Oh my god, I'm finally done!! I'm so sorry for how long this took. But it seemed like every time I wrote it out, it just didn't seem right in my eyes and I started over. This is the last chapter of the Hybrid series and it was a real blast working on it. Big thanks to all of you for reading my bad stories and adding your ideas. Also a big thanks to

@Sangheilinerd

for letting me kidnap his character Nick. This is as much my story as it is yours. As usual, leave your comments down below, please. I can't stress this enough to my readers. Please let me know what you think of the series as a whole. Did I make the hybrids to passive? Were the emotions I use okay for each scene? Did I add enough description to give a clear visual? These are the comments I would love to read from the people who read my stories. Faves are just as good cause it lets me know you enjoy what I write. I may not be as popular as the authors who have Patrons and ebooks, but I put a lot effort into each chapter. Sorry about that little rant. Please enjoy the last chapter of the Hybrid series with a bowl of popcorn and some ice tea ^__^

Ryudo sat at his desk, tea cup in hand and a paper in the other. Its been one month since the bill was passed and things were bad. But not as bad as the first week of hybrids being free. Fights broke out every day and the hospital was crowded from minor cuts and scraps to broken bones and stab wounds. He knew it was going to be hell and it was. At least the hybrids were able to fight back sending the ones who assaulted them to the hospital as well.

The cops were still a little prejudiced against the hybrids, not bothering to take their statements and taking the side of humans. But after a week of all the fighting, the President went on the air asking everyone, human and hybrid alike, to work together. It was a new beginning for everybody and shouldn't start with bloodshed.

We're all inhabitants of this planet. There should be no reason why we can't co exist in peace and harmony like we use to. I believe in what Mr. Gold said in his speech. We all have jobs to go to. The sun will still rise and set. This is the land of the free. Let us continue to act with the dignity I know we have.”

Ryudo chuckled before tossing the paper on the desk, sipping his tea as soft jazz was playing on the computer. People are still gonna be dicks regardless of what the law says. A beep caught his attention as he looked at his computer, seeing a new message displayed. Clicking it open, his eyes scanned the letter before smiling. Seems like another farm needed his hand in saving face.

After the bill was signed and put into motion, all companies had to slowly change how they did things. All the hybrids they 'employed' were put on the payroll much to their dismay. Some companies welcomed the changed, having a plan in motion for when the day came. All the farms were made into just that, farms. The broken down barn houses they lived in were fixed up with beds, working bathrooms and a kitchen, almost like a large hotel. A big part of that went to Davenport as his people were there to help with the remodeling and construction. Ryudo looked down at his desk, seeing a picture of everybody laughing and having a good time at a picnic. He had his arm around Blake's shoulder, drinks in their hands along with smiles on their faces.

“Wish you could see this now bro. You would love it.”

He stood up with a stretch before turning to look out the window. The sun was high in the blue afternoon sky with a few wisps of clouds here and there. Looking down, he saw the groundskeeper tending to the garden. The parking lot was surprisingly full as his intercom went off.

Dr. Peterson, you're needed in ICU.”

“Be right there,” he said hitting the button.

Grabbing his jacket, he was about to leave when Derrick walked in.

“Hey Ryudo!”

“Hey D.”

“Heading to ICU?”

“Yeah. You?”

“Same. I'll follow you.”

They headed out, walking down the hall and saying hi to various hybrids along with the nurses. Reaching the elevator, they got in and went down to the third floor.

“Me and Donna are going to the park later to watch the sunset. You want to come with?”

Ryudo thought about it. Its been a crazy month and he was on call almost every night since the bill was passed. He never had anytime for Gail, but he understood and said don't worry about it.

“Sure. Its been a crazy month and I could use some serene scenery to relax my mind.”

“Yeah, no kidding,” Derrick replied.

The elevator stopped with a ding as they got out.

“I'll catch you tonight man,” Derrick said walking down the hall to the left.

Ryudo watched him before heading down the right hall.

//////

Syzman walked down the hall, dress shoes clicking loudly on the marble floor. His mind was in a whirl as numbers danced through it. He reached a pair of double doors which were opened by a collie who bowed. Inside was a large room with a rectangle oak table, several people seated or standing. He walked over to the head of the table and placed his suitcase down.

“Alright people, let's get started.”

Everybody took their seats, opening a folder or taking a sip of coffee.

“So what's the damage so far?”

“Profits are down again another twenty percent. All of our farms have been converted and the hybrids are saying they won't work until they get better treatment,” a lady spoke up.

“What about our remaining clients?”

“Buildings are getting built, but not at the rate the clients want,” a man spoke up next.

Syzman let out a sigh at that, rubbing his temples. He knew this would be a shit storm, but to take this much loss is painful.

“Fuck,” he sighed. “What do people suggest? I'm open for anything at the moment.”

Nobody spoke up for a minute until Hanley did.

“Nothing we can really do Syzman. Our hands our tied with this bill. Hybrids are getting what they want slowly. Pretty soon, we won't be in business.”

“It's all that Peterson's kid fault. If he hadn't stopped us at the inspection stage, we'd have more money then we have now,” Ivory said.

“Let's not forget the real enemy in the first place. Kelley Gold,” a man spoke up. “You should've just had Psi kill him.”

Syzman looked at the man before shaking his head.

“Okay, let's go on that angle Roberts. Suppose we kill Gold and with it, the bill. Who do you think the first people they'll pick as suspects? The companies that have much to lose with the bill being signed. And which company is the largest out of all of them? Us.”

He closed his eyes, letting out a sigh.

“Then comes the heavy audits and delays of projects. And delay of projects means losing more money then we already are. Is that what you really want?”

“We're losing money regardless Syzman,” Roberts replied back. “At least with Gold out of the way, we would've profited some.”

Syzman looked at him before grunting.

“How long have you been working for me?”

“A year.”

“Long enough. Get out.”

Roberts looked shocked at that, mouth agape a little.

“What are you saying?”

“You're fired. Obviously you have no idea how to do business.”

Roberts looked at him stunned before the doors opened as two big men in black suits entered, walking over to him. Roberts let out a humph before collecting his things and standing up.

“Very well. I can manage on my own. Thanks for nothing.”

The men lead him out as everybody watched before looking at Syzman who was going through some papers.

“If anybody else has something stupid to add, you can walk out the door as well.”

Nobody spoke up as Syzman nodded.

“Good. Let's continue.”

///////

“Alright, this Congress session will now adjourn for lunch,” Topps said, banging the gavel.

All the business men and women stood up with a stretch, talking amongst each other as they gathered their notes. Kelley gathered his paperwork, tossing it in his suitcase before snapping it shut. Today was a decent day for once. There wasn't that many arguments and discussions went smooth without the usual yelling that would happen when he started talking.

“Wonder if Lilly's waiting for me?”

Lilly would sometimes meet him at the Congress hall with a bag of lunch for both of them. She looked so much happier without wearing that stupid collar. He was about to leave when he heard his name called.

“Hey Gold, hold up.”

He turned to see a middle aged man in a dark blue suit walk up to him. His hair was smoothed back and held with a bit of gel.

“Mr. Wilson, what can I do for you?”

“Just wanted to thank you for your support today. Couldn't have done it without you and your supporters.”

“Not a problem. Just doing what's needed for the hybrids.”

“I'll catch you back here in an hour or so,” Wilson said patting his shoulder before leaving.

Kelley watched him leave before heading out the door himself. He maneuvered his way through the vast crowd before reaching the exit. The warm sun hit his face making him smile. But the biggest smile came when he saw Lilly and Trevor standing by the car. Lilly was wearing a pair of black shorts and a shirt. Trevor wore a pair of khakis pants with a white shirt tucked in. But the best thing of all, was no collar around their neck. He walked up to them as Lilly gave him a big hug.

“We heading out for lunch?” Kelley asked.

“Of course. I made us some good stuff,” Lilly smiled.

Trevor opened the door for them as they got in. He padded around to the driver side and got in, putting the car in gear.

“How's the cub Trevor?” Kelley asked.

“Just peachy. He's a hand full, but a blessing to us,” Trevor replied, tail wagging happily.

“You have to bring the little guy by sometimes. Would love to see him.”

“We'll do that soon.”

Lilly cuddled under Kelley's chin with a content murr as Kelley kissed her forehead.

“Sophie's in school still?” he asked.

“Yep. Drew's watching over her.”

Issac and Damon went back to their station while Drew stayed. They said if they ever needed them again to call and they'll be there in a flash.

“I got the wedding all planned out love. Just need the rings to be ready along with your dress.”

“Still can't believed I'm getting married. It's so exciting and overwhelming,” Lilly chuckled, tail wagging happily.

“Anybody you want to invite?”

Lilly thought about it before her ears perked.

“How about the doctor who saved me?”

“Dr. Peterson? Sounds good. He did give me the supporters also. Wouldn't be right to not invite him.”

Trevor pulled into Meadow Glen Park and found a spot to park. They got out and sat under a tree, enjoying the day and a great lunch Lilly prepared.

Ryudo let out a content sigh as he sat on the grass looking at the sun go down in the distance. Its been a trying month and to just watch the sun set like this eased his tension a little. He felt his hand get squeezed as he looked to see Gail holding it with a smile.

“You seem so much better,” Gail said.

“Yeah. Guess you could say I needed this. Been a long month and I thank you for putting up with me stripy.”

“That's what mates are for,” Gail replied licking his cheek.

Ryudo chuckled at that before leaning back on his hands. There were a few people around, mostly hybrids enjoying the rest of the day with their cubs as they played with each other with happy giggles and yips.

“Wish Blake could see this,” Ryudo said softly.

“So do I,” Gail replied, ears folding slightly.

“So many scarifies in the name of freedom. But seeing you guys free and enjoying life like you're suppose to is well worth the fight.”

Gail smiled at that, holding Ryudo's hand tightly. He looked over to Derrick and Donna under a tree. Donna was in Derrick's lap, head buried under his chin and eyes closed as Derrick held her close, rubbing her arm softly. Her tail wagged slowly back and forth as she murred in complete content.

“Oh yeah,” Derrick spoke up. “Jessica had twins, both boys. She named one of them after you.”

“Joy,” Ryudo chuckled. “Another me running around.”

“Yeah. Connor happened to see her in the supermarket. She actually looked happy with Brad.”

“Guess I'm happy for her.”

They all sat there content with each other before a ball hit Ryudo on the leg. He looked over to see two small cubs, a lion and collie standing there ears down.

“We're sorry sir,” the lion said softly.

“We didn't mean to disturb you,” the collie said.

Ryudo stood up, grabbing the ball before looking at them.

“You want your ball back?” he asked.

They both nodded timidly. Ryudo gave a soft smile before going to one knee and placing the ball on the grass.

“Come here.”

They walked closer slowly before giggling as Ryudo tickled them both.

“Here you go. Go have fun!”

“Thanks mister,” they yipped happily, tails wagging as they skipped off to join their friends.

Ryudo watched before letting out a sigh. So innocent and now able to lead a happy life. He stood up before heading back to Gail and taking a seat.

“You ever want kids Ryudo?” Gail asked.

Ryudo thought about it before shrugging.

“Not really. I deal with kids every day at work.”

“Yeah. The snobby kind,” Derrick spoke up.

They were quiet again, watching the sun slowly disappear as the stars came out. Ryudo let out a yawn before standing up.

“I better get some sleep. Got a farm to visit for inspection.”

“Okay. We're gonna head back in a few ourselves,” Derrick said.

Ryudo nodded before heading back to the car with Gail in tow.

Kaisl let out a sigh as he plopped down on the couch. Even though the bill was signed and put into effect, that didn't stop his daily trips to the BHA. All day he had to see the broken and bruised hybrids get taken into the building where he heard the desperate howls of hybrids in pain from god knows what. He tried to tell the police about this place, but some of them were in Syzman's pocket still and threatened to ship him back behind bars.

“God, I feel so useless.”

Maybe he could write to Gold about what goes on in that place. Surely he could do something. His stomach growled at him as he hasn't eaten all day. Getting up, he walked into the small kitchen and opened the fridge to see it bare.

“Guess its fast food for me.”

With a sigh, he put his shoes on and headed out into the cool night. People were still out and about on the street as he kept his head down. It was good to see hybrids walking the street without collars around their neck or on their hands and knees. He just wished he had Roman with him. He still couldn't find any trace of him.

“I'll find you Roman. Once I do, nothing will tear us apart again.”

A yelp caught his attention as he looked across the street to see four people picking on a Retriever hybrid and cub.

