Rio's parents come home and Dakota's story gets told. This one's a bit longer then the rest, but a lot had to be said. Fair warning guys, this one gets kind of dark near the end.

"Hey.... hey.... Come on buddy, wake up."

Roused from his sleep by a whispered voice and a gently persistent hand shaking his shoulder, Rio cracked his eyes open to find his dad leaning over him.

"There we are. Found your note," the older tiger whispered, turning to crouch next to his son's bed, "Hop on, your mom is making pancakes."

After a few sleepy blinks at the clock next to his bed, the fourth grader grabbed his phone and rolled over, flopping onto his dad's back. The elder tiger stood up, easily piggybacking his son as he stepped over the sleeping forms of Mike and Toby, and made his way down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Here we have a miracle," Rio's mom said as they walked in, "My son, the one and only Ivorion Kendrick, awake and functioning at nine A.M. on a Saturday."

"Awake maybe," Rio replied, hopping off his dad's back and climbing onto a stool before dropping his head into his arms on the counter, "Functioning might be a bit of a stretch."

"Well, maybe a good breakfast will help," his mom chuckled, lifting his head up and sliding a plate of pancakes in front of his face.

"Speaking of," her husband said, sliding onto a stool next to his son, "I noticed an extra lump on his floor, and judging by the wings, I'm guessing that Toby is here as well as Mike. You are cooking for five this morning, not four."

"Well, six, technically..." Rio countered, hopping off the stool and heading to the fridge, "Or eight, I guess, depending."

"Hold on a minute," his mom said, grabbing his shoulder, "Eight? There's you, me, and your dad. That's three. Mike makes four, and Toby, who you never asked about staying over I might remind you, is five. How do you get to eight?"

"Does this have anything to do with why you didn't want us going into the basement?" his dad joined, "You know we don't have a problem with your friends spending the night, but you have to ask us before you just invite them over."

"Hey, I didn't invite anybody but Mike." Rio replied defensively, shaking off his mother's hand and retrieving the orange juice from the fridge. "Besides, it's not like it's my fault that they decided to beat up Dakota, and are you really gonna get mad at me cause Toby decided to help him out?"

"Well, no, I suppose not." His dad said, "In that case- wait, who beat up Dakota?"

"For that matter, who's Dakota?" Added his mom.

"I actually don't really know the answer to either question." The young tiger hopped back on to his stool and took a drink before liberally dousing his pancakes with syrup, "I didn't really recognize the three dudes that were picking on him. They're older, but I guess they go to our school. A stag and twin huskies, if that helps. As for the second question, Dakota ith dnthairth athlleep n mm btmn pjmass cthh-."

"How about you try swallowing?" His dad interrupted with a chuckle, "Or perhaps taking smaller bites?"

"Sorry," Rio grinned sheepishly after swallowing his mouthful of pancakes, "Dakota is sleeping downstairs in my batman pajamas cause he doesn't have a shirt and I had to wash his pants cause he had an accident because he didn't know where the bathroom was because he's never been here before, and besides he couldn't move very well because he got beat up because the three older kids are really mean to him because I don't quite know why yet, but anyway Toby brought him here and he fell asleep and he kicked his blanket off and I tried to cover him back up and he got all scared and Toby thinks that somebody did something really bad to him and I didn't want you two to go down and scare him cause he's kinda jumpy when he's sleeping and I really don't know why on that one either." Panting slightly, Rio nodded and took another drink.

His parents faced him with blank stares, blinking as they tried to parse the flood of information.

"I think I caught most of that..." His dad said slowly, "But I'm going to need some punctuation. Start from the top, a bit slower this time."

A half hour passed as the young tiger recounted the events of the past evening, opting to emit the fact that he had gained a boyfriend and lost his virginity, his parents interrupting here and there to ask questions.

"And so I thought that it would be a good idea if you guys stayed out of the basement until he woke up, ya know, so he didn't get all panicky again."

