Hue and Cry
Learning about poetic meter helped to hone my thoughts. interestingly, this poem follows the shakespearean sonnet rhyme scheme, but uses dactylic trimeter with masculine rhymes for the quatrains. the couplet is the traditional iambic pentameter.
