After winning a kiriban on FA from my wonderful dragon bro RVasil we decided on a short fun little story for a new avian character of his and Guan in a college setting. Being musicians, breath control is incredibly important to us, and what better way to illustrate that than by building a friendship with certain benefits? Please be sure to check out RVasil's content below, and many thanks to him for writing this for me! I was all too happy to assist in polishing. More polishing to cum if you continue on. ;)ORIGINAL SUBMISSION: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21451400/ and https://www.sofurry.com/view/1087279

"Is this the real life?"

"Is this just fantasy?"

The trees gently swayed with the wind and the clouds lazily flew through the sky, carried by the gentle breeze. Students walked about, chatting amongst themselves as the sun cast its radiant orange glow, streaking across the horizon. It was a relaxing afternoon at the Cultural Arts building located at Landchester Campus.

"Caught in a landslide."

"No escape from reality."

The piano continued to play, as the large crocodile looked at his students lined up at the stage. Three rows of students formed the men's glee choir as they sang in unison, as part of their school activity. Their voices reverberated in the empty music room, his keen eye looking at each and every single one of them all focused at their task at hand. The crocodile's hands moved to the next key and pressed it, moving to the next part of the song. Almost immediately, he began taking mental notes in regards to their individual performances as various aspects of their singing came to his attention.

It was almost ten minutes later when the choir singing activity was over and the professor was giving his remarks to the class. Professor Ludo arranged the spectacles on the ridge of his snout and looked at each of his students with scrutiny. "You all did a good job today. You can rest knowing you all passed this week's practical test." Audible sighs of relief came from the students in the room. Some were even giving high fives to each other. "However, I have always been a strong believer that persistent practice will yield incredible results which is why I want to call the attention of the following students."

The atmosphere in the room dipped almost immediately and each of the students looked at each other nervously. Professor Ludo wasn't strict but a very serious teacher when it came to the improvement of his students. He always wanted what was best for them, as he knew all too well how harsh the music industry was. He had seen his fair share of dream inspired and gifted youngsters be chewed alive and spit out by the monster that was the industry. It was better to tell them now than later.

"Kevin."

Everyone's attention turned to the cheetah who immediately perked up in attention. He visibly gulped before speaking up. "Yes, professor?"

"You're doing a good job singing, do not worry. You're not in any trouble. What you need to work is your expression."

"My expression?"

"Your emotions," the crocodile clarified. "Your voice is coming out very nicely but you look stiff as a statue. You need to smile; I need you to feel the song. "Look up to the skies and seeeee~" Let the audience seeeee~ that smile not just on your face, but all over you."

The cheetah nodded, heeding his mentor's words very precisely. He then sat back down as the professor called the next student. A German Shepherd stood up as he was given a very short critique on his singing talent. "James, you're well on your way to improving and reaching the next level, but you're not articulating the notes on measure 68-76 sharply enough. I need you to practice on that when you get the chance."

"Understood sir."

Professor Ludo relaxed then glanced at the final student he needed to give his critique on. "Kero?"

The young American Robin's ears perked up, and he felt his heart skip a beat. He was so sure he had done a good job today too. He stood up and looked at his professor as the crocodile started back at him firmly. "Can you stay behind after class? I need to talk with you privately."

Eventually, class was dismissed and Kero watched his fellow peers pile out of the room one by one, all eager to end their days on a high note. The professor had praised all of them collectively for a good job in singing and that they should practice more on their own in preparation for the next evaluation. The entire notion made Kero nervous. What was it that the professor wanted to tell him that it needed to be said privately? The entire afternoon meeting made him begin to have doubts in his own abilities. As the last student left the room and the door closed, the young avian was left alone with his crocodile professor who was erasing the markings on the whiteboard.

"I'm sure you're wondering why I asked you to stay behind, Kero." The bird nodded to himself as the crocodile turned to face him with a gentle smile on his face. He reached under his desk and placed the whiteboard eraser in one of the drawers. "Don't be too nervous, I just wanted to ask you a personal question."

Kero's brow rose as he looked at the professor grab a spare chair and sit in it lethargically. He motioned to another one. "Please, sit."

The bird walked over and took a seat in front of his teacher. "A personal question, sir?"

"Yes." He then sat upright and fixed the glasses on the ridge of his snout. "Why do you sing?"

"Uh, what?"

The large scaled instructor gently laughed at the puzzled expression of the Robin. "Why do you choose to sing, Kero? I want to know your motivation."

It was an odd question that was for sure. Kero didn't really understand the line of questioning his professor was taking but he decided to go along with it regardless. "Well, uh, it's what I like to do," he answered earnestly. "Ever since I was a kid I always sang. It was a no brainer that I would pursue a music career when I grew up."

"Did your parents ever influence you in your choices?"

"My parents?" Kero stopped briefly to evaluate the question. "Uh...no, not really, I guess. I mean, they were always supportive of me in wanting to make a living off something music related."

"They wanted you to follow their footsteps," the professor said, looking at his student. "I'm well aware of what family you belong to, Kero. You don't have to be humble about it."

Kero nodded, letting out a sigh. "Well yeah, my parents wanted me to sing just like them."

Professor Ludo looked at him seriously. "Did you ever feel the pressure to perform well?"

The young avian was silent for a brief moment. "I...guess so, sir. I mean, I want to graduate, to succeed just like anyone else in my class. I want to get good."

"And wanting to be good is a very common goal. What would life be if no one had aspirations? Each and every one of us aspire to be something greater than what we are now, yes?"

"Yes, sir. I want to be successful just like my parents."

The crocodile's eyes narrowed. "Are you sure about that?"

"What do you mean, sir?"

Professor Ludo clasped his hands together. "You're a good singer, Kero. You show promise and innate talent, and dare I say, on a higher level than your classmates. You were clearly born with the gift of your parents' skill." Kero felt his chest swell a bit with pride. Then his professor continued speaking. "But I have to say this with certainty: you seem to be having trouble keeping the high notes."

Kero looked at his teacher in confusion, prompting the crocodile to add, "What I mean is, you're running out of air. You're not breathing correctly; I keep noticing you taking breaths at the wrong parts of the song. You have such a powerful and present voice, and when you breathe at the wrong time, it stands out like a sore thumb. Your singing suffers from it. Breath control, Kero. Understand where you need to take a breath, how much air you need, and how to carry that breath all the way through the phrase."

Kero nodded, heeding his professor's words to heart.

"Do you understand?"

"Yes sir."

The respected glee instructor then looked at him seriously. "Good, you need to master this very important skill. Otherwise, I may have to seriously reevaluate your performance which is why I was asking you earlier if you really wanted to sing."

The undertone of the professor's statement hit Kero right in the face. "Yes sir, of course I want to sing!"

"Duly noted. Because otherwise, well...there's always the band right across the hall next semester. Or I'm sure Ms. Daven in Concert Choir could open a spot. Dismissed."

Kero felt gloomy as he walked down the empty halls of the building. A huge weight seemingly kept his shoulders slumped and each step he took felt numb to him. He wasn't a stranger to the prospect of failure--he had always strived to do his best at his faults in order to secure his victory--but this was something on a different level entirely. Professor Ludo's words, particularly "re-evaluate", reverberated in his skull, repeating over and over again.

"What am I going to do...?" he asked himself. The first thing that came to mind was obviously to practice. His other classmates were working hard to better themselves, he should be doing the same thing. They didn't give up, so why should he? That sentence was so simple yet powerful. There was no point in wallowing in despair. It was better to do something rather than do nothing at all.

A few minutes later he was at a secluded area of the park that was far enough from passing people that he had a bit of privacy for himself. He stood underneath a shade of a tree, his backpack resting at the base. He closed his eyes and focused. Deep breaths took place and he decided to use the first song off the top of his head to use as practice.

"Can...anybody...find me...somebody to love..."

So far so good. He started out pretty well, making sure to take breaths at the right moment so as to not impede his singing. He strained his ears as best as he could, making sure to pick up on the minute differences in his tone of voice. He continued with the song, singing it off the top of his head. Coincidentally enough, Queen was one of his all-time favorite bands and he had nearly squealed with glee upon realizing it was the song they were going to use it the first time he received the music.

That was when he noticed what Professor Ludo had pointed out to him.

