True Power's Destruction

Demi walked into The King's Chambers watching out for anyone who may try to attack him, or for any spells The King may have put on his chambers to keep out thieves. He sighed as he saw the room was empty then he moved over to the bed and started to look around. It didn't take long for the tall raven to find what he wanted. He pulled out a few scrolls of parchment that The King had been keeping notes on the war.

"Now this will be of some use." Said Demi and he slipped them into his pouch.

He turned to leave the large room when the sound of tapping claws on stone, could be heard coming up stairs. He quickly ran to the balcony and jumped onto the roof holding on tight with his talons. He thanked the gods that he decided to do this at night time so his dark purple feathers couldn't be seen. He waited for a moment then heard the door to the room open then shut. Suddenly the lights came on as whoever was in the room lit a few candles and the large oil lamp.

"Viento how much time do we have left before the Rebels make their move." Came the voice of King Zach.

"Two weeks at the most Sire." Came the voice of Zach's demon sword Viento.

Demi found it odd that the sword was speaking out loud instead of talking to Zach by mind speech like he normally did. As he sat there trying to remember everything they talked about a booming female voice filled his mind "Demi did you get the Scrolls yet."

Demi jumped and almost lost his footing before he said back with his mind "Yes Mistress but Zach is here now talking to his sword I'm on the roof seeing if they have anything else that may help us."

"We don't have time I need you back here right away. Some of the rebel group is on their way here and I could use your way with words to help persuade them." Said the female voice.

Demi stood up as quietly as he could, then without arguing he jumped into the air silently flying off into the dark night. As he flew over the dark city he said, "Mistress we only have a few days left before we will be too late, I hope your plan works."

"Trust me Demi, with the information you have been filtering me it will help us quite a bit. Also someone who knows Zach is on their way to the rebel base as we speak. I think he will be able to help us." Said the voice.

Demi flapped his large wings hard to gain altitude, smiling as much as the long bead would let him then said "I look forward to a good fight." And with that he closed his mind to the voice and tipped his wings facing north.

"Damn it Amy how do you go so far without rest." Said Raven panting hard as he ducked under yet another low hanging branch.

Mary was following close behind panting harder than her father; Amy was a good fifty feet head of them her large sword on her back. She wasn't panting at all as she looked back at the other two and said "I thought you two could do better than this, I mean come on you two are both ranked higher than me and said to be the two strongest fighters and you're telling me your tired?"

"We have been traveling for three days with little rest and almost no food I don't understand how you can keep going." Said Raven stopping to bend over.

Mary walked up to Amy and said "My father is the most powerful yes, but me I'm a powerful healer and an ok fighter but we have never been trained to go so far like this."

Amy frowned and said in a dry voice "We don't have time to worry about our own hurting bodies. If we don't get to this witch soon I fear that Zap and Emily will attack and maybe kill Zach or he'll kill them before we can help."

"As far as I know we won't be near her land for another two days maybe longer." Said Raven

"Then I guess we should keep moving then, or just say here if you want I'm going to keep going on." Said Amy turning to walk away.

Raven was about the take hold of her shoulder when a flutter of feathers sounded over them followed by a shadow then a large Anthro Raven with purple feathers. He twisted in mid-air then landed lightly on his talons. Amy drew her sword as Raven jumped back and prepared to fight. Mary looked a little scared pulling a dagger out from the folds of her clothes.

Demi stood tall looking at all three of them then he said in his low soft voice "I bid you welcome travelers my Mistress has been waiting for you for a while now."

Amy growled and said "Don't trust him he's the King's Spy, Demi the Dark Raven."

"What are you doing following us Demi it's mighty brave of you to face the three of us like this." Said Raven with a loud growl his markings glowing as he drew on his power of strength

Demi put a hand on his belt of throwing knives and smiled saying "A spy I am but not for the Demonic King Zach who has the markings of the Reaper. No I am The Witch Katie's Spy. I have worked for her for the past few years."

"How can we trust you when we know what you have done to kill many of the foxes and wolves who fight The King?" said Amy.

"I had to do that to keep my cover. If you would follow me though I will let my Mistress show you that I am not lying. She is on your side." Said Demi.