“Look, just leave us alone. We've done nothing to nobody,” the hybrid said.

“Wrong flea bag. You're free which makes me sick to my stomach,” one of them spoke up pushing the hybrid up against the wall.

“Leave my brother alone,” the cub yipped.

All the men laughed before one of them grabbed the cub from behind by his neck lifting him up.

“And what are you gonna flea bag if we don't?” the men laughed watching the cub struggle.

The older hybrid stood up, paw lashing out and slashing the man holding his brother arm making him yell in pain.

“Big mistake,” another man snarled as they surrounded the retriever who held his brother behind him protectively.

“Looks like we need to teach this mutt a lesson.”

They converged on the hybrid quickly like wolves, knocking him down and raining blows on him left and right. Kaisl seen enough. He looked left and right before finding a piece of pipe. Gripping it, he rushed over, raising it over his head and coming down on the first person he came to. A sick crunch was heard as the man dropped to the ground, blood running down the side of his face and onto the ground.

“What the fuck!!?” another man said, watching his friend go down and stay down.

“Leave them alone or you'll end up like him,” Kaisl said firmly.

“Have you lost your fucking mind boy?”

“Back off!! I mean it,” Kaisl yelled ready to swing again.

The men backed off, helping their friend up and staring daggers at Kaisl.

“Hybrid fucker. We won't forget this.”

They headed off to get their friend some help as Kaisl tossed the pipe down before looking at the hybrid.

“You okay?” Kaisl asked.

“Yeah. Just sore,” the hybrid said, grunting in pain as he stood up. “Thanks for the help.”

“We have to stick together,” Kaisl said with a smile before his stomach growled making the hybrid's ears perk.

“Hungry?”

“You could say that.”

“We were heading home for dinner if you want to join us?”

Kaisl thought about it before nodding.

“Sure, that'll be great.”

“Okay. Let's go.”

Ryudo pulled into the Vector Hybrid Farm, kicking up dust as the tries traversed the dirt ground. He scanned the area seeing all the hybrids walking around and chatting. He pulled up to the farm house and stopped seeing two men waiting for him. One of them he remembered well cause he broke his hand when they first met. He got out, bag and clipboard in hand.

“Welcome doctor Peterson. We've been expecting you,” the one he knew as Bruce spoke up.

“Yeah I know. But I can tell by your face you despise me so let's get this over with.”

“Right. Of course. This way please,” Bruce said with contained anger.

He led him to the barn where he first met Gail. The barn looked twenty times better then when he first saw it. It was painted a dark blue all around with brand new windows and the wood that was eaten away by termites were replaced. The inside was nice also. The second floor had tiny walls separating beds as some hybrids were laying down or talking with each other. They looked over when Ryudo walked in as he looked around.

“Good improvement. At least you replaced the termite infested wood,” Ryudo said writing stuff down on his clipboard.

“Not like we had a choice,” Bruce mumbled quietly under his breath.

“Sucks when you have to do something against your will huh?” Ryudo spoke with a grin.

Bruce didn't say anything but narrowed his eyes angrily. Ryudo continued on his inspection, checking every nook and corner. He also spoke to some of the hybrids in the barn relaxing.

“How is everything here?” he asked a female fox who was sitting on a bed holding her stomach.

“Everything is a little better then the way it was when I first got here.”

“Something wrong with your stomach?”

“I don't know. I'm hungry but every time I eat, it feels like I haven't.”

He set his bag down before kneeling before her.

“Let's check you out really fast.”

He checked her stomach, feeling around until she whined when he hit a spot.

“I felt something move in me,” she whined.

“Hmm, sounds like a tape worm. Pretty easy to get out.”

Reaching in his bag, he took out a notebook before writing something down and handing it to her.

“Hand it over to that dummy when I leave and they'll bring you by and we'll get you fixed up.”

“Thank you,” she said with a smile and a happy wag.

Ryudo nodded before standing up and continuing his inspection before he heard his name called.

“Dr. Peterson?”

He looked down to see the owner standing next to Bruce.

“Yes?” Ryudo said, keeping his inspection going.

“Just checking to see how the inspection is going.”

“You've improved some since the last time I was here. The barn is updated and the hybrids seem to be happy for the most part.”

“Well, we're trying to improve slowly and steadily.”

“We shouldn't be bothering in the first place. These things should submit to us and do what we tell them like the animals they are,” Bruce mumbled.

The few hybrids in the barn growled angrily at that as Bruce didn't even flinch.

“That was uncalled for Bruce,” the man said. “Forgive him Dr. Peterson. He's all muscle and dumb as a tack.”

Ryudo descended the stairs before stopping in front of Bruce who just sneered.

“What? Want me to apologize and stoop down to your standards? Forget it.”

“Bruce watch your mouth!”

“Standards huh? How much are you paying him?”

“Twenty even an hour why?” the owner asked.

“Drop it to nine and let him live like the hybrids.”

Bruce's mouth dropped at that.

“You can't do that! You have no authority.”

“Actually I do. I can have you both removed and replaced leaving you jobless. And with the hybrids taken over the job industry little by little, you won't get one.”

“Consider it done,” the owner said.

“Pete what the fuck man? I have a wife and kid to take care of. Not to mention bills. I can't do that on nine an hour.”

Ryudo smiled before heading to his car.

“Welcome to the hybrid level. Hope you enjoy yourself.”

“If I see you on the street, I'm gonna fuck you up!” Bruce yelled.

“Good luck,” Ryudo smiled, hopping into his car and heading back to the hospital.

Jim sat at the table, coffee in hand as he went through his paper. He still couldn't believe the bill was passed. It was a long time coming and now it came to be. He heard laughter in the living room as his grand kids played with the cubs. May was washing dishes and humming a tune to herself.

“So begins a new age,” Jim said softly.

The door bell rang as he got up to answer it.

“Hey Marcus!” Jim said to the mailman.

“Howdy Jim,” Marcus said, reaching into the bag and pulling out a bundle of mail for him. “Things good for you?”

“Always. We need to get together some time again. I feel like taking more of your money.”

“Ha, don't be an ass. Who'd said you'd win next time?”

Jim smiled at that as Marcus headed back to the mail van. Closing the door, he sat back down as a small wolf cub ran up to him.

“What is that?” he asked, nose twitching.

“Its called bills Harold,” Jim chuckled, lifting him up and placing him on his lap as he giggled, tail wagging happily.

He skimmed through it before coming to a letter from the corrections facility Wade's brother was being held at. He didn't like to be nosy, but he opened it up and read the letter before grunting.

“Fuck,” he sighed softly.

“What's wrong uncle Jim?” Harold whined softly.

“Don't worry about it. You're to young to worry about these things,” he said, ruffling his head making him laugh. “Hey, go get Wade for me.”

“Sure!” Harold yipped happily, jumping down and scampering away.

A few minutes later, Wade came in and sat at the table.

“What's up Jim?”

Jim looked at him with sad eyes which Wade saw.

“What's wrong?”

“I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pried.”

“What are you talking about?”

Jim handed him the letter as Wade read it, watching his feature turn angry as he balled his fists.

“Those fuckers!!” he shouted, slamming his fists down.

“I'm sorry Wade.”

A couple of tears hit the table as Wade shivered. He got up from the table and left in silence as May watched him before looking at Jim.

“What happened Jim?”

“His brother was murdered in jail.”

“Oh no,” May gasped, paw covering her muzzle. “What happened?”

“Probably shanked in the shower and cops turned a blind eye cause he's a hybrid lover.”

May growled at that.

“God, humans are such detestable people. So close minded to different things.”

“Yes we are May. Yes we are.”

Psi sat in the exam room, arm in a cast as he awaited the doctor. His mind still seething on the fight he had with Ryudo. He still couldn't believe he actually lost his first fight. That just added more fuel in his desire for revenge. A knock made him look up as a doctor walked in with a small saw to cut the cast away.

“You ready to be free of that cast?”

“Just cut it off already.”

The doctor nodded, plugging in the saw before taking a seat. The whirling of the saw was all you heard as the doctor cut through the cast. Once it was off, he placed the saw down before lifting his arm.

“Make a fist for me.”

Psi made a fist as the doctor felt along the bone for any kind of lingering damage.

“Good. You healed nicely. Try not to get in anymore fights for a while. You guys are free now. Live a happy life.”

The doctor grabbed the saw and cast before leaving. Psi watched him before grunting. He heard about the bill being passed but he could care less. All that meant to him, was that he couldn't kill anymore without consequences. His phone rang as he flipped it opened.

“Yes?”

How is your arm?”

“All healed.”

Good. Since the bill is in effect, you are free to do what you want,” Syzman said.

“The only thing I want, is to kill that doctor.”

Syzman chuckled at that.

Just be warned that I can't help you now. My company is slowly losing its influence and I may go back to the stock market at the end of the month.”

“I didn't need your help in the first place.”

Sure you didn't. Just don't forget who helped you live out your desire to kill humans without them killing you.”

“Humph,” Psi said, moving his arm around.

But like I said, you are free to do whatever you want.”

Psi was quiet before balling his fist tightly.

“There is one thing I would like from you.”

And that would be?”

“A plane trip back to where he lives. I want to finish this.”

Shelly let out a sigh as she leaned into Nick. They were in Ryudo's backyard enjoying the day with Rose. Nick ran his paws slowly over her stomach which was big with a cub.

“Still can't believe you got her pregnant,” Rose chuckled.

“I think it was time for another one,” Shelly murred. “And I couldn't ask for a better father.”

Nick blushed making them chuckle. He wasn't expecting to knock up Shelly, but with the way they were going at it nonstop, it was no surprise. Gail was a little mad, but was excited to have a little sister. Ryudo kinda expected it and had the spare room made into the cub's room.

“What are you going to name her?” Rose asked.

“Don't know yet. Haven't decided,” Nick shrugged.

“What about you Rose? Don't you want cubs? Maybe Gail could loan you some liquid,” Shelly chuckled.

Rose blushed at that and shook her head.

“As much as I would love Gail as a father, I don't think either or us is ready for that.”

“Well, when your heat comes, what are you gonna do?”

“Hide in a closet.”

They all shared a laugh as Gail walked out. He took a seat next to Rose who avoided eye contact and blushed.

“What's wrong Rose?”

“Nothing. I'm gonna fix me something to eat,” Rose said getting up and heading in the house.

Gail's ears twitched before looking at his mom.

“What's wrong with her?”

“Women issues son. You'll understand one day,” she chuckled.

“Okay,” he nodded, looking at her stomach. “Still kind of shocked I'm getting a sister.”

Shelly smiled before interlocking Nick's hands as they traced over her stomach.

“I think it was time. I'm not getting any younger.”

“This your first kid Nick?” Gail asked.

“Very first. And I wouldn't ask for a better mother then this beautiful lady,” he murred, leaning down and nuzzling her.

His pager went off as he reached down and pulled it off his belt looking at it.

“Looks like I'm needed on site. I'll catch you late my angel.”

“Have a good day my knight.”

They gave each other a few deep kisses before Nick took off. Shelley watched him before looking at Gail.

“Gail, why not think about kids? I'm sure Ryudo wouldn't mind if you and Rose got together. I would love grandchildren to hug.”

“I don't think I'm ready mom.”

Shelly chuckled before leaning on the tree.

“You never know. You're a lot more mature then you think you are.”

Gail sat there, mind going a mile a minute before Shelly giggled.

“Oh, I can feel the kicks. Want to feel?”

Gail nodded before sliding over and resting his cheek on her stomach. He barely felt the small nudge but it made him smile nonetheless. Maybe he'll talk to both Rose and Ryudo about the idea. But for now, he was content with how things were at the moment.

Kelley let out a sigh as the day ended for the meeting. He made good progress with lots of bills thanks to help from other congressmen who didn't want to help, but did it because they would lose their supporters if they didn't.

The main big bills was the UAH or Union Association for Hybrids. This union allowed them to have good wages and health insurance along with housing. His next big task would be to try and get rid of the BHA. He knew all about their schemes but was powerless to do anything until now. The only question was where to find their facilities. He walked out to the cool evening air as Trevor was waiting for him with a smile and a happy wag.

“Ready to go home?” Trevor grinned.

“More then ready.”

“Well, lets go.”

Kelley hopped into the back seat and let out a sigh, feeling the car go into motion.

“Things are moving nicely. I got the bills passed that I wanted and pretty soon this country will be a true melting pot.”

“Great news.”

“Yep. Everything is all coming together.”

Trevor smiled before his phone vibrated on the dashboard as he answered it.

