This is for valixdweredragon, a continuation of a story they won in a raffle. Alexandre is not handling his transformation into a werefurred-dragon very well. Both his girlfriend Élise and his other half Valixia are trying to help him, but Alexandre isn't being very receptive.

Chapter 2

The alarm on the phone was going off, but the young man didn’t want to get up. Keeping his head down on his pillow he reached out a flailing hand to silence it. Eventually he was successful. Alexandre kept his eyes shut tightly, trying to will himself back to sleep so he wouldn’t have to think about his life and where he found himself. Eventually, his bladder made the decision to get up for him.

Alexandre slowly got out of his warm bed and instantly felt the cool air of his apartment through the thin t-shirt and shorts he was wearing. After letting out a long yawn he hurried to the bathroom to relieve himself. While he was in the middle of doing so, he realized there was one mirror he had neglected to cover in the apartment.

“Morning, Stud.” Valixia spoke to him through his reflection, waving once she caught his eye. “Did you sleep well?”

Alexandre said nothing as he finished relieving himself.

“Oh come on, this isn’t a public washroom.” Valixia put her hands on her hips. “We’re alone in our own apartment, talk to me.”

“I’m not really in the mood to talk.” He said before flushing.

“That’s why you need to…Don’t walk away from me!”

Alexandre stopped at the doorway and turned back. “Valixia, I just want to be alone.”

“Just because you don’t see and hear me doesn’t mean you’re alone. I’m still there, you know. If you go and make a sandwich I can see you do it, smell the toppings and taste it as you chew.”

“Great, now I’m hungry.”

“Good, you need to eat something.”

Alexandre rolled his eyes and left the bathroom. His original plan to climb back into bed was spoiled now, so he got his robe and went to his apartment’s tiny kitchen. Valixia was right, he did need to eat something. He dropped two pieces of bread into the toaster and waited for them to pop up. He saw on his phone several messages from Élise since last night, but he didn’t want to look at them right now.

“Why did I say yes that night on the farm?” He muttered to himself. “How do I live like this?”

“It’s not that hard, you’re just overthinking it.” Valixia responded from the reflection on the toaster. “Let’s just talk about it.” she said as the toast popped up.

Alexandre quickly snatched up the bread and put a box of cereal in front of the toaster to block the reflection.

“Just leave me alone for a minute!” He shouted into the empty kitchen.

Alexandre then quickly blushed with embarrassment before going to the small kitchen table. He spread jam over the hot toast more out of habit than desire. He stared at the toast and jam for a moment before picking a slice up and taking a bite. As he ate, all he could think about was the changes to his life since the last full moon.

Even while in his completely male human form, there were noticeable changes, even just a day or so after the night Valixia showed up. The first thing he noticed in the mirror, besides his other half, was his ears. The tops of which now sported a slight point at the top. Élise had asked if he never noticed her ears were much the same, let alone the rest of her family. It was pretty embarrassing to Alexandre that he had not noticed.

Then there was his body. Alexandre wasn’t fat before, but his build was at best average with pretty much zero muscle tone. This had soon changed, his body taking on what could be seen as a swimmer’s body, with lean defined muscles. Alexandre felt stronger, and his endurance had increased exponentially.

The most shocking part he discovered the first time Alexandre went to relieve himself. Although he was never one to take a ruler to his manhood, there was no doubt he had gotten longer and thicker, he was at least twenty-five centimeters long; probably a little more with his veins very pronounced. When Alexandre confronted Élise about it, she admitted her HRT had reduced her own quite a bit and he was fairly average for ‘one of their kind’.

Although it was hard to not call these things improvements, they were still changes to his body. Sometimes Alexandre felt like he was walking around in someone else’s skin. It made him want to just stay at home rather than risk someone asking him about it.

Alexandre finished his small meal, but he continued to sit in his kitchen trying to decide what to do. He heard a knock on his door, but he ignored it, he didn’t feel like talking to anyone. There was another knock and when he still didn't answer he could hear a key in the lock. Only one person had a key, so he knew who it was. He looked up and watched as Élise let herself in.

“Alexandre? I thought you were asleep when you didn’t answer the door.”

