Chapter 4
Zaniu stepped into the bar and went straight up to the bartender. He was a red head, his hair was neatly spiked up in the front, his eyes were a deep green like that of an emerald, he was tall, six-five at least, and he was a Lazorain, even better for her. Zaniu smiled at him, flashing her fangs. "Hey there sexy stranger." She batted her eyelashes and pointed to a picture of Violet on the wall. "Is that your mate?" Jerath knew immediately something about this Lazorain was off. All Lazorains knew that Violet and him were mates. After his first mate was taken from him by the Mekosians. He smiled at her and played along anyway. "Why, yes it is. Isn't she beautiful?" "Indeed she is, she looks stunning." She winked at him. "By the way I'm Zaniu." Something was definitely not right about this chick. Jerath forced a smile. "I'm Jerath, pleasure to meet you. Hey you know it's funny, but I've never seen you around before, and my mate, She is General of the army. How we don't know you boggles me." Jerath quickly reached out to Violet mentally. "Violet, there is a strange Lazorain out here, mind coming to check her out?" Violet instantly appeared in the doorway. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the woman flirting with Jerath. "Zaniu, long time." Violet's tone was not a friendly one. "Indeed it has been a long time, but now I"m back, I'm ready to serve Lazora once more." Her smile seemed honest. "We thought you were dead, you've been gone three years." Violet's voice held suspicion. "Yes well, I was searching for my mate." She grinned. "And I found one, he should be here any minute." "That's nice." Jerath grunted and rolled his eyes. "Anyways I need to run my bar, I'll let you two catch up." Jerath moved up to the stage and began announcing an act. Violet growled. "I know what you are, I can't prove it at the moment, but I know. One wrong move Mekosian and I will eat you up." Zaniu laughed. "Do you really think that I am one? Honestly Vi, they are a myth." Violet sneered. "Just as much a myth as a kage, and yet here I stand before you." She smiled sweetly and then spread out her velvet wings. "I will kill you Mekosian, but not tonight. Tonight I watch my friend dance. If you even think about screwing this up. I'll kill you right now." "No worries here General. I am not the undead, so I will pleasantly watch." Zaniu smiled and it almost looked real. Violet hissed and brought her wings back in close. "Then enjoy the show traitor." She then walked off toward the stage and left the most dangerous creature in the bar alone.
Leniu woke up in a very unfamiliar room. The bed she lay on was not her own. At least she was alone. "Ah, welcome back Leniu. How do you feel?" Damien's voice was a purr along her skin, it licked small flames from her toes to her throat. She immediately sat up and looked around, she found him in his usual corner leaning on the wall. She sighed with relief. "Don't do that! you scared me you creep." "My apologies my dear, now how are you feeling?" "Better, much so. It's amazing how much one or two feedings can do." That's right she had fed on Mauller, her blood wasn't as strong, but it definitely helped. A vague hint of flavor hit her tongue, she had fed again, she vaguely remembered coming to Damian, but that was it. "I am very glad that your health is improving. I am send you a gift tomorrow night and I really hope that you enjoy it." He smiled at her. It was a thoughtful, maybe even plotting smile. "I do thank you for your kindness Damien, but I must be going." She looked to the door and was sure Damien didn't want her to go. Instead Damien gave a graceful bow. "As you wish M'lady, your horse will be waiting for you." "Thanks Damien." She left him with a goodbye kiss on the cheek. "May the gods have mercy on us all."
It certainly was a rough ride back to her castle. Leniu grunted as she dismounted from her black gelding. She handed the beautiful beast off to one of the servants and made her way to the castle. 'I sure hope Malo is asleep when I get there.' She muttered as she opened the chamber door, to her surprise he was up and glaring in her direction. Oh boy. "Just where have you been, wife? You smell of another man. What did you do with him?" His eyes were dark with anger as he sniffed the air. "I did nothing with him husband, I simply sat on his bed and talked, and what of you my accusing hypocrite mate, you smell of were-wolf females. Yet, I was going to say nothing." She stood tall, shoulders back, her chin high in defiance. Malovane laughed. "Look at you, you are a skeleton and yet you think you can look intimidating? You are weak my love, mentally and physically. Get yourself some help. You definitely need it." Leniu was shaking now, her body trembled with anger, or was it sadness? She didn't know, but she had to get out of there, and what better way to prove she was not weak then to go kill the undead. "Malovane, former mate of mine, you condemn me to a life of bleakness and destruction." Her voice was quiet as she tried to repress a sob. "Sugar, I didn't mean I was leaving you. I just want you to get better is all." He reached out to touch her cheek gently, but the look in her eyes told him he best not or he may lose a hand. "Len?" "Stay here. I will find elsewhere to live." Her voice came out as a snarl as if she were ready to change to her dragon form. "Fine!" Malovane snarled back. "Leave then!" His heart ached at the words. "Do whatever it takes to get well Leniu, then come back to me." He left the last words out, but mentally said them. Leniu only glared at him, then disappeared in the way of her people.
