The Horrific House Party (LittleAnon's Story)
Here's my part of an Art for Story trade commision with LittleAnon, you can find her amazing work here: https://littleanon.sofurry.com/
It had been a long and tiresome day, Rose and Kindo had just gotten back to their apartment block in the city from selling art at the plaza, the sun had been beating down on them, exhausting them both equally, and as they bid their farewells and wandered into their room in the apartment, they noticed some strange pieces of paper taped to their doors, plucking them off they read the words on the paper, finding it to be an invitation to an house party at the outskirts of the city, upon reading the entirety of theirs notes, both Rose and Kindo made haste towards each other to rave about being invited to a party, finding it a little strange that both of them happened to be invited, seeing how they didn't know many people that well to be invite to a party, but were excited enough for it none-the-less!
Finally, the day had come, Rose was dressed up in a casual outfit, something that some may call her a hippie for wearing, but it's not like she cared, because that's who she was, that's who she wanted to be! Kindo on the other hand was dressed in a formal suit, your standard shirt and tie styled suit with a black blazer to top the cake of masculinity he was, most of the time that is. They made their way to the house's street, their tails waving with delight and even twisting with each other's as they walked, as they approached the house that was mentioned to be hosting this event, it looked pretty high class, glossy with neon light decorations to boot, a well-trimmed garden with lovely flower decorations. With hope in their hearts, Rose and Kindo strolled down the cobbled pathway through the garden and approached the entrance; Kindo politely knocked on the door and before he could land the fourth knock the, door crept open and revealed an empty main room, with decorations layered over the walls and ceiling, an unattended bar, a peculiar looking cabinet, and a cracked TV. Confused but too high off of feeling of excitement, Rose and Kindo walked right in, only to have the door fly shut behind them, but without making a sound, as if it was forced into not slamming shut.
As they walked about the main room, acquiring drink for themselves and questioning as to why no-one else was here but it looked like a party-hurricane had passed through the house, something sprung to both of their minds, there was more to the house other than the main room, maybe the rest of guests are spread around the house. With that idea in mind, and not deciding to split up, Rose and Kindo made their way up the stairs and headed down the nearest hallway, checking each door as they passed by them, they were all locked, which they found strange, because what kind of house that has every door built with a lock? But as they traversed the seemingly unending hallways, twisting and turning around corners and past intersections, they made their way down a surprisingly short corridor, and one door stood out amongst the rest, and it stood at the end of the corridor, the door was carved out of an ivory looking material, decorated with carvings of in various anatomical structures, and the doorway was made from dark rosewood, with curved endings almost representing tentacle like appendages that looked like they could come wriggling out of the walls and grab them, but it was all merely decoration. As they approached this astonishingly crafted door, the handle stood out to the couple, it was on an ancient design, golden plated, and almost perfectly normal by comparison to the rest of the door. Anxious to see what may be behind the door, Rose eagerly reached out and grabbed the door knob, twisting it and pushing open the door, and after the second it took for Kindo and Rose to register what they were looking at, they were filled with fear and regret...
The door only had to lightly swing open, fully revealing the contents of the room, to which both Rose and Kindo began screaming at the sight of. The floor was shrouded in puddles of blood, some old, and some new; the walls were decorated with severed limbed, decapitated heads, and disfigured corpses posed in sexually graphic and revealing stances, and to top it all off the ceiling was lined with symbolic drawings and phrases of a demonic nature, scribbled in blood of course, like the room didn't reek of iron enough already. But there was something even worse lurking in the centre of the room, a humanoid being with an obese but muscular structure, arms that hung onto and over his sides and were being dragged across the floor, his hands remained relaxed, revealing large but bony palms, accompanied by long fingers with blood soaked nails. He wasn't short but neither was he tall, standing at around 5 foot, but visibly and quite obviously weighing a lot more than the average person. Knowing that there was trouble afoot both Rose and Kindo and trying to contain any further screams, the two turned around to run, to which they were interrupted by the low groaning of this monstrous beast as it approached them, which gave the two their cue to run like hell!
Barrelling down corridor after corridor, the two were getting exhausted and the beast was ever gaining on them, but by the time they had returned to main room by the entrance, it had simply vanished, trying not to think too much of it Rose and Kindo bolted towards the door, seeing their escape come into view filled them with hope, only to have it dashed by the appearance of the beast, it dropped down from the high ceiling onto the marble floor, it's sheer weight and gravity shattering the flooring beneath it, as it stood to face the heavily shocked and thoroughly worn out Rose and Kindo, they both got their first glance at its front and face. The beast was top naked with filthy rags for bottoms, its fur tainted with the dried blood, presumably that of its past victims, it had a short and stubby neck that connected the beast's large and horrific torso to its disfigured head, which consisted of a long and scared jaw, with sharp and protruding teeth, its eyes were completely black and almost soulless, if it wasn't for the white veins an white irises that finished the eyes that were glaring right at Rose and Kindo!
