#1 of Commissions

Commissioned by Coonfox as my first SoFurry writing commission!

Coonfox had a character bio that needed fleshing out so I wrote up a short story about her 'origin story' of sorts. The actual short isn't as... well, short, as intended--it runs 8,749 words and was estimated at 7,000. I decided to give the commission some leeway this time as I was granted freedom to cross this character's story with my own. There's even an extra little treat at the end that deserves a giant 'DUN DUN DUUUN' every time I read it. Sorry, now I'm just getting silly. :3

This story contains adult content and explicit sexual imagery. If you aren't allowed or don't wish to view such material, please stop reading immediately. To all the rest, enjoy! Comments and critiques are welcome and encouraged. And congratulate Coonfox on having a great story written!

"Alright, guys. Show's ending, so game faces." A hefty black bear adjusted his suit jacket after pulling out a set of expensive sunglasses. "And rookies, remember your place here. No commotion, and let us handle the clients directly. And you, Lilith... Watch the van for us. Now back off to your posts."

One of the rookies, a male fluff drake named Vorak, saluted his superior and rigidly backed away to find the door he was to guard. "Yes, sir!"

Lilith, twin sister to Vorak, grumbled to herself as she headed to the rear exit. "Why don't I get to see any action? Hell, I'd like to just see the band in person but ~nooo~..."

The last of the newbies to the group caught up to her, as his posting happened to be those very same exit doors. "Don't worry about it. I'm... sure you'll get your chance later." The well-dressed, lithe meerkat opened the door for Lilith and she paused just beyond. "You're Lilith, huh? Name's Cid."

"Yeah, but just call me Lilly. What post they got you doing?"

Cid closed the door and stood in front of it with his arms crossed. "Right here. And if you've got the van, I'm sure I can hear you from here. Make sure you shout if something happens--uh, not that you can't handle it or anything. Just always safer to have backup, right?"

"Don't think I'll be of any concern, but yeah. Thanks." Lilly started to walk forward but halted herself and turned back to Cid. "You think I did anything wrong earlier, on the floor? I mean, that wolf guy was already over the foot of the stage when I threw him back."

"Fans can be fanatical, after all. I don't know what Frank was thinking when he pulled you back." Cid briefly checked two furs for backstage passes and let them through before continuing. "Concert crowds are pretty bad though. Maybe he's just flustered himself."

"Yeah, maybe." Lilly adjusted her dress pants, apparently so her thick tail would slip out the back easier. "You don't really think we need van duty though, do you? No offense, but it isn't rocket science to check some badges at a door."

"Hey, never said I agreed with that decision." Cid heard a commotion coming from down the hall and had an idea to cheer Lilly up. "Sounds like your brother's getting a lot of furs at once. Could you watch my post a second while I check on him?"

Lilly beamed out a smile and nodded back. "Definitely. He's tough, but as you said backup isn't a bad thing either."

"Cool. Thanks, Lilly." Cid adjusted his crimson red tie and stepped off towards the other set of doors. "I'll be back in a jiffy."

Cid rounded a corner and went to adjust his pants as well, his crotch twisting out of place due to a bit of extra bagginess. He checked that nobody was in sight and then reached past his belt, adjusting something hard and bulky around his groin. Satisfied that he could handle the rest of the evening in comfort, he settled for re-tailoring his suit later and continued back to Vorak's position.

"Hey... Vorak, right?" Cid rounded the second corner and froze at what he found. The fluff drake was leaning against his doors as expected, but a pair of girls were kneeling in front of him. "Uh... sorry. Bad timing."

"Hmm? Oh, hey." Vorak took his paws off one girl's head and moved to the other, causing them to swap positions bobbing before him. "These girls wanted back there bad enough. I got two if you're up for it."

"Uh... No, thanks...." Cid backed away and waited by the edge of the hallway. "I heard a bit of noise, but it looks like you've got things... under control here."

"Yeah, had a bunch come through a minute ago. I'm good now. Real good."

Just as Cid was about to back away the door to Vorak's left opened. "Woah, what's going on here?" One of the other senior security specialists, a stallion named Brad, forced his way through and stared at the girls. "Taking your position seriously, I see."

"Shit." Vorak pulled the second girl away from his crotch and made her swap with the first. "Here I thought I'd have them both to myself. You want blondie? Red here's got a bit more skill so... dibs."

"Fuck, man. Whatever." Brad unzipped his fly and let his huge length flop out for the blonde bunny girl. "A mouth's a mouth I guess. Good find, man. Any chance of a fuck?"

The redheaded vixen paused her motions and chuckled out an answer. "I could use a fling. Throw in some shirts, maybe..."

"Fuck... You got it, babe."

The bunny girl didn't even bother with her mouth at this point, immediately going for the button of her jeans. "I'll take one of those limited edition hats, too."

The two males gave each other a fist bump just as Cid crept back out of sight, but not before yanking out his phone to snap a quick photo of the event. "Fucking sexist bastards." He furiously stomped his way back to his posting and nudged Lilly out of the way. "Oh, no big deal after all. Just your brother getting ~laid~."

"Wait, what?" Lilith backed away from the door and looked blankly down the hallway. "Did I hear that right?"

"Yeah, you did. He's got a girl macking on his junk for a pass."

"Fuck, that idiot." Lilly started to head down the hall, but backed up and went for the door. "If he gets caught by the press the guys'll never respect us. I need to tell someone."

"Lilly, there's nothing we can do. Hell, Brad's joining in." Cid let out a sigh and gave the drake a shove towards the outer doors. "Just go back to the van before ~you~ get in trouble."