** Chapter 5**
Violet hissed at Malovane disgusted. "How could you! She hasn't returned in a week and she continuously block me out mentally. If she wasn't shielding so much I wouldn't even know she was alive. You arrogant asshole!" Malovane sat quiet and took the verbal beating. He knew that this was going to be hard on the Lazorains, Leniu ran pretty much everything. She assigned hunting parties, expeditions, she set up dances and entertainment in the castle. If it wasn't for Jerath's bar they'd be in big trouble. Lazorains without mates tend to get bored easily and then cause havoc. "Aren't you going to say anything? I mean damn the gods if you ever hurt her again I will honestly rip out your throat myself, then I'll take out the rest of your species!" Violet hissed, her voice laced with thick venom. "Violet!" Jerath's voice cut in. "Enough my vengeful kitten. Things will settle down soon enough. Malovane can handle it." His last sentence held compulsion. Violet glanced at him then at Malovane. "He better and you Jerath had best not use your wiles on me again or I"m going to make you hurt." Malovane tuned the two of them out and had been watching a human play on the stage, it was most amusing, however he was not in a laughing type of mood. Even Violet and Jerath's conversation was hilarious, but it wasn't enough to make him laugh, his heart hurt and he had a horrible feeling in his gut. Where had his wife disappeared to? He'd even called Damien to see if she was at his place, she was not, so who was she feeding from? Definitely not a human their blood was not strong enough. He roared frustrated, loud enough to have everyone turn to look at him. Malovane began to look around the room, maybe she was hiding somewhere near by. His gaze paused on a tall dark headed female. He wondered who she was. She was like a combination of Leniu and Violet and damn was she sexy. Leniu and Violet in one bundle, that was one hell of a woman. Violet hissed as she realized where Malo's gaze had fallen. "Do not even think about it. That woman is trouble, she is not what she seems, I can sense it. She is a creature that killed hundreds of your people." Malo was only half listening as the female he was gazing at acknowledged him. She'd given him a sweet smile, similar to that of Leniu's their first couple of years together. However the word Mekosian did click to him. "Are you positive?" Malovane could feel the anger for his people building. "I am ninety-nine percent sure, she feels different to me, all Lazorains have shared blood with me, this way I can easily communicate with them through out battle. Her and I no longer share a path, which indicates, she is no longer living. Yet, there she is." "Are not Mekosians rotting manifestations?" Malovane was giving Violet his full attention now. "Not if she's recently fed no. She'll seem just as normal as me. Feeding on the flesh of others regenerates their bodies." Violet sneered as she finished her explanation. "I'm sure you know, I'm called Dark One, I crave flesh, but do not need it as they do." Malovane pointed to center stage where Mauller was performing a strip type dance. "And Mauller? She is Kage too?" "Fortunately for her she didn't get that side affect. She mentally ages a lot slower... Mauller is around 30 years old, but her mind is maybe fifteen at best." Violet's voice carried heavy regret. She wanted to explain herself, but pride wouldn't let her. Instead she let out a snarl. "If I ever catch her away from this bar I'll kill Zaniu, that's the problem though, I only see her here, somehow I never see her leave." "Well, you did say she was a Lazorain at one point right? Could be possible she is able to disappear." Malovane was closely eyeing the Mekosian now and noticed a cloaked figure in the corner near her. "Only the most powerful Lazorains are able to phase or as you say teleport, and she wasn't that powerful when she was alive. So, she never leaned how to do it." Violet noticed Malo's new focus. "What is so interesting?" Malovane growled and nodded toward Zaniu. "Do you see the cloaked man with gray eyes in the corner there?" Violet turned her focus and senses to mentioned corner. She could not see the person as well as Malovane had, but she could definitely tell the person was not breathing. "Shall we say hello?" Violet grinned, she loved a fight. "Of course we will have to find a way out of our bar, otherwise Jer, will be pissed." Violet blue her mate a kiss and looked, somewhat sadly at Malovane. 'It's too bad Len isn't here to have some fun as well.' She thought as she approached the enemy.
Feathered wings beat furiously against the cool night air as a white dragon tried to maneuver her way through a vicious storm. The dragon roared her frustration to the sky as she descended to the ground, landing roughly in a small wooded area. She was angry even her dragon form could not withstand the terrible storm brewing in the sky. She must be near Malovane's original home. He had told her that their people had a constant storm going since the Mekosian attack to keep intruders out. She definitely did not want to continue that way. Most of the warriors didn't come back when they came to confront her people. It wasn't because they were dead, it was because they had found mates with members of her race. However curiosity ate at her, she began to wonder, did Malo have a wife and child around here somewhere? The thought made her very ill, almost to the point of fainting. She shook her large head, her mane flying this way and that. With all the noise that the storm was making she did not hear the arrow that was speeding toward her flank. The pain shot up her thigh to her side and then to her brain. 'Poison!' She quickly grabbed the arrow with her teeth and pulled. The arrow had caused a gaping wound, it would heal quickly, however she needed to expel the poison as quickly as possible. She quickly thought of the poison being sweat out through her skin and imagined clean blood flowing through her body. Just like magic green droplets began to form and stick to her fur. In this area it was best to appear to be a dragon , as her normal form may be mistaken for a Mekosian, which would be very bad. Once sure that there were no more arrows coming she called out. "Who is there?" Her voice was a growl, but still resembled that of her normal form. "I thought you were no ordinary dragon, my shouts were right. No dragons around here are feathered, nor do they have fur." The voice was male and seemed to echo through the trees. "So then, my question comes to you, what are you?" Leniu hissed at the voice and the fact that she could not see very well in this weather. "I am as I appear to be, now you appear before me." "Fair enough." The voice replied before a man dropped down from the trees. "I am Lucian." He grinned. "And you are?" "Leniu." she snarled at him and moved to striking position. Lucian immediately froze. "Princess, what are you doing out here? Where is your mate? We must get you back. The sudden shock of being called princess here, sent Leniu back into her normal form. She was exhausted after her bones and muscles reshaped, all she could do was curl up into a fetal position and shake. She was so very cold and very tired. "No worries, your majesty. I will take you some place safe." Lucian gently picked Leniu up and noticed her frail condition. "You are unwell." He murmured. She nuzzled up against him, he was so warm, and he was male. That last though shocked her in some way. Why did it matter that he was male? "I shall make you better, princess." He whispered it to her and took off into the direction of the storm.
