Wet Dog
#8 of October
Hey the site's back. Woo. Naturally, it would have to go down the instant I finally got a new story done, haha.
On the plus side, I already got started on the next chapter of this, which, if all goes well, won't take too long (Not a guarantee)
So that's about it, life's still an unending slog, but I'm finding time for stuff! Now, to get back to writing. I hope everyone enjoys!
Axel, Gensa, and Sirius Created By and Belong to SkyWing

Standard boiler plate: This is fantasy, not real. Simple rule of thumb, do not do things to people without their consent in real life. That is bad. No more to say there than that.

"M-me?" Vydra said, eyes widening as he pointed to his chest. "Are you sure?"
"DID I STUTTER?" The smart-watch acting as the oracle stone's body gave a burst of static attempting to simulate an indignant sigh. "THAT'S WHAT I SAID. VYDRA. AXEL. MERRIAC, TEXAS. 7PM. TWO DAYS FROM NOW. GOT IT?" With a flicker, the watch's screen updated to show that same information, plus a specific address.
"Y-yes, but... why me?"
"SORRY. I'VE SAID ALL I'M GOING TO SAY. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT." The screen cleared itself. "AND I HOPE YOU WROTE THE ADDRESS DOWN BECAUSE I'M NOT SAYING IT A THIRD TIME, AND I'M NOT GOING WITH YOU."
"I got it, yeah," Axel said, having just finished recording the location on a shopping list snatched out of Gensa's hand. Pocketing the repurposed list, ignoring the annoyed whine from the tanuki, he put a hand on Vydra's shoulder. "It's fine, no one's going to force you to go if you don't want to." He turned back to the watch sitting atop its little pedestal. "Is there anyone else I can take? Or just go in alone?"
"IF THAT WERE AN OPTION." The oracle paused for a moment. "I WOULD HAVE SAID THAT FROM THE START. EITHER TAKE VYDRA OR DON'T GO. THAT'S ALL."
The room went totally silent. Wildly twitching his whiskers all the while, Vydra took a solid minute to think it all over. "...Alright... I'll go," he eventually said, his expression brightening slightly. "I'm always happy to help my friends!" He pointed at Sirius, who had been obliviously watching a butterfly fluttering outside the window ever since the oracle had summoned them. "Is it okay if Sirius comes along too?" The massive wolf's ears swiveled toward the otter, though his gaze remained fixated on the colorful bug.
Another burst of static issued forth from the oracle. "AS LONG AS HE STAYS OUT OF THE ACTUAL LOCATION UNTIL IT'S ALL CLEAR, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT."
Feeling somewhat left out, Matty sidled up to the watch's pedestal. "How about me? Can I go too?"
"NO."
"...no?...just no?..."
"YES."
"...yes I should go?..."
"NO. AND AS FUN AS THAT LITTLE EXCHANGE WAS, I'M ENDING IT NOW. HERE, I'LL SUM IT UP FOR YOU. YOU, SPECIFICALLY, MUST REMAIN HERE FOR TOMORROW. AND NOW I'M DONE. HAVE A NICE DAY."
Before Matty could try to get another word in, the oracle gave a melodic jingle, followed by a rhythmic series of static bursts, all accompanied by a string of 'Z's displayed on the screen. Shrugging to himself, he turned to face Axel and Vydra. "Well, guess I'm staying. If nothing else, at least I can call ahead and get my jet ready for you since you're going halfway across the country."
"Oh, that won't be necessary," Axel said, grinning as the black fox curiously raised an eyebrow. "I've been waiting for a good opportunity to show this off, come on outside!" He sprinted through the mansion, darting out a rear exit into an open field, soon followed by the rest of the assembled group. Once they were a safe distance away from the building, he pulled out his wallet, removing a thin black and gold card. Nonchalantly flicking his wrist, he tossed the card into the air. As it spiraled away, instead of simply falling to the ground, it began unfolding itself like a piece of origami. With each progressive fold the card grew larger, taking on a curved shape, some parts along the outside thickening and solidifying into sturdy wooden planks. By the time the unfolding and reshaping ceased, something akin to a wooden medieval era warship, sails and all, was hovering in front of them. The wood forming the main part of the ship was decorated with black and gold accents with the name 'Alister' artfully painted in red toward the front of the bow.
Though he didn't entirely understand what he had just witnessed, Vydra was impressed, cheerfully applauding the show.
Matty was stunned into total silence, not even once having considered the existence a magical airship.
"Nice, isn't it?" Axel said, sweeping a hand toward the ship. "One-of-a-kind, so far as anyone knows. I found it hidden away during a hunt some years back and ever since it's been my main mode of transportation." He gave a flippant wave of his hand. "Technically, I'm supposed to hand over any new artifacts to the family to be cataloged and archived for when they're needed. In this one instance I decided to be a little greedy," he said, snickering mischievously to himself. "It's fast, though not nearly as fast as your jet. Of course, not having to deal with airports helps make up a bit of the difference. Especially when transporting 'interesting' cargo. If time isn't a factor, it's the perfect way to discreetly get wherever you need to go!"
"Discreetly?" Matty asked, incredulously chuckling as he scratching his head. "A gigantic boat floating through the air is discreet?"
Snapping his fingers, Axel caused the ship to shimmer, quickly fading out of sight. "It does have a few other neat little tricks."
"It goes invisible? Okay, yeah, that is AMAZ-" Matty's exuberant cheer abruptly halted as he was struck by a possible downside to a hulking, invisible obstacle floating through the skies. "Wait, isn't that a little, I dunno, dangerous? Does it have radar or something so you can avoid..." He clapped his hands together, making an overexaggerated exploding noise, which amounted to an awkward raspberry, drenching Gensa with flecks of spittle.
"Nah, that's not a problem. It doesn't go invisible. Or, rather, it doesn't JUST go invisible. Not exactly. It's... hm. It's more like it's just not there anymore. So far as I've been able to figure out, the ship's a manifested pocket dimension given physical form by the user's imagination. It can fade in and out of reality as needed."
Furrowing his brow, Matty inquisitively tilted his head at the bat.
