I finally saw the sun rise and just as it did, Cecilia appeared in a flash of light dressed like she was yesterday and Josh appeared in a plume of smoke dressed in a black suit and dark blue tie. Alexander had been preparing for about 30 minutes now and put on some of his best tribal decorations.

We soon reappeared in a flash of light on what appeared to be a flying castle. I looked down around it and saw that we were very, very high above the world, so high up in fact that I could see every city on the planet from my angle, there were clouds of course but they were transparent, as if they were one way windows for I knew that when I looked up from down there, I couldn't see this place.

"Well we're here. No mortal can enter this place without a god's assistance." said Cecilia giggling as she saw me looking down the side of the castle.

"The clouds are in fact, a one way window and act as a force field should a mortal try flying up here." said Josh as he began heading across the drawbridge that didn't seem to lead anywhere except off into the sky which would make them fall through the clouds. I followed them as we crossed the bridge into the castle and I was amazed. This place was indescribably huge, I knew it was a god's palace but damn this was way more than I could imagine.

As we crossed the drawbridge and entered, I noticed that this place had many bodies which were placed in what looked like glass or ice lining the walls of hallways and such.

"What's with the frozen bodies?" I asked. Alexander looked at them and smiled.

"Each of those bodies represents a living being on our dimension, when they die, the glass preserving them is shattered, that glass isn't preserving a body, it's preserving their life span. If the glass is shattered, their life span gets soiled and destroyed." said Alexander.

"So it's sort of like the fates except instead of thread, they're frozen in glass...." I said. Alexander nodded. We passed by what appeared to be a fox's frozen body and just as we passed it, the glass cracked and then shattered, before the glass even hit the ground though, the shards vanished and the fox inside evaporated into mist.

"Well another person just died of falling down their stairs..." said Josh casually as if it were normal. "I'll finish up here then go reap them." He added.

"too bad, he was only 2,000 years old too." said Alexander as we rounded a corner. It was five minutes before we finally reached the throne room. The three demi gods knocked on the doors and they slowly opened to reveal a large throne room with the lion god sitting on his throne at the back of it.

"Well now this is most definitely interesting. A new record!" shouted the lion in surprise and delight.

His body look suggested he was 30 years old. The one on the other side was a Pegasus. The white winged horse was just as tall as the dragon and had a well toned warrior body, he looked about the same age.

"Allow me to introduce Behaumut, demi god of time and king of reptiles." said the lion god pointing to the gold dragon. I looked at the dragon who smiled at me.

"And Pegasus, demi god of the skies, king of horses." said the lion pointing to the horse who also smiled at me.

"They are my two eldest sons, only forty years younger than I am, that means they're almost twenty billion years old, they will act as advisory judges during this trial, but the final decision is ultimately mine." said The lion. I would have nodded if I could.

"First approval of Cecilia, please state your case." said the lion. Cecilia approached her father and took a seat in mid air. "Father, I have been watching him as the demi goddess of love, I have seen how he treats our people with compassion and kindness. True, he has been a bit reckless in taking hosts but he has never openly done anything to harm them or their reputations. I believe that he cares for our people, even if he didn't do so in his world, coming here seems to have changed him." she said.

The lion rubbed his chin for a moment.

"Compassion for others... what do you think?" he asked to his two eldest sons.

"Sir, he has indeed changed much since coming here, we checked his soul record and he was no where near this in human life. He could be doing this in order to buy his way into your good graces." said Behaumut.

"Ah, but you forget that he was not aware of demi gods when he first started doing this nor did he knew he was a candidate to become one, he did all this openly." said Pegasus.

"I vote for this case." said Pegasus.

"And I against it." said Behaumut.

"Second approval voter, Josh step forward!" said the lion as he motioned for Cecelia to move for her older brother which she did politely.

"Father, I was informed as to his attempt at saving the slaves from the camp, I went there expecting his current host to be found dead but he has shown great wisdom by not only freeing all the slaves but freeing his host as well, any normal being would have simply left their host after freeing the others. He also had the wisdom to get the slaver he had possessed far from the city before leaving his body." said Josh. "I believe he has the wisdom to become a demi god." he added.

"Compassion for others and Wisdom, good combination." said the lion he looked to his eldest sons again.

"Although he did free all the slaves and showed wisdom, he made his female host act like a slut for the slavers and actually resulted in her getting partially raped, if he didn't calm himself enough to possess the slaver and if you hadn't given him the power to possess awakened hosts, his plan would fail." said Pegasus.

"I vote for this case!" shouted Behaumut.

"And I against!" shouted Pegasus.

"Final approval voter Alexander present your case." said the lion as Josh moved for the middle eldest sibling.

"Sir, he aided me in the defeating of a tentacle monster, true I could have done it alone but he did something even I have not expected in my 50,634 years. "We both vote for this case!" shouted the two eldest sons.

The lion leaned back in his throne and sighed a bit.

