'Fifteen years ago, Dhar, a young, small dragon, was given away by his human family, changing the way he lived forever. Now, fully grown as a handsome drake, he returns to his old life after a death in his former human family. Upon returning he sees an old flame, a human woman, along with many things that have changed, including her life. But, the flame rekindles, leading to another big change that shall soon arrive upon them.'

Hello, people and furries, and welcome to my first short adult story I have for you in such a long time!

About dang time, right? Guess some of you were wondering if I was ever going to write and post another one of these when I was writing and posting new chapters for My Pride Friend recently. Well I did say in one of my recent journals that I was planning on writing another one of these stories, other than work on my unfinished novels. And since I've basically got my motivation to write again after for over a year back very recently, I decided to write down this entire story...Throughout one whole night...Which was actually last night.

Yeah, if some of you want to talk about commitment, well THAT'S commitment for you. I just couldn't stop, writing something like this is usually too good to put down. Hey, I think I did mention before that I've missed writing down these types of stories so there you go for that. ;)

I've really missed doing one of these short stories, and I'm very happy to finally make another.

I MIGHT write down one more short adult story before I get back to My Pride Friend since I still have the bug to work on that novel still, but we'll see. In the meantime, I hope some of you enjoy this first short story I have for you in a long time.

And now for my trademark warning...If you are under 18 and or are under the legal age, or find this sort of content offensive, I implore you to reach for that back button and press it!

Otherwise, hope you enjoy A Long Awaited Return! ^^

In the den of night, within a motel for dragons, squeaky creaks and quiet moans were carried across one room. Making these noises are from a large bed with a beautiful purple dragoness and a red drake sharing it for a night of sex. The female named Mayna bounced repeatedly on the male with passion, her tail swinging up and down behind her. His back laying the mattress and his head resting on the pillow, the red drake called Dhar watched Mayna with paws on his chest hop over and over again with lots of vigor. Other than tired huffs, a few chuckles came out of her smiling snout, as she relished the ride.

Dhar moaned deeply, his eyes rolled back as he too loved the pleasure he was given. This wasn't their first mating, in fact this was just another which happens on occasion. It was true Dhar had mated a few females in his life, but he's usually been with this one in particular. Perhaps it was because they've spent enough time together than they do with anyone else. As usual, he was enjoying that pleasing portal his pole disappears into, and likewise, she was enjoying him.

The female continued to hop and mate him in quick passion. With the way his loins were feeling, and the way her movements are, it was obvious they were close to finishing. More slight moans came together with all the friction they shared. Mayna's wings quivered, flapped. As she rode him hard, their bed rocking back and forth, her claws dug into his chest, almost piercing through it.

Dhar growled, not in anger, but with delight, as her walls clasped around his twitching girth again and again. He can feel the pressure coming. He didn't want it to end now, but he knew it was gonna happen sooner or later. Besides...He also knew she could always make him spill his seed a bit quicker than the other females he met. She was good that way. She was always that good with drakes.

But then suddenly, as he looked up at the scaly form, something else had appeared in Mayna's place. In the flash, was a female, but a different kind.

A young human, with long black hair, a slender body and lovely curves. In place on his scaled chest were hands, not claws. Her hair swung around as she gave him everything she's got. Dhar watched her arch her back, toss back her head, and let out a small cry when her body pushed down one last time. Dhar felt the walls grasping around his member, so tightly, and felt that pressure coming very fast. It made his eyes shut, his claws at both his sides dig in the mattress, and his toes curled inward. He snarled when he gave in, his cock pulsed hard and fast, his essence coating her insides. He felt the form over him wriggle thanks to the lust he emptied in her.

Dhar finally opened his eyes, and found Mayna had returned in place instead of the human. She was grinning passionately down at his face, breathing down happily. Her snout lowered to lick across his chops. His snout returned the grin with his own. Then she groaned and pulled herself off him, his shaft popping out her pussy, letting some white goo leaking out of her now filled hole and land on his scales and bed.

Mayna traveled off the bed, stretching her wings and her limbs. She intended to leave as soon she was done with him. That was always her thing. Dhar knew she hardly cuddles with the dragons she's with almost daily. Mayna finally said some words other than her puffs when she brought her gaze upon him, "Phew...Never gets old with you."

Dhar agreed with a giggle, while his shaft shrunk back into his slit, "Yes..." His eyes trailed off, his mind wandering off to something else.

It was the human that appeared on top of him. That woman.

Ilene...

He thought of Ilene mating him again...

And, despite the end of that wonderful passion he had with the dragoness, it was making his heart drop.

Imagining that face and form from his past wasn't the first time, and it wasn't the first time he imagined it being her that he was mating and cumming into instead of that dragoness. It wasn't just the luscious purple, though, but the other female dragons he was with. He did the same thing with them too. It's been fifteen years since he's last seen Ilene. He knew he shouldn't be doing that to somebody else that isn't her, and it was making him feel guilty. Always.

But...He always couldn't help it either. He missed her. He always thinks about her. Always DREAMS about her. It's like she has been haunting him for many years...And it was likely she won't ever leave him.

Perhaps now it was more likely because he was planning on going back to his old life, back to where things were different than how he has been living now. It would happen tomorrow.

Would Ilene still be there?

"Dhar."

The drake shook his head out of the thought, back into reality. He caught that Mayna was now glaring at him. She accused, her tail thrashing behind her, "You're thinking about HER again, aren't you?" She let out an irritated snort, "Thinking about a lesser creature while you're mating with a beautiful female, huh? Pathetic drake."

He knew Mayna would get on his back about thinking about Ilene. She didn't like humans all that well. He can understand that, he knows how that feels, and he does to an extent hate humanity. He has for years. But he couldn't bring himself to hate Ilene.

Dhar formed a glare of his own. And it angered him when Mayna calls Ilene a lesser creature. More than her calling him a pathetic drake. Ilene was more than that. When Mayna always gives him crap about her, he always found that unacceptable. Other than the most obvious, it made him wonder why he was so keen on having Mayna around him.

Dhar remarked, "I thought you'd least expect that."

"Well it is very typical of you, so I guess it is my fault that I'm always coming back to you." Mayna warned him, "You know you cannot go back to her. She abandoned you. They ALL abandoned you. I've warned you this time and time again...What makes you think she'd ever want you back into her life again?"

He stated, "A drake can dream, can't he?"