Axel shrugged. "I'm not sure I can explain it better than that. The upshot is that when it fades, nothing on the outside can see or touch it. To anyone aboard, nothing seems out of the ordinary. Other than anything electrical getting fried if you try to use it, that is. If you can find the entrance and open it, you can still get in and out even when the ship is faded. So long as no one's around to see you pop in and out of thin air, I mean." He chuckled softly. "Learned that the hard way. Luckily, it was in front of a someone that hit the sake a little too hard and thought they were hallucinating. So, what do you think?" Another snap of the black bat's fingers caused the ship to reappear, still hovering in the same spot as before. "Still amazing?"
Folding his ears back as he stared on, head tilted until it was almost at a right angle, Matty was well past the point of being impressed. He clutched his hands to his chest and began to excitedly hop in place. "YES! That's the coolest thing ever! Maybe! I don't know! That sword grandpa used was definitely up there. Our rings too. But this is still AWESOME! I know I gotta stay, but can I look around it? Please please please!?!"
"Help yourself! We should-" was all Axel could say before the fox took off, faceplanting on the wet grass before leaping onto the extended gangplank and running inside. He turned toward Vydra, who continued to silently smile, and Sirius, who had dropped to all fours in order to watch an anthill. "We should get some supplies and gear packed for a few days. Meet back here in an hour?"
Vydra nodded in agreement, grabbing the wolf's hand and heading back inside to get ready.

Having finished carrying their luggage aboard the Alister, Vydra, Sirius, and Axel stood at the ship's railing, ready to depart. Axel was wearing a loose, comfortable tank top and khaki shorts for the trip, while Sirius wore only a pair of black cargo shorts, perfectly matching his fur. The muscular wolf was barechested, by and large preferring to go shirtless whenever possible. Vydra had changed into a simple lime-green t-shirt - the neckline of which only partially covered his black, pentagram crested collar - along with a pair of shiny purple gym shorts.
Together they waved down to Matty and Gensa, who happily waved back, wishing them luck on their hunt. Ready to get things moving, Axel gestured upward, triggering the ship both to take off, and to fade into the ether.
"Wow..." Matty mumbled, turning to walk back inside the mansion, the tanuki following close behind. "So, Gensa, you wanted to do some shopping, right? Need a ride to the supermarket?"
"Oh, that'd be nice, thank you!" the tanuki happily replied.
"You mind if we hit a few other shops? I wanted to grab a DVD set that just came out today."
"That's fine, I don't have much else to do today."
"Cool, let's go," Matty said. Thinking for a moment, he added, "I'd be willing to bet we can think of a way few more ways to keep ourselves busy once we get back."
Sharing a smile, the duo headed to the garage to run their errands.
Meanwhile, back on board the ship, things had quickly erupted into chaos. Within seconds of liftoff, as Vydra watched the ground grow further and further away, he discovered a heretofore unknown primordial terror of heights. Initially he held completely still, staring at the vanishing mansion with ever-widening eyes. After giving a few frightened stutters, he backed away from the railing, then took off into a full sprint.
Before Sirius and Axel even realized what was happening, the otter was frantically bolting from place to place, crashing into walls and boxes while shrieking like a madman. They could only stare as he worked himself into a frenzy, scrambling in a wild panic until he found his way back to the stairs, disappearing below deck.
"I got it!" Sirius eventually said, shaking off his confusion to rush off after the frantic creature, leaving Axel to set the ship's navigation. Owing to his powerful nose, he easily followed Vydra's trail of palpable fear to a small supply closet. When he opened the door, the little otter was sitting in the dark, hugging a mop, nervously rocking back and forth. Being far too big to climb inside alongside his partner, Sirius choose instead to sit in the doorway, placing a reassuring hand on the hyperventilating otter's back.
The simple gesture had a profound calming effect, and after several minutes sitting together, Vydra finally felt relaxed enough to stand up. Releasing his grip on the mop, letting it clatter against the wall, he shakily rose to his footpaws, brushing off the rear of his shorts and the underside of his tail.
"You okay now?" Sirius asked, climbing upright alongside the otter.
"Yes... I'm sorry, I've never been this high up before..." Vydra sheepishly looked away from the wolf, blushing heavily through his fur. "I didn't expect it to be so... well... high..."
"You get used to it after a while. You can always just stay below deck if it bothers you." Sirius's muzzle opened into a wide, exuberant smile. "Me? I love it up top! The wind and sun feel amazing!" He began panting and wringing his hands, his bushy tail whipping back and forth. "The wind in your face once you reach top speed is one of the best feelings ever!"
Vydra smiled, back, always put at ease when his powerful, masculine wolf acted like a puppy. "Thanks, but I think I'd rather stay down here for now. Don't let me stop you, though! I'd actually like to explore a bit. If that's alright, I mean!"
"Go ahead! It's all yours! Have fun! Just shout if you need anything!" Though Sirius was still reluctant to leave the otter alone, the call of the wind blowing up above was too much for him to resist. He sprinted up the stairs, moments later he popped his head back into view, shouting "Love you!"
"Love you too," Vydra replied, chuckling as the wolf disappeared outside once more. Letting out a small sigh, he slouched back against the wall and took a look at his surroundings. The ship's lower deck was essentially a single long hallway, both walls lined by a series of closed, numbered doors. One end of the hallway was capped by the stairs leading up to the deck, while the other was capped by a set of stairs leading outside to the gangplank. Hanging on the walls between each pair of doors, ornate wall sconces provided some internal lighting.
To his surprise, the sconces were lit not by actual fire, but by ghostly, ever-burning lavender flames. They were cold to the touch, likely powered by whatever dimensional magic allowed the ship to exist in the first place.
Picking a door at random, he peeked inside to find a windowless quarters, lightly furnished with a bed, desk, bookshelf, and a few more lighting sconces. Most significantly, at least to Vydra, the room had a thick layer of dust coating every square inch of it. It wasn't clear when this specific room had last been occupied, but that was enough to get the industrious otter to squeal with glee. He bolted back to the supply closet, retrieving a large feather duster, and eagerly proceeded to do some cleaning.