Backing away slowly, Kindo was frantically looking around for another escape, but Rose stood where she was, hoping to stand her ground against the fear inducing monstrosity that was now grunting at her. As the beast approached, it began to raise its arms in the air, then out of the blue its arms began to pulsate, and then they appeared to grow as his torso began to slim, almost like it was building muscle tissue out of the fat that was stored in the beast's torso, but while this occurred, Rose kept her ground, almost sobbing, and then the beast began to close the gap between it and Rose, reading to bring it's now overly muscular arms and fists down upon Rose. Aware that her standing ground tactic had failed, Rose attempted to run back and away to Kindo, but as she took her second step she tripped up on her tail, and as she began to fall the beast was bringing down its fists. But suddenly, as Rose fell, Kindo charged at her from the side, swooping her off the ground and carrying her in his arms and out of the way of the beast, and then just as Kindo and Rose made it out of the way, the beast's fist slammed down onto the marble floor, making the ground tremor and rupture around the impact zone.
Now standing away from the beast, Kindo turned around to see the beast retracting its arm muscle back into its stomach, turning its head to face then, with a sense of fury burning within its eye balls; it looked like it was ready to charge. Rose and Kindo backed away slowly, waiting for the beast to make its move, and then it ran, its large feet shaking the ground with each quick step forward, before the beast could collide with the two of them Rose and Kindo dodged out of the way, Rose to the left, and Kindo to the right. The beast kept charging and stopped only when it had collided with the peculiar looking cabinet from before, caving the doors in and turning around to look for Rose and Kindo, as the severely damaged doors of the cabinet hung open, the cabinet was revealed to be a gun closet, but the beast was strangely focused on Kindo and ignored Rose, who was now creeping her way to the gun closet.
The beast was now walking towards Kindo, who was trying not to panic too much about the given situation, but as this was happening, Rose was able to sneak over to the closet and retrieve a 'Browning Automatic-5' and loading it up with the closest buckshot ammo she could find. Kindo saw what Rose was doing and yelled for her to throw him the gun, which she did with absolute precision. Leaping backwards as the gun was thrown above him, Kindo reached out his left arm and snatched the shotgun out of the air, landing and rolling onto his feet, then standing and taking aim directly at the beast. Realising the sudden threat, the beast raised its arms in the air and readied to strike down on Kindo, building the muscle back into its arms and removing it from its body. Kindo was more than ready and took aim at the beast's left arm, pulling the trigger and watched the lead fly, tearing through the tender flesh of the beast's arm, crudely blasting the limb separate from the rest of the beast.
Buckling over in pain, the beast stepped back and kneeled down, covering it's heavily bleeding wound with the palm of its right hand. Building muscle in its remaining arm, the beast built a make-shift shield out of the toughening arm muscle and readied to charge out of pain induced rage. It was apparent that Kindo wouldn't be able to stop the beast from charging by shooting its remaining arm, so he had to think hard and fast or else he would be a pancake on the wall. The beast began to charge, swiftly clearing the gap between it and Kindo, knowing only one option Kindo quickly began to charge towards the beast himself, then dropping to the floor and sliding underneath it as it charged over him, but before the beast got too far away, Kindo took aim and unloaded another shell into the beast, the tiny balls of lead tearing the flesh of the beast's rear region.
Wailing from the unimaginable pain of having its arse blown off, the beast weakly turned to face Kindo, seeping blood from multiple areas and glaring at him with the utmost sense of hatred, limping towards him whilst trying to recover missing flesh with its muscle transferring capabilities. Turning to face the beast, Kindo aimed the shotgun back at it, pulling the trigger only for it to do nothing, now having to frantically check the tubular for mechanical faults. Now seeing that Kindo was vulnerable to attack, the beast used the last of its unused muscular tissue to stretch its neck further away and closer to Kindo, readying to sink its long and sharp teeth into his head. Reaching forward, the beast opened its jaw wide as it was about to bit Kindo's head, but then out of no-where, Rose leaped from somewhere in the room and kicked the beast in the head, sending it into the nearby wall and critically dazing it.
Having now fixed the shotgun, Kindo steadied his breath and took aim, pointing the barrel directly at the beast's head. As the beast turned to face the two of them, it was met with the long and hard barrel of the shotgun, and then Kindo pulled the trigger, eviscerating the beast's head with a direct and point blank buckshot shell to the face, blood, flesh, and bullets sprayed onto the wall facing them, leaving the beast grotesquely decapitated and ultimately dead, the corpse of the beast slumped down to the ground with a loud thud, and with that, the horror was over.
With a discreet phone call to the local authorities, Rose and Kindo finally left the house, leaving the traumatising household behind, and heading back to their city apartment. To this day they haven't brought up the events of the house party at the end of the town, but deep down within their minds, the burning anxiety from the thought of that creature still being alive, or the possibility of more than one of those beasts existing, still burns fiercely, and who knows, maybe their fears, are more real than they chose to believe...
THE END...