"Really? We're leaving it at that?" Lilly huffed and grumbled as she started going to the van. "I wish ~I~ could have a fan go down on me without my boss caring. What the fuck makes him--"

"You what, Lilith?" Frank shoved open the door and checked the surroundings before continuing. "What did I say about appearances? What if someone heard that?"

The fluff drake spun around with her eyes bulging in surprise and regret. "I didn't... Uh... It'll never... never happen..."

"You're damn right it'll never happen again! You'll be lucky if you still have your job after this for acting like a damn slut!" Frank shoved Lilly harshly towards the street door and opened the one behind him. "Get back to your post! Now!"

Lilith whimpered as she ran off to the van, leaving Cid alone with his superior. "Wasn't that a bit... too much?"

"Just pisses me off. Bitch thinks she can ride with the big boys, but she's only thinking about a man between her legs like all girls." Frank looked back into the hallway and then back to Cid. "Whatever, we'll still get the job done without her. Hey, one of the VIPs is about to come out. He has a situation and needs to get to the limo. Keep this door clear. Nobody spots him. Okay?"

"S-Sure. Pass holders and media will get routed to the other entrance. I got this."

"See? So much better." The bear stretched his neck sideways and prepared to bring the VIP. "Never send a girl to do a man's job, right? ETA two minutes. Hold tight."

Cid ducked his head down and sighed as Frank closed the door, but quickly gathered himself to prepare for the escort. "Shit... nobody better come. Sure as hell can't send them Vorak's way right now." The image of that vixen slobbering over the drake came back to mind, distracting Cid more than he cared to admit. "Can't fight the system. Just keep my head down and I'll be fine."

Cid took a settling breath and gave his surroundings a second examination. The one end of the hallway effectively took care of itself, leading only to a the venue's native security office. The other end lead to Vorak's post as well as forking via a stairway. Then of course Lilly had her eyes on the exit door ahead, as well as it being one-way without a key. Potential threats could only come from Vorak's direction, but Cid didn't exactly trust his level of security at the moment. He decided to close one of the transitional doorways instead, deterring people from coming through as well as forming a light obstacle should anyone decide to press their luck.

Cid clicked down some door locks near the floor and went back to his post. "Should give me some warning at least."

The inner door popped open and Frank emerged with the lead guitarist of the band they were protecting. "VIP's moving. Check the exit for us, would ya'?"

Cid hesitated a moment as he spotted red running down near the VIP's left eye from somewhere in his hairline. "Security breach or fight?"

Frank shook his head as he helped the VIP along. "Doesn't matter. VIP needs stitches so we're discretely taking him to the hospital."

Just as he got to the exit door Cid spotted a flash out the corner of his eye. "Shit. Reporters." He ran over to the hallway doors and found a lone photographer dashing away upon peering through the unbreakable windows. He lifted the locks and pushed to chase down the guy, but the doors still didn't budge. "He tied the other side. Crap... Vorak's side has an exit though..."

Frank pressed the VIP near a wall so he wasn't visible to the barred doors. "That photo can't get out. Vorak got his radio on?"

"We don't have radios yet. Rookies, remember?" Cid ran into the rear exit and slammed it open with his whole weight. "I'll intercept him. Worry about the VIP and further exposure. I've got this."

"Cid? What's up?" Lilith perked up from leaning on the side of the van. "Something's wrong, isn't it?"

"Papparazzi snapped a bad photo. Heading for you brother as we speak." Cid picked up into a a full sprint around the side of the building, but was surprised when Lilith caught up with such little time to react. "I think he's trying to use the east exit near Vorak. Could be upstairs though."

"I'll see if there's a way out up high then. Get to that door and we'll cut off his escape routes."

"No, I'll take the high road. You look faster on the ground."

"Got it."

Cid almost laughed at Lilly as she took off in a full sprint and broke far ahead of him. She hit a fence but didn't let it stop her, quickly scrambling over. Meanwhile Cid diverted into a brick shed to the side of the fence, running up the wall and kicking the corner to get atop the structure. He jumped down into a somersault roll tto clear the fence and then looked for a path upward as Lilly rounded the corner of the building. The drake had her route covered for sure, but the best Cid could come up with was an open window on the second floor.

The meerkat ran forward and vaulted over a handrail to pick up speed. Ahead was a dumpster just beneath a fire escape that would place Cid close to his window. He sprinted to the dumpster, kicked off a nearby wall, then scrambled atop and balanced on the garbage bin's edge. Then he pulled onto the fire escape and went a floor higher, needing a bit of vertical breathing space to reach the window. Just before the impromptu entrance was a lamp post, which Cid leaped towards. He snagged the pole and used it to redirect his momentum towards the window as he fell, landing legs-first inside the window.

There wasn't any sign of movement so Cid headed the same direction as Lilly. He combed the whole upper hallway and found nothing, yet pressed forward anyway. If the photographer was going for the far stairwell Cid would have noticed, and the midway stairs were in Vorak and Lilly's path. Then Cid found another open window.

"He's gotta be sneaking in through these." Cid poked his head out the window and found the target scrambling down the sides of the band's equipment truck. Then he heard Lilly running further back and gave her a heads-up. "Lilly! He's by the truck over here!"

The fluff drake rounded another fence and looked up for a moment before following Cid's pointed finger to the target. "Got him!"

Cid hopped out the window, but chose to kick off the wall and roll on the ground rather than waste time clumsily climbing down the truck. "Lilly?"

Lilith suddenly tackled the guy, a ferret now that they could see him clearly. "Got ya', scumbag!" She yanked out a personal tazer of hers and zapped the squirming mustelid rather than wrestle with him. She quickly took the camera and gave it to Cid then started checking the ferret's clothing for concealed weapons. "Think you could sneak around without getting caught, huh?"