"Okay, that does make sense." His dad said, looking over at the door to the basement, concern for the stricken rabbit plain on his face, "And he's got your number, so he'll text or call when he wakes up?"

"I guess so, we didn't really agree to that, but it's what I would do."

"Right," his mom clapped, breaking the concerned silence that had settled into the bright morning light, "Looks like I need to make more pancakes. Do you know when Kaylie and Skyler are going to get here?"

"Well, if past experience is any indication," Rio's dad said, ruffling his hair in response to his head shake, "It'll be sometime here soon. They seem to be far better at waking up then you are."

"That's cause they get up early to go to the skate park before school. Also, they're weird..."

"They are not," his mom said, "They just decide to wake up in time to accomplish something productive before school. In contrast to you, who wakes up with just enough time to barrel half dressed out the front door and end up tying your shoes at your desk."

"Yeah, as I said, they're weird."

"Pick your battles, dear. This one isn't worth the siege," the elder tiger laughed, "You've got a better chance of..." He paused, ears perking up as he turned toward the front door, "Did the door just open?"

"Hey, Mr Kendrick!" A boy's voice floated in from the other room, accompanied by the sound of wheels on hardwood. A few moments later, a skateboarder totally obscured by a newspaper rolled into the kitchen, "Did you know that there have been burgelries in the neighborhood? Ya really oughtta start locking your door." Right before he ran into the fridge, a female terrier walked into the kitchen behind him.

"Right turn, Sky."

Without looking up from the newspaper, the puppy planted his right foot and swung into a ninety degree turn.

"They've mostly been taking-"

"Right, kick, right." Having rolled to the end of the breakfast bar, the puppy banked around it's far end and kicked off the floor at the end of the arc, ending up rolling behind his friend towards Rio's dad.

"Stereos, though, and you don't have one, so you should be good."

As he went to roll by, Rio's dad put his foot on the front end of the board and gently stopped him. Reaching out to fold down the top half of the paper, he was met with the earnest amber gaze of a helmeted terrier.

"Oh, yeah. The Cubs won, the Colts lost, and the Timber-wolves went into triple overtime, but they ended up winning."

"Good morning, Skyler. It's pronounced burglary, not burgelry, thanks for the warning, and I told you that the Colts weren't going to win. Can I have my newspaper now?"

"Sure. Here ya go!" He responded, relinquishing the paper and picking up his skateboard.

"While that was impressive, Kaylie," Rio's mom addressed the girl, "How many times do I have to remind you and your brother not to skateboard in the house?"

"Don't know, we haven't stopped yet, so at least one more time, I guess." Kaylie responded, breaking into a grin as Rio's dad chuckled at her response.

"Hey guys," Rio said, joining in as he finished his breakfast, "My mom made pancakes."

"Oh cool," Skyler grinned, propping his board against a stool and pulling off his helmet, "Do you guys have any more of that orange honey stuff left?"

"Naw, we're out, my dad ate it all."

"Dat's not true," Toby said, shuffling into the kitchen and waving in response to the chorus of good mornings, "Dere's more in da cupboard. I saw it last night."

"Score! That stuff's awesome!" Breaking into a trot, Skyler juked around Rio's mom and accelerated, leaping off the floor to land on the counter top. He had managed to open the door to the cupboard and was rummaging through it before Rio's mom turned.

"Skyler Baltien Rhys! Get your hands out of my pantry and your shoes off of my counter top!"

"Yeah!" His sister echoed sternly, "Come on Sky, you could have at least landed in the sink."

"Exactly. At least your sister has some... wait," The tigress stopped mid sentence and turned to face Kaylie, "Where he landed is hardly the point. He shouldn't be on the counter at all."

"Well, yeah," the female terrier nodded, motioning with her off hand for her brother to keep looking, "but if he had landed in the sink it'd be easier to clean, you could just rinse it out real quick."

Skyler, having caught his sister's signal, turned back to the task at hand and a few seconds later hopped off the counter with the jar of orange blossom honey, taking a wide berth around Rio's mom back to where he had stashed his board.