Chapter 6
"Zaniu, glad to see you are back in our bar again. You are still looking well. Though I no longer feel you on the pathway, might you wish to re-oath soon?" Malovane tensed beside Violet, did she really trust a Mekosian to feed from her? The idea made him mentally cringe. "Anytime you are free will be good. So long as my mate may join us to." Zaniu smiled sweetly then looked back at the cloaked male. "Sure, your mate is welcome, but I do have a question..." Violet half expected Zaniu to refuse to answer. "What race is your mate?" "He is a gargoyle." She stated it flatly then frowned. "I uh, I've been slowly converting him as we should." Violet was shocked, but knew that gargoyles were very rare. She also knew that a gargoyle could closely resemble a Mekosian. "I would ask him to take off the cloak, but I am unsure of the type of gargoyle he is. I would hate to scare the crowd." Violet smirked. Zaniu looked slightly angry and the figure with her moved irritably beneath the cloak. Zaniu spoke up though angry, her voice was still sweet. "So let us get this bathing done right now then." "Alright." Violet tried not to grin, her plan to get them out was working. "Shall we step outside then?" She looked at Malovane, who was perfectly neutral. Zaniu smiled and got up from her seat, "Might I have a few minutes to talk to my mate?" "No, I really don't have the time. I have to start searching for Leniu in twenty minutes. The ritual can sometime take that long. "Violet gave a very impatient sigh." "Alright then. You say the princess is missing? How unfortunate." Zaniu's efforts to sound sincere was countered by her smile. Malovane was doing his best to control his anger. This creature Zaniu was fake in every way. He wondered if he touched her if that nice mask of hers would crumble. Zaniu must have felt the emotions coming from him. "What is with your buddy there Vi?" They were almost to the door. "That's Leniu's mate, he is very upset at the moment about her disappearance." Violet glared at Malo as if saying best cool down. "Yes, I am very angry with the fact my wife left." He was growling and walked through the door. "Zaniu, sorry, but Malo doesn't believe in ladies first." Violet grinned. "Are you two." Zaniu's laughter was fake and she seemed to be annoyed with trying to play it nice, but once they were out the door, no one was going to be nice at all. Zaniu whispered something to her mate before they made their way to the exit. Violet was watching them very closely. If they phased this time she would see it. They walked out and Malovane met them on the other side. There was no way Violet was giving them a chance to disappear again. "Over by the bench?" Zaniu asked smiling innocently. "Sure." Violet nodded at Malo. Malovane growled to himself, he was ready for action. He really didn't want to follow Violet's plan. Hell, he was a general himself and as mate to their princess he was higher ranking then Violet. Seeing the cloaked man walking behind him, Malovane stopped. "How rude of me guests first." Violet bit her tongue, he was going to screw this up. She quickly caught up to Zaniu. "So, do you know how long you've been from the army? Two years at least since I've been able to reach your mind." Violet stopped directly in front of all of them. "Zaniu the only time the connection is lost is when you are dead!" About that time Malovane had grabbed the cloak from the man and ripped it off. The smell that came out was enough to gag anyone. "Daion!" Zaniu yelled trying to maneuver around Violet. Daion smirked. He hadn't been feeding at all. He had a gaping hole in his right cheek, the flesh from his neck was deteriorating, his eyes were sunken in, his fangs showed through his lips as if no flesh remained over the gums. "Fools!" Malovane hissed as he looked at Daion. "You! You are the one that came with the vampires, you killed my people! You killed my wife!" Violet froze, how was that possible? Malovane was a true mate, he wasn't suppose to feel anything for another woman. If Leniu found out she would be devastated. Daion grinned. "Ah, the little red head was your wife?" He laughed. "Oh so sorry, she was a pretty little thing and so full of life. She kept me together for a good three days." Malovane roared and lunged at Daion. He hoped that Violet would keep Zaniu busy long enough for him to destroy the beast. "Get him Malo fit it for Len, your current love, do it for your people and your dead wife." Violet charged forward at Zaniu, with lightening speed. Malo nodded, withdrawing his sword. "Do not think of escaping!" Malo snarled as he brought his sword down across Daion's chest. "No need to." Daion checked easily stepping out of the way. He then retaliated with a swipe of his clawed hand. "Nifty trick being stuck between dragon and normal form." Malo hissed and parried with his sword, then spinning around to swing once more. This time Malo's sword made contact with Daion's arm. The sword didn't cut through, it stopped immediately. Malo narrowed his eyes at the enemy. Just how did you kill something already dead? Was it even possible? Malo didn't know, but he had to try. It was easy enough to kill rogue vampires, but Mekosians defied the laws of nature even more. Violet cursed as Zaniu slipped through her grasp once more. She realized that Malovane did not know the magic used to kill Mekosians. Magic was the only way and it involved getting really close to cast the spell. As Violet tried to maneuver closer to Daion, she Realized that was a big mistake. Malovane growled as he sliced at Daion over and over, and was unable to prevail. 