Kyo:
Calm… peace… appeasement… emptiness… coldness.
Slow breathing; in; out; in and out; inhale… exhale… keep the same pace, slow and steady; blind, deaf, senseless, oblivious to the outside; the world reduced to me and an infinite immensity of silence rhythmed by the constant fall of thousands and thousands of clear water droplets mirroring in the sun as they rain down on me.
Deep inside me the storm, the tempest, the hurricane of my shifting energy, immense tsunamis of darkness crashing down on me had finally come to a stop, turned into a peaceful shadowy lake only troubled by spurts of my other energy, blended together in the plain waters.
I keep my eyes sealed shut, my breathing slow and regular, my head slightly bowed down, my mind cleared of any thought, ignoring every sound beside the deep rumble of the waterfall over me, the freezing cold water raining down on me, hammering my scales like a billion tiny masses were falling on my back every second; streaming down my flanks or pooling on the membrane of my extended wings, dripping down in the boiling mountain torrent foaming and rumbling as it followed its rapid course all the way down the steep slope, eroding the stone in its wake.
I let the coldness of the water coming from the highest peaks seep beneath; my frame chilling in that freezing embrace; that bone-chilling liquid doing an amazing job of extinguishing the fire ragging inside me, bringing me to a sensation of utter calm and peace.
"Feeling better there?" asked a voice, disturbing my meditation.
I crack an eye open, discovering a black ever-shifting form made of puffing black smoke swirling on itself, forming a vague shape resembling a dragon; the shadowy figure perched on top of a long neck pierced by two crimson red glowing eyes fixated on me, carrying a look that would make anyone turn away in fright but which, when you dared to meet these fiery orbs showed a completely different emotion, care, worry and even a few hints of embarrassment. The tall old demon was sitting on a rock at a respectable distance from the water, out of range from any droplet from the cascading waterfall. I nodded, keeping silence, the last events of the day coming back to me in full force, bringing that sweet instant of peace to an end. Yet I wasn't angry, my desire for vengeance gone; leaving me utterly calm and appeased, tamed, throwing a new look on the situation.
"I take that as a yes. It feels good to just… stay there and do nothing beside just… relax doesn't it?" "Indeed it feels…" I whispered, letting out my first words in… in… I didn't even know how long. "Why are you talking?" I huffed. "Sorry if I disturbed you but I was starting to feel… quite lonely there… and that silence was getting on my mind. "I enjoyed it…" "Are you… feeling any better?" "I have control… that's a good start… but… I think I'm… kinda… stuck…" I sighed, knowing that my body was still the same, mutated by the dark power coursing in my veins. I feel weird, different; I feel powerful, mighty, my muscles filled with the strength to move mountains, enough energy flowing in my flesh to give me the sensation of being almighty, capable to wipe any foe from the surface of the earth.
Yet in the meantime it feels odd, weird, like I was wearing a suit too big for me, bending under the burden of a power too great for me; I didn't felt myself under this form, I felt like I had been forced in the body of another. Yet it responded, reacted, obeyed perfectly, every inch of that body complying, giving no resistance as I commanded it; the only issue I had was all that uncontrollable energy roaming inside without purpose, waiting to be unleashed.
"You… don't look too bad like this." mumbled Kaos.
My eyes burst open, a gasp escaping my throat as I turned my head to the side, seeing a light red hue tainting the black smoke; the demon's eyes wandering away avoiding mine "At least… from a demon's point of view…" he quickly added with an embarrassed smile. "Thanks… I suppose…" I mumbled, feeling my own cheeks become warmer; "I just… don't feel… like myself." "I understand…" "Beside… I'm not sure I'm even myself now." "You are Kyo… trust me you are." "How can I have faith in you? How can I trust you? Who tells me it's not all your fault." "Kyo… I told you… it isn't me who… did that to you… you did it all… yourself." "Why do I have troubles believing this? What proof do I have that you are not using me; manipulating me to get yourself a new body?" I growled, feeling hint of darkness slither in my mind. I try my best to remain calm but despite my efforts it only keeps growing back. "It's surprising the suspicion only comes now." he sniggered. "Oh it has been on my mind for quite a while but never spoke it out loud." I growled.
He lowered his snout, still avoiding eye contact "Actually… you are right to worry… but… I am not the cause of it." "What proves me you're not lying to me?" "Kyo… listen… I know you don't have any faith in me but I ask you to believe me… I haven't done anything to you…" "Besides infecting me with your presence and cursed me with your vile powers you mean?" "I won't answer to that…" he huffed, teeth gritted "but… on the subject of your… transformation I am not responsible for it; it is all your doing, your energy, your dark side. The only thing I can be accused of is to have… probably amplified it with my simple presence inside you but the rest is entirely your doing; I am not the cause of your recent issue. Still… I admit that I have taken over you a few times to solve… situations or for… personal reasons but I never tried to make you mine." "If you say so…" I snorted, trying to remain as calm as possible despite the energy boiling in my veins as anger found its way in my head. "To be honest Kyo… I… I chose you… because of this… well mostly because of it… because without even having been corrupted you had a great amount of shadows inside you. Actually… that… equilibrium into you always fascinated me… but… as you know it is unstable and can be easily disturbed… like the Watcher did when he tried to awake me… that's what that crystal just did; you are a n energy sponge Kyo… but that balance… is heavily emotion induced as you might have noticed." "Yes… I've seen…" I hissed. "What I mean Kyo is that I've already seen you absorb great amounts of energy; you are acting like a magnet to dark forces; first the Watcher's crystal; then the combined spent energies from the mayhem you created… and the list goes on and on." he kept speaking, imperturbable "And on top of that your anger, your rage has been the fuel it needed to grow; the darkness fed of your emotions; every time someone triggered your wrath it played against you."
"I know…" I sighed; "I felt it too…" "However there is one thing that still bugs me…" he mumbled. "What is it?" "What you drained from that crystal… it was nothing… yet it managed to completely overthrow your balance,." "What you mean I'm stuck forever?" "Not forever… but… you might need to spill… a lot of energy to get rid of that excess. "Thankfully… but… you're right… it isn't that energy that made me lose control… it was my anger…" "I know Kyo… I felt how it disturbed you; I saw how it made you lose your mind… but… I… I need to ask… are you sure it was him?" "As certain as the sun rises from the east." I replied confidently. "Then… I understand why you were so mad lately and I can only comprehend and empathize to your pain." "Yes… that little freak…" I hissed, my claws grabbing onto the stone, tightening around the hard stone until, with one loud cracking noise it broke, falling down in the water below "I'm so… furious, so… enraged… how dare he… take that appearance. Yet in the meantime I'm confused… I… I don't know why I… believed it…… why I couldn't see the trap." "Don't blame yourself Kyo, I'm as puzzled as you are. I don't get how he managed to sneak so close to us„" "He didn't sneak in; he entered by the front door." "Ahah very funny…" he grumbled "but more seriously I can't figure out how I didn't manage to sense his vile presence. Owen… as hard as it is to say it… was right he had a weird aura… but… nothing out of the ordinary… I mean you have a weird aura… Allen has one… your mate… does too…" "Wait hold on what did you say?" "Nevermind it doesn't matter…" he quickly replied "What I want to say is that… indeed he had an unusual aura but… nothing that felt like a demon. I feel so dumb for letting myself be fooled by that trickery. But… even… even when the source of his camouflage was blown apart his aura remained unchanged."
"Which means?" "Either it wasn't a demon… only a random drake working for them?" "It exists?" "Indeed… they have… we have… followers I'd say… people that wish to learn the ancient forbidden arts, and master the dark powers. Some are using it for their personal ambitions… other willingly serve us. To give you an idea Owen once was one of them; a very skilled one… but anyway let's stop drifting from the main subject. What was I saying already?" he grumbled, trying to bring us back on our main course "What I think is it's either one of these servants… or a true warrior… one capable of hiding his true self… and that… is one hell of a problem." "It isn't the only one…" I grunted, finally stepping out of the flow, my scales drenched in cold water dripping down on the hard stone. "What do you mean Kyo?" he enquired, but from the look on his face I knew he already knew what I was about to say.
"Look… look at me…" I mumbled, exposing myself before him, adopting a stance that would have made the cowards run and hide and causing even the bravest to crumple in terror; my wings flared, my eyes darted at whatever was in front of me; claws shining in the sunlight, sharp and deadly; my overall size and shape combined with my bulging musculature and energy pounding inside me enough to discourage anyone to face me. "I don't see what you're talking about; you're pretty fine even like this… actually with that look on your face I'd hug you rather than run away."
Despite his attempt to be gentle, comforting, I know that on my face the opposite expression is painted, the face of a beast eager to bath in red, impatient to tear through flesh, aroused by the thought of quenching his devouring lust in the blood of another. "Kaos… that's really nice of you to try and… comfort me but… it's no use." I sighed, still glad that he tried "but look at me, look at what I've done in the past because of this… I've murdered… I've destroyed… I've ravaged lands and threatened to the lives of others… even people I care for." "Kyo…" he whispered, reaching out with a paw, his inconsistent limb going through me, only leaving an odd impression of a soft caress behind "Why do you only see the bad side of things? That very same power you fear also helped you by the past… you saved people, you protected them; it granted you an incredible strength to accomplish what you want…; it gave you strength and courage when you most needed it." "These things that you pretend I've accomplished… they are so few compared to all the evil I caused…" "Don't blame yourself Kyo… some… were my doing. I told you my presence inside you helped that dark part of you grow stronger." "And as you said my emotions only fed it." "But is it all bad?" "What do you mean?" "I admit Kyo that… some of your past actions can be regrettable but it can be… prevented." "How?" "With a bit of practice you might be able to…" he stopped, suddenly looking hesitant. "To what? Go ahead say it!" I growled, impatient. He took a deep breath and whispered in a barely audible voice "Tame it…".
Hope flashed through my eyes; hope to finally get a grip on that part of me I couldn't master. "You think I can do it?" "Probably…" he winced, curling on himself, the only distinguishable part of him being two red orbs in a shadowy ball. "But tell me… what do you mean by tame it? Do you think I could… master it?" "Certainly…" he shushed, trying to make himself even tinier. "Do you think I could… prevent it? Block it?" "Perhaps… I don't know… it all depends of you. But… what do you mean by blocking it?" "To be frank Kaos… what I fear… is not to be taken over by that dark power of mine… it is not to be controlled by it… driven toward evil by that vile force. I don't fear it… what terrifies me is to… drag others with me in my fall." "Drag someone? What is that supposed to mean?" "Don't try to ply the fool Kaos… you know exactly what I imply!" I roared "I don't want to bring anyone with me if I happen to be possessed by it again!" "If you're implying Tarken I'd say you don't have to worry, he is strong and full of surprises; he can withstand it, fight it." "No idiot! I know that he will resist it… but… other people… might not." "You mean Allen?" "Of course…" I hissed, my claws tearing through the rare grass, leaving deep lacerations in the soft dirt "I have seen what it did to him; what it made him do… I'm not sure… not sure if he will be capable of fighting that tempting power… it's such a vile snake… knowing all too well how to deceive, to sneak under our scales." "It knows our weaknesses and uses them against us." approved Kaos "but… don't underestimate Allen, he is strong; stronger than you imagine." "Still… not strong enough to resist that vile attraction." "He has some… hidden strengths… just like you?" "What do you mean?" "Didn't you saw him during that battle against the watcher? " "No sorry… I was too busy staying alive." "You missed one hell of a show!" "Really?" "You should have seen how he kicked the watcher's butt in three sword strikes."
"Damn…" I mumble, astonished by that news "Still… I don't want it to get a grip on him… I don't want it to take control of anyone else!" I growled, determined. "Kyo… your determination honors you… your desire to protect your rider is respectable but… you don't have to be alone to bear that burden… you are stronger when you fight together… not divided." "I know… but… I don’t want to risk losing him because of that…" I sighed, hiding my face behind a wing as tears start rolling down my cheeks. "Kyo… you don't have to fear it… you… you can master it." "How?" I growled, frustrated, my tail hardly slamming in the ground with a loud thud. "You just need… practice…" "Practice…" "Try to use it. You need to understand that power if you wish to tame it." "How am I supposed to do that?" "You have to learn…"
I gritted my teeth, my claws noisily scrapping the stone; I knew where this conversation was leading and; as much as I hated the perspective it brought… I knew there was only one thing to say. The time of fear was over, now was the time for training, improving and in the end fighting.
"Then… teach me." I whispered, bowing my head down. "What did you say?" he squeaked, perking his head from the shadow ball he had become. "Teach me… telll me how to control it." I repeated, staring pleadingly at him "I… I can't do it on my own." "Kyo…" he mumbled, finally taking the shape of a dragon "I wish I could… but I can't…" he stated, looking down. "What!? But… why?" "I… I can't… it's ´oo dangerous." "Why… why dangerous?" "It's too risky for both of us." "What are you implying?" "What I mean is it's far too dangerous now; we still have way too many enemies on our back, spying, waiting for a weakness to jump on us and harvest what they want." "We can fight them, just like we did before." "Don't be too cocky Kyo, you won't be able to fight while you train, you'll be more of a threat to others and yourself more than to any foe." "Why?" "Because… in order to properly train you I'll need you to unleash your full power." "Isn't that a bit… rough for training? Can't you take it more… slowly?" "Taking it slow! Are you kidding me?!" he laughed, his body shaking, smoke puffing in every direction as he giggled "Taking it slow won't bring you anything: a small amount of dark energy can be easily tamed by even the most newbie of mages but taming such a tiny fragment won't help you the slightest, it will only make you become more cocky than you already are… and easier to corrupt when you'll try to go to the higher level. So… do you see now why I don't want to teach you now; you'll be too weakened, too exposed, too busy resisting it's influence to properly fight… and if you lose your focus… it will take over… and there will be no turning back." "I… I see…" I mumbled, shivering in fright, seeing myself possessed by the dark power; ravaging the lands, causing chaos, death and destruction; wreaking havoc on all that I once loved.
"But… tell me…" I hiss, still frustrated "why did you give me such vain hopes?" I growled, turning around, facing his squirming and curling frame. "Hey I didn't expect you to want it right now…" "Don't try to pretend, you knew I was gonna ask this." "I feared it… but I hoped you would be smarter than that." he spat angrily. "Smarter than that! I'm taking care of the most worrying problem right now; I can't stay like this, it's far too dangerous for everyone, even more if I don't control it. So… I'll ask it gently one last time… please… teach me…" I begged, bowing down before him, a pleading look on my face. "Sorry Kyo I can't. I wish with all my heart to help you… but I can't; not here… not now?" "When then…" I hissed, out of patience. "Not soon… we have more important things to take care of… like… staying alive." "And staying alive implies me not going on a rampage and murdering everyone in sight." "Don't be silly, the bonds between you, Allen and Tarken should prevent such awful things from happening." "And you stop being stubborn!" I roared, slamming my claws in the first lump of rock in sight.
To my own disbelief I saw the hardened, tough battered by elements surface shatter, sliced right through its core, breaking in a million shards after only one blow. Power rises inside me, filling every inch of my body, giving me an almost unbelievable strength, a sheer power that makes my head spin as it overflows, pouring out around me; enveloping me in a warm blanket of pure, vile, drowning, mesmerizing darkness.
"Damn it!" I roared, trying with all my might to fight that new wave of that unstoppable force I can't stop, that evil power I behold; preventing it from taking over. I look down, bowing under that new assault. Before my eyes I see; I can only watch in horror as shadowy snakes wrap around my claws, the darkness turning the ivory appendages to black jagged talons as they start to grow, lengthening and thickening, the tip curling in ward as the edges sharpen, becoming serrated blade meant to rip, to hurt, to make suffer, to tear through flesh with ease.
"Make it stop…" I hiss through gritted teeth; crumbling under the tide of obscurity coursing through me, burning venom enhancing my flesh, fueling every atom with a wicked, forbidden strength. I fall flat on my belly, my muscles stiff like ropes, my claws digging in the rock as if it was dirt, my wings extended, fluttering uncontrollably as I feel my body shift; my scales hardening, my muscles swelling, bulging, my senses sharpening, my flesh stretching, growing; accommodating to my growing frame, my bones thickening; strengthening. "Argh… make… it… stop…" I wince, crying out in pain as the obscure force keeps changing me "for god sake please make it stop!" "I… I can't…" he whispered, looking at his reflection in the water, his eyes full of sorrow. "What!?" I grunt, arching back as the spikes on my back lengthen, drawing another squeal of pain as blood oozes around the growing protrusions "How can't you stop this when you are the cause of it!?" I hissed, gritting my teeth, crouching under another surge of darkness fogging my mind. "Kyo… I am not the cause of it Kyo… you are…" he whispered, finally daring to look at me "I cannot stop what I haven't started." "You did it before…" "No I didn't…" "Stop lying!´" Kyo… I didn't stop it… I never did… what I did was unleashing it; forced you to spill it; to let it all out… but I could never contain nor tame it." "Then… do it… unleash it… like you say…" I hissed, abruptly gaining two feet in height. "I can't… it's far too dangerous. Before it was only… small amounts… something rather easy jo get rid of… but here now… it's far too risky… unless you seek to turn these mountains to dust and wipe away every inhabitants with it."
I went silent, realizing the gravity of my situation but… what else could I do? Let it turn me in a monster? Never! Try to fight it? No use it was far too great for me to resist and breached all my defenses with ease. I could do nothing but watch it transform me, taking hold of me. "What should I do then?" I grunt, rippling of pain coursing through my changing flesh. "Try to control it." "You hare funny!" I shouted, trying to laugh but only feral grunts escape my throat "how am I supposed to do that when you deny me the knowledges I need." "You don't need them Kyo… you can do it on your own… I believe in you." "Thanks but it doesn't help. I cannot possibly fight it… it's too strong…" "Who mentioned fighting?" "What!? Don't tell me you want me to give in?!" "No… but… fighting it won't help… the more you resist the more restless it become; the harder it will assault you." "But I won't let it control me!" "No one wants that Kyo… trust me on that point. What I meant Kyo is… stop resisting it… you won't be able to withstand it for long. Try… understanding it instead." "Understand it?" "It's all yours Kyo… it is a part of you… entirely. You can't deny its existence so… try… try to calm down and tame it." "Easier to say than to do…" I growled.
"Maybe I can help…" suggested a voice. My eyes burst open, my breath stopping as I turned my bulky snout in the direction it came from. That voice, that sweet familiar voice, a sound I didn't expect to hear here. My jaw drop as I discover, standing on the jagged rocky ground, his magnificent green silhouette contrasting with the azure blue of the sky, shimmering in the radiant sunlight; that smiling figure bringing warmth to my heart as I feel my cheeks redden with a blush.
"Tarken…" I mumble.

Allen:
What is he doing? It has been four hours since he left, flying away, heading south, vanishing in the endless skies.
Four hours… an eternity spent worrying, fearing the worst. I stayed with Tarken and Kyle all the time, leaning against the green drake's warm flank, my eyes glued to the limpid blue sky, searching for my dragon, hoping for his return.
For that time being I had tried to establish contact with him, tried to talk to him but he remained deaf to my calls, ignoring each of my attempts. Apparently he sought loneliness, distance and seclusion, far from everything, far from everyone, only him, alone with his burden, alone to bear that weight, alone to deal with this. "Kyo… you're not alone." I thought; clenching my fist in another attempt to make him react, open his mind to me. But it appeared it was all in vain, he stayed as he was; silent, isolated, far away, foreign, denying. I knew I couldn't resist the influence of darkness… neither did he but maybe together… together we could defy it, dominate it, as a team, as a rider and his mount; as a family… together. Sadly he preferred to keep it for him, to try and control them on his own. I knew his intentions, his desire to protect me, to protect us from his inner demons "but who is protecting you Kyo?" I mentally asked; not knowing if that interrogation was meant for me or him.
"What is he doing…" pestered Kyle, pronouncing the very first words for several endless hours, breaking the cold silence between us "he has been gone for ages!" he added, kicking a rock away "we aren’t gonna wait all day long here." "We will wait until he comes back so be patient." huffed Tarken, lazily lying sprawled on the grass, basking his green scales in the sun. "And you Allen… you have any idea of where he is?" he grumbled.
I tensed, surprised as I realized he was talking to me… for the very first time in weeks. "No clues… he doesn't let me know…" "That's all Kyo…" sighed Tarken, a wry smile curling his lips "but I do understand his choice… the evil forces battling within him are hard to tame, restless, ruthless, they will keep torment him until he has learned how to properly use them. Still… it doesn't mean I agree with his choice. And you Allen… what do you think?" "I don't know…" I sighed, not meeting his wondering gaze "I don't know if we are of any help in that situation." "Any help can do the difference in Kyo's situation and I'm sure he would gladly take it… even though he tries to pretend the opposite." "He is stubborn…" grumbled Kyle. "He is afraid…" replied Tarken, glaring at his rider. "He is lost…" I stated, bringing all the gazes on me. "Indeed… I think lost is the appropriate word." approved Tarken. "Why so?" grumbled Kyle. "A lot happened to him; it has disturbed him… destabilized him, filled his heart with doubt and confusion… weakened his defenses and opened him for the dark powers to take over him." "Speaking of which do you know why he was so… confused as you say? That little brat seems to have caused quite the mayhem inside of him." grumbled Kyle. Once again every eye turned to me "Why are you all looking at me like this? I don't know who the guy was. I had never seen him before." "I don't doubt your words Allen but tell me; what did you feel when he showed up?" "You mean what Kyo felt?" "Correct." "Joy… happiness… warmth, and an urge to hug that guy. He must have been a friend of some sort to Kyo… or some long seen acquaintance." "Hmmm… interesting…" "You have any idea on who the fuck he was?" interrogated Kyle. "Maybe… but it's only suppositions… I can't yet tell precisely who he is… but my guts tell me it is the one I suspect." "Who it is then?" enquired Kyle, impatient. "It is not me who shall give you that answer; I am not allowed to spoil that secret. It belongs to him to explain you… when he will be ready to do so."
I nod, agreeing. I know that he will spit it out… one way or another. Despite my desire to join him now, to know what he is up to I know that I can only wait and hope for his return.