"I was after the photo, but he really doesn't have a press pass does he?" Cid went through the memory card on the device and deleted the three snaps of the bloodied VIP. "You know you can't use unauthorized copies of someone's likeness, right? And don't start with the free press bull."

Lilly pinned the ferret's arms behind his back before he regained full muscle control. "Not to mention the trespassing."

"That what is was? Trespasser?" Vorak finally rounded the corner and walked over to his sister. "Shit, I'd have let him go. No harm done if he ran off."

"No, he was taking pictures too." Lilly spotted her brother's pants zipper was still wide open and cringed a bit at the image of what he was doing just prior. "Uh, bro... Your fly..."

"Oh, right." He corrected his state of dress and then crouched near the ferret. "Thanks sis. Nice catch, too. Squirmy little bastards, these weasel-types."

"Hey, not sure the band's gonna press charges anyway. This camera's the real prize." Cid gave it to Vorak, hoping that he in turn would relinquish it back to its proper owner. "Incriminating photos are gone now. We're good."

"That so?" Frank made his way around the corner with a light wave of his paw. "Good work, boys. I thought that would be in tomorrow's papers for sure."

"Well, just a damn good team to blame for the results," Cid casually smiled back.

"Agreed. Damn good job, Cid. Nice work with the camera too, Vorak. You don't need to use your sister as a paperweight though." Frank pulled Lilith up to her feet and then wrestled the photographer up by his locked arms. "Thanks for holding him down, but we'll take it from here. And Cid? Vorak? Drop by my office after the job's done. There's a bonus for you two in this out of the VIP's own pocket."

"Frank... That's not exactly how--"

"Nonsense, Cid. The guy already signed off on the extra cash before the limo team drove off."

Cid sighed and looked over to a now-distraught Lilly. "Right... At least the clients are happy."

"Yeah, and we get some more lining for our pockets." Vorak grinned wide as he slowly headed back to his post. "Don't look so down, sis. I'll buy you a beer after the gig. That make you feel better?"

"Not exactly. Just... enjoy your bonus." Lilly practically stomped down the side street back to the equipment van, muttering her distaste beneath her breath. "Fucking sexist..."

Cid reluctantly sighed and started back for his own posting. "Keep us informed, Frank. And try to get us radios next time so we can avoid this. Hell, take it out of my bonus is you have to. Sound like a plan?"

"Now that's the voice of a team player. I see you going far in Paladin Security, buddy." Frank joined Cid as he returned to the building as well. "In fact, after tonight's effort I think I'll write you up for a little promotion. It's feels good to be working with a few good men again."

"Yeah..." Cid sped up his walk and went bug eyed as he now rushed back to unchain the barred door. "...Good men... Right..."

~ - ~ - ~

"Alright, bit of a wrench in the works. VIP is upstairs right now. He's delayed so we'll have to improvise for a bit." Frank checked his pistol before placing it into his holster, then adjusted the ear piece of his radio. "Weapons are live this time, guys. Federal VIPs don't mind us shooting first on government property, so make sure your any threats step past the sidewalk out there first if that's the idea. Keep the big guy safe and we'll get on to the limo stops when he's done in the office. Any questions?"

"Frank, what channel do we use?" Cid tapped his own ear piece and then went to the radio on his waist. "These are still set to the default."

"Oh, right. Sorry, Cid. Use coded channel three. Our unit ID is the cypher." The bear held up his own radio and showed the display so Cid could figure out where to enter the code. "Remember, don't say or write down the code. We don't need anyone spying on our movements."

"Got it."

"Anyone else?"

Lilith set her own radio and then spoke up. "You never told us about the final stop of the day. Where's it at?"

"You didn't need to know. ~Security risk~." With a look of pure annoyance Frank opened the rear loading door of the skyscraper and started inside. "We aren't following the VIP to the last stop, so you don't need to know jack about it. Now are we good to go?"

Vorak spoke up with a slight salute, as has become his sort of tradition for each job. "Yes, sir!"

"Good. Game faces, guys. We're going to the second sky lobby from here, then taking the stairs another two..." Frank spotted a Komodo dragon staring at Lilith's swaying tail from behind and grumbled out a new line of thought. "Jonas? Your head in the game or what?"

"Uh... yeah, boss. I'm cool."

"Really? 'Cause I'm not having someone on the team today if I don't think they're a hundred percent." Frank noticed Lilly squirming her hips side to side as well and practically blew a fuse. "Fuck, Lilith. That means you. We can't have a girl bleeding all over the client."

Lilly gawked at the crude comment. "Wait, the ~fuck~? The hell's that supposed to mean?"

"You're in fucking heat. I can see it plain as day. Everyone, go ahead." The group started to the freight elevator, but Frank held Lilith back with a very inappropriate paw to her chest. "Except you. You're on van duty. Again. Can't have any distractions, can we?"

The fluff drake grabbed Frank's paw and forced it down. "Like hell that's the case! And who the fuck do you think you are, grabbing me like th--!!"

Frank crammed his paw against Lilly's muzzle to silence her and then forcefully snaked his other paw up beneath her shirt for a more direct touch. "Don't fuck with me, girly. While you're on my team, I own you." He kneaded his paw and then pinched Lilly's nipple harshly. "So when I say you get in the van, you get your ass in the van. Then you pray I don't get your ass fired. Or maybe you think we need some ~personal time~ to talk this through?"

"I-I don't..."

Cid looked back with a grimace and then forced himself to clear his face to a more neutral expression before speaking up. "Frank? You coming or what? I could lead the guys but it'll look bad to the VIP if we swap leaders later."

"Shit." Frank pulled his paws back and backed up towards the others. "You got off easy this time. Now get in that fucking van and keep your head down."

