’t know the answer to.
…
“No, we have to help Matthew, this is his time. His day is now and we going to stay, but maybe in fifty years well then we’ll have to see.” Basil said as they turned towards the door and walked into the regal throne room. Matthew was sitting down on his throne and he looked strangely comfortable.
…
“Yes we’re in the right universe; if you’d stop spending so many days in the tidally locked Terraona Alpha universe then you might remember there is a such thing as night.” The shark known as Basil said as he lead his leader around and looked through the alleyway. “Now someone responded quickly which either means we are in a universe where people touch shiny things or there is advanced life.”
“Is there a difference between that?” The lizard said as he held up a device that seemed to be some sort of scanner. It was a flat metallic box with two prongs that extended outwards, holding it up he seemed to be looking for something maybe signal Loraine thought. She poked her head above the dumpster and tried to see them better.
“Now that is a question after 224 years that I still have failed to answer Brother Agentic, as for this universe there should be a legionnaire somewhere around her unless we’re in some sort of stretchy arm universe, are we?” Basil asked as he looked around the alley, he showed off the other members that came with him over to a corner of an alley.
“Now we’re in something human inhabited, I can detect one right now. And this person should be the legionnaire.” Agentic said as he turned and looked over at the dumpster. Loraine ducked her head not wanting to be noticed and suddenly being pulled to the ground her stomach lost it, she vomited and she lost her chucks quickly and messily.
“Oh yep, were looking for the one over there.” The orca looked around the dumpster and saw Loraine vomited; he turned towards Basil who nodded at him. He walked forward and Loraine managed to stand up and put on a professional look besides her vomit and her hair and the stink coming from behind her. She dusted off her neon blue dress and tried to look professional as she stood before the new people.
“Hello welcome to our Earth, I’m glad you could make it at this so very late, late hour.” Loraine said she heard about this before from her idiot’s brother science fiction, something about strange aliens ripping holes in the atmosphere and appearing before people it seemed that her luck had changed for the better or the worse.
“Yes, and you were the one who touched the dimensional interface?” The orca asked as he walked forward and looked at their legionnaire. The Riftwalkers of yestercentury would be highly disappointed in them for getting such a magnificent pile of shit, but that was why the rules existed they had to choose someone form the planet to represent them.
“Ah yes I did.” Loraine said as she tried to walk forwards but found herself nearly empting herself again, she backed up and looked around again. She stood up and balanced back at the dumpster as the Riftwalkers tried to make themselves look professional and not as dirty as the person resenting them.
“Let me guess it was because it was a shiny thing.” Brother Agentic said as he walked through the alley and looked out of the tiny world that they inhabited for the last five minutes. His face exploded as he looked out and through the world.
“Maybe, but you guys are awesome we should so go out for a bit of drink sometime and then we can have some fun.” Loraine said.
“Don’t patronize her we have to follow the rules. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Head Brother Ignatius and we are the Riftwalkers, and you will represent us to the human race consider that your most important mission in life now.” Ignatius said as he reached out his hand and Loraine grabbed it and the two shook sweaty and vomity hands creating a pact between human and Riftwalkers.
…
“Now then if we take a look at Nano-Rat 2 here, you can see that he wants to fuse with Owlman’s feather but he just can’t get it it’s a bit like their incompatible for some reason.” Isaac said as he slowly dipped the feather that he got from Owlman into the firmly glued cage of Nano-Rat 2 and showed it to the group, for a second both reached out a liquid metal but just before they touched they suddenly repulsed from each other.
“Now then doing a quark scan on this metal, it seems to be made up of the same material in the nearly same process is taking place but for some reason electrical frequencies are off, it’s like they employ different processing architectures.” Isaac said as he pulled the nano-feather away from the cage and placed it into the pocket of his cargo shorts. He placed a few nibbles of feed in the mouse’s cage and walked away.
“And what the hell does that mean exactly?” Michelle asked as she sat against the back wall looking as sassy as ever. Isaac smiled as she asked her question and placed his hand back on the super computer controls. Hitting a few buttons be brought up a screen and showed it to everyone.
“Well think about it this way, either you have one person roll the barrel, then unload the barrel and then dismantle the barrel or you dismantle the barrel and unpack it at the same time.” Isaac said as he made an animatic show up on screen and showed off the few different ways he was describing. “There are a million different ways to do things and based on research this feather is about six times as efficient as the nano-bots we’ve seen.”
