Synopsis: It's the holidays! Kiva and Vinny are invited to his parent's place to celebrate. Will the Direwolf endear herself to them, or will she embarrass her husband in front of his family? (~9,100 words)

Every story series needs a holiday special, right? I'm very familiar with embarrassing family meetups and this story stemmed from that. My other influence is Casimyrcsko who has written a few similar stories (which I highly recommend. Go check them out.)

A wave of dead tree branches blew past the windows of a vintage truck. The sea of trees was only occasionally broken up by an electrical pole or a metal sign warning them when the next stop would fly by. From her view in the backseat, Kiva observed schools of vehicles effortlessly pass their own nearly antique one. The sputtering of its engine and the roar of its tires over the road were harsh on her sensitive ears. It quickly became background noise while she discovered new patterns outside her window.

Stretching her legs forward, the Wolf observed the space in front of her where the passenger's seat once rested. Her husband had it removed for her so she could sit in the truck comfortably without crushing her long legs. The roof of the truck was higher than normal to account for her bulk, but her head still scraped against the ceiling if she didn't slouch in her seat. She also needed a special attachment to extend her seat belt past her chest. On her chest, a dark t-shirt depicting three Wolves howling at a moon was stretched out almost beyond recognition. It was an album cover for some famous boy band that became an internet sensation a few years ago, and Kiva was happy to have a nice-looking shirt in her size. The thin material did little to hide her voluminous fur which puffed off her neck like a scarf.

Ahead of her, Vinny sat in the driver's seat clutching a wheel that was large enough to look awkward in his grip. He diligently scrutinized the area around them and eyed every nearby driver like they were planning to ram him, which was a great idea in this state. His watch was only periodically interrupted when he chose to stare at her through the rearview mirror. Halfway into their estimated three-hour drive, Kiva looked up from the window and sighed.

“So…"

“So?" The Human kept his gaze on the road.

“So, you never really talk about your parents. Do you not like them or something?"

“Or something."

Scoffing, Kiva stretched her legs toward the dashboard and tapped the glove compartment with her claws.

“C'mon, gimme more than that! They're your flesh and blood! I know it's perfectly reasonable to meet me and want to drop everything for me, but you didn't even invite them to our wedding."

“First of all, we didn't really have a wedding. We were dirt poor when we got married and we barely got out of that thanks to the incident." Kiva blushed at the thought of their 'wedding' and how the priest had to deal with their antics. Apparently, the kiss wasn't supposed to go for that long or involve that much groping.

“Secondly," he paused, solemnly gazing at her through the mirror then hastily returning his eyes to the road. “I don't hate them. They just raised me and expected me to have a job and be out of the house at 18. Some parents think raising a child ends at a number, but it never really ends so long as they're alive. Or maybe they thought I could handle it. The economy is very different today than it was when they were kids."

The couple fell into an uncomfortable silence and contemplated how to restart the conversation. Kiva opened her mouth to speak, but Vinny interrupted her.

“So no, I don't hate them. We didn't talk much after I ran off with you. It's partly their fault and partly mine. I just think it's strange that they decide to invite me home for a holiday after we end up on the local news."

“You don't think they're like my father, and disapprove of our relationship?"

“No. Never that bad. They may be greedy if they only invite us after we get famous, but I don't think they're malicious. You remember where we grew up, right? They were shoulder to shoulder with the Cats, Dogs, and Squirrels. I doubt my mother has a hateful bone in her body. Just act like your usual self and you'll be fine."

At his last statement, Kiva perked up and flashed a wicked grin at the mirror. Vinny eyed her through it and did a double-take.

“N-no, hey! I mean, it would help if you didn't go 'all out' at first!"

“Alright." She folded one leg over the other and pushed her foot toward him. “I'll keep the teasing to a minimum while we're there. But it depends on how I feel about them." Her giant foot rested on his shoulder and tapped him with its equally large toes.

“Quit it! No distracting the driver! Bad enough you barely fit in here!"

Kiva just laughed, then sat up and shook the truck as if they had hit a bump on the road.

Rows and rows of similar yet divergent houses lined the neighborhood. Each one of them was close enough in appearance to confuse an outsider, but they had a few unique features that made the differences obvious to the people who lived there. The houses all had front and back yards, but they were misshapen compared to one another the further down the road they drove. It was easy to imagine the first few plots of land being laid out perfectly, but each subsequent house had tiny measuring errors that led to its current state. Most of the houses were made of brick with a foundation of concrete, including the one whose driveway Vinny pulled into. He parked the machine behind a navy blue sedan and cut the engine. It made a few clangs and sputters before finally going quiet.

Stepping out of the vehicle, Vinny waltzed to the other side and opened the door for his wife like a chauffeur. He even lent her a hand to hold onto which she rejected in favor of jumping out of it. As soon as her body left the cabin, the suspension made a horrific screech and the right side of the truck sprung up and bounced for a few seconds. Vinny cringed at the noise and movement but giggled at Kiva's shocked expression. Immediately after, he made a cursory series of checks around the vehicle and seemed satisfied, locking the doors and guiding his partner to the front door.