He reached a part of the song that required him to sing out a high note and he ended up faltering. The red Robin clicked his beak, finally seeing his mistake. He mentally smacked himself for not realizing it sooner. What soon followed after was Kero practicing endlessly for what seemed like hours to him. Students came by every now and then, idly giving him curious glances, but never intruding on his practice session. There was one pair of students that happened to pass by when he was taking a break, and Kero ended up eavesdropping on their conversation as they passed by. A gazelle and a Doberman were chatting among themselves as they walked.

"Do you think Markus will like this, Emily?"

The gazelle smiled at her friend. "Of course he will! He's your boyfriend, Tyler. You worry too much."

"I know..." He giggled. "I can't help it."

The two slowly walked out of earshot as Kero placed his bottle of water back into his backpack. Kero cleared his throat and stood back up. He glanced at his watch and saw that it was already well into the afternoon. He was about to start singing back up again when he heard a distinct tune coming from the far corner.

"Hmm?"

It was a smooth tune, almost like a whistle but not quite. He recognized the notes from a popular pop song, yet they were being played by an instrument that at first sounded alien to him...but then was growing vaguely familiar. On a whim, he decided to check it out. He could spare a few minutes anyway. He walked over and followed the tune. He rounded around the corner and happened to see the fellow playing the instrument, who was standing under the shade of a tree.

The first thing that struck out to him was the person's green scales. Though hard to tell at first, he looked like a cross between an iguana and a gecko, each of the animalistic traits showing themselves equally. His scales reflected the light of the setting sun, making him stand out in the middle of the clearing. He had his eyes closed and was focused solely on playing the instrument he held in his hands. To Kero, it looked like a harmonica, but it didn't sound like one...but what DID it sound like? It was on the tip of his tongue...what was that instrument?! Kero could immediately tell that the person was very well versed in playing the mysterious instrument he had in his hands. The tune was soothing, and was coming out very nicely. It invoked an emotion of tranquility as the notes played and entered into the young bird's ears.

A few moments later, the music stopped playing, breaking the spell that Kero was seemingly put under. He was surprised he listened to the entire thing. To his surprise, the green lizard smiled at him--almost as if he knew he had an audience the whole time--and spoke for the very first time.

"Hey there. Were you enjoying that?" he asked.

Kero smiled back at him. "Uh, yeah," he answered, "Sorry if I was distracting you."

The reptilian man shook his head and walked over to him. Kero was slightly taken aback. Being this up close, he didn't expect the fellow to be over seven feet tall, towering easily over him. "No no, you weren't a distraction. Besides, it's only fair. I heard you practicing earlier on my way out."

Kero laughed nervously. "Oh, I see." He shrugged. "I'm not that good."

"Really?" The iguana asked, surprised at the statement. "You sounded alright to me. You're a music student, right?"

"Yeah, I am."

"Kero...you're Kero, right?"

The young Robin blinked. "How did you know my name?"

"Well you are on the roster. I've seen you around and heard you sing in class." The iguana raised a finger. "Also, you're the son of Tawny and Koma, correct? Not many other birds here who have that distinction."

Kero chuckled, his identity being fully realized. "Yeah, I am. To whom do I owe the pleasure?"

"Oh yes, pardon me! Guan. The name's Guan." The smiling iguana extended out a hand to which Kero just happily shook back. Despite the stark difference in height, the reptile's air of friendliness made Kero feel as if he were on equal footing with the tall lizard.

"Nice to meet you, Guan." Kero's eyes darted to the instrument he held with his free hand. "I'm not familiar with that instrument? What is that?"

"Oh this?" Guan smiled even wider as his eyes lit up, showing him the mysterious instrument. "It's an ocarina."

"An...oh! I've heard that before! Like from The Legend of Zelda?"

Guan laughed. "I see you're familiar with that game! Good to know. But yes, it's an ocarina. I'm aware of the Ocarina of Time jokes, so I'll save you the trouble."

"Damn it, I was going to make one too."

"Ha ha," Guan smirked at him, "I don't mean to be rude, Kero, but it's getting late.I need to clean up here and get some food in my system. I'm done practicing for now."

"Oh...I'm sorry for intruding."

"You weren't." A thought then crossed Guan's mind, his brows perking up, "Want to come with?"

Kero thought for a moment but then his body answered for him. A loud growl escaped from his stomach. He could only smile coyly in response. "I guess so."

A few minutes later, the two were at the burger shop located at the Triangle, the place designated by the campus to be the main food source for students. Various stalls lined the area and numerous students hung around, each happily talking with one another. Others were studying, some were sleeping, and most were passing by or looking for things to do to kill time.

"There you go, sir," replied the clerk at the counter as he cashed in Kero's orders. "Enjoy your meal!"

"Thank you."

Kero walked back to their table carrying his tray of food. He sat himself across Guan who was happily munching on a stack of waffle fries.

"Good old greasy American fast food. I know it's bad for your health," Guan then reached over and took a rather large bite from his cheeseburger, "but SOOO good as a guilty pleasure every now and then."

Kero chuckled. "Tell me about it. I should actually lay off it. I'm getting a bit too fat myself."

Guan cocked his head to the side and took a quick glance at Kero's physique. True enough, the young Robin was sporting a somewhat portly midsection. But far as he was concerned, he wasn't fat, far from it. Full-figured was a better choice of words. He was frankly in better shape than most other people he had seen. "What are you talking about?" Guan remarked with a chuckle and a swallow, "I'm bigger than you are. Then again I'm bigger than most people here, ha ha. Ahem...do you work out though?" he asked, taking a sip from his soda.

"Every now and then," Kero replied honestly, "I jog in the morning. Eat less when I can will myself to do it. But it's tough. I have to focus on school. Besides, I can't resist the temptation of pizza."

Guan snickered at that, "Anyone who loves pizza is fine by me. So Ludo's your professor, right?"

Kero nodded, taking a bite off of his own veggie burger. "Professor Ludo, yeah. He's my teacher in my singing class. I actually need to get better."

"Well, we could all do better. I still stand by what I said that you sounded great. Better than most of the people you hear singing on the radio." Guan shrugged his shoulders, his tone of voice becoming oddly bitter for a second, "Mostly autotuned garbage nowadays."

"Thank you, Guan, but no, I'm not that good. Mr. Ludo says I have to work on my breath control."

Guan's brow rose. "Your breath control? What do you mean?"

"I have this habit of breathing at the wrong places in the song. My lung capacity isn't that big and so my singing suffers from it equally." Kero's expression turned grim for a brief moment as he said the next statement. "If I don't fix it, Professor Ludo has to kick me off the class and recommend to take a different class instead."

Guan blinked, "Harsh."

Kero visibly slumped in his chair as he took a measly bite of his burger, Guan looking at him in concern before smiling and reaching across the table to pat his large palm in what he hoped was a reassuring manner upon the robin's shoulder, "Hey, you're worrying too much. You have the ability to pull it off, don't you? I'm sure you have it in you."

"I want to believe you," Kero said, trying but failing to sound optimistic. "My parents would probably scold me if I ever get kicked off the class."

"I see. The pressure's that strong then?"

Kero nodded solemnly. "I mean, I want to succeed just like them. Just like anyone. It's just tough man." The avian shrugged then took a sip from his soda. "Then again, nobody said it was going to be easy."

"That's exactly how I feel!" suddenly exclaimed the big reptile with a thump of his hand on the table loud enough to cause Kero to jump a bit and more than a few heads to turn their direction. Guan blushed a bit at that, lowering his voice but still looking quite passionate.

"Kero, never give up just because it looks tough. It can't be worth doing if it's too easy, you know. Think of practice like a road with branches all around. It's easy to get lost and tempted by the branching paths all around you, but stay on the main path, and it will lead you forward to where you belong. Even if it feels like you're walking backwards, it's all the better when you start going forward again. More than just believing it? Know it, experience it, feel it, step by step. That's how you'll get to the top, no matter how many times you fall. You'll get back up just that many times and keep climbing until you make it. Just gotta keep going, and I know you can do it. Even if you feel like you have no idea what you're doing, push through the hard until you find the crack in the armor. I promise you, there's always a hole, and with enough effort, you'll get through it no matter how much you have to press. It gets easier every time, I promise you."

Guan beamed with infectious positivity and surprising earnestly after he had finished his brief speech, clearly hoping this would have a strong impact. Kero just looked at him as if he was crazy.

"Um...I honestly didn't need that much of a strong pep talk. It's not like I'm going to war, Guan."

The iguana laughed sheepishly, feeling like a fool after his sudden tirade of encouragements. "Yeah, I suppose that WAS a bit much. Sorry, it's just--"

"You don't have to explain yourself," Kero said, a smile creeping up the side of his face. "Thank you."