"I shouldn't have to clean footprints out of my sink either, and just what are you laughing at now?" The tigress shifted her gaze to her husband, who was chuckling softly.

"I am laughing at that," he responded, pointing to Skyler who was sitting at the breakfast bar with prize in hand, grinning ear to ear, "You've been flanked, dear."

"You sneaky little... How am I supposed to keep up with this many malcontents if you aren't going to give me backup?" She demanded, hands on hips, indulgent smile belying her stern tone.

"Just gotta stay on your toes, mom." Rio replied, glancing down as his phone buzzed.

Dude, gotta see what Shayne just sent me -Mike

"Is that Dakota?" His dad asked, catching the movement.

"Who's Dakota?" Kaylie and Skyler chorused.

"Long story, my 'rents can fill you in, and no. It was a furbook notification." He replied, "Gonna go wake Mike up though, if I've gotta be alive this early, so does he."

"It's almost ten o clock!" Kaylie laughed, "We've been up for hours!"

"See mom? They're weird!" Rio trotted up the stairs, laughter fading behind him. He had barely stepped into his room when the door shut behind him. He turned and found a grinning Mike, phone outstretched.

"I've already unscrambled it, so just scroll down."

"What could be so interesting that... no way!"

The bear cub's phone was open to a message from Shayne: 'Took a bit of convincing on both sides, but we ended up having a fun night. There's more, but my phone won't scramble videos and I promised I would only show you these three pics. p.s., that spit shake you and Rio do doesn't seem quite so gross anymore ;)

Scrolling past the text, Rio almost dropped the phone. The first was a pic of Zac peeing in the bushes that Shayne had somehow removed all the shadows from, so their friend's cubhood was in plain view. The second, taken selfie style by Zac, showed Shayne hugging him from behind, one paw lifting up his shirt, the other disappearing down his pants. The last, and most assuredly not least, showed the pair of them grinning at the camera, one arm over each others shoulders the other holding the camera, faces covered in runny white goo that was dripping into their bare chest fur.

"Duuude... is that what I think it is?" Rio breathed, shuffling to relieve the tightness in his shorts.

"If you're thinking about the stuff I've shot up your cute, fuzzy, little rump, then yes. Yes it is." Mike grinned, "My question is, why send it to me at all?"

"Bragging rights, maybe? But if that's what he's after, then we've got a lot more to brag about. No video though." Rio looked up from the phone, ears folding back at his friend's over the top whistling. "Wait... Is there?"

"Kinda... The first time we did it, ya know, in the bathroom? I... kinda... recorded that one. But I haven't shown anybody!!! I wouldn't do that to you. Not unless you said it was okay."

"Well.... I guess that's okay. I might wanna watch that later."

"I wanna watch the video Shayne's got..." The bear cub grinned ear to ear, then darted to Rio's dresser and started rummaging through the top drawer, coming up with his camera. "Think if we showed them ours, they'd show us theirs?"

"Probably. But in return for letting them see it," Rio gently took the camera from his friend's hands, "you owe me something."

"What?"

"Well, I haven't gone to the bathroom yet, and- whoa there!"

Rio didn't even have to finish the sentence before Mike had dropped to his knees and yanked the tiger's shorts down.

"Gonna be hard to pee with this, so it's got to go." The bear grinned, bouncing Rio's erect cubhood in his hand before sliding it into his muzzle. The young tiger lolled his head back and groaned as his cock slid in and out of his best friend's mouth, grabbing the bear's ears and lightly tugging in time to his gentle thrusts. After a minute or two, Mike gently freed his ears and slid back until just the tip was still in his mouth. After a quick wink at Rio, he grabbed shaft and started rapidly jerking the tiger off. Within seconds, Rio's knees almost gave out as he spasmed into his friend's mouth, watery spurts painting the back of Mike's throat.