The concrete stairs and metal railing leading to the front door all looked hilariously small compared to Kiva's immense frame. The neighborhood hadn't been built with someone like her in mind. Along with the overcast weather, the location gave her an uneasy feeling like she wasn't meant to be here. Below her, Vinny sheepishly hunched his shoulders and nervously eyed the door like it was going to attack him when he knocked on it. Kiva put her hand on his shoulder which calmed him. He knocked on the door and waited. The Wolf's ears perked up at a series of sounds behind the door. The sudden schlack of the deadbolt made them jump, and the door opened to reveal a very short Human woman.

Her blonde beehive hair, excessive makeup, and long fake nails screamed “fake" to Kiva's senses. On top of that, she smelled like plastic and aerosol. Her head barely reached Vinny's shoulders and her face showed a few unsubtle signs of age. Her festive sweater was coated in a garish mixture of reds and greens and clashed with her surroundings.

“My baby boy!" She immediately wrapped her arms around Vinny, who instinctively bent his head lower to let her kiss him. She peppered his cheeks with her lips and assaulted him with a litany of questions he had no time to answer. This continued for some time until he stood up and waved his arm behind him.

“Mom, this is my wife Kiva."

The woman below her looked up, and up, and up, and up until they made eye contact. At first, her face was contorted into a wide-eyed grimace. She quickly composed herself and held out her hand.

“It's nice to meet you."

Kiva took her hand, completely engulfing it with her own. “Nice to meet you Mrs.-"

“Please, call me Nancy." she interrupted, giggling all the while. Kiva let go of her hand and she took a step back from the Wolf while rotating her body back and forth between her guests. “Please, come in! You two must be so tired from the drive."

Stepping back into the house and holding the door open, Nancy made way for the couple as they wandered in through the front. Kiva practically squatted to get under the door frame and into the building, and she had to stay bent over or risk knocking her head against the ceiling. The Human's hovel was decorated like an antique store with knick-knacks lining smooth wooden shelves and fragile glass sitting on tables and bookshelves. The furniture, all a century behind anything you would find at a dedicated furniture store, had an air of authenticity that separated it from the novelty replicas one might find in any contemporary store. Everything felt in place and natural except the holiday decorations: Tinsel hanging above archways and mantles, bright baubles adorning a tree taking space in the living room, and religious icons on the walls of some kind of Human god in his infancy.

Nancy spun around toward Vinny and clasped her hands. “Vincent honey, can you go into the backyard and grab your father for me?"

“Sure!"

Kiva went to follow him, but Nancy slid between them.

“How about we leave the men some time alone and you help me in the kitchen?"

The giant rolled her eyes and leaned toward Vinny who smirked at her plight.

“Don't worry, I'll be right in. Just hold the fort until we get back."

Huffing, Kiva watched her husband exit through a sliding glass door. She focused her attention back on his mother who smiled at her and pattered off toward the kitchen. Vinny would have described the house as “cozy" but Kiva would generously translate that to “compact." Navigating around knee-height countertops, Kiva followed the elfish women to her worn kitchen where scores of varied meals were being prepared. The oven was working at full strength cooking a bird of some kind, a pot on the stove boiled something, and the countertop had dozens of fresh vegetables being prepared for something she couldn't hope to guess at. The dozens of unique smells overwhelmed the Wolf's nose, and she could barely smell the meat past the wall of spices. Most species were omnivores with a few exceptions. Still, Direwolves were more inclined to eat meat instead of vegetables and she was no exception.

“Can you grab the thyme and salt for me?" The Human pointed at a cupboard hanging from the ceiling. “You're so tall and I can barely reach the top shelf without a stepladder."

Kiva acquiesced, sliding between her and the counter with as much grace as she could muster. She was so focused on the cabinet, however, that it took her by complete surprise when her tail swatted a glass bowl full of green beans onto the floor with a crash.

“Oh sh- oops." Kiva stood very still and clamped down on her movements. Her tail stood rigid behind her above the space the bowl once occupied. She dare not move, fearing she would destroy more food with each errant twitch.

“Let me get that." Nancy spoke with less enthusiasm than before. She expertly grabbed a rag and wiped the tiled floor clean, scooping up the desecrated vegetables and throwing them into the nearby trash can.

Standing in the center of the kitchen between a medley of sights, smells, and sounds, Kiva felt like an alien monolith dropped into the middle of an exotic civilization for unknown purposes. She couldn't help Nancy clean up her mess, couldn't help her cook, and couldn't think of anything to say. The Human finished cleaning the last of the mess and looked up at Kiva with clasped hands.

“Why don't you find a seat at the table and I'll finish up in here?" Her smile felt more forced than before, and her movements around the kitchen felt tense.

Kiva stumbled her way past the threshold of the kitchen's tiled floor and onto the wooden floorboards that made up the living room and dining room. The equally wooden table taking up most of the space was covered by white linen decorated with lines of blue wind carrying impressions of snowflakes embroidered into the material. Equally gaudy ceramic plates and glassware held the cloth down and prevented it from sliding on the smooth surface. Two large candles sat equidistant on it, unlit and pristine. The chairs immediately caught her attention. They were thick Human-sized wooden things that may have been a little big for the family, but uncomfortably small for her. Kiva wrangled with a seat for a few minutes to see if it could support her, but she was left disappointed by the creaking noises made by the stubby legs when she put half her weight on them. Eventually, she managed to support her weight using two chairs, one for each glute. She also had trouble fitting her legs under the table, and leaning onto the backs of the chairs made more noise than she was comfortable with.