"Hey, uh..." The meerkat watched as Lilly regained her senses and then diverted his attention back to his leader. "Didn't you say we might need to spoof the VIP's location and identity?"

"Yeah. He doesn't want anyone tracing him around town, especially not to the last stop."

"Okay. Second sky lobby, then two floors more?" Cid started walking back towards Lilith and casually tapped a button hidden in the metal clasp on his merlot-colored tie. "You made me the tech specialist for a reason. I'll go grab some equipment and a laptop then rejoin the team. That alright?"

"It'll stop us from having to wait later, I guess. Sure." The bear headed onto the elevator and then closed the safety gate. "Just watch yourself around the bitch. She looks the pissy type when she's on the rag. Radio if you need backup, ha ha. Okay, come on. Hit it, guys."

Cid watched the elevator rise out of sight and then continued to the van. "Lilly? You alright?"

The meerkat checked the front cabin and didn't find a trace of Lilith. He pouted as he rounded towards the other side and still came up blank. Finally Cid spotted the rear doors were cracked open and he quickly made his way over to them. He heard what sounded like muffled crying, and for reasons even he couldn't fathom he decided to peek through the cracks in the door rather than outright announce himself.

"Fucking... bastard..." The inside of the van was a tad dark and Cid's eyes needed to adjust to the lower exposure, but it appeared Lilly was curled up behind the driver's seat and noticeably trembling. "Damnit... I just want... to work..."

Cid sighed as he gave up on peeping. He pulled open the doors and almost immediately shielded his eyes, not expecting to get an eyeful of lacy purple bra. "S-Sorry! I didn't know...!"

"Cid?!" Lilly quickly wrestled her blouse up to cover herself better and futilely hunched down to obscure herself from view. "It's not what you think! I swear!"

"Lilly, it's okay..." Cid slowly dropped his paw from his eyes, averting his eyes downward in exchange. "I'll just come back later. I didn't see anything."

"Liar. I saw that look on your face... when your eyes... on my tits..." The drake shuddered and fluffed up her plumes of fur. "Guys like a good pair of tits. I get it."

"Lilly... Sorry. I just wanted to check on you after Frank... Well, you know."

"Cid..." Lilith sat back up, feeling much more relaxed now, but kept her blouse bunched up around her bra. "No, I'm sorry. I freaked out when it was only you. You can... get what you need or whatever. I'm fine."

Cid crawled into the back of the van and shut the doors, making sure to keep his distance just in case. "No, you aren't. Frank touched you. I saw." He sat down so his back rested against an equipment rack. "If you need to talk, I'm here for you. I'll wait until you're dressed again if you'd like, too."

Lilly sighed and dropped her dress shirt. "Honestly, I don't care if it's you. You're too good to me to try and take advantage now." She finished removing her top and then went to begin undoing her slacks as well. "Sorry, I'm just really hot right now. It's not called a 'heat' for nothing."

"That's, uh... That's fine. If you're comfortable then I am too." Cid leaned his head back and rested it on the edge of a shelf, still trying to keep his eyes away from Lilith's body. "So I take it this is the first time he's gone that far?"

"Yeah. First time anyone's touched me like that, actually."

"Really? Don't know too many women that stacked that haven't been with a guy." Cid's eyes nearly popped clear of his head when he realized what he just admitted. "Not that I really got a good look or anything!"

"Shh... It's alright. You don't need to keep looking at the roof either, Cid." Cid took that advice but quickly returned to averting his eyes out of nervousness, which somehow managed a giggle from Lilith. "You quirky thing. You do realize some girls ~want~ to be stared at, right? Makes us feel better about ourselves in the right situations."

Cid finally mustered up enough willpower and looked back, this time taking in the fluff drake's muscled curves. "Well you've got good reason to be proud of yourself, Lilly. So you want to talk? What in the world makes a scary woman like you cry?"

Lilly grinned playfully at the comment. "Scary, huh? I can't help who I am, you know."

"You sure as hell ~can~ choose where you work. If I were you..." Suddenly Cid zoned out, requiring a bop on the shoulder from Lilith to regain his senses. "Uh... If I were you, I'd have quit a long time ago. I don't know how you keep putting up with the shit those guys give you."

"I need this job."

"~This~ one? There's plenty of private security firms out there."

A pout returned to Lilly's muzzle as she stared between her knees. "I just have to keep ~this~ one. Okay? I... Well, this stays between us. Right?"

"Absolutely. We've been friends a few months now. You know I'd never disappoint you."

"Well... I need to work with my brother. We have a kind of... loyalty to each other that I can't help." Lilly looked back up like a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. "It's a genetic thing. We're wired that way."

"Genetic?" Cid perked up and sat himself up straight. "Like, you were engineered? You're first-gen splices?"

"Yeah, sort of. Military project, actually." Lilly huffed out a frustrated sigh and stretched her legs forward. "I want to leave this damn company ~so badly~ but I just can't do anything to leave Vorak..."

"It's not like you'd be leaving him for life--" Cid looked over and caught a very disapproving glare from Lilly, causing him to immediately correct his stance. "But I bet I wouldn't know how that feels so I'll just shut up. So, what? You just plan on taking all the hits while your brother gets what he wants out of life?"

"A part of me doesn't want that... but yeah, I'm fine with it."

"No, you aren't. Vorak won't ever quit if things are going great for him, right?" Cid crawled over and sat next to Lilly with his back against the passenger seat. "So maybe we can work to make life better for you instead."

"What do you mean?" Lilly looked down and tried to no avail to adjust the see-through areas exposing her nipples to her friend. "I... I don't want to do anything to jeopardize Vorak's job."