"I don't believe you." Yelled Amy and she attacked.

Demi jumped into the air, his wings flapping quickly and he rose high. Within seconds there was a small sound of metal flying throw the air then the thud of metal hitting wood. Amy felt something pull her back and slam her into a nearby tree. Second's later pain ran over the top of her hand like a white hot wire and she dropped her sword with a howl.

There was another thud and a yell from Raven. Amy looked to her left and saw the large wolf pinned to the tree with thirty throwing knives pinning him to the tree. Not a single one of them had hit his body only his baggy clothes. She looked at her own body and saw she was pinned the same way her hand bleeding some from a deep cut on the back of it.

Demi landed lightly again and said "Sorry I had to do that but I really didn't have time to fight you three...well you two seeing how young Mary here didn't feel like she needed to attack me."

"I know a lot about you Demi and I know I wouldn't stand a chance against you." Said Mary walking over to Amy looking at her hand

"You want us to trust you and you attack us." Said Amy.

"No you attacked me ma'am I only defended myself, and in a none lethal way too." Said Demi walking up to them and pulling out an amulet from under his tight leather vest.

Raven was pulling hard against the knives holding him to the tree but he couldn't seem to pull them out. He looked at Demi and said "I see that your blades do have spells that hold down your pray like I heard. Only person I know who can do something like that and hold back my kind of strength is Katie herself. So unless Katie has decided to work for the King which I doubt then I'm going to have to trust your story is true."

"Good so before Miss Amy here gets mad and tries to blast me with one of her famous fire attacks I'm going to take you to my Mistress." Said Demi holding up his amulet.

Amy growled but after hearing Raven say Demi could be trusted she knew she had to keep her mouth shut. She looked at the amulet in his hand wondering what he was going to do. Then a red flash came from the amulet and Amy felt as though her body was being thrown into a rushing river. Then a second later she felt her feet touch the soft ground. She blinked and looked around, she saw that they had been taken to a large open clearing surrounded by large thick oak trees.

She pushed herself up then realized she was free and could move again. Demi, Mary, Raven, and her sword were all standing next to her. She was about to ask where they were when a beautiful voice filled the clearing saying "Welcome travelers to my home."

Demi turned and dropped to one knee bowing his head as a beautiful fox walked toward them. She was taller than most, with dark blue fur, with Violet markings like vines on a tree going up her right arm and over her right eye, her eyes were also Violet, and long dark blue hair that looked almost black falling down to the base of her soft looking tail. She walked up to them all and smiled, a sense of power radiating off her.

"Who are you?" asked Amy, awed by her beauty.

"I am the one you have been looking for." Said the fox.

Raven smiled walked up to the fox taking one hand and kissing it lightly saying, "Madam Katie it's been far too long."

"Raven, I see you have gotten larger since we last saw each other; I'm sorry to hear about your wife but I see you daughter is the splitting image of her." Said Katie with a wider smile.

"She went fast and it makes me happy that she didn't have to suffer even though I miss her every day."

"You know if you would have come to me I would have been able to save her from the void and given you a much longer time to spend with her." Said Katie.

"I knew that but Mary asked me not too. She said if the gods wanted her time to be now then no magic would stop them." Said Raven a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Gods or no gods I wish I could have helped." Said Katie turning to Demi next "Demi, thanks for helping them, can you please bring the scrolls into my house and start going over them I'll be along shortly."

Demi bowed again then said "Yes mistress."

Katie then looked at Amy and said "It's nice to finally meet you Amy, Your father was a good friend of mine."

"I never knew he knew a powerful witch like you. But he died when I was really young so I didn't get to know much about him." said Amy "I'm also sorry I attacked Demi, I was sure he was working for Zach."

"Well Demi has been like a son to me, I raised him since he was just out of his egg. He calls me mistress out of respect for my power but really I wish he would just call me mom, and yes I did know your father during the war." Said Katie looking down and seeing the large sword "My word you have Berserker." And she lifted the sword high.

Amy was about to stop her, but was shocked when she saw her lift it up then she said "That is not his name anymore."

"No you cannot change the true name of a blade especially one that I made myself." Said Katie lifting the blade higher then saying "Berserker I can feel your power is almost gone. Tell me, is the time I placed in you finally dying?"