“Hello? Hey hun. Sure I don't mind. I'll be there in ten,” he said hanging up. “I need to pick up my son cause the ladies want to go out for a bit. You don't mind do you?”

“Of course not. Would be an honor to see them.”

Trevor nodded before heading to his home. He lived in a nice neighborhood where all the houses were high class as Kelley whistled.

“Wow. This is a pretty place but expensive.”

“Carol is a medical biller and coder so she makes enough. Plus my mate helps also with her pastries that she cooks.”

He pulled into the driveway of a two story house as an afghan and a slim lady were waiting on the front porch. The afghan had a small cub in her arms and a smile on her muzzle. They got out as Trevor walked over to his mate and kissed her happily.

“Sorry for bringing this up on the spur of the moment Trevor,” Carol said.

“Nonsense. You girls go enjoy yourselves.”

He grabbed his son gently as he yipped happily. The girls huddled into the car and took off, waving hi to Kelley. Walking over, Kelley looked at the little pup who looked back with curious diamond eyes.

“Care to hold him?” Trevor asked.

“Sure.”

Trevor handed him gently over to Kelley who cradled him. He couldn't help but smile as he used one finger to tickle his chin making him giggle and yip happily.

“He's adorable.”

“Thanks. Let's get you home now.”

//////

Thanks you for everything Dr. Peterson.”

“Not a problem. I'll be sure to email everything over first thing tomorrow morning,” Ryudo said typing away.

Okay. Have a good night.”

Ryudo hung up with a sigh, still typing. Its been a long day of inspections but he was finally done. Gloria walked in after knocking, folders in her paws.

“Hey Gloria, what's up?”

“I just finished up all the reports for you.”

“That's great! You're a life saver. I could kiss you,” Ryudo said making a huge blush appear around her cheeks.

“Th....thank you.”

He finished the last sentence before saving and standing up, stretching his limbs. Grabbing his jacket, he put his computer in sleep mode before heading out, Gloria beside him.

“Once you file those away, we'll be all caught up. I couldn't have done it without you.”

“There are plenty others that work here and do about as much as me.”

“True. Everybody here pulls their weight. But they aren't as cuddly as you.”

Gloria blushed heavily making Ryudo laugh. They reached the front desk as she placed the folders down next to a skunk who smiled.

“Ladies, I'm gone. If you need me, call.”

“Okay Dr. Peterson,” the skunk said before answering the phone.

“Have a good night Ryudo,” Gloria added.

Ryudo nodded before taking the elevator down to the first floor, waving to the guards. Getting in his car, he made a beeline to his home, head dipping up and down from fatigue. Arriving, he killed the engine and walked inside to see Rose and Gail talking to each other. Their ears perked when he walked in, tails wagging happily.

“Good evening Ryudo,” they said together.

“Hey,” Ryudo replied tiredly.

“Do you think we could speak with you for a second?” Rose asked.

“Sure thing.”

Ryudo took a seat after taking off his shoes and looked at them. He could tell they were nervous cause their tails twitched left and right.

“So what's up?”

“Well, me and Gail were talking for awhile now. I've been here for a month and I love every minute being here with all of you, Gail especially. So um....gosh this is so hard to say,” Rose blushed.

“What she's trying to say is, after seeing mom pregnant, she would like to have one of her own in the future, with me being the father,” Gail finished.

Ryudo was quiet before chuckling.

“And I should care why?”

“Well, we're mates and I feel like it would be cheating on you,” Gail said.

“Stripy, my only concern has been and always will be you guys happiness. Yes we're mates, but I don't own you. You've always been free to make your own decision. If you two want to make a cub together, more power to you. The only thing I ask, is that you both be ready to take on the responsibility that comes with it.”

They looked at each other for a brief second before back at Ryudo.

“We're still discussing it, but we believe we can handle it,” Rose said.

Ryudo smiled before getting up with a stretch.

“Then discuss away to your hearts content and let me know what you both decide to do. I'm going to bed. Super tired.”

They watched him leave before Rose chuckled.

“Wow, that went smoother then I thought. I figured he'd throw a fit.”

“Ryudo's not like that. That's why he's the perfect mate. I'm gonna join him. We'll talk more tomorrow if that's okay?”

“Sure thing,” Rose smiled.

Gail smiled, giving her a gentle nuzzle on the cheek before heading up. Rose watched him before running her hand up and down her trim stomach before smiling.

“Me getting pregnant? Never thought I would be thinking about that. You would probably laugh at me right now for thinking about it huh Ginger?”

Roman let out a grunt as he tossed the last pile of hay on the truck.

“Alright, that's the last one. Thanks Roman,” the horse said hopping down.

“Not a problem. Glad to help.”

The horse patted his shoulder and got into the truck before driving away. His stomach growled angrily at him as he chuckled.

“Guess I'll grab some lunch.”

He walked towards the dining hall, seeing all the hybrids enter as well. Standing in line, he grabbed a tray of food before taking a seat. After his altercation, he tried his best to do whatever it took to gain their trust. It took a bit, but a few started to trust him and speak with him. Aaron sat next to him with a smile.

“Hey Roman!”

“Good afternoon.”

“Aren't you happy you guys are free now?”

“Very happy. To be honest, it took long enough.”

Aaron chuckled at that before biting into the large cheeseburger in his hands. Roman took a sip of lemonade before something caught his eye. He saw a small crowd of hybrids walk towards the armory. Curiosity got the best of him as he followed them into the planning room.

“So what's up Wade?” a wolverine asked.

“My brother was killed in jail because of his life style.”

“I'm sorry to hear that,” a poodle added.

“They let him die in jail without caring. But that's not what I asked volunteers for.”

“What did you ask for then?” a bulldog asked.

“I need to get his lover out of the BHA.”

All the hybrids looked at each other in confusion. The BHA was a hard place to get into, never mind trying to get out. The guards there are ordered to shoot to kill on sight.

“That's asking a lot. It's almost a suicide mission. Did you ask Jim about it?” a panther asked.

“No. This is something I have to do without him. I need to save the only thing I have to remember my brother by. You don't have to go, thus the reason I said volunteers. If you want to go, just raise your hand.”

Out of the fifteen hybrids there, only ten of them raised their hands, one of them being Roman as Wade looked at him.

“And why are you coming along? This has nothing to do with you.”

“I want to be as helpful as I can regardless of what I need to do.”

Wade looked at him for a bit before smiling.

“Very noble of you. Alright, those who volunteered, stay here and we'll go over the plan of action. The rest of you, please don't tell Jim about this. I want to handle this on my own.”

The plane landed with a soft thump before coming to a stop at gate six. All the passengers flooded out, grabbing their bags before meeting their family members or friends in the arrival area. Psi retrieved his backpack before heading out. Once outside, the sun made him squint in annoyance as he shielded his eyes. His phone vibrated in his pocket as he dug it out.

“Yes?”

You're on your own now,” Syzman said. “Nothing more I can do for you.”

“Fine.”

You really going to go through with this? If you do kill him and the repercussions ripple down to me, I'll kill you myself.”

Psi gave a toothy grin at that before chuckling.

“That's if I don't kill you first. You won't see me coming.”

Doesn't mean you're unstoppable. Don't get cocky or you'll find out how evil I can really get,” Syzman growled. “I may not have the power I use to have, but I still have enough to take out a flea like you.”

“Humph, we'll see won't we?”

Psi hung up with a grunt before pocketing his phone.

“I'll make sure to take you out very painfully. Your usefulness has ended.”

He hailed a cab and got into the back. Giving the driver the address, he sat back watching the scenery go by. First thing he had to do, was make sure his safe house was still there. Looking out the window, he saw all the collarless hybrids walking and working with each other.

“Pathetic. Bunch of worms walking around like they're all that.”

The cab pulled up to a ten story apartment complex. Paying the driver, he walked up the stairs and unlocked the door with the key. Hopping up the stairs, he stopped at the seventh floor and to door ten. Looking around, he felt along the wall before feeling a bump in the paint.

“Right where I left it.”

Peeling the duck tape back, he plucked the key off before opening the door to the vacant apartment. Dropping the bag, he took a look out the window at the city.

“Humph. I don't want to stay here any longer then I need to.”

He tapped the floor boards, finding the loose one and pulling it up revealing a semi automatic and some money. Grabbing the gun, he check the clip before sliding it back in and pulling the chamber back.

“Alright, time to set the stage. You won't get lucky again doctor.”

/////

Ryudo watched the screen as the dye was injected into the vein. Soon a couple of black dots appeared as he smiled.

“Gotcha. Okay, inserting needle now. Nurse, zoom in a little for me.”

The bunny nodded, increasing the image as Ryudo guided the needle through the vein. He guided the needle until coming to one of the black dots. Twisting the needle, it attached to the dot before being carefully pulled out. Once he pulled it out, the nurse had a little small dish as he placed it inside.

“Alright, two more.”

After forty five minutes, he had all the clots out of the beaver's body as he stitched her up.

“Alright, bring her to her room and tell the family she'll be just fine.”

“Yes Dr. Peterson.”

He watched as they wheeled her out before taking off his gloves and scrubbing down. A sigh escaped him as he dried his hands and headed out the surgery room.

“That took longer then I thought. Time for some lunch.”

He headed up to the cafeteria where some of the staff was relaxing and chatting away.

“Well if it isn't my favorite test subject,” Michelle said with a smile behind the counter.

Ryudo chuckled at that. Michelle was always having him try new recipes before letting the patients try it. Ninety percent of the time, it was good.

“What have you got for me today?”

“Your favorite, homemade chicken and dumplings with fresh veggies.”

“Outstanding. I'll take a plate!”

“Already had it prepared for you since you come around this time everyday,” Michelle smiled handing him a plate.

“You're the best.”

“I know,” Michelle winked at him.

Ryudo chuckled at before taking a seat next to Hunt who smiled.

“How'd it go?”

“Longer then I expected. She had more clots then I thought.”

“It happens. We finally got that heart. Should be here in the next ten minutes.”

“Okay. I'll leave it to you. Don't hesitate to call me.”

“Who do you think your talking to?” Hunt smiled before hearing his pager go off. “And its here early. Good. I'll get going.”

Ryudo watched him before feeling his pocket vibrate as he pulled out his phone. He didn't recognize the number as he answered it.

“Dr. Peterson speaking.”

Greetings doctor.”

Ryudo tensed sharply at that voice. He knew exactly who that voice belonged to.

“Psi,” he said angrily.

The one and only.”

“You have a lot of guts to call after what you did.”

Psi chuckled at that.

Just following orders. But now that we're free, I want to settle the score. See, you made me look pathetic. I never lost before in my life and I won't rest until you are on the floor cold underneath my claws.”

“The feeling's mutual. You're gonna pay for what you did to Blake and Caroline.”

We'll see about that. I'll let you know where your death bed will be at. And come alone. We're gonna settle this one on one.”

The line went dead as Ryudo slammed his fist down on the table.

“You damn right we're gonna settle this. You're gonna pay. A life for a life.”

Kelley walked through the mall, holding Sonya's hand as she skipped along in between him and Lilly. He decided to take a day off from meetings to relax and enjoy the day with his family.

“Hey daddy look! It's my favorite toy shop. Can we go in?”

“Sure thing sweetheart.”

She skipped inside heading to the doll section and saying hi to the other kids and cubs. Kelley and Lilly walked in with a smile.

“Its fun to be out like this,” Lilly murred.

“Indeed. No more collars.”

Lilly's ears perked as she passed the puzzle section, tail wagging happily.

“Oh, jigsaw puzzles! I haven't done one in ages.”

“What's the highest piece count you did?” Kelley asked.

“Five hundred. I wanted a bigger one but your mom didn't have one.”

She looked through all of them before spotting one that caught her eye. It was one of a wolf pack playing in a field of flowers.

“I love this one.”

“Five thousand pieces huh? Can you handle it love?”

“It'll be long, but I can do it.”

“You want to hang it up afterwards?”

She looked at him confusion.

“How do you do that without it breaking apart?”

“By using this,” Kelly said grabbing a bottle of puzzle glue. “Good for up to ten thousand pieces. All we need is a frame.”

Her tail wagged happily as Sonya skipped back to them holding a doll and a collie plushie.

“Can I get these?”

“Of course. Lets get our stuff and grab some lunch and ice cream,” Kelley said happily.

They walked up to the register where a slime man was replacing plastic bags.

“Hi there, welcome to Toys Inc.. Find everything okay?”

“Yep.”

He started ringing them up when he looked at Kelley again.