Guan smiled back at him warmly. "Anytime."

"I admit, I didn't expect you to be showering me with positivity all of a sudden. We only just met, but I appreciate the notion regardless."

"Heh, well that's just who I am. I see people in need, and I do my best to help them have a bright outlook ahead of them."

"Is that so? Are you sure you're a student? You're sounding like a counselor."

Guan just laughed at Kero's joke with an embarrassed wave of his hand before the robin gave him a thumbs up. "You're making me feel pumped. Really!"

"Good." A thought then crossed Guan's mind. "Tell you what, why don't I help you? I know a thing or two about how to properly inhale and blow air out correctly."

"You mean like a tutor?"

"No charge."

"Really? I appreciate it, but I know you're busy and all."

The lizard shook his head, "Not too busy for this. It's perfectly fine. Besides, I always opt to help those in need. It's what friends do." Guan especially smiled back at the happy look he got from the robin at the last statement he added.

"You're too kind, you know that?" Kero then whipped out his phone. "What's your number?"

Kero's day ended with him feeling content. The prospect of imminent failure that was a byproduct of his overthinking mind was now a thing of the past. Meeting Guan was either a stroke of luck or divine intervention. Whichever it was, he was grateful to have a friend to teach him how to fix his conundrum.

Days followed and Kero and Guan meeting became the norm. As their schedules permitted, they managed to find just the right times to hang out and practice with each other. Kero would learn proper breathing techniques from Guan, and Guan would have an audience for whenever he opted to play his favorite tunes with his ocarina. In their times of leisure, they would often find themselves just chatting amongst each other, about anything and everything. Their conversations ranged from comic book movies, to videogames, to schoolwork, and to family life. Their combined love for music and shared interests with one another inevitably became the glue that held them together.

"So aside from performing, you also compose music?" Kero asked one day in one of their many breaks.

The lizard nodded, taking a sip from the bottle of water he held in his hands. "I do it at the side. Are you interested in listening to it?"

"I'd love to hear what you've made!"

A few moments later, Kero plugged an earphone into one of his ears and played the music that his friend had composed himself. Soothing, tranquil and peaceful; the three words that came to mind when he heard the slow music begin to fill his ears. It had a gentle beat to it with a tender tone backed by an impressive rendition of notes played by an ocarina. It was masterfully done by someone doing it in their spare time.

"What do you think?" Guan asked, doing his best to remain neutral as to not impede Kero's judgment.

"It's great!" The bird chirped, handing back the lizard's phone.

"Thank you." Guan smiled sincerely. "I'm actually looking into professional music production. I want to show people that the ocarina isn't just a Zelda instrument, that there is so much more it can do. Too many people overlook its potential."

"Well you sound like you're on the right path there. I'm sure you'll become really successful in no time. Just promise me one thing though."

"Promise you what?"

Kero smirked. "When you get successful, don't forget about me okay?"

Guan chuckled before grabbing hold of Kero and locking his head underneath his armpits and proceeding to ruffle his head feathers while he flailed and squawked. "Of course not, you silly songbird! Couldn't forget about you any more than you could forget me, right?"

Over a week passed and Sir Ludo's evaluation came to the fray. Kero was nervous as he stood there with his classmates, preparing themselves for another round of scrutiny by their professor. The crocodile was seated in front of the piano and was watching them idly as the students placed themselves in their respective choir positions.

"Alright, as I've told you two days before, we will be singing 'Somebody to Love' by Queen for your evaluation today." Although it was silent, Kero could hear his classmates' gulps. He felt his own feathers stand on end as he took deep breaths. "Everyone ready?"

"Yes sir."

"Good." The crocodile placed his fingers on the keyboard. He made brief eye contact with each of his students before opening his mouth and counting down. "Five, six, seven, eight..."

"Can...anybody...find me...somebody to...love..."

A few minutes later, the evaluation ended and Professor Ludo stood in front of the class, looking at each one of them sternly. His expression then relaxed as he congratulated his class for all passing the evaluation. A round of applause echoed in the room as the students let out audible sighs of relief. Even Kero felt like a huge weight was lifted of his chest. The clapping ended when Professor Ludo stood in front of them once more and began addressing the people that needed to work on their craft.

"Kevin."

The cheetah from last week stood up. "Yes sir?"

"Good job on nailing your expressions correctly. I could probably give you an Academy Award from that performance." The class rumbled into quiet laughs at the professor's joke.

Kevin chuckled, feeling embarrassed but equally happy for the praise. "Thank you, sir." He then seated himself as the crocodile called the next student.

"James."

The German Shepherd from the back stood up. "Yes sir?"

Professor Ludo looked at him seriously for a brief moment before breaking the tension with a warm smile. "Good work on articulating those tones that I told you about. You're already well on your way to mastering it fully."

James released a sigh of relief he didn't know he was holding. "Thank you, sir!"

Kero gulped. He knew he was up next. He nearly jumped when he heard the crocodile call his name.

"Kero."

"Yes sir?"

Guan was standing by himself at the park he and Kero usually met up before they were going to go about and do their thing. Today however, he felt restless. The American Robin's evaluation was today and the waiting was getting to him even though he was patient on the surface. After all, he didn't want his friend to fail, especially after all that practice they did with each other.

As he glanced at his watch, he knew he didn't have to wait for long for him to know the results. A bell rang from within the music building and students began to file out. Guan looked for his feathery avian friend from amongst the crowd and eventually saw the striking red feathers against the mass of bodies. He waved him over and Kero started to walk towards him.

Guan could barely contain his excitement. "So! How'd it go?"

Kero's expression was flat and almost hollow looking. Guan did his best to decipher the bird's expression but couldn't find anything remotely positive from it. That it might be a grim outlook began to dawn on him. "Didn't work out?"

The bird shook his head, "No. I didn't, something else did..."

Guan raised his brow, "Go on?"

"I PASSED!!!"

Guan nearly toppled over as the bird shouted in front of him. Kero was beaming from ear to ear and he couldn't help but feel very happy of his progress. He extended a hand forward to help Guan up to his feet, apologizing about his sudden outburst.

Guan just laughed, feeling relieved, then proceeded to hug his friend tightly enough to practically lift him on the ground. After spinning in place once, he then set the dazed bird down with a light smack to his shoulder. "You tricky red-breasted booby! Don't scare me like that!"

Kero just grinned at him, feeling light as a feather. It was like a weight was lifted off his chest. Guan nudged him on his shoulder, smiling quite widely now, "So! What did Professor Ludo tell you?"

"He told me I was doing great! A great improvement over how I was doing previously." Kero's chest swelled with pride. "He told me I passed with flying colors!"

Guan laughed, happy for his friend. "See! What did I tell you? The talent was in you all along. I knew you had it in you."

Kero scratched his head feeling a little self-conscious as some students were giving them side glances. But at the moment, he did his best not to care. He was happy that he passed and that was the sole thing he focused on. He looked back up at Guan. "Nah, I owe it to you man, without your help I wouldn't have passed the test!"

The iguana smirked at that, blushing a little and rubbing the back of his neck. "Bah, it was a team effort, let's leave it at that." He then clapped his hands. "Ooh! We should celebrate! How about the mall? You don't have any more classes left, right?"

Kero thought for a moment. "No, I don't! What about you?"

"Same," Guan answered. "Come on, let's go! My treat."

A few minutes later, the two were riding inside the bus. Kero and Guan were seated next to each other, with the former seated next to the window. Kero watched as the university began to disappear behind the numerous other buildings that dotted the campus around them. He felt something nudge him at his side, prompting him to turn his head and see Guan looking deep in thought.

"What is it?" he asked out of instinct.

Pulled out of his musing, Guan blinked and looked down at the robin with a shrug. "Hmm. Well, it's probably nothing, I was just thinking."

"About what?"

Guan was silent for a few more seconds, briefly hesitated to voice his question but in the end decided to go with it. "Are you sure you're fine with hanging out with me every day like this?"

Kero's brow rose. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, don't get me wrong, I like having you around. Just...I don't want to hog you if there are other people who want your attention, you know."

The young avian waved a hand at him dismissively. "You worry too much, Guan. I should be saying that statement to you. What made you say that anyway?"

The lizard shrugged again. "Eh, just making sure that I don't eat up too much of your leisure time, that's all."

"Oh please, I have all the time in the world. If I wasn't doing this, I'd be at my dorm playing videogames or maybe studying." The bird shrugged his shoulders. "Studying never seems to end, even when I just passed my test."