To Amy's Surprise the blade said out loud "Madam who gave life to me it is good to feel your hands on my hilt again. To answer your question, yes my life is at an end I can no longer feel the power you placed on this blade but also I can't seem to let my body fade away for I need to keep my master's daughter safe."

Amy felt tears in her eyes as she said "You never told me you were dying."

"That is because he can't tell you, he made a promise to your father to keep you safe as long as he could. Now Berserker, what if I tell you I can make a new blade to keep her safe then will you let yourself go and rest in peace. You have done your job." Said Katie.

"I will...Amy, trust in Zach and his heart you can save him I know it." Said Berserker.

"Wait what is happening I don't understand." Said Amy taking a step toward the blade and Katie, but before she could get any closer the blade turned black and then to dust a gentle wind blowing the dust away.

Katie turned to Amy and said "I'm sorry I had to do that but Berserker was never meant to last for more than a few years and I'm shocked he lasted for as long as he did. You must have known he had no more power left."

"I always used my own power and channeled it through him. I always thought he would be my partner forever. I don't know what I'll do without him." said Amy.

"A good fighter needs a blade that was made for them."

"Like Zach has his wind sword Viento?"

"Ah well I'm glad you bring that up. Viento is not a sword made by Len like most people think. It was made by Savage who, like me, knows the spells to put into a sword to make it live." Said Katie with a smile "But you're in luck because I was working on a sword for the past year. I haven't yet placed all its spells."

"So you were expecting me to show up then and for this to happen?"

"Not really dear, see I was making it for Zach..." she looked away.

"Why would you be making a sword for him?"

"He's not as evil as most people think Amy. He, as you know, has the mark of the Reaper which is normally a sign of evil. Savage has the mark of the grim which has only been known as a heroes mark..."

"Since when has it been a hero's mark? Its evil." Amy interrupted.

Katie gave her a smile and says "Please don't interrupt me...as I was saying it was the hero's sign. Grim and Reaper have come only once every 1000 years and each time one killed the other normally it was The Grim who won. The stories have changed over time and that is way most people think the Reaper won and he turned evil. What really happened is the power of the reaper got so powerful that most of the wolves that had it lost their minds and they were drawn to the power that was as great as their own. In their rage they always lost the fight with the grim."

"The truth is that both of the marks aren't good or evil its just that the Reaper is to powerful to control and the Grim all depends on who uses it. Savage is evil and he uses his power for Evil. As for Zach, well he is a different case from most of the Reapers before him. See the powers have only ever been passed down the wolf lines. Zach is a hybrid between a Fox and a Wolf, something that has never happened before. Until he was born no one thought it was possible for my, race to mix with yours."

"And what does that matter?" asked Amy with another growl.

Katie smiled and said, "He is the perfect host for the Reapers power. His mind and body both work better than a normal wolf could ever wish to. He may not be as strong as a wolf physically, but he is much more flexible and more balanced due to his fox side. They both gave him the best of their traits and none of the weaknesses."

Mary looked down and said in her quiet voice, "Then why is he doing so much harm if he can control his power?"

"Zach is not evil and he feels the pain of what he is doing but thanks to Savage he can't admit it. You see the day he came home to find his master Len dead and got Viento, he was being taken in from that moment on." Said Katie.

"What do you mean?"

"You will understand soon when we make our way to the battle, as we speak the tribes are gearing up to fight him. You three will need to be there to help, if you aren't there things won't play out as they need to." Said Katie walking into a small storage room hidden in the tree lines

"You're one crazy female you know that." Said Amy growling again.

She came back out with a cloth rapped sword longer than she was tall, which wasn't hard to do since she was quiet short. She set the sword down and smiled saying, "I've been called that and many other things in my lifetime you know, but no matter, it won't change what I am going to do tonight. We only have a few hours left before the fight and I'm sure you'll want to be ready."

"Wait one moment we've only been traveling for a few days, the battle wasn't supposed to be for another month." Said Raven, anger filling his eyes.

"Three weeks to be correct, so your part right. Zap and Emily want him dead, they decided this right after you left so they changed the day. But still, you would have had two weeks left if you weren't traveling in my forest."