The backyard door slid open and two men walked into the house. Vinny was first, and a shorter but much more stout man shadowed him. His bald head, thick eyebrows, and overall gruff look contrast her husband's gentle features. He wore a simple red polo shirt and jeans, along with dirty boots which he took off as soon as he entered the house. Kiva sat up from her improvised bench and went to greet the man, whose eyebrows rose a good few inches at the sight of her. He immediately went for a handshake despite his obvious surprise.

“Nice to meet you Mr.-"

“Call me Harry." he interrupted. His handshake was firm in a way Kiva was not used to. She knew she could easily overpower the man and that her hand was twice the size of his own, but she was so used to Vinny treating her gently that it came as a surprise.

Everyone finally gathered the food from the kitchen, found a spot for it on the table, and claimed their seats. Kiva's impromptu setup got a few strange looks. Vinny sat on the end of the table next to Kiva, and on the other side sat the two parents with Nancy closest to Vinny and Harry the farthest away. Once everyone settled in, she grabbed handfuls of food out of the bowls and stacked them onto her plate. The tin dish holding the cooked bird bent, cracked, and almost fell apart when she violently ripped a leg off with her bare hands. She cut through its scorched flesh with her claws, separating bone and meat and dumping whatever she could onto her plate which she thought was too goddamn small.

Vinny's unapologetic smile didn't distract her from his parent's horror at her vicious display. Harry dropped a large chef's knife onto his plate and watched her with equal parts fascination and disgust while she wildly tore at the meat and carved it into sizable chunks. Harry's eyebrows moved like a wave over his face, which Kiva learned was his eyes moving back and forth to search the table. He looked back up at Nancy.

“No green beans?"

“We had a little accident in the kitchen. I can cook some more tomorrow though."

Kiva's enthusiastic butchering slowed at their conversation, and she felt a sudden sense of awkwardness sitting there on her seats and literally not fitting into their home. Once she got off the bird and returned to her plate, the rest of the family gingerly started filling their plates and dinner finally began.

“So Kiva," Nancy broke the dead air. “what do your parents do? Vinny never talks about it and hardly sends us letters."

“They're dead." She didn't bother looking up from her meal at first. She did eye Nancy after a moment of silence passed to see her moving her mouth open and shut like a fish. She quickly composed herself.

“Oh, that's… I'm terribly sorry." The men of the house stayed stoic under the oppressive blanket of their clumsy small talk. “Well then, what do you do?" she continued.

Kiva almost rolled her eyes at the question. “As if she doesn't know what I do." she thought. “I ended up on national news after the incident that started all this. Plus, I'm pretty sure they watched my interviews on television. It's probably the reason they invited us." Instead of complaining, she soldiered on.

“I sell my services and a few products I create to the locals. A giant isn't very useful in general, but I've gotten offers to star in movies or commercials." Kiva noticed the untouched silverware surrounding her plate and frowned at the faux pas she unknowingly committed.

“Vincent helps her manage their business." Harry announced, causing Nancy's face to brighten.

“That's wonderful! My little boy is a businessman." she turned to Kiva, who had stopped gorging herself to pay better attention to the conversation. "I heard about your situation a long time ago, but I didn't make the connection to you two until you got that interview on the news a few months ago."

“Called it."

“What's it like being big?" Harry asked.

“What, you mean like right now?" Harry chuckled at her joke, encouraging her to continue. “It's sort of… well, from my perspective it's like everything else is getting smaller. Controlling it is getting easier the more I use it though."

Harry seemed impressed if she was reading the movement of his eyebrows correctly.

“What do you sell?" Nancy continued.

“Oh y'know, I grow large enough and we cut my fur to make clothing and accessories. We also sell my milk…" The last part came out uncharacteristically timid. So much so that even Vinny arched an eyebrow at the way she tensed up when she said it. Nancy, however, seemed perfectly okay with it.

“You mean like those dairy Cows upstate? That's great! Do you have any Cows in your family?"

“Nah. My family tried to stay 'pure' due to some cultural reasons." She drew quotes in the air with her claws at the word pure. “That obviously failed once it came to me. Plus, my dad was horrifically racist. In fact, I'm pretty sure the heart attack that killed him happened when he learned I was fucking your son."

Based on the looks she was getting, the joke fell flat on its face and broke its nose. Vinny had his face in a palm, Harry was trying his hardest to ignore her, and Nancy had a hand over her mouth in shock. Kiva retreated to her meal and cleaned her plate with her usual ferocity. The rest of the meal went the same, with Vinny's parents trying to ask harmless questions fearing they might step on a landmine. Kiva was less occupied answering their questions and more worried about what you call a meal between lunch and dinner. Supper? Lunner? She thought lunner sounded more fun. Eventually, Nancy stood up from her seat and declared an end to their feast.

“We ate so much more than I thought we would! I was expecting leftovers for tomorrow, but I guess I'll have to go to the store and get some more food."

Kiva blushed, avoiding eye contact. It's not her fault they made Human portions and invited her over. One turkey for a family of three Humans was reasonable. Vinny was an adult male who could sometimes keep up with her for a few minutes, and she was a half-a-ton monster who could eat her body weight in protein. Vinny quickly sprang up from his seat and assisted his mother with cleaning the table and the dishes, which they moved into the kitchen. Nancy and Kiva both silently agreed to let her stay out of the way. She took a seat in the middle of their modest couch, wincing at the creaking noises coming from the wooden frame hidden underneath the soft exterior. She almost filled a couch meant for two to three people.

