It was definitely making me smile widely.

** ** I shake my head at your exuberance, knowing I already could fly but in a different way. Though for now, I won't tell her and take away her happiness again as another thought crosses my mind. "That sounds great. Rheria," I pause, a chilling breeze flowing through the forest at the same time. "How old are you exactly?" I ask, looking over while keeping my right hand on your warm neck, your body heat lessening the cold.

Killjoyrule:

** ** I start to answer before standing there quite confused. "I....... uhh.... don't know actually. Dragons don't really pay much mind to their age. They just live life as it happens." I look around as it darkens even more, seeing several shadows that were moving around, making me nervous as my tail no longer sways. "Can we hurry back home?"

StarLight Nova:

** ** I instantly pick up on your unease through our bond, surveying the forest as nighttime arrives. With the months getting colder daytime does not stick around very long. I breathe calmly, walking closer to you, tightening my grip around your neck while reaching into my mind for my energy. I gather up a small amount and direct it through my body to hit the ground, sending warning pulses to frighten off anything that comes close. Some instinct within me tells me to protect the dragoness beside me, to not let her be harmed and I agree whole heartedly.

"Of course Rheria." I answer verbally, starting to walk again, the clearing in the tree just up ahead. Even if she does not know her age, I would guess her to be no more than ten years old at the most, I wonder to myself as we breech the forest and head directly to my cabin while wrapping my hand around Rheria's neck to keep her calm. I rub up and down her smooth scales slowly, reaching for my energy again to open the door as we approach. As Quin Shun trained me over the weeks, I had added a few commodities to my cabin, mainly the plumbing as stated before, heating and air conditioning and lights. Most importantly lights.

We soon arrive at my cabin and I slow down to let Rheria enter first, following close by to close the door before flicking the lights on. I let Rheria settle down while I head over to the refrigerator and take out another ten of the strips of meat I had cut earlier, leaving ten of them left. No doubt I will need to get more tomorrow and over time to get her back to her sleek form. I bring them over to the counter and take out the three pans again, placing three strips of meat on each of them while carefully lighting a flame beneath each of them.

As they simmer I go back to the fridge and open the door, looking over the shelves for something but close the door without taking anything. Turning around to face the open space in the cabin, I close my eyes and concentrate, bringing my energy forward to materialize an object with my hands by my sides. "Virtutem animus affero, large steel bowl." I say, feeling the flow of energy begin to work, materializing a large oversized steel bowl like a dog bed. When it is finished I open my eyes, staring at the bowl before going back to heat the other seven strips of meat.

After about fifteen minutes the meat is ready and I bring them over and put them next to the large steel bowl. I look up to see where you are, giving a small smile and a brush of love across our bond before saying the words again. "Virtutem animus affero, cool water." My energy gets to work when I finish speaking, nice cold water materializing into the bowl, stopping as it fills up. I walk over, spreading my right arm out extravagantly. "Dinner is served my mate."

** ** I follow you in quite eagerly, glad for the comfort of your arm around me. Walking over to the couch I lay on it, purring loudly with my belly facing up. The warm scent of meat reaches me from your cooking, peaking my interest as I watch you cook the meat. My mouth waters from the sight hungry after all we had been through with a massive appetite. When you set it down I thank you with a nod of my head before digging in much faster than usual, ripping apart the food till each sliver of meat was eaten and the water drunk.

"You know... I'm actually afraid of the dark.... it scares me so much my mother used to light a fire to help me sleep. Then one night the air grew so cold that the water from my breath froze in the air and the nearby pool turned to ice in an instant. Mom hid me in the deepest part of the cave before going outside of the room. All I could hear was her roars and the sound of a metal like screech before it was silent. My mom told me to run and never turn back.... I did so. Later on I ignored her warning to find her sleeping, the temperature normal again but only her body cold as the stone around her as she slept...." I sniffle a bit at the memory, visibly shaking.

** ** I walk over to the couch and sit on the ground in front of it, watching you in turn eat ravenously. Hearing you talk about your fear and your mother puts a frown on my face. I pat the ground next to me with my left hand, inviting you to walk behind me with me resting on your side and the couch to your back. I wrap my right arm around your neck again to comfort you as you tell your story, our bond growing stronger as our emotions flare up. Realizing that your mother was killed causes a bundle of confusing emotions to rise up in my mind. With my left leg bent and my right leg on the ground the same way, I clench my left hand into a fist and close my eyes. _Something must have killed her...Something evil, malicious, and uncaring._I sit on the ground, trembling in anger at the thought of someone killing a dragon, a mother no less.