"However I'll give you that Allen, you performed pretty well." "What do you mean?" "I'm honestly impressed, not many on this plant can withstand the darkness in the way you did… it is a sign of great strength." whispered Tarken in obvious respect. I bowed my head slightly, honored by the dragon's words "I did almost nothing…" "You were aware of their presence and tried to resist their influence… it is already a great deal of strength and willpower to escape their grasp." "It wasn't bad for a first time." approved Kyle, more skeptical than his dragon. It brought warmth to my heart to hear him congratulate me, made pride swell in my heart as, for the first time I saw him smile to me. A light reddish blush covered my cheeks as I looked away. "Well… it isn't exactly the first time." I admitted, looking down at my own hands. "Tell us Allen." whispered Tarken, his scaly snout nuzzling my shoulder. "I don't know…" I mumbled, gently pushing him away. "Go ahead Allen… you can tell us we won't judge you."
I took a deep breath and started counting.
I told them everything; I described how rage, frustration regrets and guilt took hold of Kyo while he was looking for Tarken, how he ravaged an entire area, turning it into a sterile wasteland, how he shot down Alya, how her presence only made matters worse, how she tried to harvest Kaos, how Kyo made her pay, made her suffer, torn her flesh, spilled her blood. Then I explained how the overwhelming evil power coursing through Kyo reached me through our bond, overwhelmed me, overpowered me, drove me to hurt her even more, how the evil power subdued me, took over me.
I felt a hand land on my shoulder, gripping me tight. I looked up, tensing when I discovered who that rough hand belonged to. Instantly I dipped my head down again, seeing the emotionless face of the one who I once called my mate. "The darkness are like the people it possesses, wicked, perverted, malicious; it knows how to exploit our fears, our weakness and turn them against us; it knows when we are vulnerable and will try to crush the weak." hissed Tarken. "But you're no weak Allen." replied Kyle "In fact… for a second time dealing with the corruption it's not half bad."
The compliment made me blush in embarrassment, heat spreading over my face as I try to avoid his gaze. "For a newbie you're handling yourself pretty well." "Thanks." I mumbled, dancing from one foot to another. "Don't forget that time when the Watcher stabbed him with a cursed dagger." "Yes… I owe you a lot for that." I giggled, gently pouncing him in the shoulder. "Oh… well… it… it was nothing" mumbled Kyle, heat rushing to his own cheeks as he nervously played with a shotgun bullet, keeping his large hands busy as he looked the other way. Above us I spotted Tarken toothily grinning; glancing down at us in an almost childish amusment. Was he mocking us? Was he proud of something? A joke maybe? I didn't know but all these glistening white fangs displayed before me were making me feel quite uncomfortable, unsure of the meaning of that wide smile. Kyle seemed to notice my disturbance, instantly looking up. In a split instant the smirk had vanished, replaced by that cold, stoic expression he was often wearing. "What are you big oaf smiling for?" "Me… oh… nothing…" casually replied Tarken "I just had a reminder of some old… very good memories… fun ones in fact." he giggled.
I flinched, did he just winked while insistently looking at me? What was he trying to say with all these odd looks and weird phrases?
"Regardless of that big dumb dragon…" "Hey I heard that!" growled Tarken, baring his fangs in defiance. "Anyway!" shouted Kyle, ignoring his dragon's deep growl "As I see it… you might be able to resist the corruption, perhaps even become completely immune to it." "Don't give him false hopes." huffed Tarken "Immunity I think is far out of range with a dragon such as Kyo but I'm sure you can achieve a great level of mastery over it, perhaps even use it in combat." "You think?" I questioned, feeling better, comforted by their reassuring words. "I'll be honest with you Allen I sense a great power within you." said Tarken, his green eyes glued to mine as he spoke "a power, a strength mighty enough to overcome the darkness inside you." "You think?" "I'm certain of it; what you need is just a spark to ignite the fire."
I nodded, rubbing my chin as I turn these words again and again in my head.
Suddenly an image pops in my mind, so clear, so precise I swear it could have happened in that same instant. I flinched as that scene played itself in my brain, so detailed it felt real. I could see before my very eyes the Watcher, evilly grinning, darting his glowing eye at me, his swords in hands… and on the other side me, with only one sword. I can see it so clearly, my blade glowing, the metal pounding as a blinding golden glow filled it. I remember the sheer force that invaded me when I lifted the heavy weapon; I could even feel the counterblow as I struck, hitting him several time.
Three strikes, three powerful unstoppable blows. Three strikes and he was destabilized, stuttering on his feet, three strikes and he had flown across that dark cave.
Still, I didn't know what had triggered that surge of power, that unknown force to fill my veins. What I knew was that I did it, I almost defeated a demon in three strikes. If only it had lasted longer I may have been able to deliver the finishing blow to him.
But… what could possibly have made it happen? What caused that power to reveal itself to me? Was it my rage in combat, my desire to cut his head from his shoulder ? Or was it something else?
I had no clue but having these two greeting me, looking at me with regard and respect felt highly enjoyable; even more when it came from Kyle. My chest swelled with pride as I saw a smile curl Kyle's lips, a smile that soon faded, just like a mirage, an illusion; as if I had dreamed it.
I was trembling from head to toe, nervous as I crossed Kyle's gaze, emotionless as always.
"Well… it… it actually happened once." "You used that power?" gasped Tarken, his jaws dropping. Even Kyle looked stunned, looking at me with a mix of shock and surprise on his face. "When?" they asked at the same time. A smile drew on my lips as I saw them suspended to my lips.
"It was when we were looking for you…" I started covering the dragon and rider in one look. "Hey if he hadn't dragged me with him you wouldn't have to look for us." grumbled Kyle; too proud to be grateful. "But you know that without you I'm helpless." cooed Tarken, nudging his snout in his rider's neck, his broad tongue lapping over the sensitive skin. "Quit it you big lizard it tickles!" yelped Kyle, trying to get away as a leathery wing draped over him. "Stop that your breath is nasty!" he yelled, trying with all his might to shove the playful dragon away. "You're cute." I chuckled, covering my mouth with a hand to hide my laughs. "Shut up I know you've been doing much dirtier things with Kyo." grumbled Kyle, squirming as the dragon bathed his face in slimy spit. "I don't see what you mean?" "Don't you forget the many times you kneeled under him to worship that dick of his." he sniggered. "Oh I saw you do just the same and groom that very same part of him; beside Tarken has two for you to clean." I chuckled. Kyle stared at the grass embarrassingly; blushing red as Taarken let out an amused giggle "I think he got you on that one." "I hate you…" he sighed.
"Anyway Allen… don't mind me go ahead… count us that story of yours." "If you stopped distracting him perhaps he could count it to us." "Oh if that's so I'll gladly oblige."
I observed as Tarken let go of his rider, Kyle quickly wiping his face clean of all the spit soaking his skin.
"So as I was trying to say it all Occurred when we found you and confronted the Watcher and his minions." "Too bad I wasn't there to punch that scumbag in the face myself." grunted Kyle. "Oh don't worry he took his beating." I chuckled. "Hold on you defeated the Watcher?" squeaked Tarken, eyes bursting wide. "No I didn't… someone else delivered the finishing blow but I did a good part of the job." "Tell us." pleaded Tarken, carefully listening, his eyes glued to me.
I described them the fight crudely, without decorations or exaggerations, only the crudity or reality as it unfolded. I told them about the desperate battle against that demon in all its evil glory, our swords clashing, my body on the brink of exhaustion, his taunting, his provokes, his insults to my father, the rage that flooded my body, the power that flowed in my veins, the desire, the urge so make him pay, to rip him apart. Then I described what happened after, the first sword strike that connected; how he crumbled under me, submerged, overwhelmed; how he was sent flying away by an invisible force, how time seemed to have stopped as J struck twice before time followed its imperturbable course and he was sent straight into a wall. I tried to give as much details as I could but as my account went on I could see Tarken stare in amazement at me, analyzing me from head to toes with a new curious look while Kyle was grimacing, more doubtful than his dragon.
"Three strikes… man you must be kidding. It's impossible to defeat a major demon with three blows." "Hehe we already blasted him to dust at least two times so…" I chuckled, remembering these times where I saw him vanish in the inferno of an explosion. "Indeed" confirmed Tarken, toothily smiling as he nodded "so defeating him in three strikes wouldn't surprise me. Also you have some hidden resources Allen I can tell you that.." "I don't know…" huffed Kyle, rubbing his chin pensively "three hits and bye bye… I must see it to believe it." "Oh I think you can have faith in Allen." cooed Tarken "you wouldn't dare to lie to us would you?" "Never." I stated, confident in my words. "I know but… man that sounds unbelievable!" "And still it's true." I chuckled, quite delighted to see my friend and *sigh* mate be impressed, dumbfounded. By me.
"Do you think you could do that again?" "No… sadly… I don't know how it worked and… why… and how it triggered itself." "Hmmm interesting…" mumbled Tarken, a claw caressing his scaled chin "maybe it was caused by your emotions. What state were you in when it happened?" "I was angry… very angry… at him; at Kyo; at Tarken for carrying you away when he left." "Quite a lot of rage blended in there; ready to explode." commented Tarken, focused on my mouth "anything else maybe?"
"No… I don't… I don't think so?" I mumbled, my cheeks reddening as I nervously caressed my sword's handle. "Are you sure about that?" wondered the pesky dragon, that devious grin plastered across his face. "Don't be shy Allen… I know there is something else… come on… open your heart no one will judge your feelings."
I took a deep breath, not sure these words, as reassuring as they tried to sound were true. "Well… I… I wanted to see you, to protect you, to have you back… and to make him pay for daring to hurt you." "By you… who do you mean?" stuttered Kyle, redder than a tomato. "Oh sweetheart I'm sure you already have that answer." purred Tarken, as mischievous and devious as always. "You." I let out, timidity making my voice shaky and unsure. My eyes meet those of my mate just to see his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, his eyes going in every direction, dodging mine. "Oh you heard that…" shushed Tarken with a soft look on his face "that's so cute." "Shut up." grumbled Kyle, slapping Tarken's snout. Yet, despite his attempt to remain stoic and imperturbable I could see red spreading across his face. Even the blow to his dragon looked faint, not convincing at all.
Deep within I knew my words were hitting their mark but… would words be enough with Kyle? Would words convince him? Prove him that my love was more than mere lust induced thoughts fueled by my lustful companion of a dragon.
"Well…I… I appreciate that you care for me…" he mumbled, trying to keep up that stoic appearance.
´"So… as I suspected that… power of yours is triggered by strong feelings…" he said, trying to change subject. "You know what that mean cutie." cooed Taarken, his snout nudging Kyle's face. "Do you ever shut up!?" roared Kyle, trying to punch his dragon in the face. Tarken was fast to react, dodging the blow and, in the blink of an eye had gone around his rider, shoving him forward. I tensed as, tripping over a small rock Kyle fell right in my arms. I blushed, feeling his strong muscular body pressed against mine, my cheeks turning a crimson red hue. "That's embarrassing…." mumbled Kyle as he slowly pulled away. Behind Tarken was sniggering, a wide devious grin twitching his lips. "I hate You so much…" sighed Kyle, leaning over his draagon's flank. "That’s why you like me." "Nope… I'd rather get rid of you right now." "You jerk! Who would carry your fat ass around if I wasn't there?!" "Hmpf… true… you’ve got a point" huffed Kyle.
I smiled, taking back my place near the hindquarter of the green dragon, eyes turned toward the sky, looking, hoping for Kyo's return.
Soon my nose twitched, catching a sliver of a spiced tangy scent. "Seriously Tarken!" Roared Kyle. I covered my nose, the pungent smell filling my immediate surroundings; a smell I knew all too well; the scent of dragon arousal. I looked up, glaring at the dragon as I tried to ignore the thick intoxicating virile odor. The green dragon had his eyes pointing toward the sky, slightly hazy, lost in his daydreams. Slowly he turned his snout in my direction, wryly smiling as our gaze met. "You lusty dragon." growled Kyle, covering his mouth and nose with a palm, glancing menacingly at something visible only from his side hidden underneath the dragon's belly. I didn't need to look to know that two tips were peeking out of Tarken’s slit, squirting their musky fluids on the pavement. "How can you be horny now?" grunted Kyle, taking his distance from the source of the fragrance. "Oops… apologies…" purred Tarken, bowing his neck down "it appears I've let my mind wander too much." "You sex craving beast can't you think of anything else?!" "I can… but do I want it is another question?" "You're annoying…" sighed Kyle. "Let him be… dragons think more often with their tool more than with their brain." I huffed, taking a step away as well. "Yeah… I wonder if their brain isn't located in their balls." chuckled Kyle. "Seeing the size of their nuts that would make sense." I added, giggling amusingly. "Oh… how dare you?!" yelped Tarken, staring at both of us with an offended look on his face, yet a happy smile betrayed his amusement. "I deserved that." he chuckled, shaking his snout as he laughed with us "but in other circumstances it would have hurt me a lot… even more coming from you Allen. Although I do understand that some of my kind may think with their tool instead of using their head… including a black and blue scaled friend of mine…" he whispered winking meaningfully in my direction. "Hmmm… no… I don't see who you're talking about." "Are you sure… it's a black and blue scaly dragon… a bit reckless on the edges but overall adorable." he chuckled, his grin stretching on his lips. "Ahah… touché…" I frantically laughed.
"That's surprising to hear you say that kind of things on your own mate." commented Tarken. "He deserves it…" replied Tarken. I nodded, approving the dragon's statement "He has good intentions but often takes the worst decision." I sighed. "Just like now"" confirmed Tarken "he wants to protect us, to protect you Allen but his solution… isn't helping anyone." "I agree, keeping that burden for himself will only make things worse; alone he cannot control it." grumbled Kyle "We've seen the results of that method" "Indeed…" sighed Tarken "but he is too afraid to come ask for help, his desire to keep us safe is pulling him away." "But he isn't strong enough to withstand it on his own." I let out. "In his current state he doesn't stand a chance." agreed Tarken.
While we were talking the manly scent had dissipated, allowing us to lean on the drake's soft scales. "I just wish I knew where he was…" I let out, desperately looking at the dazing blue sky. "He will come back Allen don't worry…." "What makes you say that?" "A hunch; and his promise to take revenge on that sneaky demon. He won't let that go away. We just have to wait for his return." "Let's hope it won't take too long." "Don't worry… I'm sure he will be back soon."
I nodded, uncertainty gripping my heart as I tried to stay positive, hoping for Kyo's return.
Minutes passed in a complete silence only bothered by other dragons and humans once again bringing life in the park as they went around, chatting, enjoying life and what it had to offer, oblivious to our worries, ignoring, unaware of what had happened some time ago right where they were stepping, only a few of them noticing traces of a fight in the pavement and letting out a short often silly comment on it.
"Stop that!" suddenly screamed Kyle. Instantly I turned my eyes toward him… to discover him struggling with a bulky dragon snout shoved in his belly, pushing him backward, right toward me. Bending slightly he managed to resist the hard push of his dragon. Tarken pulled back, growling annoyingly, swiftly ramming his snout in Kyle's chest again, cutting the strong man's breath as he staggered back. "Quite it you dumb lizard!" he choked, stuttering on wobbly feet as Tarken shoved him back once again, sending him right into me. We staggered; losing our balance and toppling over each other as we fell back, ending on our butts on the rough ground. "What's on your mind dude!" roared Kyle, springing on his feet just to be caught off guard by a broad tongue slathering his face in slimy spit in one lick. "Gross…" he spat. I smiled, mocking the man covered of dragon saliva. "Why are you doing that to me?" "Because you stink…" giggled the dragon, bumping his rider's chest, causing him to trip over and fall again. "Could you stop shoving me around!?" grumbled Kyle; “I’m not your fucking doll!” The dragon's bulky snout came closer, hot air washing over our face. "Could you step aside please?" he asked with that mocking smirk. "Couldn't you ask that before?"
Tarkan only snorted, waiting for us to comply. When we were up, wiping all the dust of our clothes he stood up, unfurling his wings, gently flapping them, taking the wind in the leathery membrane. "Hey hey hey! Where are you going like this?" yelled Kyle, vainly putting himself in front of his dragon. "I have a friend to visit." "No way! You're not going anywhere without me?" "Relax Kyle I won't be far." "That's not a reason! You put that fat ass on the ground right now!".
Tarken ignored the command, fluttering his wings a few time, sending waves of dust right in his rider's face. "Don't worry for me… I won't be far… and I won't be long." purred the dragon, nuzzling his rider's cheek before soaring in the sky, his green frame glinting in the light as he quickly flew away.
"What the hell is wrong with dragons today!?" roared Kyle, slamming his fist in a tree trunk. "No idea." I replied raising shoulders as I watched Tarken vanish in the white clouds. Where could he be going?
………
Kyo:
"T… T… Tar… Tar… Tark… Tarken…" I gasped, trembling as this word had troubles escaping my throat while I discovered the green male standing behind me. I quickly turned around, staring at my mate in utter surprise "What… what… what are you doing here? How… how… did… you… even found me?" "I just came to see how my mate was doing and it appears I arrive right on time. And about how I found you I'll simply say I always know where you are and how to find you. After all… I'm your mate remember."
"But… but… I… I made sure no one could follow me." I squeaked, still puzzled by his so sudden arrival. I hadn't heard, neither seen him arrive. It was as if he had just teleported in front of me by some obscure means. "You may have forbidden the access to your mind, denied us all any information on your current location. You took the most complexes and twisted path but know this Kyo; whatever you do to leave us behind we will always find you."
I knew that by who he didn't only meant him… but… the rest of us… and maybe more… undesired people. But… it… it was impossible to arrive so quickly." "Who said I followed the same road?" he giggled, a mysterious smile plastered across his face "just know this Kyo, the more you will try to run away, to evade, to leave us behind, the more we will stick to your tail. Also… you might not have noticed but you are radiating energy and leaving much of it in your wake, a clear trail for anyone to follow"
I tensed, now aware that every demon of the world could rush straight to here. "But I didn't need to hunt you down… I just had to follow my heart and it led me right to you." "You are so cute." I purred as he nuzzled my chest.
I crammed my neck down as he reached up, our lips joining for a loving kiss. It felt weird; I felt so big, or he felt so small I didn't know but it felt weird to kiss him, the size difference between us was impressive, I was twice bigger than him so he felt and looked small in comparison but the sensation of our lips pressed together hadn’t change; the softness of his lips was the same; the taste of his maw was still as sweet as before. A paw grabbed the back of his skull, shoving him harder against my lips, allowing us to delve deeper in the kiss. Even that contact seems odd, my paw almost too large.
Slowly our jaws opened, our heads tilting to the side as our tongues explored the other's mouth, mingling together. Even this felt abnormal, I'm too big, my tongue parting his maw wider than it ever did as I probe inside, our saliva mixing together as we kiss.
Finally our jaws part, spit dripping on the grass between us. "You are big…" panted Tarken. "Too big…" I replied. "Don't say that." "Tarken I'm twice bigger than you!" "I don't mind. I have a big, strong, handsome mate… what else could I ask for?" "Thanks… but… I don't… I don't like it." "What do you mean?" "I don't feel like… myself in that form." "Oh… why that? You are just the same even like this." "What do you mean?" "Your behavior is the same; you look just like before and you act normally for me." "I feel like wearing a suit or something like that." "It suits you well if you want my thought on it." "Thanks… but… I… I don't know… it just… doesn't feel right… it's… it's not me… it doesn't belong to me." "Why wouldn't it?" "Because it was entirely his creation!" I growled, glaring accusingly at Kaos who was barely visible "it was all caused by him; all infused by his presence." "Are you certain of that?" "Of course! Why are you asking me that?" "Because I think you are misunderstanding this." "What" I hissed "What do you mean? Do you imply that its mine… that it's what I truly look like? That I am some sort of m… m… m…," my voice broke on that last word, rage boiling in my veins as I stared at him. He was still so calm, so confident in himself. What was he tryimg to achieve? Was he trying to make me lose my mind?
"Say it." he finally let out. "A monster!" I roared, relieved to finally spit it out but enraged by the sound of it. "It is not what I meant that Kyo. It is ugly, monstrous if you wish, because you think of it this way. But honestly I don't find any of these things when I look at you. I see a marvelous, strong, beautiful creature. There's just that… four wings thing that is disturbing but overall it's perfectly fine." "You think?" "I do Kyo… with all my heart. In fact I didn't mind that you bred me in that form this morning." "It's… not something I'm kin on doing again… I don't want to hurt you." "Oh but you didn't… not the slightest." I blushed, nervous, puzzled, not knowing what to say; what to do; how to react to his compliments. "And while we are on that subject I do think that it belongs to you… not in the way you see it but in a different way. I think it is a part of you but not your true look… as I see it every time you transformed it was caused by strong emotions… or a source of dark energy… but almost every time it was due to something strong… love… pleasure… anger reaching a peak. Perhaps Kaos's presence influenced it, awoke it but I think you created it." "I only used it to manifest myself." suddenly interrupted Kaos "but it was already here when I… arrived." "You see" he chirped; granting the shivering demon a grateful smile.
I listened, acknowledging the words but not quite finding their meaning. "So you mean it's… part of me." I mumbled, looking at my own scales, not yet convinced. "Exactly." "So I could… control it?" "Probably… but you don't seem that… out of control if you'd ask me."
"To be honest… it's not the look that… bothers me… it's what comes with it." "Go ahead… spill it out." "I control it… because I managed to… tame the dark power raging inside me… but in other situations I don't control it… I feel it taking control… inducing my thoughts with its darkness, turning me in something… that I fear and eventually manipulates me to do it’s dirty things." "I know Kyo… but you can learn to control it." "You think?" "Of course… it's just like when you first breathed fire; you just need to learn and practice." "But how? He doesn't want to teach me!" I growled, glaring in disregard at the demon. "Kyo… if you want to be trained the first step is to control your temper." "Easy for you to say. You are not coping with some weird dark force trying to take over you." "It is simpler to understand it than you imagine. It's mostly emotion driven; for instance the angrier you are the more it will rage inside you. It's like a fire; if you throw oil on it it will burn harder. So… if you seek to control it… sit down and shut up."