By the time Axel wandered into the disused room to check on his guest, the otter had just finished remaking the bed after removing the sheets to beat out the accumulated dust. He was getting ready to move on to mopping, using the end of one of his water tentacles to fill a bucket, when he noticed the bat spying from the doorway.
"Come on, Vydra, you're a guest!" Axel said, smirking slightly as he strolled into the room, taking a seat on the freshly made bed. "Think of this as a vacation, you should be relaxing!"
"Oh, I don't mind! I like getting to make myself useful! I would have washed the sheets too, but you don't seem to have a washing machine like Mr. Matty does."
"Yeah... I had a water tank and a few basic necessities added. That's about it. Like I said before, there's something about the ship that disagrees with electronics. I figure that's why the oracle asked to be left behind, it didn't want its new circuitry to get fried when we fade." Axel shrugged. "Not a big deal. There's a washroom somewhere with some old-school washbasins and the like. I generally prefer to use laundromats when traveling."
"Washbasins? That sounds fun! I can't remember the last time I hand washed clothes! I'll take a look when I'm done here!"
"Actually, I have a better idea, if you're interested. Might help you keep your mind off things. I've been curious about that 'tentacle trick' of yours since we met." Spreading his legs, Axel idly rubbed at the bulge showing through the crotch of his shorts. "Sirius won't stop talking about it. Matty's painted quite the picture too." A sly smile crossed the bat's muzzle. "I don't suppose you'd be willing to let me have a turn, would you?"
"Oh!" Vydra giggled into his hand. "I don't mind at all! They're fully charged now, I'm happy to show them to you!" Pulling off his shirt, fully exposing the line of four blue circles running the length of each arm, he propped the mop up against the wall and walked to the center of the room. He placed his palms together and closed his eyes. After several seconds of concentration, he reopened them, showing that they had changed to a solid, glowing, deep blue color. A set of eight watery tentacles emerged from the glowing circular portals on his arms, each one standing upright with a downward arc, somewhat giving him the appearance of a spider. A faint blue mist filled the air surrounding him. "Ready?"
"Absolutely." Axel licked his lips as he watched all eight of the playfully swaying semisolid appendages approach his spot on the bed. They deftly undressed him, removing his sandals, shorts, tank top, and finally underwear, leaving him totally nude. Before the tentacle-imp could really get started, Axel held up a hand. "One sec, can't believe I almost forgot!" Placing his thumb and index finger to his lips, he gave a loud whistle, then grinned back at the otter. "Alright, NOW I'm ready."
Beginning to lose himself to his trance, Vydra didn't directly respond. He only wrapped one of his tentacles around the black bat's waist, lifting him vertically upright off the bed.
Just as a pair of slick, translucent tendrils approached the bat's face and rear, Sirius finally answering his summons, barreling into the room, excitedly panting. "What did-*gluk*" was all he managed to say. The instant he opened his mouth, one of the idle tentacles shot forward, driving itself into the available orifice then thickening into a bulb, effectively gagging him. Though the half-naked wolf was initially startled, from previous experience he quickly pieced together what had happened. Eagerly dropping his shorts, exposing the rest of his body, he raised his arms. Another tendril swooped down, wrapping around his waist, lifting him into the air beside the bat.
With his friends now snared before him, Vydra, fully given over to his trance, was ready to get things moving. Raising his arms above his head in a sweeping arc, he sent one tentacle to gag the bat, just as he had with the wolf, then positioned another two just outside their tailholes. He held them completely still, not yet doing any penetrating, simply using the cool, slick tips to tease the clenching rings.
Both Sirius and Axel gave muffled laughs, squirming as their entrances were tickled and rubbed. In unison, their sheaths swelled, the bat's mushroom-head and the wolf's pointed tip beginning to emerge. Before they could reach down to play with their growing erections, the otter's final two tendrils wrapped around their arms, pinning them securely behind their backs.
Though Vydra's shorts were blatantly tented by his own fully erect prick, he made no attempt to service himself, focusing entirely on the others. Clenching his fists, he brought his arms down, forcing the teasing probes to lunge upward, the smooth, glistening lengths easily spearing deep inside the tight tailholes.
Axel closed his eyes and arched his back, shivering slightly as he let out a long, muffled moan. He made a few shallow thrusts of his hips, working his throbbing shaft to its full foot-long length, additionally causing his round, heavy balls to sway between his splayed legs. Though he was desperate to jerk off, with his arms held fast behind his back, there was little he could do about it. He moaned again, thrusting harder, wagging his impressively long dick while also attempting to fuck himself with the frustratingly stationary tentacle lodged in his ass.
Sirius howled as his rear was penetrated, loud enough to vibrate the room even with the thick obstruction stuffing his maw. His whole body writhed with delight as his insides were probed by one of those cool, slippery tendrils. The wolf's knotted prick reached its full ten inch length in mere seconds. In spite of his muscular frame and proud, dominant nature, he was decidedly submissive when it came to sex. After making Vydra's acquaintance, he discovered that there was nothing he enjoyed more than getting his tail stuffed and stretched by the much smaller otter. Something about standing over a foot taller than the one bending him over made things that much hotter for him. Like the bat at his side, he humped his hips, attempting to impale himself further on the intruding appendage.
Smiling widely as his vacant, blue eyes stared into the middle distance, Vydra began rhythmically moving all four of the penetrating tentacles, powerfully fucking his friends' throats and tailholes, making them both quiver with pure pleasure.
Sirius stopped moving his hips, trusting his mate do whatever he wanted. Closing his eyes, he howled once more, enjoying the feeling of the long probes pistoning in and out of his holes. A large bead of pre-cum was forming at the tip of his cock as it bobbed in the air. Wishing to do whatever he could to return the favor, he sucked hard on the tentacle in his mouth, swirling his tongue on its underside as he was relentlessly spit-roasted. From experience, he knew full well that the otter felt everything that happened to his artificial appendages. Hearing the occasional stifled giggle or moan from the otter as he sucked, Sirius could tell his efforts were appreciated.