Guan gently nudged him in the shoulder. "That's the music world for ya. Still, you don't go out to parties like most students here? You know, rocking out and jamming to the latest album with your buds?"

"No, I'm not the party type, frankly," Kero answered flatly. "Most of my other friends are busy doing their own thing too so it's pretty much me and you." The young avian smiled up at Guan. "I enjoy the company anyways."

"Aww, likewise, you flatterer," Guan replied back with a rather wide grin on his big snout as an idea came to mind, "I was gonna suggest this after we eat, but... You don't have anything planned for this weekend, do you?"

Kero thought for a brief moment. "Not really. What's on your mind?"

"Well, there was this movie that I've always wanted to check out...you up for it?"

And so on that weekend, Kero and Guan found themselves meeting up once more at the local mall to watch a movie together upon the latter's recommendation. To Kero's distress, it ended up being a monster horror movie, the monster being an ancient furless creature that walked on two legs, had two limbs, and shouted loudly at the heroes as it wreaked havoc on the neighborhood after accidentally being reawakened.

Afterwards Kero and Guan stepped out of the movie theater with the former shaking subtly, Guan noticing it with a concerned look. "Kero? You all right there?" the lizard asked.

"I-I'm fine. I'm just not a fan of horror movies." A shiver travelled to his spine. "I never knew humans could be so scary."

Guan pouted sympathetically and patted him on the shoulder, feeling somewhat bad for dragging the poor avian with him to see this without telling him more about the film. While he found it cute that Kero was screaming and clinging onto him throughout the more intense portions, a part of him still felt responsible for scaring the pants off the little bird. "My fault. Tell you what. Why don't we grab something to eat? It'll get rid of the shaky and bring your spirits back up. Sound good?"

"Y-yeah...I'd like that."

A few moments later, the two were seated at one of the vacant seats in the food court.

"Why didn't you just tell me you didn't like horror movies? I wouldn't have minded taking you to see something else." Guan remarked offhand, still looking at the bird in concern. The lizard was doing his best to contain his guilt and keep a friendly demeanor, but it was just eating him up on the inside.

Food was laid out on the table and Kero managed to regain his composure well enough to take bites out of his veggie sandwich. He reached forward and grabbed hold of a bottle of water and take a sip from it. After quenching his thirst, he then answered, "I know but well..." he avoided Guan's gaze. "I wanted to hang out with you. You really wanted to go and I wanted to make you happy."

"That wasn't really the point though," Guan reiterated. "We're supposed to be celebrating that you passed the test, remember?"

Kero nodded. "Yeah, yeah, and I'm very glad that I get to celebrate it with you."

Guan nodded at that in agreement, taking a bite of his own sandwich and deciding to move on, "So where do we go from here?"

Kero thought for a moment, looking at his veggie sandwich. "I guess take it easy for now. Maybe learn more from you?"

The iguana chuckled. "I dunno, there's not much more I can teach you. I mean yeah, I sing professionally, but my focus is more on instruments. They're worth learning about, but right now that could distract you from your studies."

"True, but hey, I'm glad I met you. If I didn't become friends with you, I probably would have failed."

Guan shook his head, "I doubt that. You don't strike me as the type to just give up. I'm sure you would have pulled through either way. Not to say I'm not glad I met you too. I am." The iguana reached forward and took a big bite at the nachos he ordered, finishing up the meal entirely. "And done. Want to come and hang out at my place to pass the time?"

Kero smiled. "Sure!"

Time flowed freely as the two hung out at Guan's apartment. He didn't stay on campus, unlike Kero, but instead had a place of his own that he was paying for himself with occasional help from his parents. It wasn't grand, but it was quaint enough and showed the signs of a college student living in it. A bookshelf here, a table there, a sizable television screen with a game console at the bottom next to a shelf with lined with videogames.

"What do you do part time?" Kero asked, eyeing the iguana's possessions.

"I perform with a choir group. We get paid to do performances every now and then. It doesn't really help with the bills, but I'm still passionate about it and our cause." He took out a pitcher of water from the refrigerator and placed it on the table. He then produced two empty glasses. "Thirsty?"

"Yes please," Kero answered. He then looked at another shelf and saw a picture frame. There were a group of people posing for the camera and Guan was one of them. "Is this them then?"

Guan walked towards him and handed him his glass of water. "That's them."

Kero eyed the picture frame and saw the banner the group was holding. The name of the choir felt familiar to him. He briefly racked his memory to remember. "Wait a minute, isn't this THAT choir?" the avian asked.

"What do you mean?"

"The Gay Men's Chorus. That's them right?"

Guan simply nodded. He glanced at Kero and could visibly the cogs inside his head turn. He already knew what he was going to say.

"Wait a minute," Kero's eyes darted back to his friend. "Does that mean--"

The green iguana smirked, "Yes and no. I go both ways. Male preference." His eye ridge raised up briefly as he quickly added, "You realize I don't tattoo that on my forehead? And it's not something to be ashamed of either."

Sensing the sudden change in his tone, Kero immediately clarified his position. "No, no, of course not. I was just surprised, that's all." The bird placed the picture frame down back at the shelf. "You learn something new every day I suppose."

"Exactly." Guan then smiled sheepishly as he mellowed down. "Sorry, I didn't mean to--"

"It's okay, you didn't mean anything bad by it."

"I didn't. It's just... you know..." It was odd to see Guan fumbling over his thoughts for once. He twiddled his fingers as he looked for the appropriate words.

"Reflex?" Kero suggested.

"You could say that." Guan looked at him apologetically. "I'm used to people that aren't as...open minded as you."

Kero nodded reassuringly. "Well, I like you for who you are, Guan. Whoever you like, whatever gender they may be, is none of my concern." He then smiled cheekily at him. "If anything, you go get them."

Guan laughed warmly, considering the issue settled. "You don't have to tell me twice." He then turned his attention to the shelf of videogames he had. "Want to play a game?"

Kero's smile nearly reached to his ears. "I thought you'd never ask."

The sounds of gunshots, deathly moans, and loud over the top dialogue filled the normally quiet apartment as the two sat next to each other, eyes focused solely on the screen before them. They went with playing a shooter that pitted them against countless amount of zombies that seemingly never ended.

"Pills here!" Kero's in game character called out.

"Thanks...man, I haven't played this game in ages. I'm so rusty. That tank really gave me a pounding...didn't even lube up either, bastard." Guan remarked without irony before running over to the in-game item, too focused to see the robin doubling over in disbelieving laughter and trying to compose himself.

They went for hours on end, time seemingly becoming an abstract construct as the two bonded over videogames acting as if they've been friends ever since they were born. The only time they ever took a break was to order pizza, drink mountain dew and eat Doritos. They shared laughs, shouted in frustration over their characters dying in the stupidest way possible, and had a grand time hanging out with each other. By the time they were done, there was one empty box of pizza that laid on the table, two empty bottles of mountain dew and a mountain of empty Doritos' bags haphazardly thrown in the trash bin. Guan and Kero sat next to each other, tired yet filled with junk food.

"Dude, what time is it?" Kero asked, glancing at the clock for the first time after what seemed like ages. The long and the short finger both pointed to 12. It took a moment for Kero to even realize what it meant. "Oh snap! It's midnight already? Damn."

"Shoot...I didn't realize it was so late," Guan said to himself, feeling guilty for noticing it earlier.

"I should be heading back, Guan. I normally don't stay out this late."

The iguana stared at him with a concerned look. "Are you sure? It's a long walk back. I don't want anything to happen to you. You could stay the night if you want?"

The avian stopped in his tracks. Kero tapped his feathers thinking to himself. "Well, it is kind of far and it's really late out at night now." He glanced at Guan. "You won't mind?"

Guan waved a hand at him dismissively. "Of course not! You can sleep with me." It took a brief moment for the reptile to realize what he was implying and immediately clarify it. "Hey, not like that! You get what I mean."

Kero laughed heartily. "Of course. I can always sleep on the couch anyways."

Guan crossed his arms across his chest. "No way, that would be rude of me to let you do that. You're a guest. You can sleep in my bed."

"And where will you sleep?"

"Hmmm... Well, I'm too tall to sleep on the couch so... If you're okay with us sleeping in the same bed...?"

"You know, I'm surprisingly okay with this." Kero remarked to himself as he started at the blank ceiling. He and Guan were lying on the bed together, the surprisingly close proximity of the lizard proving to be a decent heat source. Guan rolled onto his side to face his friend. He then smiled at him and ask, "Comfy?"