She wiggled her leaky haunches at him, taunting him a bit, "You should be dreaming up this. I thought of going round two with you, but considering you have thoughts on something else like always...I guess I'll go find another drake to rut around with. Goodbye." She sauntered over to the balcony outside the room, her scales covered by moonlight. She twisted her snout to meet his eyes and told him, "You'd better get her out of your head, Dhar. You know we dragons don't take kindly to these sort of things. It's either you choose your kind, or HER."

Dhar sharply turned his gaze away from hers. He spoke to her with the heat in his tongue, "You can go now, Mayna. Have your fun."

Mayna let out a sigh. She was shaking her head in pity, "Still in denial. You'll never find the passion you crave." She looked ahead and said one last time, "Sweet dreams, handsome." Then she spread her wings and jumped off the balcony, taking off into the night skies.

Dhar groaned, then turned his body to lay on his side in bed. Then his expression changed to sadness. Ilene would want him back into his life...He thinks so anyways.

Could she still be there?

Could she still be at home right now?

Shortly after Mayna left, his mind wandered off into slumber, and then his dreams shown up with the human he always thought of.

Ilene...

*****

Dhar flapped over the forest underneath the blue, cloudy sky. His mind was focused on the destination he was flying to. The day had arrived, and the time had come for him to return home....To his former home. Where he first grew up.

It's been over a decade since he's been there. At the mansion where his human family lived. He was one of those dragons that grew up with humans in his hatchling days. According to his human 'father', Gideon, he had found an egg from a passing traveler that he had met in the same village Dhar was living in now. Gideon took the egg in, thinking about raising a dragon to keep as a pet for his family, and to help out with the crops and stuff, since he believed dragons are capable of so much more than horses.

Over the years, after the day of his hatching, he was raised happily among Gideon's family. He had a wife, Dhar's human 'mother' named Samantha, and a daughter named Ilene. They all seemed to adore him, accepted him as part of their family. Ilene and Dhar were at most real close. They were like almost brother and sister. Nothing could hardly separate them. They would talk to each other, play with each other, cheer each other up when one is sad...And even sleep by each other...Till Dhar had to sleep in that old barn outside the mansion when he got older. But, it didn't bother him all that much. He was happy. Happy with his family...

A grim memory floated in his horned head when he beat his wings again. He let out a sigh then swayed a bit to the side as he tried to not let this anxiety he had fluttering in his chest get to him. That was until something happened that had changed everything. That had changed Dhar's life forever. It happened when Dhar and Ilene were teenagers, while he himself was still a small dragon that was still growing. Gideon was furious over what happened, he can remember that emotion brimming from the human. Shock and anger. Gideon couldn't believe it happened, not even his wife. Of course, Dhar himself couldn't believe it a tiny bit also, but it did happen. Dhar did apologize, but it wasn't enough. Very soon when it happened, Gideon put Dhar in chains and took him away from his human family...Without saying goodbye.

Not even to Ilene.

Gideon took him to this place where other small dragons lived at in the village, but it was more like a slave house for dragons than a normal home. It was owned by a very stiff human that treats dragons with so much disrespect. He always barked orders at them, at Dhar also, to do a bunch of basic tasks and errands that most civil and not wild dragons do. He even abused them if any gave the man any tongue.

That was how he had lived for the rest of his small years...Dhar was living in anger and suffering...Until he finally moved on and lived on his own in the village. But now, it was time for him to come home.

The red drake couldn't help but feel nervous to return. He wasn't sure if there would be any hostility given upon his return. Honestly he wasn't sure what could happen. He even wasn't sure if that mansion was still habitable. He only heard about one thing about the human family recently, which was a death within that family, and that was it. He never heard much else. That was the sole reason why he was going there. He does remember holding some grudges towards Gideon and his family in the past, mostly Gideon, because of how he and his family had turned their backs on Dhar who was part of the family and never came back into theirs lives...Never apologized to him.

But...Dhar was sad upon hearing the news, and cried all by himself when no one was around. He has forgiven that family, but it still doesn't erase the abuse he had suffered and totally erase the feelings he had towards humanity. Basically, he wanted to see the rest of the family and see how they were doing, and pay some respects to someone of passing.

But he's wondering if there would still be any animosity among the family towards him if he returns. He may be big now, but it kinda frightened him...A little bit. He could stand up for himself, but he didn't want to cause any trouble due to someone in that family dying. But he cannot let fear stop him from facing his past. He has flown away from it for years...But he has to fly towards it. It was time.

Dhar wondered if he was flying in the right direction. It has been years after all since he had been there. But sure enough, some trees looked to have cleared for him to see a huge mansion at the bottom. The red scaled dragon glided around in circles for the descent. Finally, he made a soft landing in front of the large house in the grassy yard.

Dhar turned to face it, his wings folding against his back. It seemed to appear not to be taken over by nature. The mansion does seem to be still lived by people. He turned to one direction to see a very large garden where all the crops were growing. Then he locked eyes on another structure nearby. He found that the same barn he was sleeping in during his later hatchling years here was still standing. He padded softly towards it, thinking back to that bed he used to lay on in the middle of that barn. A lot of furs and what not. It was a nice bed for a dragon like him...Can still smell that scent of hay these days.

Good times.

The dragon heard somebody cutting through his thoughts, "Excuse me." He slowly turned his attention towards the voice. A human woman stood several feet away from him, cautiously staring at him.

Dhar recognized the woman right away. It was Ilene. He formed a smile on his snout. He turned his whole body to face her and he watched her back away a bit suspiciously. He couldn't believe she was still here. Part of him thought when she had been old enough she would just move away from this place. But she seems to be living here. Either that, or she was visiting to pay respects too.

Either way...He was glad to see her again!

She still looked a bit the same. Only now her body looked a bit more mature, almost like her mother.

She was beautiful for her age.

Ilene put on a demanding look and had her hands on her hips. She spoke, "I don't know why you're here, but you're kinda trespassing. There's nothing for you here. I think you should leave, dragon."

She didn't seem to recognize him more than he did to her. But he'll fix that. Dhar said, "That's funny...I thought I deserve to be here."

Ilene spoke with narrowed eyes still on her face, "I don't think I've pulled out the welcome mat, dragon."

Dhar giggled deeply. He shook his head, then asked, "You don't recognize me...Do you, Ilene?"

Ilene held some surprise on her face after that statement. She then asked herself, "How do you know my name?" But Dhar didn't respond, and she waited. Then, apparently upon further inspecting, Ilene finally seemed to remember him. She beamed at the sight of him. She cried, "Dhar!" She laughed in bit of disbelief, then ran up to the dragon and hugged close to his chest. Dhar was smiling happily. He wrapped his forepaw around her, stroking her back gently. After a long time, Ilene pushed backed away from him and said with lots of awe, "Wow...It's really you!"