Off to his side, Axel was completely losing his mind. A stream of pre-cum gushed from his cock as his rear was pounded, filled deeper than ever before. The repetitive pistoning may as well have been milking the squirming bat's prostate. Given his overly warm, partially demonic body temperature, the feeling of the relative iciness filling him at either end was indescribable. His eyes rolled back into his head as another much harder thrust drove even deeper than before. He could feel his balls drawing close to his body, on the verge of climaxing without anything touching ever touching his swaying cock, when without warning, everything stopped. He could only whine as the wonderful chilly fullness of his ass was gone, replaced only by some slimy residue left behind coating his backdoor.
Clasping his hands in front of his chest, Vydra positioned the oblivious wolf behind Axel, at no point ceasing to hammer away at either side. He carefully aimed the pointed cock-tip at the black bat's empty tailhole, then timed an especially hard thrust to slam the two together.
Sirius's eyes flew open as he felt his entire shaft, knot and all, get entirely buried inside his master's ass. Well stretched and thoroughly coated by slimy lube, the bat had no trouble taking him in the least. They were locked together, Sirius's chest resting against folded wings as they adjusted to their new position. Sirius didn't even need to move at all, the continued hammering into his tailhole forcing him to knot-fuck the well-prepared bat. He could do little more than shudder, splaying his toes, puffing out his tail, as he felt his climax building.
With one of his tentacles now freed, Vydra coiled it around Axel's cock, constricting itself along the length. It almost rippled as it massaged the twitching shaft, steadily jerking him off while the tip teasing along the rim of the piss slit. All at once, the bat was firmly pushed over the edge, crushing his ass down around Sirius's knot, clenching his toes and spreading his wings. The duo joined each other in a gagged howl as they peaked in unison, the wolf brutally slapping their hips together as their climaxes struck. Axel painted the wooden floor with a spray of thick, white seed, while his rectum was thoroughly coated by the wolf, who was wildly kicking at the air, caught in the throes of passion.
Once they both finished, the tentacles grew still, gently lowering them both to the bed before evaporating into vapor, fading into nothing. Sirius was panting heavily, looking as satisfied as ever with a wide, open-mouthed grin, his tongue lolling out its side. Axel looked almost like he was in shock, hazy from the new experience mixed with a mind-shattering orgasm.
Looking down at his mate, Sirius noticed that the otter's eyes had reverted to their normal color, though his shorts were still fully tented, a small, dark stain appearing at the tip. He crooked his finger at the otter, beckoning him to join them in bed, saying only, "I got it."
Happily bounding onto the bed, Vydra pulled his shorts off, letting his cock spring free. He blushed slightly, watching the wolf hungrily lick his chops.
Leaned his head down, Sirius easily took the short length into his muzzle, bobbing his head and sucking hard while the otter churred and moaned. He reached under the otter's tail, poking the tip of his thick index finger against the pink pucker, then pushed it in up to the first knuckle.
Letting out a cute little squeak, Vydra finally achieved his own release, sending several small spurts of cum into the eager wolf's maw. He slumped forward, far beyond exhausted by the day's events, and instantly fell asleep, filling the room the with sounds of gentle snoring.
Gulping down the salty load, Sirius smiled at his napping partner, once again feeling nothing short of grateful that they had been lucky enough to cross paths. Sighing contentedly, he rested his head on the otter's slightly rounded belly as he waited for his knot to go down.

The rest of the trip went by uneventfully, Vydra keeping himself busy by working on the heroic amount of cleaning required below deck. He was particularly fascinated by the archaic kitchen, joyfully using a large cauldron and some flames conjured by Sirius to cook a few noodle-based dishes for the group.
Axel mostly stayed on the upper decks, alternately spending time relaxing in the sun or napping while hanging upside-down in the shade, occasionally stopping to check navigation to make sure they were still on course.
Sirius, for the most part, stuck to his railing, leaning over the side as he enjoyed the wind in his face.
Before they knew it, they had reached their destination: an old abandoned gymnasium. Matty had been nice enough to check out the address back while they were packing, coming back with a few articles about the formerly popular business. Little was worth noting. At least up until the two owners were found murdered, floating face-down in the swimming pool. No solid suspects were ever found, and despite an attempt to keep the business going, all interest in the place quickly dried up. The gym folded and stood empty ever since, falling into disrepair, eventually developing a reputation as being haunted.
Without question, the dilapidated wreck was exactly the sort of place a demon would like to make its lair.
They wound up arriving several hours before the oracle's recommendation, so Axel commanded the ship to invisibly hover over the empty parking lot. He and Sirius kept their eyes out while they waited, looking for anything that might indicate why they were there. Aside from a pair of feral cats fighting over the contents of a nearby dumpster, nothing interesting made itself known. Vydra remained below deck, just as happy to get some last minute cleaning finished instead of dwelling on the reason he was there. Or why they had to leave Sirius behind. Still, from Matty's various adventures, it appeared that the oracle had its reasons for doing what it was doing, even if it made absolutely no sense.
"Hey Vydra!" Axel called out, causing the otter to tense up. "It's time, you ready?"
"Y-yeah..." Vydra meekly replied, trying in vain to look brave as the bat entered the room.
"If you're not feeling up to it, I'm not gonna force you to go in. Don't be afraid to say no."
"No, no, I'll go." The otter showed a stoic, if nervous, smile. "It'll be okay, I trust you."
"Don't forget Sirius is out here waiting, too." Patting the otter on his shoulder, Axel smiled back, helping him to feel just a tad better about the situation. "Well, if you're ready, we should get moving."
"Alright. Let's go."

If the outside of the gym was dilapidated, the inside was nothing short of an absolute disaster. What few pieces of exercise equipment that were left behind were reduced to nothing but heaps of rusted scrap. The walls were a mix of water damaged and mold-ridden, and the ceiling had more than a few large holes showing the mid-afternoon sky shining through. In many of the different rooms they checked, the holes were so bad that Axel didn't even have to bother with his lantern. The smell of mildew and rot was almost omnipresent. It was hard to believe that the place had only been abandoned for a year.
Despite the catastrophic level of disrepair, Axel and Vydra made quick work of inspecting the place from room to room. Rather, Axel made quick work of inspecting the place from room to room, while Vydra clinging to his side, staying no more than a foot away, using every bit of willpower he had to keep from screaming at every unexpected sound.