'Why is Violet moving closer?' it was with that thought that Zaniu grabbed Daion's clawed arm and they vanished. "Bumsen!" Malovane and Violet both cursed in unison. Violet sighed exasperated. "Great that went well." Malovane groaned and placed a hand on his forehead. "Now what?" "Now we wait." Violet grinned. "No worries they will be back... I am curious though." Malo stiffened ready to make a come back. Violet always did get on his nerves. "What are you so damn curious about?" "They would show up every night at the bar and when you would leave, so would they. I think they've been trailing you back to the castle." Violet looked thoughtful and began walking back toward the door to Purple Lightening. "What would they gain by doing that? I mean Zaniu would already have known where it was at." "Damn they have been trailing me almost every night? I knew I had heard something and I sensed it too. Just never caught anyone." Malo cursed heavily as he followed behind Violet. "They are trying to find an unguarded entrance, perhaps? I'm really not sure, but something isn't right." "Maybe, it's really a mystery at this point. I hope we don't have to find out." Violet huffed. Jerath met them at the door, he quickly looked Violet over then nodded to Malovane. "Got away, eh?" "Yes they did." Malo growled. 'Jer we need to convert him or something. He is not good to our people if he can't use our magic.' Violet spoke to Jerath through their direct mental path. "Ah always next time brother." Jerath patted Malo on the back and gave him a grin. 'We could always slip a little into one of his drinks.' He shot back to his wife. Malovane could tell that Violet and Jerath were communicating silently with each other, he was always aware of it when other people psychically communed. The air seemed to buzz around them. What they were saying he had no idea. Finally, Jerath turned to him. "So Malo, how bout a drink?" He smiled genuinely. "After the past week I've had Jer, I could use one." Malo sighed heavily. 'Easy as pie.' Violet grinned once again communicating with only her mate. 'I know, I'm good.' Jerath patted Malo on the back once more. "Shall we?" "Let's go I want this nightmare to be over." Malo said turning in the direction of the liquor counter. "Soon enough my friend, soon enough." Jerath replied following Malo's gaze. "I will leave you two boys alone. It's my night on sate." Violet grinned proudly and made her way through the employees only door.
** Chapter 7**
Leniu groaned as she felt hands poking and prodding her. She just wanted to sleep. She hadn't felt so full or so tired in her lifetime. "Sleep." She growled the word in her dragon's voice. "Hey, lady why won't you wake up!" A child's voice called. Leniu's eyes popped open, that was a child's voice where the hell was she? Her thoughts went back to the forest outside Drelfaria. She quickly looked around, the child was sitting on the floor next to the bed she lay on. What the hell, there on the floor was a Lazorain male, child! "How is this?" The child looked up at her and smiled. "Yay! Lady is awake!" He clapped excitedly and laughed. "We thought you were not going to wake up! You were sleeping for a long time!" "I was?" Panic started to creep it's way through her. She then heard laughter, it was familiar, very soft feminine. "Kaine, please do not torment the princess." "Princess? Whoa!" The child go more excited. "Kyra?" Leniu asked looking to the doorway. Sure enough a long lost friend stood there looking at her. "Guess now we are even, I was very worried when my oldest song brought you here." "Yeah, about that... How is it you have male children?" "We aren't sure." Kyra looked slightly confused. Leniu smiled the woman still looked the same as she had twenty years ago. She looked a lot like Lazora herself. "Wait, you have a mate then?" Kyra visibly tensed up at the question, as if uncomfortable she looked to the floor. "Yes, of course, however I never converted him. He is a Drelf." She smiled. "I have heard many others have also found Drelf mates, including you." She seemed happy, her tail saying back and forth. "It's a pleasure to have you here." "I need to return soon, my mate and I, we had a fight, I've been gone for almost a week, maybe two. Though... I do feel I need to recover a bit longer." Leniu signed tiredly. "No problem Leniu, glad to help. Oh! Lucian wanted to talk with you when you woke up." She must have mentally told Lucian to come in, because by the time she had finished, there he was in the door way, looking magnificent. Leniu gaped at him, he was naked, except fora loin cloth. His chest was well defined and had a V shape down to his torso. His waist was small, but ripped with a six pack, her eyes trailed lower still and she gasped. Kyra laughed. "First time he's saw his own species other then his mother. The boy is allowed to get excited. "She winked and left Leniu and Lucian alone. "Come along now Kaine, leave them alone." The child wagged his tail and then trotted off after his mother. Lucian blushed. "I uh, I am sorry about this." He quickly covered himself up. "You are uh, looking a lot better today. Your cheeks are starting to fill out." Leniu blushed. "Who fed me?" The thought of Lucian feeding her was erotic and at the same time heartbreaking. She didn't want to feed on anyone but her mate. "Mom did, she said it would have been disrespectful had I done it. Lucian blushed again. "Although I did really want to feed you." Leniu felt heat spread through her body. 'Why now?' She thought of all the times why would a gorgeous male Lazorain be naked in front of me?' Temptation was weighing heavily on her. "I would really like it if you stayed longer Leniu, princess." He got onto the bed next to her and leaned his torso across hers. Their skin was almost touching. "Leniu, please stay longer." She recognized it, whether Lucian knew it or not, he was using the magic in his voice. "Lucian, how did you know that was me in the forest?" She watched his eyes flicker to her hair, then to her wings. "You are the only dragon with purple hair and feathers that is known of." His eyes were beginning to haze over with desire. "I see, and Lucian why did you shoot me?" She sounded overly suspicious. "Because I couldn't tell you had feathers until I dropped down from the tree." He blushed. "And as big as your form is, I assumed you were feral." "No worries." Leniu felt her skin grow hot, her breath began to quicken. "Lucian, I am not the only female Lazorain you know?" "I know." He whispered, the words and moved in close. His lips were centimeters from hers. "Leniu can I taste you?" 