"I've had worse," Kero replied. "I can see why you live off campus. Compare to the ones we have back at the dorm, this is heaven."

"It's that bad, huh?" Guan asked.

"Bad isn't even an applicable adjective to those beds. I swear, you feel like you're sleeping on concrete on your first weeks there. I'm honestly not sure how students can seemingly stand it." Kero relaxed, letting himself sink into the springy mattress.

"Glad you're on a decent bed tonight then. Goodnight, Kero."

"Goodnight Guan."

That night, Kero admittedly had one of the best sleeps he had ever had in his entire life. Guan slept like a log, snoring faintly into his pillow having pleasant dreams. Next to him however, Kero was having some rather...vivid dreams of his own. The avian slept peacefully, his tired body letting itself go and his mind drifting him off to show him dreams that evoked emotions that were deeply seated inside him.

In his dream, he and Guan were having a...personal encounter with one another. It was wild, it was hot, it was steamy, and most importantly, it left both the avian and the lizard feeling hot and bothered all together. Kero and Guan were enjoying each other's company, bodies rubbing heatedly close to each other, their voices echoing their passionate actions. Clothes were strewn on the floor and before Kero knew it, he and Guan were going at it with each other. He didn't know how it all started, but neither did he care. What mattered to him was sweet release making his good friend Guan feel just as amazing. It was so hot...their faces were pressed so close together in shared ecstasy...he could feel climax approaching...!

Suddenly Kero awoke from his sensually enticing dream, brimming with sweat. Conveniently enough, it was early morning, close to time to wake up anyway, but that was the last thing on the robin's mind. He couldn't believe what had just happened...had he actually just dreamed about having sex with his best friend? Was he awake? Had he noticed? What would he say if he had?!

Kero's mind was racing furiously as he tried to process what he had been seeing in his sleep. Swiftly he glanced to his right and saw Guan was still sleeping peacefully next to him. Feeling a twinge of guilt and relief, Kero climbed out of bed...only for him to see a very visible wet spot in the shorts Guan had loaned for him that night! It didn't take a genius to figure out what that was. Adding to his panic, Kero could even still feel his member faintly throb in his loins.

"Oh no..." he mumbled to himself as he snuck his way to the bathroom as quietly as possible. The last thing he needed now was for Guan to see this and to answer any more awkward questions...no, he would have to act like nothing happened. That was it. Just act like everything was fine, and ignore his heart trying to escape his chest...

The rest of the morning was mostly uneventful as Kero and Guan shared a quiet coffee with each other before the former thanking his host for letting him stay the night. That was when Kero excused himself to head back to his dormitory. It didn't seem like Guan was acting any differently around him when he waved goodbye, so Kero felt it safe to assume that he hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary. That was good, he thought.

However, the dreams Kero had the night before still left his thoughts buzzing with activity on the way to the bus stop. He wasn't a stranger to having rather...vivid and lewd dreams, but that was the first time he dreamed of doing it with another man. Even as he commuted on the bus, walked down the road, and eventually arrived at his dorm building, his mind was still solely focused on trying to decipher just what the dream was trying to tell him. Maybe it was trying to tell him something he already knew?

He thought of Guan and reevaluated everything they had been doing ever since they met each other. They had grown to be close friends in such a short amount of time, and he looked at his relationship with the iguana. Sure, he liked the guy. But did he like him in that specific way? Kero's train of thought paused briefly as the idea stood front and center. The avian quietly mulled it over himself, even questioning the fact that maybe he was overthinking things. Maybe it wasn't that important. After all, did Guan even like him back? Would Guan even want to do stuff like that with him? He wasn't sure himself.

For the rest of the day he kept his thoughts at bay. Soon enough he was too distracted in trying to pass the test that Professor Ludo gave him to even think about Guan. As soon he left the classroom though, all that baggage came rushing back. He couldn't shake it. The more he thought about it, the more it bugged him. Why couldn't he just let it go? Unable to think about anything else, Kero entered his room to brood even more.

It was later that evening when he Kero received a text from his phone. The avian pulled himself away from his books to look at the message. It was Guan, and the iguana was asking him if he wanted to eat at what had become their regular spot by this point. For the first time, the American Robin sighed at this. He briefly ruffled his head feathers, unsure for once regarding just how to respond. Ultimately though, he decided he would in fact go out with the reptile...at least for food. He opted to reply yes and asked him where he wanted to go. A message soon came back, and the avian was off.

The time was 6pm when Guan spotted his bird friend among the many faces in the crowd, making its way inside the mall. "Glad you could make it!" he said to him.

Kero smiled back. "The company is always a pleasure."

"Likewise," Guan said as he led the way. "I was wondering if I would even see you today.H heavy traffic?"

Kero groaned. "Very. I'm glad that I managed to get a bus before it was too late. You wouldn't believe how bad it gets during rush hour. You're lucky you live relatively close to the mall, you know."

"One of perks of living in an apartment, yeah," Guan answered with a grin, trying not to show his smugness. The iguana led them to a vegetarian restaurant and in a few minutes the two were seated next to across from each other in one of the empty tables. A waiter came by and took their orders. A few moments later, he left, giving the two their privacy.

"Thank you," Guan said.

That took Kero by surprise. "For what?"

"For coming with me tonight. I appreciate it," Guan said with a smile. "I've gotten used to seeing you every day now, I don't want you to think I take it for granted or anything."

"Oh, it's nothing really. Besides, I wanted to hang out with you anyway. Talk to you and stuff."

Guan cocked his head to the side. "Is there something in particular you want to talk about?"

After a moment of hesitation, Kero knew it was time. He decided then and there to just be honest with his feelings. It would be easier to just get everything out in the open. "Look, I...I wanted to apologize for last night."

Guan blinked. "Oh! You mean... Hey, don't sweat it, it's okay!"

Now it was Kero's turn to be confused. "What?"

"It's fine, Kero. Really! You don't have to apologize. I mean, the bed was small anyway and--"

"Wait, stop." Kero held up a hand to emphasize his point. "What did I do exactly?"

"Huh? Oh, you don't remember?" Guan asked, suddenly looking a bit sheepish and rubbing the back of his head with a nervous laugh, "Well, this is awkward, but um... In the middle of the night, you cuddled up behind me and started poking against my thighs in your sleep. Grinding, actually..."

Kero's brain froze and right then and there, and immediately he wished he didn't ask. His entire face went beet red, and he began apologizing profusely and tripping over all his words. This caused Guan to look alarmed and holding up his hands while restraining his laughter, "Sshh, sshh, it's okay! I'm not upset. Please, not so loud."

"S-sorry, just...I-I was?!" he asked, completely aghast.

Guan chuckled, leaning in a bit, "Yes, you were. I'm guessing you were dreaming of something steamy." The iguana then glanced at him at the corner of his eyes. "Maybe I shouldn't say this, but...you know, I would be lying if I said it didn't feel nice. Not that I'm coming on to you or anything, heh heh... Seriously, that doesn't freak you out, does it?"

Kero blinked, completely floored at the direction this conversation was taking. Then again, maybe it was the perfect chance for him to tell Guan what had been bothering him the whole day. "Uh...well...I wanted to talk to you about that."

"Whoa, hold on. You're right, I shouldn't have said that. We don't have to sleep together again. Really, I wasn't going to ask you--"

"I was dreaming about you and me doing...things..." Kero interrupted, just blurting it out before he could stop himself and hiding his beak in his hands with a tremble.

Guan didn't at all expect that answer, a surprised look gracing his reptilian features. From what he could tell, the utterly embarrassed expression on Kero's concealed face was more than enough to tell him that the bird wasn't joking around. "I see..." The iguana relaxed in his seat and raised a brow. "Tell me something, Kero, do you think you might be gay?"

"No," Kero was quick to point out. But a voice in his head argued otherwise. "I mean...I guess..."

The reptile cocked his head to the side. "You guess...? Well, personal question, forgive me, but... Have you ever been with someone before?" he asked directly. Kero just shook his head sadly. "Ah, I see..." Guan added, still looking at Kero with those discerning blue eyes of his. "Well, first of all, that's nothing to be ashamed of. Second of all, you're questioning. You're wondering, 'What the hell is going on with me?' after dreaming about having sex with a friend of yours. And on top of that, that friend just happens to be a man, so now your sexuality feels even more all over the place. Am I right?"

Kero was amazed at how accurately Guan deduced his problem in a matter of seconds. Was he that easy to read? "How did you know?"