I was honestly surprised, Tarken looked so self-confident I wanted to trust him. I obeyed, sitting on the rocky ground. "Great… now answer a simple question." "I'm listening." "Why did you left?" I looked down, feeling so guilty all of a sudden. "I… I needed to be alone… to… empty my mind and try to understand what was going on." "Did it work?" "I'm not sure."
I lowered my snout to the ground not daring to make direct eye contact. I heard him move, his claws racking the stone as he came closer. The sound then moved to the left as I felt his warm scales brush against mine. He sat next to me, close to me, so close I could feel his warmth seep under my scales , warming me as I extended a wing; or rather two, blanketing him under leathery membranes. "See… that's one good side of that body…" he purred, nestling himself comfortably next to me. "More seriously though we have to talk." "I knew you would say that." I sighed. "Kyo I have one question and I want you to answer it in all honesty… why did you left? Why did you try to get away from us? We could have sorted it out together." "Tarken… you know my reasons." "I know nothing Kyo." "I… I wanted to protect you… from what I had become… I… I cannot stand the idea of… hurting you." "Kyo… the bonds between us prevent that kind of thing… you are not that reckless to risk killing yourself if you kill one of us." "No but… I know what it can do… to me… and to others… I've already seen its effect." "We aren't weaklings Kyo we can handle it!" "For you and Kyle I don't doubt it a single second… but… I'm worried… about Allen." "You fear he won't be strong enough to withstand it?" "Yes and I know what you're about to say; that he isn't a weak whelp, that he is stronger than I think but… I… I've seen what it did to him… what I did to him and I don't want it to ever happen again." "A respectable intention Kyo but do you really think you are doing any good to him by flying away like this?" "No but… it' the only way to protect him?" "You're sure about that? You think that vanishing like this will make things better for you? For him? He is worried about you." "I know I know… but it's the price to pay to keep him safe, to prevent that vile part of me to harm him." "And you… who will protect you?" "What do you mean?" "It's having much more effect on you than on any of us! If you haven't noticed yet Allen is improving, soon he could be able to resist the influence of darkness… but not alone… with your help." "You think?" I stuttered; staring at him hopefully. "I would bet my life on it! Which brings me to my last question; is it truly for him that you ran away or is it because you are a little coward too afraid to face the truth?"
I looked away; the words stung like blades stabbing my heart but could I deny that… deep within I knew he was right. "Answer me Kyo." he growled, not leaving me a single second. I could feel the smoothness of his scales against mine as our bodies rubbed together with each slightest motion. "I… I'm afraid…" I whimper. "Don't be ashamed of that Kyo, we all fear something." "No it's not that… you don't understand… I don't fear becoming it… I fear that I won't be able to go back to what I was." "You have the strength to do it Kyo, you have the control." "No I don’t!" I growled "I've tried to control it… it always backfired." "Because you didn't have the proper tools to master it." "Do I have them now?" I hissed, pestered by his persistence. "You do Kyo… we are here to help you." "But I don't want your help!" I roared "I mean… I don't want to harm you… or worse… if it goes wrong. Every time I tried to understand that part of me it only possessed me, made me do things… I'm not proud of…" "As much as it helped you achieve greater things." "Like what?" "You saved me with these very same powers…" "I barely left a scratch on that demon." "You saved Allen and defeated an apparently indestructible being with a tiny dose of it." "That I did…" I mumbled, a hint of pride slithering in my heart. "You made us escape the city without a scratch to our back." "I broke my wing…" "But we are still here to talk about it! And that's what matters." He whispered in my ear, giving my face a gentle lick that made me shudder. "It came in handy when I most needed it…" I agreed "but otherwise it tried to control me." "Excuse me for my persistence but I don't see that so called possession you hide behind." "I'm not hiding behind anything!" I roared, springing on my paw as I glared at him defiantly. Around me flames erupted from my scales, enveloping my whole frame in a hellish fiery aura, energy blooming in my veins, darkness clouding my mind, inducing everything with anger and rage as puffs of black smoke flowed out by my mouth and nostrils with each exhale.
"See what you've done…" I rumble, trying to resist the flood of obscurity; trying to fight back the urge to make him suffer. "It just confirms what I thought from the beginning." he stated, walking in my direction with that utterly calm face, stoic even in this situation. "Don't… come… any closer… I don't want to harm you." I growled, struggling against the shadows trying to overwhelm me; twitching as the inner battle inside me reaches its peak.
I froze; something had made contact with my snout. I easily recognize that unmistakable rough paw of my mate. I opened my eyes. He was standing right before me, at eye level, smiling warmly at me, his insensible paw slowly caressing my muzzle. I shuddered, watching him with a mix of concern and surprise. He wasn't afraid, he was so calm… how could he be so calm. I tried to open my mouth but a claw silenced me "for once quit talking and listen to me." I huffed, gritting my teeth together as I listened. "You are the one that triggered it Kyo… every time." "I didn't…" I hissed. The paw left my snout… just to slap it an instant later, sharp jolts of pain bursting from the tip of my snout. "What did I say Kyo… listen carefully, you triggered it… your anger awoke that part of you, that crystal didn't help but I think that even without it you would have ended "So you think it was meant to be like this?" "Not exactly… but I do think that either way you are the cause of it all: it is a dormant power your feelings awoke and fed, the more you fed it the bigger it grew but every time it manifested you either succumbed to it or tried to fight it." "What should I do then?" I growled, breaking away from the soft embrace. "I think you should try to understand it instead of fighting against it." "So you want me to give in?" "No, not quite that, letting it possess you is the worst of all ideas. What I think would be better is to stop resisting it, let it flow… but as it does try to feel it, try to guide it, try to… understand it… just as you did when you were a youngling trying to learn the dragon's powers." "You're crazy!" I shouted, what he suggested was so… risky, so dangerous, so… impossible but in the meantime he had that look on his face, the expression of someone who knows what he is talking about. "Go ahead… give it a try." "And what if… what if it doesn't work? What if I'm too weak?" "Well… at least we would have tried." "You're sure you want to risk this experience." "I'm certain of it."
I closed my eyes, Sat in the dirt and slowly removed my mental barrier. I tensed, a tide of darkness invading me, filling me to the brim. I chocked, gagged, suffocated, drowned in the untamed flow of shadow. I twisted, tried to pull myself out of it, tried to quell it with close to no result, always dragged back in the unstoppable flow. "Kyo… don't try to fight it. Calm down and let it flow" "Easier to do… than… to say." I grunted, my voice tainted of dark hints. "I have faith in you… if one person in this world can do it it's you."
I grimaced but gave in, letting the flood drag me away. But as it did, as darkness surrounded me, assaulted me from all sides, as I curled on myself like a helpless whelp I felt something, a shift in the current, at first barely perceptible, but a change that soon became noticeable, something that made me shiver. Around me everything seemed to have appeased, as if the storm had passed away. Everything didn’t seem as unwelcoming as I had thought; even quite inviting; even tempting.
I tried a small thing, changing the course and guiding it toward my claws. I sensed the energy around me, filling every inch of my being, obeying to my commands. I opened my eyes, looking down at my claws; the ivory appendages were shining, pulsing, enhanced by that same dark energy. "That's… incredible." I gasped, staring at my razor-sharp talons as if I just discovered them. "See… I told you." chuckled Tarken.
Amused, proud, enthralled I led the flow toward another part of me. My maw gaped open, heat building up in my throat. I looked for some targets to practice; something to unleash my new fire on. Something grabbed onto my lower jaw, yanking my whole head down as my mouth was forced shut. "I think it's a bit too soon to use your new powers Kyo. Don't be too bold or you might lose control." I nodded, huffed but eventually swallowed my fire, letting out a loud burp accompanied by a puff of black smoke. "See Kyo… just had to believe in yourself to achieve it." "It's… unbelievable…" I mumbled, astonished by the new power flowing in my veins, pulsing with almost endless energy. I felt different, I felt powerful, strong enough to overcome any threat. "However don't be too bold; you still have a long way to go before you can truly pretend to master it." "Sadly…" I sighed. "So… are you feeling better now?" "Much better… even though… I'm still stuck and it's kinda… disappointing… I hoped I would be able to go back to my… normal self." "It's only a detail… we will find a way later. But personally I don't mind that new look… I even find it quite attractive…" he cooed "plus… it's a real feast for the eyes." he added, his eyes slyly pointing at a specific area of my body, all the way down between my hindlegt." "Little pervert…" I giggled, widening my stance for him to gaze at my moistening slit. “Wanna see it from up close?" I purred, teasingly wiggling my hips. "Not yet… but soon…" he purred "first we still have an unfinished discussion to carry on." he said with a more serious tone. I nodded, knowing exactly what he meant.
We sat next to each other, staring at the horizon in a heavy silence, our lips sealed. "So…" yawned Tarken, breaking that moment after about ten minutes of that silence "who was that little brat of a demon?" "You know the answer." "Maybe… maybe not… but I want to hear it from you." "It was… my little brother." "Alckor?" "Yes." "Who? The little maggot or the disguise?" "Why do you keep asking stupid questions?" I growled, not in a mood to broach that subject. "Answer me Kyo." "The disguise…" I hissed through gritted teeth, my claws tearing the dirt apart.
"Why is it bothering you so much?" "Stop pestering me with questions! You know why I reacted like this… I thought… for so many years… that he was dead… and now I see him again… standing right before me." "It was only trickery, another illusion. With demons you cannot trust what your eyes show you." "I know… but… it looked so real." "They are the masters of disguises and illusions, they know how to trick and play with people's beliefs to drag them in their wicked traps." "I know… but… it… it wasn't just a disguise." "What do you mean?" "It wasn't a picture, an image put over that demon's body… it was… more than that. It was… an… older version… as if he had grown up." They are not dumb Kyo they know how to adapt their camouflage to deceive their target. "No… it wasn't that… it was… it wasn't just a disguise… it was… it was him…" "Kyo… I know it's hard to accept but it was only a trick to disturb you. That's exactly what they want; they want you to bother yourself with that to take advantage of you." "Maybe… maybe you are right… but… I… I don't know… I must know why… I must know what happened to him. I have to know how they managed to get their vile claws on him… and if he is still alive." "I understand your feelings Kyo, I know it's hard to see a lost one again… just to realize you have been fooled; I know your anger, I know your thirst for blood, your despair for answers but you must not let it control you." "I know… but it's not only that." "What else?" enquired Tarken. "I… I know that guy." "What!?" "I… I already met him before." "Where?" "He… he was with the Watcher when I rescued you." "Another of his creations?" "I… I doubt that; he didn't act like a slave of his." "What do you mean?" "He was scared… just like a little hatchling. He was with two of his friends." "The two that were petrified?" "The same two."
"But… what were they doing here?" "I don't know… I think they were supposed to be some reinforcement." "Shitty reinforcements if you allow me." "Indeed… but they were the ones… who had their gross way with your unconscious body." "And you let them leave!" he roared, eyes blazing with anger "they looked so cute… so… harmless… they were just terrified little children… and they begged for mercy… it was inconceivable that they had one this to you… of their own intention I mean." "Appearances are deceptive Kyo… and the most honest at first glance can revel to be a manipulative psychopath." "I know… but… I couldn't bring myself to suspect them… they didn't seem dangerous… they even helped me." "That's… surprising…" admitted Tarken. "Then… when the fight was over, as they flew away they promised me they wouldn't do anything against us again." "Usually I wouldn't trust a demon's word… but given the circumstances." "You see now why I'm angry! I t took me time to recognize them but now that I do… I can't get my mind over the fact they dared to break their promise." "It proves what I was just saying… never believe a demon; their words are just empty and meaningless." "Now I'll know… I'll never do that mistake again and I swear this time this filthy liar won't get away without a scratch to his scales! I'll rip him apart if I have to!" I roared; fire burning in my eyes as black smoke escaped my mouth, surrounding my snout in a black mist. "Calm down Kyo; don't let your anger control you… if you must go to them and interrogate them… you must do it with a clear mind." I let out a low grunt, shaking my head as the wave of lava hot rage subsided. "You are right… but… it's so hard to not lose my temper… I just want to tear them to shreds after what they've done to you, to me, to us!" "That's an idea I'm one hundred percent behind." approved Tarken with a devious grin "but before we do anything we need to cool you off a bit?" "What is that supposed to mean?" "You are… edgy if you'd allow me." "I'm not horny!" I protested “I never said that.” He sniggered. "Yeah… you might be right but now that you say it I'd gladly enjoy some relief."
A wry grin spread over his lips as he took a peek between my legs. I could feel my slit moistening, puffing out as deep within, behind the layers of flesh and muscles my cock was stirred to life, blood pumping in the rapidly engorging flesh as it grew, pushing the soaked folds around it. "Naughty boy…" he purred, giving my snout a gentle slap of his tail. "Sorry but… these balls are heavy…" I moan, exposing a bit more of my nether region to him. "Yes… demons are known to be horny… and quite productive." "What did you say!?" I growled, darting suspicious eyes squinted at eyes at him. "Nothing! I just said that it meant much more fun for us." "You'd better have said that… otherwise I'd have to punish you for insulting me." I growled, shivering as the tip of my cock poked out. "Oh… I'm so scared." he giggled "but I didn't mean edgy in that regard; I'd rather say… unstable." "I don't like how that word sounds in your mouth." "Don't give me wrong Kyo I don't seek to offend you but let's be real you are quite emotional in that state and these same emotions are stimulating your new powers. So… in order to avoid an eventual blood bath it would be appropriate to calm you down." "I'm calm." "Appearances Kyo remember… I know under these sweet scales you are boiling with held back anger." I nodded, he was right, rage, like molten lava flowing through my veins, my desire to spill blood a rumbling, ever growing storm about to break lose. I was only a ball of pure concentrated anger, rage and hatred swelling a bit more with each passing second. "You are right…" I sighed "Kaos already told it to me… the energy I absorbed broke a balance inside me… and until we have found a way to recreate it I am stuck… so I suppose it's part of the consequences." "Maybe… but it's not something I'm going to complain about."
"That… bothers me… how can you find anything beautiful in this?" "It's simple… I just see my mate… in all its glory." "You're flattering me." "I'm being completely honest Kyo; you look absolutely gorgeous." "Kissing my ass so much might earn you a small reward." I purred, more of my shaft sliding out of my slit, the glossy black flesh coated in clear lube glinting faintly in the light. "You little pervert I knew you had that in mind." he giggled, sitting in front of me. A subtle scent reached my nose, a spiced fragrance of male musk, potent and appealing. I looked down, my mouth watering in anticipation. The sight I was met with didn't disappoint. There, in the middle of his underbelly laid his slit, parted around two marvelous green meaty cocks, both spires steadily dripping precum as the outline of their forming knots could be seen. "Looks like I'm not the only one having naughty ideas." I chuckled, drooling over the two members. "What can I say… with such a handsome drake in sight it's hard to keep them inside." "Such an appealing sight…" I purred, barely containing my urge, my claws impatiently scraping the grass in anticipation while I feasted my eyes on the two cocks pulsing before me "you had been planning this haven't you?" "No… but I have to admit I had some thoughts about this morning." "Interesting… where they good?" "They were delightful." "You little cock hungry slut." I growled; nuzzling his face affectionately. "Hehe… don't deny it you were thinking about it as well." “Not really… well… not until you brought the subject." "And now…" he purred enticingly, displaying his two shafts for me. "I'd love to worship them." "What are you waiting for then? They are all for you."
I extend a paw, trembling as I slowly but surely move in closer, so close I can almost touch it, so close I can feel the heat radiating from the throbbing flesh. Tarken's potent musk filled my nostrils, making me slightly dizzy as my eyes focused on my prize, so close yet so far away.
Yet, something kept tugging at me in the back of my mind; a mere voice whispering, telling me to not do this; to keep my distances. I grimace, shaking my head, trying to escape the fog of lust threatening to take over. "No… I shouldn't… it's… its wrong." "What is wrong Kyo?" "All of this! We shouldn't be… touching each other… like this." "We have done that countless times before; why would that one be any different?" "We shouldn't do that… don't want this to go wrong." "Why would it go wrong?" "Tarken I barely control it… and… I don't want to hurt you." "Silly drake you won't listen; I know you won't hurt me." "I'd like to believe that… but… I don't know what I'm capable of in that form." "Many great things probably… beside you look pretty." "That freaks me out how you can find something beautiful in me?" "It's simple… I just have to look at you." he whispered, closing the gap between us "stare into these immense eyes" he added, grabbing my snout between his paws "feel you" he whispered, pulling me closer. I crammed my neck down, letting him guide me; his soft words cradle my mind, his warm paws caressing my scales, his intense gaze mesmerizing me, as he brings us closer. I tremble, nervous like at my first time, gusts of moist breathe caressing my snout, my heart pounding in my chest, sweat wetting my back as I waited in silence, watching in anticipation. I closed my eyes, knowing he was so close to me, so close I could sense the beating of his heart, his slow and steady breathing. Our lips met, an electric jolt bursting from the contact zone, traveling all the way down my spine. I tensed; shivering as I felt his smooth scaly lips kiss mine in a loving way. I was puzzled; it felt so good, so… normal, so good to do it but so wrong at the same time. The sensation was both disturbing and delightful at the same time.
I hesitated, trembling as my paws gave under me. Slowly, as his lips remained stuck to mine as I felt the heat spread out inside me I felt my restrains falter, my doubts dissipate, my fears subsided I gave into the kiss, embracing him with all my heart as the kiss became deeper, more passionate, low purrs echoing in our throats while our bodies gave in the sweet embrace.
I had to lie down on my belly to keep myself at his level and even that wasn't enough; I was still too tall, dominating him from a good two heads in height, forcing me to keep my neck twisted at an uncomfortable angle, placing me in a naturally dominant position when I wanted him to lead the dance.
I reached behind with a paw, cautiously clutching the back of his skull between my claws, pulling him closer as our kiss deepened. Only when my lungs start to itch from the lack of air I break away, panting slightly. "Feeling better?" "A bit…" I mumble, still recovering from the blissful contact, the taste of his lips still lingering upon my tongue. "It's still bothering you isn’t it?" "No… it's just that… you feel… small." I let out in a barely audible squeak, my cheeks turning a crimson red as the words roll out of my mouth. "And you… you feel big… really big…" he replied, snuggling against me, nestling himself right next to me. I looked at him, nervous, shy, hesitant, wondering what to do next. "You don't mind?" I asked, more to fill the emptiness than by real interest. "Not the slightest Kyo."
I observed him, speechless, all words stuck deep in the knots of my throat. It was disturbing for me; even after all these changes; even after I left like this; even after all we had been through he still loved me with the same passion as day one. I was grateful to have such an understanding person as my mate; a person that would love me for what I was; not for the look or for just the carnal satisfaction of mating.
Determination blazed into his eyes, an emotion that brought warmth to me. I didn’t feel alone anymore; perhaps he was right; perhaps that new form wasn’t all that bad… maybe I could even do something of it. "Tarken… you are the most… adorable… kind… understanding mate any dragon could wish for." I let out; my voice trembling as I stared into these magnificent green orbs; mine feeling with tears of happiness. "Not any dragon… you and you only." he whispered, hugging me close, swiftly wiping a tear away.
Our lips found the way to the other's mouth again in an almost perfect sync, shudders traversing our entire being as we kissed again; more passionately, more wildly, letting our love speak rather than our tongues. Our head tilted to the side, our mouths parting open as we delved deeper in the kiss, our jaws interlocking as my broad tongue shyly entered his heated cavity, chilling with pleasure as I tasted the inside of his mouth. My paw once again found his head, shoving him a bit More roughly than intended into the kiss; my tongue reaching deep in his mouth, intertwining with his smaller oral appendage, my tip poking at the entrance to his throat. Through the deep kiss I could hear his muffed gasps as I choked him, his mouth full of my tongue; our mixed spit sloshing in our joined maws with each twist, each curl of our tongues as we prodded in the other's mouth. Thick streams of spit were messily dribbling down our chins, forming gooey puddles on the grass in the narrow gap between us. It was so wild, so raw, so… savage yet so loving and passionate at the same time. I loved every second of it; I couldn't get enough of the sweet flavor of his maw, eagerly lapping inside to get every hint of it, moaning in our deep kiss.
As it went on, as I held him between my paw I felt something strange happen; something I didn't expect: deep inside me the boiling caldron that was the energy flowing in my veins seemed to calm, to appease as the ragging storm of my emotion became a mere breeze, all my mind focused on the sloppy seconds of that kiss. I felt strangely peaceful… but deep within still odd, stupefied by the fact I was slowly accepting this new appearance, using this new form for pleasure,. Regardless of that disturbance I had to admit I enjoyed it; I wanted to grab my mate, to roll on my back with him lying on my belly and hug him in a warm embrace of paws and wings as we would kiss for eternity, alone; oblivious to the outside world and it’s pesky problems; wrapped in our cocoon of love forever. A shudder ran down my spine, surging in my semi-hard member. I had almost forgot it; I hadn't noticed that I was still aroused down below, my enlarged cock rhythmically throbbing weakly squirting clear pre-seed on the grass while my balls rested on the cool dirt, pulsing, churning with pent-up seed. Damn I had climaxed this morning and I was already ready for another romp.
It was so unusual for me to feel so excited, so aroused, so enamored in that form; usually I was only a ball of pure anger and unquenchable bloodlust but now I felt… normal… as if I hadn't transformed. Perhaps Tarken was right… perhaps I could master it but still it felt so wrong to enjoy myself in this form. Unknown to me a new sensation made its way to my mind, clouding my judgment, inducing my thoughts with an odd lust, making me drift away from my wonders as, between my hindlegs my cock grew to full mast, something stimulating it. I tried to fight it, letting out low annoyed grunts in the kiss, causing Tarken's eyebrows to furrow as he glared at me from below. "What are you doing…" I mentally hissed sensing Kaos presence close to my backside. "Just helping you get into the mood." he chuckled. I moaned; a violent surge of bliss washing over me as my nuts jumped in their pouch. It was like an electric current had stabbed me right in the balls. I sensed the surge of demonic energy as it once again burst, striking the base of my cock, causing it to jump and throb as pre gushed out. "What are you doing… filthy demon…" I mewled, panting in unexpected bliss. "You were right on one point Kyo… we do look alike… although we are not from the same specie… however what that means it that I know all the pleasurable spot of your body." "You didn't?" "Oh I had a good idea… now shut up and let the pleasure consume you." "Have you two allied to make me horny?" "Yes…" answered a familiar voice in my head. I gasped, abruptly breaking the kiss as thick ropes of saliva drooled from my jaw. I hadn't Noticed but, while I was savoring the kiss I hadn't taken care of keeping my defenses up and, while I wasn't watching a familiar presence had sneaked past my mental barriers.