“What are you doing here?”

“I texted that I was coming over,” she said, shrugging out of her heavy winter coat, “you’re ignoring your messages.”

He didn’t say anything, he just looked down at the floor. Élise hung up her coat and walked over to him.

“You’ve really got me worried.” she said, placing a hand gently on her shoulder. “You know I want to help you.”

“It’s easy for you, you were always this way.”

“I was born into it, and I knew what was going to happen after I turned eighteen, but that didn’t make it easy.” Élise pulled a chair over next to him and sat down. “The first time Tierlin spoke to me in a mirror I jumped back scared like a kitten.”

“Mmm, sure…” Alexandre mumbled, still looking at the ground.

“You get used to the conversation.” She glanced around and noticed every reflective surface was covered or obscured. “If you let them talk. Tierlin helped me through it as much as my parents did.”

“Right, well, maybe I got the jerk one.”

“Valixia isn’t a jerk, I was there when she came out too, even if Tierlin was in the front seat. And I know she told you how much she cares for you too. She was the one who told me to date you, you know.”

Alexandre looked up and met her eyes. “I just…I feel like I jumped in and didn’t think about things, what it would be like living like this.” He shook his head. “And I feel like…the way I felt for Tierlin when I met her. I wasn’t faithful to you.”

“Alexandre! No! you can’t cheat on me with my other half, it doesn’t work that way. She’s still a part of me. It’s important that you love her as much as it is that you love me. That’s true for a werecreature of any stripe.”

“So, you feel the same way about Valixia?”

“I just met her.” She managed a small smile. “Tierlin has known you as long as I have, but I will in time.” Élise let out a long sigh. “Alexandre,” Élise placed her warm hands on his cheek, “let me help you through this.”

“I don’t think you can.” he said softly and pulled away.

He regretted it immediately when he saw the tears start to form in her eyes. Before he could say or do anything she ran and grabbed her coat and left the apartment, slamming the door shut behind her.

“Fuck me…” Alexandre lowered his head into his hands and started to cry.

***

Alexandre knew he needed a shower. He felt dirty, and not all of it was dirt and crud. He forced himself back into the bathroom. When Alexandre flicked on the lights, Valixia was waiting for him with a scowl on her face.

“How could you do that to her!” She snapped. “She was there to help, you goddamn idiot!”

“Yeah, I’m a fucking moron, I know.”

“Damn right you are!” she made a sound that could only be described as an angry growl. “The best thing that ever happened to you and you made her cry. If I could, I'd punch you in the face.”

“Right now, I’d let you do it.” he said flatly as he slipped off his robe.

“You are going to make this right.”

“I don’t know if I can.” He rested his hands on the vanity and leaned forward.

“You’ll figure it out.” Valixia sighed. “I can’t believe I’m so angry at my other half.”

“I’m sorry…I just…How the hell am I supposed to deal with all of this?”

“You can start by not avoiding me. I know everything you do, but not what you’re thinking.”

“Maybe you’re right.”

“What was that? I didn't quite hear you through the self-pity.”

Alexandre sighed. “You’re right.”

“Good.” Valixia nodded. “Now let’s get started, strip.”

“What?”

“You’re here for a shower, right? Well get naked.”

Alexandre straightened up his body with a long sigh. After pausing for a moment to stare back at Valixia he pulled off his t-shirt. His other half mirrored his actions.

“All of it.”

“I’m getting there.”

He pushed down his shorts then looked back in the mirror. Valixia stood there as naked as he was. There was something vaguely feminine about the way she stood there, even without breasts or female hips.

“That feels better, those clothes are damn near crusty.”

“Yeah.”

“Look, the most important part of this is you accepting what you are now. Yes, you’re not technically human anymore, but it’s not like you have to throw away everything you are. You being you is why Élise and Tierlin love you.”

Alexandre managed a nod, but his mind went back to making his girlfriend cry earlier.

“You are carrying a lot of stress right now. You need something to let it out so you can think clearly.”

“That’s one of the reasons I want to take a shower.”

“Yes, but not yet. I have a little idea.” A small smile started to curl her lips. “Just relax, and feel free to play along.”