He laughed a bit, "Yeah...It is."

She exclaimed, her hands shooting out at him, "I mean, look at you! You've grown!"

He lowered his head down to her level, looking straight into her eyes. He mentioned playfully, "I was gonna grow up sooner or later."

She chuckled and brushed back her hair off her shoulder, "No kidding! I didn't really recognize you."

He replied with that smirk on his snout, "I know." He raised his head up high and proclaimed, "Do I look handsome or what?"

She let out a laugh. Then she apologized, "I'm sorry about that. I...Just haven't seen you in ages. I thought you were some strange dragon trying to cause some damage to someone's property or something."

Dhar shook his head, waving a paw, "No need to worry. It's not totally your fault, I don't think. It's...It has been forever."

Ilene agreed with a nod, "Fifteen years, I think." Then she walked up and wrapped her arms around his leg, pressing her cheek against his red scales, "Oh, Dhar, I've missed you so much."

He nodded at that, "Me too." His snout let out a slight giggle when he observed her, and said, "You...You still look the same yourself."

Ilene looked up at him and responded, "What, you thought I was NOT going to be the same Ilene you left behind years ago?"

He knew she was joking when she said HE left this place, so he didn't get mad. Instead he denied, "No...You still look the same when I last saw you." Then thanks to his great hearing, he heard something step outside the mansion. He placed his eyes onto two humans standing at the front door. They were a man and a little boy. Dhar didn't recognize those two. They were new here. Who were they? Ilene caught wind of them too thanks to his attention and turned around to see them.

The man with short brown hair and broad shoulders hollered from a distance, "What's going on here?"

Ilene hollered back, "It's okay. He's safe." She waved them over, "Come on over here. I want you to meet him." Dhar can see the man nod, and then grab the little boy's hand to bring themselves over to where Dhar is. The boy seemed a bit resistant at first, pretty timid to see the dragon. Dhar thought it was because he never met a dragon before. Pretty understandable since apparently there hasn't been another dragon living here for years. But with a little coercing from the man, they both came to meet with Dhar and Ilene.

The man while standing next to the boy about a few feet away looked up at the drake with a questionable face, "Who is he, my dear?"

Ilene just smiled when she said, "I'm glad you asked, Derek." She gestured towards Dhar, "This is Dhar. My family's pet dragon I told you about?"

Derek's lips made a smile. He said, "Ah, so you're my wife's dragon! Heard a lot about you."

Dhar grinned down at him, astonished by this certain word, "Wife?"

"Why yes. Ilene and I are married."

Dhar glanced down to Ilene now with a bit of a impressed look, "Are you now?"

Ilene let out a amused laugh, "Well, that is ONE thing that's changed about me, but I'm still me." She strolled over to stand with her family. She introduced them, "This is my husband, Derek, and this cute little guy here is our son, Tom." Dhar gazed directly towards her little hatchling. He looked so frightened now, shaking a little. He thought the boy was cute, but poor thing. She bent down to her son's level and he heard her urge a whisper, "Go ahead, Tom. Say hello. He won't hurt you. I promise. He's part of our family." But Tom wasn't gonna do it. Instead the lad was shaking his head and hid behind his mom. Ilene giggled, turning to Dhar that time. She apologized with a shrug, "I'm sorry. He's kinda shy around strangers."

Dhar giggled too, shaking his snout a bit, "I don't doubt that."

Ilene told her husband, "Hey, Derek, talk to him a bit while I get our boy in the house. Ok?"

Derek nodded at that, "Alright." Ilene dragged her son back to the mansion and left Derek alone with Dhar a bit. Derek then coughed his fist and asked, "So, uh...What brings you back here after all these years? My wife did say she hasn't seen you since...You two were young, I believe."

Dhar did wonder in the back of his mind if Derek knew about what happened that made him not come home years back. But he didn't seem to sense any hostility towards him. Perhaps Ilene's new family did not know about that detail. Maybe it was a good thing. Dhar responded, "I heard her father Gideon had recently passed away...I came to pay my respects to his family...And to him. I wanted to get reacquainted with his family. After all...It has been so long."

Derek gave him a nod of understanding, "I see. I'm...Very sorry for your loss."

Dhar returned the gesture with his head bowing, "Thanks." He cleared his throat before looking towards the mansion, "So...Where is Samantha, Ilene's mother?"

The human male replied, "Well, Samantha doesn't live here anymore, like her husband before he died. They both left this place for me and my wife after we got married. She lives someplace else now."

"Oh. I see." Honestly he was a bit disappointed by the fact. He thought he might see his 'mother' again, but then again, who knew what could've happened? Who knew if she would freak out and possibly have a meltdown over his presence. Heck, she might think he might do something abnormal like he did before...

Ilene came back shortly after learning about her mother. She said with a small smile on her face, "So, what are you doing here, Dhar?"

Dhar replied with a pity look, "I...Came to tell you that I've heard about your father...And I'm sorry for your loss."

Ilene's expression changed to sadness. She let out a sigh then responded, "I had a feeling that was what it was about. It's been days since it happened."

"...I know."

"...Thank you, Dhar...He was your father too."

He glanced away, "He was. I'm just sorry I didn't get a chance to meet him before he was gone." The woman came and rubbed her hand gently on his scales. The red scaled dragon then looked at her and said, "And, uh...I was wondering if you and your husband wouldn't mind if I had stayed here for a few days. Obviously I can stay in the barn. Is that alright?"

Ilene looked a little hesitant, "Ummm..." She gazed at her husband. He just shrugged.

Dhar added with a tiny smile, "Don't worry, I promise...I won't cause any trouble like you feared I would."

Ilene giggled at that. Then she gazed at him and replied, "Well...I guess you can. Least get to know my family and everything. I have a lot of things to talk to you about." She asked Derek, "Is that okay?"

Derek stared at her a bit and then smiled. Then he showed it up to the dragon, "Yeah...I guess you can. Just don't set anything on fire here. Deal?"

Dhar nodded firmly with a wagging tail, "Deal."

*****

Dhar can hear a child's laughter behind his head as he paced around on the huge yard in front of the mansion. He quickly peeked behind his shoulder, seeing Tom happily riding on his back without any fear shown.

He couldn't be any more happier.