"How dare you enter my head like this?!" I hissed, baring my fangs at him. "Because you are my mate Kyo! And mates aren't supposed to keep secrets from each other." he replied, adding weight to his word by nudging my mind lovingly. I nodded, acknowledging his words; slowly opening up my mind, lowering my defenses as I felt our soul coil, cuddle, embrace just like we did. I shivered, without telling it I had missed that soft imperceptible caress of our united spirits. "You are right Tarken… I'm sorry… I didn't mean to keep you away." "It's alright… I understand that you wanted to prevent any… leak… if I can say so." he giggled, winking meaningfully, widening his stance a bit more. It took me time to understand what he meant as, under his belly his two half erected green spires dangled, steadily dripping on the ground, his heady musk filling my nose like it had been for the last minutes, turning me on more than that phantom paw and magic stimulation wrapped around my sensitive member could. However I had to give him that he was good at it; it was enjoyable, no; pleasurable to have his magic coiling around my hardened flesh, squeezing and stroking my member at a slow pace; just enough to keep me hard and eager. Pleasure like electricity jolted from my cock as pre squirted from my tip; painting my underbelly in long clear streaks. Tre feeling was unbearably exciting, as if like Kaos knew exactly where to touch to trigger another spurt of precum, to send jolts of pure raw pleasure in my already lust dazed brain. "Keep going…" I mentally moaned "don't stop unless I tell you to." "I didn't plan onto stopping anyway." he huffed "don't have to play bossy for that."
I focused my attention back on Tarken, grinning toothily as between my hindlegs my member swayed widely, slapping my belly with each throb, leaving hot slimy trails on my scales as the hardened pole drooled precum acting as a natural musky lube as it trickled down my shaft.
"Well… I have to admit you are right… we are mates…" I purred, stepping closer to him, letting him smell my strong virile musk, delighting myself of the sight of his flaring nostrils and slightly hazy eyes "then… let's act as we should…" I snickered. "What…" he gasped; managing to clear his mind from the lust fogging it.
It was too late, I swiftly dashed forward, bumping his right flank with my snout, hard enough to surprise him and throw him off balance. he toppled over, rolling on his back with all paws hanging there grasping at nothingness, wings helplessly flapping, sending grass in all directions. "Nice one Kyo." he giggled playfully "I absolutely didn’t see that one coming." "I'm the master of surprise." I giggled in return, burying my snout in his chest, lapping eagerly at his green scales, looking for spots I knew would make him squirm. "Stop! Stop that you oversized kid! It tickles!" He chirped, gently clawing at my snout. As my tongue dashed out of my mouth, bathing his crooning scales in warm saliva, as he giggled and purred under the restless assaults softening his scales from the base of his neck to the mid-section of his belly, even attempting a few licks on his insensitive paws, while strong whiffs of his potent musk waffled at my nostrils, making me salivate like crazy. As he moaned under my touch I leaned over him, scales brushing against scale as my lapping tongue followed the curve of his neck as he extended it, offering me the entire underside to slather in saliva. I focused all my attention on the bite mark, symbol of our eternal love to each other, that specific area particularly reactive to my probes, causing shivers to shake his body. The mark began glowing, pounding in time with his heartbeats as mine did, answering to his, giving my mostly black body a brighter blue hue. "You like that place do you." he groaned, eyes closed, body relaxed, enjoying the treatment. I said nothing, continuing my journey up until our snout bumped. He smiled amusingly. I did the same. "Why did you stop? It felt good." "Oh I have… greater things in mind." "Oh… I'm curious… what idea popped in that dirty mind." "Be patient… you will see." I chuckled, gripping his flanks with my paws, securing him in an embrace of sharp ivory talons. "What the…" he gasped.
Too late, before his brain had even registered the grasp of claws against his scales I had already pus my plan to work, making us both roll together in one powerful hips buck. The landing on the rocky ground was a bit rough as he squirmed on top of me, surprised and terrified by the sudden motion; his claws lashing out in all directions, trying to find something to latch onto. "Hey easy with the claws!! I gasped as his talons scraped my scales right under my left eye while he squeaks like a panicked whelp. "Are you gonna stop…" I grunted, trying mz best to keep him in place without injuring him which to be fair was a tricky task since he kept hieratically moving around. "Stop squirming." I growled "I don't want to… argh!" I gasped, a sudden as unexpected burst of pleasure shaking my being as I let out a loud moan. We both froze, trying to contain the abrupt flood of raw lust that roamed through us. We groaned in perfect union, panting slightly, blood pounding in my veins. It took me time to realized what had just happened as I tried to move my hindquarter in a more comfortable position, finding out that my member, rock-hard and throbbing was stuck; the tip held in place by something hot and tight squeezing my tip with humongous force, drawing me deeper in a quivering tunnel. My barbs flare, scraping the muscular surface massaging my cock, drawing a loud groan out of Tarken's mouth.
I shiver, understanding that I involuntarily penetrated my mate's tailhole while I was trying to hold him still, sinking the pointed head of my member in his unprepared pucker. I grit my teeth, stiffening a moan as I try to remove myself but it's nearly impossible. His muscles squeeze me in a vice-like grip, preventing me from pulling out, his puckered entrance kissing my shaft so tightly I can't get past it without ripping him in half. But at the same time that tight embrace is so pleasurable, so arousing. It feels so sweet to be in such a tight little passage, embraced from every side at once by velvety inner flesh, slowly pulled in deeper by an eager passage. An almost instinctive desire to thrust submerged me, overwhelming my weakened brain, urging me to hump, to breed, to cum, to fill that tight vent with creamy seed. I try to resist, I try to control myself but Tarken isn't helping, huffing in discomfort as his body naturally tries to push me out, his crudely penetrated hole tightening even more, trying to block my way forward. But that tightness, these powerful muscles massaging my length; pulling me in instead of pushing me out; the bliss clouding my mind as jolts of pleasure burst from my cock in time with the gushes of pre-seed that coat his hole in a thick lube.
"Gosh… that's where I realize you are really big…" "And you… so… small!" I cry out, tail thumping against the ground, claws piercing the dirt as my hips start gyrating on their own accord, easing the muscular rim as a first ridge pops inside with a wet noise accompanied by a sharp cry of pain from my mate. "By all the… divinities… it's so… painful…" "I-I know…" I hiss, trying to behave myself and not succumb to the wild lust brought by his gorgeous ass. "Then if you could stop moving it would be nice." "If you stopped squeezing me perhaps I could." "Hey it's hard not to do with a mammoth cock inside me. I didn't expect to be bred dry. Fuck! Could have used some lube… and a lot of warm ups." "Sorry… it wasn't intentional…" "Yeah yeah… that's what you always say." "I swear I didn't want to!!" I whined, bucking my hips uncontrollably, wedging another ridge inside him. "Don't try to lie I know you had that in mind." "No… actually I wanted to do… something completely different." "Oh… what is it?" "If I could remove myself I'd gladly show you." "Then stop pushing then!" "I can't…! And I can't pull out either… you're too tight!" "Great." He sighed "I suppose the only way there is to remove you from my butt is to make you climax." "I suppose too. It won't be hard though… with that tight rump around me." "Then… go ahead… but please go slow… and be really gentle I am not used to taking big dicks… even less without proper lube." "I will…" "You'd better be… otherwise regardless of your size I'll make you pay a hundred times for it."
I nodded, looking at him straight in his eyes, knowing all too well he would turn his menaces to actions if I dared to be too rough. I slowly pulled out, my ridges tugging at his puckered entrance as they pop out until only the head of my cock remains nestled inside. He grimaced, whining in pain from just that simple pull. "Damn… lube would have definitely been appreciated." he grunted, grimacing in pure pain, his paws clutching my belly and chest scales. "Now we will know that it's a must have…" I huffed, feeling the tightness of his quivering tunnel.
I slowly push forward, sinking one inch inside, moaning as his tight muscles clench around me, pleasuring my member from all sides, suckling my ridges in with lewd squelching noises. "Damn… you complain but you do love that little slut…" I growled mischievously, patting his back with a paw. "Stop teasing me and start thrusting." "Sorry… I don't know where that came from but… I don't want to hurt you." "Then go slow silly." "It's easy for you to say… you're not squeezed in a tight rump! Gosh… I could pound you… so hard…" I moaned, wild instincts kicking in, urging me to ram my penis deep and hard inside him; to sink all the way in, to knot him and in the end to fill him with seed until he cries no more all the while enjoying his cries of pain and pleasure. But I hold back, biting my lips as I slowly pulling out again then pushing back in, finding a slow and gentle pace, allowing Tarken to adjust to my size and girth as inch by inch, ridge after ridges wetly pop in and out of his tight vent closely followed by cascades of slick pre, drawing high pitched whines and moans from him.
His tightly shut eyes, his face twisted on a snarl of pure pain is breaking my heart. I see I'm hurting him… just as it hurts me to see him suffer but what else can I do? Pull out and risk ripping him apart? Or mate him and make him endure more pain. That was my dilemma at that moment but my body quickly took care of my worries, arousal trapping my mind in a haze of lust, my balls throbbing eagerly, waiting to release their content inside him.
I gritted my teeth and kept my pace up, thrusting a tiny bit deeper each time, sinking another ridge with each gentle push. Pre constantly dribbled from my cock tip in his hole, coating his clenching walls in a slick layer of warm pre-seed, making it easier for me to thrust. Slowly, patiently, with extreme care and caution I start giving harder thrusts, sliding in easier, gliding along the slippery walls. I can't keep my moans any longer as I cry out in bliss; eyes glazed with lust, tongue wildly lolling out on the side of my parted maw, breath short and ragged as I vigorously thrust in my mate's hole, shoving with each buck half of my member in his welcoming depth. Even he seems to be enjoying himself, now relaxed, lying across my belly, softly cooing, bouncing on my dick with each thrust, his anal vent stretching around me, inviting me deeper, his velvety flesh undulating around me, stimulated by every slightest motion I made inside. Just gyrating my hips seems to trigger bursts of pleasure; his hot pre-seed squirts from his two hard cocks, soaking in deep my scales with his musk as his twin members ground against my belly.
The only disadvantage to that positon was that like this, lying on my back I had less leverage to thrust inside him but it was not a bad thing as it made the mating slower and more sensual, requiring me to use my thick meaty shaft to pleasure him instead of crudely humping him.
Suddenly a sharp cry breaks the silence as a dash of green papers in my vision while the eager vent clamps shut around me, trapping me in a confine of heated flesh. A devious grin spread on my lips. I knew I had just hit the most sensitive of all pleasurable nubs of his anatomy: his prostate. My hips bucked forward, my cock jabbing his clenching hole, my ridges grinding against his prostate, sending jolts of pleasure traveling all the way to his brain. His body quaked under the might of pleasure, his whole frame shuddering with each tremor of delight. His neck twisted; crammed up as a cone of green flames erupted in the sky, radiating heat as they dissipated. "You do like that after all." I chuckled. "What do you imply?" "You like big dicks." "What about you shut that big mouth of yours before I take retaliation on that… big… gorgeous cock of yours." He moaned, pushing back on my cock, taking another inch in his needy hole, another ridge wetly popping inside as he took the lead for a split second. "Nevermind" I mumbled, pulling back, causing him to gasp as two more inches wedged inside his loosened hole with the next thrust. In the back of my head fear slowly crept in my brain, slipping past the haze of lust, making me tense as I realize the terrifying truth: I have already found his G-spot but barely half of my enlarged member is lodged inside him and I'm not even speaking of my knot swollen and hard, covered in a web of bulging veins, crowning my cock's base with two large bulbous orbs the size of large watermelons. I'm not even sure that thing can fit inside him.
I nervously shove my cock a bit harder, forcing another set of ridges inside, pre-seed messily gushing out around my member, easing the penetration a bit.
I keep working my shaft deeper, moaning in bliss every time his convulsing walls embrace my cock; a warm liquid flowing inside the tight passage, bathing my member in a pleasant heat. Is it blood? Precum? I don't know but I'm relieved to feel my penis entering in Tarken's guts with a renewed ease. His moans echoed to mine as I thrust faster, bit by bit sinking all the way in. A noticeable bulge forms in his belly, my tip poking deep within him. "So… deep…" I groaned, bucking harder, trying to push even deeper. "Keep going like this and you'll be in my stomach soon…" "Maybe I'll even stuff your mouth." I giggled aroused by the mere thought of having him truly impaled on my dick as my seed would gush out of his mouth. "Don't take your dreams for realities Kyo… you are… damn big… but not enough to go all the way through me." "That we will see." I growled, speeding up the pace, quickly bucking in his tight rump, gripping his cheeks with my claws as I shove myself deeper. "*gasp* Hey easy Kyo!" he squealed, his face contorted with pain. With a disappointed huff I slow down, grinning in satisfaction as I notice that three quarters of my cock are stuffed in his bowels. In my balls the pressure is becoming unbearable, thick seed welling up in my loins, ready to be released. His tight muscles did a great job of bringing me on the verge of climax, my whole length throbbing, spewing hot pre-ejaculate deep in his belly. My mind is flushed with raw desire, lust urging me to pound him into the ground and relieve my painfully full balls of the burden of seed.
Deep growls escaped my mouth, blood pounding in my veins with the ragged beating of my heart; my cock pulsing, twitching in his quivering vent, spewing a large quantities of slick pre-seed in the massaging hole. Tarken's own symphony of high pitched moans and groans sound like music to my ears, creating shudders of pure delight under my scales as I pumped my shaft faster. I didn't have enough room to thrust as I’d want to; shoving my cock all the way in and out and truly mate him was impossible so instead I opted for sharp, quick jabs of my member, going slightly deeper with each buck, grinding repeatedly against his prostate, stimulating his clenching passage from all sides as I smoothly penetrated deeper, the flesh turned slippery by the amount of spent fluids pooling inside.
Tarken was sprawled on top of me, moaning, panting, eyes blurred by bliss, his twin cocks throbbing, spilling gallons of smelly pre-seed on my belly, the swollen spires aching for attention. I am delighted to feel him push back with each thrust, our frames rocking together as he willingly accepts more in his shapely rump.
Finally, after an eternity of thrusting, of struggling, of easing, of relaxing, of holding back, of pent up lust and cum I felt it. We both froze, trembling as it gently slapped his backside. We shared a nervous look, both sweating hard and trembling; afraid of what would come. "You took it all… I'm… m impressed…" I gasped, shaking from head to toe in a mix of fear and excitement, his muscles massaging me from all sides, triggering gushes of hot thickening pre and loud moans from my panting maw "I didn't expect you would be capable to take all of me." "I'm full of resources Kyo don't forget it." "Oh… I wouldn't dare to. So I suppose you are ready for the next part." "Next part?" he repeated, a silly look on his face "What you don't plan on knotting me!?" "Why not?" "Kyo you're already…; let's face it… big… but your knot… it's simply huge! There is No way I can take that thing." He stammered, throwing horrified looks at my throbbing inflated knot. "I'm sure you can." "I'm stretchy but I'm not made of rubber!" "Indeed no… but I'm certain you can handle that extra girth." "You're insane!" "Well… let's find out." I chuckled, grinning toothily as I came to a more comfortable position, firmly grabbing him, holding my trembling mate in place as I resume thrusting, pulling out until only the tip remains lodged inside as all the fluids I deposited inside shower my cock before slamming all the way in again, my knot mashing against his pucker, the tightly clenched muscles denying me entrance. "Stop… clenching…" I grunted, rapidly pumping my dick in and out of him, my pre-drenched length slipping last the tight entrance with ease, wet plops filling the silence as a mess of different liquids flowed out of his hole, bathing my crotch in gooey warmth. Tarken quickly began whimpering, moaning as I bred him wild, holding tight on me as he bounced on my cock with each thrust. "Kyo… slow… down!" he whined, tears flowing down his cheeks but eyes glazed with raw need, panting rapidly and members spurting their entrancing fluids on me. My fears were soon wiped to the side as he finished his sentence "I'm… close…!" he cried out, sinking back on my cock, my knot roughly smacking his rump in another gush of liquid lust. "You little bitch love taking big dicks." I growled, enticingly gyrating my hips, pressing my inflated knot against his pucker, feeling his tight hole stretch even wider as I tried to push it in, reaching his flesh’s limits.
The plethora of whimpers and moans he let out was a delight to my ears as I tried with all my might to stuff his bowel with my knot and get rewarded by the unequaled pleasure of an orgasm. Even he was reacting, pushing back on my member, trying willingly to tie us together, going against his own protest, overtaken by the sheer bliss of our savage mating.
I feel his pucker slowly spread open by my knot, the flesh pushed to its limits under the added girth.
I let my more dominant side take the lead, infusing lust in my thoughts as I pull out, ridges messily popping out in a cascade of blended fluids, flared barbs scraping his overstimulated passage. I kept removing myself until only the tip remained inside, coated in warm lube, embraced, held in place by wanting muscles.
I took a deep breath, leaving my mate time to brace himself before I forcefully thrust, shoving the entirety of my cock, making him cry out in bliss
I let out a muffed growl upon entering the spasming vent again, every scale chilling with wild pleasure.
I tensed, my claws curling inward, my muscles stiffening like ropes, a wave of pure lust crashing down on my bliss-dazed brain, my tail slamming in the dirt, my wings unfurling uncontrollably. Even Tarken had stopped moaning as we stared in awe at each other, realizing what just happened. I tried to pull away but something kept me inside. I tried again a bit harder, causing a high pitched whining noise to rise from my mate's throat as he arched his back, his rear muscles clamping shut, wrapping around my member, squeezing me tight in a soft embrace. I could feel it now as pride swelled in my heart, the large bulge sealing Tarken's hole, lodged deep in his ass, allowing our scales to meet, his rump sitting on my lap. A wide grin spread itself across my face as I gently thrust inside, only managing a few weak bucks, the hole around me too tight for a proper ride. Tarken grinned in turn, a malicious light glinting in his eyes.
My balls jumped in their sack, my cock throbbed in his tightening passage, semen welling up in my member, on the verge of erupting. His muscular passage tightened around my cock, squeezing my swollen knot like a fruit he wanted to extract the sweet juices from. "Tarken…! I'm gonna… cum!" I cried out in bliss. "I know! Don’t hold back… surrender all your seed to me!" he purred, wiggling on my cock, causing my tip to brush against sensitive spot of his I didn’t know existed, resulting in an increased tightness around my shaft. I let out a loud groan, arching my back, twisting my neck high as I felt the impending climax near. “I'm…… I'm…" I moaned. "Go ahead… don't hold back…" "I'm… CUMMING!" I roared, fire spitting out from my mouth, a magnificent blend of black and blue flames bursting from my throat, rushing toward the sky, impressive flames lashing in all directions.
My cock pulsed, my balls tightened as a wave of raw pleasure washed over me. The first shot of cum hit hard, filling his tight tunnel as it erupted from my bloated cock. Tarken gasped, clutching his belly as warm seed flooded his backside. I moaned; falling back as I let my seed flow.
A strong scent reached my nostrils, a potent smell that made me salivate, a fragrance I knew too well, a spiced, delicate, enticing but powerful, overpowering, enthralling scent of Tarken's fertile cum. I looked down. He was sprawled on my bally, moaning his lungs out, eyes tightly closed and a satisfied expression plastered across his face.
Between us I could sense his twin maleness throb, emptying their content over my scales, covering my belly in sweet warmth as white rivers streamed down along my flanks and underbelly.
Meanwhile my cock kept throbbing in his tight rear, spurting thick ropes of cum in the depth of his anus, coating his insides a nice pearly white shade. It was almost painful between his rhythmically clenching rear as he rode out his own orgasm and my own rod painfully hard and mapped with engorged veins, pumping more cum in his passage.
Soon I was completely trapped in a scalding hot place, drenched in my own essence while more came out, gushing hard in his convulsing tunnel, having only one way to go: deeper. His belly bulged, rounding under the increasing amount of cum I injected in his bowels, pooling in his guts. I grabbed his belly, feeling my cum slosh inside underneath the tough scales as it swelled, more creamy seed filling him.
I leaned back, letting my mind slip away, giving in the torrent of carnal lust, savoring the moment as my nuts deflated, depositing their fertile content in Tarken's awaiting hole. My member kept spurting more, an endless flow of burning hot semen unleashed in his appealing body, so much in fact that it became uncomfortable, so much that his heavying weight becoming annoying to bear, pressing down on my belly a bit more with each passing second; so much seed in fact that some managed to breach the tight seal of my knot and gush out in the open with each new surge of cum. I grimaced, stiffening a moan as I felt my own fresh jizz splatter On my crotch, slipping in my parted slit, bathing the base of my overstimulated cock in unbearable warmth while the rest travelled down, following the form of my taut sack and even reaching my wrinkling pucker. My eyes shot wide open as I let out another strangulated roar, seed gushing with a renewed force in the stuffed passage. It felt like climaxing a second time right after a first fulfilling orgasm. I tightened my grip on Tarken, holding still as more cum erupted in and out of his full passage. It was only at that point that I realized how big his belly had grown, how bloated with seed he was as I prodded inside.
It was weird, satisfying, delightful, fulfilling to have him stuffed to the brim but at the same time so awful so frightening. I tensed, fighting the desire to give in once again and let loose more seed, wondering when it would stop, if Tarken was alright.