"What do you mean?" said Mary,

"Time isn't the same here. A few days in my forest is almost three weeks sometimes a month. So you only have a few hours to stop Zap and Emily from making their plan work." Said Emily.

"And how do you expect us to get to the Royal City in a few hours from here?" asked Amy.

Katie started to laugh "My dear, I'm a witch, we will travel by magic. We also don't have much time left so Amy take this sword but keep it wrapped up until you see Zach coming to fight, when he does, uncover the sword and fight as hard as you can." She handed the cloth rapped sword to her. Then, before they could say anything she muttered a few words and they vanished again...

Zach walked down into the dungeons is twin sword at his hip, his fur black as night, and eyes glowing with a soft yellow light. He couldn't believe they had captured one of the rebels alive. He had a few ideas of ways to get her to talk, some of which made his mouth water and his pants grow tight.

He turned a corner and stopped in front of a small cell where he saw the panther sitting in a corner, tears running down her face as she looked up into his eyes. He took out a key and opened the cell door, his smile never fading from his face as he said, "It's good to see you again Lynn. Though I didn't expect to find you in my dungeons the next time we met. I was thinking that maybe more on the battle field blades and bows and all the nonsense."

"Zach why are you holding me here...don't you remember what we talked about that day...the night we spent together." Said Lynn, her face showing fear and pain at seeing him in his demonic form.

"I do...you said you worked with the Rebels, and you did sleep with me, yes most likely because you wanted be able to say you slept with the most powerful King in the world and lived to tell the tail." Said Zach.

"I didn't...I slept with you because I felt something for you, I had since the first time I saw you. I never wanted what happened to you to happen but it did and I can't fix that. But I can help fix this...your madness, I mean it's not you at all you're a kind soul."

That made Zach falter for a moment his mind lost in what she had said She said I was a good soul...

Zach shook his head and said, "I was a good soul at one time, back when Len was alive and for a little while after. It wasn't until I saw what my family and everyone was doing to use my power for their own gain." He lunged forward and lifted her up, pinning her against the wall, "NOW TELL ME WHAT THE REBELS HAVE PALNNED!"

She screamed closing her eyes then said, "I won't."

"Fine then I'll make use of you then in another way." Said Zach putting a hand on her throat then ripping her cloth pants off. He quickly un-did his pants letting his already hard member fall from his pants. She looked down at it and tried to scream again but she couldn't with his hand at her throat.

He grinned and guided his cock to her soft folds, his scent filling the air with need and arousal. The sudden rush of it was too much for her and she screamed as she felt a couple small rips run up her slender frame. The pain that she felt before was nothing compared to this.

He pumped his hips faster his free hand moving behind her back forcing her to push into him. His panting and grunts heavy in her ears, his moans loud, his breath hot. Through the pain she could feel a bit of pleasure that she couldn't control running up her body. A small moan escaped her lips with her screams bringing a grin to the Wolfox's face.

He moved into her faster, his claws digging into her skin, blood running down her back. It was like nothing she had ever felt before, like an energy was filling her up. She opened her eyes and looked at Zach and almost screamed again at the sight of him. His marking was rippling and blue electricity was running down his arms, his wings seemed to be bigger than normal and his eyes were glowing bright yellow. He looked more evil now than he had when he first walked in.

She looked down at his hip, pain still filling her body and saw it. The twin swords at his belt that he called Viento was glowing with a green blue light and it was flowing into Zach. At that moment she knew that he wasn't the one doing this to her. He couldn't stop himself with the power the sword seemed to have over him. She wanted to say something but the pain was too much and she shut her eyes again.

She could feel his knot pushing hard against her outer folds almost most making its way in. She knew that the only way to save him was to let him do it and she hoped when he was done she could somehow get the swords away from him. So she did her best to relax her body and with a pop and a rush of pain it popped in.

Her scream was so loud it made the dust on the floor and walls blow away some. Zach howled like a wild animal hitting his climax filling her up with his hot seed. He pulled her face into his chest letting her throat go as he filled her up. Then he panted and leaned forward utterly spent.