"Well, that's how I realized my own pansexuality. It's a natural reaction, nothing to be afraid of. You're young. Experimentation is part of discovering yourself."

"I-I guess so..." stammered the avian as he looked away, still feeling a bit unsure what to do about this part of himself that was finally coming out. Sensing an opportunity to help, Guan then leaned in, curious to see if he could perhaps test the waters.

"So, did you enjoy the dream?"

For a moment, Kero was at a loss for words and taken aback by that question. "I-I...sure, I guess." He was a bit visibly flustered...why was Guan asking this now?

"That's good at least. Don't worry, I won't ask what we did. I gotta admit, I'm curious, but you don't have to tell me if it's too personal." Guan kindly spoke, understanding Kero's reaction. He could tell that his shy robin friend wasn't ready to share everything yet, but perhaps he'd learn more as they grew closer.

Conveniently enough, their waiter had arrived and started to serve their food to them. The two thanked their server and began eating. Kero mostly picked at his food though, his appetite still not restored. For one, he was a bit unsure as to how to proceed with the recent development presented to him, but his inherent curiosity was getting the better of him. Eventually though, he swallowed and just let it out. "Have you ever...done stuff...before, Guan?"

"Hmm?" Guan asked, biting into a french fry. "What stuff?"

"You know...sexy...stuff..."

"Oh..." Guan's voice then lowered as he said mostly to himself, "Right, you probably wouldn't have ever looked up that kind of stuff..." He then looked at Kero and answered, "Yes, I have had sex with both men and women before. Normally I'd say that's a bit of a personal question, but it's not like I didn't already ask you the same thing, cutie. What do you want to know?"

Kero squirmed in his chair a bit at being called "cutie", but he steeled himself to ask the question gnawing on his mind ever since the dream presented itself to him...like an itch he never knew he had. "What's it like?"

The iguana scratched his chin. "It's...hmm...I could tell you what it's like, but it wouldn't help you any more than watching porn. Honestly, I've found that it's a lot more fun to learn about getting freaky when you're doing it with someone you care about. Speaking from personal experience, it can be pretty amazing," He then smiled warmly at the avian, deciding to press his luck, "In fact, if you're really that curious about trying something with another man...I'd be honored to give you your first experience."

Kero gulped, feeling his heart skip a beat. "B-but you're my friend! Wouldn't that be weird?"

Guan shook his head. "Nah, it wouldn't be that weird. I mean, it's not like we met on the internet and decided to hook up and fool around without even getting to know each other first. We've taken time to get to be friends, and I like you a lot, Kero. And not just because I think you're a cute bird--and you are very attractive, don't deny it--but because you're worth getting to know inside and outside. Sex together would be like getting to know each other even better. It wouldn't take anything away from our friendship. What's more, I insist on your first time being worthwhile. Trust me, it's far safer to lose your v-card to someone you trust rather than a random stranger you just met."

Kero couldn't help but agree with this, carefully listening to the iguana's words and pondering the sincere wisdom of them. Guan for his part was doing his best not to let his nerves and his excitement get the better of him when he added a fateful statement, "That is, of course, if you would have me?"

The young robin thought deeply at that brief moment. He thought of himself and Guan and doing what he was suggesting and as he carefully rationalized it in his head, it all became too clear that he wasn't really going to lose anything. If fact, he would actually gain a worthwhile experience. Guan was a good friend of his now, in all the times they shared with one another. What's another activity to add to the list of things they've done together? He was about to say his affirmation when a quick thought rushed through his head.

"Before I say anything..." Guan's brow rose in response. "You are clean, right?"

Guan smiled. "Of course."

"Okay then."

It was an hour or so later when Kero and Guan arrived at the latter's apartment. Kero felt nauseous. He had butterflies in his stomach and his mind was constantly flittering between doing the deed and not doing it. Guan saw the avian's somewhat concerned expression and did his best to calm his nerves. "Hey, you sure you're okay?"

Kero nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I'm just nervous."

"I don't blame you. This is the first time you've even thought about this," Guan leaned over and pulled the avian gently closer. "When it comes to it, I promise we'll take it slow." With a thought, he gently nuzzled his friend along his blushing cheeks. "We'll take it at your pace. How's that sound?"

"But...I mean, I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to do."

Guan chuckled softly without derision. "We're not looking to impress the other, sweetie. Just do whatever comes naturally and everything should be fine. And don't worry too much. Even if we don't end up going all the way, I promise I won't be disappointed. Just having you in my arms would be wonderful enough. Come with me."

Once they walked into the apartment, the eager tall iguana led his equally anxious friend into the bedroom, sitting "All right then," he said softly, "Kero? If whatever I do makes you feel uncomfortable at any time, just tell me, okay?

Kero nodded, feeling his heart thump loudly in his chest and the blood rush to his face. He was excited, scared, nervous and at the same time exhilarated at what they were about to do. To start, Guan leaned in forward and looked him directly in the eyes, letting his beautiful blues drink in the robin's shimmering greens contrasting that vibrant red coat of feathers he wore. The iguana's smile broadened at how Kero was looking back at him so sweetly and shyly before Guan leaned in to give Kero a tender peck in the lips. It was short, sweet and straight to the point. He paused briefly, doing his best to gauge Kero's body language whilst savoring the taste of Kero's beak lips on his own.

"W-why'd you stop?" Kero's question came out almost like a whisper.

Sensing that it was okay to keep going forward, Guan once again kissed his friend, far more confidently this time. He pulled him up closer to his tall frame this time, making sure to cover all bases by sitting down as Kero kneeled. His scaled hands trailed inward, gently creeping up Kero's shirt and stroking intimately along the feathers and skin underneath. Slowly he deepened the kiss, eventually admitting tongue once he felt Kero was ready to accept it beyond his lips.

While Guan had been keeping his cool the entire time, Kero on the other hand was being assaulted by a barrage of sensations he had never felt before in his entire life. The feeling of holding his lips so closely against Guan's and feeling the large lizard's forked tongue crossing and stroking so lovingly along his thinner avian one was electrifying his body, sending a jolt of pleasure down his entire spine. It awoke a carnal sense of desire inside of him, prompting him to press back further with more gusto than he realized. Kero especially gasped into the sensual kiss when he felt Guan start to squeeze upwards to the chest. Seldom had anyone delivered physical contact with him like this, let alone sensually caressing and circling such talented claws along his nipple regions.

After a solid minute of slow and mutual making out, Guan broke the kiss once more, only to look at Kero as he said, "Mmm...you kiss well, lovely. Do you mind if we take off our clothes? Get more comfortable?"

Kero blushed, feeling his inhibitions melt at the wayside as each second ticked by. He was in far too deep to back out now. Kero nodded and the two proceeded to slowly disrobe. The avian was quick to get his shirt off, leaving him a chance to watch his friend remove his.

While Guan wasn't exactly the most ripped person Kero's emerald eyes ever laid eyes on, he still had a fit body and sported quite the sizable chest. While the reptile's arms weren't scrawny, they were not all that beefy either, and he didn't QUITE have a six-pack being as slender in the waist as he was. What stood out the most was an Indian ink tattoo of a tribal gecko on Guan's right pectoral muscle. Guan had never mentioned a tattoo before...where did that come from? Why was that there?

Overall though, Kero found himself attracted to Guan. Besides, Kero was in pretty much the same position, if not a bit worse. Unlike Guan's slimness, the robin had a bit of flab to his tummy and his arms clearly had not seen much physical exertion--outside of how often he rubbed one out. For a brief moment, the avian felt self-conscious as he realized Guan was looking at him just as discerningly. Kero averted his eyes, blushing deeply.

"Aww, don't feel so self-conscious," Guan assured him. He reached forward and pulled Kero close, the bird resting his head on his chest. "You look great, handsome. Really. You are great the way you are, inside and outside."

"T-thanks," Kero answered back. The iguana placed a hand underneath Kero's chin, tilting it up to guide the bird to look up to him. "Now where we..." he softly and sensually whispered as he leaned in once more, proceeding to kiss Kero on the lips once again. Now free from their clothing, Guan's hands roamed all around Kero's body before inevitably resting on the avian's bare chest, fiddling with his nipples anew as he could tell his companion particularly enjoyed attention there. Kero inevitably broke the kiss just to moan out, feeling a slight hint of sensitive pain and pleasure mix in an intoxicating cocktail. He felt like such putty in the iguana's well experienced hands.