It eventually did, the powerful gushes becoming weak spurts of clear, lighter, sterile mess as my cock decided to shrink. I sighed; reassured to know it had finally stopped. My body was spent, exhausted and satisfied, lighter, relieved from that crippling burden. Even Tarken seemed alright, happy, still smiling and groaning as my member softened inside him. "Are you ok?" "Full…" he grunted. "I'm sorry for that…" "Don't be… it was nice." he huffed, testing the firmness of my knot, still too hard to be removed yet. "Didn't it hurt?" "It did… but your seed will do a wonderful job of nurturing my hole back to health. Beside… I won't have to worry about feeding for a while with what you just so kindly offered me." "Isn't it a bit… cumbersome?" I wonder, watching his ballooned belly. "I feel heavy but it's all good. Beside now I know that if I want my meal in bed I'll just have to suck on that juicy cock of yours." "You're gross…" I laughed, quite turned on by the thought of feeding my mate with milky cum, to see his belly swell with my load, to see his face painted in white, catch the scent of my own release after he would have feasted on my cream. "I know that turns you on." he enticingly purred. "Maybe…" I admitted, nuzzling him affectionately.
"Maybe that form isn't all that bad after all." he whispered. I tensed, gritting my teeth as I stared in awe at him but I took a deep breath and resolutely replied "maybe…". Just saying that word sent shivers down my spine. "Glad to hear you say that." he whispered "but Kyo… don't say that just to please me… you have to be honest with yourself and truly accept it." "You're asking me to much I'm afraid." I sighed. His disappointment was obvious; even without having to see his face I knew it. I thought about it, looked down at my own scales, watching my clawed paws as if I had just noticed their existence, sensing the energy flowing my veins, rumbling with held back strength waiting to be unleashed. It was terrifying for me to feel it pound in my veins, giving me unimaginable strength but in the back of my mind I knew it was normal, it was the way it was meant to. I didn't know where the hell that sensation came from but I couldn't deny it and it felt good. "Well… maybe you could help me getting accustomed to my new form?" I cooed. "If that implies dicks it’s no! My back is already sore enough from what you did to me." "No I assure you it doesn't involve you taking anything in your ass." "Why don't I believe you?" "Relax I promise your rump is out of danger. However though what I had in mind has a few… dicks in it." "Darn it! What was I thinking? I knew you were gonna say that?" "Chill out and let me explain."
Tarken grumbled something under his breath then made me a sign to proceed. "To be completely honest it's what I originally had in mind." "Which is?" "Well… since I'm… supposedly stuck… believing you and Kaos… why not experiment a bit?" "I don't like where that conversation is going…" "Be quiet and let me explain. What I thought about is… " I hesitated, pondering for a split second "to put it bluntly I want you to hump me." "What!?" Gasped Tarken "Are you serious?" "I couldn't be more."
He observed me with a puzzled look on his face, maw hanging agape as he analyzed my figure in search of a clue on my intentions. Slowly a wry smile curled his lips as he shook his head. A giggle rose in the air, surprising me. "What is so funny?" "Nice try Kyo!" he shouted, dislodging my knot from his loosened hole, cringing as white cum gushed out of his spent vent. "But that size of yours has some drawbacks as well." "Such as?" "You can hump me and pry me wide open with your cock but there is no way I could do it." "Why not?" "I'm too small!" he yelled "Even if I thrusted with all my might I wouldn't be able to bring you any pleasure! I'm not even sure I'd be capable of reaching your sweet spot." "Oh I think you could." "You're persistent!" he huffed, barking at me in barely contained annoyance "I cannot possibly mate with you while you are so big!" "Tell me why?" "Because I'm not as well-endowed as you! I can't rival in any way with you! It's even probable you wouldn't even feel my presence inside you."
I grinned in turn, blushing as he mentioned my member. "But who said you had to use only one?" "Excuse me!?" "Nature gifted you with two of these beauties so why not make use of them? My body is more than large enough to take them both." "That doesn't solve the problem!" "But there is no issue to solve. I have noticed that my anus is very… receptive to any kind of stimulation so I'm sure you will make me squirm in pleasure… just like you always did." "You think?" "I'd bet you could make me cry out." I replied, planting a swift kiss on his lips "you are a smart and inventive one Tarken; I'm sure you'll find a way to make us both enjoy it." I added, caressing his face as softly as I could.
"That sounds absolutely fantastic Kyo but… I think it will have to wait." "Why? We've got all the time of the universe ahead of us." "Not exactly; we have some important people waiting for us… and some unfinished business to take care of."
I dipped my head down, feeling guilty all of a sudden. "I don't know…" I let out, shamefully looking away. "I… I don't want to show up… looking like this." "Don't be ashamed of that Kyo no one will judge your look." "I doubt that." "Kyo we appreciate you for what you are, not for what you look like." "I know but… it still feels wrong to… show myself in public under that form. It's like wearing a suit… a ridiculously big, funny suit." "Don't say that it suits you like a glove." "Thanks Tarken…" I whispered, sharing an enamored look with him. "You're welcome now let's head back home before other naughty idea pop in that dirty mind." "I never heard you complain about them." I giggled. "Who said I did?" he replied, a mischievous grin twisting his traits. "More seriously though we have to make all the light on that story and find out what you wanted to know about your brother." "You're right" I admitted. I had completely forgotten that part, too busy with my mate to worry about that demon "there are some answers I need to get." I’m not sure he'll be very talkative." "Don't worry… when I'll be done with him he will be a real chatterbox." I growled with a devious smirk.
"Maybe… but before you start torturing the guy I think you should talk about that with someone." "Who do you think? Owen? In your dreams?" "No I meant your rider silly. He needs you; he is worried about you. He wants to make sure you are alright as much as you want to protect him." "Allen…" I whispered, gulping down nervously. "But… I don't want to expose him to… this again!" "He is strong… and with you by his side you'll be capable of dealing with this."
"Let's go then…" I murmur, taking off in the instant. "Hey wait for me I don't have as many wings as you do." "And you're heavier… my adorable chubby mate." I replied eying his swollen belly bouncing underneath him. "Shut up…" he grunted, joining me in the sky. "Do you want me to carry you?" "Keep that mouth shut and fly before I rip all these wings from you!"
"Sir yes sir" I chuckle as I soar higher, flying away with him following behind or at least trying.

Allen
How long as t been since they left? How long have I been waiting for his return? How long have I been wondering where he was? How many hours have passed by since Tarken left, pretending to go visit someone? A friend as he said.
It felt like ages since Kyo had left, sealing his mind away as he flew away and even more since Tarken did the same. I couldn't stop wondering, asking myself questions, my mind so empty, devoid of his familiar presence.
I threw a quick look around, life seemed to have taken back its rights in the small dragon-sized city, groups of dragon and humans alike walking around, enjoying life and what it had to offer, savoring a snack or bathing in the sunlight, enjoying the company of friends and comrades or using the privacy of the shadow of a large tree for more intimate actions. In the corner I saw a couple of dragon; a male and a female passionately kiss under the foliage, oblivious to the outside world.
Everyone seemed unaware of what had happened, only a few people commenting the unusual state of the road there or grumbling about those unusual puddles staining the pavement when it hadn't been raining for weeks.
But none of them knew that, where they casually walked now once stood three potential threats to their lives.
However, most bystanders threw me a curious, wondering glance as they walked by, all of them asking themselves what was I doing here? I threw a furtive glance to my left. He hadn't moved, still here just like before.
I had to admit the whole situation was amusing for any outsiders or any person that knew us and seeing the scene from an outsider's point of view it was making some eyebrows raise.
We were both sitting on a bench between a streetlamp and a bush covered of blossoming flowers. We both had our weapons leaning against the stone construction, a sword for me, and a double barrel shotgun for Kyle.
The bench is large enough to welcome at least five human butts but we are sitting on the edges, at the extreme opposite from each other. It was as if an invisible barrier separated us, kept us far apart.
The silence between us was deep, impenetrable; full of unspoken words wishing to be let out. None of us had yet dared to break that heavying mutism, rather staying cloistered in our own thoughts. Although, as stoic and emotionless as he tried to look like I saw his nervousness, his twisting hands grabbing onto a thin piece of shiny metal he had been twisting since Tarkan had left. Even he was secretly scrutinizing the skies; wishing to see his beloved dragon once again. But nothing came disturbing the immense blue sea, the clouds following their course, packs of white cottony sheep floating it the emptiness. Sadly nothing peaked out in the blue, not a glimpse of green, not even a black point in the distance. My mind was empty, ripped apart from half of myself… if it wasn't completely shattered, my soul broken, my heart sinking as I thought; melancholy gripping me tight s I realized how much I had lost, my dragon had flown away, cutting all contact with me, my lover had broken away… and maybe more.
"Damn… do you have any idea how long it has been since they left?" grumbled a voice next to me. I flinched, my muscles tensing under my skin. I threw my mate a quick, surprised look; not even sure he had actually spoken. "Hey Allen I'm talking to you!" "What?" I grumbled; pretending to be pestered. "Isn't it worrying you a bit? I mean they've both left since… I don't even know how long and we have no clue on their location."
"It does… but what can we do? We're clueless." "And helpless… I hate that feeling." he huffed, his fists clenching in obvious frustration. I had to admit I wasn't doing better myself, the emptiness in my head was becoming more and more bothering, a sensation of loneliness nothing could feel… or maybe something could… or rather someone.
"Regardless of where Tarken went I'm sure he somehow joined with Kyo." "You think?" he stammered, surprised. "I'm almost certain." I replied. "How? We don't know where he went?" "Indeed but I'm sure Tarken knows." "How can you be so sure?" "There is a great bond between them" I stated with a dreamy grin "a bond too strong to ever be fully broken." I let out, throwing him an insisting look, only stopping when he looks away "so that's why I'm almost certain that by now they are together in some place." "But where?" "If only I knew…" I grumbled.
"They've changed quite a lot don't you think?" He asked after another minute of silence. "What do you mean?" "Well… since we met… they've become… different." "In a bad way?" "No… Not at all…" he gasped, eyes wandering everywhere except toward me. "I mean… before you and Kyo popped into our life Tarken and I were quite different from what you know now." "In which way?" "Tarken was always either too busy with his merchant job which was only a cover for the Order to allow him to move stuff around for them. Or when he wasn't doing that he was just hanging at home doing nothing… when he wasn't screwing around and leaving cum everywhere." A chuckle escaped my mouth "and you… what were you doing?" "You mean when I wasn't cleaning up behind him? Well… I guess I was just doing my duties, tending to the house… keeping contact with the Order… planning raids and ambushes or using the mansion's basement as storage for their supplies or to hide one of their men." "Quite a busy life." "Yep, no time for myself."
I nodded, admitting without a hint of doubt that he was right. If Kyo hadn't showed up that fateful night I would have remained in my small village lost in the mountains, nestled in that hollow green valley. I would have spent my entire life there as nothing more than a poor farm handler; I would have found a wife, married, raised a family and eventually died with my dreams of adventure, probably unaware of my father's past. And Kyo… what would have become of him? He would be dead, a cold corps buried in the mud, drained of his life energy, betrayed, fooled manipulated by his own kind.
“Kyo…” my heart tightening at the mere thought of him. He was so different from the creature I had met. I still remember the look on his face when he was brought captive in the village, wounded, beaten, exhausted, sad but proud all the same. A smile curled my lips as I remembered him standing tall, defiant before the prince Ulrick. Then I recalled his tears when the bond between us was sealed; how dishonored he felt, how pained he looked, how hatefully he glared at me. I remembered how he treated me, how he hated me, how he disregarded me as a human, how he regretted that bonding. But I also saw how overtime he softened, how he came to trust me, to feel grateful, to accept me… to love me even; although that part was making me blush; how he had learned to live with me and enjoyed it; how his curiosity toward humans rose; how even he came to understand me and through that grew wiser. His smiling face made my heart sink. Kyle was right… he had changed, greatly changed for the better.
"You're right… they're not the horny, sex craved beast that they were in the beginning." I agreed. "That… is not so sure; after all they'd still hump all day if we let them." "You can't change dragons I suppose." "Not in that way at least." "What do you think about?" "Well… their behaviors have changed, their way of thinking as well… that’s even truer for Kyo. After what happened I highly doubt he'll attempt to cheat on Tarken again." I explain, a proud grin curling my face. "Don't cast him aside too soon Tarken has also undergone some changes; some really needed one." "Like what?" "He opened up I think."
I silently nodded, staring at the sky in the same awaiting manner. "But… overall they have improved and even became quite an enjoyable company." "On that we agree."
The silent took back its rightful place, both of us out of words to fill it.
"Allen…" he timidly called. "Yes…" "I'm sorry for ditching you like this."
I remained as silent as a tomb, gritting my teeth to not blow out and spit all my held back frustration at his face. "I know that you're angry…" "Angry is far below the truth." I grunted, finally turning my gaze in his direction. He shivered; it was the first time I actually saw him tremble before someone "I hate you with all my heart!" I screamed, making him flinch as he shuffled in place "I loved you, I adored you with all my heart, I risked my life to save your butt; I would have traveled all the lands to save you; I would have slayed any foe who had dared to stand in my way to find you and I would have attempted the impossible to protect you." "I know Allen… I know it now." he whispered, looking down at the gravel. I slid along the bench, slowly coming closer to my sobbing mate. It was weird to see him actually sob, tears gathering in the corner of his eyes. "How could I doubt you…" he sighed, looking away as a first tear slipped from his eyes. "Don't cry." I whispered, landing a hand on his shoulder. He flinched but he didn't pull away. "No… it's not that… I have something in the eye." "Yes… god old excuses." I chuckled. "Shut up!" he sobbed, gently pouncing my shoulder. I giggled lightly, answering with a gentle punch in his flank.
His eyes glinted with malice as he bumped me back with his shoulder, making me stagger back, losing my balance on the narrow bench. I felt myself slipping with nothing to hold my back. With a gasp I reached forward, grabbing his shoulder as I topple over the edge. "What the…" he squeaked as he fell with me. We both landed roughly in the grass with a loud thud, huffing as all the air is kicked out of my lungs.
We share a shy look, feeling all the gazes pointed at us, all the eyebrows wondering what was happening. I knew we were looking silly to all bystanders around, humans and dragons alike watching us like a big show was about to unfold.
We shared a strange look, mix of all our blended emotions: surprise, embarrassment, childish amusement, silent apologies, so many unspoken feelings blended together. A smile curled the corner of our lips as the stare went on, a light giggle passing through my lips. He answered in the same fashion, a low chuckle sneaking past the barriers of his sealed lips.
Slowly, imperceptibly our bodies shook with amusement as a wide grin spread over our face, almost childish joy glinting in our eyes as our giggles became louder.
In no time we were frantically laughing, clutching out stomach as burst after burst of laughter exploded out of our mouths, so loud, so violent it quickly became painful as our lungs were starting to burn from air starvation. "Oh fuck…" gasped Kyle, chocking on air, "I don't recall laughing so much." "Me neither…" I grunted, trying to get back on my feet, panting, breathless.
We sat on the bench again, slowly catching our breath with a feeling of relief filling our hearts. It felt good to laugh together… just like before… before all that crap fell on us and let doubt sink in. "Allen… I was wrong." he finally let out in a more serious tone "I shouldn't have doubted you." "Don't be… I doubted to… you were right in that regard… with everything that just happened… I would have acted just the same." "Yes… these sex driven lizards make our lives much harder." he grunted, "And far more interesting." "Or annoying." "It's all about point of view." I finished. "Indeed." he approved with a wry smile. "You know… I talked with Kyo about it." "And what did he say?" "Surprisingly… he understood." "That's… unexpected." "Not really… he is more caring than I thought." "In fact you're right… even when Tarken tried to keep him busy he would still being worried about you." "That's good to know I suppose." I mumbled, blushing slightly as I realized how my dragon truly cared for me. "Did he say anything else?" wondered Kyle, darting curious eyes at me. "He promised to be more careful with pouring his emotions in my mind." "That would be nice." agreed Kyle "but to be fair I put all the blames on Kyo but Tarken has is fair account of mistakes." "Like what?" "Let's see… raping Kyo on his first day." "Raping is a big word." "Well… being rough and too forward if you wish." "That wasn't the smartest way to get along." I admitted with a smile. "And you remember that fateful night where we… mated together?" "You mean when Kyo got completely wasted?" "That precise night," he nodded. “Of course! How could I forget that?” "The best night of my life” he whispered, so low I doubted I had actually heard him “but you don't know the entire story: while Kyo was all drugged and getting bred Tarken didn't hold back either." "Really!" I shouted a bit too loud, attracting all the gazes to us again. "He could have just left the place but instead he spent quite a lot of time in there, having his way with other drakes." "That scaly bastard." I growled "wait until Kyo learns about that."
"Don't create too much discord between them they just restarted." "I know… beside I'm not the one that should reveal it." "Let them handle their relationship." "I will… if they let us handle ours." I stated. I saw him squirm on the bench, looking down with an obvious embarrassment. "I know it wasn't the smartest thing to do." he sighed "but… after what happened between Kyo and Tarken… It let me thinking and I feared that it wouldn't last… I mean… they have a great influence on us there is no denying this and I feared that we might end up breaking apart… because of them."
I nodded, acknowledging his words "Do you really think our love is only holding by a few fragile strings?" "No but… whenever they do something it's like a hurricane storming through our brains and… well… not leaving us much of a choice and making us pay for their actions." "Honestly… after thinking… at first I would have agreed… but… now I think that… it helped us." "What do you mean?" he asked with squinted eyes. "Think about it for a sec; what would have happened if they hadn't helped… in their usual lewd way. We wouldn't be together… we wouldn't have dared to close that gap… we wouldn't have even met if not for Kyo and his bright ideas!" "Yes… that's true." he mumbled, rubbing his chin "you… you had feelings before? I mean… for me?" "To be honest… not really. Actually I hadn't thought about it before I came across that horny drake that is Kyo, you know… handling a house almost alone with a drunken father is quite the full time job." "Agreed… and being the maid and willing servant of a constantly horny and lewd young male dragon isn't any better." "I imagine…" I laughed, my imagination going wild as I imagined Kyle's daily life “And you… did you have… feelings for me before?" he shyly asked "Well… it's… not an easy question…" he mumbled, a crimson red blush blossoming over his cheeks "I… I didn't really have time to think about it since we'd been moving all the time… but I have to give you that you had… and you still have… something handsome." "Thank you. I'm glad they were there to give our relationship a good start." "You mean the weirdest day of my life!" he shouted. "I was so mad." I giggled, recalling that awkward morning where I woke up naked in the same bed as him with my cock covered of dried semen and some unknown slimy substance. "Just… where the hell that idea came from?" he sighed. "We were all drunk I think." "I know but… why put us in the same room?" "Alcohol… and a bit of laziness." "Why undress us? How did they even manage to do that?" “Silly dragon brain… they're not very keen on wearing clothes so… but how he managed to remove them is still a mystery even for me" "Yes… but… why sucking your cock?" he lets out, staring at me in awe. "That I don't know… drunken dragons do even more senseless things than usual."
"It doesn't make any sense! But I'm happy they did." he murmured, his hand finding mine, our fingers mingling on their own. "You know… I think they did much more great things for us… I mean without them we wouldn't have gone so far together." "If only they were less sex-craving beasts it would be even better." "I think Kyo understood that… as did Tarken; it shouldn't be too much of a problem."
Our eyes met, the lost passion ignited once again.
Our figures closed in, my eyes still glued to his, our hot breathes washing over the other's skin.
Suddenly I tensed, sensing a familiar presence in the back of my mind. Hope swelled in my chest as I recognized it. “K-Kyo…” I mumbled happily. I had been longing to feel him again and finally he had surfaced, his spirit peaking in our bond. I gripped Kyle's hand tighter, shivering when I felt him do the same. "You felt that too?" I enquired. "I do." he mumbled in a deep relief.
"What the!" I gasped when I tried to reach for the growing presence just to feel our connection open up.
In an instant; barely a split second my mind was invaded from all sides; flooded by one feeling: an intense pleasure pouring directly in my core. It was like all gates had broken loose, letting an unstoppable stream of emotions flow inside me. Before my eyes Kyle's face contorted in a similar manner; his eyes going wide; his mouth opening on a suffocating gasp.
In a matter of seconds the tension in my muscles loosened, wiped away by the torrent of a draconic bliss coursing in my veins. Kyle was in an identical state, his traits softening under the assault of a carnal delight. "Said they had learned?" he groaned, pressing both hands against a growing bulge in his pants. "Well… maybe not… completely changed." I stuttered, struggling to not be overwhelmed by the might of the pleasure cascading inside me, knowing all too well most of it was directly rushing to a specific part of my body. My member grew hard in a heartbeat, pushing against my underwear, forming a noticeable tent in my pants.
I gritted my teeth, stiffening a moan as another wave of pleasure splashed in my head. "That's… even worse than usual…" groaned Kyle, eyes glazed with lust "it's like… they're… sharing it with us." "That's… intense…" I gasped, trying to cope with the flood of Kyo's pleasure being pumped inside me while more blood was being pumped in my rock-hard erection.
Without knowing it we had leaned against one another, panting raggedly as our dragon's pleasure overcame our resistances, basking us in their sheer delight. "Damn it… that's… powerful." "Never felt like that before." I grunted, trying with all my might to withstand the flood of raw animalistic ecstasy.
However, unlike other times where I had felt Kyo's untamed pleasure roam through me while he was busy breeding someone today was different: it wasn't just his overwhelming pleasure leaking in my head through our mind link, inducing my thoughts with the same raw bliss, triggering my own arousal; no today was not like this, today it was like all the gate holding back had broken loose, all his mental walls crumbled, letting a boiling torrent of lust in my brain.
Despite my resistance I felt my body slowly abandon to his shared pleasure, my heartrate speeding up, my shallow breathes echoing with Kyle's own.