"Well you just got sexually harassed, Lilly. I can't let that happen to a friend and not do something about it." Cid reached out and took one of Lilly's paws with his own. "You don't need to sink the boat, just rock it enough to be noticed. Then when everyone's lost their balance you can ~do what you want~."

"Wait..." Lilly noticeably began to tremble again as the thought of betraying her brother washed over her. "What are you proposing?"

"You don't have to do much." Cid took off his tie clip and snapped it onto Lily's bra strap. "For starters you can wear this. It already recorded what happened between you and Frank."

"You mean... act like a spy?"

"More or less. I want you to help gather evidence. Maybe even act as a witness if you're up to it." Cid tapped the button on the backside and then tapped it again. "See, easy to use. And if we get enough substantial evidence we can come up with a game plan."

Lilly took the clip off her bra and gave it a more thorough inspection. "Which would mean legal action, and would mean I couldn't work here after that. Cid..."

"No, not exactly." Cid slowly breathed a long puff of air while he thought things through. "I need time to work out the details, but I won't let that happen. Might have to get creative... bend a few laws... But if we need to, we'll abandon the plan. You always come first."

"But... there's no harm in just collecting evidence. I think I could do that."

"You really sure? I feel bad letting it just happen." The meerkat sat forward and rubbed his paws behind his head. "You need to go back into the line of fire for this to work. Doesn't make me feel like too good a friend doing that to you."

"If you keep splitting your bonuses and buying me dinner like you've been doing..." Lilly somewhat surprisingly pressed forward as well and slumped sideways against Cid. "...I just might forgive you. You're a really nice guy, Cid."

"Oh... Thanks." Cid squirmed around a bit, the new position making him slightly uncomfortable. "Lilly, about that... I'm not--"

Suddenly Lilith's paw reached down and cupped Cid's groin, sending a scowl to her face when she didn't find what she expected. "Really? You're not even hard? Fuck, I was hoping..." She slid away from Cid and slumped against the driver's seat in defeat. "It's 'cause I'm a splice, isn't it? I guess it's hard to be attracted to a drake with fur, huh?"

"Lilly, that's not it." Cid reached over and forced her to look his way, then grumbled as his voice adjusted to something softer in tone. "I'm not who you think I am. Not in one way, at least."

"Aww... Don't try to make it sound like your fault..."

Cid rolled his eyes and reached for his belt, quickly unfastening it and moving on to his zipper. "Just shut up about that. You're beautiful." Once the zipper was undone he slid down his pants and lifted his shirt, revealing the distinct lack of male genitalia. "My real name's Sydney, Lilly. I've only been pretending to be a man."

Lilith reached out and touched the bottom of Sydney's panties as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing without physical confirmation. "Oh, s-sorry... So you were always... a girl? Like, that's not from an operation or anything?"

"Been one all my life. I've kind of always wanted to admit that, too." Sydney slumped down next to the fluff drake and sighed in relief. "But the way this company works, I just can't declare I'm a woman. When I was still in school I joined without the disguise and things didn't turn out so well."

"Wait, so you went through all this shit yourself?"

"Yeah. And trust me when I said I'd have quit sooner than you. But that's different now." Sydney latched onto Lilly's shoulder and lightly hugged her. "I might have been able to make a difference with some help. That's why I think we should try to make your time here better where I couldn't."

"That's..." Lilly rolled to her side a bit and met Sydney's eyes with her own. "You're a good friend, Cid. Uh, Sydney. Sorry."

Sydney chuckled and playfully kissed Lilly's shoulder. "Don't worry about it. Just focus on doing your best and remember to record anything that happens to you. I should probably get my equipment and get going though. Frank'll be waiting on me soon."

"But... can't you stay just a little longer?" Lilly once again trailed a paw to Sydney's panties, but this time slipped her paw beneath the front lip. "I trust you, Sydney... And I need some help with this."

"I should probably leave in another few minutes..." Sydney went wide-eyed as Lilith pulled her own panties down a bit, revealing a twin set of pussies joined at a similarly split pair of prehensile clits. She then guided Sydney's paw to touch her sopping wet crotch, but didn't force any more than that. "Uh... I'm not sure if we should... I mean, you really need a guy for that, and your heat makes you think differently--"

Lilly quickly craned her neck forward and stole a short but sweet kiss from Sydney's lips. "Those guys don't even know the difference between a period and a girl's heat. I'd rather someone that really ~understands~ a woman."

Sydney's paw slid up and down Lilith's lower lips, two of her fingers slipping inside to elicit a moan. "If that's what you really want. I'm not one to leave a friend in need."

"Ooh... That's nice..." With a giggle Lilly shifted so she could press a few of her digits into Sydney's soft petals as well, both girls very quickly getting into the mood. "I've never... Well, you know I'm a virgin. At least we both get to admit something."

"Just don't think too hard about it and you'll be fine. JLet me do all the work."

"No... I want to get you off too." Lilly carefully worked another of her large fingers into Sydney and gave her another kiss. "I want to say thanks for cheering me up."

Sidney dove in for another kiss and brought her other paw up to snake beneath Lilly's bra. "Mmm... You're welcome."

Sydney smiled and gasped as Lilith curled her fingers inside of her. She returned the favor by exploring her choices and hooking her two remaining digits into Lilly's unattended slit. The drake hunched forward with a moan at that, the ends of her clits actually coiling around Sydney's fingers like small, fleshy tails. Lilly went in for another sensual kiss and ground her claws into the roof of Sydney's tight love tunnel, which led Sydney herself to grind her hips onto the drake's paw.

"Ah... Like that..." Sydney hissed and squeaked out a few light moans as she drove herself forward onto her lover's paw. "I'm... getting close..." She eventually halted her grinding and repositioned herself, kneeling over Lilith's thigh and nudging her own paw with one of her knees. "Here... This should be better..."

