His Treasure
'Tienvis, a blue scaled dragon, has a mate that no other dragon nor creature would have expected...A fox. Though they're happy being together, their species limitations makes him question if their relationship will work. But one day, he comes up with an idea, one that'll change everything.'
Hello there, and welcome to my first story of 2020! Been since...Maybe October 31st of last year I think since I posted my last one. I am so sorry for another long wait from me, but here's a new story for you. And again, I'll try hard, not TOO hard in case of overexerting myself, not to take too long posting new content on here. Still a promise from me, but also no gurantees!
Alright, enough talk, on to my trademark warning. If you're under the legal age, or find the content of my story to be weird and offensive, then please hit the back button RIGHT NOOOOOWWWW.
Otherwise, hope you enjoy it! :)
Stirring, a male blue dragon called Tienvis woke to blinding sunlight. His head rose up fast, seeing that the vast flow of sunshine seeped through the entrance of his large cave. His eyes blinked the sleep he had left away. With him usually sleeping close to the entrance, the morning sun always shines through there, and he gets this wake up of a call telling him it's morning.
He knows that's what would happen if he slept in this very spot, not to mention gets annoyed when the morning conclusion comes because his enduring slumber is interrupted. He does feel like he wants to sleep in another. In actuality, he does that sometimes. But when he did it isn't really the most comfy. It's a rarity. That was probably why the drake likes sleeping right here.
Even though the sun rudely awakes him.
Tienvis let out a deep sigh, then started getting up on his fours. He likes to sleep, but...It's time to get his ass up. The wings on his back unfurled, stretching out. Then his body bent over to take a long stretch, his tail flying straight up. He straightened up as his wings folded back. Then his gaze drew to the only cavemate nearby, some yards away from him and the sun rays.
A little red fox...Still sound asleep. A female one. It showed as it lied on its back...And exposed the lips between their legs for any wandering eye to see.
As Tienvis looked at it, directly at the tiny entrance, he hummed with a brow raised and a smile on his snout, "Hmmm..." He was getting an idea. A slick, devious one. Quietly, he sneaked his way up to the slumbering fox without making any noise. When he got up close, his tall form looked down to see she was still sleeping, a hind foot twitching as if she was dreaming of something.
He doesn't know what...But she's about to get a NEW one.
The drake lowered down to his stomach. He gently placed his forepaw on her white stomach, to keep her steady of what he was about to do. Then his muzzle stretched down toward that little pussy, his pink tongue slowly sliding out as it was getting closer to the goal. When it got close, the underside of his chin feeling her fluffy tail, Tienvis made a quick lick across it. The fox stirred, mumbling a bit, but didn't wake. He took his own initiative to keep going with his plan. His slick organ started making slow laps across her clit.
Tienvis kept up his ministrations, as a quiet moan was heard in the cave. His eye kept on her to see she wasn't awake yet. She was STILL sleeping through it...And was LOVING IT. A deep, lustful growl emitted from his throat as he kept at it. He can imagine she was now dreaming that some lusty male was licking her clit. Oh, it ain't a dream. It's a REALITY.
Like his lust had a mind of its own, his tongue went through her entrance, tasting the sweetness inside her. The female he held down softly moaned again, only a bit louder that time. And she was still sleeping. With his snout between her thighs, he pushed his tongue a bit deeper into her little cavern, trying to lick at every corner it touched. The fox moaned deeply and openmouthed as her walls were swathed by his saliva. Her hind foot kicked out involuntarily. It barely hit the drake but missed. But involuntarily or otherwise, in his mind, and possibly inside hers, there was no means of escape. She was at the dragon's mercy.
His tongue feels her walls and entrance grabbing around his organ, like his other organ, like the breeding one was the one inside her. He was getting a bit turned on by his own thought. It was almost enough to have his hood grow out of him. Tienvis can feel it squished between his belly and the hard cave floor as it tried to poke out into the world, and it was making it difficult for him to concentrate on the task at hand. He adjusted by only lifting his hindquarters up, the cool, outside air greeting his twitching shaft. Much better.
The muscles inside the vixen was clenching and trembling, like her form outside that quivered. Still with her eyes shut, the fox moaned out again, this time loud enough for HIM to wake up if he was still asleep. Tienvis giggled deeply as he still worked her, not stopping this for another second. Her feet curled inward as her body quivered again, a bit more violently that time. She was close to her climax, his tongue can feel it. Finally, after his organ made several more swipes down the tunnel, the female fox finally cried. Her tunnel gripped and she came, all the while he was still working through her orgasm, juices splashing on his tongue.
Finally the dragon pulled his tongue out of her tunnel, away from her worked up, sensitive pussy. Tienvis swallowed down the tasty liquid his tongue had in delight as he lifted his mouth above her entrance a bit without taking his eyes off it. Then, he was feeling watched. He looked upon the woken vixen staring at him, head off the floor, with narrowing eyes.
Tienvis gave her a smile, "Morning, Scout."
Scout, the red fox, replied, "Good morning to you too, Tienvis."
He inquired playfully, pretending he didn't have any idea, "Were you having a nice dream?"
She answered, "Maybe."
"Was it one of those...WET ones?"
Scout smiled shortly at that. She spoke out another answer, "You should know...You dirty dragon." Tienvis giggled a bit by her statement. She let out a whoosh of air as her fluffy tail flicked on the ground, "God...You haven't gave this good morning licking to me for a while. I was wondering if you've grown bored of it."
"Bored of it?" Tienvis shook his head, "Nah. I was waiting for another right time to do it. Which I oughta suggest...You should be sleeping on your back more often."
Scout responded cutely, "I try to." She squirmed away from his leering face a bit, "But I did tell you THIS before. It's not exactly nice to wake somebody up like that." She rolled onto her fours, "You know that's quite a rude awakening."
Tienvis pointed out factly, "That's not what your mouth tells me."
"Yeah, yeah..." She giggled as she turned to face him, "When you do that, I end waking up happy." She walked back up to him. Her eyes locked with his own when she said, "Funny thing is I never did that to you in the morning."
Tienvis said, "That's because the damn sun always jars me awake before you do."
"And you get a bit grumpy afterwards."
"True." His snout loomed closer to hers, "But this one thing I have always makes me happy later."
"Let me guess..." Scout's head gestured toward his humongous hoard behind her nearby, "Your treasure?"
His gaze wandered to the huge hill of gold coins, sparkling gems and diamonds laying about deeper in the cave. As a result of his 'collecting' he'd done for a long time. He said, "That's one thing..." He placed them back on her, "But no."
The fox giggled, "That's what I thought." Then, the little fluffy creature pressed her tiny muzzle against the drake's big snout. The feeling of her little lips made his scaly chest flutter. Their kiss lasted only a second before she pulled away with a smile on her face. She said when she took a step back, "You always do find me more precious than your hoard."
Tienvis cracked, "Well, sometimes."
Scout glared, "Ass."
He defended, his front end finally standing up above the hard floor, "Give me a break."
Scout then noticed the spear that still showed between his legs. She remarked with another smirk, "Well, I guess I'll give you another break about it...Since you got another hard one for me." She looked up at him, "It's still around...Want me to tend to it before it goes away? I haven't gave YOU a good morning licking for a while now either."
Tienvis declined with a deep, appreciative chuckle, "Love to, but I'm too hungry for other things other than your juices at the moment." He turned a bit from her, not taking his eyes off her beautiful form, "I'll let you do it some other time."
Scout paced around him, her fluffy tail swishing behind her, "Ok. Let's get going. I'm hungry for stuff other than your tasty cum too anyway." Tienvis joined her side-by-side, heading out into the world beyond the cave.
*****
The sun shined over the canopy of the forest as Tienvis continued to lap the water from the fresh, cool river, till the thirst from the food he'd garnered from his hunt was satisfied. The liquid dripped off his snout after he lifted it off the river. He sighed in relief, then stared at his own self in the flowing water, seeing that the blood he earned from the hunt was washed off. He was also having a minute of self-reflection. Many thoughts rushed around in his head. Many about him, and his little mate...The fox....Scout.
Scout...She was a lovely creature. Always fun and happy, and a bunch of times horny to keep company with. But he didn't always think that way about her. At first he'd thought the little one was annoying and a bit intrusive...Especially when she gives him a hard time about his treasure. But over time...He grew fond of her...SO fond of her to say the least.
How he met her was...Unexpected. It was one day when Tienvis was having a stroll across the forest when he heard a scream. He rushed to check it out and found that Scout was trapped in a fallen hollowed out log, cornered and threatened to be killed by a human hunter. Hunting was a sport too, other than food. He thought that man was just after her for her skin...To probably lay it out on his floor at home like a rug...Or hang it up on a hall...Or just to sell it for coin. Whichever was the case.
Tienvis came up to that man and asked who was screaming, since he didn't exactly know who it was at first. That human replied it wasn't him. The dragon was sure it came from that log, and peeked in to see it was Scout. Apparently it wasn't some human girl in deep trouble. Other than understanding what humans are saying, and can speak human himself, he, like some dragons but not all, can understand what animals are saying too, and can understand that certain dragon's words. A weird sort of gift, as some would say.
Upon finding her, Scout was scared to death. Too frightened to even run out of the log while the dragon had the human distracted. She was only staring back at him with fright filled eyes. Surely the dragon would've thought there was nothing much he could do about it and left that creature alone to her death. Hunting always involved death. He hunts things to kill for food all the time, and he had killed foxes too in the past. It wasn't any different. But then...Looking right in her eyes...He started to feel sorry for her. For the first time, he was feeling sorry for a creature about to be hunted. He never felt that way to such mere creature smaller than a common human. Perhaps it was because he'd never looked one in the eye before he killed it.
Tienvis then pled the human hunter to let her go, earning a responsive retort. The fox finally had the guts to run out of there out of sight, and that INFURIATED the hunter more. He called Tienvis a stupid, meddling lizard and the blue drake roared him to shut up, or he'd be skinning HIM alive. Then the drake, reluctantly, offered him a few tokens he has back in the cave since it was revealed he wanted that fox's fur for money. Tienvis led that human back to his cave after they've came to that agreement, and shortly paid him off and left. Meanwhile, Tienvis was alone in his cave, relaxing after that stroll and going through that trouble. Giving away his treasure wasn't exactly EASY. It was hard for him...Since those coins were SHINY.
While relaxing, he had a visitor showing up at his cave. He thought it was that human returning for more payment, but as it turned out, that fox came to see him, after following him and that human to where he lived. She wanted to thank him. Tienvis was appalled at her presence, and told her to get out. But Scout didn't leave. She also asked for a favor. A BIG favor.
She wanted to stay in the cave and live with him...Because he was a dragon who can protect her from anything, and she'd thought it'd be a best place for her to live at...For a vixen such as herself.