I blinked my eyes a few times, gasping when I noticed an odd detail: my eyes weren't showing me what they should have: instead of the city built in the rocky crater I saw tall mountain peaks crowned with snow; the sound of the blabbering crowd replaced by rumbles of a cascading mountain torrent speeding down the slope in its narrow bed. Even my body felt heavier, larger, and bulkier. "What the…" I gasped "I'm inside him." "You're kidding!" "No… I… I feel everything… like it was me doing it…. Damn that's hot." I groaned loudly. "Speak for yourself" he grunted, his face twisted by a grimace of pain. "You feel it too?" "It's like having a tree trunk rammed up my ass." he winced. "Not the best spot to be on the bottom." I chuckled. "Shut up or I'll fuck you silly." "I'm waiting for you." I sniggered provokingly. "Wait until we're somewhere more private. " "You like being on the bottom." "I'm so gonna slam you into a wall! Damn why do they have to be so lewd?!"
We moan in perfect union, rocking on the bench as our dragons mate wildly, humping roughly, allowing us to share in that intimate moment, their blended feelings invading us, intertwining with ours; awaking a long dormant lust.
But something was off in Kyo's mind, two opposite sides battling: on one hand the wild, innate lust urging him to pound Tarken harder, but on the other side there was a rational desire to hold back, to be careful, and to bring pleasure rather than pain to his mate. That was when I felt it, the lurking beast of darkness tamed, held captive inside him, present but not a threat anymore. "I'm proud of you." I whispered, feeling his soul chill. He had felt me… but only for a split second, too focused on his mating, too basked in ecstatic pleasure to care.
Quickly their pleasure expended, filled us to the brim as their climax drew closer. "If I wet myself Tarken is gonna pay." grunted Kyle, trying to fight the impending orgasm.
Before we could talk more a wall of orgasmic delight came crashing down on us, submergi,ng us with raw bliss. I could almost feel Kyo's mighty spire pulse, gushing gallons of thick potent cum in Tarken's hole. My body was on the verge of probably the most powerful orgasm of my entire life, my balls tightening with pent-up seed about to be released, my turgid member twitching in my pants, dripping pre-cum in my underwear.
Kyle was pretty much in the same state, gasping for breath, his body arching with need; his hands clutching his twitching eel of a cock.
But before we could reach that heavenly delight the stream of pleasure was brutally cut short, leaving us on the brink. "They are… t-the worst tease in the entire world!" he winced, recovering his senses after that unwanted bliss. "That was… really intense." I panted "I never felt like that before." "Yes… I-It felt like… like we were inside them… with them." "The bond probably strengthened…" I mumbled "after all we've been through." "Maybe…" he whispered, still shaken as we came down from our mind-blowing pleasure, our groin itching, tingling, arching for a much deserved climax.
"They've change indeed… but not in that regard." he sniggered. "Can't change those lustful dragons I suppose." I sighed. "But our lives would be so much more boring without them." "Indeed." I let out with a smile.
We lied across the bench, recovering from the violent and unexpected ordeal, our eyes turned toward the skies above. "At least I suppose that kind of mess won't happen again." he lets out. "What do you mean?" "One of them cheating on the other." "Probably not; they've learned their lesson and I hope you did to." "Don't tease me Allen you don't want to trigger me." "It's not my intention." "Listen I know that wasn't the smartest thing to do but I was in all honesty scaled that these dumb lizards would ruin everything because they keep doing stupid things without thinking." "We've been through more than that to just break apart! We're stronger than that." "But we're weak all the same." “I suppose it’s part of being a dragon rider; you share everything with your dragon… even the naughty bits. And by the way if by weak you imply I'm weak I swear I'm gonna make you bite the dust." "No no no! I didn't mean that… I know I can't resist either." "I think it can be learned but we'll have to discuss that matter with them." "Speaking of the devils." he grunted, raising a finger toward the south.
I squinted my eyes, scanning the limpid blue until I noticed, mere glimmer out of the blue two forms, one small and green, the other larger, wearing an inky black color quickly closing in.
Soon I could discern their broad wings flapping widely, playing with the invisible currents, laughing of the wind, uncontested masters of the skies. "Here they come." I sighed, watching them quickly dive toward the ground, wings folded against their flanks as they gained speed, the ground closing in under them at neck breaking speed. At the last second they pulled up, extending their membranous wings and casually glided toward the ground, landing before us in a powerful gust of wind, throwing gravel everywhere. We covered our face as small stones flew all around us; all the nearby dragons and human watching their majestic comrades land. "Can't you two stop showing off?" grunted Kyle. "Nope." replied Tarken.
I ignored them, my eyes focused only on the tall black creature standing before me, dominating me from his height but looking all tiny and miserable. "Kyo…" I whispered, almost running to him. "Don't…" he quickly yelped when I tried to caress his scales. I ignored his plea and let my skin make contact with his scaly hide. Instantly he started shivering, all his scales trembling under my touch. He was tense like a rope, staring at me in awe and fear as I slowly rubbed his scales, earning a few low purrs in reply.
Slowly he crouched low until his belly touched the ground, allowing me to rub his muscular chest, his whole frame shivering as I found the sensitive spots that made him murr. His bulky snout came down, bumping in my back, shoving me straight into his warm chest, driving me in a hug of some sort while his snout nuzzled the back of my head, his nostrils blowing hot air in my hairs as he let out a deep purr. "I'm glad you came back." I whispered, still pressed in his chest. "I promised I would… beside… I couldn't possibly leave you… we're bonded remember." "Just… don't seal your mind like this you got me worried." "I know… I'm sorry but I had to… I needed some time to… cool down and… think." "Yeah yeah whatever." I chuckled; pretending to be unaware of what had happened. "How are you doing?" "I'm fine I suppose. My mind is still full of unanswered questions but I'm… appeased." "And… the…" "Apparently for now I'm stuck like this and there is no real way to… turn me back…" "It's alright." I whispered, reaching back and giving his face a gentle pat. "How everyone can be so confident about all this? It's… it’s just… not me; that form is everything except me." "As you say but even though I still see my dragon under all this darkness:" I whispered, turning around, cupping his snout in my hands as we stared in each other’s eyes. "Thanks Allen… it means a lot… but I… I still feel wrong to show myself like this before you." "Why ? I've already seen you like this quite a few times." "You're right… but I fear I could do something wrong all the same." "You never hurt me… unless you did something foolish or without thinking but you never did harm me on purpose." "I know… but… I… I don't control that body Very well." "You just need practice." "And I don't… feel… like myself while like this." "But you're acting just like always." I replied, tightly hugging his snout. "Stop that…" he huffed, gently pushing me away with one immense paw. It was large but he made proof of such gentleness I felt as if I had been hit by a soft breeze. "See; you're perfectly fine." I let out, tickling a sensitive spot in his neck.
"Enough talking about me." he stated, trying to change subject "tell me how you've been doing while I was away?" "Fine… worried but fine, nothing happened." "Don't try to play the fool with me Allen." he purred in my ear, winking meaningfully at me "so how's it going?" he interrogated directly in my mind. I smirked "better; slowly but surely." "I'm glad your relationship is back on track." "Not yet but we're making progress." "Don't dream too much Allen you've still got a long way to go." shouted a familiar voice. "What!" gasped Kyo, eyes going wide. "How did you know?" I squeaked, a deep blush rushing to my face. "Your bond is wide open; I can hear everything you say from here." "Fuck…" I grumbled "My bad." squeaked Kyo "I should have been more careful." "I hate you…" I sighed. "I was so… euphoric I actually forgot" he mumbled, his scaled cheeks turning a bright taint of red. "Wonderful…" I grumbled, glaring at my embarrassed dragon. "Shall we… proceed to more… important things?" he asked, trying to get our attention off of him.
"Ah you're finally back!" exclaimed yet another known person. "Is it a meeting point or what?" stammered Kyo.
I quickly spotted the tall hooded man and his immense dragon walking in our direction. "You're arriving right on time!" he let out, addressing each of us a brief salute. "What do you want Owen?" growled Kyo. "Just let you know that our young demon friend has awakened." "Am I lucky." growled Kyo, a forgotten anger sparkling in his eyes. "I suppose you're gonna ask me to lead you to him." "Correct…" he growled, fangs bared, claws impatiently racking the ground. His mind was a boiling volcano of held back anger and frustration on the brink of eruption. However Owen, calm in the absolute didn't look afraid the slightest by Kyo's behavior and simply replied "Alright, follow me please:"
Wit turned around and invited us to come.
We followed him through the alleys under the curious gazes, most of them instantly gluing to Kyo when he came by, fear painting on faces, whispers forming on tongues in his wake. "That's why I don't like to look like this in public." he huffed, glaring menacingly at a young dragoness that had dared to step too close to his taste. "Don't blame them Kyo they have never seen a being like you in their all life; you'll be the living attraction for a few days." "If I stay like this." rectified Kyo with a pissed off growl.
Finally we arrived to a place I had never been in before: a bulky building made of bare tough stone, half disappearing in the natural wall formed by the crater. The entrance, a massive steel door was guarded by a dozen of on duty guards, all wearing some of the toughest armors and heaviest weaponry I had seen." "Halt!" yelled one; all the spears pointed at us, their tip already buzzing, energy gathering in case of danger. "Lower your weapon they are friends." spat a voice. I quickly spotted the commander Kyle had punched in the face, leaning against the doorframe, his nose held in place by a weird leather contraption.
The soldiers quickly surrounded us, examining us from a good distance, keeping their eyes peeled, expecting a nasty surprise. "I said lower your weapons soldiers." he growled. None of his men obeyed, their spears all aimed at Kyo's chest, head and flanks. I clenched my fists; I wanted to rip their weapons from their hands, slap their faces at least a dozen times each and scream in their face how stupid they were to suspect a friend. "Don't…" growled a deep voice blooming in my head. I froze; it was Kyo who had spoken. Just like me he was boiling, a silent rage burning in his veins but surprisingly enough he was able to contain it, to keep it at a tolerable level. I looked at him in surprise, meeting his somewhat impassible gaze "they're not worthy of our wrath."
It was astonishing to see him remain calm even while suspected, thought as a foe. Or maybe it was because he wanted to keep that anger for later, for some other place, for someone else. "Sir what do we do?" asked one of the soldier, probing at Kyo's foreleg with the tip of his buzzing spear, the sharp edge bouncing harmlessly against the hard plates. "Let them in…" grunted the commander.
Instantly all the weapons moved back, all the guards taking a step back with their spears pointing up. One of them ran to the door and; joined by another pulled a set of levers down; setting an unusual mechanism in motion; the heavy door wincing, rumbling as all the locks were disabled with audible, bone-chilling clacks. Finally ten thick metal bars crossing the door slid into the doorframe, freeing the massive rectangle of pure enhanced steel. But it wasn't nearly done yet as a tiny droplet of pure magic slid into a narrow gap between the two panels; going down slowly, undoing the last seal. Then the entire cold surface lightened up like a Christmas tree, enormous gears materializing, spinning in the panel, triggering an ancient and marvelous opening mechanism as in a myriad of metallic clatters the two doors rotated inward on their supports, slowly opening, unveiling what they hid behind.
Finally I remembered why I hadn't seen that place before; it was a forbidden place; a part of the city no one wished to go: the jail. A fellow rider had talked of that place to me before; the place was renowned and feared among us and throughout the entire empire; a sadly famous place meant for those who committed the worst crimes, where even light became a dream as the prisoners were trapped in eternal darkness and silence, left with their guilt and worst nightmares, a place where even dragons could be sent; a place that brought cold to even the most valiant hearts.
A shiver ran down my spine; it was no surprise that three demons had been sent there.
"What a creepy place." murmured Kyo "death is lurking there." "I couldn't agree more…" I whispered as we stepped in.
………
Kyo
I was impatient; I couldn't wait to quench my anger in the blood of that filthy demon. But despite myself I felt my anger cool off when I entered that place. The air became seemingly colder inside, carrying foreign stenches to my nostrils; smells that urged me to back away. Net I had to go in; I had to know so I gathered all my will and took the first step forward.
After only three steps in the dark my snout slammed in something tough. I staggered back, half knocked out. "What trickery is this?" I grunted, discovering an immense fence blocking the way. "You'd better wait until the doors are completely open before going in." shouted an embarrassed soldier. It's quite slow and the lights only start when the doors are completely open." "Couldn't you say that sooner?" I huffed, massaging my painful snout. "You didn't leave me enough time to warn you!" he exclaimed. I held still, grumbling under my breath, hearing some of them giggle. "You're too impatient Kyo." chuckled Allen, joining me in the pitch black entrance. "I can't wait to get my answers from that demon's mouth." "Be patient it will come soon enough." I hope so." I huffed.
Finally after an endless time the doors slammed in the walls and around me tiny reddish lights ignited, casting terrifying shadows over the walls. The fence rose, allowing me to go further in.
Next I arrived before what looked like a dead end. "Is this a f… oh… nevermind." I mumbled as what looked like a wall inclined, revealing to be the actual floor; or rather a drawbridge stepping over an invisible pit. I stepped first, testing the toughness of the bridge. It was old, maybe as old as that entire place, polished by ages of use. I threw a quick look over the edge; grimacing as a putrid scent assaulted my nostrils. It smelled like a graveyard, as if thousands of dead corps had been piled up and left to rot in the depth. "Damn… that's smell… is awful…" grunted Allen. "Acid…" hissed Tarken "a powerful one… one that can dissolve us." "Damn… they really don't want their prisoners to escape." mumbled Allen, leaning over the edge. "Welcome in jail Allen." I sighed, not very at ease in such place, catching a faint violet hue of the thick syrupy liquid lying on the rocky bottom.
We went further in, crossed the bridge and stopped in front of another door marking the end of that suffocating airlock.
The door opened on a large room basked in an almost reassuring light in such a terrifying place. We had no time to express our relief already a guard waved toward us, indicating us to follow him as he disappeared in a small door, only to reappear in the frame of a dragon sized one.
We took a downward spiraling stairs; each steps more slippery than the previous, the endless looking column lightened by a dim orange light.
We crossed several levels; floors of pure torture and suffering opening on large corridors vanishing in the shadows, thick unnamed doors covering the walls, opening on dark jails.
As we descended deeper the prison became darker, the air thicker, damper, moister, the stench of death floating all around me, twisting my guts with fear and disgust. Finally we arrived at the bottom, the pinnacle of despair, suffering and insanity. The atmosphere was suffocating, thick, unbearable. The guard led us through a maze of identical corridors, guiding himself on a map under the flickering light of a torch until he stopped before a door in all point similar to the other. "Here we are" he announced, pulling out his keys from his pocket. With an impressive knowledge he found the right one in a split second and forcefully dug it in the lock. "So… who is going in?" he asked, his pale face basked in the orange light of the burning stick, darting nervous eyes at each of us in turn. "I will…" I huffed. "Wait a second Kyo; I'm not letting you in without having one important question answered." "Mind your own business Owen." "Kyo… they deserve to know." stated Tarken, his voice cold and distant. "It's my problem and mine only… if there are responsibilities to take I will." "Then I think we are stuck here." let out the mage. I could barely see him but I immediately sensed the surge of his powerful magic. Before I could even raise my guards I was tied to the ground, held in place by his wicked summoning magic. It amazed and frustrated me how he could alter reality, bend it to his will to get rid of his opponents. I pulled, I tugged, I trashed; I tried to rip, to bite, to tear through but nothing would work, the magic was dragon proof and even my will couldn't break it. Yet I didn't submit nevertheless; my fire welling up in my throat, ready to carbonize his face. But before I could spit the fire burning in my throat something slammed my face in the hard stone, forcing my jaws shut, the liquid fire filling my mouth, bulging my cheeks with my own attack. I didn't have to look up to know a large paw was pinning me to the ground, holding me still in a steel grasp of sharp jagged talons. "Don't you dare." roared a mighty voice in my head, crushing me with its bare undeniable strength. I swallowed my fire, coughing thick acrid smoke.
But having that tall and much stronger dragon trying to dominate me awoke something, something fierce, something mighty, something that made even him shiver. With a swiftness that impressed me I lashed out, expending my influence as the power blossomed, reaching out to all dragons around, breaching through his defenses with ease. In an instant, a delightful second I felt his mind bend to my will, utterly submitted. "Get off me…" I hissed. "Nice try Kyo but it won't… work…" gasped Owen as his dragon complied, removing his paw and taking a step back like a good obedient pet; he even bowed his head down in submission. "How is that possible?" he gasped. "Kyo is an alpha… a very powerful one." giggled Allen amusingly. "And his powers seem to amplify that effect…" grunted Owen pensively "oh well guess I'll have to do it the old fashion way."
I saw a dark glow in the shadows as the bond tightened their grip on my trapped limbs as more straps latched onto my flanks, neck and around my snout, tightening until pain jolted in my brain and I whined pitifully. "Don't be reckless Kyo… tell him…" pleaded Allen. "You knew?" I gasped in shock. "I heard you count your story to Tarken… and seeing how euphoric you were… it was easy to guess who he is."
""Kyo I'm waiting…" he let out, tightening the magic embrace a bit more. "Fine…" I huffed, defeated.
Immediately the bond holding my maw shut vanished. "So… who is it?" "My brother…" I reluctantly spat "That's why I need to know."
I had nothing more to say; in a cold silence I was freed. I stared in awe at him. "That's all I needed to know… you have my permission to go in."
I wanted to send him away but instead I thankfully bowed down "however Kyo… promise me to keep him alive." "I have nothing to promise to you." I grunted disregarding, heading to the jail. A lightning flew right next to my eye, sticking in the wall next to the door. I backed away, discovering the cursed blade on the end of its tensed chain pounding with ancient dark energy excited by the mere motion, awakened by my presence; a cursed weapon cursed with an endless, unquenchable hunger; a blade that starved for another soul. "It is not a request Kyo it's an order." "He will be alive… but I can't guarantee he will be in one piece."
I stepped in, slamming the door behind me with my tail.

Meanwhile
Alckor
My body was pain, a ball of pure suffering, every inch radiating unbearable aches. My brain couldn't even register anything else, not the chains, not the thick air, even the cold floor I was lying on. I didn't know how long I had slept; an eternity could have passed by unnoticed. The last thing I remembered was the chilling embrace of ice and the heartwarming sensation of peace.
My eyes slowly cracked open, unfolding on the darkness as thick and impenetrable as those clouding my mind. So thick in fact that I wasn't sure I had actually opened my eyes.
Was I still alive in fact?
As a matter of fact I'd say yes; I still could feel my fluttering eyelids, the panicked thumping of my heart in my chest and the pain crippling every square centimeter of scale. Slowly my eyes adapted to the obscurity… or rather my senses sharpened enough for me to sense where I was.
I was lying on bare stone cold as the ice that once trapped me. I'm in a rather small square room deprived of light as well as… well mostly everything. From where I was I could only see the rough rocky ground and a hole in a corner; no door, no windows, just a deaf cube of stone.
I tried to get up; my muscles throbbing painfully as blood flowed in my limbs once again.
I remained there, sprawled on the floor, throwing wondering gazes everywhere. After several minutes I had a good picture of my room: only stone and stone, a large empty space for me to roam in. If only I could move.
I tried again, my muscles still dully aching but this time I managed to move my claws and wag my tail around a bit.
I let out a relieved sigh, finally recovering the entirety of my senses. I tried to get on my paws again, gritting my fangs under the surge of pain it triggered but finally this time I managed to climb back on all four.
I smirked, stretching my stiff limbs, testing if everything was in working order. "Better…" I whispered, taking a step forward just to topple over and fall back on my belly. "Darn it…" I huffed, attempting once again to get up, standing up on wobbly paws.
"Let's see where I am…" I mumbled, taking another step forward.
This time a muffed gasp escaped my throat as something tugged me back, applying pressure on my neck. I tried turning around, a similar thing holding one of my hindpaw. I fell flat again, tangled in whatever held me down.
"What is that…" I grunted, trying to pull as hard as I could even though my throat was starting to itch because of what was holding it. That was when I felt them; that I heard their high pitched metallic tingle as they racked along the floor. Chains; thick steel chain. I reached forward, grabbing one. It was thicker than one of my hindlegs, far too strong for me to break. But it wasn't the chain that scared me the most; it was what it was tied to: me. Now I felt them, cuffs, collars, wrapped around my neck, latched to my limbs, all the way to my tail, holding my body in a shackle of crude steel. "I'm trapped!" I squeaked in shock, trying to pull away from all these chains but it was far out of reach. Maybe my energy could get me rid of them.
I focused, channeled it in my scales until I was brightly radiating, my scales emanating a purple glow. If I could release enough maybe I could….
However before I was able carry out my plan I was stopped. I gasped; arching my back, weakness creeping over me as all the energy I had gathered disappeared. My eyes burst wide in shock as I tried to hold it there. It felt like all my power was suddenly vamped, sucked away, drained from my body. I looked down, seeing in awe the chains glow, every fiber of steel gleaning with my stolen energy as it flowed in like a river; all the now glowing chains sending their harvested prize to a large ring protruding from the ground.
I tensed; I recognized that system. I had seen the same before but where? I couldn’t bring my mind to give me that so desired answer.
My eyes went wide, the truth appearing obvious, as clear as daylight before my eyes. Of course I had seen an equivalent system before and it was nowhere else than in the tower; I had even been a part of it. But instead of being the catalyst I was the energy source, the powearplant of some unknown machinery. It felt weird to be on the other end of the chain; to feel all that energy pumped from me instead of flowing through me. If only I could reverse the process.
But it was evident whoever had designed that system had made sure it was impossible to do.
Frustrated I threw a small fireball to the wall. As expected the draining chains absorbed my energy but unlike what I had though a small part of it was still channeled, enough to cast a tiny, almost ridiculous bubble of flame who exploded when it made contact with the wall. I witnessed in shock and fear the wall light up with the same purplish glow. Even the walls ware part of the drainer.
Fear crept over me; there was no escape; I was trapped, caged in a dark spooky place, even denied the right to move. My cell looked so small, so narrow, so cramped now as I was only allowed to move in a small corner of it.
The many gross stenches reached my nose. The air reeked of death and fear blended in a nasty concoction of sweat and other body wastes. The stench was suffocating, intoxicating, my stomach knotting, on the verge of letting loose its content all over the floor.
I needed help; I had to get out. But where could I find that? Trapped in my tiny prison. “Of course!” I shouted “but… where are they?” I squawked, struck by the awful reality: there; in my head something crucial; something critical was missing; I felt anything; only blackness and emptiness. “No no no no” I gasped, trembling in fear. I reached deep into my mind, looking for those reassuring presence.