"I said they would act as judges and they both seem to have agreed that you are worthy..." said the lion. I was now very happy.

"But I also said that the final decision was up to me and from what I've heard..." said the lion.

I was instantly reduced from happy to shock at this.

"You are indeed worthy..." said the lion smiling.

Cecilia and Alexander cheered for me with clapping and saying yay. Josh, being a business type death demi god, simply clapped politely and then gave a bow. "A fox died on our way here, I have to go reap him, Congratulations Chris, it guess you're my new baby brother." he said giving me a wave and headed back out of the throne room.

"Well now that we have that solved, I should probably start working on your demi god body. The only choice now is what position to put you as..." said the lion. Thinking. He reached behind his throne and pulled out a large book about five inches thick.

"Show me a worthy position for one who is blessed with wisdom, compassion, and courage." he said to the book. The book flipped through the pages wildly and the came to rest on a single page.

"That one? Hmm that hasn't been filled in ten billion years since the last demi god left our world for exploring the other worlds." said the lion. The book stayed it's page and the lion shrugged.

"Okay then, I hereby grant this human's soul the position of demi god of the land. You will have control over the soil, mountains, grass, hills, and plants of this world. In addition, your strength will go practically unmatched. Your job will be to watch the land and make sure that everyone treats it with care and that nobody wastes our land. Now for your body... I think you'd be good as... a raccoon!" he said. I smiled as I was being given a body.

"Now then give me nine months, I have to go impregnate a female raccoon on the world below, You may live here until the deed is done, then I shall place you within the new born." said the lion.

"Oh and call me father from now on." he added before vanishing in a brilliant beam of light.

"Welcome younger brother." said Behaumut smiling.

"Yes, welcome..." said Pegasus as he clapped his hands.

"By the way, if you would like to watch father making your new body we can get it on demi god cable here." said Cecilia as in a flash of light, a remote controller appeared in her left hand's grasp.

"They have demi god cable?" I asked.

"What, you think we watch over the planet for eternity and never get bored?" asked Alexander as he and Cecilia began to walk out of the throne room, I followed them and we headed for the entertainment room.

"This is not only father's palace but it's also where the demi gods live, although some of us have secondary homes on the planet below, such as the hero Alexander, we usually stay here like Josh who has to keep an eye on the life forces." said Cecilia.

"By the way, what did he mean by the last god who had this job?" I asked. Behaumut spoke up, I hadn't noticed he was following us.

"Billions of years ago, we had a brother, the demi god of the land. Third eldest child of father. When he was here the land was beautiful and everyone lived in peace. But then he wanted to see different dimensions and so he went into the void. When he left, the people had nobody to worship as the land demi god and so they began to subconsciously abuse it without knowing it. Now our land is scattered, we have cities, villages, and colonies strewn about in all sorts of random patterns, it's not like the union they had back then." said Behaumut.

"What happened?" I asked as we reached the room.

"Well It's been a very long time but if I remember correctly, once he entered the void, something happened. He began going to dimensions and the other gods wouldn't let him back out. Every death, he moved to a new one. His memories wiped, and his powers stripped from him. Nobody is sure what happened to him last. The book is a true finder book, it only lists those most suitable for a position as a demi god." said Behaumut.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"This may not be your first time here...." said Behaumut smiling.

We entered the room with me having questions racing through my mind.

Could this be my true native dimension and not earth? Could I have been a demi god before? Was I really over billions of years old and if I had gone to other dimensions, was I actually older?

When I saw the entertainment room, I was surprised immensely. A 250 inch plasma screen HD TV sat against a wall, propped up by some magical force. There were video game systems of many kinds, some from earth, some from other dimensions it seemed.

"What's that?" I asked looking at a strange console.

"Oh that is the play station 3900. It will never come out in earth but some humans imagined it. It will retail for over 9,000" said Alexander.

"And these are movies from people's imaginations in other dimensions, these movies are what they think the perfect movie would be, it's quite fun to see what they imagine." said Cecilia.

We all approached the large blue leather couch in the middle of the room. Except for the door and TV, the walls were lined with games and movies, this room was about twice as big as my school gym.

"It seems he's found one." said Diva as the camera switched to view the streets below.

She has been picked to be the mother of the new demi god of the land." said Diva as father began to fly down to her. "Do I even want to know where Josh was made?" I asked.

"Oh he had sex with a kangaroo in a graveyard using an empty coffin as a bed." said Alexander laughing.

We continued watching as they found a place and landed, a large grassy field with trees lining around it and a small pond and a stone alter.

"That is the place where the people once worshiped the land demi god, it hasn't been used since he left but his power has kept it preserved even though he is gone." said Behaumut.

"The water is so pure that it is said it can cure any physical dysfunction with even so much as a single sip and all evil is washed away in it." said Cecilia.

"The soil there will make any plant food grow five times it's normal size and the alter is where bountiful harvests are sacrificed. It is a holy ground for farmers, but we haven't had any farmers in a long time." said Behaumut.