It's been a few days since Dhar stayed at the mansion, and had been sleeping in the same barn he had slept in in the past. Turns out all the furs that were left for him back then were still around. Apparently Gideon and his family never got rid of them during his absence. According to Ilene, she thought maybe her father would get a new dragon to stay with them as their new pet, as a replacement for Dhar. But that never happened. He guessed that having one dragon as a pet was enough. Since then, they probably still hadn't the urge to toss them away.

Things have been smooth during his stay. It was like he promised. He hadn't caused trouble, never thought of it. He has had a few conversations with Ilene and Derek, mostly alone with the human female. She told him a bit about how her life went after Dhar was gone, how she met Derek, which was thanks to her father, where they got married and the like. The way her eyes looked at him were genuine. She truly missed the dragon...Just as much as he had missed her. It made him feel so guilty for not coming back home to find her sooner.

Part of him wondered if she still remembered that time...When it happened. When everything had changed between the two of them. He wonders if she still thinks about that all the time. But he never had the chance, or the guts to ask her anything about that. It was a bit too soon. Maybe that conversation wouldn't happen for a while. He thought he would just let Ilene start that kind of conversation before he ever would, so that way he wouldn't feel like he was intruding or even pushing it.

That conversation may happen...He'll probably just have to wait and see.

Then it came to her boy, Tom. It was a bit of a tough case. Tom was still afraid of the dragon. When the little lad took one look at him, he starts to shake a bit. But Tom seemed to warm up to him a bit here and there. Over the course of those few days, they talked a little with each of his parent around, about each other. Mostly it was Dhar who had spoken about himself, about him and the child's mother, and about a few stories of dragons that he has come to know about over the years. Not the ones with them having sex, obviously, but just ones that they would fly high above mountains over the horizon back to where their families live...And ones where they are fighting alongside knights to kill their enemies. Those were the stories that impressed the boy.

Then, during the middle of this day, Tom actually came to the barn to find Dhar laying around on the furs having a nap. The little bugger actually scared him to death! He never expected to see a meddling little runt to waltz right in there and wake him out of his slumber. But he didn't take offense about it. If anything, he was impressed. The boy was actually brave enough to see him alone without his mother or father around.

After some small talk and bit of banter between the two, Tom asked, much to Dhar's surprise, if he could ride on his back. He never gave anybody a ride on his back before. Normally he wouldn't have gave a second thought about giving any human in the village he lived in a ride at all due to how he felt about humanity in the first place...But for the first time, Dhar actually accepted it. The boy was Ilene's son, and Dhar figured he would've done anything to please him. Of course it was difficult for the kid to climb on his back, so Dhar had to help him up there. Soon, he was on top, and very slowly, Dhar carried the boy around the yard. He even screamed 'I'm flying!' as he walked around the yard.

The boy really amused the drake, and seeing him so happy on his back was the cutest thing he's ever seen. He can almost imagine he was giving Ilene, as a little girl, a ride on his back.

Who knows if that would've happened? Would Ilene ride on his back without hesitation like her son?

Who knows...

Dhar threw a question over his shoulders, his wings quivered, "You alright back there?"

He can hear Tom laughing, which still had him smile. The child cried, "This is fun!"

Dhar shot back, "Why thank you! Us dragons like giving little boys the ride of their lives!"

Then Tom pressed, "Can we fly, Dhar? I wanna fly away from home! Please? PLEAAAAASSSSEE?"

Dhar replied as he stomped another step on the grass, "Nah, better not. Not yet. Someday I'll take you for a flight when you're older."

The boy whined, "Awwwww."

The drake gave him a knowing look, "Hey...Do you want your mother to kill me?"

"Yeah, Tom, do you want me to kill him?" Dhar stopped in his tracks and placed his gaze on Ilene who came out of nowhere. She had a smirk on her face when she said, "Yikes, Dhar, I can't believe you're doing this to my son."

Dhar was about to reply but Tom hollered from above, "Hey, mom! This is great! Come on up here!"

Ilene giggled a bit then declined, "Maybe later, Tom. I want you to come down and eat your dinner."

Tom whined again, "Oh, mom, but I'm not hungry!"

Ilene gave him a stern look, "Tom...It's TIME to eat. Now get down from there."

Dhar agreed, lowering himself to the earth, "She's right, Tom. Best to keep up your strength." He shot the boy on his back with a promising grin, "I promise I'll give you ANOTHER ride today."

Tom beamed right back at the dragon. He cried, "Okay!"

"Alright, hop off." Tom managed to slip off the red drake's back and landed on the ground with some help from his mother. Then he ran off to the mansion without saying goodbye. Dhar giggled while he stood up straight. He complimented, "Such a brave little boy."

Ilene concurred while staring at Tom entering the mansion, "He certainly has gotten brave." She turned to him, "I never thought you would do this for him."

Dhar shrugged his shoulders, "He asked for it, so I gave him the ride. It wasn't too hard."

The human woman came to rub his scales. Then she said with her head down, "Well, even I thought this would never happen to him. I have told him about you and I, and he has gotten interested in dragons to a degree...But I never thought one dragon would do this for him."

Dhar smiled at that, "I would've done the same for you. If you'd want to."

Ilene looked back at his gaze, smiling back, "Of course I would."

Suddenly, Dhar noticed something about her. It was the way her eyes looked. They looked a bit red, like she was crying or something. He did notice that from her a few times ever since he came here. At first he thought maybe she was grieving the loss of her father still...But for some reason, in his heart...He feels something else is bothering her. He wasn't quite sure why...He just feels it.

Dhar began to ask, "Ilene?"

She replied, "Yes, Dhar?"

"....Are you feeling ok?"

Ilene seemed to be a bit shocked by the question. She stuttered a bit, "Well...It's, uh-"

"Hey, Ilene!" Dhar found Derek came up to his wife. He told her, "I'm gonna leave for the village now. Ok?"

Ilene nodded at him, looking a little timid, "Ok."

Dhar asked, "Where you going?"

Derek answered, "I'm gonna be with my friends living there. I haven't spoke to them in a while. I...Suppose you'll be leaving here tomorrow?"

The red scaled dragon replied with a nod, "Yes, I am."

Derek responded with a big grin, "Well, then I guess it was nice meeting you. I won't be back till late morning so you'll probably be gone before I get back." He patted the dragon in a friendly way, "You take care, dragon." Then he gave his wife a kiss on the cheek, and wandered off to the barn to presumably get his horse to ride to the village. Dhar and Ilene watched him go in there till he disappeared out of sight.