The chaos of the kitchen cleaning team didn't stop Harry from weaving between them and grabbing various things with impressive precision. Kiva got a sense of the trio's synergy and how this may have been a daily ritual for them before their son moved out with her. Mother and son became a conveyor belt between sink and dishwasher, cutting the chore time in half. Harry made it out of the kitchen with his prize: A glass of whiskey on the rocks and an overfilled glass of wine which he handed to the Wolf on the couch. He took a seat in the recliner across from her and sipped his drink, sometimes glancing at her but never starting any conversation. Kiva didn't know how to approach the stone-faced man without embarrassing herself again, so she silently sipped her wine and silently thanked him for supplying her with such a large portion. Eventually, the hissing of the sink ended, and the last of the family gathered their drinks and joined them in the living room.

Vinny carried a glass of whiskey like his father, and his mother nursed a glass of the same wine Kiva was gifted. She sat up to let Vinny take a seat on the couch with her. He sat at the very edge, leaning onto the armrest for support. When Kiva sat back down on the opposite end of the couch, her weight deformed the cushions and Vinny slid toward her massive body like she had her own gravity. She instinctively wrapped an arm around him and sipped more wine with the other. Unfazed by this, Vinny started a conversation with his parents which lasted hours.

“...Look, all I'm saying is that I thought you liked smaller girls!" Harry raised his voice, not quite shouting from his seat. He was much more animated after a glass and-a-half of whiskey went through his system. Vinny was also animated, but he had only had the one and quit there.

“I jus-"

“You were all over that squirrel in middle school, remember? Took her on a date and everything." His father was smiling brighter than she had ever seen him. “Or that Mouse in high school you said was flirting with you?"

Kiva tilted her snout down towards her husband. “You had a Mouse crush on you?"

“She was that one girl in my science class. Remember? She sat at the same table as me and tried to hang out with me at lunch."

“Oh yeah! I remember her. Why did she stop? You never introduced us." Her brain was working slower than usual thanks to the wine working its way through her system. She had already gone through half their jug of table wine and hoped they would resent her for drinking their supply.

Vinny leaned back into her and stared at the ceiling. “I have no idea. Once you started hanging out with me, a lot of people started avoiding us."

He continued talking with his parents immediately after. Kiva wanted to join them, but she was lost in thought after what he said. She didn't notice it at the time, but Vinny never had a core group of friends he spent time with before or after her. Anyone who showed interest in him jumped ship when they started dating. (Though she didn't consider them dating until after they had sex, it was obvious that they were from the outset. Holding hands between classes and spending time at a girl's house isn't something platonic friends do.) Kiva hadn't been paying attention, but their conversation dragged her attention back to them. Vinny moved to sit in her lap which she generously accepted and wrapped him up in both her arms.

“...and we'll invite you over to Thanksgiving next time." Nancy seemed apologetic.

“Oh yeah, invite the Direwolf to Thanksgiving dinner. That's a smart idea." Kiva joked.

Nancy paled at her statement and seemed ready to defend herself, but Vinny jumped in to help her.

“It's okay, mom. She was joking."

“Oh thank goodness. I'm sorry Kiva, it's just… I wouldn't have-"

“It's fine. I'm not exactly a Bald Eagle so it's tough for most to make the connection. I'm not close to Direwolf culture at all anyways. All of that was wiped out long before our time."

Once again, Kiva's joke created a lull in the conversation. Everyone sat silently around the living room with an ostentatious tree sitting to their side hovering over a window. Kiva went to say something but tilted her glass too far and spilled wine on Vinny's shirt. He didn't jump so much as flinch in her lap at the cool liquid sensation seeping down his front. Nancy was much quicker to react than them, already on her feet and running to grab something.

"Take off your shirt and put it on the counter! I have just the thing for this!" she yelled down the hallway.

Vinny acquiesced, unbuttoning his shirt and shrugging it off. He walked over to the kitchen counter and found a bare spot to lay it down. When Nancy got back with a small spray bottle of something, she took one look at her son and gasped.

“Oh my God!"

Vinny jumped at her shock, turning around to try and find her. Nancy chased his back and tried to hold him in place.

“What happened to your back? It's all scarred up!"

On the couch, Kiva spoke up. “Did I not do a good enough job?"

“Uh… Humans don't scar each other, remember?" Vinny quickly reminded her.

“Oh. Oh shit, that's right."

“Do they hurt?" Nancy forgot about the shirt entirely and slid her finger over his back across his old wounds.

“Not anymore."

“Not anymore?!"

“Mom, please!" Vinny turned around and grabbed her hands. “Please just, maybe Kiva and I should go to bed? Don't worry about the shirt."

“I just want to make sure you're okay." Nancy's eyes went to Kiva for a second, then back to Vinny.

“We're fine." Vinny walked down the hall toward the guest room. Kiva chugged the rest of her wine and followed him, ignoring his mother who gave her a wide berth.

“She doesn't think I would hurt you for fun, does she? I mean, she's got to know I love you too much to do that."