“Aren't you Congressmen Gold?”

“That's me.”

“I knew it! My dad lost almost everything thanks to you.”

Kelley looked at him in confusion.

“I'm sorry what?”

“Since you got that stupid bill passed, the hybrids we controlled refused to work unless they got better treatment and some kind of compensation. My dad couldn't afford to pay them and keep the business going so the hybrids left and he had to shut down his cleaning business. Now he's barely able to pay the bills and I've been working two jobs just to help.”

“I'm sorry about your troubles. But there's no reason why hybrids still have to be treated poorly.”

“Because they are worthless creatures only good for labor.”

Lilly folded her ears a little as Kelley frowned.

“I see. Well since you think that way, guess we'll shop somewhere else.”

“Good. Get the hell out of here.”

Another man walked over, hands in his pockets along with a smile.

“Greetings! Is everything good over here?”

“Apparently your employee is mad at me for letting hybrids be free and told me to get the hell out.”

“Is this true Paxson?”

Paxson grunted before shrugging.

“So what if I did? Its his fault my family is suffering.”

“Doesn't matter. It's not professional. This is your fourth complaint in the last couple of days. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to let you go.”

Paxson looked shocked but snorted.

“Whatever. Tired of seeing these flea circuses walking around thinking they own the world.”

Paxson stepped behind the counter, making sure to slam his shoulder into Kelly while leaving. The manager sighed before bowing his head a little.

“Sorry for the rude behavior Mr. Congressmen. Paxson is a good kid, just lots of issues at home.”

“Yeah he told me. Its okay though. How much?”

“Seventeen forty nine.”

Kelly paid for the stuff before leaving as Lilly had her ears folded a little.

“Don't let it get to you love. People like that need to learn the hard way to adopt.”

“I guess,” she said softly. “Still hurts that people still see us as nothing more then beasts good for only labor.”

Kelly frowned but smiled as he reached over and tickled her chin making her giggle.

“That's better. No worrying about things that's already happened. Now, lets get some ice cream.”

Laughter filled the living room as the girls chuckled away.

“I can't wait til she's born. I want to be the first to hold her,” Donna smiled looking at Shelly's swollen belly.

“Sorry girlfriend. I get first bids,” Rose grinned.

Shelly chuckled before shivering a little feeling the cub kick a little.

“She wants out now it seems. Can't stop kicking. So did you and Gail have a nice chat?”

“We did along with Ryudo. And he was totally cool with it. I've never seen anybody like him before,” Rose said.

“Yeah, Ryudo is one of a kind. Just like Derrick,” Donna murred.

A knock was heard as Rose stood up to answer it. Opening it, she saw a chameleon standing there with an envelope.

“Can I help you?” Rose asked with a smile.

“Yes. I have something for you to give to your master Ryudo.”

He handed her the envelope before walking down the walkway.

“Wait! Who should I say it's from?”

The chameleon stopped and turned its head giving an evil smile.

“He'll know. Just tell him we'll settle this at the place on the paper.”

She watched him walk away before shrugging her shoulders and heading back in, sitting on the love seat.

“Who was it?” Shelly asked.

“Some strange lizard with a letter for Ryudo,” she said showing the envelope.

Shelly bared her teeth a little at that.

“That's the asshole who killed Blake and Caroline. What did he say?”

“All he said is that we'll settle it at the place on the letter.”

Shelly was quiet before giving a soft whine.

“I hope nothing happens to Ryudo. It would tear not only me, but Gail apart.”

/////

Syzman let out a sigh of frustration as he did his paperwork. The last couple of farms he owned have been completely transformed. All the hybrids demanded better work environment and compensation. He tore a check from the company book for six grand to send to one of those farms for remolding and pay.

“Well, we're almost in the hole. I hope Kelly's laughing at our expense.”

His phone rang as he hit the speaker button.

“Yes?”

The Exist Archive company just pulled out Ed. We lost our last client and supporter,” Hanley said over the phone.

“What else is new? We've been losing clients left and right.”

Guess its time for something new huh?”

Syzman grunted at that.

“Five years we've been in business. Making millions on hybrid trades and construction. We were number one in the country by far. Then, we're stopped at the inspection stage by a punk ass kid who thinks he's all that cause he's head doctor. And now Kelly gets the bill passed freeing hybrids and putting the icing on the cake.”

Guess its time for the new generation to begin huh?” Hanley chuckled. “I'm gonna be gone at the end of the week. Gonna head back to my old warehouse job as a supervisor. They said they would take me back. Nice working with you Ed.”

“Same Hanley. Have a good one. Let's meet up one day.”

Sure thing,” Hanley said before hanging up.

Syzman hit the end button before sighing. Everyone was leaving left and right now that the bill was signed. There was no reason to stay anymore now that they weren't making the money they use to. He didn't blame them. He was pretty much done anyway. The phone rang again as he hit the speaker.

“Yeah?”

The last of the hybrid rejects will be delivered after today. What do you want to do with the delivery boy?”

Syzman was quiet before shrugging his shoulders.

“After he drops off, send him back to jail. Tell the judge he violated his contract. No reason for him to be free if he's not working.”

//////

Ramon sat in the small room, eyes glued to Wade as he discussed what was going on and how.

“First, I want to thank those again that volunteered. I know I'm asking a lot, but I would love nothing more then to free my brother's lover from that place.”

“Do you know where he or she's being held at?” a panda asked.

“From what my sources told me, all holding cells are on the third floor. So except the elevator to not be an option.”

“Do we go in guns blazing?” a jackal asked.

“No. I want to try and be as quiet as possible. We are few and they are many.”

“What if we get caught?” a zebra asked.

Wade was quiet before looking at everybody.

“Then you fight for your survival. Nothing else matters.”

Everybody nodded their heads at that.

“If there are no more questions, then let's get prepared to leave at night. Get yourself mentally ready for your biggest test.”

Ramon left along with everyone else. He wasn't any good with fire arms, so he was gonna be the look out for everybody. He didn't mind though. He just wanted to be useful and gain their trust some more. Getting to the lunch room, he grabbed a quick sandwich and some apple juice before taking a seat and munching down.

“Hey Ramon!” Aaron said sitting next to him..

“Hey Aaron.”

“What's this I hear about rescuing a hybrid?” he asked in a hushed voice.

Ramon looked at him before around and spoke softly.

“Wade's trying to break his brother's hybrid lover out of the BHA facility.”

“I heard about that place. Some hybrids said it was hell.”

“It is,” Ramon said with a shiver remembering his time in that place. “What goes on in there is inhumane.”

“Were you there?”

Roman nodded grimly.

“I was. It was the worst experience of my life. They didn't care at all about us in there. Doing weird experiments and feeding us puke in a bag. That's when this Syzman gave me the chance to be free. I took it. Its how I ended up here.”

“Sorry to hear that,” Aaron said softly.

“Its okay. That's the reason I'm going with them.”

They sat there quietly until Amanda tackled Aaron from behind with a playful growl nipping his neck.

“Sneaking away from me huh?” she growled playfully.

“Sorry cutie. I was hungry,” Aaron chuckled tickling her chin making her murr. “Be safe out there Roman.”

“I will. Thanks.”

Aaron nodded before getting up and walking out, holding Amanda by the waist as her tail wagged happily.

“Hopefully I can save her as well.”

///////

Night time hit as Ryudo pulled into the driveway. His mind still focused on Psi. He was gonna make him pay for what he did to Blake and Caroline. Unlocking the door, he walked in and took off his shoes. Walking into the living room he saw Shelly relaxing on the couch, paws propped up as she rubbed her belly softly. Looking up, she gave him a warm smile and a happy wag.

“Welcome home Ryudo.”

“Hey Shelly. You comfy enough?”

“Oh yeah. Could use a paw massage though.”

“Say no more.”

Ryudo walked over and took a seat, lifting her legs onto his lap before massaging her paws. She let out a soft moan, feeling her paw pads being caressed and rubbed.

“Oh god Ryudo, that's heavenly.”

“Glad you like it.”

Her eyes closed happily making Ryudo smile seeing her so relaxed and comfy. Then her pleasure ridden brain remembered about the envelope.

“Ryudo, that asshole came here today.”

“What asshole?”

“Look on the end table.”

Ryudo looked over to see the envelope Psi left as he reached over and opened it. His eyes scanned the letter before a growl left his throat.

“He wants to finish this huh? Fine by me.”

“Ryudo,” Shelly said softly making him look at her. “Don't do anything rash. As much as I want him to suffer for what he did, don't sink to his level. You are a better person then that.”

Ryudo looked at her before giving a smile. It was exactly what Mrs. Johnson said to him at the funeral. He walked over and gave her a kiss making jump a little before kissing him back. He broke off and tickled her chin making her murr.

“Thanks mom.”

“No problem son,” she giggled before shivering. “She wants out so bad.”

Ryudo leaned down, putting his cheek on her stomach and felt the small kick.

“It won't be long now mom. Maybe another couple of days then you'll have your little bundle of joy.”

“I can't wait.”

Ryudo smiled before walking towards the stairs and heading up. When he got to the top, he head a subtle moan coming from his room. He rolled his eyes before sneaking up and entering. There, he saw Rose on the bed, legs spread as Gail was going to town on her.

“Oh fuck Gail,” she mewled softly, rubbing and squeezing her breasts.

Gail just growled his approval, tongue worming his way inside her tunnel and licking everything he could. He never did this before, only having done Rose from the behind. Her scent was something special to his nose, never having smelt a female in pure need before. His hard on raged underneath him, wanting to plunge into the needy female in front of him. Pre dripped onto the sheets below with each heartbeat.

“Take me Gail. I need it so bad.”

Gail licked his lips with a growl, kissing his way up her body before meeting her muzzle with a greedy kiss. She kissed back just as hungrily, claws racking his back and leaving small trail of red. They broke off panting hotly in each others face before Gail lined himself up and pushed in, groaning at the tightness as the slick walls pulsed around his length.

“Mmm, so tight,” Gail whined, ears folded.

“Yes Gail, take me,” she whined, pushing her hips a little.

Gail pulled his hips back, feeling her muscles trying to keep him inside before relaxing as he pushed in. They started off slow, each feeling each other out and enjoying the closeness. They never even heard Ryudo take his clothes off and start to stroke his length at the show. The bed started to creak harder and faster as Gail pushed his body faster into her.

“Fuck Rose, I feel you squeezing me harder and harder,” Gail panted. “Are you loving this kitty?”

“Yes my hyena cutie,” Rose panted, looking into those gold eyes before kissing him hotly.

Gail moaned into the kiss, before getting to his knees, holding Rose by the thighs and slamming into her as she screamed in pleasure.

“That's it Rose. Scream for me,” Gail growled, hearing his hips slap hard against her.

Her scent was overflowing in his nose bringing him to a high lust state. He was so occupied into claiming the body under him that he didn't feel the bed shift behind him. But he did let out a yelp of surprise as he was pushed forward.

“Mind if I join in on the fun?” Ryudo said, lifting Gail's tail.

Gail composed himself as Rose chuckled.

“Don't scare me like that,” Gail grumbled softly but murred as Ryudo rubbed his flank and back.

“Sorry. But this was turning me on to much to disturb you. Are you ready to continue with me?”

“Absolutely,” he murred.

Ryudo smiled before poking the twitching hole. With a moan, he pushed into the hot confines of Gail hole making him groan in pleasure, eyes rolling into the back of his head making Rose chuckle.

“Looks like he's in another world.”

“You would be too if you felt what I'm feeling,” Gail moaned.

“I did remember?”

“Shall we begin stripy? I'll let you go first.”

Gail composed himself enough through the pleasure to start thrusting again. Ryudo let him get into a groove before he started himself. The rhythm was off a little, but soon they fell into sync with each other, Gail pushing in and Ryudo out. Once Gail pulled out, Ryudo pushed in and so on.

“Oh god,” Gail whined, feeling the double pleasure beginning to make him loopy.

Rose let out a yelp, her tunnel convulsing through a climax as it squeezed Gail mercilessly making him snarl.

“Fuck. More, give me more,” Rose whined, clawing at the blankets.

Gail's body started to shiver heavily. He never felt double pleasure like this and it was catching up to him rapidly. Ryudo smiled as he caressed Gail's chest softly, squeezing his nipples and rubbing his stomach.

“Let it go stripy,” Ryudo breathed softly in his ear.

Gail tensed up before letting out a bark as he came hard into Rose's tunnel. Rose tensed, eyes wide as that creamy milk filled her tunnel. It was hot and made her shiver from head to toe. Ryudo stopped his thrusts, kissing Gail's cheek as he murred.