“And how do we figure out how it is more efficient, how do we find a way to reverse engineer this and the other generation?” Ross asked as he spoke out loud, Isaac looked surprised as he clicked the button a few times.
“Well then it looks like you guys are already catching on and I can skip a few slides that I had prepared so that I could talk down to you but it seems you won’t have that you asswipes.” Isaac said, Finn looked at him and nodded in disbelief that he still found a way to insult them. He sat down in his chair and wanted to hear Isaac’s plan.
“Well I need dense gravity but I need it in a place where gravity is weaker, I’ll just tell you space is where I am going. The gravity will allow me to focus my powers and separate it down to one nano-particle then I can search through architectures and see which one matches up, I might be able to make a control program.” Isaac said as he shook around the feather.
‘Well ain’t you just smart, who are you going to be talking can’t leave and go to space alone especially if this deals with nanobots.” Michelle asked, as she crossed her arms and looked in at Isaac. The cyborg shark nodded at her and smiled as he realized that he would have to drag someone along with him, well then he might at least take someone he would have fun with.
“Well then I choose, Finn…”
“No, try again.” Michelle said instantly knowing what kind of trouble that would bring them as they went up into space. Finn smiled as he looked Isaac, he wasn’t sure how he still felt about Isaac. On and off relationships were so fun but he had no idea on what to do.
“No I think I’ll go with him Shark Bros in space and remember I am in charge, and so while I am gone well Iren good luck leading the team.” Finn said as he walked over to Isaac and grabbed him. Iren looked smiling at Ross as the metal dragon started to shiver in his seat.
“Well then I have some people I have to call and then we can get going, but we can do that in the car.” Isaac said wanting to leave as quickly as possible. Michelle nodded as she looked at two entering Isaac’s car and the garage door opening. Looking at the neighbor across the street she could only imagine what the hell she was seeing.
Isaac waved goodbye from his car and the two drove off as they traveled towards space. The garage door closed as Iren stood up and looked at the three Outsiders around her, well more like two, she wasn’t sure if Erick sleeping counted as being an Outsider. But she knew that Finn choose her because of her skills.
…
“So then is all forgiven?” Isaac asked as they drove off, turning onto his home street they drove northwards towards the main street and the interstate. Finn smiled as he leaned over and gave Isaac a kiss. “Well everything worked out so I guess I have nothing to yell about.”
“Exactly, now then what is Owlman’s endgame, what is working to and if he has a boss what is his boss working for, and how can we prevent it?” Finn asked as he grabbed the volume dial on the radio and turned it down. They were going to have a real conversation.
“Well I guess no fun until space, but I think he is working towards mechanical people. Owlman is the prototype and he is trying to get it to a point where he can mass produce people like him, so who knows how long we have but I think we are going to be able to do it, and maybe just maybe everything will work out.” Isaac said as he drove forward looking at the HUD on the windshield as he focused on the road and driving.
“So then where do we attempt to be the metal rod in his spinning gears, where can we stop him where will this place best be?” Finn asked as he discussed. Isaac turned the car and they drove up onto the elevated highway. Isaac turned onto the interstate and drove forward.
“Well then, this would be the best place to do so, if we can make some sort of master switch that can turn off the nanobots we can find it in the most advanced architecture and then lower it down to mutant stain.” Isaac said as he turned into the fast lane and they made their way north towards I-80 and presumably towards the desert.
“Well then we go with your plan then I just hope you know what you’re doing; we can have fun but there is a time and place for seriousness and if this is a clinch point then we should stay focused on our goals, bet your wishing your picked Ross.” Finn said as he looked at Isaac who smiled at him. Isaac grabbed the shifter and advanced it as he drove past the midday rush and past the last building of the Carson City.
In front of them was Interstate 80, a massive line a wall almost bisecting the desert and separating it into two parts. This was their shot and this was the time not to let stray shots knock them down, they might jump back up but now too many lives were in the balance.
“Well then how are we going to get space?” Finn asked as Isaac turned into the right lane and prepared to merge into the interchange. Isaac thought for a few seconds and Finn’s face turned to worry as he realized that Isaac might not have had a plan. “Are you improvising this?”
“Yes, but I do have someone who owes me a favor. We might just be able to use this.” Isaac said as he pushed a few buttons on the dashboard and suddenly routing through his phone a call started. Finn looked at the screen it was a picture of an old blond grey man in a tiny tank, Richard Branson.
