#22 of ragnarok shane meets the old man in person, at last, hidden from the sulfur carrier in the mortal world. and from there he goes to finally say farewell. i'm reasonably proud of this canto, even if it is straight.

#9 of ragnarok after a night of strange and cryptic dreams, shane arises to see, and fight, the soot for himself. this canto is how i know my dad, a literature professor, was lying when he said he read these when i was first writing them.

#16 of ragnarok as the witchfolk depart for other worlds, king roam and the young girl both come to speak with shane, ere a further calamity befalls. i'm still pretty proud of the dialogue in this canto.