The pain was greater than anything she had ever felt before but she ignored it. She moved her hands forward took hold of the swords and with a quick motion pushed off his cock and ripped herself free. Her vision flickered again for a second but she didn't slow down as she took the swords away from Zach and ran.

She ran out of the cell and down the hall making her way to the great stair case that lead to the castle. She heard a roar of anger behind her but she didn't slow down. She knew he was coming and she knew she only had one way to save Zach and the rest of the kingdom. She made her way through a couple of doors and up a long flight of stairs and into the King's chambers. She shut and locked the door behind her and made her way to the balcony.

"Lynn, my word what are you doing here." Came a voice from above her.

She jumped looking up, then sighed seeing Demi "My love, I was taken by Zach's soldiers, I just got away with Viento."

Demi looked shocked then anger filled his eyes as he saw she had no pants on, "What did he do to you Lynn? And how did you manage to get your hands on Viento?"

"It doesn't matter, did the plan work?"

"It did. We have the army here. Amy, Raven, and Mary are here too with our master Katie." Said Lynn jumping down to the railing.

"He's right behind me, you have to go now and take Viento with you. Make sure that Katie gets it, only she can destroy it." Said Lynn.

Before Demi could say anything back to her, the door behind her exploded and Zach walked slowly into the room his eyes glowing, fangs bared in a snarl, and his wings open. He looked like death itself made into flesh and fur. His tail's twitched as he slowly walked closer to them saying, "Demi, good you stopped her. Get back my sword."

Demi knew he couldn't pull off his role anymore not with Lynn in danger. He pulled out his throwing knives and yelled "NEVER!" and threw the knives.

In a quick motion Zach dodged the knives his arms glowing blue. He rolled, jumped to his feet again and a blast of light hit Demi throwing him off the rail. Demi felt like his body had been hit by a boulder and it took all his strength to flip over and open his wings to glide down to where the rebels were.

"That traitor will pay soon enough." Said Zach, grabbing the twin blades from Lynn's hands "As for you...I was going to let you live since you did do such a good job pleasuring me, but I see I can't trust you at all. Good bye Lynn say hello to Len for me and your old partner."

"Wait no please Zach snap out of..." said Lynn but before she could finish Zach slashed her throat with Viento. Blood poured from her neck, a gurgling noise came from her. She took a step forward then fell to her knees tears in her eyes as she gasped for air that she would never get. Then the light left her eyes and she fell back, a pool of blood surrounding her corpse.

Three Guards came running in right after she felt weapons drawn. They looked around, first at the dead Female then at their King. The captain stepped forward and said, "Sire are you ok?"

Zach was looking out the opening from his room at the mass of bodies formed on the edges of his city. He growled then said, "Captain, I take it your soldiers are ready like I told them to be?"

"Yes your Highness."

"It seems the Rebels were trying for a sneak attack on the castle in the middle of the night. I want you to take everyone and kill them all . I don't want one male, female, or child left alive." Said Zach.

"Sire there has to be at least fifteen thousand out there we only have at best seven."

"They're a bunch of wood dwelling savages, they may know how to fight within their woods on their cliffs but they know nothing of war . Now go before I decide you're not fit to lead."

"You heard the King now move it." Yelled the Captain and they all ran out.

"I know you're out there father and mother." He said making his way to the railing and looking down. He waited for a little while as his solders made their way to meet the Rebels head on. It didn't take long for a fight to break out then soon a battle. He smiled as he saw blue light flashing from the front of the fight.

"I take it that is your father and your mother alongside him do you want us to go fight them head on." Said Viento.

"No, I think I have had enough of both of them." Said Zach and with that he opened his wings and dropped into the air.

Amy didn't know how the fight had started, all she knew is that they had been transported to the Rebel camp only a half hour ago with Demi and Katie. Soon things were being explained to Zap and Emily as Demi flew off to see if he could do something about Zach. Moments later there was a flash of blue from the high tower and Demi came crashing into the crowd, another few moments later soldiers were there and a fight started.

She dodged two large knights flipping around and blasting them with fire balls, dashing around another and taking him down with a kick to the gut. The sword on her back was starting to get heavy and it held her back. She wanted to have it in her hands so she could use it how it should be used but Zach still hadn't shown up and she wasn't going to go against what Katie had told her to do.