My energy responds violently, the lights in the cabin flickering on and off as a haze forms around me. It takes me a few moments but I shake my head, whispering a silent 'no'. I open my eyes again and my energy calms as the lights stay on, turning to see you shaking, your scales rubbing up against me in fright. I stand up crouched, waddling to you so I can wrap both my hands around your neck. _"It's going to be ok Rheria. I will protect you. I am sorry for your mother. I will find whoever did it and make them pay. I swear I will. By my word as a protector, no harm will come to you as long as you are with me."_I say, comforting her as best I can. I few tears escape my eyes while I bury my head against your scales, our bond growing ever stronger, letting us understand one another that much better. _ _

** ** I whimper loudly as I feel you get angry, forcing me into your grip shaking tremendously. I was seriously scared from the memory; my eyes taking on an almost vacant look even after you say all you had to say. It was obvious the experience had been severely traumatic for me. Snuggling up as close as I can I just try to distract myself from the constant playback of that dreadful screech in my mind.

** ** The link between us becomes strong enough where I can glimpse brief pictures from your mind about the night your mothered died. I tighten my grip around you, your emotions seeping into me as I know exactly how you feel. My sister...my mother, father...all gone. I start to cry quietly as we hold each other, feeling our pains and sorrows. My mind goes back to a song I once listened to, holding a lot of truth within it. "I'm telling you that, it's never that bad. Take it from someone who's been where you're at. Laid out on the floor, and you're not sure, you can take this anymore. At this point of the song I lean back, trailing my hands across your neck to bring up your muzzle to look directly at me. "Well, everybody's hit the bottom and everybody's been forgotten. When everybody's tired of being alone. Yeah, everybody's been abandoned, left a little empty handed. So if you're out there barely hanging on." As I finish that line, I tilt my head forward, bringing my forehead to touch yours again like we did earlier in the day. After a few seconds I give a quick kiss before continuing the song, looking into your eyes while sitting on the floor with my hands on your chin.

"Just give it one more try to a lullaby, and turn this up on the radio. If you can hear me now, I'm reaching out, to let you know that you're not alone. ** ** I sniffle before hearing you sing, listening to the words that it had to it. It was oddly soothing and soon made me stop crying about halfway through. I even start singing myself a quiet wordless tune that my mother used to sing to me when I was sad. I nuzzle you kissing back and staring deep into your eyes. I realized just how lucky I am to have a mate like you, just simply holding onto you. "I ... don't know what I would do without you..." I snuggle close, sending as much love as I can over. "It was a beautiful song. I wish I knew songs with words in them. Most draconic songs are just sounds that signify feelings and emotions and situations."

** **"Neither would I." I reply, leaning back while letting my left arm trail your muzzle again to rub your snout while I bring my right hand down to hold you paw. Our bond grows exponentially the more we understand, care and protect each other. "That does not make them any less meaningful." I say, smiling fondly before looking down, my left hand leaving your snout to fall to the ground limply as I close my eyes. "I might as well be in the same position as you are in. My sister left around a year ago and I don't know where she is. My parents died in a car crash some months ago and now I am in this business of Protecting the earth from evil." I sigh, wondering if my dream of becoming a hero was only meant to be that, imaginary.

** ** "Thanks." I purr loudly to the rubs feeling a lot better. "I'm sad to hear you lost your family... I will try my best to keep you happy. You're all I have now. If you hadn't come when you did..... I was almost dead. Food was hard for me to find and I felt my body weakening. You saved my life and will always be my hero." I lick your cheek before resting my head near you purring lightly.

StarLight Nova:

** **"You don't have to thank me. You will never have to worry about going hungry again Rheria." I say, opening my eyes to rest my right hand on your neck. I stroke your scales casually; enjoying the time we spend together, not worrying about anything else right now. I tilt my head down and merge our minds together, our love growing exponentially. Sometime later I lift my head up and open my eyes to look over at a window, seeing that it is nighttime and that the moon is out. I look back down to admire your scales before rousing you. "Come on Rheria, time to go to bed. You will need your strength for tomorrow." I say, slowly standing up, hearing a few creaks in my bones.

I back up and wait for my mate to join me before walking to my bedroom. I walk off to the side to undress, putting my staff against the wall. Climbing onto the bed, I motion for you to come on, lying stark naked above the covers. I know I won't need to huddle under the blankets when I can cuddle up against you, my very own furnace.