Kiva once again found herself stooping her head to avoid scraping it against the popcorn ceiling above her. The guest room was perhaps the smallest in the house they expected her to spend time in. It had a queen-sized bed that took up most of the floor space laying in the middle of the rectangular room, and a closet filled with miscellaneous goodies like office supplies and unused clothing. If she stood close to the bed, she needed to duck even lower to avoid the ceiling fan spinning in her face. Vinny stood at the foot of the bed, removing his clothes and getting ready to sleep.

“She's just worried about me. I don't blame her for worrying after being gone for so long. And you remember what I told you about the scars, right? Humans don't do that. We don't have fur to cover it up and culturally, it's usually better to have smooth skin. Usually. Guys with scars are considered cool if they look like warriors, though, I'm sure their mothers disagree."

Kiva got on her knees and followed his lead, throwing her shirt onto the floor next to their belongings. Next, she struggled with the latch on her huge bra and swore when her claw slipped over the fabric. Vinny casually stepped behind her and reached up over his head to pat her shoulder. Kiva fell closer to the hardwood floor, legs splayed apart and butt on the ground while her husband hopped over her agitated tail. He kept the fluffy appendage between his legs and allowed it to smack him back and forth while he easily undid the clasps on her custom garment and freed her breasts from their fabric prison. Kiva usually wore sports bras or went without them entirely whenever possible. For the sake of the visit, Vinny convinced her to wear a full cup bra to preserve her modesty in front of his parents. She found the bands around her back restricting against her fur and was thankful to be rid of it. Vinny pulled it off her and gawked at the monstrous piece: The individual cups were larger than his head and the straps were as wide as his hands!

The Wolf prowled onto the bed and fumbled on the too-small mattress. She pushed her legs out and off the end of the bed before almost kicking the wall with her feet. Instead, she lowered them to the floor and used that as support to lift her waist off the mattress and pull her shorts off. Vinny threw the giant bra on the pile with their stuff, removed his underwear, walked back to the end of the bed, and helped her pull off her shorts, leaving her in a thin pair of panties that looked stretched to their limit over her hips. Once they slid off her ankles, Kiva unceremoniously splayed her limbs out and lay on her back. Even with her head up against the headboard, her legs came off the bottom and her knees were bent over the edge with her feet flat on the ground. Her husband chuckled at her plight.

"Sorry about the sleeping situation. I know they would have figured something better out if they had known." Kiva admired the scars she had carved into his body. There were barely any on his chest, but the ones on his back curved onto his sides and they could be seen from the front if he went shirtless. Somehow, his parents didn't notice the scars on his ears or shoulders where she gave him a few love bites. They were never going to find the cuts on his ass cheeks where she had grabbed him many times. Still, she took great care to be gentle with him and not add any more than necessary.

“This isn't the worst place I've slept. Sleeping on dirt and fallen trees is the worst by far."

Vinny looked surprised at her joke. Kiva didn't usually make light of the time she was stuck growing in the middle of the woods.

“Yeah. The rain must not have been fun, either. I'm sure it was cold."

“Actually, I was pretty hot after a certain size. Didn't ever get cold after the first week."

“Huh. I knew you were hot but that's something else!"

Kiva ignored his awful pun and sat up using the wall as support. “So… Your dad is like a smaller, hairier version of Smith."

“What? What makes you say that?"

“He calls you by your full name, he's pretty stout for his size, gruff, and his name is even Hairy! Is that a Human thing? We don't name people off physical traits like that."

“That's not-" Vinny leaned against the wall and jumped when his head hit a painting hanging on the wall. He turned back to Kiva who was flashing her fangs at him. “He wasn't born hairy. I think. But he was born Harry."

“Hah! Cute." One of Kiva's legs gently lifted off the floor and pushed him against the wall. Her foot was longer than his torso and wider than his waist, and one of her toes tapped against his face. They too were incredibly large and each pad was almost larger than his face.

Vinny tilted his head to the side and wrapped his arms around her foot. “Kiva, I don't know if I want to have sex in my parent's house. I'm pretty sure they would hear us even if we were really quiet. Sound travels well through these walls."

She wasn't about to let that get in the way of her love. Kiva lifted her toes off his face, forcing his arms off her foot, and ground her heel pad into Vinny's exposed crotch. Her toes glided side to side past his face while he gasped and grunted under her teasing. Eventually, he managed to push her off after a great struggle. He wasn't strong enough to stop her, she was simply letting him go.

“Fine. Just, let's try and be quiet. You stay how you are and I'll be on top."

“Ooo! Mama like!"

“Please, not here. Not now." Vinny stepped up to the end of the bed and looked closely at her. Kiva lay on the bed completely nude except for the dark laced briefs stretched past her hips. The thin material did nothing to hide her puffy pussy lips even in the dark. Thanks to the height of the bed frame and the mattress, and Kiva's butt naturally pushing her up, Vinny didn't have to lean down far to get a face full of her. In a stunning display of flexibility, Kiva stretched her legs out to the side and almost managed to do the splits. Each leg was nearly as tall as him and about as heavy, and they both scraped against the walls on each side of them.

“Come unwrap your present, stud. You've been a good boy this year and Santa wants to reward you."

“Wouldn't that be Mrs. Claus?"

"Oh, for-" Kiva laid her head back and grumbled. "Just get on with it."