'Oh gods,' What was she to do, almost on top of her a very sexy male Lazorain wanted her and back home a mate who no longer was attracted to her. Her mind quickly ran over the possibilities. Her tail twitched with her curiosity, there certainly was no spark that she felt when she met Malovane, but her body was certainly responding to him in a way that was unexplainable. She sighed. "Yes, Lucian. You may taste me, but where?" He blushed and first pointed to her wrist, then went to point to her neck, but hesitated. "Where else Lucian?" She grabbed his wrist and held his gaze with hers. "Where else?" Lucian swallowed hard. "Can I taste you anywhere?" When Leniu nodded he traced the line of her neck down to the V of her breasts. He continued to lightly trace down to her stomach and lower to her pantyliner then stopped. "This is disrespectful isn't it?" Leniu thought for a moment, there was a fine line for that right now since Malovane and her were in a rough spot. "Yes, and no. As long as we don't go to far it's no worse then what my mate has done to me." Lucian looked lost for a moment. "Your mate does not properly care for you princess. I will act in his stead." With that Lucian brought their wrists to his mouth, when he went to bite into his own she shook her head." "I can't feed from you, not yet maybe someday. Fo now just enjoy me." Her voice was seductive and she could tell that he enjoyed it. She felt his manhood jump against her thigh, causing her skin to grow hotter. "Do you like the way I look Lucian?" "Yesss." He hissed the word out as he leaned down to nuzzle her neck. "Do you like what you feel?" He asked before lightly scraping her with his fangs. She moaned in response, normally to have another man touch her like this, she would have felt ill. However with Lucian she did not. "Yes, this feels good." A very naughty thought slipped into her mind. Lucian was a Lazorain, which meant that he had a dragon form, the idea of mating as dragons was very appealing, very erotic. "Lucian, are you able to control your transformations yet?" Lucian paused for a moment. "I believe I could for you, your majesty. I've been told that you are able to help pull the dragon from me. My mother said you saved her once by doing so." "Yes, but it can be painful for a few minutes afterwards. I'd rather..." Lucian interrupted her before she could finish. "If I can't do it, would you help me?" "Yes." She closed her eyes and tried to slow her breathing, was she really going to do this? Was she going to betray her real mate? Wait, Lucian actually gave of signals that he could be a mate. She was very confused, but her body knew what it wanted, and it wanted to mate now. Her safest bet would be able to stay with the dragon idea. Lazorains could only conceive in normal form. The gods must have some really weird plans for her. "Let us go outside princess, so there is room for you." He blushed. "I must warn you though, my dragon is not quite as big as yours." As he got up, he blushed even more. "But judging the size of my manhood now, I think I am perfectly capable of filling you up." Leniu gasped as her eyes drifted to his groin, the boy certainly was well endowed. She swallowed hard and brought her gaze back up to his face. "And where did you learn to talk this way, if I'm the only female, besides Kyra, that you've met?" "I, well, I read Mom's romance novels. My mother even wrote a few herself." Leniu giggled, Lucian was so shy it was hard to believe she was going to let him mate with her, just this once, just to cool her body's hunger. This hunger was also unknown to her, she would have to ask her mother about it later. For now all she wanted was Lucian deeply inside her. "Please Leniu, follow me. We will go out to the courtyard." Lucian put his hand out to help her off the bed. "You might feel a slight nausea when you first get up, let me help." Leniu nodded and put her hand in his, the contact caused flames to link and jump along her skin. She gasped, almost wanting to pull her hand away, though she didn't, the nausea hit quickly as she began to stand up. Lucian gave her a reassuring look. "You have been fed a lot this past week, your body is still adjusting." Week? About that time her feet hit the floor, her stomach rolled, though quickly receded. "I've been out for a week?" "Unfortunately yes." He pulled her in close. "But, we will talk about that later." Leniu nodded as she looked up into his eyes. They were unlike anything she had ever seen. They were blue, yet star shaped with green. Almost similar to Malo's. "You are only half Lazorain." She mused the words aloud. "Yes, whomever I choose to mate will fully convert me. My father is a Drelf. If you decide to return to the general Malovane, when we are done, don't convert him till after you've had a son." Leniu blinked confused. "How do you..." Lucian one again cut her off. "Later, come." Leniu pondered how he'd gone from shy boy to needy man so quickly. He began to tug on her arm. "Just this way." He murmured. As Leniu stepped through a door she felt heat spreading through her body once more. The heat seemed to build into a small pool in her abdomen waiting to be released, thankfully they were already in the courtyard. She gazed around the area, not much different then her own courtyard in size. She jerked her head around to Lucian as she heard the popping and reshaping of bones. He was already transforming. Leniu began to change herself, her body was sore, but would make it with little effort. Her skin gave way to white soft fur fast enough, her face elongated and rounded into a snout, her arms lengthened and popped as she reshaped to her feral form, the limbs quickly producing long elegant feathers. Her stomach formed glittering bright blue scales, before lengthening. She was quickly moving into her thirty foot tall dragon form. She was even done before Lucian was. Lucian raised his head skyward and roared, he didn't understand why, but for some reason he felt he needed to do it. His cock was painfully hard and he needed release. He had no idea what he was doing, but he hoped the reading of his mothers books would pay off. He was going to court her with some foreplay first. Leniu was slightly concerned as she noticed Lucian hesitating. What was wrong? Was she still sickly looking? She let out a sigh of relief however as he began to trot a circle around her. Ah yes, he was courting and boy was he gorgeous. Not many dragon forms were one solid color, but he was. He was completely black, mane, tail, wings and all. He looked like he would feel like the softest satin. Lucian painfully kept his cock sheathed inside his body, it was rude to have it out while performing the dance. As he came back around to her head he stopped directly in front of her and inclined his neck. If she accepted then she would nuzzle his neck with her snout, if she didn't she would bite him. He waited patiently, confidently. 