** ** I smile widely as we lay there together, feeling such an amazing amount of love between us, linking us so tightly together it would be nearly impossible to break our bond. It was like waking up from all the pain I had been through to only feel your love showering me. When you get up I follow, my tail wagging tiredly and jumping into the bed with you, snuggling closely to your body purring loudly. "Goodnight my sweet love."

StarLight Nova:

** ** I turn onto my left side to squeeze you tight, my right arm going over your back and around your wings carefully. The feel of your scales on my skin is incredible; everything I imagined it would be if I got to actually see or be with a dragon is phenomenal. "Goodnight Rheria, my mate." I whisper back, your purring lulling me to sleep as I reach out to give you a kiss on the cheek before laying my head on the pillows next to you. I put my left arm under the pillow and pull tight, bringing my hips up against you body to swing my right leg over you in a loving embrace. I then slide my right hand down to rest it near the base of your skull and scratch your sensitive scales there before drifting off to sleep.

As the two lovers rest for the night, a group of military men are traveling up to where the young Protector is said to be. They are not alone though as two minions are trailing them, and even if it may take half a week for them to arrive, they have all the patience in the world. In other parts of the world, up North in Alaska in a secret scientific installation, a senior Protector of Earth is helping the scientists with their experiments to revive their own dinosaurs so they can have a fighting chance against the evil presence. If that does not work, then he has an ace up his sleeve that he has only told very few about up there. If it comes to it, he will donate some of his DNA to help Bio-engineer a line of war dragons solely designed to combat the threat.

While the old Protector is up North, two men, Ken Rogers and Robert Olario are far East in Russia to scout out where the resurrected dinosaurs are and what they are doing. The mission is surely dangerous but in this time of crisis, there are little options to choose from. Back in the US, Anea and Paul Veraguard are conversing with the President in private, discussing what needs to be done. They tell him what they have gathered, ancient shields and weaponry from Arizona Phoenix that are almost weaponized and ready for battle. They agree on multiple plans of defense and attack, preparing for the worse and best case scenarios.

Quin Shun still searches for the father of the dragoness Rheria who is bonded to Colby Daniels, a newly apprenticed Protector. Though he has hopes she might not be the last dragon, it is inevitable he would have either died or gotten captured by humans. Still, he searches as he had given his word to help the young dragoness find her other parent. Colby Daniels deserves a break from training; Quin Shun knows he will keep training in a bare minimum. That boy has a lot of potential, and is sure to make and excellent Protector should he survive all this.

As morning breaks, clouds dot the sky, sending down a light drizzle of rain down into the forest. My leg had slipped off of Rheria sometime in the night but I only cuddle closer to her. I eventually flicker my eyes open to see my mate sleeping next to me peacefully. I spend a few more moments watching her, entranced by the movement of her chest and the fine detail of her muscles beneath her scales. When my body starts to become uncomfortable I roll away carefully so as not to disturb her before getting up and yawn. I get dressed and walk out the bedroom to prepare Rheria something to eat. Since she said she would most likely be laying her eggs today, I want her to be as comfortable as she can.

Once at the refrigerator, I take out the last ten strips of meat and heat them up like I did the last few times. After this I will have to hunt for more food for her. She will surely be tired after laying five eggs even if they are not fertile and contain hatchlings. While the meat cooks, I materialize water in the large steel bowl I had left near the kitchen for her to drink from, adding some vital nutrients and vitamins as well. When I am done I bring the strips of meat and set them down next to the water bowl, walking down the hall to descend the stairs to the basement to get myself something to eat. When I return with some corn and bread I sit down on the couch and wait for Rheria to wake up.

Killjoyrule:

** ** I wake up feeling sore, my lower body feeling so very heavy with eggs. Making my way out of the bedroom to see you eating I walk up to give your cheek a kiss. _"Morning sweety."_I head over eagerly to my food as I start scarfing it down and drinking as much as I can.

StarLight Nova:

** ** I close my eyes and purr at the kiss before opening my eyes again. "Good morning Rheria. I hope you are feeling well today." I say, my eyes trailing down to see her abdomen swollen with five eggs as she gulps down the meat and vitamin enhanced water. I blink my eyes again, the pupils changing into slits and then pupils again without me having to do anything. My smile fades as a small wave of nausea washes over me but I shake my head and it vanishes. Weird, I think to myself. My thoughts turn back to when she is going to lay her eggs today; the best thing to do is prepare for it.