Another Knight attacked almost taking off her left arm. She ducked under the sword, spun around kicking his feet out from under him then with his own sword she stabbed him. She looked up, her heart racing taking a moment to look around. She saw Raven a few feet away fighting a group of soldiers, Demi was doing his best to fend off another bird like himself, and Zap and Emily fought side by side killing anything that got within a few feet of them.

The two of them worked so well together it was like watching a dance. She marveled at their skill but at the same time she didn't like how they left no one alive. Some of the soldiers here were fighting because they had to. They were more afraid of Their King than the Rebels. They didn't need to die like this.

As she watched them she felt a shiver run down her back. Something evil was coming and she knew it could only be one person. She looked into the sky just in time to see him. His back wings extending, eyes yellow, blue lightning flowing from his hands, Viento in both hands. Zach swooped down and in one quick movement shot past Zap and Emily.

In that moment everything seemed to stop moving. Emily looked at Zap a soundless scream on her face. Then slowly Zaps head fell from his shoulders the same wild look on his face that he always wore when fighting. His body fell too blood flowing fast from his neck hitting the ground with a thump his sword crashing to earth.

Emily turned to attack her son but before she could make it all the way around Zach was standing there and he stabbed her in the gut twisting the blade. He grinned and said for all to hear "You two have been nothing but trouble for me. The war is over." Then he ripped Viento from her pushing her limp body over.

Amy felt hot rage fill her as she saw Zap fall the person who had taken her in as a child when her father died. He may have done some bad things in life but he didn't deserve to die like this. She knew she had to put a stop to him, either by killing him or getting him away from Viento. She roared reaching back and pulling the sword Katie gave her from her back. She slowly let it unravel from the cloth marveling at the black blade she held.

The sword had a black blade with a silver edging, the guard was long and curved into sharp spikes on each end, the hilt made for either one hand or two, the pummel had a yellow gem with spikes around it. The sword was as long as she was tall and light as a feather. She realized that the weight she felt on her back was from the cloth covering the sword. As soon as she took hold of the hilt she could feel the sword amplifying her own powers.

She grinned and yelled "It's about time we put this to an end Zach."

He looked over to her "Nice sword what happened to the old one Amy, my love?"

"I'm not your lover anymore Zach you gave that up when you took over as King. Your time as King ends today, I'm going to take Viento from you and destroy it. Maybe then you'll come out of this madness." Said Amy getting into a Ready stance

"I don't know why you all think Viento is the reason I'm doing this. It's the power of the Reaper. It drives me to rule and to kill, and I like it. Len gave me this sword when he died and no one will ever take it away from me." Said Zach starting to growl, "I gave you all a chance to give up and except me as your King. None of you seem to want that so you can all die."

Raven ran up to stand next to Amy "We are with you. He'll pay for killing the leader and his wife."

"No, this fight will be between me and Zach. Can you agree to that Mighty King."

"Fine with me my soldiers won't attack now. But once you're dead I can't promise anything." Said Zach .

"Deal."

"Then let's get this over with." Said Zach and he lunged at her.

He was so fast that Amy barely had time to block his attack. The two swords met sparks. Amy drew on her power and marveled at how much there was. She felt as if she had as much power as the sun itself. She pushed the fire down the sword and pushed Zach off swinging her sword at his face. He ducked and parried blocking any blow she tried to land on him. Zach also had a bit of an advantage; his sword was a twin blade so he really had two swords. So every time she attacked and he blocked he would slash at her with the other.

She felt rushing wind hit her with each blow as Viento's wind power attacked along with Zach's lightning. If she didn't have this magic sword she would have died by now she knew it. She had fought Zach before but then he hadn't been trying to kill her so his blows were held back. Now he put every ounce of strength into each attack. He moved faster, hit harder, blocked better, than she thought was possible. Yet she was able to keep up with every blow. The power flowing through her from the sword made her feel alive.

She ducked under a slash from Viento and swung the sword up in a high ark. There was a yell of pain, then the sound of wings flapping hard. She looked up and saw blood coming from a deep cut on Zach's belly. He was flying high into the air anger on his face. He looked down at her, then with a quick swipe of Viento he shot a blast of electricity at her. She jumped out of the way, but as she rolled another blast came toward her.