"Oh! I like ~this~." Lilly relaxed more and allowed Sydney to do most of the hard work, rocking her hips forward and shoving her knee into her paw and thusly Lilly's drooling pussies. "I... I think..."

"Mmm... Don't hold back." Sydney ducked her head down and gave one of Lilly's exposed nipples a suckle. "I know I won't."

Lilith leaned her head back and gave Sydney better access to her tits, the added sensation bringing her on the fast track to her peak. She quivered a few times just prior to going over the edge, then crashed over that barrier hard with incessant trembling. Sydney wasn't much too far behind, rocking and gyrating her hips so that her clit ground harshly into Lilly's paw and leg. Then she suddenly stiffened up, her mouth no longer suckling on the drake's breasts but tensing and biting just hard enough to leave light marks around her nipples.

"Ah... fuck..." Lilly loosened up as she regained her senses, then began to cradle and pet Sydney as she came down from her own high. "That was... exactly what I needed. Thanks, Sydney."

"I'd say 'my pleasure' but..." Sydney started laughing at her lighthearted joke, which Lilly joined in on after removing her paw from Sydney's crotch. "It really was fun though, wasn't it?"

"You're damn right it was." Lilith hissed in delight as Sydney removed her own paws and then herself as she began dressing herself by the passenger seat. "It's probably my heat talking, but I wish you didn't have to scuttle off."

"Yeah, I like to cuddle myself." Sydney finally worked her slacks over her waist and fumbled with the belt. "I don't know what I'd do if Frank sent anyone down to check on--!!"

Suddenly the side door slid open and Vorak ripped Sydney out of the van by her shirt. "I had a fucking feeling..."

"Shit, Vorak?!" Lilly scrambled to cover herself whilst still protesting. "Don't do anything, bro. I started it."

"No, I wanted it too. I'm--" Sydney suddenly heard herself speaking normally and corrected her voice to a more manly state. "I'm at fault, and you deserve to know."

Vorak slammed the door shut and shoved Sydney against the side of the van. "At least you're man enough to admit that. Good thing I like you too, Cid. You get to keep your arms for now."

"Wh-What?"

"I never thought my sister would find a good mate. Just don't break her heart or I won't be kidding about ripping your arms out."

Sydney looked into the grinning drake's eyes as he slowly set her down, her own confused look slowly morphing to match his. "I'm glad you approve. What's with the act though?"

"Just keeping Lilly on her toes. She's ~apparently~ slacking at work. Besides, figured I needed a good excuse for her not to hit me after seeing her goodies." He tapped Sydney's radio before heading back to the freight elevator. "You didn't respond on your radio though. Frank sent me to check. Now I'm glad he chose ~me~. Come on, VIP needs you for something."

"Yeah, about that... I actually need a few things from the van..."

"Hey, I don't mind if you see her naked, ya' lucky son of a bitch. Just don't go on getting into her pants during a job again, alright?"

"Right." Sydney spun around and opened the side door so she could quickly grab her equipment. "Sorry, Lilly. Work beckons. We'll talk later, right? You deserve a nice dinner after today."

"Y-Yeah..." Just as Sydney started to pull the equipment out the door Lilith stopped her with a tug of her sleeve. "Maybe... we could see a movie too? If it's not too weird and all..."

Sydney nodded and gave Lilly's paw a kiss. "Sure. I'll give it a try. Should be fun at the very least." She slowly shut the door, a wide smile painting over the meerkat's muzzle as she heard Lilith squeal in happiness through the sheet metal of the van. "Yeah, I'm happy for you too, Lilly."

As she rejoined Vorak by the elevator and closed the safety gate, Vorak slapped the button for the proper sky lobby and crossed his arms with a snicker. "So what'd ya go for? Left or right?"

"Huh?" Sydney tucked her shirt into her waistband as she thought about it but froze as she finally point of the erotic question. "Uh... both?"

"One pussy not enough, eh? Felt like double dippin'?" The fluff drake slapped his large paw into Sydney's back hard enough to make a dull thud. "Honorary drake material right there! You might not have two pricks but you got a lotta balls, man."

"Just trying to make your sister happy, Vorak." The meerkat gave the best counter-slap she could to Vorak's own shoulder. "She really means a lot to me, you know."

"Gods, man. That's a bit too touchy-feely. Takes the buzz right out this job." Vorak reached for the safety gate as they reached their floor and shoved it to the side like it was made of cardboard. "Don't need you gettin' all girly on me neither. Game faces, remember?"

"Oh... That's as girly as I'll get. Don't worry." Sydney finished fixing herself up and worked her headphone back into her ear as she exited the elevator. "I've got a good game face."

~ - ~ - ~

"I'm not sure I can go through with this..."

"Lilly... Uh, hold up..." Sydney led Lilith into the head office of Paladin Security Agency and stopped near the receptionist behind the front desk. "Sarah, right? I called an hour ago for an appointment to see Mister Boschman."

"Hmm... Well you've got an ID so..." The white rabbit zapped her fingers across her keyboard and then took a few seconds to parse the information displayed on her computer screen. "Ah, Cid and Lilith. And this was urgent, you said? Mister Boschman has a full plate today and the only reason I put you on his list was because of that..."

"Yes, and thank you for that. I'd rather not discuss this with anyone else, but we've come across a potential legal situation that might threaten the company."

"Oh. Well in that case, it'll only be a minute." Sarah went back to typing on her keyboard and then checked the status of the phone lines. "Please, have a seat and I'll let you know when Mister Boschman is ready."

"Uh, Cid?..."