Vinny lay both his hands on her titanic thighs and Kiva felt her breath quicken in response. She felt her body warm-up starting from wherever he touched and working its way up to her chest. Next, he slid his hand above her panties and pulled the garment to the side of her pussy, admiring it before diving face first and exploring her with his mouth. Kiva let out a sharp gasp, but quickly corrected herself and covered her mouth. While Vinny lapped at her lap, she grabbed his head with one hand and played with her nipple using the other.

Eventually, he seemed to grow tired of this and stood up. Kiva watched him shuffle onto the bed and crawl over her like she was the fuzzy mattress he planned to sleep on. If she had anything to say about it, it was likely he would be. His erection hovered over her entrance and teased her with each swing and smack against it. Two gigantic pillars of fur and muscle locked around Vinny's waist and pulled him into her, forcing him to fall face-first into her muscular abdomen. Trapped between her thighs, Vinny saw no recourse but to rut into her like she wanted. Her legs gave him enough room to lay his arms on her in a plank and plunge into her depths. His thrusts picked up in speed, and she felt him throbbing inside of her.

“Longer thrusts." she whispered to him.

Vinny slowed down at her command and took his time. Each plap of his sweaty hips into her lap was loud enough that she thought they might wake his parents. The added danger sent a tingle up her spine. What if they were caught? What if his father burst in right now and saw what she was doing to their son? Their wet slapping continued to echo off the plaster walls of the tiny guest room. Kiva continued tugging at her nipple hoping to squeeze something out, and she brought her other hand down to her groin to assist Vinny by rubbing herself in time with his thrusts.

“It's not enough." she thought. Even with Vinny doing his best impression of a piston atop her waist, it wasn't enough. She needed more weight behind it.

Kiva carefully grabbed her husband and lifted him toward her chest, clutching him tight against her breasts with one arm while using her other as support. Slowly, she spun around over the bed and managed to drop Vinny on his back while squatting over the mattress. Vinny regained his composure after being manhandled and tensed up at the sight above him: his colossal wife crouched above him, globs of sticky cum leaking from her crotch and onto his erection. Kiva held herself in place and took in the sight below her. She could smell his arousal and fear mixing like two storms clashing to create a hurricane. Vinny never felt fear during sex anymore thanks to being a veteran of her bedroom antics. Here and now, he didn't know if she was going to blow their cover by shaking the room apart or if she had more self-control than that.

The Wolf reached forward and grabbed onto the headboard with both hands. The bed frame held together well with their previous shenanigans, so it surprised her that the headboard wasn't connected to the wall and she managed to pull the frame back a few inches with her arms alone. She didn't need her thrusts smashing the wall anyways. Kiva smoothly lowered herself onto him, taking great pleasure in teasing him the same way he had earlier. Finally, she lined herself up with him and dropped hard enough to make Vinny wince in pain and grab onto her thighs. She felt his tiny nails dig into her fur and skin. She always thought his hands were dainty, even for a Human his size, and she found it fun to tease him about it.

Rolling her hips forward, Kiva gently applied her weight and thrust forward. The movement of her hips startled Vinny who released his grip on her and lay his arms to the side. He held onto both sides of the mattress and only barely managed to avoid being dragged across its surface. Instead, the entire bed frame scooted forward with her and almost hit the wall.

“Shit, I guess it's on wheels."

Kiva glanced behind her and tried to measure how far the foot of the bed was from the wall. She remembered it being very far compared to the headboard. Shrugging, she backed up a few steps and towed the bed along with her. The wheels on the front half must have been locked because they were louder than the ones in the back when she dragged it along the floor. Comfortable with her spot, Kiva turned back to her partner and bared her teeth at him. To Humans, smiles are usually seen positively. To Vinny, Kiva's smile looked terrifying back up by her current position and immense size.

"Kiva," he whispered, "please don't make too much noise."

Her heavy breathing drowned out anything she may have said. Her heart began beating harder and faster while she steadied herself until she finally swung her hips forward along with the bed. The scraping against the floor was noticeable but not loud enough to wake anyone up. At least, that's what she believed. Kiva pulled back, dragging him along with the bed and pushing him again. Sparks of energy flit up her spine with each thrust of her hips. She pushed and pulled faster and faster until the sparks became bolts and the scraping of the wheels went from subtle to obnoxious. Behind her shapely ass, Kiva's tail wagged with such ferocity she felt it might detach from her body. Her hips gained speed and her thrusts became so rapid that they caught up to the pace of her heartbeat hammering in her chest. The bed stopped moving so much thanks to her shorter movements, but Vinny shook beneath her mass and only stayed put thanks to clutching the mattress with all his might.

Finally, Kiva leaned forward and let out a deep moan that left saliva dripping off her lips and onto his face. Electric energy exploded in her crotch and left her entire body quivering. Her hips slipped off Vinny's waist and onto his stomach where her orgasm left trails of cum trailing up his chest. Kiva stayed still for a moment and basked in her pleasure until she heard a squeak from the man underneath her. Vinny looked like he was suffocating, and she realized she had dropped her full weight on his stomach and hips. The Wolf sat up and flinched when something hit her in the head with a loud clang, followed up by a ting of metal on glass. Kiva bent down and realized she had hit the fan with her head. Luckily, nothing seemed broken.