He looked down on her with a smile and yelled "I'm tired of this game its time for you to die once and for all." His voice sounded like two, one dark the other his normal voice.

She knew that he knew she was a match for him that's why he flew. He thought taking to the air would save him. She smiles at that, little did he know that she had came up with a new trick to stop this. She pushed all of her energy into two spots on her ankles and with a boom fire roared. In a matter of seconds she was lifted into the air flying toward him with frightening speed.

Zach's look of anger quickly turned to shock as she flew at him. She readied her sword and attacked. He dodged it but she was ready for it, she flipped around and shot at him again. This time he blocked the attack then flew higher trying to stay out of the way of her blade. She found that she could fly much faster than he could and it didn't take long for her to catch up again. She attacked and managed to catch him in the wrist knocking one of the blades from his hands.

It flew toward earth Zach's eyes following its decent. She leveled off looking at him only one part of Viento in his grasp now. If he wanted to get the other half he would have to dive below her making it easy for her to attack him. She let the smile on her face grow.

"You bitch. You always seem to find a way to outsmart me, don't you? I never would have thought you could use your power over fire to do something like this." Said Zach his face still angry.

"Zach, please stop this you don't need to fight anymore. Look deep inside yourself and you'll see that you're not like this it's all Viento. That sword wasn't made by Len at all."

"Stop your lies." A tear ran down his face. He put a hand up wiping it away.

"Zach I still love you, I love you with all my heart and I always will. But I will do what I have to, to stop you from killing anymore." Said Amy lowering her sword.

More tears fell from Zach's eyes and they slowly started to turn green again the yellow glow fading as he said, "I...I can't stop it...I can't control myself anymore it's like something in my head is saying kill. Amy please..."

"Stop your blubbering and KILL HER!" came the voice of Viento.

"Shut up sword you lost he's coming out of your trance." Said Amy, looking at the blade.

"Oh is he now...look again Bitch." Said the sword.

Amy looked back at Zach, who's eyes were now red. Then there was a flash and he was right in front of her inches from her face. There was a pain coming from her chest. She looked down and saw Viento stabbing into her upper belly just below her heart. Her eyes went wide and a gasp fell from her lips the flames in her seemed to die. Then she was falling...falling....falling.

Amy opened her eyes looking up seeing Zach standing over her, Viento inches from her face. Her body wouldn't move, she was broken from the fall. Her head was propped up on something and she was able to see her chest. The marking of the flame was gone from her. She knew what that meant but she couldn't believe it. She looked once more at those yellow Red eyes of Zach's, the anger filling every line of his face. She coughed up some blood then said, "If you have to...kill me make it quick..."

"Kill her now be done with the bitch forever." Said Viento.

Zach drew back the sword then stopped looking at something over her shoulder. His eyes went back to their normal green his face no longer angry only shocked. He slowly let Viento go down as he said, "Len...is that you?"

Amy would have jumped if she could have at what the person that was next to her said, "It is me son...what have you done...I never raised you to kill innocent people. I wanted you to be great but not like this. Using a sword made by evil. I thought I taught you better."

The voice did belong to Len, who everyone thought was dead. She groaned then said, "Len...it can't be."

"Amy, it is me I've been imprisoned by Savage for the past few years. He faked my death. I don't know why but he let me go yesterday, I only arrived here a few moments ago." Said Len kneeling by her.

"No...I saw you die...you gave me Viento." Said Zach.

"Why would I give you a sword when I knew you could make a much better one than me?"

Zach blinked and it all came together. He had always wondered that. He was a better smith than Len was with magic swords Len hated making them so why would he make one for Zach. Then Viento yelled, "Kill them both now"

He looked down at the blade and he knew that it was the reason he couldn't control his powers. He growled saying, "No...I'm done with you." And he tossed the sword as far away as he could. Then, with as much energy as he could manage he transformed to his normal form. Then fell to the ground kneeling next to Amy. He picked her head up in his arms setting her on his lap.

She smiled at him "I knew you had it in you love."

He was crying now "What have I done."