I quickly found the bonds, diving head-first into them… to find myself denied, facing a dead end. "Skel… Tormis… Ordan…!" I called in a high pitched voice. No answer came. "Is there anyone here?" I whined, panicking, my heart pounding in my chest, cold sweat falling from my face. "Anyone…" I squeaked miserably, curling in a tight ball on the ground. None of them could hear me; none of them answered to my desperate calls. I wondered if they were even… alive. Something reassured me on that point; if Ordan had perished I would have suffered the same fate due to our bond and I supposed it would be the same for one of the twin brothers. "Can anyone hear me?" I sobbed, tears flowing from my eyes. "I do…" answered a voice.
It was so low… so weak it was barely audible but I held to that tiny whisper with all my might. "Ares!" I chirped happily. "I'm still there:" he shushed.
A deep relief washed over me as I let all my emotions loose, nudging, hugging, cuddling with that familiar, friendly although pesky presence. "Wow easy Alckor easy!" he yelled, drowned in the flood of my emotions. I shivered… that name… it still triggered so many contradictory feelings inside me: on one side a disturbing feeling… I didn't remember that name so why was he calling me this way? But on the other side it felt familiar, sounded known, my body and soul reacting every time I heard it… as if… it did truly belong to me.
"Why are you calling me like this?" "It’s your name."
It wasn't a question but a certitude. "You m-mean…" I stammered. "Yes… you found him…" he whispered, nuzzling me affectionately. "Kyo…" I whispered, recalling the happiness on his face when he saw me. Why did it have to go that way? Why did that guy have to be here and ruined that magical moment? It was so perfect… but someone had to break it, to shatter that once in a life moment and now magic was gone in both way; I was forced to expose under my… true form and Kyo wouldn't trust me anymore. "Where are we?" I asked, throwing curious glances everywhere. "In jail… apparently." "Where?" "I don't know; this place is blind." "What do you mean?" "You can't see outside and no one can see you. You live here ignored and oblivious; forgotten by all." I nodded, chilling as I felt the emptiness in my head, the bonds I clung to so direly lost, torn away in the blackness. "The worst is… there is no way to get out; brute force won't get you past these walls and has you've seen magic is powerless to even leave a scratch on a brick." "So… that means we're… trapped?" "Yes and with no way out." "Why did it have to go that way…" I sobbed, crumbling in despair. There was no worse situation; I was alone, powerless. "Who…" I asked, a deep growl building up in my throat "who busted us?" "The same mage that defeated Ordan. I sensed his magic but it was already too late. Forgive me Alckor… I wasn't quick enough… I couldn't protect you."
"It's alright… no one could." I whispered, forgiving "I should have been more careful… I let my feelings overwhelm me and forgot all due caution." "I had to admit it was quite… reckless… and bold to go face to face with him in bright daylight; you could have done this in other circumstances, once he would be alone." "It never happens; there is always someone with him." "You're right but perhaps you could have chosen a more appropriate moment to confront him." "I know." "Still what has been done cannot be erased and I suppose… it's better that way… you would have found out sooner or later."
"Hold on… that means… you… you… y-you k-knew all along!" I roared, slamming my claws in the tough chains, grimacing when raw pain jolted from my paw. I felt betrayed, fooled, manipulated, that… ungrateful bastard; that trickster had played me once again. "You… asshole!" I spat, finally glaring directly at him, my eyes blazing with fury. "Alckor please calm down and let me explain." He squeaked, disappearing as I tried to punch. I knew it was pointless; that he wasn’t a physical entity; that my blow would never connect but it felt relieving all the same. "You'd better be convincing…" I huffed, sitting down in a web of metallic noisily tingling chains. "you are right…" he started "I knew… or rather… suspected that he was but I couldn't be one hundred percent sure." "How long have you been guessing that?" "Since the first time we saw him." "And you never told me!" "I didn't want to give you false hopes… beside I wasn't certain… he looked like… but there were some things that didn't match." "Like what?" "The color of his scales… among other thing." "Wait a second; how could you know that?" "I… I…" he mumbled, hiding his face in the shadow. "Don't tell me you did what I think you did." "I harvested them from your mind." he admitted, a sense of guilt peaking in his voice. "You stole my memories!" I yelped "but… why?" "It was… to ease the pain." "To make me forget you mean?" "No… my intentions were good; there was no trickery in it; I wanted to help you cope with the loss of your family." "I can't trust you on that…" I hissed. "Please Alckor… for once have some faith in me." "It's hard." I growled, my lips twitching in contained anger. "To be completely honest… I was afraid; I apprehended the day where you two would meet again… I wondered what would happen of me. So I preferred to keep these memories to me… and it had the benefic effect of making you feel better, so I took the burden." "And what has become of all these stolen memories?" "I preserved them the best I could but sadly… some have eroded with time… just like those you kept on your side they shatter with time, and become mere ghosts wandering in our head."
I nodded, understanding what he meant; I had the very same issues with the fa^,nt memories I tried to maintain that with times became phantoms of a foreign past; a senseless, inaccessible dream. "So… you're certain it's him?" "It's obvious; he recognized you at first glance. Weren’t you sure of it yourself?" he whispered. His voice was full of an emotion I had never heard there before: sorrow. I finally dared to look up at him. What I saw left me speechless, it was unbelievable; he was crying; sobbing heavily, ghostly tears rolling down his cheeks as low whimpers broke through his tightly sealed lips.
"Why are you crying?" I mumbled, still shocked by what I was seeing. I tried to reach him, to comfort him but he would always evade me, stay out of reach both physically and mentally. "Look at me…" he murmured in a barely audible tone.
I obeyed, observing, analyzing him from head to toe. There was nothing different from usual… but it was only at first glance. I focused harder, squinted my eyes. I froze, my lower jaw falling, a tiny gasp escaping my mouth. I was petrified as I realized what he wanted me to see. He was losing all composure, the edges of his body blurring, dissolving, wiped away like dust by the wind. Beside that his body was missing all consistence; becoming a paling veil vaguely looking like a dragon. Even in my mind he was slowly disaggregating, pulled away, shattered to shreds. "What… what's happening to you?" I squeaked, panicked as I felt loneliness grab a hold of my heart. "This place…" he whispered. I had to perk my ears to hear him, his voice sounding like he was miles away. "This place is destroying me; it's making my magic inefficient and it's… slowly devouring me." "That's horrible…" I squeaked "What can I do?" "Nothing." he let out; his words echoing like a death sentence "but it's not all." "What now?" "All these years ago… when you… made me; you created me to be a nice… company to you… someone you could talk to… you could confess to… a friend, a presence to fill the empty hole left by the lack of a real family… and I fulfilled my duty… although you didn't want me anymore at some point I was there. However… now that you have found your family… I have no purpose left in life; I have no valuable reason to live." "Are you trying to tell me you're going to leave me alone?" "You're not alone Alckor… you won't be anymore." "But… how will I master all these powers without you?" "You are stronger than you think; I know you can do it." "And… that… transformation you've begun inside me… how will I finish it; there's still plenty of things to do." "You can finish the job on your own Alckol; you know yourself more than anyone else and you will know how to proceed."
I stared in despair as he kept dissipating, losing shape, shrinking to a small dark cloud floating in the suffocating air. "Alckor… don't cry…" he whimpered "you shouldn't be… regretting me." I tried to protest but no word came out, my throat dry and unresponsive as if I was choking on something. "As much of a pesky… disregarding… manipulating creature I've been… I'm proud of having gone that far with you. It has been an honor to be with you all these years and it's with honor and pride that I go… goodbye my friend."
"Farewell…" I whispered, crying with him as he nuzzled me one last time before disappearing for good, erased of existence; leaving me alone with my tears, my sorrow and my despair.
The room felt even colder and emptier than before. Loneliness squeezed my entire being, painfully twisting my guts. But I clenched my fists; my claws piercing my palms, drawing a tiny droplet of acid blood, its sting helping me stay focused. I gritted my teeth, swallowed my despair and pain and with a new determination rose to my paws.
I wouldn't stay here eternally, crying on lost things; I would make it out of here despite all the odds being against me and I would go back to Kyo and I would prove him that I was his brother and enjoy that happiness enlightening his traits.
But firstly I had to get rid of these chains. I calculated all my options; I couldn't break them by force and energy would just feed them. A surge of pain in one of my paw gave me the answer I was looking for. I yelped in pain as the acid that was my blood was starting to eat through my scales, spreading around the original wound, a mere puncture in the armored shell of my scales. "Could it work…" I mumbled, watching a greenish droplet travel along one of my claws, hanging on the tip for a split second before falling down. I watched the tiny drop splatter on the chain. At first nothing seems to happen; the material appearing to be acid proof. But suddenly an acrid stench reached my nose, the liquid hissing as the acid seems to boil, a toxic fume rising, spiraling from the green point. I observed in expectation as the green liquid dug in the metal, forming a tiny hole into it. I wait; I wish; I hope as my blood eats through the chain like paper.
Finally I see the green liquid emerge; oozing from the other side of the chain. I let out a triumphant chirp, hope swelling in my heart. I have found my way to escape… I just need more… I need to bleed; tiny droplets like this won't be enough to destroy a chain; it has barely punctured a link. If only I could bleed more.
I lied down on my belly, contorting myself to try and hurt myself but those who had designed this system were smart and mace it almost impossible. But… after long exhausting minutes of strangles, of entangling myself more in the chains I manage to reach my neck with a claw. "That's gonna hurt."
I braced myself and with determination sank my sharp talon past my scales. I bit down on my tongue to not scream too loud as blood gushes out around my claw; raining down on the chain, coating several links in green. I try to aim the stream a bit and manage to splash some more on one chain tied to my paw. It burns, it hurts, my neck aching as the acrid scent filled my nostrils, the stench of my own body melting under the assault of the devouring substance was almost enough to make me throw up. Finally the same hissing sound comes to my ears; it's almost relieving to know it worked. I observe silently, a wide grin spreading on my lips while the acid melts the steel with a terrifying ease.
It only requires one pull to snap the weakened chain apart. "Hehe… Alckor 1; prison 0" I giggled victoriously.
In five minutes I'm unbound and unleashed, finally freed from their steel grasp. Freed… well not completely; I was still trapped in that dark room, my paws and neck still clasped by steel cuffs and collars with remnants of chain dangling from them.
I quickly healed my wounds, sighing in relief when the ache subsided.
I explored my room, finding easily the only door. It's a tough looking steel made panel set in the wall; no handle, no hinges, only that cold slick panel.
However after some probing I found what looked like a locking mechanism. But… as I prepared myself to melt it with more acid I stopped… it must be equipped of an alarm to prevent break outs. What do I do? Do I take the risk? Or wait and try to look for another escape.
Fate took the decision for me as I heard noises coming from the other side. Someone was coming. I listened; they were a group but I couldn't determine their number. I shivered; they had stopped… right in front of the door.
The lock was opened in a chilling clack.
I backed away in the shadows, hiding as best as I could in a corner.
The door opened, a sound that creeped me out, like someone was suffering with its opening. I curled in a tight ball, hiding my snout away.
I heard someone enter right before the door slammed shut and locked itself again, trapping me with the newcomer.
I couldn't see him but I sensed his presence. I felt him walk, heading straight for where I was supposed to be. I could hear his breathing, a deep growl echoing through every fiber of my being. When he realized I wasn't there he rumbled deeply. I felt his eyes scanning the surroundings. I made myself as tiny as possible in my corner but I felt his gaze stop right on me, aimed, piercing my scales. I don't know how but he was able to see me in complete obscurity.
Before I could even think about moving a claw a wave of heat rushed in my direction. A burning hot object exploded near me, sending fire everywhere.
I cracked an eye open, immediately blinded by the bright light of a fire. But it wasn't a natural fire; it was only like a dragon could do. Also it wasn't natural given the fact the flames were a magnificent mix of blue and black. That gave me crucial information; the anti-magic defenses had been disabled.
I looked up, discovering an immense creature, a dragon by the look of it. He was absolutely huge, at least four times bigger than me. It had long sharp talons that would rip me apart with ease, enough strength in his muscles to crush me like a fruit, a fanged maw where he could have engulfed me in one go, opening on a forest of sharp and deadly fangs; a thick tail swaying widely behind him and broad wings… hold on… he… he had four! Two separate sets of wings.
Was it a dragon… or something else? His two crimson eyes were fixated on me, filled with anger and rage.
I wanted to hide; to run away but I was stuck in a corner and the fire he had ignited illuminated the entire room, not leaving me any way to escape. "Hi…" I attempted politely, terrified by the enormous drake standing in front of me, his burning gaze not leaving me. He didn't answer. "Have we… met before?"
Once again a dead cold silence answered me. "You're not very talkative are you?"
He snarled, his lips unfolding on his glistening fangs. "Why don't you stop talking for nothing." he hissed, his deep voice sending cold shivers down my spine. In the blink of an eye a clawed hand dove straight for me. I only had time to brace myself; the claws latched around me, pressing on either side of my ribcage. I let out a muffed gasp as I was lifted from the ground. I could try to squirm as much as I wanted but it was hopeless, his grip was too tight. "What do you want?" I whined. "Don't you recognize me?" he rumbled, the putrid smell of his hot breath washing over my face. "No… I don't… should I?" "Yes… you definitely should." he growled. I concentrated, going through my most recent memories. I didn't remember anyone looking like him… or did I.
A chill traversed my scales; my heart skipped a beat as my breath caught into my throat. I had seen him before; I recalled now; that anger I had already seen it before. "K-K-… *gulp* Kyo!" I squeaked, squirming in his tightening grasp. "Exact…" he growled. "What… what happened to you?" "Look at what you caused." he rumbled, forcing me to stare at him. "Me! I… I don't understand!" "Don't try to play the fool with me." He roared, throwing me like a small scale ball.
I landed roughly, tumbling over on the ground, only stopping by my body slamming hard against the wall. I squealed in pain, hearing my bones snap audibly. I tried to get up, my right wing hanging limply, the membrane brushing against the floor. "What have I done to you?" I whined, trying to get out of reach, my entire wing throbbing painfully. "Remember…" he spat angrily "remember what you promised me!"
What I promised… what is he talking about? Has he gone insane?
I dug in my memories once again, trying to find what he meant.
Finally it popped in my mind. "I… I promised I wouldn't… do anything against you and your friends." "And what did you just do? You broke your own promise." "What!? No… I… I didn't." "Oh really… then tell me what you attempted to do." he growled, sitting in front of me.
I was speechless, incapable to talk, panicked and too anxious to concentrate on words. His smile grew more mocking, amused, almost wicked as he watched me struggle. "I… I wanted to… thank you again for… sparing us." "A respectable intention." he growled, bus I knew he doubted my words "but why did you need that silly camouflage?"
I could say nothing, my brain blanking on that question, it felt as if my whole intelligence had melted, turned to goo. I laughed; I couldn't stop, my body shaking under the spasms provoked by a nervous burst of laughter. I couldn't hold it anymore, all my tension releasing at once. In the storm of my conflicting emotions I was divided between tears and laughter, earning a wondering and kinda scared look from Kyo. "I couldn't show myself in public!" I exploded, still madly laughing "it would be like having a target painted on my back. Are you stupid to ask me that question?"
I didn't see the paw coming; harshly slapping my face. I fell on my side, dazed, my cheek burning, aching as tears pearled at the corner of my eyes. I stood up, my lips trembling. I couldn’t believe he had slapped me; I felt scolded like a little child, punished by an elder… my brother in that case.
He took a deep breath, looking even more serious and solemn than before "do you have any idea of why I'm so mad at you?" "No…" I whined, holding back my tears as best as I could. "Do you know who you were looking like o me?" "Alckor…" I mumbled. "Yes… Alckor… do you know who he was to me?"
I hesitated… should I tell him… or pretend ignorance? "No…" I whispered, lowering my snout.
"Alckor was my little brother… a brother I've lost a long time ago. So my question is how did you come into possession of his appearance?"
I saw two options offering themselves to me: either I could lie, make up a false story, earn his trust again and maybe later… reveal the truth to him. Or I could… go ahead and spill it out now The burden was becoming too heavy to bear; my only wish at that moment was to run into his strong arms and latch onto him and never let go again; hug his muscular frame for eternity and celebrate our reunion. But in both scenarios the question remained unchanged; how would I prove? How would I show him that I was the one he originally thought I was? I took a deep breath and took my decision, a decision from which there wat no going back I spoke.
"Kyo… I have something to tell you. I know it might sound stupid… and… unbelievable but… I knew Alckor… I knew him personally… in fact… *deep breath* it's me…" I let out; trembling and sweating as I spilled out all these words. He didn't flinch, his face staying cold, showing no sign of a single emotion, nothing transpiring from that cold face. I kept going "I know you may not believe me… and I understand that it's hard to and that I must not look like what you would expect but… it's me… a lot of things happened lately… things that led us to be on opposite sides but… my ultimate goal was to find you and…"
I had no time to finish; from the shadow of the decreasing, dying fire a paw lashed out, wrapping around my neck, cutting my sentence short as my trachea was squeezed shut.
"You're not very clever are you? You really thought the same strategy would work two times on the same person. You're just a mindless whelp." he spat, tightening his grip around my throat, my lungs itching as air was denied to them. "Although I'll give you that your approach was cunning and you did a good job of messing up my mind; it was even quite disturbing but did you honestly thought I would believe the same lies again?" "Kyo…" I gasped, suffocating as he held me by the throat. "Shut up!" he roared "I shouldn't have trusted you… I should have killed you in that cave… but you looked so helpless… however this time I won't make the same mistake." he growled, pushing me on my back, letting go of my neck. Yet he didn't leave me time to recover as his strong paw landed on my chest, hardly pressing on my ribcage. I felt my bones bend under the pressure, my inner organs squashed down under his weight.
"But…" he stated, removing a bit of pressure from my chest "I'm in a forgiving mood so I might grant you a merciful death or maybe… who knows… keep you alive at one condition" the pressure came back, my bones cracking under the strain as I cried out in pain "if you tell me where my brother is."
I grimaced, coping with the pain radiating from my chest. "Kyo… I promise… I'm not lying to you… it's me… Alckor!" I whined "Don't you recognize me?" I cried out in desperation. "You're a stubborn one aren't you?" he huffed, pushing harder. I screamed, one rib breaking, sending jolts of pain as tears burst freely from my eyes "your trickery won't work on me so you'd better start talking if you wish to eventually stay alive. Otherwise I'm gonna have a lot of fun breaking you." he rumbled with a sadistic smile.
"Kyo… I swear… *gasp* I swear on all the gods… on my own life… that I'm not lying to you!" I squawked, bearing down under his increasing pressure. "Lies…" he hissed, shoving his paw in my chest; two other ribs popping along with a handful of other bones, the jagged fragments tearing my flesh. "Kyo…" I gurgled; blood flooding my throat; my inner flesh surprisingly withstanding the assault of the corroding blood "please… I beg of you… listen to me… I'm… I'm telling you the truth… I'm… I'm your brother." "You filthy demons wont abandon so easily…” he growled; squashing me down, claws curling inward around me. I roared in pure suffering, more bones shattered by his bare strength.
I abandoned all hopes; sobbing as pain bloomed in my system, blood gushing from ripped veins. Tears cascaded down my cheeks as I noisily cried, sniffing and sobbing heavily. What was painful wasn't my bodybeing broken, torn apart but the fact that death was about to come from the hand of my own brother; that hurt like a cold blade sank right through my heart.
If I was about to die I wanted to feel him again… for the first and last time. With the remnants of my fleeing strength I twisted my body around, grabbing onto his paw with all my might, sinking my talons in his scales as I rubbed my snout against his scales, enjoying the softness and warmth of his scales. I could feel the muscles bulging, stiffening under me and the mighty energy boiling in his veins coming to a halt.
It was like the scene had frozen, leaving us in an instant that for me lasted hours in which I held onto his scales with all I had, drenching them in salty tears as I nuzzled him passionately.
"What are you doing?" asked a barely recognizable voice "why are you crying?"
I looked up. Our gazes met as we stared at each other intensely. It felt weird but I swear I could see blue sparkles wandering in the crimson red spheres; so furtive, so elusive I thought I had dreamed them. But, just to prove my point all his body seemed to react according to that disturbance, his energy shifting almost imperceptibly during that brief second.
"Stop this…" he growled, coming back to his normal state. My head harshly met the ground, half knocking me out when he slammed me in the floor, my back snapping as more bones broke. His judgment was clouded, his mind fogged by anger, an anger fueled by the darkness inside him and his anger fueled that ravenous beast even more. If only I could make him open h, s eyes and see… if only I could help him fight his evil… if only I could stop that vicious spiral of dark power inside him.
I froze; noticing something odd, something I hadn't felt before. Our energies… they were pounding in unions, attracted to the other like magnets. I didn't ask myself why or how it was possible; hope blossomed in my heart; I could do something. If I drained; if I absorbed the shadows lurking inside him I could help him see.
Sadly I had no clue on how to do it. I had never done it before… well… willingly. In the tower I had no choice, no way to resist the flood and then… it had always been Ares who had done the draining… while I wasn't watching, unaware of his actions.
I gritted my teeth, feeling so powerless, so stupid; I should have been more curious; I should have trained.
But… as I blamed myself, cursed my horniness I brutally stopped, an unexpected shift occurring in a dark corner of my mind. It felt as if a door had been opened, an unquenchable flow of knowledges I didn't know I had.
What I was looking for was almost shining bright before my eyes, obvious, evident. But do I have the strength to perform this? There is only one way to find out. Gathering all my strength I pulled myself up, my broken body convulsing in pain. Before he could react I grabbed onto his foreleg, my claws piercing his scales. The coppery scent of fresh blood waffled at my nostrils. "What do you think you're doing?" he grunts. "I'm sorry Kyo…" I whisper. I close my eyes and… let it happen.
Instantly raw darkness invade my body, making me almost lose my grip as I twisted and cried in pain. Kyo lets out a feeble gasp, taken by surprise, paralyzed as I started to drain him of his energy.