"Wow... that's never gonna get old.... thanks... and here it comes." Rio panted, emptying his bladder. Grinning around the dick in his mouth, Mike let his mouth fill completely with the hot urine, cheeks bulging cutely. Rio laughed and held up the camera. Mike's eyes sparkled and he nodded as best he could, letting Rio's piss leak from the corners of his mouth. After the tiger snapped the pic, the bear swallowed the warm treat down with a big gulp. A few swallows later, he stood, pulling Rio's pants up with him, and pushed his tongue into the tiger's mouth, letting his friend taste himself.

"Well, that was fun," He grinned, taking the camera. "That is an amazing picture."

"I know, right?" Rio chuckled, grabbing his phone, "You look so cute with my pecker in your mouth. Seeing as Shayne sent us pictures, we should return the favor. I'm thinking... that one and the one you took right after banging me in the bathroom."

"Are you sure?" Mike asked, "You were kinda scared about letting him know that we're boyfriends, now you're wanting to send him a pic of you piss soaked in diapers?"

"Kinda nervous, not gonna lie." Rio nodded, "But after the stuff he sent us, I don't really think he's gonna make fun of me."

"Makes sense," Mike replied, thumbs flashing over his phone, "Now, I'm gonna borrow your toothbrush. Much as I like the taste, I don't need your parents smelling you on my breath."

"I dig it," Rio grinned, then laughed out loud as a text came in from Zac, followed immediately by one from Shayne..

**_O.o *drooling*

Okay you two. My house, NOW!!_**

He turned his phone so Mike could see, and the bear cub laughed out the door into the bathroom.

"Looks like we have a busy weekend."

Grinning widely with the possibilities swirling through his head, Rio pulled clean jeans out of his dresser. Halfway through getting dressed his phone buzzed again. This time, the same unknown number from the night before.

_ Ummm.. Hello? _

"Dad, dad, dad!!" He yelled, eating carpet as he fell over his own pant legs before yanking them up and scrambling down the stairs, "He's awake!!!"

Conversations stopped as the young tiger came barreling around the corner, and his dad caught him as he slid on the hardwood.

"Who's awake?" "Dakota, right?" Kaylie and Skyler asked in stereo, getting ignored by their friend as he handed his phone to his dad. The elder tiger took it, glanced at the text, and hit the call button, waiting patiently for the skittish bunny boy to answer the call..

"Good morning, did you sleep well?" He asked several seconds later, all eyes glued to him as his wife and the assembled cubs tried to follow his half of the conversation, "My name is Ivor Kendrick, may I ask your name?.... No, you have the right number. This is my son Ivorion's phone, you met him last night though he probably introduced himself as Rio... Yes, the tiger, that's right.... Okay, well it's my pleasure to speak with you, Dakota. Would you care for some breakfast? My wife made pancakes.... No need to explain, the boys mentioned that you weren't in the best shape. We can lend a hand up the stairs if you'd like, otherwise take all the time you need.... Sure, that's not a problem, I'll send him right down... Okay, we'll see you in a minute... goodbye." Ending the call, he handed the phone back to his son.

"Well? What did he say?" Skyler asked, bouncing in his seat.

"That he would like to have some pancakes. Rio, he's gonna need some help getting up the stairs and he asked for you specifically. Everybody else, I'm only going to say this once. Behave. I don't know exactly what happened to that little boy, but he is very skittish and I don't need anybody scaring him, got it?"

A chorus of agreement rang all around as Rio trotted to the door. Popping it open just enough to pass through, he closed it behind him and slowly headed down. Glancing about, he spotted Dakota burrowed into his pile of cushions twirling his phone nervously.

"Good morning, Dakota. How do you wanna do this?"

"What are you talking about? All you have to do is pick me up, how hard is that to figure out?" The bunny retorted, trying hard to maintain a tough front, but the quiver in his lower lip gave him away.

"It's alright, you know. We're not gonna hurt you, I promise." Rio said, sitting cross legged at the foot of the stairs, "I don't know what happened, or who did it to you, but you're safe here. Me and my friends won't let anybody get you."