Of course, Tienvis didn't LOVE the idea. He always wanted to live alone in his cave. He didn't want any company living with him, and told her to go back home. But then it was revealed she did not have a home. She left her den and her family so she could start living on her own out in the world. She didn't wanna go back and feel like a failure...Thinking she couldn't handle it.
Then...He started to feel sympathy for her. He knew the feeling. Originally, he used to live in a dragon clan, but one day, he left because he wanted to live out in the world alone. He thought that was for the best...For himself. Some dragons do do that, wanting to live on their own away from their clan. It was natural.
Tienvis agreed to let her stay, on the condition she didn't give him TOO MUCH trouble. Scout was ecstatic about it, much to his irritation. It was unbelievable. A dragon letting a lesser creature stay with him in his cave. It was totally unbelievable.
At first, the drake really did find her annoying and intrusive...But over time, he was starting to like her, through all the chats and hunts he had with her. He was thinking having that kind of company wasn't so bad. He actually liked being with her. Then eventually, as unexpected as having a cavemate...His feelings for her changed...To a way of having her as his mate. He was reluctant to tell her about it, afraid of how it'll look to her, but as it turned out, Scout was thinking the same way about him...Despite what they both are.
So then, after much talking, she gave him his first blowie, and gods, she can fit a bit of his shaft in her mouth. She sucked him till he was shooting some white goo down her throat and covering her with more on her hide. In return, Tienvis gave her her very first licking...Till her erratic cries of pleasure shot at his ears. That was their first time showing their feelings. And they became mates.
If other creatures such as other foxes and dragons found them in their cave together laying close together, they'd probably assume they're unlikely best friends, but none would expect they were mates, and they're happy together as mates.
As Tienvis looked at his reflection still, he looked sad, his ears flat against his skull. Well...More like SEMI-mates. They weren't really FULL mates. They never did...Mate in the proper way. How can they? Their sizes wouldn't let them do anything like that.
And...It bothers him. It honestly bothered Tienvis for a long while now. He always kept thinking back when they first showed their feelings, and couldn't do the one thing above everything else that'd make them full on mates, and had questioned to himself if their relationship will work out forever. They can't mate, NEVER. And even if they did, even when she's in heat...Nothing will happen. He's certain of that. Scout did mention something about hatchlings before and asked him what he'd thought about them. The dragon just put on a brave face and said 'I dunno, they're kind of annoying.'. They did share a laugh about it, but afterward, when she asked that question and talked about them...It made him wonder and worry at the same time.
If Scout was imagining THEM having a hatchling, or a 'cub' in the case of her being a fox...He'd feel sorry for her. Even though he's not too sure of having and raising one, doesn't really think of himself as a good parent honestly, but he'll still be sorry that he can't give her what she wants, if she shall ask.
Perhaps she does understand that it won't happen just like he does...But a part of him still feels bad for her.
Is she thinking about having a hatchling now? He's not certain...
And although she probably isn't, but is she kinda sad that they can't ever mate properly? He's not certain of that either. A part of him is afraid that she has been thinking that at times and is feeling sad...On the inside...And won't show it.
He'd feel so sorry for her for that too. Actually, he does now. He almost hates himself for not being a fox like her.
Tienvis let out a sigh, whirling around and trekking through the woods back to where he left Scout. How can things between them change? How can they mate properly? How can they push away those limits?
A couple minutes later, he found the vixen just where he'd left her, sitting in front of the dead carcass of a deer, eating up a spare deer leg he gave her. The blue scaled dragon put on a smile for her as his tail swung back and forth behind him. As he got closer, Scout noticed him coming with her ears perked up while she was eating. She pulled back her bloodied face away from the food, tilting her head to the side and asking with a grin, "What are you smiling at, sweetie? You found something funny over there?"
Tienvis replied, "What would I find funny around here?" He sat on his haunches beside her, "I guess if you mean other critters that are as small as you screwing each other, then no, nothing funny over there at all."
Scout frowned, "I wasn't thinking that." She rolled her eyes, "Seriously...You are a dirty dragon."
He shrugged his shoulders with his tail curling around him, "Well that was the only thing I can come up with. Can't think of any other funny thing that'll happen here. The woods will be the woods...Unless you go to the village, there are plenty of FUNNY things in there."
"I know." She ripped off another piece of meat off the leg.
Tienvis asked, "What funny thing did you think I found?"
Scout answered after a swallow with a smirk on her muzzle, "A carriage full of gold."
He spat, "You serious?"
"Not really." She giggled, "But knowing you being a 'collector', why shouldn't I think that?"
He shot his head to his right, "Good point." Then he pressed her for an answer with a playful gleam in his eyes, "Hang on...Why WOULD you say a carriage full of gold? There something you're not telling me, you scrawny little thief?"
"Ha ha ha!" She laughed and shot back, "I'm never a thief! In fact I'd never steal food from another creature if my life depended on it. If anybody's a thief it's you. Don't throw that accusation at me when YOU 'steal' all the time."
The drake argued with a serious look, "Hey, I told you a million times, my hoard is not a result of theft. ALL of it is pure payment...At times because of my bravery, and other times because I'm a dragon and any traveler that don't live in that village that so comes across me must pay to live."
Scout shook her head in a playful way, "But we both know the latter is not the truth."
Tienvis smirked, his tail tip tapping on the ground and his wings fluttering on his back, "Yeah, I just scare the coin out of them. Gotta LOVE them shiny things."
"You really are a thief...A ridiculous, but brilliant one." She laughed at her own crack, and he joined her. Then she stated, "Perhaps you might wanna steal some good food for me from the village. I could use some roasted pork. I haven't ate any for a long time."
He nodded a bit, "I'll keep that in mind later." Scout went back to eating her meal while he just sat with her, watching her...Thinking about his problems in their relationship again. He almost broke the smile thinking about it.
He can't show her that he feels bothered about it...He might worry her. He doesn't want to do that.
After Scout chewed down another part of the meat, she looked to him and said, "Hey, Tien...Try not to get worked up or anything, but..."
Tienvis pressed, "What?"
She finally replied, "...I MIGHT go to my family's den after I'm done eating."
He has met the family of foxes she used to live with. A mother, father, and two brothers living in a burrow underneath a huge tree. When they met him, they were shocked at Scout's friendship with a dragon. A big thing like him. But Tienvis has gotten along with them soon after, and he shared some food he catches with them. They were all good friends with each other...Till one day Scout told her whole family about their mating relationship.
Tienvis didn't really care if she told anyone about them or not. He'd do the same if anybody asked, or if he felt inclined. He has before, one time to an old friend, a passing dragon who happened to be in the same clan he was in, not before telling him to keep quiet about it. Of course that dragon had asked questions about their relationship, how they would have hatchlings and all, but alas, Tien didn't have an answer for that.
Since Scout told them what they both are...His relationship with her whole family dramatically changed. They weren't on speaking terms anymore. They all turned their backs on him, especially the parents, ashamed that Scout would choose HIM as her mate instead of a normal fox. That angered him to no end, but they did have a point. A dragon like him can't give a fox like Scout EVERYTHING.
Scout doesn't talk to them much either, even before she made the confession. The trip there on foot, he'd imagine, is a bit of a long one. Back then Tienvis would fly them both there, make the travel there worth faster. But now...Every once in a while, she goes to see her family on foot.
Truthfully, Tienvis would rather tell her to cut her family out of her life. If they don't accept what they are, then she shouldn't see them. But, according to her, they still accept Scout individually. So what could he do? He can't force her to leave them alone...That wouldn't be fair. It'd probably make her feel like a prisoner...And that would make it look like to her family that he was hurting her.
He doesn't want that kind of trouble.
So, when she wants to go, he lets her go...Though he still KINDA doesn't like it.
Tienvis replied without much of a positive tone, "I suppose just for a family gathering?"
Scout took in a deep breath and sighed, "I knew you'd get worked up." She put on a sincere expression, "I'll be alright, Tien. They're my family...They wouldn't hurt me."
He pointed out, glancing away with spite, "Yeah, except for the part about US, saying we're ridiculous and stupid for thinking that way about each other. Your parents mostly never had faith in us." And neither does he, a little bit, but he won't say it.
"I know that, but we've been through this before." The fox leaned in and nuzzled against his scaly side, "I still love them, and they still love me. They, mostly my parents, just want what's best for me. They don't totally mean to hurt me."
Tienvis let out a snort, "PRETTY SURE they meant enough to hurt ME."
"Well you're not a fox, you're a big scaly thief. What can I tell you?" Tienvis shot a glance down to her and she drifted her eyes up to meet his. She assured, "Hey, you know they won't force me to leave you. I'll come back. I'll always stay by your side."
But will she always? He didn't ask her that, he just warned with a tiny smile on his snout, "I trust you. Just don't let one of your brothers step on your tail just to scare the crap out of you."
She let out an embarrassed chuckle, "Thanks for the warning." She stood on her own feet.
Tienvis frowned, "Where you going? Done eating already?"
She turned her back on him, still locking her gaze on him as she twisted her neck around, "Yeah, I think I've had enough. I'm just gonna go ahead and leave. I'll be back home tonight, ok?"
The dragon said, "Wish I could just fly you there. You think you'll be ok going there alone?"
Scout shot back playfully, "Oh stop it. You worry too much."
Tien reminded her of one thing with a smile, "Well, I'm just looking out for the weak little fluff who got cornered by a hunter in a log one time."
Scout let out a laugh, taking a step forward, "Can't believe you still remember that."
He remarked, "Not something you'd forget."
"Well, maybe I'm not scared of hunters now because I've been around you for so long. Next time I'll just attack the hunter and show him I'm not afraid of ANYTHING anymore."
He shot up his head, "Hey, you can try, but I doubt it."
Scout dropped down her head and moaned, "Now who doesn't have faith in someone?" The drake chuckled. She looked at him again as she was walking away for her journey, "I'll be home later. Bye, Tien."
He called back, "See you back, Scout. Be careful!" She trotted off till she was out of sight and left him alone.
Afterward, Tienvis lowered down his eyes to the dead deer, a blanket of doubt swept over him. Maybe she might not listen to her parents too much...But she might take heart in a few things they probably try to tell her behind his back. He can hear all the things they're saying to her now.
He's a dragon.
You can't mate with him, and you both can't have a family together.
He's a poor choice for a mate.
He'll never give you everything you want.
Tienvis let out a sigh as all those words clouded his brain. What is he going to do? Scout never pressed the issue to actually MATE PROPERLY with him, but if she's thinking about it...Perhaps all the time...
He snarled, standing on his feet and swiping the carcass away with a swift of a forepaw. It rolled across the ground a few times before laying in a halt. Tail swung, wings flared out in frustration, he huffed, his mind racing for an answer. There has to be some way. There has to be a way to make them full mates.
How?
Then...Suddenly, he came up with an idea. He perked up his head and ears. Hang on...That old man in the village...He's a wizard of sorts. He's seen him do some strange tricks there before.