They had already made it most of the way through the building, finding nothing out of the ordinary, save for the advanced state of decay, when they approached the pool where the owners' bodies had been found. The ceiling was almost entirely missing, but aside from that, it appeared as empty as every other room.
Empty, aside from a small pile of shattered bones in the corner. There was no doubt in Axel's mind that they had just found the lair of whatever demon they were sent to find. And given the fact that, despite being in the middle of a drought, the pool was filled to the brim with crystal clear water, he didn't like the picture the evidence was beginning to paint.
"My, my, now there's a face I never expected to see again," a voice boomed from the pool. The water suddenly flowed upward, forming into a massive, cylindrical geyser. A shadow emerged from the bottom of the pool, following the flow up the center of the pillar, stopping just shy of the top. The shadow shimmered, coalescing into a distinct body, taking the form of a golden retriever. The dog was totally nude, with a lithe, slightly muscled swimmer's build, his whole body including a plump sheath and balls on full display. A head of long blond headfur floated behind him, fanning out due to the pillar's current. Using both arms to gesture to either side of his body, he caused top of the pillar to swell outward until he was completely cocooned inside a wide, rounded oval of pure shimmering water. "How long's it been, Axel? Ten years? Twenty?" he asked with a condescending sneer, clearly having no trouble speaking and breathing through his watery shield.
"Lysias," Axel said, staring daggers at the smug dog. "I'd say it's good to see you, but-"
"But you'd be lying. Right." The demonic golden retriever flipped over, hanging vertically upside-down at the pillar's center, glaring at the bat with glowing, crystal-blue eyes. "The feeling, of course, is mutual."
"I see you've been busy," Axel said, pointing in the direction of the bones, not taking his eyes off the dog for even a second. Reaching behind his back, he motioned for Vydra to take cover, the otter gladly slinking back toward the doors and into the shadows.
"Mm. Not really. The thing about making your lair in a supposedly haunted location nowadays is that your prey frequently comes to you. Urban explorers, right?" He laughed, the raw coldness and contempt chilling Vydra to the bone.
"So that was you that killed the owners? Just to make this into a lair?"
"I fed on them because I was hungry. Getting a nice new home out of it was really just a happy accident."
"Of course. In all those years since you escaped me, you never once tried to feed without killing, did you?"
"Oh, this again! Yeah, I did a few times, just out of curiosity. I was a lifeguard for a short while, actually, draining just enough to survive from anyone that touched my waters. Seemed like a huge waste, to be honest. I'm a kraken, one of the greatest hunters ever created! I'm not going to settle for table scraps when I can just as easily get a full meal-" He stopped to aggressively lick his lips. "-out of you."
"Even if you're committing murder to do it."
"Now, now, I believe murder only applies if I were to kill an equal, and you mortals are most assuredly not my equal. I know it must hurt to learn you're not even close to the top of the food chain anymore, but come on, it's just nature."
"You really haven't changed. No remorse at all."
Bursting into a fit of laughter, Lysias mimed wiping a tear from his eye. "I'm sorry, even after all these years you crack me up. Remorse FOR WHAT? The begging and pleading? All the innocent victims? Here's a secret, no matter how many times you keep harping on this nonsense, those victims aren't victims, they're food. Food may not WANT to be food, but you know what? It's still food! Hell, It's not like your populations are dwindling. Having my kind to thin out your numbers a bit is a good thing!" He swept his arms around in a circle. "Circle of life, Axel."
"I think that's all I needed to hear." Axel turned to his side, lowing into a fighting stance. "I'm not letting you get away this time."
"Aw, we're already done chatting?" Flipping upright once more, the dog raised his arms, causing a set of ten massive tentacles to emerge from the base of his pillar, giving the entire construct a vaguely squid-like appearance. "Fine by me. I wasn't in the mood for another lecture anyway." He grinned as he smashed one of the tentacles down on the bat's position, making him do a rolling leap to the side to avoid the impact.
Getting back to his feet, Axel launched himself into a wing-assisted leap. Holding his hand out, he attempted to get his ring close enough to the kraken's true body to weaken his control over water. He almost got close enough for the aura to take effect when another tentacle reached up and smacked him away.
"Come on, like I'm gonna let the ring of nullification anywhere near me. You'll have to try harder than that. I've been waiting years for this rematch. On that note," He said, closing his eyes, "you can't use hypnosis if I'm watching you through my waters. Your move."
Landing hard, but still on his feet, Axel took a deep breath and let out a sonic screech aimed directly at the smug demon. What few windows that remained intact instantly shattered, broken glass littering the outer edges of the room. The kraken's water construct rippled, but was otherwise unharmed by the attack.
"Sorry, what was that?" Lysias asked, mockingly cupping a hand around one of his floppy ears. "Might wanna speak up!" He brought another three tentacles down in sequence, each one narrowly dodged by the agile bat, leaving an impact crater of shattered tile. Laughing like a madman, he sent two tentacles crashing down at either side of his adversary, forcing him to leap upward to get away.
At the last possible moment, Axel used his wings to change course, barely missing the set-up strike from another waiting tentacle.
"Nice moves! I honestly don't know the last time I had this much FUN!"
Well past tired of the kraken's antics, Axel brought out the trump card he'd held onto just in case they ever met again. As he leaped away from another crashing pillar of water, he reached into his pocket and brought out a fan of light blue throwing knives. Spinning through the air, he sent all four hurtling at the construct.
"HA!" Lysias shouted, firing four small globes of water to intercept the knives. The instant they made contact, the globes froze solid and impacted the walls like cannonballs. "Did you really think I forgot how you beat me last time?"
Axel was panting, but nowhere near done fighting. He just needed to figure out a way to get close enough for his ring to take effect, giving him an opening. He darted to the left, then the right, avoiding the unending onslaught of tentacles, then launched himself once more toward the dog's position.
This time, however, when Lysias brought the next heavy tendril down, instantly grabbing hold of the resulting broken debris, he made a fist and triggered it to explode, sending shards of shattered tile in every direction. One piece, in a lucky shot, pierced Axel's shoulder, lodging deep in his back. To the cackling kraken's utter delight, the bat was staggered long enough for one of his tentacles to finally meet its mark. Instead of crushing him, when it crashed down over his head, it simply surrounded him with an empty globe of water.