"Right," Dakota scoffed, "Never heard that before."

"Totally not joking," getting to his feet, Rio crossed the distance and held out his paw, "My dad will take care of everything, and if anybody tries to mess with you at school, me and my friend's will back you up."

"You don't know what you're getting into," the rabbit said almost to himself, dropping his gaze into his lap "Everybody that's ever tried to help..." He looked up, tear filled green eyes meeting Rio's earnest gaze, "Before I shake your hand, you have to know. I told your friend that my parents are out of town."

"Yeah, he told me, when are they coming back?"

"They aren't." The rabbit's gaze dropped back to his lap as his tears overflowed, leaving shimmering trails down his muzzle, "They're.... they died when I was three."

"Dude..." Rio dropped slowly to the ground and reached out to comfort the crying bunny, stopping as Dakota shook his head without looking up. Being careful not to let the stricken cub see his movements, he grabbed his phone and vid called his dad. As soon as the elder tiger answered, he frantically motioned for silence. His dad nodded and muted his audio as Rio killed his video feed. Setting the phone down so that his dad would be sure to hear the conversation, he turned back to Dakota. "That's so sad... what happened?"

"Car crash, I think. After that, our uncle was supposed to be taking care of us, but I never met him. He's always off running around the world. He makes enough money so the bills are paid, we have food, and nobody asks questions, but he doesn't care what happens to us...Anyway, it was just me and my two older brothers. Things were fine for a while. My oldest brother took care of the chores and made sure there was food in the house, and that kinda stuff. I did my best to help, but I was so small.... my other brother, all he wanted to do was drink and make out with his girlfriend, but that was fine cause Ricky took care of me... but then he left too. He graduated high school last year and moved across the country for college and left me with Chris." Dakota laid his head back against the wall, his gaze unfocused as it looked back through his memories. "Things were okay for a few months after Ricky left. Chris started drinking more, and I think he got into drugs too, cause I started finding needles all over the house. But, he didn't pay me any more attention then he ever did, so it really wasn't that bad... until his girlfriend stopped coming over. I guess she didn't want to be stuck with someone who had to watch a kid, so she dumped him for his best friend and stopped talking to him. He got really mad and said he didn't have a brother anymore. Anyway, one day I came home from school and he was just sitting in the middle of the room, just staring at the wall. He said that he hadn't fucked or tweaked since his girlfriend dumped him." Dakota's eyes widened, and fresh tears started to well up as the force of the memories caused the little bunny to start shaking, "He said that it was all my fault. That if I wasn't such a sissy Ricky never would have left. He said... he said that he wished I had died in the crash... If I had then he wouldn't need to watch me and his girlfriend would still be fucking him and giving him drugs. He blinked then, and it was like he was just seeing me for the first time. He smiled and held out his arms, beckoning me closer. I didn't want to get near him after what he said, but it had been so long since I had gotten hugged that I couldn't help myself..."

The trembling rabbit's words trailed off as he looked down and roughly wiped the tears from his muzzle. After several deep breaths, he looked back up and Rio reflexively flinched back from rabbit cub's gaze. All signs of life or emotion had drained from Dakota's emerald green eyes and he sat stock still as he finished his story.