'Wow." Leniu thought giggling to herself. He had been reading too many books. She sighed and nuzzled him. 'Oh, lets see what happens next?' When Lucian looked up to the sky she nuzzled him again. If he wanted to mate while flying that was perfectly fine with her. Lucian couldn't help, but sense the intoxicating aroma that was coming off from Leniu. None of the books had ever mentioned the smell of vanilla and cinnamon, but it excited him that much more. Following his decision they took to the sky. "In front of the moon." He growled. "I want to cast a shadow of us." The idea seemed so erotic that Leniu could not refuse. She quickly took to the air in front of him flying to the center of the night sky and stopping. "Here?" She hissed. Flying back to inspect, Lucian nodded his head and flew toward her. "You will have to keep us in the air, since you have the bigger wing span and size." The first part of mating in the air was yet another dance. Diving down toward the ground and pulling up at the last second, back to the altitude they started at. Leniu felt like a teenager again, she had practiced this very often back then, dreaming one day it would happen. She laughed joyfully as she plummeted toward rocks, spiraling her way down. Finally after their fifth swoop they stopped once more before the bright light of the moon. Lucian winced slightly as he felt her claws dig into his scaled back, She was preparing to hold them both in the sky by herself, since he would have his back to the ground. Lucian followed her lead now and grabbed ahold of her fur above her thighs with his claws. "Are you ready?" His voice sounded shy, nervous again, even though it came out in a growl. "Not yet, you need a firmer hold on me. Wrap your tail around my belly." She noticed as she started to position herself for penetration that he was still sheathed. "Are you nervous?" She grinned her snout full of teeth. Lucian chuckled. "A little." He gasped as he felt her tail secure more tightly against him. This also caused him to lose control of his member. It took no time at all for the full length of him to press along her belly. He heard her purr or was that a growl? He was unsure, but the look in her eyes said she wasn't waiting any longer. He quickly took his tail and helped position his very large cock at her entrance. Leniu could only feel the very large tip at her female sex, but she knew without seeing that he was probably among the largest endowed males alive. She let out a loud purr of satisfaction. "Don't wait." She growled. With that as his cue Lucian tightened his grip with his back claws and surged forward. She took him, but not all of him, he winced as his manhood bumped the back of her channel. Was it suppose to be like that? All the novels he had read talked about completely being engulfed. Leniu roared out, she had not expected him to be so large, it took great concentration to keep them both in the air, the shock of his invasion almost caused her to stop flapping her wings, but it felt so good to be so full. Especially in her dragon form. Lucian was hesitant now, he definitely didn't want to bump so hard again, after all he was so painfully hard as it was. He withdraw slowly and moved back into her tight channel, slower this time, carefully paying attention to where and when he hit the end of her warm velvet folds. Once he had figured that figured out he would pick up the pace. He payed careful attention to her reactions and his own. Oh gods, this felt incredible for Leniu, it had been so long since she had a man and her race naturally had a very large sex drive. IT was almost as devastating not to mate as it was not to feed. She purred low in her throat and nipped at his smoothly scaled neck. Already she felt the growing pressure in her lower belly began to build into a pool, a pool growing heavier by the second. Lucian now felt the immense pleasure, he focused solely on the way her body gripped at his, her muscles seemed to spasm and hold onto him, as if not wanting him to leave her body. Not to mention his first experience was with the princess of his race. Suddenly without warning his body began to tense up all over and tingle. What was this? Before he could stop himself a groan escaped through his snout, he lost all control of his body. His cock was throbbing, no pulsing as some sort of liquid passed from his body to hers. Leniu's purr grew louder, until she felt his body go completely rigid. IT was much harder to keep them in the air now. He had climaxed, how cute. Her own was about to hit her as well. However he had stopped. She chuckled and wrapped her large tail tighter around him allowing her to ride him. Lucian gasped as Leniu forced herself on him over and over. If she orgasmed as hard as he did, they would fall. Reading his expression, Leniu meant to reassure him. "No worries." She snorted out between fast breaths. She was very close now, she needed to go higher otherwise his thoughts would be right. She began to pump her wings harder gaining air. Before she could reach a comfortable height, her body tensed and her climax hit hard. "Leniu!" Lucian gasped, amazed with the feeling of her walls clamping down on him, grabbing at him. That is until they started to fall. She felt Lucian panic, but she held to him tight. They were sprawling down to the courtyard below. Her body continuing to squeeze and spasm around Lucian's male sex. They were about twenty feet from the ground when she regained control She quickly began to beat her wings hard against the air to at least soften their landing. Lucian released his hold on her and fell turning over so he could land safely. When he felt his large cock leave her warmth he felt regret and he probably would for the rest of his life. He had lain with another man's mate and with a royal of his race. Such acts could be punishable.