After I finish my bread and can of corn, I deposit them in the trash near the door and walk a feet or two back to look at the couch. I place my left hand on my hip and raise my right hand up to my chin to think. Quin Shun has taught me a lot of things in the span of a few weeks, elementary and basic compared to what he can probably do. My eyes widen and I snap my hand as I remember one charm he gave me shortly after I had mostly mastered the materializing charm. I walk into my bedroom and open the drawers to my nightstand, trying to find where I put it. I stand back up and look around some more before heading to the kitchen and opening up one of the drawers close to the sink.

"There it is." I exclaim, pulling out the transfiguration charm and slipping it over my head. It has the same principles as the materializing charm but can change and morph things into new objects about the same size, more or less. I now go back to the couch and walk behind it, giving Rheria a pat on the head and a quick kiss on the snout as I pass her. I breathe in deeply to calm my mind, placing both my hands firmly onto the couch while spreading my legs for balance before closing my eyes. "Mutatio couch in nest." I say and the charm begins to glow a natural white, essentially meaning change couch into nest.

The changes happen gradually as the couch turns into liquid and sinks into the ground. I keep my hands splayed where they are as if the couch was still there while the ground becomes soft and sinks. Minutes go by as I maintain my concentration, adding some of my energy to the charms as the bed is pushed down into a pancake and sticks to the floor, following it as a depression forms, making my feet sink down with it but not get stuck. I keep it up until the size is large enough to fit you in it comfortably; all the material contained within the couch preserved now acting as soft bedding. I look up, letting my hands drop to my sides as the charm stops glowing and I smile.

"There you go Rheria, a nice soft bed for you to lay your eggs in." I say, kneeling down to pat the insulation a few times. The dip in the floor is low enough so when a dragon Rheria's size lies down in it, the edge of it would be up to her chest. I scoot back a few inches and sit down, inviting Rheria to join me and try out her nest.

** ** I continue my eating, smiling before watching you run off. I give a curious look before going back to my food, finishing fast. I kiss back before watching you do whatever you were doing. I thought your behavior strange at best but lay down near you anyhow to wait. When you turn the bed into a nest though my instincts immediately kick in as I purr, making my way into it, curling up next to you and smiling widely. "I love it. It's perfect for me to lay in. So comfortable and nice. Just the right size too." I say, giving nuzzles and licks smiling widely.

** **"I am glad you like it Rheria." I reply, wrapping my left hand around you to rub your neck scales. I lean my head forward to kiss you on the cheek, resting my head against you so your head is on my chest. I envelop your mind with love and compassion of a mate. After a few minutes I get up to take off the charm and place it back in the kitchen drawer. I turn around and walk towards the door, preparing to go off to hunt for some more food for you. "Ok Rheria, I need to go find more food for you. Make yourself comfortable and I will be back as soon as I can Ok? If you need me you can reach me by our link, though only with emotions if I need to go beyond our range of communications." I say, walking back to the nest to kiss you on your snout while placing my right hand lightly on your abdomen to feel the eggs that are there.

** ** "Ok. I love you so much, please be safe as you hunt. I would hate for you to get hurt." I kiss back, purring loudly. I feel your hand glide lightly along my abdomen, making me giggle. _"Maybe someday there will be more than just duds in there. I would quite like that."_I smile widely, curling up in the warm nest to rest, feeling quite lethargic.

StarLight Nova:

** **"You don't have to worry about me. I can handle myself well enough thanks to Quin Shun's training." I respond, moving my hand to feel the bumps caused by the eggs against your scales. I nod my head when you say that you would want something else other than unfertile eggs. I pat you abdomen one more time before walking out of the nest and open the door. The scene that greats me is dark and dreary, the light rain having turned into a steady downpour with the clouds dark and ominous. I look back to see you resting comfortably in the nest I made for you before whispering a spell to coat make my robes water resistant.

I head out and close the door behind me, the water sliding off of me as I put my gray hood up. When I reach the forest line I place my right hand on the damp bark and use my energy to locate some prey. Most animals have gone into hiding to wait out the storm but they cannot hide from me. After a minute or two I turn left and set out to find something to kill. Halfway to the first animal, a doe sheltered under a large tree, thunder sounds close by. I stop and flinch, looking up to see a flash of lightning and another rumble of thunder soon after. I extend my mind back to Rheria and reassure her I am all right through emotions.