"He held me tight, and it felt really nice, like everything was going to be okay. He said that things had gotten bad, but he had found a way to fix his problems, and by tomorrow everything would be back to normal for him. He let me go, and I did my homework, he even cooked dinner, and then tucked me in." The little rabbit chuckled coldly and dropped his gaze, "I actually believed him... I was happy when I fell asleep. It didn't last long though. I woke up later that night when somebody opened my door, but I thought it was Chris, so I just rolled over and tried to go back to sleep until I felt someone breathing on my neck. I opened my eyes and saw a husky that I didn't know. He smiled at me, and told me that it was time to play. Before I could ask what he meant, he yanked my blanket off, picked me up and tossed me on the floor. I ran, but another person, a stag this time, was standing in my doorway. I tried to get by him, but he punched me in the stomach. I fell over, and he kicked me a few times before pulling my pajama shirt halfway off and tying it closed over my head. I was crying and screaming for Chris to help me, but that only made him laugh. They picked me up and carried me down the hall, they were talking but I couldn't hear them cause my ears were all tangled up. I figured out what they were after when I felt my pants being pulled down. I tried to get away, I kicked, and bucked, and twisted my shoulders, but they started hitting me again. In the stomach, in the chest, between my legs... they just kept hitting me until I stopped fighting them. My underwear got pulled off and they put me on the floor, moved my knees almost to my head... and fucked me. He shoved into me hard, and I screamed, and screamed, begging him to stop and for Chris to come help me, but he just laughed and kept going... I don't know who went first, but they took turns. As soon as the first one was finished, the second one took his place. Eventually, they cut my shirt off and as soon as my eyes cleared I saw Chris... my brother... sitting in the corner with a needle in his arm, grinning at me. He gave me a thumbs up and... I just gave up. When the husky turned my head and shoved his dick into my mouth I didn't even fight... I just let him do it. After that, they turned me onto my hands and knees and double teamed me for a while, each one taking turns at each hole... even Chris.... After a while, I guess they got bored, cause they each shot their stuff one last time, Chris looking me straight in the eyes as he made me eat his... The two other guys left and I did my best to ask why... It took a few tries cause my throat really hurt, but when he understood he laughed. He said that if I wanted to keep living in the house, that I had to play with whoever he told me to, because that was how he was getting his drugs now. The first time was a few months ago. It's happened twice since."

Rio sat stunned as Dakota's story sank in, unable to completely come to grips with the magnitude of pain and betrayal he had endured.

"Dude...." He breathed, "Why didn't you tell anybody? Ya know, call the cops or something?"

"I can't, cause he isn't the only person that would get in trouble. He said that if the cops found out, that Ricky and our uncle would get arrested for leaving. Then I would be all alone and would have to sell myself anyway for food, so I might as well just let them do it while I still have the house. He's right." He lifted his gaze back to meet Rio's, fresh tears glistening in the morning sun, "So what do I do now?"

"I... He isn't.... He can't be, that's not..." Rio's mind spun with the implications, unable to find a way out for the beleaguered bunny. Reaching out, he grabbed his phone and flicked the video back on, the screen filled with the image of his parents sitting in their bedroom, "Did you catch all that dad?"

"Yes," the elder rabbit nodded, fury warring with horror and sadness across his face in waves, "We heard everything."

"You poor child..." his wife said openly crying.

"You won't tell anybody, will you?" Dakota asked, trembling anew from the terror of his brother's threat becoming reality/

"No, we won't." His dad said, forestalling his wife's protest with a paw on her lap, "However, you will not be going back to that house, until we can figure something out, you're going to be staying here."

"But my brother will come after me! He's got friends-"

"And so do you, right Rio?"

"Yeah! Me and the guys will keep an eye on him at school and walk him back here and everything." Rio turned to Dakota and put his arm across his shoulders, "We'll watch your tail, man."

"Besides," Rio's dad continued, "Chris' threat works both ways. You can't call the cops, but neither can he, so nobody can make you go back there. By the way, as soon as Rio called, me and my wife came upstairs, you don't have to be embarrassed around Rio's friends. For now, you get to just be a kid again, so come upstairs and let's have some pancakes."

"Assuming that the ravenous horde hasn't eaten them all." Rio's mom laughed, wiping her eyes, "I had better go make more. We'll see you in a few minutes, okay Dakota?"

"Y-yeah... Okay."

The phone blacked out as the call was ended and Rio stood, extending his paw once more.

"Let's go man. Pancakes are a killer way to meet people, and you have a few people to meet this morning."

Several warring emotions danced through the bunny's eyes, but eventually hope defeated fear and he took Rio's hand.