“Man, that was intense,” Gail panted.

“Indeed. But I still haven't cum yet. Which means, you belong to me,” Ryudo whispered into his ear making him shiver.

He pushed him on top on Rose making her let out an oof. Gripping his hips, he started to go town on Gail's behind making him yelp.

“Yes Ryudo, yes,” he whimpered, pushing back into his thrusts.

While he was pushing back, he was also pushing into Rose making her mewl softly, holding him close as her pleasure built up again. Ryudo's balls slapped firmly against Gail's as he pushed as far as he could. The slick sound of his penis pushing in and out of that hot tunnel was all he focused on, pre coating it in preparation for what to come.

“Oh god, I'm.....gonna cum.....again,” Gail moaned.

“That's.....the point stripy,” Ryudo replied.

He could feel his climax building as each push brought him closer. Gail could feel Rose squeezing him harder as she whined, holding him tighter. The room was filled to capacity with their scent driving their lust higher.

“Fuck stripy, your tighten up on me so much. Can't......hold on much longer.”

“Fuck....Ryudo, just cum. Fill your mate,” Gail barked out.

Ryudo grunted, leaning down and pounding into that hyena ass with all the strength he could. Gail's eyes went wide in shock, never feeling Ryudo pound him like this. His prostate was in a world of hurt but it was nothing but pleasure. He felt his balls pull painful into his body. And the extra simulation from Rose wasn't helping either as she let out a yowl cumming again. That pushed him over the edge as he barked loudly, filling her tunnel again. That hot tunnel Ryudo was plowing collapsed onto him making him growl himself. He gave a few more powerful thrusts before locking his hips and unloading into Gail.

“Fuck,” Ryudo moaned, holding Gail tightly.

They all laid there, tangled in each others arms. Rose let out a purr as she could feel Gail's cum leak out and stick to her fur.

“Mmm, that was great,” Rose said tiredly.

“No kidding,” Gail panted.

“Just what I needed after a long day. Not that the show you two were giving couldn't get me off,” Ryudo chuckled making them both blush.

He pulled out slowly, seeing a line of his cum still stuck to the tip before breaking off and sticking to Gail's backside. Getting up, he went to the dresser and grab some undergarments to take a shower. His mind was somewhat at ease after that but he remembered he had a score to settle with a certain lizard. Getting clean, he went back to his room where Gail and Rose were cuddled together, smiles on their muzzles. Grabbing some flexible clothes, he headed back downstairs to see Shelly sleeping soundly. He walked over and pulled the small cover over her body making her sigh softly. Taking one last look at her, he put on his shoes before walking out the door. Getting into his car, he started it up and pulled out to meet the bastard.

Psi sat in the chair, one leg crossed as he awaited the arrival of the good doctor. He figured the place where his best friend died would be a fitting place for him. That way when he killed him, he could join his spirit in hell. He heard a car pull up as an evil smile appeared.

“The victim is here. Time for the final curtain to fall on this drama.”

Ryudo pulled up to the old factory. Memories about what happened surged through him making him angrier. The entrance still had police tape around it as Ryudo ducked under it. Chills ran up his spine as he could still hear the pleas for help from Blake and Caroline trapped in that container. He made it to the same room to see Psi sitting there, arms crossed as well as his leg.

“Welcome to your last day on Earth,” Psi said angrily.

“You took the words right out my mouth,” Ryudo replied.

///////

The van pulled to a stop behind the large hill as Wade killed the engine.

“Alright, this is the place. Let's get ready.”

All ten of the hybrids including Roman hopped out, grabbing the stuff they would need. A skunk looked through a pair of night vision goggles at the area.

“Three guards stationed at the entrance with what looks like M-16s. Fence doesn't appear to be electrified so we could slip in through a dark corner.”

“Alright, we do this as quietly as we can. I want to leave with everyone intact. No one gets left behind. Are we ready?”

Everybody nodded as Wade took a deep breath.

“Ok, lets go.”

They eased their way towards the facility quietly and swiftly. Reaching a blind spot in the fence, a badger took out some bolt cutters and made a hole for everybody to squeeze through. Once through, they pushed forward to the back where a truck was making a delivery. Wade hugged the wall as he heard people talking.

“How long before this place gets shut down?”

“Don't know. Kinda sucks though. Its a simple job.”

“How can you stand the smell though?”

“First couple of days is hell. But after a while, you get accustomed to it.”

A metal sliding door was closed with a bang.

“Well that's probably the last load you'll get from us since the bill is in effect. I'm gonna go home after this last stop and make sweet love to the girlfriend.”

“Sounds good. I gotta a chow chow in there I plow every night.”

“Seriously?”

“Hey, a hole's a hole. I never thought about it at first. But one night, I just gave in.”

A chuckle was heard at that.

“Was it any good?”

“Tightest hole I ever fucked. Even though I had to gag her from screaming. Now, she just lays there and accepts it. Still cries though the whole thing but I don't care.”

“To each his own. I need to get going. One more stop and I'm done.”

“Alright. Have a good night Murphy.”

“You to Stewart.”

The truck started with a roar as it pulled off. Once the truck was gone, Wade stepped around the corner to where the guard was. He waited until his back was turned before grabbing him in a choke hold and pulling him back into the darkness.

“What the fuck!?” Stewart shouted before tensing as a gun was pressed to his head.

“Listen good Stewart cause I'll only say it once. Where are the holding cells for the hybrids?”

“T....thir.....third floor,” he stuttered out.

“How do I get in?”

“Key-card.”

Wade frisked him before finding the card in his pocket.

“By the way, that chow chow is my brother's lover. You have no right to do that to her.”

“So what? Wasn't like she was going anywhere. So why waste free sex?”

Wade's eyes narrowed at that as Stewart just smiled smugly. He had no regret when a couple of piffs were heard as three bullets embedded Stewart's body.

“What are we going to do about the cameras?” a weasel asked.

“We kill the lights. Kain, you and Rolf find the power box since you blend better in the darkness.”

The doberman and panther nodded before slinking off into the darkness. They waited for a bit until everything went black. The generators kicked in as commotion was heard in the distance.

“Okay, lets go,” Wade said hopping up the loading dock ramp.

“What about the cameras?” Roman asked.

“Backup generators only power up the doors so people can get out. Let's go.”

Using the key-card, they entered the large facility.

Psi stood up from his chair, kicking it aside as his eyes narrowed looking at Ryudo.

“I've waited a month in a cast for this moment. Today, I'll break your neck.”

Ryudo slid the weight lifting gloves he had in his pocket on his hands, balling his fists tightly hearing the leather bend a little.

“My words exactly.”

Psi reached around his back, pulling out the gun he had as Ryudo stood there.

“It would be so easy to finish this. Just one squeeze and its over.”

He tapped the gun on his snout a couple of times before snorting and tossing it aside.

“But if I did that, I wouldn't get to see your bruised and bloody body on the ground begging for me to kill you.”

They each took a step forward before circling each other. Their eyes told the story of each individual. They wanted the other dead. Nothing else would work. Psi advanced first, coming at Ryudo with a flurry of quick strikes. Ryudo stood firm, deftly blocking each attack before countering with his own. They locked hands in a test of strength, trying to overpower the other.

Psi's shoulder may have been healed, but even he could feel the slight weakness in it. With a growl, he pulled Ryudo closer before thrusting his head forward and catching Ryudo in the nose shaking him up in surprise. That's when Psi went on the attack with brutal, precision strikes to his body before rearing back and striking him to the ground with a vicious right.

“Seems you've gotten better since the last time,” Psi panted.

He kicked him hard in the ribs making Ryudo grunt and tumble a little on the floor.

“I'm really going to enjoy watching you die, doctor.”

Psi brought his foot down hard on the back of Ryudo's knee making him yell in pain which brought a smile to Psi's muzzle. He did it several more times before landing a last kick to the lower back of Ryudo's spine.

“Come on doctor. Where's that rage you had last time? Or was that a one time wonder?”

He brought his foot down to Ryudo's leg, just to see him move to the side before kicking the back of his knee. Psi let out a surprise gasp, going to one knee before a glove fist connected to the left side of his cheek sending him sliding to the ground in a daze.

“Don't worry about the rage,” Ryudo grunted getting to his feet wobbly. “It's still there. Every bit of it. And you're about to take all of it.”

Psi grunted before spitting on the ground which had traces of blood from his busted lip. He stood up with a growl before going transparent.

“You got lucky the first time. Lets see if lady luck is on your side again.”

Ryudo stood his ground, arms up in a defensive stance. He let out a grunt feeling a hard kidney shot and swinging at the empty air. More blows riddled his body as he tried to determine Psi's location. A sharp kick to the back of his tender knee brought his down before another vicious punch sent him to the ground.

“You have no idea how much fun this is,” Psi said with a wicked chuckle.

Ryudo let out a gasp of pain, his body swimming in pain. This was just like last time. Only this time, there was no time limit. There had to be a way around his ability. Before he could think, he let out a scream as Psi broke a board over his back with glee.

“Does it hurt that much sonny boy?” Psi mocked before grabbing another board and bringing it down on Ryudo's back with a sick thud.

The pain was starting to add up as a few tears came down his cheek. He was going to be so sore after this, or if he lived through this. Then something in his pain riddled brain remembered what one of his self defense teachers told him. “If you lose one of your senses, focus on the other ones. Your senses work as a unit and if one goes down, the others will back it up.” A weak smile came across his face as he tried to pull his body up.

“Still got some fight in you huh? Good. I'm not done punishing you yet.”

Ryudo got to his feet weakly, every part of his body screaming at him. He opened his eyes and couldn't help but smile.

“Why the smile? Are you going crazy now?”

“No. Because I'm having fun.”

“Fun? You call me kicking your ass fun?”

“Yep. My teachers always told me that I look better when I smile cause it means I'm enjoying myself. They told me I was taking training to seriously and to smile more and enjoy myself.”

“Don't worry. I'll make sure to paint a clown smile on your face when you die.”

Psi advanced on him again, looking to take the good doctor out permanently. He reared back his fist, looking to break Ryudo's nose or jaw. To his surprise, Ryudo caught his arm, driving his elbow into Psi's ribs before connecting with a left right combo followed by a kick to the chest sending Psi sliding to the ground.

“They also told me, I'm at my most dangerous when I smile.”

Psi held his chest before covering his muzzle from the cough of blood as it covered his paw. He let out an angry roar before launching himself at Ryudo in a blind rage. Ryudo kept his smile up as he deflected and parried the wild blows. His counters were spot on, hitting vital joints and tender spots on the chameleon's body staggering him with each hit. Psi's back hit the large pole making him grunt. He was panting hard as his body ached all over. Every hit delivered to his joints was making it harder to move them.

“Seems like your at your limit,” Ryudo said evilly. “Guess its time to end this little feud. Prepare to pay for what you did.”

“Never! I refuse to lose again. I will kill you!!” Psi shouted.

Psi came at him in one desperate attack. He threw a punch full of rage and hatred. Ryudo grabbed it before slamming his body hard into Psi's shoulder with force that he dislocated it. A scream of pain escaped Psi before a choking gasp as Ryudo chopped his throat cutting off his air. Still in motion, he flipped him by his arm into an arm-bar hold, pulling hard and hearing the audible snap. Psi couldn't even scream as he gasped for air, eyes closed in pain. When he opened them, he saw Ryudo holding his gun and staring into his eyes.

“Finish it,” Psi wheezed out.

Ryudo looked down at the broken and bruised chameleon underneath him. He didn't feel a bit of remorse about what he did.

“What are you waiting for you fucker? Pull the trigger! Get revenge for what I did to your worthless friend and his stupid bitch.”

Ryudo's eyes narrowed at that, finger tensed on the trigger.

“Fine. Say hi to the devil for me.”

Three loud bangs echoed in the empty warehouse. Once the deed was done, Ryudo tossed the gun away before leaving. His body screamed with each step he did as he got into the car and sat there. The back of his shirt was wet from blood, sweat, or both, he couldn't tell. With a sigh, he started the car up and headed home. Reaching the driveway, he saw the living room lights on. Stumbling out, he walked up the small path as the front door opened and Gail rushed out. He wanted to hug Ryudo, but he saw the pain in the eyes.

“Oh god, Ryudo. Are you okay?”

“Not really,” Ryudo said softly before the last bit of adrenaline left him and he collapsed into Gail's arms with a startled yelp from him.