“Hey Rich, I need to cash in that favor that you owe me and it’s a big one; I need you to get me a ride up to your bachelor pad, and don’t worry we’re already on the way we should be at the spaceplane hanger in the Nevada Desert, we’ll be there in an hour.” Isaac then closed the communication channel and Finn glanced over to him. Isaac focused on the road as he looked ahead across the concreate tar road and towards the near future.
“Well then let’s hope that the future works out for us, but I believe that if we stick together and we focus on the future well then we might just do this; I just hope that Iren doesn’t burn down the base.” Finn said as he lowered his seat and relaxed.
“No they probably split, Iren and Ross on patrol, Erick sleeping and Michelle probably returning to her base and her general.”
…
“So then these nanobots we need a plan and we need to show we have something against the Outsiders.” Livewire said as he backed up his chair and placed his feet against the table, making sure his fins weren’t caught against the table. Michelle walked in the room, it was a normal room and it had the tiny table three chairs and TV.
“Put your feet down child, we need to either choose to fight directly or allow the Outsiders to do so because they have that idiot genius child and if anyone will figure out a way to defeat them than he will.” General Maverick said as he pushed Livewire’s feet down to the floor and looked at Michelle and the shark, they were the people that he trusted and he wanted their insight.
“Yes but, we still need an official stance, maybe we can work in a collation with the Outsiders show that we are in a united front against the nanobots, it seems that they might be a large threat than they are currently showing.” Michelle said as she crossed her hands and looked at Maverick for approval. He frowned and she backed off as she realized that she might have overstepped her boundaries.
“Well then is there anything that your idiot friend would like to tell us right now or else would you like to return to your Outsiders base?” General Maverick said as he approached Michelle and looked at her. He smiled showing his teeth and walked around her and the table.
“No sir that is all we know so far, our idiot genius is going somewhere to experiment on the feather he got from Owlman and see if he device a master switch from the feather.” Michelle said as she smiled back and put her hands back on the table. Maverick backed up and sat back down in his chair.
“You two need to shut up, if they make the master switch then we don’t even have to worry about it, but last night I found a strange anomaly…” Livewire said as he grabbed a folder from the secondary table and prepared to place it down, until Maverick pushed it away from him.
“Shut up, even so if they make the master switch then we still have the problem of them having the advantage or the nanobots having something above the master switch we can’t lower are guard against this.” Maverick said as he made Livewire shut up and place his files down.
…
“Well then even if they have something that works we still need damage control we need to show off our muscles and do something that might show off our power, maybe a buffet.” Ross said as he walked past the restaurant in the mall and ignored Iren for a second. He nearly missed the escalator but managed to scramble back on to the stairs.
“Well then right now we and the military are diametrically opposed, we can’t compromise like that.” Iren said as she rose up from the first floor and back towards the second floor. Ross looked at her as he tried to figure out what she was talking about.
“Well what if I work with Michelle, maybe I work with her powers maybe we could make a powered exoskeleton to work against the mutants something that shows the city that we are still in control.” Ross said as he looked at Iren walk off the escalator and Ross did the same.
“Ah yes Michelle our little black sheep, I can say that right, oh nevermind; I don’t think we can trust her any more, she’s working for both sides both diametrically opposed sides and somehow she expects that she is going to work it all out, sadly for her it doesn’t always work like that.” Iren said as she looked at Ross, she said it with a straight face and he knew she meant it. Michelle was threatening the mother flock and she was going to rear her ugly horns now.
“There you go again diametrically opposed, but we are still on the same side we want to help Carson City and we need together work against the nanobots, but godforbid there are like two more players. Good thing we only have one enemy to fight against.” Ross said as he tried to convince Iren that everything needed to work out the right way, they needed to work together and find a common solution.
…
“Well then, let’s see if the dumb box has any new information they gathered on the nanobots.” Michelle said as she reached down and grabbed the television remote and pointed it at the screen. Clicking down on the button she activated it and it turned on to ZNN, their news channel.
”Hello today I am to announce a miracle and you will be impressed at the changing world and the new inhabitants we will have joining us today.”
Maverick turned his head as he recognized the voice on the TV. Looking at it was a girl about twenty two or so who seemed to be dressed in a distracting neon blue dress and it wasn’t the right kind of distracting. He shook as he wondered what the hell kind of beauty treatment she was talking about.
“Isn’t that the fancy socialite that goes around town, ah what is her name? Ah yes Loraine Hart, what is she doing on the TV?” Livewire said as he yawned and raised his feet and tried to place them on the table only to be pushed down by Maverick.
