Survival of the Fittest: Year One - Chapter 8: Meet and Greet
Lavender and Nicole are introduced to some of the other new recruits purchased across the Arcean Islands.
“So are those real?" a raspy, feminine voice called across the room.
On the opposite bunk, a pair of ivory-tipped foot paws crossed one another atop a flaccid pillow, the left set of claws itching into the dark fur of the right sole. Short, toned legs extended into shapely hips punctuating a firm ass as it pinned the Weavile's wispy, amaranth tail to the bed. With the tip of the appendage drooping over the edge of the bunk, the femme's torso followed suit, contorting and stretching her smooth abdominal muscles while she allowed her stubby arms and meaty paws to hang loose in the open air. Petite breasts clung to her torso in defiance of gravity, a pair of powder blue nipples standing rigid atop the delicate mounds and matching the hidden slit tucked between the girl's thighs.
The Weavile girl rolled her neck, vertebrae cracking and popping from one side to the other. Tufts of her trimmed magenta hair dangled towards the floor as her narrowed eyes rolled into position, staring upside-down at the newly-arrived Espeon. A hungry smirk crossed her muzzle, highlighting the solitary fang protruding from her maw, and her tongue slipped free, swiping up along her lower lip. She caught the lip between her jaws, nibbling lightly for a moment before repeating the question.
“Well? Are they?"
“Excuse me?" Lavender asked incredulously, blush quickly spreading to her cheeks as an arm reflexively slithered across her bare chest in response to the lewd query.
“Not your tits, obviously," the Weavile scoffed, “I figure if you're gonna get a boob job, you'd make 'em bigger. Nah, I mean those tats you've got. Those're just temporary, right? They wash away? You thought they'd look hot for when you're riding your boyfriend after graduation? I mean, they do, sure. But c'mon…doesn't suit a daddy's girl psychic."
“For your information-"
“And that dye job isn't fooling anyone…not when you're sporting a purple bush."
“Hey!" Lavender snapped at the girl, awkwardly dipping a hand between her legs to cover her crotch, “how about you let me talk before running your mouth? Yeah, I dye my hair. Because I like how it looks. But I sat through four hours of needles jabbing into my body for these tattoos. Each. So don't fucking stereotype me as some pussy psychic-type and I won't assume you're just some flat-chested gutter trash punk."
“Gutter trash? Bitch I could shred you like tissue paper."
“I'd like to see you try. You'd get the shit shocked outta you."
“Oh like I give a fuck about this collar," the Weavile hissed, tugging at the leather strap around her neck, “they burned the battery out on me already."
“Whatever," Lavender spat, “I've got plenty of Dark-type friends, and you're all talk. The second someone with a half a brain steps to you and you back the fuck down. Every time."
“Lavie…" Nicole's timid voice whispered next to her sister.
“Not you Nikki. Obviously. But like, you know Damon and even Toby…it's too easy with them."
“Now who's fucking stereotyping, daddy's girl? 'I have Dark-type friends.' Darkrai fuckin' damn you are such a fucking poser."
“Dani, for fuck's sake," a deep voice ordered as its simian owner clambered off his bunk two spots away from the Weavile, “leave her alone. Aren't things fucked up enough without you pulling your alpha dog act on every single person we meet?"
The Infernape crossed the room with a bounce in his step, bare indigo feet slapping against the floor's studded paneling. His tall, agile frame glided effortlessly with each sweep of his lengthy gait; lean, muscular thighs flexed with each impact, highlighting the male's athletic form as he approached the twins. As he approached, Lavender inspected the Infernape, his warm blue eyes and tidy brown hair accentuated by the smoky scent of bright flames flowing from his scalp.
Her gaze drifted south, exploring his naked body and noting the firm abs and pectorals buried beneath a coat of smooth, pale fur. An imperceptible layer of caramel fur trailed from his shoulders to navy blue paws, and again from his waist to his shins, where the snowy fluff returned. A long, flexible tail extended from the tight muscle of his bare rear, and prominently exposed between his thighs hung a semi-erect brown member, flanked by a pair of healthy testicles. Lavender gulped, the Infernape's confidence on full display in sharp contrast to the shameful erections she'd shared a holding cell with back at the facility. Breath caught in her chest as the organ twitched, stiffening under the scrutiny her blatant stare, but she hastily snapped back to reality as the Infernape cleared his throat.