Chapter 8
Malovane groaned as a red headed female played with his groin. It felt so good and she reminded him of his late wife. He really didn't have a connection with her like he did Leniu, but she was a great companion. They were more friends then lovers and that is what he liked about her. If only he could achieve that with Leniu. While Leniu was amazing in bed, she was just way too serious and didn't like to have a whole lot of fun. He just wished she would lighten up. He returned his attention from his thoughts back to the red head. "So, you said your name was Star? I presume that is a stage name?" She smiled up at him. "Yes, only the Lazorains go by their normal name on stage. The rest of us prefer to keep it secret." She licked her lips as she stared up and him, gently rubbing her palm against the crotch of his leather pants. "I am also a werewolf so if you would like my dear you can beat me, before you fuck me if you are into that. That thought made Malo cringe, flashes of Leniu beaten and raped by Daion ran through his head. "Absolutely not!" He growled at Star and grabbed her wrist, throwing her away. "You had best remember what Violet told you a few weeks ago wolf. Just because my wife is still missing, does not make me fair game. Leave here at once, and Star if you ever approach me again I will tell Violet." Star gasped, but immediately looked pissed. "You are such a god damn tease Malo! You act like you are interested in me, and yet hone you have me you always refuse me." Malo growled. "But did I ever say Yes I am interested in you Star? No, I didn't, look I have a wife, I am just looking for a friend. Get the hell out!" Star began crying. "Fuck you, Malo, you will regret your decision. I will see to it!" With that she ran from the room and out of the castle. "Just great, just fucking great." Malovane growled and looked around his room. 'Place sure is lonely not that Leniu isn't around.' He sighed and walked over to her vanity mirror. 'Where have you gone wife?' He touched a glyph of them together, human's called them pictures, but they were not taken the same way. 'She looks so beautiful there. Come home wife, I need you.'
Leniu looked at Lucian and sighed. "Lucian I can't stay much longer, I need you to explain something to me. Then I need to get back to my kingdom. I really appreciate all your family's help, especially yours, but I really want to know what is going on?" "You can't wait one more week?" He frowned and got up from the bed they were laying on. "No, I can't, there are things that need to be done Lucian and they aren't. My mom is a horrible queen, I have to do all the work and I"m sure by now things are chaotic. I need to go back." Her eyes said it all, she really did need to get back, but what about his dreams? He could see things that were going to happen and have happened. He knew from the moment he saw her that night, everything that was going to happen for the next few weeks. How was he going to explain this to her. "Leniu, you see there are somethings going on in your kingdom right now that you should not be a part of. Especially not while you were in such a weakened state. You are safe here, when you go back, your kingdom will never be the same. A tragedy will strike your people, it will be very hard on you and you may not recover from it. You are the only hope. So princess, you need to remain safe. Leniu could only gape at hime. What the hell was he talking about? Where was the other Lucian, the shy one. It was almost as if he were two different people sometimes. "So, what tragedy? Who is involved. "I honestly don't know, really I don't. It's not that easy to determine, my dreams are very vague and nothing is what it seems. It is mainly symbols, paintings sometimes. You will pull through it, if you are careful. You can beat them." "Them. You mean Mekosians?" She really needed to return now. Her people needed her. "I believe that is who the rotting tigers are, but I can't be positive. You are often a white tiger and you glow, your glow overcomes the decaying beasts and causes them to flee." As she stared at Lucian she noticed that his eyes were closed. "Lucian." She got up from the bed and walked toward him. "Come back to Lazora with me. You should be able to find a mate there." Lucian cut her off. "Not for many, many years will I have a mate there. I was only glad to experience a woman's body before then. I thank you for that." He blushed. "From experience I have found that being a born male, I can have any mate I want and it will be similar. When I find my true mate however, it will be very intense. Fortunately for me I have seen her in my dreams." He sighed. "I am the first born male Lazorain. I believe I've been given special gifts by the gods. I've been watching my brother, he shows no signs of such an ability." Leniu was awed by him. "Very well then. Is it safe to go back?" She touched his arm lightly, when he didn't answer she added. "Is it dangerous?" "As I said, nothing is very clear." He grabbed her and brought her close. I am sorry for this princess, are you sure you wish to go back?" He was now looking her straight in the eyes. "Yes, but why are you..." Before she could ask why he was sorry he bared his fangs and sank deep into her throat. He was drinking her down hungrily. He was going to kill her, but for some reason, it didn't matter and that is what bothered her most. As she began to black out she noticed that his embrace was more gentle, then everything went blank.