That's it! Maybe he can help him out with that problem. Maybe that man can share him a few magic tricks. Not like a dragon isn't smart enough to do one. He proved that this morning. Maybe he can tell the dragon how to grow smaller for Scout so he can mate her, or have her become large enough for him to take her.
Blast it, why didn't he think of that before?!
Tienvis nodded to himself. Alright. While Scout's gone, he'll head straight there right away and talk to that fellow. He'll probably know what to do.
Checking to see if Scout was nowhere to be seen, and with a full belly, he spread out his wings, then took to the skies, flying off to the village.
*****
Beating his wings, wind blowing against his scales, the blue drake saw the village down below. After making a wide circle above it in the sky, he glided down for a landing. Sticking out his paws below him, he landed softly about a few feet from the edge, curling up his wings. Tienvis glanced at the village, seeing several villagers roaming the streets. The dragon padded his way in there, being greeted by some pedestrians along the way. He greeted them back politely as he walked deeper in the village and searched for the old wizard.
A dragon would think walking into a village that's full of humans was insane. Most humankind isn't exactly friendly to his own. But he didn't have any problem with any of them here, not to mention had a problem coming into their home. How this was possible was because one time, Tienvis stopped some bandits from robbing a food carriage being taken to the village, to a tavern and restaurant called 'The Black Sheep'...But not without accepting a tiny payment in return. Ever since that heroic effort, word got around the village, and very slowly, each time the drake stopped some sort of trouble from happening when he comes across it, and then gets paid for his bravery...The people there started to accept him...As their protector.
Though Tienvis lives in his cave most of the time, when he wasn't burning, fighting, and scaring off trouble, he goes there for a casual visit every now and then and finds his little cohorts greet him with happy faces and open arms. Some humans don't like his presence though, but he pays no mind to those little bastards. He can go there whenever, and HOWEVER he pleases.
His little fox companion does go to the village too with him, but only on occasion. Being she's a fox, she was shy and timid around humans, afraid that there are people that could potentially harm her. But each time she goes there, there hasn't been any trouble for her, probably because Tienvis is with her very closely, and she even attracted some friendly attention too. Perhaps it was because she was cute and fluffy, not worth killing and skinning off. She does love that kind of attention, but still...Her fear of being killed by a human does bother her. The dragon assures her he'd protect her, but when she insists she doesn't want to go, he doesn't force her.
Which it's a good thing Scout didn't decide to stay with him and actually go with him today. He wants to make what he learns from that wizard a surprise when she gets home. That is...If he can do it. Can a dragon really do magic? He never heard of such thing. Maybe he will find out if he can.
Tienvis was called out by another friendly, waving face. A bearded middle-aged timer named James. James came up to the dragon and greeted, "Hey, dragon."
Tienvis smiled back, "Aye there, James."
James asked, "What you doing here today? You here to grab some grub for yourself or your little fox of yours, or perhaps you're here to get some coin outta me?" He wagged his finger with a knowing look, "I got nothing, scales, so better just make due with what you have."
Tienvis joked as the human lowered his hand, "I always do, you beggar. You're not in trouble, are you?"
He replied, "Nope."
"Good, then I don't have to help you and you don't have to pay no mind to owing me anything." Tienvis peered around the area, his eyes searching for that old fellow.
James inquired, "You looking for someone?"
"Yes." Tien focused back on the bearded human, "I'm looking for that old wizard your village has."
James said in a confused tone, "Master Yen?"
"Right. I'm merely looking for him cause I never visited him at his house and I don't know where he lives."
"Why do you want to see him? I thought he didn't like you."
Yep, just like a few villagers...Master Yen was one of those that didn't like his presence. Tienvis is surprised that old bastard hadn't done anything crazy to him with his magic yet! At least he had enough manners not to. Course Tienvis knows what that wizard's feelings toward him are like, but he knows he doesn't have much of a choice.
He has to talk to him. He has to ask for his help.
Tienvis replied, "I'm certain of how he feels about me, but I want to talk to him."
James pressed, "Why? What do you want with that old fart?"
The drake explained, "No reason. I...Just want to talk to him about how he knows how to do the things he does. Like that one time he shot those blue sparks out of his hands and they exploded up in the dark sky. I'm rather curious of how he learned to do that. It's a bit interesting."
"Ahhhh." James beckoned, "Well if your curiosity is that bothersome, follow me. I'll take you there." He started leading the way, "Hope you don't get him angry at you or anything...Who knows what he'll do to you?"
"Me too." Tienvis followed behind. What he said wasn't the truth, but he didn't feel inclined to tell him the real motive behind his search. He didn't feel like he had a whole lot of time to explain everything if he did tell him differently. Scout would be back to his cave tonight, and who knows how much information Master Yen will talk him through his lesson, and who knows how much time and practice he'll need before he'd felt ready to use to it.
He'll probably tell James the truth some other time, when he feels ready, but for now...He wants that surprise he's planning for that vixen to be ready by tonight. He needs to use that surprise as soon as possible...Before something unexpectedly changes.
James's words pierced through the dragon's skull as he was still following the human, "You know Tienvis, I sometimes think with a guy who does magic tricks he'd be a much better protector around here than you."
Tienvis shot down a glare at the man's back, "The old one's not really the type. For one, he's old and can't run fast, and two, he doesn't have wings to carry him to danger quickly."
James countered that, "Not unless he can use his magic to transport himself. I heard some magic people can do that. That sounds much faster than flight."
The dragon shot back, "That would be cheating. We dragons travel and fight in both a fair way."
"Eh, I think you're missing out on something. What if you hadn't gotten to me in time and saved me from a murdering bandit? That'd be perfect to help someone as quickly as possible. Perhaps after he tells you how he does that exploding blue light trick, you'll have to ask him if he can transport and have him tell you how. I think a dragon like you can do something like that...I think. I'm telling you, it's a good tactic."
"Whatever you say." Tienvis added, "Besides that, he doesn't exactly do anything much compared to me. On second thought, NEVER." As he treaded behind him, the dragon snaked his head down behind the back of James's head, "Who's the protector of your village again?"
"You are." The human let out a chuckle, then looked back over his shoulder, "But I can give you another reason why he'd be better...He won't be asking for coin after a victory unlike you."
Tienvis snorted, "I beg to differ on that. And please don't give me a hard time about me collecting payments. I already had that lecture from my vixen today."
James asked, changing the subject and looking forward, "By the way, how is your fluffy pet?"
That question formed a smile on the dragon. He rose his head high up and said, "She's pretty good. Sorry I couldn't bring her here if you wanted to see her. You know how she is."
James said, "Well just tell her that I'll bring her a few nice treats if she does."
A giggle emitted in his throat, "I'll be sure to pass that message to her."
They went quiet along the latter part of the trip, till James led him to the wizard's house. It looked old and dilapidated comparing to the other houses in the village.
Tienvis tilted his head, "He lives THERE? I never expected him to live THERE. I've walked past that place more than once and I never thought anybody lived there."
James spoke, "Yeah well, an old house is always fitting for an old timer."
He let out another snort at the sight, "I'm not big on houses...Or in my case, huge, but how can anybody live in there? It looks a bit...Uninhabitable."
"Why don't you ask him? Here, I'll knock on the door." James walked up and knocked on the front door a few times. A moment they waited, and nobody answered. James turned around and shrugged with his hands, "Don't think anyone's home."
Damn it. The blue dragon let out a sigh, sitting on his haunches, "It's alright. I'll wait for him."
James tilted his head to the side, "You're really insistent on meeting him. Is there some other reason you're not telling me?"
He denied, "No." His snout gestured towards the little man, "You go off and do whatever you were gonna do. You see him, you tell him I'm here, alright? I'll see you later. Thanks for the help."
James smiled and nodded, "Alright, you're welcome. Take care." With that, James strode off. The dragon dipped his snout down and another sigh escaped his chest. There's still time left...Morning's about over. Just hang in there for a bit. That old man will be back to his home probably any moment now.
That's when a squeaky voice cut through his troubling thoughts, "Hello?" Tienvis spotted an old human with no beard and hair that's whiter than James's, who also wore a long purple robe.
He was the wizard.
Tienvis formed bit of a smile, then bowed his head, "Good evening, Master Yen."
Master Yen narrowed up his eyes and said, "What's a big, pompous lizard like you doing in front of my house?"
Tienvis shot up his head, shooting daggers back, "Always knew you had a thing for me."
The wizard strolled up to him a bit and spoke with his arms crossed, "If you mean I have such romantic feelings for you, forget it. I SPITE giant lizards."
Tienvis spat out after giving a snort, "You ain't also my type anyways."
He accused, "Why not? Am I not good enough like one of those 'maidens' you've probably whisked away OTHER than our hard-earned coin?"
The dragon retorted, "Spare me that ridiculous story, ok? I came to talk to you." He looked away, "Actually...I came to you to ask for a favor."
"A favor?" Master Yen adamantly declined with a shake of his head, "Sorry. No favors from me."
Tien shot his eyes back to him, showing they were frantic, "But wait-"
But Yen started walking toward his door, "Goodbye!" Before the old one can reach the door, the drake's big frame got in between them with a serious glare. Master Yen stepped back, looking up at him angrily, "You realize what you're doing? You realize who you're dealing with?"
He replied, "I do, but I also don't care. I don't do this sort of thing a lot, but I'm trying to ask for your help. You're not shutting yourself inside your home until I talk to you and you help me."
Yen accused him again, "Help with your dirty deeds? I only use my magic in the name of good, so scram."
"NO." Tienvis took a deep breath and tried it again with a softer expression in his eyes, "Just listen to me...Ok? Can you do that? Let me explain."
Master Yen gaped at him for a long time, before he settled down with a breath let out. He spoke, "Fine."
Tienvis then started to explain, "Look...I'm not trying to steal your coin or have you 'spirit' out a bunch of shiny stuff for my bidding. I already have enough in my cave anyway. I'm not asking you to help me whisk away a fine looking maiden, I'm not planning to. And I'm not asking you to do something horrible for me. I'm not an evil dragon...I'm just a dragon that likes shiny things and mingles and protects innocent humans. I'm far from it. If I didn't care about anyone here, I'd have burn the whole village down, but I never will. And I'm sure you know about the fox that has come here with me. If I hadn't cared for that little thing, I'd kill it, rather than take it with me wherever I go, or let it live with me in my own cave. But...I care for it deeply...Much more deeply than you could imagine. That fox is the best friend I ever had."
He lowered his head down to the wizard's eye level, speaking in a soft, insistent tone, "I'm not a bad dragon...I care. I care about everybody else. Yes, I have gotten payments for me protecting the village, and maybe 'tricked' out a few travelers for shiny stuff here and there, but if nobody had any to spare, or if everybody was tired of it and decided to cut me off from that...I would still protect the village, because I CARE. I just take that kind of stuff because it's shiny, not because of greed. Greed is not what I am." His eyes showed plea, "I'm asking for help, for a TINY simple favor. It's nothing much. I...I have this...Situation, and I don't know how to deal with it. But I think only YOU can help me. So please, you old bastard, just this once...Help me."