Ilene looked at him and said, "I'll talk to you later." She gave his scales another quick rub then turned and wandered back to the mansion. Very soon, Dhar saw Derek leaving the mansion grounds by horseback till he was gone.

Then Dhar formed a suspicious look on his face. Come to think of it...Derek was acting a little odd too. He seems to be a bit...Stiff, like he had gotten out of some sort of fight. And the way his wife sorta acted with him was kinda telling as well.

Something is going on with Ilene...And it must have something to do with her husband.

Dhar is going to find out what's happening with them...Even if it kills him.

*****

On the final night of his stay, Dhar came back to the mansion yard from his hunt, amidst the sound of crickets and floating fireflies. He sees the lights in the mansion were gone, leaving the inside darkened up like the outside. It looks like both Ilene and Tom have turned themselves into bed. He let out a sigh, his tail swishing behind him. It was about time he turned in too. No sense in staying up later than now.

He headed for the barn nearby. But before he could take a step, he noticed something about it. He can see a light had appeared through the wide open entrance. The red drake tilted his head. Funny...He doesn't remember lighting anything in there. Actually he never did once since he came here. What's going on? Dhar trekked, the curiosity brimming inside his chest like that light in the barn. As Dhar got closer through the entrance of the barn, he saw a flickering lantern hanging on a pole. Somebody certainly lit it on.

He went deeper in the barn, and found Ilene was sitting around on his bed filled with furs all alone. She apparently was waiting for him. Dhar made a smile when he spotted her, then it melted off when he thought back to earlier. He hadn't had a chance to talk to her about what she was feeling...And about Derek. For some reason she mostly avoided him after their conversation from earlier. Dhar wanted to talk to her, but he knew he couldn't just yell at her to come out of her house and speak to him. Instead he kinda went along with it. He did give Tom his second ride of the day, and after that they were inseparable, till his mom showed up and said it was time to go to bed. That was when Dhar decided he was hungry and wanted to hunt.

He thought it would be too late to talk to her tonight. Maybe he would have to talk to her tomorrow...If he had the chance. But, maybe the chance has now arrived inside the barn. Dhar reformed the smile on his snout. Hopefully he'll see what's really going on here.

The human felt his presence and looked up at him. She smiled back. She said, "Hey."

"Hey." Dhar replied, taking a step toward her, "What are you doing in here?"

Ilene confirmed with a soft tone, "Just waiting for you. Took you long enough."

Dhar shrugged his shoulders, "I was hunting, and hunting takes time." Then his head cocked, "But isn't it time you went to bed?"

Ilene shook hers, "I can't sleep. I...I kinda wanted to hang around with you a little bit...Since this is your last night here. Is that ok?"

Dhar nodded slowly, "Of course. You can even spend the night here with-" He caught himself before he finished the sentence. He glanced away shyly, "Uh...Sorry. What I was trying to say was-"

Ilene giggled, and calmly said, "Relax, you big oaf. I know what you meant."

The dragon returned his eyes on her. He asked timidly, "You don't mind?"

She shook her head again, "No. It's not like I don't like sleeping with you in this barn before in nights like this...Remember?"

His red cheeks showed a deep shade of pink in them. He stated hesitantly, "...That's kinda my point. I think you know what I'm referring to..."

She patted a spot for him beside her, "Just sit down, big guy. Nothing's going to happen."

He gaped at her. Then cleared his throat, and went to join her, "Alright, I'm comin'." Ilene was watching him with amusement while he stood beside her, turned fully around, and laid his stomach on the furs. His tail curled at his side as they both sat around in silence, listening to the crickets outside the barn, enjoying the coziness and each other's company. Ilene lay her head against his shoulder and brought her knees to her chest. Dhar took a deep breath, then broke the silence, "So, uh...How'd it go with Tom? Did you put him to sleep well?"

Ilene responded with an amused tone, "Not really. He was still worked up about you. He really enjoyed you today."

Dhar smiled at that. He said, "He's a good kid. I doubt he has had many friends like me."

Ilene stated, "He doesn't have a lot of friends to be honest with you. He says he has a hard time making them." Dhar and her shared glances with each other as she told him with a smile on her lips, "You've really made him happy...It's just too bad you're gonna leave tomorrow."

Dhar shook his horned head and assured, "I'm not really going away forever." He looked down at the floor, "I've actually planned on visiting you guys every now and then. It isn't like I'm gonna be gone and out of your lives forever."

Her eyes showed that brightness she had held since she first laid those on him for the first time in years, "Really?"

He chuckled, "Yeah." Then he placed his gaze on her and added, "Well...Unless if your mother was around and she wouldn't have wanted me around...Like your father."

"Oh." She laughed a bit then waved him off, "Don't worry about my mom. She's not around anymore. And besides that...She doesn't hold any grudges towards you."

He was surprised by the statement, "She doesn't?"

'No. In fact...She does miss you, just like me."

He frowned then turned his eyes towards ahead. He let out a snort, "Supposedly not as much as your dad?"

Ilene stated, "I think he missed you too. You know him...He took a lot of things very seriously."

The drake said with bit of bitterness, "I'm not really buying that. Your dad didn't seem set on forgiving me...For what happened."

Her smile went away as she told him, "Come on, Dhar...You don't know that."

"Why not? He hated me, and it was all my fault."

"Hey, don't say that." Her legs laid our in front of her and she placed her hand to her chest, "If anybody was at fault for what happened, it was mine. I'm the one that came on to you so many times when we were younger. I'm the one that wanted to have sex with you in this place in the middle of the night."

Dhar shook his head, "Yes, but I was the one that didn't decline. I was the one who gave in. I was just young and stupid. It felt normal after the first time, but then it costed me my life here. I was the pet...And you were one of the owners...That wasn't how it worked..."

Ilene insisted as gently as she could, "But you did it because I was sad. I was sad because I had a boy who left me for somebody else and you were the one to comfort me...That's how it was. I started it."

"...I don't think that changes what happened to me."

Ilene nodded at that, "I know...I was very devastated when I found out dad had taken you away from here. You have no idea."

Dhar let out a sigh, then he stated, "Nothing devastated anybody in your family more...Unless you were living in my paws."

Ilene wrinkled her brow, "What do you mean?"