"Gotcha," the sneering golden retriever said, grinning ear to ear, each one of his viciously sharp teeth visible. As the bat struggled vainly to get free, the globe slowly began to fill. "Mmm. Yesssss, this life of yours if just indescribably delicious. Absolutely worth the long wait! Making me feel a little..." The dog began rubbing his sheath as he fed, the red, pointed tip of his cock beginning to show.
Scrambling to find something in his bag to get him out of his predicament before his prison filled completely, Axel was startled to hear a weak voice call out from down below.
"E-excuse me? Kraken, sir?" Vydra asked. From the safety of the doorway, he had watched every moment of the fight, wishing he could just run away. Though he had every opportunity to take off and shelter himself in the relative safety of the Alister, he couldn't bring himself to do so. Even if there was nothing he could do about it, he couldn't just leave his friend in mortal peril. Choosing to muster what little courage he possessed, he found himself confronting the tremendously powerful demon.
"I know you're there, little imp. I'll deal with you in just a moment."
"C-Could you please s-stop hurting my friend?"
Stifling a laugh, Lysias opened his eyes, turning his gaze toward the trembling otter. "Now, why would I do that?"
"Because I a-asked nicely?"
"Well now, that is just adorable!" Closing his eyes, Lysias turned back toward Axel, who was fully engulfed in water, frantically trying to signal the otter to run. "He's yours I imagine? Don't answer, you're drowning. Ah well, if you're together, I guess I can be nice and kill you both at the same time." With a flippant wave, he sent another tentacle to slam down on the otter.
Crippled with fear, Vydra shrank back, holding his arms up in a vain attempt to shield himself. For what felt like an eternity, he waited for the end to come, but it never did. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw the tentacle meant to end his life holding completely still just a few feet above his head. A thin stream of water was flowing from it into the bottom-most portal on his defensively raised arm.
"What the fuck?" Lysias said, opening his eyes to check why his appendage had gone dead. "What did you do?"
"I-I-I-don't know!"
Growling through his teeth, the dog sent another tentacle to dispatch the imp. Same as the first time, it was stopped in place just short of impact, speared by another thin stream of water shot out of a different portal, tethering them together. "GET OFF!!!" he shrieked, merging his remaining tendrils into a massive hammer. With a spinning flourish from inside his watery shell, he raised his hands and threw them down. The hammer did as commanded, but despite the size and force behind the strike, it met the same fate as the other tentacles. Just before finding its target, it was speared by streams of water from the cowering otter's remaining portals. The dog went completely incomprehensible, wildly swearing as he tried to wrench his motionless limbs free.
A loud gulping noise suddenly echoed through the room, growing louder with every passing second. Lowering his arms, Vydra was shocked to see what appeared to be bulges traveling down his barely formed tentacles. However he was doing it, he was draining the kraken's water, and the flow was growing stronger with every gulp.
Within seconds, the panicking dog had lost enough of his construct that it could no longer support itself, collapsing inward. With nothing left to support his own weight, the once imposing demon fell to the floor of the emptying pool with a loud, undignified thud. The globe imprisoning Axel soon followed suit, releasing the soaking wet, hacking and coughing bat onto the the floor.
Once the remnants of the kraken's waters were completely absorbed, the otter's tentacles receded into their portals. An uneasy silence fell upon the room, broken only by faint groans from the dog and the bat. Vydra blinked twice, staring in shock, still not entirely certain what had happened, when his eyes faded to a familiar deep blue glow. Once more losing himself to a trance, he held his arms out at either side, and a full retinue of powerful, revitalized, glowing tentacles burst forth from each portal, sending a geyser of blue mist into the air. Axel could only watch as the otter's new limbs reached down into the pool to seek out their prey.
Finding his wrists and ankles quickly snared by unbreakable coils of water, Lysias could do little else but weakly flail about as he was lifted out of the pool. He grabbed a hold of one, trying desperately to regain control of his one and only weapon, but that water was no longer his to command. Fearful, though no less proudly defiant, he was brought before the otter, belly-down, his limbs stretched spread-eagle.
"Let me go now," Lysias said, staring daggers at the imp, "and I promise I will kill you quickly."
Vydra was motionless, not even vaguely flinching at the threat. As the dog opened his muzzle to try again, the opening was instantly pounced upon by one of the tentacles, forcefully driving in deep enough to send him gagging. It was in no way playful, as it had been with Sirius and Axel, instead moving with a predator's ruthlessness and precision. The remaining three glowing tendrils weaved behind the struggling dog like snakes, taking their positions close by his rear.
Unable to do much else, Lysias bit down on the intruding limb, his sharp teeth failing to penetrate the gel-like surface. For a moment he thought he had managed to do some damage as it pulled out of his mouth, only to be proven wrong when it hammered back in and began to powerfully fuck his throat. At his other end, one of the remaining three tentacles silently glided up to his exposed tailhole and lunged forward, instantly sheathing itself deep into his colon.
Renewing his struggles, Lysias shrieked every curse he knew, all made unintelligible by the impromptu gag fucking his throat. He thrashed about in a vain attempt to get free, only growing more enraged as the length that had penetrated his ass slipped partway out, then forced its way back in, relentlessly fucking him at a lightning-quick speed. The other two tentacles, rather than sit idly by, each hovered above the dog's ass, taking turns repeatedly slapping his buttcheeks, slowly making them grow visibly reddened.
Even through his anger, pain, and humiliation, Lysias could feel his cock getting hard, emerging from his sheath. It only took a few squeezes of his prostate to reach full mast, his knotted, bright red, six-inch prick twitching between his legs. He snarled at the otter, the fact that he couldn't even bring his legs together enough to rub his cock between his thighs, unable to pleasure himself at all, only fueling his rage. As he struggled, the final two tendrils stopped their spanking and joined the one hammering away under his tail, coiling around it, slowly merging into a single, massively thick length.