“Good god it’s only eleven o’clock in the morning boy. You need to get some sleep boy.” General Maverick said as suddenly Michelle quieted them and looked at the TV. She was for some reason engrossed in the story for some reason. She raised the volume and listened as Loraine dressed in her unprofessional gear talked into the microphone, her face uncomfortably close to microphone.
“Today I have been chosen for a massive honor, the most massive of honors and at first it was hard to swallow but I think now I can show it to all of you.” Loraine said as Livewire giggled in the background. Michelle rolled her eyes and looked back at the TV.
“Last night, a magical portal between worlds opened up and while this might sound like a drug trip and the fact that my hair is messed up and I’m missing a shoe might support that it was completely true and I have proof.” Cameras took pictures of Loraine who was being a massive mess hoping they might get some sort of breakdown from her. Livewire couldn’t hold back his giggles.
“And here is the proof you need; I present to you the Riftwalkers.” Loraine said as she stepped out of the way of the microphone and walked over to the side as suddenly the curtains spread out and let one person out. It was the orca.
“Hello people of Earth I am here to tell you of a story, a story of many universes and how you are but one of many universes that exist.” Head Brother Ignatius said as he raised the microphone to his body. “Something is coming and something big is coming.”
Livewire giggled as Michelle gave him a glance. She looked at the TV and tried to figure out if this was some elaborate prank. And then Ignatius put out his hands suddenly the ground started to shake, not on camera but below Michelle herself, the entire building started to shake and she figured the entire city might have felt it.
“Dear god that’s at least a mile away, that’s no Earthquake, that has to be some sort of superpower.” Michelle said as she stood up at the table and looked forward as Ignatius smiled, he heard the screams of the crowd but he knew he wasn’t doing enough to damage the city or hurt anyone.
“No shit Michelle, this guy has some powers, the energy required to do that would be millions of times higher than me or Lighting Bolt could even generate or absorb.” Livewire said as his attention was got, this was serious people could die now if this Riftwalker was only showing a little bit of his power.
“And that is who we are we are the Riftwalkers, Mutli-universal nomads and we have come here to protect you, trust us we wish to cause no harm to anyone with in this city.” The Riftwalker said as Michelle glanced over to General Maverick, he looked worried and she knew that was bad. People were going to get worried, and frightened about this new guy.
“Quickly Livewire, paper and pen we are going to need to put out a statement quickly and make sure it gets across this idea.” Maverick said snapping as he saw instead Livewire hand him the report that he was going to show earlier. “Sorry, but this is a massive threat let’s see who we’re dealing with.”
“However, there is someone coming to hurt you, we have come to take this world back from the Kagens.” Ignatius said and no one reacted, to them Kagens were just another word in a made up language.
…
“Now then Finn I just want you to sit back relax and stay comfortable, any overtly wayward movement will throw us off course and then we’ll really be lost in space.” Isaac said as he reached forward and grabbed Finn’s shoulders he could feel how tense the shark was. Based on where they were going he kind of had the right to be frightened.
“Ok Finn just breathe in and out, all that’s happening is that we’re flying by having fuel ejected out of our ship and it just so happens that the fuel might be on fire and also could be unstable if we don’t monitor it; which is why we keep on monitoring it.” Isaac said as felt Finn nearly jump out of his seat. He giggled a little bit and kept Finn in his seat, he rubbed Finn’s back and knew that the plane’s auto pilot would get them where they needed to go.
And then in front of them a man dressed in what looked to be a few layers of armor raised a flag into the air. It was a white flag and behind them the sound of the turbojet engine activating sounded through the cockpit. They were in a space plane one of those long and thin ones that flew through the sky and above.
“Just calm down Finn this is just like a car, the engine is taking in fuel from the tank and burning it, and all we need to do is calm down; we will just take off as the air traveling under our wings generates lift and we then fly upwards into the sky.” Isaac would have giggled at the shark’s nervousness but with space and everything he didn’t want to frighten Finn that much. This was just like an airplane you just needed to get your air legs once and then you’d be fine.
And then the man swung down his flag, the brakes disengaged and the dashboard lit up with lights. The autopilot took hold of the craft and they flew forward through the desert, creating a plume of dust as they passed through the lower atmosphere.
And then they took off Isaac kept hold of Finn and just made sure he knew he wasn’t alone in this situation. They were flying to the great unknown and this was space, everyone wanted to go to it but no one wanted to pay for it. Finn closed his eyes and for a second he though Finn had been knocked out by the gee forces but then he felt Finn raise his hand up and grab a hold of Isaac’s.