“Don't worry Ryudo. I have you. It's my turn to take care of you,” Gail said, kissing his cheek and helping him inside.

Kaisl sighed as he pulled to a stop at the light. This was supposedly his last hybrid drop but he didn't believe that. He looked into the rear view mirror at the goat. Its horns were broken and one eye missing. Blood coated its right cheek as it stained the grey shirt it was wearing.

“I should be taking you to a hospital. Not to be tested on,” Kaisl said softly.

“In my state, I'm no good to anybody,” the goat replied.

“You still have your life. Don't give up so easily.”

The goat gave a weak smile at that.

“Wish all humans were like you.”

“You and me both.”

The ride was quiet, not even the radio was playing. Kaisl could hear the ragged breathing of the hybrid in the back seat. He was so glad this was his last run. But that would mean he would go back to jail. Never! He would never go back to that hell hole. Once he found Roman, they would go into hiding. Turning into that dreaded driveway, he drove up to the gate only to find it open and no guards.

“That's strange.”

He pulled past the gate following the driveway to the loading dock like he usually does. Putting the car in park, he hopped out and helped the goat out. Taking the small steps up, he rang the bell and waited. He got no answer as he rang again.

“Okay, what's going on?”

He pushed the door to find it unlocked and opened.

“Hello?” he said peeking in.

The first thing that caught his attention were the flashing red lights.

“What's going on?”

Walking past the security desk, he peeked around to see the guard dead. He recoiled some, breathing picking up. Just what is going on?

“What's wrong sir?” the goat asked.

“Nothing. Just....stay there.”

With shaky legs, he made his way up the stairs. His ears picked up the sound of yelling and gunfire. Reaching the door, he peeked through to see a couple of bodies on the floor.

“This is unit nine seven two. Requesting police backup. We have a breach at the BHA,” a man said from behind cover.

He looked over to see Kaisl in the door and pointed his gun in his direction. Before he could fire, a knife was embedded into his neck making him gurgle on his blood before dropping to the ground.

“Wade, they called for police back up. We have to get out of here,” an otter said grabbing his knife and cleaning the blood off with the guard's shirt..

“We have to find her. I can't leave her here,” Wade shouted, firing from cover.

Kaisl looked out the door as he saw several hybrids and a man fighting the guards in the corridor. The sound of gunfire was loud as it echoed in his ears. Pretty soon, the last guard fell as Wade came out of cover.

“Everyone good?” he asked.

“We lost five of us and ammo is low,” Kain replied.

“Shit. Come on, before those reinforcements get here.”

They walked down the hall seeing all the hybrids huddled in a corner.

“Aren't we going to get the rest?” a weasel asked.

“No time and no room.”

They reached the chow chow's cell as she wagged her tail. Once the door was opened, she hugged Wade tightly, tears in her eyes.

“Are you okay Carla?”

“No. I want to get out of here. Especially away from that bastard. I can still feel his body pressed against mine.”

Roman ran up to Wade in a panic.

“Police are here and got most of the exits covered.”

Kaisl heard that voice and hurried from the door and saw his lover.

“Roman!!”

Roman's ears perked up, couldn't believe what he was hearing as he looked behind to see Kaisl.

“Oh my god! Kaisl!!”

They embraced tightly, lips mashed together.

“I never thought I would see you again,” Roman said in tears.

“Me either. I'm never going to let you go again.”

“Who the hell are you kid?” Wade said.

Kaisl briefly let Roman go before bowing his head a little.

“My name is Kaisl Blume. Roman belonged to me before those assholes came and took him away from me.”

“What are you doing here?”

“I was delivering hybrids for Syzman here. It was a deal I made with him to get out of jail. I didn't want to, but it was the only way to get out of that hell hole and try to find Roman.”

Everyone was quiet until the sound of footsteps caught their ears.

“Shit. We have to go now! Everybody out!” Wade said.

They all ran towards the stairs before Roman heard his name called. He turned to see someone he wanted to get out along with him that day Syzman came to him.

“Shay!!”

He ran up to her cell, grabbing her paw and holding it tightly. She looked so weak and fragile as her fur lost its luster and her eyes were red from crying.

“You seem to be better off then me,” she said with a weak smile.

“I need to get you out of here.”

“Roman, move your ass!!” Wade shouted.

“Go on Roman. Leave me. Go be free.”

“I don't want to leave without you again.”

Shay reached up and caressed his muzzle softly.

“Go.”

“Hey you two!! Stop where you are and put your hands up!” a cop shouted.

“Roman, lets go now!” Kaisl said grabbing his arm.

They kept their heads down as shots whizzed by them. Getting to the stairs, they jumped down them quickly and out the door. They saw Wade turn the corner for the loading dock. Chests heaving, they raced to the dock. Once outside, Wade was peeking around the corner and sucked his teeth.

“Shit, there's too many uniforms to make it to the van.”

“What do we do?” Rolf asked.

Wade looked at the car parked before speaking.

“Who's car?”

“Mine sir,” Kaisl spoke up. “It's what they gave me to transport the hybrids here.”

“Okay. Everyone get in. I'll be a distraction.”

All the hybrids looked at him.

“Nothing doing Wade. We all leave together,” the weasel said which all the hybrids nodded to.

Wade was quiet before chuckling.

“You guys are stubborn. Fine. Kaisl, take Carla and get out.”

“But Wade,” Carla started before being silenced.

“Get in the car Carla. I feel better knowing I could save you at least.”

Carla was hesitant but nodded, jumping into the back seat along with Roman. Wade grabbed Kaisl by the collar and looked him dead in the eyes.

“You better make sure she gets back safely.”

“Yes sir.”

Wade nodded before looking at the remaining hybrids who nodded their heads, knowing they probably won't make it.

“Let's go.”

They hurried towards the van, hearing the shouts along with the gun shots. Kaisl jumped into the front seat, starting the car with a quick turn of the key. He did a quick turn around before heading back to the gate. The gate was closed as cops were waving him down to stop. Ge gritted his teeth, pushing the gas harder.

“Hang on!”

He pushed the gas hard, busting through the gate as the police fired away. He didn't even slow down as he hit the highway and sped away.

Kelley sat at the table, cup of coffee in his hand as he watched the news.

We are showing scenes from last nights attack on the Bureau of Hybrid Affairs. As you can see, several bodies are laid out from gunshot wounds. At least twenty are dead and some injured. Nobody knows exactly what was taken from here but authorities are looking into the matter.”

Kelley turned off the TV in disgust. He was gonna do something about that place. They shouldn't even be in operation since the bill passed. But somehow, they flew under the radar. Well no longer. He had them and was gonna shut them down for good. Lilly walked in with a happy wag and hugged Kelley from behind, kissing his cheek.

“Morning love.”

“Morning angel.”

“What's got you so angry this morning?”

“Something that should've been handled a month ago. I need to go. Be back shortly,” he said, giving her a kiss.

He put on his shoes and headed out to see Trevor pulling up.

“Morning Kelley,” Trevor said with a happy wag.

“Morning Trevor. I take it you saw the news?” Kelley asked climbing into the back.

“Yeah I did. Let me guess, you want to go there?”

“Damn straight I do.”

Trevor chuckled before putting the car in motion, smooth jazz playing to lighten the mood a little. It was a little difficult to find the location of the BHA cause it was in the middle of nowhere, about a couple of miles off the highway. Trevor pulled up the driveway, seeing all the cops cars and news van outside the gate. The reporters were hounding the cops for any kind of juicy info they could get. Making to the front gate, a cop stopped them.

“Sorry dog, you got no business here. Scram!”

“But I do,” Kelley said in the back.

The cop recoiled a bit but nodded his head.

“Of course sir.”

The gate was opened as Trevor pulled forward. They saw the cops looking at all the bodies on the ground covered in a white sheet, snapping pictures and taking notes. Reaching the front entrance, they both got out and walked to the door with police tape.

“Congressman Kelley, what are you doing here?” a cop asked.

“To shut this place down. Let me through,” Kelley said angrily.

The cop lifted the tape as they proceeded through. Blood covered the walls a little as forensic took pictures. Looking down the hall to the left, they saw an older gentleman speaking to the cops. He had on a nice pin strip suit, very expensive looking.

“I don't care. Just find out who's responsible for this shit. This is costing me money. And I don't like to lose money.”

“Yes sir. We'll have all available people on the case.”

Kelley walked over as the man seemed to stiffen a little.

“Congressman Gold!? To what do we owe the pleasure?”

“Where are they?” Kelley said bluntly.

“Come again?”

“The hybrids. Where are they?”

The man's eyes narrowed a little.

“We can do this the easy way, or the hard way,” Kelley said impatiently.

A grunt escaped the man before turning his back.

“Fine. This way Congressman.”

He led them up the stairs to the third floor where some of the cops were taking pictures. The man led them to the cells before looking at Kelley.

“Here you go Congressman.”

Kelley walked past him and his jaw dropped at what he saw. Hybrids of all kind were sitting in the corner, malnourished and looking broken both physically and mentally. He balled his fists tightly, a single tear coming down his cheek at the deplorable situation the hybrids were in. Walking up to one of the cells, a beagle looked at him before cowering in the corner, whining loudly in fear.

“Unforgivable,” Kelley said quietly. “This is unforgivable.”

He walked back to the men before grabbing his suit and slamming against the wall.

“What the fuck is meaning of all this?”

“Biological warfare,” the man said shrugging his shoulders. “We need to be prepared for the worst case scenario.”

“So you use hybrids as test subjects?”

“Why not? Its not like they are useful for anything else. We've come a long way in the time we had them making chemical weapons with great potency. But when your stupid bill came into effect, we lost half our funding.”

Trevor let out a snarl at that. Kelley gripped him harder, looking at the smug expression on his face. Everything in his mind told him to beat the shit out of him right there. Damn if the cops were there or not.

“And you call yourself a human being?” Kelley snorted. “Obviously, you haven't seen yourself in the mirror.”

“I look a lot better then your ass. Now do you mind letting go? There are still tests to perform and money to be made while there is still time left. Plus you're bending the stripes.”

That pretty much broke the damn as Kelley connected with a solid right to the face bringing the man to the ground. He didn't stop there as he climb on top of him, raining blows down on him left and right. Cops scrambled to get him off as the man screamed to get him off. The cops pinned him to the wall as Kelley regained his composure.

“Get that piece of shit out of here before I kill him,” Kelley panted.

Cops lifted the bloody man up, putting the handcuffs on before leading him out. Trevor looked at Kelley with a grin making him raise an eyebrow.

“Are you sure you're a human? You fought like a savage wolf there.”

Kelley chuckled at that before straighten out his suit.

“People like that bring out the worst in me. But never mind that,” Kelley said bringing out his phone and dialing a number. “Hello? Yes, I need a favor Topps. I need a couple of buses at the BHA. I'm shutting it down for good and getting these hybrids the medical attention they need.”

Trevor looked at Kelley before all the hybrids in the cells.

“This is a lot of bodies Kelley. Where are you going to take them all? To Ryudo's?”

“Of course. When you want the best for the hybrids, you take them to the best.”

“Lets just hope he has the room.”

//////

Ryudo sat his desk, tea cup in hand. He should be resting after what happened last night with Psi. But he didn't want to, much to Gail's dismay. He patched himself pretty good, only suffering a couple of bruised ribs and a cut over his swollen left eye. The boards that were broken over his back left scars that needed to be stitched up which Derrick did easily. It was tough to move a little after the repeated attacks to his knee, but he shrugged it off and limped his way in. His phone rang as he hit the speaker button.

“Dr Peterson speaking. Can I help you?”

Hello Ryudo? This is Kelley Gold.”

“What can I do for you Congressman?”

Listen, I have a situation here.”

“I'm listening,” Ryudo said, sipping his tea.

He heard Kelley take a breath before speaking.

I'm at the BHA which I'm sure you heard of. Well, they were experimenting on hybrids for biological warfare.”

“Disgusting. We really are the lowest scum on the earth.”

Don't remind me. I need medical help for them and badly. Do you think you have room?”

“Depends on how many we're talking about.”

It was quiet on the other end as he heard Kelley talking to somebody in the background.

We have about twenty hybrids. Do you think you can manage it?”

“Hang on,” Ryudo said putting him on hold before hitting the intercom button for Derrick's office. “Hey Derrick, how many spare rooms do we have?”

We have about fifteen at the moment. What's up?”

“Kelley said he wants to bring hybrids here that the BHA were testing on.”

Derrick sucked his teeth in disgust.

I'll work on getting another bed and monitors in the rooms with Phillip and Gloria. Send them on down.”

