The midnight order was a network of his most trusted spies. he made sure to keep it operating after he was removed from security and intelligence.

"tell me something, does the block remain after the individual leaves the service of the midnight order?" she asked. at this point, it stopped and looked at her. "no one ever retires from the order," it replied.
Losses
However, none of them realized that captain darrean was already on a mission for the midnight order, and instead of following the orders they gave her, continued the mission she was already on. spying on the kres government as a potential threat.