“Uh, hey," he offered, making no effort to conceal his burgeoning erection, “guess it's been a while for you two, huh?"
“Oh uh, yeah," Lavender stammered, feeling Nicole turn away sharply, her bristling fur trembling against the Espeon, “s-sorry, it's just-"
“Don't sweat it," he chuckled, and gestured at a free spot on the twins' bunk, “mind if I sit?"
“Yeah," Lavender nodded, making a deliberate effort to maintain eye contact, “sure, I mean. Go ahead."
“Cool," he plunked himself down beside the Espeon and leaned back against the wall with fingers laced behind his head, “I'm Travis. Travis Ororo."
“Lavender."
“And…?"
“I'm Nicole," the Umbreon hiccupped, “Nicole Evans. Me and Lavender are twins."
“Twins? Hmm, I guess I can see it. Nice to meet you both," he extended a hand, shaking Lavender's paw before leaning over her and filling her nostrils with his fiery aroma as he offered the same greeting to Nicole, “don't worry about Dani…she's always been a bitch."
“I noticed," Lavender snarked, eyes darting over to the Weavile, who rolled her eyes at the Espeon and mockingly mimed a blowjob.
“Nah, I mean like, we went to NSBA together. She just does shit to troll people. All the time. Only reason she never got expelled was because she was like, top of our class in battle training."
“Really? That little midget?"
“Yeah. Her and a couple other Weaviles would like, train together and you know how in battle you go easy because it's just training? Not so much for her crew. I know dudes who still have scars. And she wasn't even the worst of the bunch."
“That sounds like Tyson," Nicole piped up, biting her lip as she looked away from her sister, “h-he was scary."
“Tyson?" Lavender rubbed her arm awkwardly, choosing her response carefully in front of her new acquaintance, “Tyson was just…aggressive."
“He broke Jimmy's arm!" Nicole winced and ducked her head, whispering, “you got him to break Jimmy's arm."
“For you. Jimmy couldn't keep his hands to himself, so why not put them in a cast?"
“He didn't-"
“And besides, would you rather Tyson just rampage around unchecked? It's like a wildfire. Yeah, it's gonna destroy shit, but if you can control it, at least the damage is minimal."
“But you didn't control him! He picked on Ozzy more than anyone!"
“Well…" Lavender bit her tongue, unwilling to admit her complicity in painting a target on the Ariados' back, and rattled off a quick response, “then he graduated and that shit stopped, right? Me and Damon took over and…we weren't like, bad or anything."
“But…" Nicole trailed off, tugging her knees tightly against her chest as she sealed her muzzle.
“What uh, what about you?" Lavender shifted the attention back to Travis, “what's your deal?"
“Me? My deal?" the Infernape pondered for a moment, attempting to defuse the sudden tension between the twins, “Uh…I stay outta the way, mostly. No reason to get involved in any drama. I had my own stuff going on; just chillin' out after school with some friends, surfing you know um, smoking a little weed. That sort of thing."
“Surfing?"
“Yeah I know, probably not healthy but…it feels great. Makes you feel alive, you know? And it's how I met my girlfriend. One of 'em, anyway."
“One of them?"
“It's uh…it's complicated. It's more of a…a friends with benefits thing. It's uh…not the sort of thing they'd want advertised though, you understand?"
“Got it."
“So…is Damon your boyfriend then?"
“Huh?"
“Damon…you uh, said you two 'took over' so I figured he was your-"
“Oh no. No no no. No. Toby is my boyfriend. Damon is just a friend. My…" she paused, fighting a wicked urge to blurt out 'fuck buddy', “my best friend, but still. I've known Damon since we were kids; he's the reason I wanted to evolve into an Umbreon."
“Uh, question."
“Yeah, I know. That didn't quite work out as planned. That's on Toby. Not that I mind, I guess…it could've been worse."
“So that's why you're all," he waved his hands around her hair and stomach, “like, goth?"
“Not goth; that shit's for Ghost-types. It's just that light purple isn't intimidating at all. No one takes you seriously."
“I think it looks nice."
“I've never wanted to look 'nice.'"
“Well…you know, maybe you should. Life's too short to be all prickly all the time."
“You sound like a fortune cookie. How are you so calm about all of this?"