Chapter 9
A scream awoke Violet from her sleep, she hissed angrily and began to mentally reach down her links to all Lazorains. Her first priority was to reach down Leniu's path as Leniu was her maker. Next she went for Lazora's "Your Majesty? I heard a scream are you alright?" She was already imagining her armor on to get ready for battle. "Lazora!" Damn no answer. 'Jer, get up, NOW! We got problems. Wake the others something isn't right.' Jerath groaned, but did what his wife demanded. He suddenly growled. 'I don't feel her Vi, I don't feel Lazora at all. Faster! You must get to her quick.' 'Fuck! If only I could phase already.' Violet thought of the Queen the whole way there hoping she would make it in time. As she reached the Queen's chamber the sweet smell of cherries invaded her nostrils. 'No, no! I won't believe it.' As she looked to the window she saw a heap of red material and what use to be the Queen of her race. 'Bumsen!, Bumsen!" AS she approached Lazora she noticed something moving under her skirts. 'What the hell?' AS she got closer she heard little mewling noises. 'Oh my gods.' Violet swallowed hard there was no way, no way in hell this child could be alive, and how the hell did no one know the queen was pregnant in the first place? Jerath and twenty other Lazorain's arrived at the scene, finally. "What the hell happened?" A draft of wind blew through the opened window. Jerath gagged at the stench that followed. "Daion..., Where is Malovane?" "Here, I heard her scream, but I was paralyzed somehow. IT was strange, I still feel heavy." Malovane walked into the room, though his movements were jerky and stiff. He looked down to the moving skirts. "What the hell is that!" "Could be a trap my prince don't do it." One of the soldiers yelled. Malovane snorted at her and began inspecting the remains. "What the hell did they do to her? It, it looks like her heart was ripped out then she exploded." Malovane picked up the bottom of Lazora's dress and blinked. "I didn't know Lazorains were born in dragon form..." "What?" Violet hissed and moved in to look. "He must have transformed to protect himself." Something about what she said sounded wrong. "What the hell? This child is a male. "Violet turned to everyone and hissed. "No one speaks of this. No one!" She waited for all Lazorains to salute her in agreement, then turned to Malo. "And you prince?" "Not a word, but please pick it up and take care of it." The small dragon fought his way to Malo's feet. It began to mew at him. Malo noticed the shimmering green scales and the black mane. "How many of you have black hair?" Violet picked up the small dragon and began to pet him. "None, he is not a full Lazorain. I suspect that he is part Drelf or vampire. Definitely can't be human. Our species' body's will immediately kill the sperm of a non compatible race." "Is there a way to turn him back to norm? I mean will he do it himself?" Malo watched as the baby dragon nuzzled Violet's neck and breasts. "And who will feed him?" "Leniu can change him back, when she returns. Feeding him will be easy. We give him to a low profile family, who already has a newborn. Most civilians have children." "I was beginning to wonder if you guys reproduced at all..." Malo admitted. "Now what of Lazora?" Violet sighed and looked at Malovane rather annoyed. "They will prepare her for burial, first draining whatever blood she has left to preserve and pass on to the next queen." Malovane looked confused, then nodded. Jerath shrugged. "It is a very old ritual, they believe that if the blood of the previous queen is drank by the knew one, knowledge and power is passed on." "Do you believe that?" Malovane asked curiously. "I don't know brother, but how about a drink?" Jerath gave Violet a knowing look. "We can talk about it over a drink I mean." "I will take the child to his new parents and wait for you there." Violet kissed Jerath on the lips and the small dragon in her arms growled. "I don't think he likes you much love." She laughed and turned her back to him. "Fair well boys, have a drink on me." Jerath chuckled. "I would love to have more then a drink on you." He grinned blowing her a kiss. "So, Jerath, about that drink. What was that stuff you gave me the other night? It was really sweet, but potent and tasted similar to cherries." Jerath huffed. "We call that Dragon's blood my brother, you will only find it in my bar." Malo felt something was off with Jerath, but he couldn't place it. The guy was always a little crazy, he had to be to put up with Violet. "Good stuff, would love a few rounds of it tonight." "Addicted already eh?" The thought made Jerath uneasy, they needed to take it slow to give him time to adjust to the changes. If not he would mutate and become a Mekosian. "Too much of a good thing can be bad Malo, give it a few more days, then I will let you drink as much as you want for a night. Deal?" "Deal." Malo nodded and clapped Jerath on the shoulder. "I'd pat you on the back if it wasn't for your spines." Jerath laughed. "Try sleeping with them. They both chuckled and continued to the bar. "I definitely need something to forget that scene. I thought I was strange, then I met you Lazorains."
Leniu awoke to a splitting headache and nausea, something was very wrong. She remembered her fight with Malo, but everything after that was really fuzzy. At least she was in her own bed. Unfortunately her thoughts of resting were interrupted. Her sensitive ears picked up something she could not ignore. 'The Queen is slain and Leniu gone, what is to happen to us?' Immediately Leniu sent out a message over the general populations mental link. 'What is this of me being one? I know I am unwell, but I am here. My mother was slain? What is this non-sense?" Her answer was a million Lazorain's trying to tell her at once. Over top of them one voice stood out. She quickly reached down the path to Violet. 'What is going on?' Violet hissed. 'Mekosians found your mother's chamber last night and snuck in to kill her. Len, I have something to show you.' 'Alright where are you?' Leniu was unsure she was ready to travel. Strangely she felt physically strong, but mentally she was a mess. 'I'm in a civilians home, they just had twins and Len, one is boy!' Violet sounded very excited. Leniu felt torn between emotions. She wanted to mourn her mothers death and yet the exciting news that a male child had been born within the city was big news too. Finally she decided mourning could wait. Leniu tried to think of Violet's appearance to phase next to her, but to her surprise she couldn't remember what the woman looked like! 'Hm, I will be there as soon as I can Vi, my head is a little fuzzy. Can't phase.' The harder she tried to focus the more her head hurt. 'It is no wonder you have been gone for several weeks.' Violet spoke flatly and sounded annoyed. Leniu looked out the balcony, she was probably even too ill to fly. Oh yes, that was right she had been riding her horse lately since she was so weak. 'Blah weak', she certainly did not feel weak, nor did her hunger gnaw at her. As she approached her mare, she paused. 'I've been gone for weeks? What do you mean gone?' 'Disappeared, you never returned the tonight you and Malo fought. This is the first time you haven't shielded me out of your thoughts since then.' Violet sounded even more annoyed. 'Just hurry here, the child is stuck in dragon form, he was startled and changed.' 'Poor thing.' Leniu said to the child as well as to herself, she really was in trouble if she couldn't even remember the last couple of weeks. 'Midnight, I'm home.' Lazorains were always really good with horses because somehow they were able to understand. The mare always seemed to know what she meant. "Ready to go?" The horse neighed. "Oh fine, I'll give you a treat when we get back." Leniu quickly took the horse from her stall, mounted and they were off.