Lysias's eyes bugged out as his tailhole was spread to it's limit, attempting without success to clench down and force the intruder out. Unable to grow any thicker, the merged tentacles instead grew longer, reaching deeper into the dog than he ever would have thought possible. At both ends, they continued to pick up speed until he could only see the blur of their movement, rapidly working his untouched cock and tightening nutsack to a much-desired climax. Frothing at the mouth, overwhelmed by the mix of pain and pleasure, the defeated kraken's body seized up as he gyrated his hips, giving a gagging groan as he sent a long stream of cum splattering against the tiled floor.
All at once, their job complete, the glowing tentacles evaporated, dropping the dog to the floor in a heap. Vydra's eyes went back to normal, and with a small sigh, he fell to his knees, then toppled over onto his side.
Having gotten his release, Lysias lust-filled haze faded, leaving him with nothing but rage, and most of all, a desire for revenge against the imp that humiliated him. Glaring at the defenseless otter, curled up in a ball, just waiting to be eviscerated, he placed his hand in the spent puddle of cum he had left on the floor. Effortlessly gaining control of the fluid, he hardened it into the shape of a small knife, and shakily rose to his feet. Before he could take his first step, the knife reverted back to dripping goo as he felt a burning sensation at the small of his back.
"No," was all Axel said, pulling his ring away, leaving a small pentagram branding the dog's back. Still recovering from his earlier predicament, he coughed up a bit of water, staggering a few steps backwards before recovering. He slapped his hand over his shoulder, pressing it against the open wound to stop the bleeding, the tile shard having fallen out at some point while he was in the water. "It's over, your powers are sealed. It's your turn to listen now, Lysias, so I'm just going to make you my offer. You can only feed on mortals that are touching waters you control, and you can't control waters without your power..." He stopped to cough again. "Sign a contract with me and I'll allow you enough power to feed without hurting anyone. No one will ever be able to tell."
Lysias stared at Axel, nothing short of raw fury in his crystal-blue eyes. "You unbelievable fucker..." he said, clenching his fists, digging his claws into his palms. "I'd sooner die than bow down to you."
"I'm not asking you to bow down to me. I don't care what you do so long as you're not killing anyone! It shouldn't be that hard of a decision. Either live peacefully, or starve as a parasite."
"How about a counter offer. Either you kill me right now, or get rid of the fucking seal and let me go. If you leave me to starve, I will personally kill every mortal I see until I drop, and the pointless waste of each and every one of those precious little morsels will be on you."
"You really are a pathetic little monster," Axel said, sighing in frustration. "You're created strong, and you act like it's your right to take advantage of anyone less than you."
"Pathetic..." Lysias snarled. "You'd be dead if it weren't for your little freak pet there."
"Yeah, and for all your threats, without being able to hide behind your powers, you're nothing."
Shaking with anger, Lysias knelt down, grabbing a bloody shard of tile off the floor. He lunged at the bat, slashing the makeshift weapon at his throat.
Even weakened and soaked head to toe, Axel had no trouble dodging the furious kraken's attack, knocking him to the floor with a roundhouse as he passed by. "If you're so determined to uphold that pointless demonic pride of yours, there's one other option." He flashed his ring at the dog glaring up at him from the floor. "If I kill you, you'll just go back to hell with your powers intact. You'll come back someday, ready to cause suffering and misery all over again. But if I use my ring to banish you, you'll lose them forever. I doubt you'll ever change until you learn what it's like to be weak. You might just learn a little empathy."
"You mortals... you really think you're special... that your lives somehow have meaning beyond being livestock... Whatever you do to me, I will NEVER see your kind as anything but meat."
"So be it. This is your last chance. Sign a contract, or join the bottom of the food chain."
"No matter what you do, I'll never be at the bottom of anything," Lysias said, once again climbing to his footpaws. "NOW DIE!!!" With a roar of fury, he raised the shard and charged.
Axel sighed and gestured downward. In a flash of blinding light from his ring, the kraken was gone, nothing left of him but a puff of smoke, and and odd, blue, glowing floating upward through the hole in the roof. Coughing up some more water, Axel felt a wave of exhaustion crash over him. He was barely able to whistle for Sirius before everything went dark and he fell to the floor in a heap.
______________________
Slowly opening his eyes, Axel was startled to see the noses of an otter and a wolf taking up his entire field of vision. Startled, he scooted back, getting a good look at the room, and was pleased to see he was back on board the Alister in the quarters they had previously shared. Groaning as he sat up, he noticed that his shoulder had been cleaned and dressed, nice white bandages wrapping him up. His shoulder still hurt like hell, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. More than anything, he was just happy to be dry again.
"How long was I out?" he asked, groaning as he rubbed his temple.
"Only a few hours!" Vydra replied, happily hugging the groggy bat. "Are you okay now?"
"Mm. I'm fine, I think. Everything hurts, but I'm fine." Axel chuckled, even happier that he wasn't coughing anymore.
"What happened to the kraken? Did he get away? He wasn't there anymore when Sirius got us."
"No, he didn't get away... After you disarmed him... literally... I marked him with my ring and tried to make him an offer to change his ways. He didn't take it, and long story short, he gave me no choice but to banish him."
"Banish?"
"Oh... Yeah, it's something of a special ability specific to the ring of nullification. First, marking a demon seals its powers. If I then use the ring to banish a marked demon back to hell, those powers are permanently stripped away. I try to only use it in extreme situations since, for one thing, it's incredibly straining. The stronger the demon, the more it takes out of me, and Lysias was no slouch. And two, I don't know what happens to the stripped powers. I mean, they have to go somewhere, right? Either they make dangerous demons more dangerous, or a few people will be waking up able to control water tomorrow." He shrugged, wincing at the renewed pain in his shoulder. "I'm not sure if it'll make a difference, really, but for someone like Lysias, maybe if spends some time as one of the weak, someday he'll learn the value of coexisting." Tilting his head at the otter, he smiled warmly. "Speaking of which, why didn't you tell me you're such a badass?"
"You mean absorbing all the water?" Vydra asked, heavily blushing through his fur. "I didn't know I could do that! I never tried to before... I'm happy to know that now, though! Cleaning up spills should be easy as pie!"
"Well, that, and how you supercharged yourself afterward! It was incredible! A KRAKEN was no match for you! It's pretty much one of the biggest rule of being a hunter brought to life; no matter how powerful you might be, no one is invulnerable, everything has a counter. Wait'll I tell Matty we have the perfect trump card against water demons hiding right under our noses."