I grimace; gritting my fangs as the untamed, boiling, almost living energy filled my veins. I feel full, overflowing with energy, every scale glowing, pounding with the excessive energy I absorbed. I have to dispose of it before it consumes me. I feel it's sting in my flesh, my body burning under its vile presence. But what could I use it to? I remembered one spell… the one Ordan taught me. I closed my eyes again and tried to focus enough to cast the spell. A sweet warms flooded my flesh, going through my shattered bones, everything healing, the wounds closing; the rips suturing; the blood flow stopping, the bones mending, healing, the fragments taking back their rightful place.
I let out a low purr as the energy regenerates me. But it didn’t stop there. I opened my eyes, letting out a "oh" of amazement as I feel the change occur in my guts: my freshly repaired bones strengthening, my scales becoming tougher, my flesh bulging with new stronger muscles. "So… that's how he did…" I whispered to myself, understanding how Ares managed to transform my body so deeply.
But I have no time to wonder; there was still a lot to drain and nothing to do of it. Well… until the bindings were reminded to me. Without a sliver of hesitation I guide the flow to the metal parts, filing the absorbing steel until it can't bear anymore. When I reach a critical point I sense the cuffs break in half, falling down and disintegration upon touching the ground, freeing me instantly.
With that I felt the torrent of darkness turn into a stream; a mere rivulet.
Before me Kyo shrinks with a muffed gasp, still petrified as I sucked away everything that remains.
Before my amazed eyes something completely different unfolds; I discovered in utter surprise and curiosity the true energy of my brother; the peaceful stream flowing in his very flesh, a marvelous beauty of inky black and radiant blue mingled perfectly and deeply, forming a tough, unbreakable looking chain of raw power. It's what I thought… until I saw the weaknesses… they were many… places where the balance was tipping on one side rather than the other.
I understood the fragile balance, the equilibrium that anything could disturb.
I pulled away, having no reasons to remain longer inside him, using the last strands of energy to close his harmless gashes.
Finally Kyo had turned to his original form; back to the dragon I knew. He opened his eyes, shaking his head to clear his mind. The look on his face was the one I wore after a bad dream. He looked lost, stunned; speechless. Our eyes met; these immense blue orbs were much more reassuring that those hellish fiery spheres.
We shared a smile; I saw gratitude on his face as silent words were exchanged.
Pain burst through my chest, my body convulsing under an electrical discharge. Something… or rather someone had just truck me. I fell down, stoned, drooling; eyes wide as successive electrical shocks surged through me.
………
Kyo:
"Damn I should have seen him coming." grunted Kaos.
I didn't listen; staring at the young dragon lying on his back with eyes almost bursting from his skull. My mind was a mess of ever colliding questions coming from all side. One in particular kept coming back: "Why? Why did he do this?"
"That little scumbag had planned his attack well. You're lucky I was there otherwise we were screwed."
I nodded; he was quite an ingenious creature, he had broken free on his own; he had endured great sufferings just to get close enough to… to do what? He had harvested my energy; stolen it with a scaring ease. What was disturbing was that he only took the excess; the part I couldn't get rid of. Was his goal to steel something… or to help me? I was puzzled clueless and above all grateful.
"Why did he stop?" I whispered, still shocked by what just happened. "What do you mean Kyo?" "He could have finished the job but instead he stopped… he only took… the excess."
"Yes you are right it's surprising but don't let it get to you… they can't be trusted." "Kaos… don't you think he was honest with us… that he really didn't want to harm us?" "Maybe yes maybe not but I won't take the risk." "I will." "What! Don't be foolish Kyo it's pointless to bother with them; they're not worth your time." "This one is." I growled. "Fine… do as you wish but don't come cry afterward."
I went to the half-conscious creature still lying on its back, mumbling words in a half slumber. "Hey… are you alright?" "I'm fine…" he mumbled, cracking an eye open. "Sorry for that… my friend there is a bit… susceptible." "Go eat a dick Kyo." growled Kaos "I'm protecting your ass don't forget that:" "Ignore him he is only a pest."
He smiled. "Thank you for what you did to me." "No… no problem." "Tell me… why did you stop?" "I… I promised to not do anything against you… and I did. My original mission was to take away your… friend as you call him." he explained, waving toward Kaos "but… since I vowed to not harm you… I betrayed my kind and… you know… if I can help… I'll do." he chirped. "All help is appreciated." I replied, nuzzling him gently. I was surprised to see him nuzzle me back with the same affection. I didn't mind the slightest.
"But first tell me your name." His face flushed red with embarrassment as he squirmed in obvious discomfort. "Hey what's wrong?" "If I tell you… you're not gonna believe me." "Why so? Go ahead."
He hesitated, nervously twisting a broken chainmail. "Kyo… I didn't lie to you earlier… it's me… your little brother."
I chuckled, patting his head. "Guess I'll get nothing more than that from you."
I turned around, throwing the jail a long pensive look, my gaze falling on the thick chains that once held him. They were in a pretty bad state, dissolved and broken, wearing the traces of a powerful acid that burned even steel. "You know… I'm impressed. How did you manage to break free?" "Oh… I… have… a few tricks up my sleeve" he mumbled "Interesting and…" "Excuse me…" he interrupted in a whiney "could you tell your friend to stop staring at me like this… it's kinda creeping me out!"
I crammed my neck back. The scene I discovered was… I don't honestly know how to describe it. The young demon had backed against a wall, surrounded by a cloud of swirling smoke in which I could barely distinguish two blazing red eyes. Kaos was literally all over him, examining him from every angle, even sneaking under his ail. I had never seen him in that state. His mind was a boil; a brew where all his thought were mixed. "Kaos!" I called. "Of course…" he grumbled "it was obvious…". "Kaos!" I growled more insistently. "How could I not see it?" he mumbled, oblivious to my calls.
I opened my mouth, ready to yell at him to stop when he suddenly disappeared just to pop next to me. "I'm just a fucking blind idiot!" he let out. "Why do you say that?" "I know why I didn't spot him earlier! I know why he didn't raise my suspicion. It was right there and I like a dumbass I missed it!" he roared, describing wide circles in the room. "Calm down and explain us what you mean!"
"It had to be something and I fucking missed it! What a…" the rest lost itself in an avalanche of words spoken in a foreign language. "In English please." I huffed "I didn't bring my translator so…" "Shut up Kyo I'm trying to think…" he growled in reply. "Is he always so annoying?" "You have no idea." I sighed "but I suppose we'll have to wait." I added, sitting on the floor. Luckily it didn't take long for Kaos to emerge from his thoughts. "Kyo you remember when I said I couldn't detect him?" he starts without preamble. "Eh… yes… you said you sensed a weird disturbance but I thought it was all due to that pendant." "You're right… for the most part but even after I had troubles defining him as a demon." "And?" "I just found out why!" he chirped happily, proud of himself. "And why is it so important?" "Because…" he said, keeping the suspense, letting us hang until we would beg him to drop the ball. "because he is not a demon." he let out with a satisfied grin. "What! But… the look… the energy signature… the camouflage…" I stammered. "You know that really sounds racist Kyo. growled the young demon." "Sorry…" "I know it sounds weird but sometimes appearances are trickeries and this young man here is a pure bred dragon just like you. However I'll have to admit you look like one of my kind nevertheless but that can be explained by the amount of raw dark energy inside you… an energy you seem capable to absorb and use for power… am I right?"
He nodded. "That also explains the signature" continued Kaos "for the trickery you probably learned from my kind and the camouflage I would bet my life someone made it for you."
Once again he vigorously nodded, looking at Kaos with respect. "I'm impressed…" he mumbled you pierced me to daylight. "But… why are you working for them?" "It's a long and complicated story." he sighed. "But… who are you? where do you come from?" "From the dragon realm… I think…" he whispered "just like you." “And it's not all!" exclaimed Kaos, drawing my attention away. "What now?" "Think about it Kyo; do you know any kind of dragon with incredible absorbing and adaptation capabilities, that can master all kind of energies and magics; that can use them to change themselves at will." I looked in my mind, back to my schoolyears but with poor results." "No… I don't see." "Come on Kyo don't play dummy! You know the answer!" "No… sorry I don't." "It's easy even I found!" happily chirped the… demon… dragon… whatever "it's a…" "No; don't spill it out too soon; let Kyo figure it out for himself."
I let out a deep growl; delving deeper in old memories until I fell on a forgotten memory of a biology and anatomy class. In that specific classes the teacher that I hated by the way since he discriminated me all the time regarding my sc_a_le color; explained us the things that made each kind of dragon different and unique.
My eyes popped open as a loud cry came out of my throat. "A white dragon!" "Exactly!" they screamed as one.
I remembered now, the so rare and incredible kind of white dragon, respected and praised by many; even sometime hunted for their incredible powers.
"So… you’re a white dragon." I mumbled, eyebrows furrowed as I observed him with a close attention, trying as best as I could to imagine the pure white being under these layers of darkness. But instead I noticed something familiar in his traits, something that even body shifting and mutations couldn't erase.
I took a step back, trembling on my paws as the revelation struck me. "No… no it… it can't be… you can't be…"
"But it is… I am…." he replied; happily smiling.
I dropped on my belly, my paws giving way under me. I stayed there, mouth open like a fish out of water, trying desperately to form a word.
"Alckor…" I let out, so low I wasn't even sure I had spoken out loud.
"Yes Kyo… it's me."
………
Allen
"So how is it going inside?" enquired Kyle, as impatient as I was. We had followed, listened everything from the corridor, waiting for the end to unfold.
"Pretty good I'd sy." I replied with a broad toothy smile.
………
Alckor
Finally; I felt relieved, happy and even more emotions I couldn't describe as I jumped in my brother's arms. Kyo was speechless, still in shock from the revelation; the truth leaving him paralyzed as his mind tried to cope with the truth. Nonetheless he held me, bringing me closer to his chest. I buried my face in his scales, taking a deep whiff in his musky manly scent; a scent I had missed. His soft scales brushing against mine were triggering jolts of pleasure and happiness.
His snout lowered down, nuzzling my back as we embraced passionately. Slowly, euphoria took over the rest, letting us hug deeply only like siblings could. "Alckor…" he kept repeating, his voice breaking every time he pronounced my name as if he tried to pursue himself it was true. I latched onto his scaled chest, not willing to let go of him anymore. "I can't believe this is real." he whimpered "I… I thought I had lost you forever." he let out, breaking into tears as he roughly shoved me in his chest. I could feel his heart racing underneath as salty droplets rained on my back. "Me too…" I sobbed "I… I barely remembered you…" "It's alright… now we're together and that's what's important right now. I'm just… sorry it took so long…"
"But finally we're together again…" I purred, nuzzling my big brother lovingly. "Let me feel you… I want to feel everything of you." "Go ahead… I'm all yours." I replied.
I waited two steps away from him as he watched me, touched me with care like he feared to break me. He spent a long time testing the firmness of my scales, measuring my horns, playing with my thorns, letting my claws slide against his opened palm. I was giggling and shivering all along, amused by the curious display.
After some time his paws reached my nether regions, fondled my balls for a while and I was fine with that. A feeble gasp escaped my mouth when one of his claws brushed against my slit. "Sorry… did I disturb?" "No… it's alright." "Can I?" "Yes… go ashead… I'm not ashamed of showing my endowment."
"Excuse me guys!" called Kaos, noisily clearing his throat "Don't you think we have more important things to do." "Oh yes… you're right…" mumbled Kyo, pulling away, face reddening in embarrassment. "Really… we have all the time we want?" "Not sure about that. Don't you want to see your friends again?" "They're here!?" "Yes and I can lead you to them." "Please Kyo; do it!" "Then follow me Alckor; we will have more time to discuss later." I followed him obediently, my tail wagging happily behind me as we headed toward the door.
Kyo knocked three times and it slid open, commanded from the other side.
Before I knew it I was face to face with a small group, a guard keeping a torch at face level, providing the only light in the corridor. He looked puzzled, doubtful, pondering if he should protest or not. Next to him stood one dragon and two humans.
My heart skipped a beat, my blood freezing in my veins, my breathing stopping as a tide of fear washed over me. I knew them all; I had seen them before and I had battle against them or helped in one way or another to try and take them down. I quickly basked away, hiding myself behind Kyo, throwing furtive glances at them. But they didn't look angry in any way; all wearing warm smiles on open, welcoming faces. "Come on Alckor don't be shy; they're not gonna eat you." "Unless you want it." chuckled the green dragon. "Don't be an ass Tarken he is scared."
"Hi…" I pitifully squeaked, quickly waving my hand at them in a timid salutation.
One of the human stepped in my direction, going around Kyo until he had reached me. We watched each other, expecting the other to do the first step. It was him who broke the ice, reaching out with an open hand. I could see on his palm the mark of the bond with a dragon. Deep inside I knew it was Kyo's rider. "So… Alckor I suppose?" he asked. "Yes…" I shyly answered. "My name is Allen and I'm Kyo's rider… and friend; it's a pleasure to meet someone of his family." "The pleasure is for me. I guess you're a member of the family as well now." I replied with a bit more composure, grabbing his hand. We shook hands; the posture was a bit odd for me but I bended to the human's customs.
Then came the other man; the green's rider. "Name's Kyle…" he grumbled crushing rather than shaking my hand. "Alckor" I winced "a pleasure to meet you." I let out, grimacing as I removed my paw. Ge said nothing, just walked away.
Then the last one came, the tall green dragon, he was smiling, a devious grin that made me feel a bit twitchy but I tried to keep my composure. "So… I finally get to see you." "Yeah… I think we met before." "Maybe… I don't remember" I could see malice glint in his eyes "but it's an honor to finally meet you in person Alckor; Kyo has told me so much about you. My name is Tarkean and I'm Kyo's mate." "Nice to meet you." I answered with a warm smile; knowing who he was way before he spoke. The scent of Kyo was strong on him, forming an aura any male could detect.
"Good… good…" whispered Kyo. While I wasn't watching he had started a talk with the guard "Lead the way then." He ordered the man. The guy executed himself, going away at a rapid pace. We followed suit, imprinting a series of corridor shrouded in darkness and mystery. I didn't know where I was but I could smell the disgusting scent of rot and other unknown pestilences.
I stayed as close as I could to Kyo, unsure of what could happen. After an exhausting run through the maze of corridors we stopped in front of yet another anonymous door. "It's here" announced the guard "I'll stay outside if you don't mind."
"Alckor, come with me." ordered Kyo. I obeyed. "Where are we going?" "Where your friends are." "How are they doing?" "I don't know."
We entered in another corridor, this one surprisingly enlightened; dim red light falling from the roof, giving the place a creepy atmosphere. At the end of the short corridor stood another door; this one hanging wide open. "I don't like that place…" I whispered, trying to keep up with Kyo. "Me neither. Come on let's not waste more time and hurry up; this place is giving me the creeps."
We entered a large room; so large in fact its walls were invisible, hidden in darkness. Only the center of the room was lightened up by a circle of magic crystals radiating a warm yellow light and torches burning and crackling, all the light casting on two silhouettes; two frozen figures. What was that place? What were we doing here? I didn't know but one thing was sure; I wanted to leave as soon as possible.
My instinct brutally went nuts; sending me alarming signals, sensing something enormous right next to me.
I stopped, breathing sharply, my heart pounding rapidly in my chest. I slowly turned my head to the side, something warm swiftly caressing my scales, like a gust of wind… but in a closed room it was impossible.
A tiny gasp escaped my throat as I was met with the sight of one of the largest dragon I had ever seen; his bright blue scales shimmering in the dancing light. He was absolutely massive, utterly dominating me from above. And the worst of all; his attention was entirely focused on me; his blue eyes scanning me in one look, piercing through my scales like sharp blades. "Hello…" I attempted, shivering as I took a step back. He didn’t answer, only snorting noisily as if my scent displeased him. Before I knew it I was sprawled on the ground, crying out in pain, eyes wide open, pupils slitted my limbs hieratically kicking, my claws curling, my tail slamming in the floor, my entire frame convulsing on the ground. He had penetrated my mind, breaking through my defenses as if they hadn't existed. All my mental walls crumbled in his wake, leaving me naked and exposed to his enquiring mental presence. I couldn't hide nor protect myself; he went everywhere; digging deep in my memories, discovering everything there was to know. My life was an opened book displayed for him to read. Suddenly, as quickly as he entered he had retreated, leaving me devastated, panting on the ground, trembling from head to toe. "Damn it Voire go easy on him!" roared Kyo, leaning over me with worry and care. "Are you alright Alckor?" "I'm fine…" I whimpered. It was false; I felt soiled, violated, shameful and pathetic but I didn't want to show that to Kyo. I knew that the guy had seen everything of my life and I knew from the look on his face that he had enjoyed some of it. I got up; still shaken by the ordeal I went through as the big beast stepped aside to let us go with a loud huff.
We went to the center, entering the circle of light.
Immediately I felt my muscles weakening as I fell on the ground, incapable to bear the sight that unfolded before me. The two things I had identified earlier were two statues; but not two sculptures but two living beings trapped in shiny slick stone; two dragons I could recognize in a thousand. Despair filled my heart as I saw their two bodies petrified, frozen in their last stance; a bone-chilling display of fear and panic.
"Skel…' Tormis…" I gasped, tears flowing from my eyes as I collapsed on the ground "Why…?" "I'm sorry Alckor…" whispered Kyo.
"I see it went well in the end!" shouted a voice. That voice… I recognized it; my claws scrapped the floor, my teeth gritted as a wave of anger filled my veins; t was the one who had attempted to murder Ordan.
I threw a look in his direction just to see him come out from behind one of the statues he had made with my mates. I had only one desire: tear him apart and make him pay for doing that to my mate.
But I knew I had to keep calm; we were on the same side now. "Indeed" replied Kyo. The man stopped right in front of me "I hope I won't have to freeze you again." he chuckled, a mocking smirk curling his lips. "That won't happen…" I hissed through clenched teeth. "Please accept my apologies; I didn't know who you were." "It's forgiven." I replied, still cringing a bit "also nice aim by the way." "Thank you." he replied, slightly bowing down "Kyo can I talk to you?” "Sure…" "In private" he added, making Kyo a sign to follow him. "Stay here Alckor… it won't be long." I nodded, watching anxiously as he walked away.
I was left alone in the circle of light.
With nothing else to do I padded closer to my friends, reaching out with a paw, shivering when I made contact with the lifeless, cold slippery surface. I traced the curves of their bodies with a claw almost affectionately rubbing their petrified hide. I couldn't sense any life underneath the otherworldly rock, only more stone. I broke into tears, nuzzling one of them, letting all my despair and anger out.
"Why are you crying?" asked Kyo. I tensed; I didn't hear him come back. "They were my mates…." I sobbed "I miss them so much." "Don't cry like this you'll see them again soon enough." grunted the man. "Hold on what did you say?" "Oups… did I forgot to mention that?" he mumbled. "Do you mean they're alive!?" "Of course they are!" he shouted "I wanted to neutralize them not kill them!" "Could you… free them?" "I could; but do I want is something completely different." "Please…" I begged; crouching low as I stared at him with a pleading face as cute as I could. "You know you could almost bream my heart with such sad face." he sniggered. "No it!" growled Kyo. "Ok fine… they're not of any use anyway… despite their value as art pieces. But at the first misplaced joke I will shrink you to the size of maggots and squash you down under my boots is that clear!" "It is." I replied, not impressed by the menaces "They won't do any harm?" "Why are you so certain of that?" "I have control over them… if I want to." "Oh… that's handy…" mumbled Kyo.
"Alright then step back and let me work my magic." sighed the man, sitting on through stone. He started whispering words as a dark ball materialized in his hands. He slowly rose to his feet and raised his hands toward the statue. I watched in awe as a beam burst from his hands, striking the two dragons in the chest. I was about to crack when I saw the layer of rock break, shiny cracks spreading everywhere at an insane speed. The beads surging from his palms became wider as fragments of rock were ripped away, the two statues loosing layers and layers of stone in the mighty storm.
Finally both fell to the ground, freed from their prison. They were panting, trembling; their eyes unfocused and breathing shallow. They were perfectly conscious and healthy, just looking completely lost and shocked.
Quickly they found the other, sharing a long intense look. No words were exchanged yet t wasn't needed as one I assumed to be Tormis jumped onto the other, pinning him to the ground before driving into a deep hug. "They're adorable aren't they?" I chuckled. "They are." approved Kyo.
They froze, noticing our presence. Their eyes went wide when they spotted me. I smiled; they observed me with puzzled expressions, wondering if their eyes weren't lying to them. “Hi guys” I chirped; my tails wagging happily behind me. They said nothing, their jaws dropping in shock. We waited, observing each other with the same expectation, waiting for the other to take the first step. They shared a furtive glance, a smile forming at the corner of their lips as the two rammed straight in my chest. We rolled on the ground in a ball of paws and limbs as they nuzzled and cuddled me from all sides. "You really have loving mates Alckor." Admired Kyo. "Thanks bro but your mate doesn’t look bad either." "Oh he is great." he replied "so… may I know your names?" he asked. The two brothers tensed over me, slowly cramming their neck around to gaze at Kyo. "Skel…" gasped one; "Tormis" whined the other, both bowing their head down. "Nicto meet you." replied Kyo.
It was at this instant a man rushed in; he was wearing a shiny silvery armor and his helmet under his arm; his hairs were glued to his face by sweet, his face red after running for an extended duration. "Forgive me to interrupt…" he panted, leaning against the doorframe; catching his breath before proceeding "but the emperor requires you immediately at his palace." "Can't it wait?" grunted Kyo, bored by the request. "Great dragon… you can't refuse an audience demanded by the emperor himself." "I know but we are busy right now." added my brother in obvious annoyance. "I'm awfully sorry to learn that but it cannot wait. He said… that war is on its way." "Did he say that?" asked Kyo, suddenly looking more serious. "Yes; he asked me to transmit you that information." "Alright then we are coming; wait for us outside we will be here soon."
He nodded and vanished in the corridor. "Sorry to interrupt things so abruptly but we have to go." he sighed "and I think you should come to Alckor." "You think?" "Yes."
Tormis and Skel looked at me in expectation, waiting for my decision.
"We're coming."