Dhar hesitated a little bit, then he finally spoke, "Did your dad ever tell you where he left me?" The human shook her head, then the red scaled dragon went on, "Well...I was left for this human who owned a lot of little, young dragons like me inside the village. But it wasn't like any ordinary home. It felt like a slave home." He finally looked toward her as he continued, "We were forced to do so many things for the guy. In fact, if we ever talked back to him...He would whip us till we did what he'd told. Sometimes he'd chain our mouths shut and chain us to the walls till he was sure we would do what he said."

Ilene let out a slight gasp, her hand to her chin. She muttered, "My god..."

Dhar gazed down again and sighed once more. He explained, "I was in that position for a long time...Until I managed to just leave when I got a bit older and left him without looking back. I didn't really have much of a home at first in the village. I had to live outside and fend for myself. But I managed to pull through...But it still didn't remove the scars that I have."

Ilene looked him over very shortly...Then she confirmed it, "I did notice them before..."

Dhar watched her place her gaze back on him. Then he went on, "To be very honest with you...I hated your dad for what he put me into. I hated humanity...But mostly your dad. Sometimes I wanted to find him and tell him how I'd felt, but what good would that do? I was still at fault for mating his daughter. A part of me kinda deserved it...Maybe..."

Ilene shook her head at that, "No, Dhar...You didn't deserve it..." She dropped her head down, "I didn't know all that has happened to you...I wouldn't blame you if you hated me too."

Dhar responded to that claim, "No...I never had." She slowly raised her eyes to meet his, "I could never hate you. You were Ilene. We were best friends with some benefits added. Yes, you were the reason why I was gone...But I never hated you." He then lowered his head down to her level, and made a small smile in front of her eyes, "You want to know the truth? You were the reason why I kept going. You were the reason why I never let my hatred for humanity completely consume me. And you were the reason...Why I'm happy now. And so is your son."

Ilene formed a small smile on her lips too, then leaned forward to kiss his nose. She apologized, "I'm sorry, Dhar...I really am."

Dhar countered that, "No, Ilene...I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hating your father and your kind."

She put a finger to his snout, "I don't blame you. Besides...I'm not mad."

Then after she dropped it, the dragon stated, "You wanna hear another truth? When I found out your father died...I was pretty sad. A part of me has sorta thought that maybe he didn't know that human he gave me up to would do all those things to me...But even I'm not too sure about that. But still...I did forgive your family too for what happened. I don't hate them anymore..." His eyes trailed away from hers, "Even though I don't think your father has ever forgiven me for that and still hated me."

Ilene then made a statement herself, "Well...I still think dad missed you. I don't think he totally hated you. Sometimes he had a hard time showing it, but we did talk about you one time, and he said he missed you too...I think I heard him cry about it at another time as well."

That made his heart pump away in joy, knowing his human father missed him like his daughter. He said, "I...I don't know what to say."

Ilene shook her head, "You don't have to. Besides...I think he might be proud that you came back home to find me. Maybe he would've wanted you to do that in the first place."

He made a cheeky grin, "Why? To mate his daughter again?"

Ilene laughed at that, slapping his scales, "Shut up. We're not too compatible right now anyways. You know..." She gestured back and forth between her and him, "Our sizes."

Dhar giggled, "I get it." Then he tilted his head, "But...Let's not forget about your husband. He might kill me if he found out."

Ilene's expression changed dramatically. It made her look away and seem worried now.

Dhar's suspicion quickly rose in his chest. It's about time he knew. He demanded, "What's the matter? I think I can take him on if he tried."

"It's not that..."

"...Then what is it?"

She hesitated, "....."

"Ilene?"

Ilene still didn't respond. But she did get off the furs and strode a bit away from him a few feet. She just stood around with her back turned, her arms folded across her chest. She seemed to be fretting about what she's feeling...But Dhar has to find out what's going on with her. Dhar pressed, "Ilene, please...Tell me what's wrong. I've seen that look before...Something's happening to you. Please talk to me."

The human did not say anything still.

Dhar asked with anger in his eyes, "Does it have something to do with your husband?"

He heard her let out a small cry like she was gonna burst into tears. Finally, she turned around, and ran into his chest, wrapping her arms around his neck. His eyes went wide. It seems like he was correct. It DOES have something to do with her husband.

Ilene let out a quivering breath, probably try to hold down her tears, then said it, "Yes...It does."

The red scaled dragon pressed, "Why? What's going on?"

She held him for a long time, then she let him go to back away. Then she said, "He's been hurting me...Horribly."

Dhar let out a growl, "What?"

Ilene explained with trepidation behind her eyes, "He doesn't physically hurt me so much, but he has in the past. He has left me a few bruises. He mostly just yells at me. Sometimes for no reason at all. He just likes to order me around."

Dhar pried, "Does your mother know?"

She answered by simply shaking her head.

"And what about Tom? Does HE know?"

Ilene hesitated at first, then she finally answered, "Yes." A tear fell down her cheek and she wiped it off with a finger. She went on, "He's not totally afraid of his dad, but sometimes he does hear us fight. He's never really hurt our son either...But, yes...He knows."

Dhar immediately got up on his fours and hissed, "That son of a bitch!"

Ilene tried to hold our her hand to calm him, "Dhar-"

But his temper was flaring up as he strolled off his bed and was about to charge out of the barn, "He's at the village? I'll fly over there and burn him to ashes!"

But Ilene went in front of him and stopped him in his tracks with hands on his chest. She said to him with begging eyes, "Dhar, please don't go..."

Dhar shot his gaze down at her and angrily demanded, "Why shouldn't I? So I could let him keep hurting you like he has done for gods know how long? Fuck that!"

"Dhar, Tom has a father and he needs him-"

"Like hell he does. You can just get another."

The little female was lowering her head and shaking, "It's not that simple."

"Yes it is." He told her, "I will not rest until you and your boy are safe. If it means I have to kill him, then so be it."

Ilene tried so hard to steer him away from this again, "Please, Dhar...Don't go."

With his eyes still narrowed, he asked, "Why should I? I'll leave tomorrow anyways...What difference does it make?"

She warned, "Because you may regret it. Do you really want to kill Tom's father? How will that go with him? Think about it, Dhar. Killing him won't solve anything. Just...Just let it go...I'm begging you...Please."

Dhar looked down at her for a long time. He REALLY wanted to fly and kill that bastard. Nobody deserves to be abused like the dragon was. Nobody deserves to go through what he went through. Not even Ilene and her hatchling. But...Her words were unfortunately stopping him. His chest puffed out, and then let all the air out very slowly. He slowly nodded as well, "Alright...Fine." He swiftly backed away a few steps, then turned his back on her, making sure his tail did not hit her head. He said over his shoulder, "But let me tell you something, Ilene...I WILL come back here and see you and your son again. And I will be there to protect you and him...From anything. Truthfully, I may be the best father your son could ever have. I may not be his real dad...But I can sure as hell try to be one."