Valixia slowly ran her hands down her body. As she did so, Alexandre felt a tingle along his own skin.

“Wh-what?”

“What I feel, you feel, and vice versa.” she smiled a bit wider at him. “Like this.”

Valixia brought her hands up to her chest and started to gently rub her nipples. Almost immediately Alexandre’s nipples grew stiff. She then gently squeezed her nipples between her thumb and forefingers, and she let out a soft moan. Alexandre let out a gasp and placed his own hands over his chest when he felt the phantom sensations.

“Mmm, you’re sensitive for a guy, aren’t you?” Valixia giggled. “Does Élise know?” Alexandre blushed deeply, but he managed a small nod. “Oh good, because if she didn’t I would totally tell Tierlin about it.

Valixia continued to tease her nipples and it was having an effect on Alexandre’s cock. It was quickly growing stiff.

Valixia looked down as her cock was in the same state. “Mmm, not as big as mine, but still quite nice.”

She reached down and placed her hand on her shaft. He could feel her fingers on his own, even though his hands were still resting on his chest.

“Oh, I’m just getting this out of the way.” Valixia said as she shifted her stiff rod and sack to the side.

Alexandre's eyes went wide and he blinked, not expecting to see a vagina behind them.

“Oh yes, I still have this, even if you don’t.” She let a finger graze lightly along her slit.

He let out a moan as he felt it. It was so real he needed to check if a pussy had suddenly appeared on his body, but of course it wasn’t there.

Valixia giggled again. “No, only I have one, but you can still enjoy it.” she let out a soft moan of her own as she continued to rub herself. “If you want to join in with your cock, feel free, I certainly won’t complain.”

Alexandre gasped as he felt Valixia’s finger slip slowly into her slit. He had to grip the edge of the vanity to steady himself.

“Come on, relax and enjoy. We both need this.” She slowly pushed her finger in and out.

Alexandre looked down. His rock hard cock was almost twitching with need as he felt Valixia’s phantom finger pushing in deeper and deeper. Keeping himself braced against the vanity with his left arm, Alexandre reached down and wrapped his hand tightly around his cock.

“Mmm, yeah, let’s do this together, hun.” Valixia encouraged him from the mirror.

Still a bit unsure, Alexandre started to stroke his cock. After a few repetitions he matched himself in time to Valixia’s finger. They were both moaning softly, feeling the phantom touch of their other half while getting themselves off. Alexandre’s mind wandered between the scene in the mirror, the party at the farm, and back to his time with Élise before he knew anything of werefurred-dragons.

“Mmmm, this is almost as good as the real thing…” Valixia moaned.

Alexandre said nothing, he was too focused on his memories and the sensations running through his body. His toes were already curling into the bathroom rug. Alexandre could only assume Valixia was close as well. He was right as both their cocks fired off simultaneously. As they cried out, Valixia’s female orgasm joined in. Even with his death grip on the vanity Alexandre almost collapsed. He panted hard trying to catch his breath. Jerking off had never felt that good before. Other than her own heavy breathing and soft moans, Valixia was quiet. They both needed time to recover from the experience.

Alexandre did feel slightly better for the release. Valixia was right, he was carrying a lot on his shoulders, and he needed some kind of release. It didn’t help how he felt for hurting Élise, however.

“See, if we work together things can be much better.” She winked.

“I’m sorry…” Alexandre whispered to the mirror.

“I’m not the one who you need to apologize to.”

“No, I do owe you an apology.” He pulled a wad of toilet paper off the roll and started to clean his splattered cum. “I haven’t been very receptive to you. I’ve been avoiding talking to you. You know, in society talking to your reflection isn’t seen as the most sane thing.”

“I guess if you were still a human it would mean you need help.”

“Yeah, even after the party it still triggers me a bit. That’s the reason I’ve been covering things up.”

“Think how hard it’s been on Élise trying to not be caught by you chatting with Tierlin.”

“That is…looking at it from the other side.” He tossed the sticky wad into the trash can. “But what the hell am I going to do now?”

“First you’re going to take a long hot shower, then shave that scruff off of your face.”