Below her, Vinny winced at the sight and breathed a sigh of relief now that he didn't have the canine equivalent of a pile of bricks on his chest. In one fluid motion, Kiva scooped him up in her grasp and managed to do the reverse of her earlier maneuver with Vinny on her stomach and her resting on the bed. Her legs were still way off the end of the bed and her body still made the frame squeal in protest, but she felt comfortable with her partner in her arms. The disparate couple shuffled around where they lay, then relaxed until their consciousness drifted away.

Vinny flew on pale feathered wings past rows and rows of twinkling lights. They alternated between yellow, blue, and red with no discernible pattern to follow. The wind gently caressed his skin and flowed smoothly over his gossamer gown. Below him stood a gargantuan pine tree decorated top-to-bottom with unique baubles and trinkets. Vinny leaned right and drifted closer to it, floating past the decorations and getting a precise look at them. Every single one was a memory dredged up from his past and displayed here on this shrine to the season. Unwrapping presents, baking with his mother, doing yard work with his father, curled up by the fireplace, and watching the flames well into the night…

Using his newfound limbs, the angel descended on the arboreal tower and gently touched down on the tip where he perched on a wooden limb. He felt firmly rooted onto it with no way to leave, but it didn't bother him. Standing atop the monolithic tree left him feeling content like he was destined to be its ever-watchful guardian. It was his tree, and he would look out for it. His vision did not reach far, however. Everything past a certain point was blurry. Even the lights dancing outside his range had an ethereal presence like they could disappear at any moment.

The wood under his feet shook slightly. He glanced at the ground but saw nothing unusual under him. The tree shook again, stronger this time, and Vinny saw the ornaments around the tree shake with it. Right when he thought it would stop, another round of shaking made the decorations jingle. Then another, and another, and another all in rhythm. The banging grew louder each time and directed his attention back to the fog in the distance where something immense was taking shape. Its, no, her muscular legs were topped by wide hips and a fluffy tail swaying along with them. Her sandy white fur and nude form fully revealed themselves to Vinny who finally connected the dots in his head.

With each thunderous step, the Wolf drew closer to the tree and shook the angel on his perch. He stood resolute in the face of imminent danger and did not budge when her strides led her next to the tree. She was monumental. Taller than Vinny standing on top of the tree. If he looked forward her muscular abs greeted him, and her weighty chest hung above him. She did not say anything or even open her mouth. Instead, she lifted her arms above her head and began rubbing her body against the tree, deliberately spinning herself and walking around the structure to cover every inch of it. Unlike the footsteps, the tree shook so violently from her scraping that Vinny feared he would be thrown off. Above him, the Wolf's lips quirked up into a smile while she slowly spun around to expose every part of herself to the tree. Like a bear rubbing itself against an oak to scratch its back, she took great pleasure in desecrating his roost. Glass shattered below them, and Vinny felt a hole open up in his gut knowing this force of nature could not be stopped or even delayed.

Finally, she spun back around to face him and placed her arms on her hips. She gave the tree an appraising look and flashed her massive fangs down at him. Vinny pushed with his wings and spun his arms around until he found his balance atop the tree again. Beneath his feet, the ornaments on his tree had gone through a metamorphosis. Gone were a few of the memories and in their place were new ones. A milk tin tied up with a blue ribbon reminding him of his time at the county fair supporting his wife, flowers that looked the same as the type they planted in front of their house, and orange leaves like the ones that fell on the trail they walked together daily. Vinny looked back up at the Wolf and felt his heart leap out of his chest. She bent down to meet him, her crimson eyes were larger than his head and they honed in on him while her massive eyelashes fluttered. Her puckered lips swooped in on him and crashed into him, engulfing his face and chest in a giant sloppy kiss.

The Wolf pulled back slightly then dove back in, assaulting his body with a series of wet smacks with no room for him to breathe. Each smooch ended with Vinny feeling lightheaded and tipping off the tree, only for the follow-up kiss to push him back up and leave him even more disoriented. She heaped dozens of kisses on him over and over again until it became too much, and the sensations woke him up.

Kiva felt consciousness slowly return to her. Any dreams she may have had faded away and the antics from last night took their place in her memories. She sat up on the bed and winced at the pain in her neck from sleeping on such a small surface. Groaning, Kiva got a better look at their room: The walls all had scratch marks on them, no doubt from her claws and their nighttime antics. On her belly, her husband was still sleeping soundly and using her breasts to support his neck. She giggled at the sight and gently grabbed him, then spun him around to face her. They reeked of sex and sweat, but she also smelled something faint coming from outside the room. Ignoring it, Kiva focused on her man. When he did not wake up, she pulled him close to her face and began pelting him with kisses. At first, they were modest little things that made no sound. She picked up the pace and left kisses that ended in intense smacks against his skin. Her wet smooches transformed into outright licking his face, which finally woke him up from his deep slumber.

“Hey." she barked.

“Hey." he responded, sounding like he just coughed up gravel.

Kiva pushed forward and kissed Vinny again, which he reciprocated. She dove headfirst into his lips and properly made out with him. He responded in kind, sitting up and straddling her chest.

“Wait wait," Vinny tried to pull away from the kiss but Kiva pulled him closer. “we need to get ready for breakfast. My mom is making waffles."

He was right of course. The smell she noticed earlier was much stronger now. Syrup, butter, and baked goods attacked her nose and overpowered their odor. Kiva leaned back and groaned, staying on the bed while Vinny rolled off her and stretched off to her side.