Tienvis rose his snout up and flared out his wings, "Look at me. A proud, greedy dragon wouldn't ask for help, but I am." He folded them against his back and went on, "And he wouldn't beg either. I'm doing that too. Please, Yen...Please."
Master Yen stared and blinked, studying to make sure he wasn't lying probably. Then he finally said, "Oh...All right. I suppose you do care about things. Maybe I'm wrong about you." His hand motioned to the blue scaly creature in front of him, "But if you don't mind me asking...Why have you come to me exactly? What is your 'situation'?"
Tienvis felt he doesn't have a lot of time to explain everything, but maybe he should just tell him the truth. For actually listening to him, he does owe the wizard that much for that. Tien shot his head back at the house, "Let's talk at the back." Master Yen nodded and they both went along the side and out at the back of the house. The dragon first made sure the coast was clear, then asked the wizard, "Are we clear of wandering ears?"
Master Yen responded, "I think we are. Now, what's troubling you, dragon?"
Tienvis narrowed his eyes and demanded, "Listen, before I tell you, I want you to promise to NEVER tell anybody else what I'm about to tell you. Only I can tell someone it, not you. Understand? Can I trust you?"
Master Yen waved him off, "Sure, fine, I promise. Now tell me."
That's about as good as it'll get. Tienvis began to explain, "Alright...It's about that fox I mentioned..."
The dragon told him everything, making the story as short and to the point as he could. Honestly a part of him can't believe he's telling a human, a magic human at that, that also doesn't like him all that much, the truth. He is wondering how their relationship will look in his viewpoint. Would it be like the dragon from their clan, shocked but curious and happy? Or would it be like Scout's family, angst and disgust?
After hearing the truth out of the dragon's snout, Master Yen actually giggled for the first time since they started talking to each other. He muttered, "...Amazing."
Tienvis tilted his head, "What? My situation?" He roared, lashing out his tail behind him, "It's not amazing! I'm really troubled here!"
"No, no, not that, you simpleton." He corrected, "I'm referring to your relationship with the fox."
"Oh." The dragon then held confusion in his eyes, "It is?"
"Yes..." He explained, "It's amazing that a mighty dragon who didn't appear to care about anybody that not only actually does care for everybody else, but also cared THAT MUCH for a certain someone. I would always think dragons wouldn't really love human maidens, or perhaps other creatures for this matter, because they're mostly taken in all for lust. And maybe perhaps this kind of dragon wouldn't have a companion of their own species too, because...It wouldn't return their feelings. I'm impressed with you, dragon. Not only you really care for everyone...But you love a fox, a different creature."
Tien asked, "You really don't mind it?"
The old man replied, "I'm certain most of humankind would've minded if you were with an actual human." Then he shrugged, "But you're with a fox, so you're lucky you won't have flaming torches and pitchforks coming after you." He snickered.
The drake growled, sharply looking away, "YEAH, GOOD THING."
Yen insisted when he felt rubbing on his chest, "Oh, but I wouldn't mind either way." Tienvis looked down at him, seeing that his hand was against his chest, "I mean it, I don't care. I only care about the fact that for the first time I'm impressed that you love someone that much. I was really wrong about you."
Tienvis smiled in an impressed way, "Well, thank you, Yen. Maybe I was wrong about you too."
"That I'd not approve?"
"That, other than your hateful attitude."
Master Yen chuckled, patting the scaled chest, "I don't get mad all the time. I just do when I think someone doesn't care about everything. But you do, so that's good. And I do strange things, and you're a strange creature. We both live in a strange world, and I'm used to any strangeness I come across and know...Including what goes on with you two."
The drake let out a few chuckles, "Alright, I get it."
The wizard gave the dragon a final pat, "Don't worry...I won't tell anyone unless you do. I swear."
He spoke appreciatively, "Good."
Master Yen stepped back from him and said, "So...You really love her that much?"
"Yea." Tienvis looked away toward the horizon beyond the village, "I love Scout so much. Her fur is fluffy like the feelings in my heart. When I take a whiff of her, she smells sweet and peaceful, which not only she smells like the woods we live in...But like her own soul. I love her...I'd do anything to make her happy." Then his ears drooped and his head slumped down a bit, "But I can't do EVERYTHING for her. Her size makes some things beyond my capability. I...I don't know what to do." He looked down at the old human, "Do you know how I can change that?"
Yen replied, "I suppose you're asking me if I have some kind of magic that'll help you change sizes for her?"
He shot his head to the side and shrugged, "That, or make her grow to be mine. I think I've made it clear. Is it possible? Can you help me with that? Hell, can I even do magic myself so you won't have to? Can I make that happen?"
Yen raised a finger, "One question at a time." He dropped it down and answered with a big smile on his lips, "Yes, it is possible. Yes, I can help you. And yes, you can do magic." Tienvis quickly smiled happily at that. He knew it! The wizard then continued, "Anybody can use magic...They just need to know how to use it, and I will help teach you how to make that happen. I told you I would help you, and after everything you told me, I certainly will."
Tienvis replied in gratitude, "Thank you."
Master Yen quipped, "Don't thank me yet, you pompous fool, I haven't taught you anything." Then he raised his finger again with a stern look, "Now listen carefully. What magic I'm about to teach you is not serious as most magic, but it's still not used for evil. You have to take it seriously, and do everything I tell you. We'll have you test it out on a few animals until you know you've got it right, but after that, you heed that magic is not used to do evil things. Understood?"
Tienvis nodded with his tail wagging, "I understand."
Master Yen smiled again, "Glad to hear it. You'll be a fine student." Then he cried out amusingly, "Ha! A dragon student! That'll be a first for me!"
Tienvis giggled deeply, "Don't get too comfortable teaching me, old one. I just only want to be taught with one spell...Or two."
"All right, all right." Then he went to the back door of his house, "Wait here...I gotta go get my spell book."
*****
Fireflies danced around the darkened woods as the full moon bloomed in the sky and crickets were making their noises. Tienvis padded onward back to his home, his heart beating in anticipation, with his mind still on what he learned earlier in the day. The thoughts he were thinking about what he'll do tonight almost made his spear poke out of him!
Hours ago, he was amazed of how much he learned from Master Yen. Well, there wasn't anything much to learn really, and not long to do. It was only a few steps for both a simple growing and shrinking spells. According to Yen, all he had to do was look directly toward a creature of interest, and speak the words of either incantation, soft and clear.
And boy did he master either perfectly! Tienvis tried them both out on a few chickens and a couple goats somebody in the village owns. Surprisingly, he did pretty well, and saw one chicken growing up to the length of a human's head, and one goat shrinking to a size of a chicken, not an ant cause he's sure it wasn't that small. It did make the owner mad though when they saw what was going on, and to make matters worse it was another one of those villagers who didn't like the dragon so much. Tien thought he wouldn't have to deal with them, but he did at the end. That was another human that gave him attitude in one day. At least Yen has begun to consider the dragon as his friend, or Tien would've gone crazy during the lesson by TWO humans that don't like him!
But luckily he didn't have to deal with the owner a bunch. Just to do what he was told and avoid trouble, and since he's done testing the spells on the animals anyway, Tienvis reveresed them by chanting the words for either again and they were back to their respective sizes. Granted, according to the wizard, each spell for different size simply would have worn off in time, eight or nine hours time to be exact, and they'd be back to normal anyway if Tienvis couldn't get them normal at that time, and for some reason Yen himself couldn't return them to their original sizes, but thank the gods he did...Wouldn't want the owner to kill him for not doing what he demanded, not to mention have a HUGE runaway chicken causing some bigger trouble.
Then later after that, Tienvis decided to try the shrinking spell on himself, just to test it to see it'll actually work on him. He did it simply by, as Master Yen instructed, closing his eyes and imagine looking at himself, then say those words. And then...He shrunk down...A lot. He was in the perfect size to take Scout as his mate at that point. He was immensely amazed at himself. A moment later, Tienvis reversed back to his normal size by saying the words again.
Despite the minor inconvenience with the owner of those animals, the lessons were a success, and Master Yen was very impressed by the dragon's proud achievement. Now that he has learned a couple spells, he was ready...He was ready for tonight.
After Tienvis said goodbye to the wizard and thanked him for his help, he flew all the way back to his cave and waited for his love to come home. Course he waited patiently for the vixen, he'd got hungry in the process. Since it was still day, he left to go for a hunt and found something to eat. Then he decided to wander around the forest just to kill more time.
During the course of the lowering sun, Tienvis thought it was time to head back home. He chose to just walk back instead of flying, thinking Scout will still not show up yet by the time he got back. When things got dark, he realized he was a lot further away from home than he thought, but it didn't bother him much since the night's walk relaxed him a bit...Especially when he feels anticipated for what he'll do when he finds her home.
Oh, he can't wait to see the look on her face when he speaks that spell, all shocked at how much she have grown. Though he learned how to shrink himself to Scout's size, he thought of going with the growing spell for Scout. It seemed better for that special occasion...And all just to see her face.
A fox...Grown to a size of a dragon. Nobody in his clan would believe it. Practically NO ONE outside the clan would! He giggled to himself, "Heh heh heh." Tienvis pushed a path through the bushes. His mind was on the beautiful fox. Hope she's doing alright. Hopefully she'd made it back home ok. A little while later, he sees the cave...With his fox sitting out in front of it.
A smile emerged at the corners of his snout. There she is. About time she came back. Scout didn't see him come up yet, but as he was getting closer...He can sense something was wrong. Her head was down, and she appeared to be...Sad. Concern overwhelmed his plans and desires. Something happened...He feels it. What's going on?
Tien's paws stepped on the grass, making tiny rustling sounds. When he got more closer, the fox's ears flicked up from the noise. Scout looked toward it and caught him in her sights. There were tear stains on the fur under her eyes, meaning she must've been crying. Despite that, she started to smile at him. He stopped near her form, and she said, "Hi, big boy."
Tienvis only repeated her word with a smile of his own, his wings fluttering, "Hi."
She softly asked, "Where did you go? Hunting? Walking?"
Obviously she doesn't want to talk about it yet. He can let go of asking her about it for the time being. He answered, "Both. I was here but then I got hungry and went out for a hunt, then I was just walking around through the rest of the afternoon."
"All that time? God." Scout chuckled deeply, "Were you tired of waiting for me to come back?"
Tienvis replied with his head shooting up, "Maybe. It is an excuse to get out and go somewhere."
Scout said, "I don't blame you. I can always imagine you waiting for me while I'm a long way from home and walking back during that same way...And feeling impatient. But surprisingly, I never found you gone, you're always here waiting for me."
He remarked, "Well, I guess tonight I finally ran out of patience."