“That will be interesting, won’t it?”

“Please, I’ll keep my mouth shut, I don’t want you all bloody. After that, you are going to find Élise, apologize for being a giant ass, and let her help you through this.”

Alexandre stared back silently, but eventually nodded.

***

There was a light snow falling when Alexandre left his apartment. He put up his hood, not so much for the cold but to keep the snow out of his freshly washed and combed hair. Hands in his pockets he walked down the street. Alexandre was dreading what would happen next. What if Élise didn’t forgive him. He paused and looked in a storefront window. Valixia was there waiting for him.

“Hey, remember, you’re not alone in this. I’m right here with you.”

Alexandre smiled slightly and nodded before continuing his slow walk. It was just a few blocks to Élise’s place, so even taking his time he soon arrived outside. Alexandre stared up at the building, searching out Élise’s window. The curtains were drawn shut, not that he expected to see her there waiting for him. He took a deep breath before walking up to the door and hitting the intercom buzzer.

He waited for a response for a while, but none came. Alexandre hit the buzzer again. There was still silence on the line, but the outside door unlocked. He quickly entered the building and shut the heavy door behind him. Alexandre dusted the snow off his jacket and climbed the stairs up to Élise’s apartment. After a knock the door opened a crack.

“What do you want?” It was obvious she had been crying from her voice and the one red eye he could see.

“I want to apologize, and talk with you.” Alexandre said softly. “Can I please come in?”

Élise stared at him for an uncomfortable amount of time before opening the door to let him in.

“Thank you.” He whispered as he entered. “Élise, I’m sorry…I’m so sorry! I was a god damned idiot. I shouldn’t have pushed you away like that. Just because I was hurting was no excuse to hurt you.”

Élise said nothing, she just walked over to her couch and sat down.

“I took your advice and I spent some time talking to Valixia.” He took off his jacket and joined her on the couch.

“Oh?” her voice was flat and she didn’t really make eye contact with him. “And what did she say to you?”

Alexandre sighed. “First, she chewed me out for how I treated you.”

“Hmmm.” Élise still wasn’t making eye contact.

He rubbed the back of his head as he continued. “Then we let off some steam and I took a shower.”

“I can tell, you needed it.” Élise let her eyes meet his

“Then we talked more as I took the covers off of the mirrors and stuff in the apartment. I’ve still got a lot to work through.” Alexandre folded his hands in his lap and glanced down. “It’s not so much Valixia talking to me, I told you earlier it was like I was cheating on you by liking Tierlin, but there was more than that. I still feel like I’m in someone else’s body when I see how I look now.”

“Did it ever occur to you I was a bit of an expert at that? I lived my first fifteen years as a boy, I know the feeling.”

He looked up. “When you put it that way it only makes me feel like more of an idiot.”

“So you’ve got a few more muscles. You could have done that as a human by going to a gym.” She shook her head. “I don’t love you any less or more because you have them.”

“I should have been asking for your help since we got back.”

“Yes, you should have.”

Alexandre reached out and gently held her hand. “Please, Élise, help me.”

Élise let out a long sigh. “We’ve had arguments before, but you really hurt me this time. I didn’t lightly choose to tell you about me and my family. It took a lot of trust and love to bring you in.”

“I know,” he gave her hand a small squeeze, “and I should have trusted you to be there and help me deal with all of this.”

“Alexandre, I’m hoping your talk with Valixia helped you to better understand my own relationship with Tierlin.” She shifted on the couch to face him better. “She started as just an imaginary friend of mine when I was a kid. When I was in my teens, thinking back on her helped me to figure out who I really was. When she started to talk to me it did make me jump, even knowing it was coming, yes, but she gave me comfort and support that even my parents couldn't as I transitioned.”

Alexandre nodded. “I think I understand better why they’re called our other half now.”

“When Tierlin and Valixia are enjoying themselves, it’s also you and me there.” Élise touched his cheek gently. “I can look past that black furred face and see you.”

“I-” he leaned into her warm hand, “I want to be able to do that with Tierlin.”

“Your first moon can be confusing as hell. The next one will be a lot easier on you, physically and mentally.” Élise held his gaze firmly. “Trust me.”