The heated actions of the two prompted Kero's lower parts to rise up to the occasion, and Guan could feel Kero's cock poking him on his legs just as they did last night through the avian's jeans. Slowly but deliberately he lowered one of his hands to go down and smoothly fondle along the bird's package. This action made Kero yelp slightly. "Oh, sorry!" Guan said, looking concerned, "Too fast?"

Kero laughed sheepishly. "N-no, it's okay. I was just taken by surprise. That's all."

"Mmm...just to be fair in that case..." Guan then took one of Kero's hands and lowered it to his own hardening member, letting his partner feel along that stiff region as Guan grunted softly. "Mmmf...mine's right here."

"Whoa..." was the first word out of Kero's lips as the very large bulge throbbed up against his hand. This was the first time he had ever come close to touching someone else's privates, and through the fabric, he could already tell what kind of size Guan was packing down there. "It's...it feels really big."

"Eh," Guan added dismissively. "It's about average in my opinion. You actually feel...pretty well equipped down here too."

Kero felt his chest swell with pride at the compliment. "Oh?"

"Certainly. Want to compare?"

Kero hesitated for a brief moment before deciding to go with it. He proceeded to undo his pants, letting it fall to his ankles, leaving him in his tented underwear. He kicked his pants off to the side, watching Guan do the same. To his surprise however, Guan wasn't wearing any underwear underneath. He found himself staring in surprise at the iguana's exposed member in shock. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. So HUGE...and so alien-looking too! In terms of size, it looked to be at least 30 cm long if not longer from tip to knot, and close to 8 cm wide in general. What surprised him most was the tip of the cock...the glans head was intact, but above it there were two extensions that looked like tongue forks on either side, and they looked as if they could move all on their own. From between them, pre leaked onto the sheet below, that massive dick throbbing out a particularly long string before breaking off. He counted...three red stripes on either side. Under the stiff and even thicker knot of the cock were two green orbs that looked positively swollen with cum, also with three red stripes on each side.

"Y-you weren't wearing underwear?" Kero asked, unable to break eye contact from Guan's cock and too bewildered to even comment on its bizarre shape and design.

"Naaah, it's more comfortable without," Guan answered with a bit of a tremor to his voice, feeling quite pent up and full of desire and want for the lovely robin, "You should try it sometime." He noticed the curious glint off of the avian's face, watching how intently he was staring at his strange length and chuckling softly with a wink. "Go ahead. You can touch it if you want. It won't bite."

Kero gulped, obeying the impulse to do so. He gently reached outwards, feeling so nervous yet excited. He gripped the iguana's fleshy unusual member in his soft hands, prompting Guan to groan quietly but let his friend explore to his heart's content. It felt so odd...yet so familiar. The organ was stiff and hard, yet soft and mushy in spots at the same time. Almost instinctively, he gently pumped it as it pulsed against his hands, the reptile moaning lowly and producing more pre that dribbled onto his friend's thumb. "W-wow...you're...leaking."

"Yeeah...it's kind of what it does...makes big messes and all that." Guan hissed gently through the pleasurable sensation, reaching forward and stroked along the hem of Kero's underwear. "Do you mind?"

Kero nodded shyly and raised his legs up, letting the iguana bend down more fully and slip off his underwear. Blood immediately rushed to Kero's face as his girthy tapered cock bobbed freely in the air, unleashed from its fabric constraints. He felt so exposed to the world, but most importantly to Guan.

"Oooh, I WAS right," came Guan's voice as if from afar. "You are quite big down there."

Kero just chuckled in disbelief as his friend admired that shaft that looked so...normal compared to Guan's own. It was definitely smaller in comparison to Guan's hefty organ, but if Guan liked it so much... Without skipping a beat however, Guan reached forward and bent his large head far down, flickering out his tongue to tentatively lick at the tip of Kero's member. The bird was taken aback, feeling himself slightly jump from the sudden interaction before he felt Guan's reassuring hand on his side helping him to calm himself down. Kero just couldn't believe it...he was about to have his first time with someone else...this was really happening!

Panting as he leaned back onto his elbows, Kero watched the iguana slowly working on his cock, the experienced reptile using his prehensile tongue to work its way around while gripping his shaft around the base. Already the robin's senses were feeling overloaded, and the pleasure he felt was only getting more and more electric. It was as if he didn't even need to feel Guan's lips against it the way that reptilian forked tongue was moving and working him so well, like Guan knew every spot that would bring him closer! He wouldn't be able to hold off at this rate. It took everything he had for him not to blow too soon, scrunching his beak and letting out a strained trembling moan.

As soon as he heard and felt this, Guan backed off, sensing his partner was getting close very fast. "You okay there?" he asked, wiping some pre off his lips.

Kero apologized, feeling so heated, "Sorry, I've...never done this before and I--"

"No no, don't apologize. It's fine if you blow. That's what I want you to do, enjoy yourself. Blowing is good. I keep telling you that, remember? Heh heh... Hey, it's your first time. If it happens, it happens."

The young robin blushed and nodded at this, Guan smiling as he went right back down and continued his ministrations once more. Now the iguana was relentless in just how eagerly he was building his lover up. Moving his lips down to the tip, he descended them around Kero's manhood torturously slowly, lower and lower until he had engulfed the entirety of Kero's member into his warm mouth. The avian cried out highly at this sensation and arched farther back until his head hit the pillow, losing himself more and more to the pleasure overwhelming his senses. That tongue...even with his tapered shaft all the way in Guan's mouth, that long serpentine tongue just wouldn't stop moving! It was so wet...so constant...the noises...the heat...

Kero just couldn't stop himself! Before he knew it, he had lost control, crying out Guan's name loudly in the process and bucking upwards uncontrollably! His cock throbbed and pulsed, and jets of cum escaped from his hard cock, draining itself into Guan's waiting mouth. Guan took advantage of the opportunity and gave an especially strong sucking motion with every throb, draining every last spurt he could and making a point to swallow it right on down and spread it all along his muzzle with a broad satisfied grin.

Eventually however, Kero's climax came to an end and the avian was left panting and reeling from the orgasm he had just went through, feeling that wonderful heat at last leaving his dripping member and leaving him feeling so tingly all over. "Oh my...I've never..."

Guan sat up slowly but happily, kissing the tip of the shaft to get an extra sensitive squawk from his lover and licking his lips, "You taste very sweet, very delicious," he remarked softly, clearly savoring that taste. He winked at Kero before moving forward and then atop him to give his panting beak a brief kiss. Kero could taste his own cum at the iguana's lips, and he blushed so hard at this with a weak chuckle. It was the first time he'd ever tasted his own seed, and Guan could tell.

Kero then looked down beneath Guan and saw the lizard idly stroking his still-dripping cock. It still looked very large and intimidating, even from here...and yet he just had to know...

"Mmm...Kero? Do you mind...?"

Kero gulped. He was scared and yet a part of him was actually excited and curious to feel what it was like inside of him. The sexual musk in the room was so strong, and that idea in his head kept getting bigger. He couldn't resist. He decided to throw caution to the wind and nodded to the iguana, looking at him and swallowing hard.

"I want to feel it...inside me."

Guan looked surprised at these words, looking more seriously at his friend as if that were the last thing he expected to hear, "Oh, I meant...I mean...are you sure you can handle my size, hon? You've never done anything like this, and-"

"Please Guan...I want to try...I want to know what it's like..." Kero tried to put on as much of a brave face as he could. He hoped his eyes were enough to tell his friend that he wanted to feel this before he could back out.

Guan for his part looked back into those eyes as if reading Kero deep within...before he smiled back and nodded, motioning gently for him to stay in bed. Unable to believe what he had just said, Kero shivered despite how hot the room had gotten and watched as Guan leaned his shapely form over and retrieved a bottle of lube he had at his bedside drawer before turning his attention right back to the young robin.

"We're going to need a lot of lube for this," he murmured before pouring a healthy serving of the viscous liquid onto his open palm. He then lowered his hand and began stroking himself, spreading the liquid all over his massive length as he lifted Kero's feet slowly upwards. "Okay sweetie, lift your feet up over your head, and I'll get you prepared."

At this point Kero was blushing so hard his cheeks were stinging as he complied, grabbing under his segmented knees and showing off his feathered rump to Guan just as he had asked. He couldn't help but chirp slightly when he felt Guan's hand start to go over to his tight, virgin pucker and spread the cool liquid around that spot. It was so slick against that area...again, he felt like he had to be dreaming. He was about to let his best friend take him in the ass. How? It was going to feel good...right?