"First time for everything, and I still don't blame you." She looked up at the night sky, "It's a beautiful night for a walk."
"Yeah." He came and sat beside her, gazing at the sky too. He pressed, "How long have you been waiting for me?"
The words out of her mouth sounded a bit somber, "I don't know...Maybe not long. I'm happy you're back."
"Me too." Tienvis glanced down as he watched his tail curling near her form, his tail touching hers. Scout gazed back at him, grinning as she felt it. In her eyes though, as also shown by her tear stains, she didn't seem real happy. She was still troubled by something.
Could it be her family? Or...Just him and her in general? He hopes it's not the latter.
Tienvis finally spoke to her, "Scout?"
Scout said, "Yeah?"
"Are you feeling okay? You don't seem to be acting much of yourself."
Her smile swept off her muzzle. She looked down and mumbled, "I guess I'm not, huh?"
"You don't look like it, honestly." The blue scaled dragon asked in a voice full of concern, "What's wrong? Did...Something happen with your family?"
In response, Scout nodded slowly, "You can say that."
He should've known. He pressed again, "What happened?"
"Well..." Scout started, "I was just having a fun time spending time with them. It acted just like any normal visit without you around. Things were great...Until..." She hesitated with a sigh.
Tien asked, "Until what?"
Scout finally confessed, "A stranger showed up at the burrow and announced himself. Another fox. A male one." The dragon tilted his head. She then finally gazed up at his face and went on, "He just showed up and came in, then started talking to me...Like he knew who I was. I never met him before, but he certainly knew me. Then my parents told me they know him and had invited them into their burrow before. And so all of us started chatting...And that's when he had this grin and dropped this big question sometime during everyone's conversation."
Tienvis said, "What's that?"
"....'I heard from your parents that you're not with anyone, would you mind if I come to where you live and...Try to start something with you?'" His eyes went wide at the answer. Scout told him, "I know. I was shocked too. And even my mother tried to shush him up. When he said that, and my mother acted that way, I saw something was up. I took my parents outside and demanded them to tell me what was going on. It turned out...They were planning to set me up with him...As mates."
Tienvis spoke with another wide look, taken aback, "What?!"
"I know!" She moaned furiously, "Me, with that guy despite I'm already with someone. During all that time when I'm not around, of all the things they could've planned, they planned out that little scheme behind my back! I was stunned...And angry. I've yelled and argued back and forth with them. They were just playing out their excuse of doing what was best for me, but..." She shook her muzzle softly, "That wasn't what's best for me. That's just...Horrible. After that I ran home without saying goodbye. I ran and ran while crying...Till I was walking. I never looked back. I walked till I came here, and...I guess I started crying again."
Internally, his blood was boiled by the revelation. That's the worst thing her family has ever done to her. They can't accept she's in love with a dragon and were trying to set her up with a male of her species she doesn't love!
That is totally outlandish.
He let out a breath to try to calm himself down. Scout sniffed her nose when she continued after gazing down at the grass, "I just can't believe they'd do that. What did they think was gonna happen? That I'd say yes? Of course I'm mostly a bit horny, that's in a fox's nature, but getting horny with that guy is just..." She cried out, "Ughhh!" She breathed in, and breathed out, trying to collect herself.
Tienvis finally spoke to her with a voice full of pity, "I'm so sorry, Scout. You have the right to be mad." He had an angry flash in his eyes, "I should've went with you. I oughta burn that fox alive for coming on to you...And eat him for a snack."
Scout stated, "That's not gonna do you any good, except fill your stomach. Besides, what's the point? I'm never going back." She gazed to him once more, "I'm done with them. I'm never going to see my family and speak to them again. I'm cutting them all out of my life. I know my brothers didn't plan it, but I'm sure they'd support what my parents were doing. In a big way they are a part of it, so they get cut off too."
"I think that's a good idea." Tienvis factly stated, "What your family did sounds like the final stick to break."
Scout looked down again in sadness, "It was..."
After a long moment of silence, the dragon let out a sigh, "...I'm still sorry for all this. I'm not saying I told you so...But it is for the best. You don't need a judgmental family telling you who to choose to be with."
She said, "Yeah, I know. It's just...All that time, I was thinking maybe they all would accept what we are someday. I guess I finally realize they never will."
He nodded in agreement. Then asked, "You going to be ok?"
"I think so." She scooted more closely to him, nuzzling against his azure scales, "As long as I'm with you, I will be." Tienvis took that to heart, earning a little smile on his snout. They both gazed at the sky, at the full moon again in silence. After for a long time, Scout broke it, "Tien?"
He brought his attention to her, "Yes?"
Scout spoke, "My family demanded this answer outta me before. To why we're both together as mates despite what we are. I told them it wasn't their business. But...I guess sometimes I wonder. I'm sure I know why most of the time, but...I do want to ask you this." She returned his attention with hers, "Why do you think we are together? In fact, why choose to be with me even though I'm a fox?"
Tien answered, smiling, "Other than I love you, and you love me...I think it's because you're a bit like a dragon. You may be afraid of human hunters, but you're strong for a little one. You know how to hunt, hold your own a little bit. And we both like to live on our own away from our families. We like to be independent, even though we're not so 'independent' now. And you're nice, and funny...And beautiful. Heck, likely because of your nature, you mostly seem ready to have me take you with my tongue. I think I did tell you once I never known a dragoness who's that horny. Did I ever tell you that?"
She giggled at that, "Yes...You made that clear."
He went on with another thing, "And I love having you around for company, because you bring me a lot of happiness. I've been with a couple dragonesses before, but as you probably figure they don't bring that quality like you do."
She said, "I never knew that."
"It's the truth." Tienvis admitted, "Ever since you started living with me, I've noticed that sort of energy you brought to my cave. It was odd, but nice and refreshing. And it kinda did make me realize something else...I know I liked living here alone before you showed up...But truth was, maybe I did feel alone somewhat, and kind of was too proud to see it...Till you lived with me."
Scout shortly spoke to that, "I never knew you had felt that way too."
"Yeah." His forelimb reached and wrapped around her, "But I don't feel alone now. Not for a long time. Anybody, including us, can tell we're both like strange outcasts living together, but that's ok. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather spend the rest of my life with than you. I think that answered your question, but to REALLY answer it, about why we're together...Because I don't care what we are...I love you."
"Same here." Scout said fondly, rubbing her furred cheek against him once more, "I remember telling you that night when I confessed my feelings to you that I didn't care what we are. I liked you that much anyway. And I can't think of one fox I'd want to stay with forever. Not one can be so handsome and so blue like you. I never told you before, but that's one of the unique things I like about you...You're blue. I like blue, because it's always bright and sunny like up in the sky when it isn't dark and rainy. You know me, I like days like that. No other fox would ever be blue. Every fox is all the same, but you...You're different."
Tienvis pointed out, "Compared to other dragons, I think you're right."
Scout giggled a bit, then went on, "And you care for what I love and what I want. You never force me to change or force me into anything. I can always tell you're so different than my family, and I've always liked that about you too. And even though you look like a gruff, tough dragon, you can be quite cute sometimes. I think I just like someone so tough that can act so cute."
"Cute." Tienvis chuckled and recalled, "Heh heh...That's what you tell me sometimes."
"It's true. You're cute when the time is right. I love you when you're cute. And because of that, and everything else, like I said before...I'll always stay by your side."
Tienvis just smiled after that, and they were sitting in silence again. Then, several minutes later, with a sigh escaping her muzzle, he suddenly felt the shift of her mood change. He asked in a concerned tone, "You ok?"
"I was just thinking..." She paused for a minute before she let out a somber question, "Tien...What do you think is going to happen to us?"
That caught him off guard, making him rear back his head, "Huh?"
"I mean..." She said, "I know we're happy being together now, but what's going to happen...When I'm gone from your life? I've kinda wanted to ask you this question for a while. I said I'll always stay by your side, but I know I won't forever."
Tienvis asked, a bit surprised by that statement, "What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about when I die. It's just I'm thinking about what you told me before, about how long a dragon lives. You know what I mean?"
She was referring to the fact that dragons live a lot longer compared to other creatures in the world. He said, "I do. What about it?"
Scout shot her eyes up to him, "Try to think about it, Tien. I'm just a vixen, and you'll live WAY past the end of my life...And be alone again. All the things you told me and all the things I told you are pretty nice, but neither will stray me away from the inevitable. After what you told me, I don't want you to live here alone again. My parents plan to die together, not separately, and I want that to be us."
The drake's heart felt so much pity. He hadn't thought about it much before, before and even AFTER he started his relationship with the fox. But now...It's getting to him. That inevitable death will come to her one day, and nothing will be able to stop it.
How could he live without her? She's been so good to him. Where would he find another vixen like her?
His heart dropped. He can't. There wouldn't be another fox like her. Sure, other female foxes would look exactly like her in such detail...But none would be like her. She's the only fox he'll ever be with.
In fact...Maybe the last female of any kind he'll ever be with.
Tienvis spoke in a pity tone, "I understand what you want...But..."
Scout looked away in sadness, "...Yes...No matter what, my life will come to an end sooner than you think." After a very long pause, she let out a breath filled with dismay, "Honestly, Tien...I didn't care how we showed our love. I didn't care if you kept licking me till I came. And I didn't care if I just blow you till you climaxed. But...I see the issue, but sometimes I wish we had done more. Done more...For us to feel more connected than we already are. I always dreamed of having your knot stuck inside me...Like a good fox would stay with me forever....And never slip out of my life. Sometimes...Sometimes I even dream we'd have cubs together. Just watch you nuzzle me while I'm nursing them."
So she does think of them mating properly, and having hatchlings together. As predicted, he felt very bad for her. He couldn't even say anything.
"But..." She sadly went on, "That'll never happen. I guess I'll live with the fact that I'll never have your first knot inside me...And start us a family. I seen the issue, my family warned me, and I didn't care, but...Truth is...I do a little bit. I'm...I'm just so sorry that I'm so small and you're so big and we're so different in species. But that's nobody's fault, I know that. Still...Because of that..." Scout moved herself out of the drake's forelimb, shaking herself then turning to face him, "...I'm sorry I told you all this. I couldn't keep it in anymore. You needed to know what I had thought more than once. Anyways...I'm going to bed." She planted a kiss on his scales, then gazed at his face for a moment, "Goodnight. And thanks for being so sweet to me tonight. You always are." With that, she went on ahead to the mouth of the cave.
Tienvis just sat there, contemplating what he heard out of his mate's muzzle. He should've figured she'd be thinking about things like that. He does see the fact that she'll never leave him and their relationship will work out despite their flaws. She made that very clear. But now he's like her...Worried about their future like he had already, but only this time it's about age.
They'll never do the things she wants before she dies.