He let out a breath as she stood and watched him talk, "I may be the best husband to you if we were compatible. But we're not both human, and that's fine. I would have, and WILL be with you no matter what. It's like you said...Maybe that is what your father would've wanted. But it's also ultimately up to you if you're gonna keep letting this happen. Think about it. If I did not kill Derek, then what's gonna happen to you? Your child may be without a mother. You have to decide to fight for what you really want, and stop letting somebody like him hurt you and control you. I can get out of my PRISON...What about you?"

He strode to the bed of furs without looking back, then plopped down on them. He was still seething with anger a bit, but eventually he calmed down. He did hear her make footsteps, away from him, and everything was quiet after that for a long time. Ilene must have finally left the barn to go to bed. Dhar took a deep breath and let it out. Internally he made a promise to himself that he will protect Ilene and her son...No matter what.

If only she could just leave her husband...Then maybe he wouldn't be feeling worried about it.

Dhar's ear flicked when he heard a scrape on the floor. He looked back to see Ilene had come back. She was just standing there...Staring at him with an emotionless face. He frowned at her confusingly. What's going on with her now? He asked, "What's going on, Ilene? Did...Did you want to talk about it some more?"

Shortly after he let out the question, the black haired woman casually strolled up to the bed without saying a word. She looked up at him, her eyes seemed to be showing want. Dhar lowered his head down to her level, wondering what she really wanted, wondering if she would say anything.

Ilene held his snout within her hands. And then, very slowly, she leaned forward...And pressed her lips against his. His eyes widened, but he didn't pull away. Instead his huge heart inside his scaly chest was fluttering. It was that same kiss she gave him in nights like this years back. It was still the same, even for his big mouth. Dhar was returning the gesture as well, slowly giving into something he had wanted for years, twisting his head, opening up his jaw a bit so his tongue could enter her little mouth. Very quickly, despite their sizes, their kiss gained a life of its own. Their tongues intertwined, and she was moaning.

They pulled away from each other after such a long time. They were looking deeply into each others eyes, breathing heavily, from the anticipation and lust. Ilene was smiling at him for a moment, then kissed him again. The corners of Dhar's lips widened a bit and he obliged. While they were making love, Ilene lowered herself slowly on the furs with him barely on top of her.

Their second kiss was removed, leaving them breathless again. Looking in her eyes, Dhar can see what else she wanted. He knows that look. He's seen it before. He gave her a nod of approval. Without a word, he took off her shoes, and then her pants, while she helped him out by pulling off her upper garments, till she was lying bare on the furs.

The red scaled drake gazed upon her elegant beauty, her huge breasts staring up at him like her eyes. She was still as beautiful as when she was younger. But looking at her will have to wait. He scooted back a bit, positioning himself so his snout would be near her pussy. Ilene knew where he was going, so she spread her legs. Then without hesitating, he drove his tongue right through her clit. It sent her gasping and trembling from his invading organ. She held herself though, but grabbing the furs she's laying on.

Licking her tunnel was just like the old days. He knew how to do it. It was like licking dragoness pussy. Only he licked a human's first. Dhar pushed his snout in as close to her thighs as much as he could. He growled with pleasure as he worked her. The gasping human was letting out ragged breaths, her legs curling upward. The dragon must have hit a sweet spot cause it made her moan. He placed a paw on her side, rubbing sensually as his tongue swished around in her depths.

Her walls tried to clutch around his organ, but it was still slick enough to escape their grasp. Dhar was starting to have a hard on as well in the meantime. His twitching shaft slipped out of his slit while he still licked through her snatch without stopping. Ilene cried his name from her own pleasure as she stared up at the ceiling, "Dhar....Yes..." Her back arched while she was still at his mercy. Her hands gripped the furs so tightly they were turning white. Then her upper half popped up and she grabbed the drake's horns. She was now grinding against his snout, wanting more needing pleasure. She yelled, "GIVE IT TO ME, DRAGON!"

Internally he was giggling at her thrusts, but he didn't stop anyways. He intended to. Dhar wrapped a paw around her hips when she sat up, and licked her thoroughly while she humped, ready to drive her to climax. With the way her breathing sounded, she was close. Very quickly, she tossed back her hair and screamed out her pleasure as she came. Juices crashed onto his tongue and splashed out to his snout. He continued to work her through her orgasm. Her body crashed back down on the furs when he still lapped, till he was finally done.

Dhar licked his chops clean, then without hesitating, he was over her little form again, forepaws placed at her sides. Ilene sucked in a breath from his sudden appearance. She eyed below his underbelly, his throbbing cock out in the open near her thigh. The human gazed up at him. Even though the thought of breeding her now crossed his mind, they were both thinking up the same thing. Would it actually fit? Can they actually do it? They've mated more than once before...But this was different. It's not like Dhar was small anymore...

Then the dragon wiped the thought away. But Dhar wasn't gonna wait and think about it anymore. He WANTS to mate her like he had many times years before. He WANTS to give her the love he has for her. He WANTS to fill her up like they were both married. Ilene wasn't gonna let that dread stop her either. She was nodding up at him, her mind made up, telling him silently to give it to her quickly. With that in mind, the red drake shifted himself a bit over her, aiming at her well spent clit, and quickly shoved it in there without holding back.

The woman underneath him shrieked loudly. The dragon on the other hand growled from the intense pressure her walls had on him. That tight grip stopped him in his tracks. His snout went down and licked her across the face, showing her he was sorry if he had hurt her. He never wanted to harm her like her husband did. Ilene's palm drove his snout to meet her lips to share another kiss. Her eyes showed that she was alright...And to keep going. He formed a small smile and gave her a tiny nod.

And then the dragon went right to work. With all that licking, it was enough for him to slide back and push back in there gently. He was repeating the same motion, taking her softly, his hips pushing up against hers. He hummed in pleasure, while Ilene's hands traced on his chest and pushed against it. Seeing how this was already working out, Ilene begged, "Please, Dhar...Faster."