It took them a bit, but they managed to make themselves somewhat presentable. Vinny wore his pajama pants which were decorated in red, black, and green along with a plain red t-shirt. Kiva wore her largest pair of panties and her largest shirt. Vinny was so tired that he didn't even fight her about her choice of clothing. When they walked out to the kitchen, they were greeted by a very enthusiastic Nancy and Harry who helped them get their share of the breakfast buffet. Nancy even made Kiva three plates worth of waffles and sausage! They sat on the couches with their meals so Kiva could have a comfortable place to sit. Once Vinny and Harry got a cup of coffee, they became much more animated and began discussing a litany of things.

“Did you have any trouble with the room?" Harry nursed his mug like he was expecting someone to steal it from him.

“Nah." Vinny paused then corrected himself. “Well, yeah. Kiva didn't really fit on the bed. I had to sleep on top of her and she sort of hung off it."

“Right. If we had known we would have prepared for her."

The men stayed quiet for a moment and reflected on that. Eventually, Harry finished his coffee and turned up to them.

“Still didn't stop you two from having fun last night, huh?"

Vinny flinched and spit coffee back into his mug. His father exploded with laughter and leaned back into his chair while his son turned red with embarrassment.

“We were that loud?" Vinny squeaked.

“Nah." Harry paused then corrected himself. “Well, yeah. We heard some scratching on the walls at first, then something scraping against the floor. I peaked inside your room and well…"

Vinny set his cup down on a nearby table and put his hands over his face like he was trying to hide. Kiva giggled along with his father and pulled him closer to her on the couch.

“So, enjoy the show old man?"

“Oh my God Kiva, shut up!" he pounded a fist into her thigh.

“I didn't stick around." Harry's smile lessened but he was still noticeably grinning. “Honestly, I'm just happy to know you two care about each other like that. Your mother was worried she was abusing you after she saw your scars. By the way, do you need anything? That looked painful."

A figure emerged from the hallway. Nancy shuffled over to the group carrying two bundles, one much larger than the other.

“Present time!" She handed the large gift to Kiva who accepted it and dropped it in her lap, and the smaller one went to Vinny. The couple sat on the couch and waited for Nancy to sit in her chair before they started. Kiva squeezed the gift in her hands. Whatever it was, it was soft under the snow-themed wrapping. Nancy sat down and put her hands together. “Okay, open them!"

The couple tore into their gifts with practiced ease. Vinny found the seams in the wrapping and tore the tape off while Kiva tore into it with her claws. She realized that might damage the present and used her fingers for the rest. Inside was a bundle of fabric decorated with the typical mishmash of seasonal red, green, black, and white color scheme. Kiva unraveled it and held it in front of her. It was a tacky sweater that looked like it would fit someone her size. On the front was a series of angels praying in a line, and on the back was a large stitching made to look like a set of wings. She looked to her husband who had already put his on and was smiling at her. His sweater had a line of wolf heads stitched into the front and a bigger wolf head on the back.

"Don't give me that look! Bad sweaters are a tradition in this family."

Kiva rolled her eyes, dropping the sweater into her lap and removing her shirt. She threw it onto the floor and quickly slipped the sweater over her head. After struggling to find the hole at the top, she stretched it onto her body and found it snug but comfortable. She turned down at Vinny and smiled, but his face was turning another shade of red again.

“What? What did I do this time?" she asked.

“You uh… forgot to wear a bra."

Kiva looked at his parents who were reacting how she expected. Nancy was covering her face like her son and Harry was stifling his laughter.

After a wonderful day with the family exchanging stories, gifts, and ordering pizza for lunch, Kiva and Vinny stashed their belongings in the truck and prepared to leave. It was warmer out in the middle of the day than the morning, but Kiva still felt comfortable wearing pants and her new sweater. Everyone exchanged a round of hugs and well wishes out on the driveway.

“Come visit us next time!" said Vinny “We have a guest room too, y'know. The fresh air will be good for you two."

Harry embraced his son and patted him on the back. “You want your old man to freeze to death out in the woods? Or do you have a nice place to hide the body out there?"

Vinny laughed and walked toward the truck while Kiva finished saying goodbye. She was on one knee and hugging Nancy, but still towered over the Human. When she finished, she tugged at her sweater.

“Thank you for the gift and the meals. Oh, and sorry about the mess we made."

“Oh, don't worry about that. We were going to replace the furniture in there anyway. Just make sure to call us more often and visit when you can."

Kiva stood up and walked past the truck while giving it a dirty look. She wasn't going to spend another three damn hours cramped inside a truck that wasn't made for her. Standing in the middle of the road, Kiva focused inward and felt a familiar tugging sensation deep in her gut. She opened her eyes and watched the world around her slowly shrink in size. The concrete under her growing paws cracked forcing her to widen her stance and evenly spread the weight. She felt her clothing grow tighter, but clamped down on that and kept up the pace until the truck looked like a toy compared to her. She bent down and gently scooped it up with two hands, cradling it next to her stomach and walking down the road they arrived from.

“Don't step on the roads! They'll break! Avoid the people! No highways either!" Vinny screamed out the window but Kiva couldn't hear him. She ambled down the battered roads of New York and figured a few more holes wouldn't bother anyone.