Soon I carry on, slowing down as I hide behind some pushes and peak out to see the doe with a stag with her. I smile, knowing that she had company but not knowing what as their proximity to one another threw off my radar. I close my eyes and extend my mind to them, placing myself at their neck before and whisper two silent words. Two thumps are heard as they fall, never knowing what hit them. Then with the words of materializing, I create a cotton bag and a steel blade and rise from my position. First I cut off the hides and then slice the meat into 13 strips and place them in the bag.

Lightning flashes and thunder sounds numerous times as I make my way through the forest to kill an elk, skinning the hide and slicing 15 strips of meat and a wolf, taking its pelt and gathering 7 strips of meat. With the bag becoming harder to lift and the strain of energy causing me to breathing slightly heavy by the time it is around noon, I make my way back to the cabin. With the bag over my shoulder and the water becoming an outright downpour, protected by my water spell, I continue on back to the cabin.

** ** I smile, glad for your reassurances that you would be fine, a heavy weight lifted from my mind. It was hard for me not to worry completely though as I paced some around my nest before laying back down bored. Whenever you touch my mind and send good emotions to me I smile happily, finally finding peace of mind to wrap myself into the nest and rest, waiting for you.

** ** It does not take me long to enter the clearing that contains my cabin with a gravid dragoness within. I stop for a few seconds to reposition the heavy bag on my shoulder before continuing, the heavy downpour causing the ground to turn muddy. I blink my eyes to open the door with a click, quickly going inside to escape the rain. I drop the bag onto the floor, making a squelch as the water pools on the wooden floor. I had put a spell on me, but not the bag. My breathing is heavy as I turn around to look outside, regarding the weather nervously. "Well, we won't be going outside anytime soon if this keeps up for a day or two." I say, picking the brown cotton bag up again to bring it to the kitchen.

Once I set it down I walk over to Rheria to see her napping in the nest I made for her. I smile, quietly kneeling down beside her to rest my left hand on your neck. Sometime soon she should be laying her eggs, and I want to be ready for that. Getting back up, I walk into the kitchen again to take out the thirty four pieces of meat I got and stash them inside the refrigerator. I clean my hands and dry the puddle of water in front of the door before going back to sit down on the outside of the nest while placing my hand on Rheria's neck as I send my love and compassion across our link.

** ** I rouse when you reenter the house to look at you curiously before giving a happy purr as you walk back in. "I see you found food!" I announce quite eagerly, glad to know I had some to eat. "I really feel the need to lay approaching sweety. It can't be more than an hour until I lay." I purr to the hand on my neck, nuzzling and licking you, feeling quite happy with the current situation.

** **"I will be here with you for every moment of it." I reply, leaning into your affections before standing up. I walk around the nest before stepping in, sitting back down in front of you. I reach my arms out to lift your left wing gently, bringing my right arm to lay it on your abdomen to feel the eggs that rest inside your egg chamber. I close my eyes and extend my mind, making sure everything is ok and that none of the eggs are deformed or have cracks in them. After a few minutes I look back up and lean forward to kiss you on your muzzle while opening my mouth.

** ** "You don't know how glad I am to hear that. I would be so scared without you. I always wondered if I would find a friend like you. But even better you ended up my mate, such a caring and sweet one at that." I nuzzle into your chest, purring with my eyes closed. Removing my head from the comfort of your chest I kiss you, my tongue sliding along yours for a bit before retreating, sending as much love as I can to you at the same time. I knew I would rather die myself then let you get hurt and try everything I could to keep you safe and happy.

** **"And I would protect you with every ounce of power I have." I reply, holding you close while feeling you purr. I respond equally, giving off a small purr of my own while turning around to sit up against you. With my back up to your chest, I wrap my right arm around your neck, bringing you forward in a tight hug. After a while I release you and relax, enjoying the warmth you are giving off. I then look down to my left to place my left hand lightly on your abdomen that is swollen with eggs, rubbing it in circles soothingly. "Do you want me to sing another song?" I ask, turning my head to look at your mesmerizing light blue eyes.

** ** I give you a hug back as best as I can, purring loudly to you and nuzzling. "I would love another song." I smile as you rub my abdomen, making my tail sway quite fast. "Such a strange feeling to have these eggs in me." I say, finding it hard to stay comfortable.