But then, one thing came to his mind. No wait... He shot up his head with a wide look. Oh yeah! The plan! He forgot about the plan! They can do one of those things before she dies! Tienvis jumped up and spun around to enter the cave. After his blue form went through the entrance, he saw Scout circling around about to lay down on the cave floor.
As he came toward her, he said her name in an urgent way, "Scout."
She stopped what she was doing and looked at him. The vixen said, "What is it?"
He stated, stopping a few feet in front of her, "What if I CAN knot you? What if I can knot you now and make you feel I'll never slip out of your little life?"
Then her muzzle moved back and forth, "Tien...We can't. You know that. Look, it's alright that we can't. It's just a dream. I'm sorry I worried you. I don't want to talk about it anymore, ok? I just want to go to bed."
"No, Scout." Tienvis padded a step forward, "I know how we can, but first, stand there and listen."
She didn't lie down, she did what he told. She blinked curiously, her ears flicked upward, "Alright...I'm listening. How do we make that possible?"
Tienvis's snout smiled a bit with his tail wagging. He instructed, "I want you to close your eyes."
Scout wrinkled her brow.
He told her, "Just trust me. You'll see. It's a surprise."
Shortly, she did what he told her, shutting her eyes, fluffy tail moving a bit behind her.
Then he began to speak clearly those strange words of enchantment, "Desla grande tiumvia comta parta tru rom-bo ta carvara."
After he finished his soft chant, Scout opened her eyes and asked with a confused tone, "What were you saying? I didn't under-" Then she gasped, like she was feeling something coursing through her furry form.
And then...It began to happen. Slowly, the length of her body, and her tail, expanded out, and her height was growing too. A shocked expression popped on her face as she looked at herself going through that transition, noticing how tall she was getting. Then, not too long...She was now the size of a dragon.
Tienvis chuckled proudly to himself. He did it! Scout cried out in total shock, "Wh-what did you do to me?!" She checked herself out by first gazing down at her chest and her feet, then looking behind her, "My god...I've gotten...BIG!" She locked eyes with his, showing she was REALLY surprised, "Look at me! I'm a giant fox!"
Tienvis laughed with his wings fluttering and his tail swishing, "I see that. You look all GROWN up."
He watched Scout calm down a bit, then her now huge form strode up to stand beside his. Her eyes were measuring the lengths and heights of their bodies. Her voice now lowered, she concluded moments later, "We're about the same."
Tienvis spoke while his neck was twisted to look at her, "Just the way I like it." He moved his blue body to fully face her, complimenting in admiration, "You're absolutely perfect. Dragon size fox...Like a dragon I thought you were."
Scout looked at herself again, "Dragon size..." Then she looked back to him and asked curiously, "Tien...Did you really do this to me?"
He walked up to nuzzle her, his snout and face rubbing into her fur. Even though he does think of her a bit as a dragon, when she was not small and stood as his size, for the first time ever...He felt that he was actually nuzzling another dragon. It felt nice. He said, "I think you can see that I did." He pulled his head back and looked into her eyes, "Well I would've turned things around and just shrunk myself to your size, but-"
The large fox backed up a bit, cutting through his sentence in surprise, "You know how to shrink to a fox's size too?! Gods!"
He chuckled, amused by her reactions, "Yeah, but this is better. The look on your face is exactly what I imagined." He chuckled again.
Scout cocked her head, "I don't understand. How do you know how to do those things? How'd you manage to make me grow? This was never done by you before."
"You're absolutely right." Tienvis nodded slowly, "I think I've got a lot of explaining to do."
Scout concurred with her own quick nod, "You sure do."
"Well..." He began, finally confessing what troubled him for a long time, "I had thoughts that were a bit like yours lately. I had doubts about us. I was worried you wouldn't stay with me for the rest of your life because we couldn't mate."
Scout shook her head at that, "No...I would never leave you."
"Yeah...I know that now." He continued, "But I had thought of that. I thought licking your hole and licking my shaft wouldn't be enough for you one day, and one day you would. I was frustrated I couldn't do what a normal dragon and a normal fox could do. But then...I came up with an idea." The drake asked, "Do you remember the wizard that lives in the village?"
She answered with a nod, "Sure, Master Yen, right? I remember him. What about him?"
"I'm sure you know about his...Magic tricks, right?" He explained, "Well, I thought about him because of them. I thought...Maybe he could teach me how to make something grow or make myself shrink. So I went to the village and talked to him about it, and he taught me how to use that kind of magic. Course, at first I was kind of afraid I wouldn't do magic like him, but as it turned out to my surprise...I can."
Scout responded to that, "Why didn't you just tell me?"
Tienvis chuckled, "Well, I only thought of the idea AFTER you left me today, so there was no way I could tell you about it before. Plus, I was making that into a surprise, remember?"
Scout smiled for the first time since she got big and giggled, "Yeah...Talk about a BIG surprise." That got a giggle out of the dragon. Then she said with a pity look, "Tien...You should've just talked to me about what you were worrying about lately."
He looked down and sighed, "I know...I just didn't want to worry you by bringing it up." Then he gazed back into her eyes, "But I suppose you were worried about something after all."
Scout's smile melted off her muzzle, as she gave him a slow nod with air coming out of her nose, "Yeah..."
Tien said, "Look, Scout...I know you're afraid you'll die before me...And die without me tying us together...Among other things." He showed her a smile on his snout, "But I've got us a chance to explore our love more deeper than before..Least before you're gone. I may probably not give you an egg...Since you're not dragon and not in heat...But you can at least have your first mating with one...And more than once."
Scout reformed her smile, light beaming in her eyes. She glanced back at her hindquarters, "You're right."
"So..." He moved up when she was about to look at him, and lovingly rubbed his face against hers, "Are you mad at me for making you grow?"
"Are you kidding me?" The fox closed her eyes and returned the affection, "Of course not. I'm happy you did this. This is...Amazing."
"Glad you think so." Then he growled lustfully, and lowered his snout down to her neck and took a long lick. Scout moaned deeply, shuddering from the sensation. He then gave it a nip before saying, "So...You thinking what I'm thinking?"
Scout replied when she felt another nip, "Oh...I'm sure we're both thinking the same thing." She sees him now staring back at her.
Tienvis said with lust and love in his eyes, "In that case..." His snout leaned in a bit, and licked across her lips. Then, she shot her muzzle forward and kissed him. He started kissing back. He sat on his haunches, cupping her face with his forepaws and was kissing her some more. With their mouths the same sizes, both opened them up wide, and easily locked jaws, making their next kiss deep.
Their tongues wrestled around, tasting the love they had toward each other. Scout moaned into his mouth, and Tienvis felt his heart quicken and his chest flutter than ever before. They could never kiss like this before, not before Scout grew big. Their kiss was the most passionate they ever had. Sure enough, that passion was making Tien's hood rise out of his slit.
They finally pulled away, each others saliva stuck in a long string before breaking. Scout was breathing heavily, seemingly riled up. Tienvis looked back without glancing away, heaving in out too. Scout looked down and saw his red shaft already poked out into the night. She formed a cunning grin, then without a word, she lowered herself down with her head close to between his legs.
The dragon let out a gasp of surprise. He quickly asked, "What are you doing? I thought you were wanting to go ahead and let me climb on your back."
She giggled, her eyes trailing up to see him, "I didn't give you your blowie yet, remember? I'm HUNGRY for your cum now."
Well, he can't argue with that. His tail tip tapping on the floor, he grinned and replied when her nose and lips were so close to his twitching cock, "All right." He shot his eyes toward the treasure hoard, "But let me lay down on that first."
Scout shot off the ground, "Trying to make it fancy, huh?" She quickly licked across his snout, "Sure. Let's go." She went ahead toward that hill first, followed by the blue drake. As he followed behind her, he was gazing right toward her nether regions under her tail, those pink lips surrounded by the white fur on that part of her body. His snout quickly snaked out with his tongue sticking out, brushed the fluffy tail away with his nose, and teasingly licked it.
"Ah!" Scout cried and they stopped in their tracks. She shot back with a laugh, "Hey! Not yet, big boy!"
Tienvis pulled back to throw her a smirk as her tail hid her behind again, "I'm not the only thing that's big, you know." He moved up to stand beside her, "When I made you bigger, your sexy ass has gotten bigger...And I lust for it even more."
Scout joked, "Wow, and I thought I was the horniest one in the relationship." He chuckled at that.
They both went back to their pace. When they were near the hill of treasure, Tienvis crashed his back onto it with his wings splayed out the sides. Several pieces of coin and gem slid down from the force of his landing, clicking and clanging. Tienvis shifted around, getting comfortable as best he could on the mound. Then he looked at the fox as she was getting in position in front of him, "Okay." He said, grinning and spreading out his hind legs, showing the erectness that's still between them, "Engulf my treasure, foxy."
Scout laughed, "'Foxy'?"
He said, "Yep. It's a different term for 'sexy'. I've called you that before, but I think foxy suits you a lot better."
She hummed, holding that smirk on her lips, "Hmmm...It does. I think I like it."
"Good." He urged her with a shaking cock, "Now c'mon, foxy...Big boy's waiting for you."
"Whatever you say, handsome." Then she took the huge, twitching member right into her mouth. A sharp gasp escaped the dragon, wriggling by the hot moist mouth. She literally took almost ALL of it! When she was little, her little mouth couldn't do that. She only managed to take a little bit. She still made it work before obviously, but gosh he can really feel the heat in her mouth!
The fox bobbed her head up and down, careful not to let her teeth graze against the sensitive organ. Slowly, a pleasured moan rose up in Tien's throat and came out for her to hear. He can hear deep giggling coming from the female as her muzzle still worked at it. He feels her tongue swishing and lapping on his pink tool, making it twitch and him shudder a bit.
Tienvis just lay his horned head back and relaxed while she did her thing. This really is the best blowie he'd got from her. He closed his eyes, picturing that it was her rear end engulfing his hood for a moment. Oh, he can't wait for that to happen. Like her mouth, the other end is ready to be taken by anything. He can almost feel it.
The drake moaned, thrusting up his hips a bit like he would to the other hole. Meanwhile, Scout moved her muzzle up and down in a slick pace, wanting to get him to climax as soon as possible. He rose his head off some gold coins and snapped his eyes at her. He begged, "Don't slow down, beautiful." Scout continued her movements without hesitating. Very soon, he can feel that familiar pressure building up. He was getting close. Tienvis shut his eyes tight, snarling and baring his teeth. He thrusted up his hips to time with the fox's mouth going down. His tail went rigid, his digits curled in. The vixen kept at it as the climax coursed up through his shaft.
And then, white gooey cum shot out at the end and into her mouth. Tienvis shivered and curled up his lips to snarl, hips involuntarily pushing up as he was still shooting his essence. He can feel Scout's mouth still around his pulsing shaft. She wasn't pulling away, she was gulping his essence down as much as she could. Swallowing a lot than she couldn't have before. From all the past blowies, there's usually a bunch of it that's spilled on her fur and the ground. Now, he figured in the back of his pleasure filled mind, she wasn't about to let most of it go to waste again. She was gonna have what was giving to her.