Alexandre nodded. “I do.”

Élise reached out and pulled Alexandre into a tight hug. He closed his eyes feeling the warmth and love. He hugged her back tightly, pulling her up off the couch. Élise chuckled softly.

“You are definitely stronger.”

“Sorry…” Alexandre blushed slightly.

“It wasn’t a complaint, babe.” She kissed his cheek. “It feels good to be in your arms.”

Alexandre relaxed slightly. “It feels good to hold you, but it always did.”

Élise smiled softly as she settled in cuddling against him. “I know you’re going through a lot, but you’re not alone.”

“Not between you and Valixia, no.” he kissed her cheek.

“Why don’t I make some tea and we just sit and talk about, well, whatever you need to talk about.”

“In a minute, I don’t want to let go of you just yet.”

***

Alexandre looked down into his freshly brewed cup of tea. He was standing at the kitchen counter next to Élise as she fixed her own cup. He turned to watch her as she stirred in the sugar.

“What did it feel like?”

“Hmmm?” Élise looked up from her tea.

“The first time Tierlin, ah, came out. What did it feel like?” Alexandre picked his tea up and cradled the warm cup in his hands.

“The loss of control at first was very disconcerting before the shift actually began.” She admitted. “Honestly I was scared, but Tierlin was enjoying it. To me my body was changing into something new, but to her, it was becoming what she always was. It was a bit of a disconnect at first.”

Alexandre nodded. “Yeah, that’s a good way to describe it.”

“Then came her night of debauchery. Oh boy…” Élise chuckled. “You see, as a kid they would tuck us away in bed before the real party started. Mom tried to explain it to me, but it didn’t fully click until Tierlin was balls deep in my neighbor.” She smiled even as her cheeks blushed slightly at the memory.

Alexandre blushed. “I was a little surprised how wild Valixia and Tierlin got when the other guests arrived.

“Speaking of which.” Élise turned towards him with her cup of tea in hand. “You only mentioned Tierlin before. Not the other girls Valixia played with.”

Alexandre looked back down at his tea. “That sounds a little hypocritical, doesn’t it?”

Élise smirked. “A bit, yes.”

“I can’t say I didn’t enjoy the, well, I guess you’d have to call it an orgy.” He paused as Élise giggled, but didn’t correct him. “But, I didn’t feel anything for them. Tierlin was special. I felt something with her, even before she bit me.”

“That’s good, actually.” Élise smiled before taking a sip of her tea. “If we are going to continue this relationship, I want you to love her.”

“Fair enough, but what about you and Valixia? How do you feel about her?”

“Unlike you, I didn’t get to meet her in person, but from my experience she seems like an appropriate match for Tierlin. I’m sure in another moon or two She’ll grow on me, especially if we want our relationship to…” Élise started to blush and tried to hide it by sipping her tea.

Alexandre took a sip of his own tea and let the thought hang in the air between them for a bit. He reached over and placed his hand on the small of her back.

“I’m not trying to rush anything,” Alexandre smiled, “but no woman ever made me feel the same way you do. I want to see where this leads us.”

Élise lowered her cup slowly. “Well, if that’s how it’s going to be, you’ll need to accept what you and I are.”

“I know, and I think I’m slowly getting there.” He half smiled before taking a long drink. “There’s something else I want to ask you, if that’s ok.”

“I’m here to guide you through this, silly, just ask.”

“Ok…When I was walking back from the bus stop the other day, I noticed something about random people on the street. I didn’t recognize them or anything but there was something off about them. I’ve noticed it since then whenever I’m paying attention to people.”

“Oh! Oh, yeah, I guess I didn’t explain that to you yet.” Élise blushed slightly again. “I’m sorry. First of all there’s nothing wrong with you or them. We can tell when someone isn’t, well, completely human. Those people you noticed are some kind of werecreature.”

Alexandre’s eyes widened slightly at this revelation. “Really?”

“Yep,” she nodded, “if they noticed you, they would be able to tell just as easily.”

“How do you figure out exactly what, ah, kind they are?”