Sydney took Lilly over to a small row of seats and guided her down into one. "I know, Lilly. Don't worry, I'll do all the talking. It'll be quick and easy. Trust me."

"I gave you my heart for half a year, Cid. You know I trust you." The fluff drake slumped in her seat and begged for Sydney to fill the space beside her. "But you're my best friend. You know how I feel about this. What if it backfires and Vorak--?"

"Nothing will happen to your brother." Sydney sat down and threw her arm around Lilly's shoulders. "Don't think that I still have a grudge with him. He was pissed when we broke up, but you know he likes how we've stayed friends. As long as he's thinking about what's best for you, I can't fault him for laying me out flat. And I most certainly won't try to get revenge for that, especially if you'd be in the crossfire."

"Cid..." Lilith leaned over and gave the meerkat a kiss on the forehead. "I'll do this if you think it's right. I'm just not... thinking straight today. You know?"

"It's perfectly understandable with what you've just been th--"

"Cid?" Sarah donned an almost apologetic expression as she juggled her phone in the small of her neck. "Mister Boschman is ready to see you, but he wants to speak with you alone. I can't really explain why but..."

"No, it's alright." Sydney stood up, but leaned forward to whisper to Lilly. "He's got a reputation for refusing to talk to women under him. It might be better this way, especially if you're nervous."

"It's fine. Just go." Lilly pulled Sydney down by her tie and stole away another, more passionate kiss. "Just a bit of the old me to keep with you... for luck."

"Th-Thanks..." The meerkat touched her paw to her lips for a moment before looking back to the bunny behind the desk. "He's this way?"

"The big doors at the end, yes."

Sydney slowly walked to the two large, wooden doors as she rolled a trinket through her fingers, the only thought in her mind being that the entire place seemed old-fashioned and elaborate for a modern office. She passed through one of the heavy doors and shut it behind her as gently as she could manage, yet the strong build still managed to make a loud clack as it closed. "Oh... I didn't mean to..."

"Ah, Cid. Nice to finally meet you." A brass riveted leather office chair slowly spun around to reveal the source of the deep, ragged voice--an elder purebred doberman that happened to be Sydney's boss. "I've been tracking your progress for a while now. You've got a good head and a heavy set of balls to back it. Remind me of myself in a few ways."

"Thank you, sir." Sydney found a similar chair, though stationary and shorter in build, and took a seat when she was offered. "I've got a lot of respect for the work we do here at Paladin. It's a fine company, sir."

"Such a formal guy, aren't you? So pride ~and~ respect then." The doberman reached for a cigar in a fine wooden case and then offered one to Sydney only to be waved away. "I'm glad you came to me for whatever it is that's endangering my agency. So, you said it was urgent?"

"Yes, sir. It's regarding something I didn't think you'd want to hit the public."

"Oh, really? And people say there's no such thing as loyalty these days." Boschman flicked an ornately engraved lighter and fired up his cigar. "Good to see there's real men still left on this Earth. So--"

"And don't you dare think you're one of them. That's ~exactly~ the problem." Sydney looked back to the thick doors and sighed as she prayed they were sound absorbent. "You just praised me as the best thing since sliced bread while a woman that's a damn ~hero~ to me gets told to sit in the corner."

"And just who the hell do you think you are, you ungrateful--?!"

"Just shut up and listen to me carefully, you sexist buffoon." Sydney stood up, leaned over the desk, and slammed her paws in front of the petrified old man. Then in what could be best described as a growl, she corrected her voice to its more naturally soft state. "I'm a woman. And for once in your life it would be in everyone's best interest if you took every single thing I say as gospel."

"A woman?!" Boschman immediately became infuriated and reached for a panic switch under his desk, but Sydney stabbed a thumb drive between his fingers hard enough to chip the mahogany of his desk. "What the hell do you want?!"

"This drive contains just over a year's worth of hard video and audio footage." The meerkat flicked the drive down and gave the doberman back control of his desk. "Lilith and I have been recording evidence of gender bias, sexism, and sexual harassment within this company. Sadly, last night we had the unfortunate opportunity to almost add rape to that list if I hadn't intervened."

"And... how is that any of my concern? Take the guy to court."

"Because we have evidence of many of these events being witnessed by multiple individuals in the agency and not one caring to reprimand those involved." Sydney cringed as she remembered why she and Lilith decided to act instead of report for duty that morning, as well as a night full of crying. "This company directly supports sexist activity against women and we've got more than enough to prove it. The real question is where to go from here."

"So let me guess..." The doberman grunted and chewed on his cigar stem. "You're one of those hippie feminists and you want me to change things? Or is this just to get your panties wet before you take it to the police?"

"Why would I do just that when I could show this to your wife. Your daughter. Your granddaughter." Sydney's boss practically snorted at the prospect, but seemed more willing to listen at the very least. "But I won't, not if we can find another solution."

"I'm not one to respond well to blackmail, little lady."

"Which is why I'm not going to propose that, not exactly anyway." Sydney sat back down in her chair and adjusted her tie before pulling out yet another thumb drive. "We have a pawful of copies and Lilith is willing to testify on our behalf, just so the situation is clear. So now that my chips are on the table, how about some good old-fashioned business?"

"Business?" Boschman lost his taste for the smoke of his cigar and placed it in an ashtray to burn itself out. "No harm in listening, I suppose. So 'Cid'--if that's even your real name--"

"Don't get cocky. Cid will do just fine."

"Alright, Cid. What else could you ever offer a man like me to make me roll over and play dead?"

Sydney pressed her claw tips together just in front of her muzzle as she proposed her deal. "Well, Mister Boschman... You're getting up in your years. You've got grandchildren you never see. This business and sleep are pretty much your schedule. Your wife is unsatisfied and has thought of leaving you. I know all of this because my specialty in this very agency is manipulating identity profiles and you're not exactly secretive."