"It wasn't your fault..."

"It was my fault, I was a monster I let my emotions get the better of me and didn't want to listen to reason."

"Stop talking and kiss me Zach...I don't have long and I want my last thing to be one last kiss form the male I fell in love with all those years ago." Said Amy coughing again.

He looked down at her, "No...someone here can heal you."

"No they can't, Viento's a magic sword and its cuts can't be fixed." Said Len his face still stony.

"My markings are gone Zach...that means I'm dying." Said Amy, tears in her eyes the light starting to fade in them.

He leaned down kissing her lips holding her broken body closer to his. He felt her move her tongue into his muzzle, he did the same holding the kiss for as long as he could. Then he felt her going limp and he slowly pulled away, slowly setting her body down. Her eyes looked up toward the sky, glassy and cold. She had gone while they were kissing just how she wanted to.

Pain filled Zach making his eyes water again as he started to sob into her fur. He was so angry with himself for doing this to her. It was all his fault and he knew it. He hadn't only killed the female he loved and who always had faith in him, he had killed his parents too and many more who never did anything as evil as he had. He deserved to hurt, to cry, to scream, to die.

He lifted his head and not two seconds later a fist hit him knocking him to the ground. Len stood over him and he yelled, "Stop your crying. You can't change what happened here but you can fix what is going to happen if you don't call off your army."

Zach stood up looking around. His army was standing ready to attack the Rebels. He sighed and said as loud as he could "The war is over...I surrender to the Rebels. They haven't come here to kill the people here, only to make me step down as King. All of you my followers think the same thing, most of you only stay because you're scared of my power. I don't blame you. So as my last act as king I now banish the law that says Wolves and Foxes are not allowed in the Kingdom, we will all be treated as equals. I grew up in this city treated as a second class citizen just because of my birth. I won't let any child go through what I did. I also now step down as King and pass my title to Captain Collins, he has always been honest and a good soul. I hope he can fix what I have done."

With that he turned and looked at the beautiful Fox who was now standing next to him, she sighed and said "Zach I have to say I didn't see any of this happening even with all my powers I still didn't think you would kill..."

Katie was cut off though by an evil laugh filling the air. She shivered at the voice then looked around with Zach to look at the tall back wolf with red markings on his chest, he smiled at them all clapping his hands and laughing. He looked over everything then said in a dark voice "My word Zach, this is better than I thought. My Kingdom is all ready for me finally."

"Savage, you fucker."

"Now now, no need for language I was only saying I'm happy how good of a job you did. You really did make a good puppet." Said Savage.

Zach looked him over then saw Viento on his hip "So Viento is yours I see."

"Yes made him myself. He has a bit of my own power in him, I'm glad you took such good care of him for me."

"Zach I don't think your ready for him." said Len growling.

"What do you mean what kind of power does he really have."

"The Grim's Power is Persuasion over others and Control of all magic. This is how they are able to kill the Reaper. He is here to do what his predecessors have always done." Said Katie.

"Yes, and I'll do just that but after I have you kill your friends. Just how I had you kill Zap and Amy...I see you tried to kill Emily but from what I see she is still alive, but for how long I'm not sure." Said Savage looking over at Emily's body which was still moving,

"You son of a bitch, I'll make you pay for that...you KILLED HER!" yelled Zach and in a flash he transformed into his demonic form. Only this time he had full control over it. The lightning ran over his arms, his eyes yellow and everyone could feel power coming from him.

"So that's how you want to play it is it well then...Lets do it." Said Savage, his markings glowed too, his fur transformed into a blood red, the markings going black, the tips of his ears were aflame, claws long and black, eyes yellow like Zach's and his body gave off such power it made the ground crack.

"What the hell?"

Savage smiled and said in a deep evil voice filled with power "You see Zach you're not the only one who can be a Demon. Now DIE!!!"

Yeah I know it's been ages since I have posted anything new but with my job and RL stuff I haven't been able to do much of anything. I finally found the time to sit down and get to work on my fave stories and my project which did fall behind a lot due to setbacks. And no, I still won't tell anyone what it is so stop asking me on PM's ty. I love you all and ty for reading my stories, I'll do my best to keep them coming a lot faster.