Dhar didn't hold back, he sped up his movements. Soft squelching was heard over the barn as he rammed his girth into her hard. Ilene's soft moans and cries were carried over the ceiling as well. She was grabbing his forelegs, her nails digging in his scales, bracing for the thrusts he was giving her. Dhar heard her gasp loudly, meaning he must've struck her sensitive spot again. He angled a bit, his tail swung behind him, and was hitting it again and again. His claws on both ends dug in for purchase. Her body was being held down by his large frame while he was rutting her away like it was the last time they'll do this.

Ilene cried out again, "YES! FUCK ME! GIVE IT TO ME MY HANDSOME DRAKE!" Dhar snorted in response, his wings flapping involuntarily. In his mind, he honestly can't believe how much he missed this. He realized nothing else compared to Ilene. Not even Mayna, that purple bitch. It was no wonder he always imagined her in somebody else's place. He was at the final phase of their mating. He can feel the familiar pressure in his loins building up. It was about over. Ilene was squirming beneath him when she came again first. She moaned loud enough for him to hear.

Her tunnel squeezed so hard he thought there really was no turning back. His shaft gave it to her hard and rough, her body bucking a bit below him. His hips slammed against hers as he snorted again, with his wings flaring. Dhar let out a small moan at first as it was starting to come, "I'm...I'm..." Then he shot up his head and screamed, "I'M CUMMING!!"

He finally let out a earth shattering roar when his cock began to pulse. It hit the ceiling so hard it almost shook the barn. He gazed down at her lovingly while his shaft had shot after shot a lot of his life giving essence in her depths. His breath crashed down on the human's face, but she didn't care. She kept her stare with him, happy she was being filled by the lovely drake she loved. Dhar let out a groan as his member slowed to trickles now. It began to slip out of her portal and back into his. Some of his large amount of cum leaked out of Ilene's snatch as he laid down beside her.

They were cuddling together in bed, breathing heavily and happily together in each other's arms. Dhar finally proclaimed the feelings he had for her for such a long time, "I love you, Ilene."

Ilene professed as well, "I love you too, Dhar...I always have." She kissed his chest and said, "Thanks for coming back to me...You seriously have no idea how much I missed you."

He let out a chuckle, his paw rubbing against her back, "I think I've got an idea..." Then a wary thought popped up in his head, "I...Hope Tom didn't hear me."

Ilene knew what he was talking about. She assured with a giggle, "Oh, he's a very heavy sleeper...He would sleep through anything...Maybe even a dragon's roar."

"Heh heh...I suppose you're right." Well, he can accept that. But he's not sure if HE could ever sleep through THAT. They both just laid there, basking in the afterglow with his wing draping over his little lover. Several minutes later, Dhar said, "Ilene..."

Ilene replied, "What?"

Then Dhar spoke with determined eyes, "...I'm getting you and your son out of here. Away from this place. Away from that horrible man before he comes back. Tonight. You both deserve a much better life. I'll take you anywhere, and I will take care of both of you...No matter what. I'll even take you to your mother so you can say your goodbyes."

Surprisingly, Ilene didn't argue with that. She replied with enough confidence in her voice, "I think that'll be great. Just...Give us a few more minutes of this. Ok?"

His snout shortly smiled, "Ok. And for good measure...Better take a bath before we leave." She laughed a little from that.

*****

About a bit over an hour had passed after the pair's first tryst in years has come and go. Dhar was waiting patiently outside the mansion, his wings fluttered on his back and his tail swished behind him. He was sighing too as he counted the minutes. He knew she was taking a bath first before packing up some her clothes and waking her son up so they could all leave together. Tom wanted to fly with the dragon earlier, well...He was about to get a flight on the dragon's back. Much sooner than he thought. He honestly can't wait to see his face in this very night.

Dhar was hoping that his father would not be able to find him, no matter where they go. But then he also highly doubt it. He doesn't think that human was powerful.

His mate and her son both finally came out of the mansion, the mother carrying bags apparently for both of them. The child looked sleepy still which was no surprise but his mom urged him on. Ilene and Tom both wandered their way to meet the dragon. Tom whined when they were both near, "I'm so tired, mom. Where are we going?"

Ilene told her son with a grin, "We are going on...A little adventure. With your new dragon friend."

Tom was smiling now at the statement despite he was sleepy, "Really?"

Dhar chuckled, internally deciding to play along with this little ruse. He lowered his head to meet his tired gaze and said, "That's right, little guy. And that means you and your mother are going to ride on my back...And we're going to be flying!"

Tom jumped up and cheered, "Yay!"

Then Dhar seriously told him, "But we need to leave now." He lowered himself to the grass for them, "So climb on my back guys, and let's get outta here."

That's when Tom asked this certain question, "Is dad coming with us?"

Ilene shook her head, "No, Tom...He's not. It's just us. He ain't never coming with us. You...You don't have to worry about him anymore..." She locked eyes with Dhar, with him nodding at her.

The child shortly said, "...Well, okay. Let's go." With that, Ilene helped lift his eager butt up the red drake's back. Then Ilene climbed over, with some help from Dhar of course. The two of them were both situated on his back when Dhar lifted himself off the ground.

He eyed over his shoulder to see them. He asked, "You two ready?"

Tom's eager face nodded, "Yeah!"

Ilene looked a little nervous, considering she has never done this before, "Is this gonna be scary?"

Dhar replied, "I never flown with a human before, but I think I know how to help you. I think all you need to do is hang on and keep your legs tucked in. And don't look down. Understand?"

They both gave firm nods.

"Alright, here we go!" His wings spread out on his back. Then he began to flap them, over and over again...Until his feet were off the ground. He didn't take off fast right away on the count of the humans on his back. Gotta go easy on their first flight. His body carried them over the tree line in the same spot, far enough above it. Then the drake sped forward, flying across the night sky.

Dhar shot a glance back to his humans. Tom seems to be holding on well for his first flight. He wasn't even scared at all. As for Ilene, with her long black hair blowing behind her, she was starting to feel better on her end, seeing quickly that this wasn't so bad. She was gazing out over the scenery, amazed by the view he took her. Ilene looked back at his eyes and said, "It's amazing."

Dhar smiled back, then concentrated back to straight ahead. In the back of his mind, he now knows they're both going to be okay from now on. He has saved them from the wrath of Derek. And now they were on their way to living peaceful lives...Their new adventure beginning.

Dhar meant it when he told Ilene. He will be a good father to Tom...And he will be a great husband towards Ilene. Even though they aren't compatible by size, nor species for that matter, that wouldn't stop them. Their love conquered over them. They will continue their forbidden affair...And make certain, that they'll never be apart again.

A drake can dream, can't he?

Yes...He can.

Only now...The dream has come true.