“Panicking isn't gonna help anything. I mean, I could've tried knocking some people out when they brought me onboard, but unlike certain Weaviles, I'm not a fan of electrocution. So I just, you know, try to stay mellow and relaxed. Makes me feel better, and it made you feel better for a while too, didn't it?"
Until he brought it up, Lavender hadn't even noticed how at ease she felt during their conversation. It was like being at school, dealing with other Pokemorphs her age on an even playing field, rather than spitting at a human enemy. Even during her verbal sparring with Dani, the interactions offered a sense of normalcy that had been missing during her isolation at the facility. She noticed her arms resting on the bunk, no longer guarding her femininity and leaving her as exposed and vulnerable as the Infernape, yet she felt no desire to cover up once more. Travis grinned as the realization crossed her face, shaking her shoulder playfully.
“See? It's not so bad. Just gotta turn off that part of your brain that's always running a mile a minute, worrying about stuff. There'll be plenty of time for that later, I'm sure."
“Yeah…I guess so."
“What about you, Nicole?" he kindly addressed the Umbreon, “you feel like talking?"
“A-About what?"
“About anything. Like…who's Ozzy?"
“My boyfriend…"
“And Jimmy was not your boyfriend then, I'm assuming."
“No!" Nicole barked with a startling display of force, “he was a jerk! He…he told everyone at school that we slept together. And he…he-"
“Got what was coming to him?"
“Y-Yeah! I mean…no. I mean…he just…he left me alone…but Tyson still shouldn't have…hurt him like that…"
“Sounds like your sister was looking out for you."
“She could've looked out for Ozzy too…"
“Why don't you tell me about him?"
Lavender rolled her eyes, suppressing her gag reflex as her sister praised the spindly Ariados using terms like 'cute,' 'funny,' 'amazing' and 'soul mate.' Though the revelation of Nicole's lost virginity had brought the Espeon a temporary sense of pride, the knowledge that Ozzy Wedderby had fucked a carbon copy of herself (give or take a few pounds) morphed all delight for her sister into revulsion. Teasing her notoriously prudish sister about the spider's carnal intentions had served as a subtle reminder that perhaps the boy wasn't quite 'the one' Nicole needed in her life, but her efforts had been in vain. As the Umbreon prattled on about dates and kissing, Lavender excused herself to find a quiet place to vomit. As she rose from the bunk, Lavender found herself almost immediately drawn away from the duo by a dominant claw around her waist.
“So you were the alpha bitch at your school?" Dani smirked, her fingers lightly kneading at the soft flesh of Lavender's hip as she guided the Espeon, “what…did no one else hit puberty or something?"
“Did you?" Lavender sniped, reaching down to pluck away the Weavile's groping paw, “what the fuck do you want, anyway?"
“Well, between Captain Sunshine over there, and the mute brigade," Dani jabbed a thumb towards several of the Pokemorphs Lavender had yet to meet, “I'm going stir crazy. And you seem kinda cool…for a poser. So you can be my second-in-command. Until someone better shows up."
“I'm honored," Lavender scoffed, “how the hell were you at the top of your class? You're like a gnat. A tiny, little gnat."
“Alright first of all, you're not that much taller than me. Second of all, size means jack shit when you're fast. Check it."
A jolt ran up Lavender's spine as two claws pinches at the smooth fur of her ass, eliciting a yelp. As she rounded on the Weavile, Dani juked to the side, repeating the process on the other cheek and snickering as the flustered Espeon futilely cradled her firm rump. A swift tweak of the girl's exposed pink teat shot both hands up again to protect her tender nipples, allowing Dani full access to her flank once more. The Weavile darted back and forth, teasing and tugging at her prey as a symphony of yips and mewling laughter reached her ears. She only ceased when the Espeon reached one of the bunks and took up a defensive position against the wall.
“That's a gnat for ya," Dani laughed, plopping down on the bunk next to the shivering Espeon, “just keep coming from all sides they can't slap you away. Just imagine I was trying to hurt you. Blood. Everywhere. It's not even hard. I suppose it's even worse for you Psychics…the tiniest touch sets you off. It's almost not fair."
Lavender tried frantically to catch her breath, coughing each time a new rush of giggles erupted from her diaphragm. Her face burned beneath her fur, pulse racing as blood pumped heartily to various tingling areas subjected to the mischievous assault. To the side, Dani's fangs flashed in a Cheshire grin as she studied the Espeon's face, and she let out a triumphant sigh as she received the slightest hint of a smile in return. She draped an arm around Lavender's shoulders and lightly tickled at the lilac pelt of her bicep.