Like she said...She was hungry for it.
And it showed.
Finally his cock quit pulsing, and she let his hood pop out of her mouth. It began to shrink back into his slit as she licked her chops. Tienvis groaned, gazing back at Scout was still licking her lips. Scout asked sexily, "How was it?"
"Whew..." He responded in amusement, "That was the best one you gave me. Your mouth couldn't take all that before. Feels like...I was TOTALLY inside you."
Scout giggled, "Thanks for the hint, Tienvis, but I'm happy you enjoyed it. I tried to make this one better than the last ones...Without disastrous results."
Tienvis satisfyingly stated, "Well, disastrous results or not, you succeeded." He rolled off the hoard, having Scout back away. He shook himself and stretched out his wings from being stiff cause of the position he laid in. He let out a sigh, turning to the giant fox, but what greeted him was the fluffiness of her tail brushing against his face. He snorted when some of it kinda went inside his nose and tickled it. As the tail moved off his view, he saw her with her back turned, looking back with a vulpine, wanting smile. She shook her hips in a tantalize way, silently urging him to do what he planned to do to her.
The blue scaled dragon smiled back and obliged by stepping forward. Scout moved her tail to the side, watching expose his face to her 'foxy' vulva. Without hesitation, his tongue went out and made a slow, long, straight lick across the same but now bigger lips he had licked before time and time again. Scout's long, drawn out moan echoed out of her mouth, being music to his ears. He teased her with another outside lick, then pushed his slick organ into her depths.
Scout gasped, trembling when she felt the familiar invading tongue of his enter her. Tienvis started to lick inside her, tasting that all-too-familiar sweetness his tongue always tasted. The vixen's legs were shivering under her weight, but she held herself, even pushing a bit back. That gave her a slight, bit audible gasp. The drake continued to work her, not stopping till he feels all those pleasured juices flow out of her.
Over time, Tienvis's girth started to show its sexy head out in the night, recovering from the blowjob and becoming hard and thumping again. Scout cooed quietly when she feels the tongue swirling around in her cavern. Her muscles clenched around it as Tien continued to tantalizingly lick her. Her tail slid right across over his horned skull. The handsome dragon's slickness swiped at her walls, making them clench again, then he pushed it in deeper, coaxing another long moan out of his lover's muzzle.
Finally, he can tell she was getting close when her breathing was a bit labored. She pawed at the hard ground as she seems to feel the incoming climax. Scout spoke to the dragon behind her, "Tien...I'm about to-"
After swiftly pulling his muzzle away from her a second, he devilishly told her, "Do it." Then he drove his tongue back through her clit and swirling it around in her cavern as fast as it could, quickly driving her to her peak. Then her muscles squeezed tightly again, and she screamed up to the ceiling. Her cum spilled on his tongue as he pulled it out of her gaping hole again. The fox was breathing in and out from her ecstasy, her feet continuing to shake. He licked her now sensitive lips, and it made her quiver and suck in a sharp breath.
Scout spoke his name in a husky, slightly impatient tone, "Tien..." She looked behind her and begged with those pleading eyes, "Don't tease with that thing anymore. I'm not a little girl anymore. Give me what I've wished for so long. Please...MOUNT ME!"
Tienvis smiled at her eagerness, "Your wish is my command." Right then, he began to climb on her back, her shaky feet holding the added weight. Scout was breathing in anticipation, while Tien's snout reached to her to plant a tender kiss. After adjusting himself on her back a bit, grabbing the underside of her hips with his forepaws, he was poking at her rear end, aiming his length to do what they both wanted for a long time.
Then, the tip felt her hot, sensitive clit. He froze, a exciting thought rang in his head. He's about to take her in this way. He's gonna take her as his FULL mate.
"SWEETIE." Scout cut through his thought with a demand, "PUT IT IN!"
With that, Tienvis did as she commanded. His hips pushed forward, slowly. First a quiet gasp shot out, then a pleased, satisfied hum echoed out of her closed muzzle. Her hole and slick muscles took his huge cock easily, squeezing it as she was feeling the fullness she wished for. The dragon slowly pushed on as he was halfway done, listening to her hum some more in pleasure. He felt the end of the journey with all his shaft disappeared in her behind.
Tienvis huffed, nuzzling the back of her neck lovingly. He commented happily, his member feeling her embrace, "You feel so...Fantastic."
Scout glanced back and huskily replied, "So do you. Feels a lot bigger than I imagined." They both shared a giggle. His blue tail found her fluffy tail. With his more prehensile, he coiled them together, signaling the love they shall share forever. The vixen commanded, growling a bit, "Alright...Fuck me."
The blue scaled dragon didn't deny her. He started to pull himself back, till his cock was about back out. Then he quickly shove it back in, having the female fox yelp from the sudden movement. Then, he was beginning his rhythm, slowly and softly hitting her. Her tunnel grasped around him each time, embracing that fullness Scout desired over and over again. She drew up her muzzle and cooed with closed eyes as she was taken from behind, Tienvis planting the end of every slow thrust hard as he could.
Scout begged, "Tien...Faster."
Tienvis was smirking from her urgency, and sped up his hips. Scout was crying in pleasure, the sweet song carried around the cave. He sounded his own pleasure too as both their hips slapped together repeatedly at a fast, hard pace. His foreclaws dug and pricking into her fur as he held her for dear life. He fondly licked the back of her neck. While Scout looked back, huffing from the thrusts in her rear end, Tienvis locked jaws with her for another deep, passionate kiss. Scout rolled back her eyes and took it gratefully, their tongues wrestling each others once more. They soon broke the kiss, and he still continued to ram her. Scout bucked back against the thrusts, timing them.
Aside from all the licking, all the mating she was getting were having Scout's feet about to totally give out. She worked that out by only easing down her chest to the hard floor, while her backside was held high by the dragon's rocking hips and pleasure-giving cock. Scout cried lovingly, "I love you!"
Tienvis, his front end still above, groaned, taking her with another quick thrust, "I love you too!" The drake rocked the vixen's body over and over again, while leaning down still pushing back her hips against his. Scout shrieked as he pounded her. Later during their lovemaking, he can feel something building up at the base of his spear. Something he hadn't gave since the last dragoness he mated.
His knot.
He was about to give her his knot.
His first knot inside her.
Oh, it's gonna happen. She's gonna get another thing she wished for.
Tienvis felt his banging knot against her, wanting to be let in through her wonderful portal. Scout was crying happily when she got the idea what she was feeling other than his shoving member, "Oh yes! Give it to me! Knot me!" He growled and snorted in response. He was getting more erratic with his thrusts. His claws were digging in her deeper, probably leaving some droplets of blood. His wings flapped, ready to flare out.
He can feel it...
He's almost there...
Scout screamed as loudly as she could, "KNOT MEEEE!!!!!" Finally, Tienvis gave her one final thrust, and popped the knot into her, trapping her with him. Scout shrieked when her tunnel squeezed so tightly around his shaft. Tienvis shot up his head and roared with his wings flaring, his life-giving essence releasing in her depths. The fully-bred fox moaned in pure bliss as she was finally being filled, another thing she dreamed coming true.
The dragon leaned his front side down over hers, breathing out heavily. The vixen twisted her muzzle to seek out his snout. He saw it and kissed her again. Their tails uncoiled and their hind ends slowly lowered down to the floor behind them as they still shared it.
Scout said with a satisfied smile after they broke it, huffing a bit, "...That was..."
Knowing what she was going to say, Tienvis finished for her, bopping her nose with his "A lot more better than you imagined?"
Scout giggled, "For my first time having your knot...Yeah." He giggled too. Then she stated this, "I'll tell you this...I've had a few foxes knot me in the past, and know what having one stuck in me is like, but a dragon's...Gods, now I feel like I want to encourage ALL vixens to grow big and tall and meet drakes and have THEIR knots stuck inside them."
Tienvis's eyes went wide, "It was THAT great?"
"Great? More like very impressive!" She let out a tiny laugh, "I never felt a knot that felt like yours before. It is WAY so much better than a regular fox's. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about."
Tienvis smiled, "Why thank you."
"No." Scout replied appreciatively, "Thank YOU for planning all this and doing this to me. Above all things leading up to this, I absolutely loved it."
Tien nuzzled her, "I'm very happy you enjoyed it." She nuzzled back. Then she started to twist her body around underneath him. It hurt the drake, when his knot still in her painfully moved, but he managed to stand through those pains. With effort, she managed to lie on her back, stomach-to-stomach with him. Snout and muzzle connected again as they were in that new position, making love in the afterglow of their first mating with each other.
Finally, they pulled away after running out of breath. Tienvis laid his head down on her chest, while Scout was relaxing below him. Scout soon broke their silence, "Hey, Tien?" He raised his head to look at her. She asked, "This growth...Will it last forever?"
Tienvis answered with a shake of his head, "No. The spell I enchanted on you is not permanent. In a matter of hours you'll be back to your normal size. But if you want to, instead of waiting for the spell to wear off, I can reverse it early, like right now, by saying those words again."
"Oh." Scout replied, looking a bit saddened, "No...I'm waiting for it to wear off."
He tried to cheer her up with a smile, "Hey, cheer up. This won't be the only time. I'll make you grow again, or make myself shrink. It's all purely simple."
"I believe you." She sighed, "It's just stupid that I have to be small again. I kinda like being big. Actually...I was thinking about staying big...Forever."
Tienvis frowned, "Gosh, you seriously want that?"
She smiled, "Sure I do. Other than it's cool, I feel so...WHOLE. Thinking about it now, I don't think I ever felt that way being small. Never. I feel like being this huge is what I really am the whole time, what I was supposed to be born as."
Tienvis responded with a serious question, "Scout, I understand what you want, but are you SURE you want to be big forever? I mean if the spell was permanent, which it's not, you won't be your old size ever again. Hell other foxes may fear you."
She replied, one of her ears twitching, "Well I don't give a fuck. Maybe I want to be forever huge. And you know what? Maybe I'd even scare my whole family to death, teach them for shunning you and I as mates and for setting me up with that fox today."
Tienvis's snout formed a smirk, "Well, ok, that's one thing good about it." Then his expression went back to being serious, "But put that aside...Are you really sure?"
Scout's paw stroked against his forelimb, "I am. Do you even know how to make it work?"
Tienvis shook his head, "No, but Master Yen might know how to make it permanent. I'll ask him about it later."
She pressed, "You will?"
He stared at her eyes for a moment before nodding with another smile, "Yeah. If that's what you want and don't wanna back off...I'll do it."
"Thank you, Tien." Then her face acted like she wanted to bring up another subject, but was a bit shy to bring it up.
Tien pressed her, "Now what is it?"