“You ask them.” Élise shrugged, “It’s not exactly rude, really, but you certainly don’t do it in mixed company.”

“Do I already know anyone? Other than your family, of course.” He seemed rather curious about it.

“Not in our shared group of friends, no, and I haven’t met all of your friends yet.” She sighed. “I kind of wish there was, they could help you through this too, even if they were a horse or a wolf.” She paused for a moment. “Though you know Mr. Hallahan?”

Alexandre furrowed his brow. “You mean the owner of Hallahan’s? The place we go all the time for poutine?”

“Yes, him.” Élise nodded. “He and his family are weremoose.”

He blinked. “Wait, that’s a thing?”

Élise had to laugh. “We do live in Canada, there’s a lot of them here.” Élise took another sip of tea. “The point is, humans aren’t going to know you’re anything more than just a guy.”

“That is a little comforting.” Alexandre looked back down at his tea, “I just look so different to myself now I figured I would let the cat out of the bag just by existing.”

“You are still Alexandre, you don’t have to give up on your friends, plans, or anything else. If someone asks, just say I’ve been making you work out with me, but honestly, most people won’t even notice the changes.”

“Except during the full moon.”

“Yes, but at least you don’t have to be alone for it.” She leaned against him slightly. “And neither do I, even if we are stuck in town.”

“Oh god,” Alexandre shook his head, “how does that even work?”

“Personally I start by pushing all the furniture to the walls.” She smiled before taking a sip of tea.

“What about…Does your downstairs neighbor complain at all?”

“She usually goes out to her family’s cabin for the moon, but since she’s a werebear I think she would understand.” Élise smiled.

Alexandre just shook his head before sipping his tea.

Élise giggled. “I know it’s got to be weird finding out all of this is real.”

“Not as weird as my reflection talking to me. If I can get used to that, the rest isn’t so bad.” He shrugged his shoulders.

They both enjoyed their tea for a moment before Élise spoke up.

“Tell me, just how do you see Valixia? I mean obviously she looks mostly like you in the mirror, I mean how do you see her as a person?”

“Hmmm…” He took a long sip of his tea. “At first I kind of saw her as a horny succubus. But after having a long talk with her…”

“Yes?”

“Now, I see her as more like a guardian angel. Someone to watch over me, and yell at me when I’m an idiot.”

Élise chuckled.

“Maybe you’re right and I need a few more moons, but at least I think I can make it to the next one.” He wrapped his arms loosely around her. “Especially if you’re there to help me.”

“Hmmm” she leaned against Alexandre in his arms. “Do you have any plans for the rest of the day?”

“No.”

“Then why don’t you just stay here with me?”

Alexandre tightened his embrace. “I think I’d like that.”

***

Alexandre was pulling the sheet up over them both in Élise’s bed. As he spooned against her, his eyes wandered up to the mirror over her dresser.

“Mmmm, that felt good.” Valixia said with a wink. “That’s what I call make-up sex.”

“Oh please, don’t call it that…”

“Too bad, because that’s exactly what it was.” She let out a long sigh, “But it’s alright, I think you earned it.”

Alexandre chuckled, “Yeah, I guess so.”

“Talking to Valixia ?” Élise asked as she pushed back into his body.

“Yeah, she apparently enjoyed it too.”

“Of course she did, because I know you enjoyed it.” Élise looked into the mirror for a moment. “Tierlin has a lot of compliments on your skills.”

“Does she?”

“Oh yes, she’s always like the way you make love to me, she just wants you to know it now. She especially loves the way you go down on me.”

Alexandre blushed in the dimly lit room, but just held Élise tighter. “Anything else?”

“She likes your cock more than before.” she giggled.

“Does she,” Alexandre whispered into her ear, “what about you?”

Élise squirmed a bit in his arms before answering. “It’s just more of a good thing.”

Alexandre chuckled and kissed the back of her neck. “That’s a good answer. I love you.”

“I love you too…” She turned to share a goodnight kiss.

“And I love you too, stud.” Valixia said from the mirror. “I know Tierlin feels the same way.”

Alexandre smiled softly. “Good night, everybody.”

Élise giggled softly and snuggled up tighter. “What he said.”