“So who's the boss, Lavie?"
“Bite me," Lavender coughed, still giggling and clutching at her nudity in anticipation of further attacks, “and it's Lavender to you."
“Eh, I don't think so. Too long, not worth it. You don't see me telling you to call me Daniela."
“Only my family calls me Lavie. I guess my friends call me Elle…or Ellie."
“Friends, awwww. I'm touched. Ellie, huh? I guess that works. Elle. Ellie. Ellllllllllle."
“Oh shut up, Daniela."
“Oh you wanna go again? Bitch I didn't even go after your little purple briar patch last time."
“Don't you dare!"
After a few more pokes and jibes, Lavender found herself sufficiently calmed down, her heart rate returning to normal and the flush fading from her cheeks. Dani urged her from the bunk and Lavender found the Weavile's claw massaging her bare hip once again as she guided the Espeon around the hold to meet the last of their compatriots. They passed Nicole and Travis, still deeply engaged in conversation, and the Espeon groaned to discover that Ozzy remained the center of discussion. This reaction invited a squeeze to her rear, and upon catching the shocked gasp at the brink of her muzzle, she agitatedly shoved Dani away to the sound of hissing laughter.
The tour began at the corner of the room, where the tall, curvaceous figure of Tiffany Harkick (labeled less-than-affectionately by Dani as 'Tits-any') sprawled across one bunk. Long, bubblegum hair cascaded over her back and spilled off of her bunk as she lay facing the wall, matching the uniquely pink fur dotting her extremities. Despite her efforts at concealment, the Lopunny looked like a photoshopped centerfold straight out of Breeder magazine; ample breasts practically burst from her crossed arms and a set of long, slim legs lead to a perky, bunny ass. A brown puffball tail only served to accentuate the succulent meat of her rump, quivering in time with the near-imperceptible trembling of her body. Her otherwise flawless form only suffered from a high, squeaky voice, which emerged as she huffily ordered Dani to leave her alone after several minutes of fruitless cajoling.
Across from Tiffany, a pair of glasses lay upturned on an empty pillow, and below the bunk, a Mienshao girl had taken up residence, curling up against the wall and hugging her knees against into her elfin chest. Long strands of black hair messily masked her face with only the creamy fur of her whiskers breaking free of the façade. Any curve to her body remained hidden beneath the sweeping fur of her arms, wrapped tightly around her thighs to further seal her away from the rest of the ship. Dani offered little insight into the girl, unaware of even her name. A cursory sweep of the Weavile's paw beneath the bunk only resulted in the Mienshao's shivering pale frame scooting away and tightly stuffing herself into the room's sharp corner. Dani shrugged at Lavender and the pair concluded that it was best that they move on.
Lying back on his bunk at the far corner of the room from Tiffany, Hiroki Amazaki hastily ducked his hands to conceal his slippery, pink manhood as the pair of nude females approached. Lavender admired the Greninja's slick, amphibian skin as it glistened in the room's dim lighting, the lack of fur highlighting every muscle of his nimble frame. As Dani introduced her, the Espeon noticed the long, strong tongue wrapped around his neck, tightening as he glanced over her and Dani's bare curves. The hint of a devious smirk crossed her muzzle as she greeted the boy with an outstretched paw, and as he shifted to return the gesture, his budding erection slipped free of his grasp. A wild ribbit echoed through the room and he pulled away to cross his legs and regain his modesty. Lavender only caught a glimpse of the boy's eager shaft, but between him and Travis, the Espeon was more than pleased with what her new roommates had to offer.
Satisfied with introductions, Lavender returned to her sister, who seemed slightly more at ease, though still hiding her nipples beneath the coarse black fur of her palms. To Nicole's dismay however, Dani joined the conversation, drawing the Espeon into a flurry of stories about her more violent exploits, and questions about whether Lavender had left any scars on her way out of the facility. Travis took the Umbreon under his wing, suggesting she meet the others as Lavender had done spirited her away, leaving the Espeon alone with Dani once again. Lavender lost track of time recounting her own delinquency, only interrupted by the jolting thump of the ship around her.
“What the? What was that?"
“We landed," Dani replied bluntly, “I don't know where…Kanto or Hoenn, one of those two. Time to put on a happy face, Ellie…we've got company."