"Well..." She told him, "I was also thinking...MAYBE other than ask him if there's a permanent spell for my growth...I KINDA want you to ask him if there is another spell. Kind of like...A CHANGING spell."
He tilted his head, "What do you mean by that?"
"I mean..." She clarified, "I mean like...Change me into a dragon." He reared back his head in surprise. She laughed at his reaction, "C'mon, big boy, you think of me as a dragon, so why not change me INTO one? Like have me be a dragon like you forever? Master Yen has spells that can change sizes...Perhaps he has spells that'll have someone change forms, to a different species. Do you think he does?"
Tienvis looked away, humming, thinking for a second, "You know...I never thought of that. All that time I was just thinking about either of us changing sizes and then we'd mate properly." He returned his eyes on her, "That never crossed my mind at all."
Scout urged, "Maybe you should ask Yen about that too. I do want to be a dragon too. I'm absolutely sure of that. That way it'll give me another purpose to be big. I would just fly and wouldn't have to walk so many distances. I wouldn't have to be so afraid of human hunters again. And..." Her tongue gave his chin a lick, "I won't ever die before you. I can be with you forever...Till we both die. You won't be alone without me."
Smiling, Tienvis agrees, "That doesn't sound like a bad idea."
"Yeah, and what's more..." The huge furry creature let out a cute giggle, "Me and you can have some cubs together." He showed a surprised look again, as she went on, "I let you mate me in this size, but you said so yourself...When I'm in heat during this size, it won't matter. You won't be able to give me a cub. But if I'm a dragon when I'm in heat..."
The blue drake nervously chuckled, "...You really want a family with me, do you?"
"Of course I do, silly. I sometimes think of that. You're the first male I ever wanted a family with, practically the only one. I never wanted to start a family with other foxes I met before. I really want to start one with you...Because I think you're right for me." The dragon looked away, looking nervous. The female fox asked with concern, "What's the matter?"
"Scout..." He explained, gazing back into her eyes, "I would feel so bad not giving you a hatchling. When I heard what you said outside, I did feel bad and I always would. But...The truth is...I don't think I could do it."
Scout held hurt in them.
"It's just...I don't think I would be a good father. I never raised a hatchling before. I don't think I would mind having an egg with you, but I'm not so sure I would do a great job at being a father. I mean...What if I just lost sight of it and it got killed by something? Hatchlings are defenseless. They always are. I wouldn't forgive myself if that happened."
Scout put on a look of assurance, "Tien..." She stroked his side with a forepaw again, "You don't know that. You haven't even tried. That's why you're scared. You just don't know until you give it a try. I know you. I know you can protect our cub. It's pretty much exactly how you took me in and looked after me...Only your new guest will be much smaller and cuter. And besides, it's not like you'll be raising it all alone. I'll help you. We'll both be great parents. I know we can...If you'll let it happen. You'll be a great father, I know it. I'd even promise you will." Her head stretched to nuzzle under his chin, "Well? Do you trust me? Will you do it?"
Maybe she is right...Maybe he's wrong. Maybe he's thinking too much of what if and he's just afraid what COULD happen.
Maybe...He should give it a chance.
Maybe he should be a father. Just give it a try.
Yeah...He'll do it.
With that confidence inside him, Tienvis slowly started to form a smile...Then said, "All right." She pulled her head back to look at him. He continued with so much sureness in his eyes, "I will change you to a dragon, and when the stroke of your heat comes...We'll have a family."
Scout kissed him lightly on the snout, "Oh, thank you so much, sweetie. I knew you wouldn't let me down."
Tienvis then added with a raised talon off the ground, "But first let me see if all that's possible. Don't get too excited yet."
Then she narrowed her eyes at him, "Well you better not make what you learn a surprise either and just tell me."
He playfully said, "But where's the fun in that? I think I want to see your face when I just change you into a dragoness without telling you."
"Just tell me and I will be surprised, you jerk."
He giggled, then said, "Fine. Whatever you want."
She grinned, "Thank you." Then she spoke lustfully, "And by the way...Before tonight is over...When your knot deflates, we're having another go. This may look over, but I ain't done with you yet."
Tienvis shook his snout playfully, "You accused me earlier that I was the horniest one in the relationship, but you should eat your words, foxy." Then he nipped at her neck, making her gasp, "But alright...I ain't done with you either."
When he licked her neck, Scout replied with a satisfied hum, "That's what I thought." They started to kiss again till the dragon was ready to pull his hood out of his mate.
*****
Over a Year Later
The afternoon sun rays shined far behind him at the entrance of the cave as Tienvis watched over an egg laying on several blankets donated by the little cohorts from the village.
He smiled fondly at it. He still can't believe it. For all his life he never thought he'd be a father. Looks like he's gonna be one now. If his family knew about this, they'd be proud of him. Maybe someday he'll bring his hatchling, when it hatches, and the mother to the clan and show them what he's done and what he's become. He can imagine their faces.
"I'm back, Tien."
He looked back at the voice, seeing a scaled winged presence enter his home. Padding as she came up to him, Scout furled the wings on her back.
He smiled at her return. And there was his mate, the mother, returning home from her hunt.
As promised to her, such changes had happened a year before. Turned out that old wizard did have a permanent spell to keep Scout a huge creature forever...And turn her into a dragon too. When he talked to Master Yen that one day and learned about the spells, and how to do them, Tien excitedly came back and told Scout about it. And very soon, he tried them on her, and thus came the magnificent result.
Now she was just a dragon like him, walking up to him full of grace.
From the life-altering change, her body kept the colors from her previous life, her orange on her back, her sides, tail and face, while both the underside of her chin and underbelly were white, and the black tips on her ears. The only differences with her now is she has wings, horns on her head, and scales, and no fluffy tail. She may look a bit the same as before, but she looked absolutely dazzling as a dragoness. Though he does miss her cute, fluffy little form sometimes, and he'll always fondly remember what she was formerly, that doesn't undermine the fact that he loves her more as a beautiful dragon. She may have changed in form, but luckily for him, she does still give off that unique energy no other dragoness has that makes him happy, and also still shows that vixen horniness a bunch. He wouldn't live with her if she didn't have those qualities carry on from her previous form. He always loved Scout for those things.
She may have changed, but she still has them, and he can live with that.
And now these days, she's more braver when it comes to human hunters. Learned the joy of flight and how to breathe fire. And to top it all off, she goes to the village with, or without her companion, without fear of death, socializing with humans thanks to her speaking like them in their tongue, on the count of lessons taught by the blue drake, and even protects the village along with her mate too. The thing about it is...The people she's protecting don't realize she was the little fox Tienvis had brought to their village for visits more than once. She wanted to keep her previous life a secret from anyone and that was ok with Tienvis. If anybody including James asked, Tienvis would tell them that she decided to leave him and find a home of her own. That was good enough for an explanation.
Everyone doesn't know the dragoness he's with IS that fox. Well, except Master Yen. He definitely knows who she is probably on the count of his dragon student, but he certainly wouldn't tell anybody either. He's always good at keeping secrets.
Tienvis glanced down at the egg on the blankets. Another thing about Scout that has changed...Is she's gonna be a mother. Many days after he changed her into a dragoness, when she was in heat, he mounted her just as they had planned, and he felt that their time to make life was the most special time they'd ever done. More special than when they became full mates.
He'll never forget either of those times...And he'll never forget the times his egg grew inside Scout...And the first time he laid eyes on the egg when it finally came out of her and into the open world.
The egg looked beautiful...Just like her.
And now they both can't wait to see how beautiful their hatchling will be when it hatches.
Scout came and stood beside him, locking her eyes on her egg. She asked, her tail swinging behind her, "How's our cub doing while I was gone? Keeping it out of trouble?"
Tienvis corrected her with a playful smirk, "Hatchling. You're not a fox anymore, Scout, and eggs doesn't contain fox cubs. We call them HATCHLINGS."
She giggled, throwing her playful eyes at him, "Oh, I know, sweetie, I know. I just can't help calling our baby a cub...It's fox instinct."
He remarked, flicking his tail at her, "Well try to imagine saying that in front of another dragon. I'm lucky I ain't embarrassed by you because of that yet."
She nuzzled against him, "I'll keep working on it. Just takes time."
He nuzzled back, "You better, foxy."
A laugh shot out of her snout. She pulled away and said, "Now who's having a hard time calling something that they're not?"
The blue drake chuckled, "Hey, I'll put at it this way...No matter what you are, you'll always be foxy, foxy." He winked, and it made her giggle cutely. Then she gave him a kiss. Then he looked down at the egg and answered her question, "I'm doing well keeping our hatchling out of trouble. I'm such a great father so far."
Scout responded, mildly amused, "That's a start, but wait till the egg hatches."
"No kidding." He let out some air, "I'm happy...But I'm still a bit nervous about what the future holds for him."
His mate told him, gazing at their egg again, "You'll do all right, my handsome drake. You'll do just fine when he shows his face. I know it."
Tienvis rolled his eyes toward her, nodding a bit, "Yeah...You're probably right." He looked to her with a quirked brow, "Speaking of it, how do we even know now that it's a 'he'? We don't know that for sure till it comes out of its shell. It could be a girl. And by the way, we still hadn't come up with a name for the hatchling yet."
"I know." Then she drew back her head to yawn, "But I don't want to discuss it right now. I'm sleepy." She snickered, "Our all night mating didn't give me much sleep this morning."
Tienvis teased, "That's your fault. You were horny."
Scout waltzed over to the pile of blankets and the egg, "As usual, I suppose it is." Stepping on them, carefully standing beside her egg, she turned around and slowly dropped to her stomach. She offered, throwing a smile at him, "Want to come join us, big boy? There's always room for three."
Tienvis accepted, "Sure." He strolled on the blankets too and lied down on his belly, the egg resting between the two adult dragons.
They both looked down at their egg, then stared at each other, giving each other fond smiles. Scout remarked, "You know, Tien? I still can't thank you enough for all you did for me. Another fox would never do all the things you've done."
Tienvis said with a small shake of his head, "I probably couldn't have done all those things without you. You living with me was what started all that."
"I guess you're right. If I didn't start living here with you...None of this would happen."
"But you did."
"You're right...I did." She stretched her head over the egg to nuzzle him, "I love you."
He rubbed back in return, "I love you too." Then she laid her head down, closing her eyes for the nap. Tienvis looked around the cave for a moment before he could think about napping. He gazed over at his nearby treasure hoard that's still around. Across the year, the wealth had grown a bit here and there thanks to the efforts of him and his dragoness companion.
The blue dragon gaped at the mound for a little bit, before trailing his eyes onto his family close to him. He smiled at the egg and his mate, then lowered his head to join them in slumber. He likes shiny things, and all the shiny things he's earned, but...There is some treasure not on the mound. The treasure he's thinking about is the treasure he'd cherish and love the most way more than his own hoard.
His family.
His family...Are his treasure.