“Okay. I'll leave you to it,” Ryudo said before getting back to Kelley. “We have to make some adjustments to our rooms, but we can manage it. Send them down.”

Thank you so much Ryudo. I owe you so much for doing this,” Kelley said before hanging up.

Ryudo let out a sigh before grunting as he moved to quick. So much for the quiet day that he hoped for. He got up slowly, still feeling a little tender before leaving his office. The staff waved hi to him as he gave a smile. He made his daily rounds, making sure all the hybrids were taken care of. Around lunch time, two large school buses pulled into the driveway of the hospital parking lot. Kelley walked into the hospital as Ryudo greeted him.

“Thanks a lot for this Ryudo. What happened to you?” Kelley asked noticing the swollen eye.

“I ended a feud last night. Nothing to worry about. Let's see what you brought me.”

They walked out to meet the hybrids and even Ryudo had to gasp at what he saw. This was no way to treat hybrids. Not even a human deserved to be put through this. He walked up to them as they cowered back a little.

“My name is Ryudo, and I'm here to help you get better. While you are under my care, no harm will come to you. I will get you back to full health or die trying. You have my word.”

“But you wear the same coat as the other humans did. How can we trust you?” a dane asked.

Ryudo paused at that before taking off his coat and handing it to Kelley.

“That is nothing but show. I only care about getting you better. That is my only concern. And I will do whatever is needed to gain your trust and help you.”

All the hybrids looked at each other, then at the caring smile Ryudo gave them.

“Okay. We'll trust you.”

“That's all I ask for. Come on inside and lets get you guys better.”

All the hybrids walked inside as the nurses lead them to their rooms and started examining them. Ryudo was checking on a bull when Kelley and Trevor walked in.

“What's the situation Ryudo?” Kelley asked.

Ryudo put his stethoscope down and grunted.

“Whatever they did to him, wrecked havoc on his lungs. His heartbeat is irregular and he might lose sight in his right eye.”

“So not so good?”

Ryudo looked at Kelley before the bull.

“Some of the hybrids are so damaged that even if we fixed them up, they won't be the same.”

Trevor let out a soft whine as Kelley sighed.

“I'm sorry that I never could find that stupid place in time. If I could, none of this would've happened.”

“Don't blame yourself Kelley. You got them out and away from that place,” Trevor said.

Ryudo let out a sigh before standing up and tossing the gloves he was using into the trash.

“We'll do what we can for them. In the meantime, it's lunchtime and I need to eat something.”

“Let me treat you then. It's the least I can do for everything you've done for me.”

Ryudo gave a grin at that.

“You sure about that? I can eat a lot.”

“Ha, you couldn't out eat me,” Trevor said with a grin.

“Want to put a wager on that?” Ryudo grinned.

Syzman let out a sigh as he closed his office door for good and locked it. Patheon was out of business now and he was going back to the stock market.

“Well, it was good while it lasted. Good thing I saved up a lot of money.”

He went down to the parking lot where his car was and hopped in, tossing his suitcase into the front seat. Cranking the engine, he left the company he brought from the ground up for the last time. So many good memories he had there and lots of money that was made.

“All good things must come to an end I guess.”

He stopped at a light and looked to the left to see a family of squirrels walking on the sidewalk and chatting away. A sigh escaped him as he shook his head.

“They think they are so hot to trot just because they are free. What a load of shit. They should always be slaves, underneath our boot like the vermin they are.”

The light changed as he pulled off onto the road and on his way home. His wife didn't like the fact that he had to go back to the stock market but he had to get something with income coming in. His phone rang as he reached into his pocket.

“Hello?”

Hey Ed, its Hanley.”

“Hey Hanley, what's up?”

Want to get together and have a drink with everybody else at O' Henry's?”

Syzman thought about it for a second before shrugging.

“Yeah sure. I could use a drink right now.”

Cool. See you there.”

Syzman dropped his phone into the front seat and let out a sigh as he pulled into his driveway. He saw the sheep hybrid next door cleaning the front yard. It gave him a wave which he ignored and walked into his house. His wife was in the living room with some guests chatting away when he came in.

“Hello dear. Is it over now?” she asked.

“Yeah. Patheon is out of commission and its back to the stock market for me. At least I have a good retirement set aside.”

“I still can't believe those walking rugs are free,” a lady said sipping some lemonade. “Its deplorable.”

“I agree. Thanks to that asshole Kelley, the stupid hybrid I own wants me to treat him fairly,” another lady said.

Syzman said nothing as he placed his suitcase in the closet before heading into the kitchen and pouring him a shot of gin. It went down hard on his throat making him grunt. He kinda needed that. All his hard work and millions of dollars gone.

“Fuck,” he shouted, tossing the glass against the wall as it shattered.

His wife came in with worried eyes.

“Are you okay?”

“Do I fucking look okay? I fucking lost everything.”

“I can't really understand what you're going through.”

“No you can't, so don't fucking try okay.”

His wife frowned at that before putting her hands on her hips.

“Well excuse me,” she huffed. “You got mail sitting on the table for you.”

After she said that, she went back to her guests. Syzman grunted before shifting through the mail which consisted of some bills and a letter of some kind which he didn't recognize the sender. Whatever, he'll look at it later. Checking his watch, he saw it was time to meet Hanley. He headed to the front door as his wife spoke up.

“Where are you going Edward?”

“Meeting up with Hanley for a drink. I'll be back.”

Getting back in his car, he made his way to the restaurant where he would meet everybody. It didn't take him long to get there as he pulled into the parking lot. He saw Hanley and Joyce's car parked together as he pulled next to them. Getting out, he headed inside to see Haney, Joyce, Ivory, Timothy, Frank, and Hank sitting at a table. He gave a soft smile seeing his associates sitting there as he joined them.

“Welcome Syzman. Glad you could join us,” Hanley said with a smile.

“How could I not? I wouldn't miss an opportunity to drink with the people that made us the number one company,” Syzman replied.

“We'd still be number one if it wasn't for that fucker Gold,” Ivory snarled. “I had to beg for my old job back at the train station.”

They all shared a chuckle at that before the waitress brought them all their drinks. Hanley grabbed his glass before raising it in a toast.

“Here's to us. From heroes to zeroes.”

“To us,” everybody said.

///////

Kasil pulled into the Davenport ranch as he looked around. Hybrids looked at the car as it pulled near Jim's house as he walked out. Kaisl came to a stop as he, Roman, and Carla got out.

“And who the hell are you?” Jim asked.

“Um, my name is Kaisl Blume.”

“Well Kaisl, you better have a good reason for being here?”

“I can answer that Jim,” Roman said.

Jim looked at Roman who took a deep breath before explaining the whole situation. While explaining, Jim's face went from stern, to anger, to remorse.

“That stupid idiot,” Jim said softly before looking at Carla who folded her ears. “So, you're his hybrid huh?”

“Yes sir,” Carla said softly.

“Well, you're welcomed here as long as you follow the rules,” Jim said as she nodded.

“What about me sir?” Kaisl asked.

Jim looked at him before turning his back and headed back inside. Roman looked worried, ears folded as he looked at Kaisl. Aaron walked over noticing the commotion and saw Roman as he hurried over.

“Roman, you're back! Are you okay? Where's Wade and everybody else?”

Roman held his head down, ears folded and shook his head. Aaron let out a curse before sighing.

“Damn it all. Well, he did manage to save you and the other hybrid. But who is that behind you?”

“This is my lover, Kaisl.”

Kaisl walked up and held his hand out which Aaron shook.

“Pleasure to meet you. Thank you for taking care of Roman when I couldn't.”

“Not a problem. He's a good guy and a hard worker. He did have a little difficulty when he first came here in gaining trust. But he'll tell you about it himself.”

Amanda skipped up to Aaron and hugged him behind with a murr. She looked at Kaisl, nose twitching to get his scent.

“Who's this Aaron?”

“Apparently this is Roman's lover Kaisl that he was talking about.”

“Well, welcome to Davenport,” Amanda said walking over and giving him a hug which surprised him.

“Um, thanks.”

Jim walked back out and looked at everybody.

“The chores aren't gonna get done by themselves. You, in here now,” he said looking at Kaisl.

Roman looked at Kaisl before giving him a hug and heading off to do his work. Kaisl swallowed before heading into the house. He saw Jim sitting at the table, cigarette in his mouth. He took a seat in front of him as Mary was washing dishes.

“So, why are you here?”

“I really have no other place to go. My parents disowned me cause I was in love with a hybrid. The cops came in the middle of the night and took us away. I spent I don't know how long in jail until Syzman offered me a deal to get me out of there and I took it.”

Jim nodded, blowing out a ring of smoke as Mary handed him a cup of coffee which he took a sip of.

“And now that the bill is in effect, you usefulness is at an end and he's probably gonna send you back to jail?”

“More then likely.”

“Sucks being a puppet huh?”

“Very much.”

Jim let out a chuckle at that as Mary handed Kaisl a cup of coffee. He took a sip before letting out a sigh. A collie cub walked in and hopped up on Jim's lap as he tickled her chin making her giggle and wag her tail.

“This is a well run farm. Everybody here knows what they need to do without being told. I don't usually allow people to just work here unannounced. But Roman wasn't himself when he was here. But now that you are, maybe he'll function at hundred percent.”

“I'm sure he will.”

“Since I unfortunately lost Wade and some of the good hybrids, I'm in need of help. So consider yourself lucky. But don't fuck up.”

“Yes sir.”

Jim snubbed out him smoke as the cub hopped down and scurried into the living room.

“Go speak to Aaron and he'll direct you on what you need to do.”

“Thank you for doing this for me,” Kaisl said, bowing his head a little before getting up and leaving.

Mary watched him leave before smiling at Jim.

“Guess I'll make an extra plate for tonight.”

“Sorry about that Mary. Guess I'm just a softy sometimes,” Jim chuckled.

“And I wouldn't want you any other way,” Mary smiled, leaning down and kissing his cheek.

Shelly let out a scream as the contractions come closer and closer. Gail held her paw as she squeezed it with power he didn't think she had.

“Hang on mom. Ryudo said he'd be here as fast as he could.”

“Oh god, I forgot how much pain this brings,” Shelly whines, breathing heavily.

A knock came at the door as Rose answered it.

“I got here as fast as I could,” Nick said, chest heaving. “How is she?”

A scream rushed into his ears making them fold as Rose chuckled.

“That answer your question.”

Nick hurried in, heading downstairs to see Shelly laying on the bed holding Gail's hand.

“Hey my angel. How you doing?”

“Shut up you asshole! You did this me. Dammit, I should've stopped at Gail,” Shelly snarled, before yelling as another pain hit her.

“Should I be here with her like this?” Nick whined.

“Relax,” Ryudo said, finally arriving. “Its just the pain talking. Alright, you guys head on up and I'll get Shelly taken care of.”

They nodded and headed up to the living room. Rose and Gail took a seat next to each other, Rose resting her head on his shoulder as Gail rubbed her arm making her purr. Nick was pacing back and forth, tail twitching anxiously.

“Relax Nick. Your making grooves in the carpet,” Rose chuckled.

“Well excuse me. This is my first child.”

“Well, I'm sure she'll be healthy. You have Ryudo down there with her.”

It was quiet for a bit, the only sounds coming from downstairs were Shelly's whines and whimpers. They waited for seem like forever until the small sounds of a whimper caught everybody's attention. Ryudo walked back upstairs with a smile on his face.

“Congratulations Nick! Go on down. They are both waiting for you.”

Nick's tail wag happily before he slowly went downstairs. When he arrived, he saw Shelly holding a small cub wrapped in a blanket. Her eyes looked at Nick with love and admiration.

“Come see our daughter my knight.”

Nick couldn't help but smile as he walked over and looked at his daughter. She was feeding on Shelly's breast before her sapphire eyes opened and saw Nick standing there. She gave a couple of garbled yaps before smiling which melted Nick's heart. He sat next to Shelly before lifting his daughter into his arms and cradled her softly as she reached up and bopped his nose lightly with a giggle.

“She's......she's.....adorable,” Nick said, a few tears in his eyes. “Just like her mother.”

“What shall we name her hun?” Shelly said softly, resting her head on his shoulder and looking at their cub.

Nick looked at Shelly before his daughter.

“How about......Angel?”

“I like it. Angel it will be.”

Epilogue

The phone rang a couple of times before a rough voice was heard.

“Hello?”

“Hey dad. Its me Aaron.”

Aaron! Hey honey, its Aaron! How are you son?”

