Work's been a bit crazy, and had to wrestle with the human character to figure out exactly what paths he wanted this story to take. had a lot of decisions to be made before continuing this one, so that also contributed to the delay.

The human character is introduced, and her cultural aversion to spiders is tested. milyi dashed through the village on two, swift brown feet. the tents blurred around her, a stream of soft colors against the green of the surrounding forest.

Tiger of the Mountain
The human character and the tiger in question do not even have names. my absolute word minimum for a story has been 4,400 for many years, and i have only broken that once with living with lions.