"So now you're spying on me too." Boschman spun around and started pouring himself a glass of aged Highlands whisky, continuing the conversation as he worked. "I still don't see where I'm supposed to help you. You realize I could easily just make this public myself. You'll be shit out of luck and I can still recover."

"You sound so sure about that, don't you?" Sydney took the opportunity to grab a sheet of the doberman's personal stationary and one of his fountain pens, then placed them so that they'd be in front of him when he turned back. "But like I said, you're getting old. Hard to teach an old dog new tricks, that's the saying right?"

Boschman swiveled back around and took a large sip of his drink when he saw the blank paper in front of him. "So what's this all about then? I don't like riddles and rhymes."

"You're going to retire. You're going to gracefully back out of the company and take a huge paycheck with you. You'll forfeit just enough stocks that you're no longer in control, and the rest are yours to trade as you see fit. The agency will flourish in your absence and will mark your legacy. You'll even finally have all the time in the world for your dear family." Sydney nudged the pen forward with a smirk. "And you'll achieve all that by signing the company over to me--right here, right now."

The doberman took another sip of his drink and then set it down, only to stare into Sydney's eyes for a pawful of extremely tense seconds. "How can I be sure you'll keep your word?"

"Like I said before, I have the highest respect for what we do here at Paladin Security. I want to make our work better, maybe make us the greatest private security firm out there." The meerkat stared right back for a moment before snagging the tumbler of whisky and finishing it off herself. "And like you said yourself, I'm a lot like you. I'd like to think without the worse parts though. You know damn well that if I were actually a man I'd have been in your pool of choices for a successor anyway. So why not make it official, and get some extra goodies for yourself while you're at it? I win. You win. Lilith wins. Everyone gets a victory."

"Hmm... That was a twenty dollar glass of scotch you just stole." Boschman took his fountain pen and began writing something down on the sheet of fine parchment. "At the very least, I can respect a woman with good taste."

Sydney looked down as the doberman signed the paper and then turned it her way. "Memo to the board... Beginning next week... transfer majority of shares to Cid Karidan... Cid is to become my successor as I declare my immediate retirement." She slid her eyes up to meet the doberman's own respectful gaze, then excitedly extended her arm for a shake to seal the deal. "Glad to do business with you, Mister Boschman. I'll do Paladin proud."

"I know you will, Cid. You've got the same passion in your eyes that I had when I founded this agency." Boschman stood up and finalized the shake with his own paw. "Just take that to my secretary out front and she'll send it off. Oh, and if we're going to act like old friends, at least call me Mitchel."

Sydney nodded as she picked up the memo and placed it into her breast pocket. "Then I guess you can call me Sydney, in private at least."

"...'Sydney'..." Mitch quirked his head as he remembered the name. "That Sydney Karidan from a few years ago... You're that same girl that quit because her whole team got promoted without her, aren't you?"

Sydney turned the doorknob but held the door shut so she could discretely answer. "The very same."

"Well played, little lady." Mitch picked up his tumbler and went to refill it with a fresh pour of whisky. "Very well played."

~ - Epilogue - ~

"So Lilly," asked Sydney as she fiddled with a few case reports on her newly-inherited desk, "how's the new team working out?"

"They're great. Everyone listens to me well enough since I let them have a little autonomy at their posts." Lilith crossed her legs over the corner of the desk as she sat in one of the guest chairs. "It's so much better not having to take any of Frank's shit for once. And the new girl's having a ~much~ better time than I did. Loving the new policies, by the way."

"Exactly what I like to hear."

"So, why'd you decide to keep the office like this? I thought you wanted to make it more modern."

Sydney shook her head and looked up from her light reading. "Just decided on a bit of respect where respect was due. Besides, it helps keep up the image that I'm a guy."

"Well I think it's pretty sexy." The fluff drake dropped her legs and stood up, leaning forward so Sydney could get a decent view of her cleavage now that more feminine attire was allowed. "You know, I've always wanted to have wild sex in an office. Wha'dya' say we have a romp for old time's sake? There's no jobs today."

"Old time's sake, huh? I seem to remember us not giving up the sex after we broke up anyway." The phone lit up and silently beeped, giving Sydney the perfect excuse to change the subject. "One second. Hello? Sarah?"

"I've got a new client on the line, Cid. He says he wants to speak with the person in charge before he takes out a contract. I know you're more open than Mister Boschman was so..."

"That's fine, Sarah. Hook him up." The meerkat fought off an onslaught of cleavage in her face with a giggle as the phone line connected. "Hello? Cid Karidan speaking."

"You're 'Cid', huh? I thought it was 'Sydney'. Your voice admits that much anyway."

"Who is this? What do you want?"

"I need some protection while I'm finishing up some sensitive construction work. It's pretty dangerous, but I've got a few top picks I'd like to have for the job." The phone went more or less silent, save for what sounded like the man mumbling some reminders to jog his memory. "I believe you have a Vorak and Lilith Ichor working for you, yes?"

Sydney batted away Lilly's next attempt to be playful and frowned so she'd get the point. "Y-Yeah. They're my two best team leaders."

"Good. I'd need a few teams and those two've been recommended to me. I also hear that you're quite the expert on false identities. Would you happen to still do field work?"

"I hate sitting in an office all day, if that's good enough."

"Superb. So how do you feel about working in zero gravity?"

"What kind of joke is this?" Sydney waved away a concerned look from Lilly with a paw and calmly refocused her approach to the strange call. "I'm not answering another question until you tell me who you are."

"Well then... You can call me Carbon."