Vydra's smile faded. "Do... do you have to tell anyone what happened?" His eyes grew wide as he stared at the bat, twiddling his webbed fingers. "I don't want to be seen as a weapon... I'm always happy to help if I'm needed, and it was nice to be useful, but I don't want to be..."
Placing his hand on the otter's shoulder, Axel gave a reassuring smile. "I understand, your secret's safe with me. I owe you that much." He gently patted the otter, cringing in pain from his wound.
Sliding off the mattress, Sirius knelt on the floor beside the bed. "Since you're up now, you feel like some of our usual post-hunt healing?" he asked, excitedly running his long, flat tongue along his lips.
"Ah, yeah, that'd be perfect, thanks for reminding me," Axel replied, tossing the sheets off, revealing his bare body. He slid forward until he was sitting on the edge of the mattress, feet on the floor, sheath and balls right in the wolf's face.
Not needing any further prompting, Sirius pressed his muzzle against the entrance to the bat's sheath, darting his long tongue deep inside.
Axel gasped, humming with pleasure as his dick was caressed by the probing tongue, rapidly growing erect. Spreading his legs, he gave the wolf some extra room to fondle his heavy nutsack. As the mushroom-headed tip of his cock emerged, the wolf took the entire thickness into his muzzle, sucking hard as it continued to grow.
Off to the bat's side, Vydra watched on with a quizzical expression.
Pointing at the crystal embedded in his ear, Axel explained, "Part incubus, remember? Feeding through sex helps me heal, so we always have little pile-ons to celebrate afterwards. It's just a shame Kazama and Gensa aren't here." He grinned. "Obviously, you're welcome to join in if you're feeling up to it."
Bobbing his muzzle along the bat's now fully engorged cock, Sirius stopped playing with the dangling testicles long enough to beckon the otter toward his rear. He lifted his tail over his back, giving his butt a quick slap before going back to playing with the bat's junk.
Not needing anything more of an enticement, Vydra hopped off the bed and stood behind the wolf. He dropped his shorts, letting his smallish erection spring free. Cupping his hands around the much larger wolf's cheeks, he concentrated, and a pair of thin streams of water left the two topmost portals at his shoulders. They ran up his shoulders, then down his chest, meeting at his crotch, merging into a coiled cylinder that quickly took the shape of a foot-long, see-through cock encasing his own.
Noticing the bat's eyes widening, Vydra smiled and explained, "I can always give myself a little enhancement myself like this, even if my tentacles need a rest. He said he-Ooh!" He let out a small chirp, taken off guard by the wolf pressing back against his crotch, hot-dogging himself with the otter's cool, slick length. "He said... oohhh... he likes taking really big cocks, so I... mmm... I was happy to give him what he wanted." Completely frustrated by the wolf's flexing ass-cheeks, he aimed his artificially enhanced cock downward, easily pushing the squishy tip past the wolf's pucker.
Axel sighed as the wolf moaned around his cock, the vibrations alone close to driving him over the edge. He could feel a slight itchiness under the bandages wrapped around his shoulder. The wound was already stitching itself up. Just a little bit longer and he could really join in.
Biting his lip, Vydra humped his hips forward, working his shaft into the tight ring inch by inch. With every push, he forced Sirius to swallow more of the bat's cock until he had taken the entire thing, his nose shoved against the musky crotch fur. Before long, Vydra had completely sheathed his cock in the wolf's ass, leaving him fully spit-roasted on both sides. Not giving him any time to recover, he immediately began pistoning his hips, furiously pounding away at the wolf.
That was about all Axel could take, with the wolf deepthroating him making something between a howl and a squeal between his legs. He leaned back, clenching his toes as he used his good hand to grab hold of the wolf's head fur. With a loud, reverberating moan, he climaxed, sending a flood of jizz directly into the wolf's gullet. Falling back onto the bed as he faded into his afterglow, he was dimly aware that the pain in his shoulder had completely vanished.
After taking a minute to recover, he sat back up and pulled his softening cock out of the wolf's cum-stuffed throat. Wishing to return the favor, he dropped to the floor under the wolf's crotch, taking hold of the twitching cock stuck between his thighs. Smirking at the fact that the wolf's fat balls were repeatedly smacking into his wrist, he spent a moment observing the otter's rapid thrusting, then began stroking the wolf's cock at the same pace.
Between his gullet getting pumped full of cum, his ass utterly reamed by a massive, cold, jelly-like shaft, and now his needy cock being jerked off as well, Sirius wasn't able to last much longer. All too soon, he let out one last extended howl as he shot his thick, creamy seed all over the floor. Over his shoulder he could hear the otter doing much the same, making a series of adorable squeaks as he hit his peak.
As Sirius had previously discovered, when Vydra used his water-enhanced cock, as he ejaculated, all that water get fired out along with the actual cum. It was a shock the first time it happened, but he soon found he had a taste for it. Bracing himself, he gasped hard as he felt the rush of cold water shooting deep into his rear.
Falling back onto his rump, Vydra let out a delighted sigh. Sirius rolled over, slumping onto the floor, panting softly as his cock idly twitched, dripping out another small dollop of jizz onto his nutsack.
"Oh, whoops." Axel said, seeing the large puddle of cum staining the otter's nice clean floor. Not to mention the trickle of watery cum spilling out of the wolf's gaping tailhole. "Sorry about that."
"Hm? What?" Vydra sat up to see what he meant, smiling happily when he saw the new messes. "No worries! I'll take care of them!" Hopping to his feet, he was about to grab the bucket and mop when he was stopped by the bat.
"Just relax, already!" Axel said, laughing into his hand. Noticing a small glob of jizz on his finger, he licked it off, humming with pleasure at the musky, salty taste. "There's plenty of time for that. It'll be a long flight back home." Cheerfully nodding, the otter took a seat at the wolf's side, just as happy to get some cuddle time. "In the meantime, after you recover a bit, I don't suppose you'd be willing to let me have a turn with that other little trick of yours?"
Stifling a giggle, Vydra smiled and nodded.