** **"I bet it is." I reply, continuing to run your scales for a few seconds before placing my hands on my lap and close my eyes. I go into my mind and grab my energy, materializing an acoustic guitar in my hands. I smile, bringing my right hand to place it on your shoulder near your wing joint, rubbing the scales there carefully.

** ** I listen to the song quietly, my tail doing very much the same thing as your foot, tapping to the beat of the song, helping me to pass the time. When I splash into the water I use some of my energy to propel me further down before twisting again to angle upwards. I close my eyes and bring my hands up to wrap around your neck, trailing them down to caress your scales, rubbing gently over your wing joints while I hold onto you.

When you do come to a stop in front of me, your tail wagging up a storm, I laugh, staring at your comedic nature. "Well, somebody has been hit with the energy bug today. If I must guess your dual climax earlier gave you energy instead of draining it." I say, giving a sigh before walking past you to stop before the lakeshore.

I stare at the waterfall for a while as you look back at me, wondering what I am doing. I lift my left foot and place it down again, closing my eyes briefly before turning to face you. "OK!" I say, slapping my hands together before rubbing them. "Rheria, I want you to stand over there for me." I instruct, pointing to my right about fifteen feet away. "I am going to be manipulating the water, covering your wings with a dense sheet up to your wing joints which I will then instruct you to flap them steadily for a certain amount of time. This will cause resistance so you will have to work harder to flap, Ok?" I explain, letting you know across our bond that I will be very careful not to injure your wings.

** ** I almost exclusively wiggle my way to where you tell me to stand, raising my wings for you with my tail raised in my excitement and my ears perked wide up, looking like I'm on some kind of drug. "Ok! So just flap my wings when you tell me, that's easy enough! Anything to help me get closer to learning to fly even if it hurts my wings later." I stare intently at you suddenly going still and getting an unusually serious face on myself as I am ready.

** ** I nod my head in appreciation, letting my arms fall to my sides. "It might take some time because I am still learning how to do this myself. If I can't concentrate long enough, then I have a few other ideas on how I can help you." I explain, turning around again to face the lake and begin to drown out the loud rumble of the waterfall. I close my eyes, slowing my breathing as I focus on what I want to do as I tilt my head down. I relax all the muscles in my body, first my feet, then my legs, torso, chest, arms, hands, neck and head. I calmly place my right hand palm on the white energy sphere within my mind, feeling it flow through me freely, ready to do what I want.

I take a few more minutes to focus, swaying my hands and body from side to side, leaning on the soles of my feet, mimicking the movement of water. Once my energy has been evenly distrusted around my arms, I raise my head and open my eyes. I start by sliding my left foot back, raising my right arm with my fingers in a downwards cone before splaying them wide. With my left arm I do the same, then I meld the motion together, leaning onto my right knee while moving my right hand like an orchestra conductor on a slow piece of music. With gathering momentum I slide my left leg forward, stretching my arms out in opposite directions like an ice skater.

The water gradually begins to follow my movements as I roll, lean, twist and duck in a series of complicated moves, always keeping my mind focused and clear of distractions. I use the energy within my arms to guide the water like I guide my energy as the water leaps up. After some time I move my left leg just behind my right, raising my right arm slowly as the water rises in about a foot in diameter like tentacle while pulling my left arm against my side with my hand in a fist. Breathing out slowly through my mouth, I lean forward, sliding right foot across the grass to face you, extending both my arms and move them from left to right, one above the other with palms out.

The water follows my movements, the single tentacle moving over ground to head towards you. I only have enough time to give a flick of reassuring emotion to you before the tentacle engulfs your wings. Like a splash of water, it wraps snuggly around your fragile appendage, traveling down to your wing joint before a thin stream crosses over your back to do the same thing to your other wing. My breathing increases slightly as I control the movement of the water with careful precision, guiding it to wrap around both your wings in about half a foot of water each. Letting out a slow breathe, I let the trail of water to the lake fall, both your wings now encompassed in a dense sheet of water, making holding them up a little tougher. With my left foot forward, left arm out and right arm loosely by my side; I am now able to talk. "How...do you feel...Rheria?" I say, slightly out of breathe.

** ** I watch you with great curiosity, staying as still as I can to help you while you work, not wanting to make it difficult. I feel the water run along my wings, wrapping around them, making both harder to hold up. When it finishes I look at them in wonder, giving them a small flap to feel how they are. It feels much harder to lift them but that how I knew it was supposed to be. "It feels ok. Are you ok? You seem tired...?"