"There we go...now relax as much as you can. Tell me if this hurts. I'm going to help loosen you up for me. Push out when you start to feel my fingers sliding in."

"Ooh..." Kero could only say in response, doing his very best to relax as much as possible, feeling so hazy and lost in the musk in the air. He then closed his eyes as he felt Guan's finger very slowly and smoothly press past his slick ring. A barrage of new feelings assaulted his senses as it slipped deeper inside: Tightness, embarrassment, excitement, curiosity and nervousness all melted together. Overall, the first sensation that hit his mind was a bit of pain at that finger hitting a certain spot inside. Grimacing, he tried not to cry out, but Guan could tell the discomfort just from how tightly the bird's anus was gripping his digit.

"Ow...!"

"Easy hon...easy...relax...breathe in...out...there you go..."

It took some time and some more coaxing from Guan, but slowly as the lizard moved his finger around inside him, Kero started to feel that initial pain shift to an odd sense of pleasure. Eventually he started to moan, relaxing once again. It was feeling better...he was wanting it more with each stroke...and from the sound of his vocalizations Kero was at last starting to really enjoy this. Sensing once again that it was all right to do so, Guan slickened up and inserted another finger to Kero's shuddering enjoyment, continuing for quite some time as the iguana made sure to stretch his friend out. Guan wasn't about to just rush into the action, after all. He had a sense of responsibility to make sure Kero's first wouldn't be a traumatizing one that would leave him too sore to walk, but a good one to remember.

"Okay...you're very tight, but I think you're ready. Are you sure about this?"

Kero nodded. He wasn't going to back out now.

Slowly Guan pulled loose his fingers and then shifted his body forward so that he was kneeling and then lying over the excited bird. Stroking him along the cheek to soothe him, the reptile then used his other hand to line his thick tined shaft head up with the robin's anal opening. And slowly but surely, he gently pushed against it until with a low hiss, he felt it finally start to yield for him as the large cockhead at last gained purchase.

Kero grunted loudly before he could stop himself. It was so big inside--so much bigger than he thought--and his tight rear was now being spread like never before! While he fought through the rush of pain that shot up his spine, his backside desperately tried to push the intruder out, hugging it and squeezing it for all its worth. Instead of continuing to push forward, Guan winced at the rubber-bandlike squeeze around his tip and stayed right where he was. Studying Kero's face and body language closely, he proceeded to issue gentle reassurances and soft words, letting the avian work through the pain.

"Aaah...Guan...!"

"You sure you want me to keep going?" Guan repeated in deep concern despite how GREAT that tight robin was feeling around him. Still, he dared not to break Kero, much less hurt him. "We can stop if you need to-"

"No, don't stop...please, just let me get used to it...keep going..."

Watching his lover closely, Guan waited until it felt like Kero was starting to get more comfortable with what was inside before he kept going. Slowly--ever so slowly as Kero gave the okay--he fed more and more of his fat length to that tight cherry, feeling it slide past inch-by-inch. It felt so warm and silky inside, and Kero's eyes shut tightly the deeper it travelled. Every now and then, those strange tines on Guan's shaft would brush across some spot deep inside that made him clench and halt progress, and the more they touched, the more Kero wanted them...needed Guan to be completely inside...

Inevitably, after a good long minute, Guan found his thighs at last brushing across his friend's feathered backside, his entire length save that huge knot of his at last sunk deep into Kero's warm ass. The two briefly shared a silent agreement as they looked at each other--words would only ruin the moment. It was all inside...Kero couldn't believe he had done it! Before the robin could think too hard about what he had just achieved, Guan moved in to kiss his friend just as Kero did the same, their hands wrapping around each other. Their bodies rubbed together so closely now, to the point where Kero could feel their heartbeats pulse against each other. They tried to put everything they were feeling for each other into the kiss, Kero enjoy the throbbing sensation so deep inside of him and moan wantingly in his mouth before Guan at last released his lips and started to thrust.

Rather than just going all out right away, the iguana's movements were slow and deliberate with Kero. He was proving tender, loving, and almost romantic, stroking across his lover's body and staring into the avian's bright lidded eyes as his striped cock glided in and out of Kero's very tight rump. It felt SO good to the lizard, and with every pulse he wanted Kero to enjoy it as much as he was. Smoothly Guan moved his hips and body around against Kero's own to test and press along different spots along Kero's inner canal. Soon, judging from the way his friend was chirping--as well as the bird's cock slowly coming to life and hardening against Guan's lower belly--the lizard just knew was hitting all the right places. He smiled so brightly at this not out of pride, but utter pleasure at seeing Kero so happy with this.

"Ahhh...aaahhh...G-Guan...take me...harder...!"

Guan hissed loudly in assent as he started to ramp their activity up and pump his hips more strongly, his actions becoming faster and more targeted as the avian cried out for more. It was as if Guan had unleashed Kero's more passionate side, and once out there was nothing he could do to turn it off! Suffice to say, Guan was more than happy at this point to satisfy this side of Kero as the two started at last to throw their inhibitions to the wayside!

The bed rocked as Guan's thrusts became more full, more wild, using more and more of his fat length with every hilt! Kero clung onto Guan so tightly now, their moans and groans echoing across the room as their heated passion accelerated for what felt like ages. Both their bodies were aching so badly for sweet release now. It wouldn't be long now though. Guan's knot felt so swollen every time it struck that tight avian rump, resisting the urge to just RAM it past and always keeping the pace at a level that would pleasure Kero most without causing him any injury.

All too soon though, Guan could feel that constantly clenching tightness driving him over the edge! His balls jumped upwards with the imminent feeling of climax building. For just a moment the grunting lizard looked through his scrunching eyes at Kero's tilted beak practically singing as it was thrown back against the pillow as their volume increased. He knew he had only seconds as his knot started to press more solidly against!

"Ahhh! Kero, about to-!"

"FILL ME!!"

At those last words the drenched reptile finally lost it. With a last bed-creaking thrust, he gripped Kero hard and slammed himself in as deep inside as he could, unable to stop his knot at last from POPPING inside that tight ass with Kero practically screaming out the highest note he had ever hit from the sheer pain and pleasure surging through his body and ruffled feathers as a result of the final stretch! At the same time, Guan's laden balls slapped heavily against the bird's wet tailbase while a loud roar shook the bedroom to sync in harmony with Kero's outburst. Deeper than ever before in Kero, Guan's hips bucked and his cock swelled up, throbbed rhythmically, and finally exploded! Rope upon rope of white hot lizard seed burst out of his squeezed length and painted well within the walls of Kero's now battered ass, Guan emptying everything he could inside! The pressure building inside of him caused Kero as well to finally succumb to another powerful orgasm, his own thick cock blasting off for the second time that night. Kero's cum streaked into the air, the majority hitting Guan at the chest and the rest cascading back down to splash all over him and froth up between them. His ass clenched harder than ever around Guan's cock and knot, milking everything out it possibly could with both riding the passion for as long as they possibly could keep it going!

After what felt like ages, the two finally came down from their sexual euphoria, completely out of steam now. Guan collapsed atop his friend as his chest heaved against their soaked bodies. For a long time they said nothing as they recovered, and the only sound that could be heard was them trying to catch their breaths. Kero was so sore inside, but it felt so amazing still. He could barely think. His lower belly felt so bloated...Guan had shot so much inside him...

It was many moments later after they had gained their bearings that Kero was the first to break the silence, struggling to find the words with how exhausted he was, a virgin no longer, "That was...that was just...that was something else."

Guan chuckled weakly as he took deep breaths to steady himself before rolling to the side, proceeding to snuggle his partner next to him with his thick cock staying right where it was, "So much more than just something, heh heh. You were amazing."

The avian felt contented to nuzzle his partner back, feeling happy and content as can be. "You know...when I asked for you to teach me how to blow, this was definitely not on my mind."

"Ha ha! Same here...but hey, no regrets, right?"

"Hey, I got you, right? Not one bit."

Guan smiled happily at that, cuddling his new avian friend closely as they recovered together.

"Hey Guan?"

"Mmm?

"How long will be stuck together like this?"

"Mmm...all night probably," blushed Guan with a stroke along his friend's belly and a kiss to his cheek, "Tell you what. Next lesson...I'd be happy to have you show me what you learned."

Kero could only chirp in dazed bewilderment with a soft grunt at that playful throb Guan gave inside of him, both at last starting to drift off together in each other's arms. This was going to be one messy friendship... <3