“Great dad. Even though I'm sorry about running away like that. But I couldn't leave Amanda like that. I love her too much.”

A sigh was heard on the other end.

Listen Aaron, we understand what you did. We were pissed off at first. But the heart wants what the heart wants. Are you doing okay at least? Where are you?”

“I'm at the Davenport ranch. And I have to tell you dad, its awesome over here.”

Well me and your mother are glad you're doing okay. Are you gonna come visit us anytime?”

“We plan to. But I have to go now. Need to do my job around here.”

Okay. Thanks for calling son. Stay safe.”

Aaron hung up before shivering as Amanda ran her paw slowly across his bare chest. He smiled before bringing his arm around her and holding her close making her murr.

“What did they say?”

“They were understanding which was surprising.”

“That's good.”

She leaned her muzzle up, locking her lips with his. They moaned softly, tongues intertwining. Her body started to slide on top of his, fur caressing his bare skin under the sheets. He broke off chuckling, running his hands up and down her back making her tail wag rapidly.

“I really need to get up beautiful. If we do this again, I won't have any energy left.”

“Good,” she said in a husky voice, licking his neck and nipping him.

“Your adorable. But I really need to get up.”

He slid from under her making her whine as she watched him.

“Fine. But tonight, you won't leave this bed,” she growled playfully.

He chuckled at that before getting dressed and heading out. The sun was bright in the sky as he inhaled the fresh air. Hybrids were up and about doing their daily work load and waving hi. Grabbing his checklist, he did his rounds. As he was checking everything, he couldn't find Kaisl or Roman. He stopped a fox holding a basket of eggs.

“Hey, have you seen Kaisl or Roman?”

“No sir.”

“Hmm, weird. Let me check the front.”

He went to the front but still didn't see any signs of them. But he did notice the car missing.

“Probably went to get some of his things. Oh well, he'll be back.”

Kelley fixed his tie again in the mirror, a proud smile on his face. Today was the day he made history so to speak. The first human/hybrid wedding ever. Nobody thought this would ever happen, let alone hybrids being free. Trevor knocked on the door before walking in, his son in his arms. He had on a nice black shirt with matching pants and a white vest.

“Looking good there best man,” Kelley said with a smile.

“You too. Still can't believe this is happening,” Trevor said with a chuckle.

“Is everybody here?”

“Yep. Issac, Drew, and Damon are sitting in the seats. Most of your friends are out there too along with tons of hybrid supporters.

That made Kelley smile as he fixed his hair before turning around and heading for the door.

“Let's go make history.”

“Right on.”

They walked out the dressing room and towards the altar where the pastor was. His bodyguards gave him a thumbs up along with a smile as he stood at the altar waiting for his soon to be wife. Lilly was nervous as she stood in the mirror looking at herself. Kelley's mom was there helping her get prepared.

“You look so beautiful. Just like her,” Marcel said from behind.

Lilly folded her ears at that. Marcel smiled before tickling her chin making her giggle.

“No looking down girl. This is your wedding day.”

“Your right. I still can't believe this is happen to me. Every girl dreams of this day.”

“Well its happening to you. Are you ready to be with Kelley for the rest of your life?”

“I am. I want to be with him as long as I live,” she said with confidence.

Marcel looked behind her and nodded her head at the lady waiting, signaling the time to play the music. After a minute, the theme started to play making Lilly's ears perk and tail wag.

“They are playing your song Lilly. Let's go.”

She nodded her head and headed out. Reaching the double doors, they opened up as all eyes were on her as she slowly walked down the isle. Kelley watched her, complete love in his eyes as she stood next to him. The music stopped as the pastor began the ceremony.

“The rings please,” he said with a smile.

Sonya hurried over as they each took one, placing it on each other hand.

“Do you, Kelley Gold, take Lilly to be your wife? To have and to hold until death do you part?”

“I do.”

“Do you, Lilly, take Kelley Gold to be your husband? To have and to hold until death do you part?”

“I do.”

“Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you, man and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”

Kelley lifted the veil slowly, looking into those lavender eyes of his new wife and kissed her happily. The small crowd clapped happily at the newlyweds as the music started playing. Small handful of rice was thrown onto them making them laugh.

Marcel walked up and hugged them both, tears in her eyes of happiness.

“I'm so proud of you two.”

“Thanks mom,” Kelley said.

Sonya rushed over and hugged Lilly tightly with laughter.

“Are you my mom now?”

“That's right sweetheart. You and I will always be together now,” Lilly murred happily, hugging Sonya tightly.

“Congrats boss,” Issac said walking up to them along with the others.

Kelley smiled before giving them each a hug.

“I couldn't have done it without you guys. Thank you so much.”

“No, thank you for helping us,” Damon said. “Without you, we would still be slaves.”

“Indeed. We are all in your debt,” Drew added.

“Well the debt is paid in full now,” Kelley said.

Trevor walked over holding his son who fell asleep on his shoulder.

“Just got a message from Ryudo. He said he's sorry he couldn't make it and hopes the best for you and Lilly. And if you need any kind of medical help, you know where to go.”

Kelley smiled at that. With a little help from Topps, he made Ryudo's hospital the number one hybrid hospital in the country with him being the number one doctor. He felt his hand get squeezed as he turned to see Lilly smiling at him. He held her close, giving her another kiss.

“Just wait til you see where we're going for the honeymoon. You'll love it.”

“Anywhere with you is a honeymoon,” Lilly murred happily.

“Really? Then let's not waste anytime then,” Kelley grinned.

The plane flew smoothly in the air as all the occupants were either asleep or reading. One occupant was still awake, looking out the small window, mind still trying to figure out what to do.

“Sir, do you need anything?” the flight attendant asked.

Turquoise eyes looked at the flight attendant before the owner shook its head.

“I'm fine.”

The stewardess nodded before moving on. Those same eyes looked back out the window into the sky, seeing the golden sun slowly setting.

Why didn't he kill me?”

Psi closed his eyes as he remembered that night clearly. Right after the gunshots went off, he opened his eyes to see three bullet holes near his head and him still breathing. Confusion hit him as he looked up at Ryudo who just stared at him.

Why didn't you kill me?”

Because it wouldn't make a difference. What's done is done. There's no bringing back the dead,” Ryudo said.

I don't understand you at all. Anybody else would kill me in a heartbeat.”

As much as I do want you pushing daisies, it would turn me into something I don't want. It would turn me into you. And that is something I can't allow.”

Psi looked up at him, letting those words sink in.

All the ability you have, and you use it for this? You could be doing so much better.”

Easy for you to say. You wasn't forced into this lifestyle. It's the only thing I know how to do.”

Ryudo was quiet before easing back up.

You don't know until you try. Put that talent to good use.”

Psi was quiet before closing his eyes and giving a weak chuckle.

Good use huh? Who has a need for a broken hybrid like me?”

Try joining the military. They could use a good spy in other countries. As for me, I'm going to continue doing what I do best. And that's helping hybrids live a long life. If you want to get patched up, head to the hospital. The night crew will help you.”

After all I've done, you're still willing to help me?”

Ryudo was quiet before giving a smirk.

Everybody deserves a second chance. Just don't fuck it up with bad decisions again. And if you want a rematch, I'll be more then willing to oblige.”

With that said, Ryudo tossed the gun before walking away, leaving Psi there speechless.

Psi opened his eyes and gave a chuckle. Ryudo really was something else. The captain's voice came on over the intercom.

Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be arriving at Fort Axle in the next ten minutes. Please put your seats in the upright position and thank you for flying with Phoenix Airlines.”

The plane landed with a thump on the runway before coming to a stop at the gate. Everybody got out the airplane as Psi hefted the small bag over his shoulder. When he reached the terminal, he saw two people in army uniforms waiting.

“Are you Psi?” one of the asked.

“That's me.”

“We've been expecting you. Are you ready to commit to the army?”

Psi was quiet before remembering what Ryudo said about putting his ability to good use.

“I'm ready.”

“Good. Right this way. We have a special squad waiting for you. A friend called and told us all about your skills.”

A chuckle escaped him hearing that.

“Friend huh? I guess if you want to call him that. Lets go.”

//////

Syzman sat in his office going over the stocks, eyes roaming the paper in his hand as the sun started to set in the sky ending the days stocks. People were leaving the office chatting and chuckling away. Pretty soon he was the only one there as he kept working. He wanted to finish working on these reports before heading home.

“Crap. I should've sold that stock yesterday. It plummeted so fast.”

He crumbled the paper before tossing it in the trash. Reaching down, he grabbed a water from the small fridge before a knock on his door was heard.

“Enter.”

Opening the door, Kaisl and Roman walked in making his eyes go a little wide before chuckling.

“Well well, if it isn't the faggot couple. What the fuck do you want? Better question, why aren't you in jail? I voided the contract.”

“I had a friend help me understand the law a little better. Now that the bill has been passed, you have no power over me anymore. I'm a free man,” Kaisl said.

“So you actually have friends huh? Could've fooled me.”

He took a swig of water before leaning back in his leather chair.

“I'll say it again. What the fuck does your faggot ass want?”

Reaching behind his back, Kaisl pulled out the gun and pointed it at Syzman who sat there unfazed.

“Think your man enough to pull the trigger boy? If it wasn't for me, both your faggot asses would still be rotting away where you rightfully belong. I own both your asses. Your life belongs to me.”

“We belong to no one,” Roman hissed angrily.

“Talk big all you want. I set you both free. I made it possible for you to breath fresh air instead of being tested on or raped. You should be on your hands and knees sucking my dick and swallowing my load like the good fucking faggots that you are.”

They both narrowed their eyes at that as Kaisl tightened his finger on the trigger. Syzman chuckled before taking another swig and throwing the water at their feet.

“You both are nothing without me. You think you are free because of some stupid piece of paper? Well your wrong. You both belong to ME. I own you. Now, either shoot me or get the fuck out.”

A bang echoed in the office as Syzman's eyes went wide, pain shooting up his arm as his shoulder had a hole in it. He chuckled at that before looking at it.

“You call that a shot you bitch? Maybe having that cat cock shoved up your ass has made you a bad shooter?”

Another bang echoed as the bullet embedded in his stomach making him double over in pain. Blood come down the side of his mouth as he lifted his head up, an evil smile they both saw before.

“Come on you fairy! Shoot me like a man!” Syzman shouted, standing up and holding his arms out. “ Shoot me like a fucking man!!

A third shot rang through their ears as this one rocked Syzman back into his seat, a hole in his head as he sat there with a smile on his dead face. Kaisl was shaking as he lowered the gun, a few tears in his eyes. Roman grabbed his hand and squeezed it in comfort.

“Come on, lets go.”

“Okay,” Kaisl said softly.

They both turned to leave, Roman first as Kaisl stopped and took one last look at Syzman before leaving the office.

///////

Ryudo cleaned the gravestones of crab grass and other weeds before looking at them. A few tears were in his eyes as they rolled down their cheek.

“Hey bro. Sorry I haven't been around to speak to you. Things have been a little crazy lately.”

A soft breeze rushed through him making him smile.

“I hope you watched me and approved of my decision with Psi. Every fiber in my body wanted him to die. But I know if I did kill him, it wouldn't bring you back and I'd be branded a murderer in my mind. And I don't think I can live with that.”

A sigh escaped him before looking at Caroline's stone.

“You both would've been happy with the bill. Maybe even getting married like Kelley did. I would've went, but I had to take care of a few things. Oh yeah, Shelly had a beautiful daughter. She's so full of life and reminds me so much of Caroline. She would've loved her.”

Footsteps approached him from the side as he turned to see Gail walking up to him.

“Hey stripy.”

“Hey Ryudo. How are you feeling?”

“Depressed every time I come here, but I know they are both watching over us.”

Gail leaned down and gave each grave stone a kiss.

“Keep watch over us Blake. And keep making your jokes in heaven. I know the angels are laughing along with you.”

Ryudo chuckled at that before his phone vibrated with a message. He reached in his pocket to take out his phone and looked at it.

“Looks like they are ready for us stripy. You ready to be mine officially?”

“Very ready,” Gail murred.

Ryudo nodded at that before looking at the gravestones again. He gave each one a kiss himself before standing up.

“Keep watch over us as always Blake. I'll be thinking of you always.”

Gail held his hand and gave it a squeeze which Ryudo squeezed back. He turned, looking into Gail's beautiful gold eyes before kissing him softly.

“Lets go stripy.”

“Okay.”

They both headed back to the car, hands interlocked together which held an identical ring on their finger.