Finn closed his eyes and just waited for a few seconds, this felt like hell his stomach wanted to leave his chest and his body was shaking and then he found stability. Opening his eyes he looked around and suddenly Nevada was just a previous thought in his mind. The air looked so clean and pure and he could see the curvature of the Earth it just curved out and seemingly he wondered how that was possible.
And then the second sets of engines started, this time rocket engines over airjet engines. What Finn felt for the first minute of the right felt like nothing compared to the second to fifth minute of the ride. But he kept hold of Isaac’s hand the whole time not wanting to let go and risk floating out of the cockpit.
“Just calm down the second rocketing is raising our periapsis and simply speeding us up so much that the speed of us falling towards the Earth is equal of the speed that we fall back into Earth, were speeding at thirty thousand meters per second right now so just breathe and relax; I’m here for you and I’m not going to let space take you.” Isaac said as he grabbed onto Finn’s other hand and no matter how uncomfortable it felt with both of his hands stretched over the seat and the rock engine behind him he held on.
And then as both of them held on for dear life the rocket engine stopped, the effect of gravity no longer applied to them they were free from the ground and they were in space. Finn opened his eyes and looked around him; the stars around him looked so pure and precise. Looking out he felt like he could just reach out and grab one and pull it down.
And then above them they heard some mechanics moving for a second until behind them the docking port extended up and behind them it reached into space. And then they stopped, looking above them there was another space station and they docked to it.
The docking port seemed to be a simple extend, the docking port allowed them access from behind. A wall had pulled back and they were able to enter through a hole in the ship’s wall. Isaac tapped Finn and made sure he paid attention as he climbed through the hole.
“Come on adventure boy we have some science to do.” Isaac said as he diverted Finn’s attention to the docking port. Floating through Isaac disappeared into the simple rudimentary docking port. Finn unbuckled his seat belt and suddenly he realized he wasn’t attached to the ground any more. He grabbed the seat and he was moved around the craft.
Floating over Isaac’s seat he grabbed the edge of the docking port and pulled himself into the hole. Isaac opened the docking port and pulled it apart as he looked up and pulled himself up into the main body of the spacestation. Finn grabbed the docking port edge and pushed against it flying up into and looking around as he entered a glass tube.
“My god this is amazing, you are amazing! What kind of favor did you do in order get this back?” Finn said as he looked out and spun around the central tube. They had to be just above the atmosphere, he could see tiny sparks around them and looking around them he knew that they were in space.
Finn wanted to look around forever, but sadly Isaac had other plans. Reaching down and using the entrance of the station for leverage, Isaac grabbed Finn and pulled him up into the space station. Finn floated around with joy, the white titled floor and the large open space. He floated around and grabbed onto to a holding bar, this place was one bouncy ball away from disaster.
“Well do remember that night where we fought the massive nuclear powered exosuit and I just told you it was an experiment gone wrong, it wasn’t exactly my experiment and we weren’t as much of being at risk of being punched to death more of being exploded to death.” Isaac said to Finn as he flew into the station, his powers allowing him to make tiny adjustments that would send him flying.
Finn smiled as he looked around at the spacestation. The spacestation seemed to be designed to have no direct roof; the doors were placed in the center and were as large as they were wide. All ends seemed to have a table and some sort of equipment on them. Finn looked around there couldn’t have been more of then a layer of protection on the wall between them and the coldness of Outer Space.
“Now then don’t worry this space station has carbon fiber nano-tubes protecting us, and a thermodynamic material keeping the heat in. Oxygen is produced through neutrino energy absorption and then uses oxygen bursts to boost the station’s altitude.” Isaac said as he knocked on the wall of the station and the station shook.
“Ah well then I’ll stand on guard and just look out through the windows, like Owlman could come up here.” Finn said nervously laughing before he knocked on Isaac’s head.
“Sure go use the balcony.” Isaac said as he pointed to the door and simply floated over to one of the desks. Grabbing one of the walls Finn pushed himself over to the door way and then he stood in it. He was amazed; it was a massive glass encased garden, well how better to make oxygen. And looking around he could see the stars and the lights in the sky.
And then in front of him something eclipsed the sky and started to knock on the window. Finn stood still as Owlman stood in front of him, he was there he had somehow braved space. Owlman then slashed forward and the glass broke, Finn quickly grabbed onto a tree.
“Now then I’d like my feather back you insolent fools, you’ve brought the rage of Owlman on yourself.”
